Hello and welcome to Jason Newland. com is Jason Newland this is Deep Sleep Whisper Hypnosis. Please only listen to this when you can safely close your eyes and if you're watching the video on YouTube please only watch this video when you can safely close your eyes and also please subscribe also if you have any comments or anything like that please leave them not just on YouTube but on the podcasts as well because then it looks like people are actually listening if I have some kind of activity in the comment section I think I'm pretty sure you can leave comments maybe you can't I don't know also just let you know see I knew what I was gonna say I just got bored I reacted to the bored boredom that was about to be unveiled upon you now I've forgotten what it was I was gonna bore you with so you couldn't have been important oh yeah must really be boring I'm trying to say it my website on the very first page of my website you know when you put in Jason Newland.

com there is a podcast player on the first page on the home page and my newest recordings my newest sessions are on there ready to be played it's just in case it makes it a bit easier rather than going to the podcast but if you want to go to the podcast or wherever you normally go then do that as well because that's great but it's just I thought I'd let you know you can stream it on my website instantly now I think I'm just gonna do a old-fashioned body scan I do these occasionally partly due to laziness I suppose but also it's a meditation it's you know it's a mindfulness meditation and it's something that I learned a long long time ago and I feel it's helped me a lot over the years with my own anxiety and stress to help me just focus on how I'm feeling physically in the moment it's kind of like trying to stay in touch with reality rather than letting my mind get over active and imagining stuff and feelings that aren't really there but feel like they are you know this mindfulness it's just really good as can save getting grounded that's a bit of it's a word I don't really use for me it's just about getting in touch with this moment because ultimately that's all we ever have we have this moment and in three seconds time we'll have whatever that moment is but it will be this moment when it arrives among the many benefits it's when you're focusing on for example your legs your knees your elbows your hands your fingers that attention that you're giving to that part of your body is also a distraction from some of the other thoughts that you may have been having before you decided to listen to me and to do this body scan which can allow you to not just feel more relaxed but to feel more focused and also feel more drifty when you go from stress and tension to relaxation your body and your mind can feel safe to just let go let go and that's a really nice feeling when you realize that actually you can enjoy this moment but just focusing on this moment and it's not even about how you physically feel it's not about your toes or your your lower back or your jaw that's just something that I mentioned something that you focus on but it's not about that part of your body it can be about the intention the decision to focus on something else and take back your power so that you choose what you think about and you decide to move from that passenger seat into the driving seat and you choose to relax deeply to let go a nice safe healing sleep you choose because you're in the driving seat you choose because you can I'm gonna start at the top of your head and I'm just gonna mention the part of your body focus on it you can allow it to relax if you choose with every part of your body that I mentioned you can just let go of your whole body feel sleepier feel safer and just drift off into deep safe healing sense of comfort now as you focus on the top of your head noticing how the top of your head feels now your forehead I like to move my eyebrows up so I can feel my forehead and my eyes that connection as you focus on your eyes moving down your mouth your tongue your jaw the whole of your face now focusing on the back of your neck the sides of your neck the front of your neck your throat focusing on your shoulders the tops of your arms your elbows your forearms your wrists your hands your fingers focusing on your chest focusing on your stomach focusing on the top of your back the middle of your back your lower back focusing on your hips your buttocks your groin focusing on your sides the sides of your stomach the sides of your ribs and your spine moving all the way down from your neck middle of your back to your hips focusing on your thighs your knees your calves your shins focusing on your ankles the bottom of your feet the heels of your feet the arches of your feet the tops of your feet the sides of your feet and lastly drifting drifting away your toes your toes
