Hey, what was that about? so welcome to let me boy to sleep on sunday the 20th of september 2026 at 2 59 in the afternoon please only listen when you can safely close your eyes you're a good boy aren't you yes you are so yeah i'm talking to vinnie by the way i'm not sort of saying to you good boy no oh so yeah um i'm a bit tired i just had something to eat a little bit sleepy a little bit it's the

average sunday afternoon actually it's quite nice today like weather-wise not that it's been anything but nice really for months but it did start to get a little bit chilly over the last week or so but today it's warm it's a bit windy but it's just yeah it's really nice out there i took vinnie out twice so far i'm gonna take him out again probably about six won't we then really the only thing that's really happened catchy catchy up wise is i've been working well i'm still working on a website but i launched i officially launched

the website on well it's supposed to be friday but it turned out i did it thursday because i was being impatient and i just wanted to find out whether or not it could uh i wanted to find out whether or not i'd be able to connect it to my domain name i was a little bit concerned how difficult it would be and because i've had problems in the past connecting to my domain name from websites builders well it didn't work to start with but chat gp just sorted it out so yeah it's connected fine so

far since i yeah since i launched it on thursday was it thursday thursday friday saturday so yeah four days ago i've had 242 505 page views and and today i've had 21 142 so far i mean i had one day which was really high and then yesterday was 43 500 a day before was 148 000 a day before that was 14 000 so a lot of it is you know bots and stuff finding my website pages but also i've got unique visitors as well so people are actually visiting the website a lot more than i'd

normally get which is nice so i'm in the process of so i don't know if you know if i if i mentioned it i've been making the transcripts available for in different languages so i've got 10 of the main languages in the in the world as i say in the uk there's more than 10 languages in the uk and every language in the world's in the uk even languages that don't exist are in the uk i've been he he speaks a different language oh blimey anyway i so i'm building the website still building it still

working on the i've done the spanish version and i think i've just finished the french version so i'm going to do it gradually over this week so all 10 all 10 versions will be built and i'm also in the process of building more playlists that's going to take a few months it it won't be well it's never going to be finished but i think it will be pretty much complete to the point of just updating when i make a new recording at that point probably by christmas probably but it all depends on you know what

happens and yeah we'll see i also need to have a backup plan so what i'm thinking of doing is getting another soundcloud account and uploading all my recordings onto there make it private but just have it as a storage um as well as uh having my like and google drive having all my recordings on there as well that way if for any reason Spreaker where i hold i hold my podcasts if for any reason there's an issue with Spreaker i can then just transfer to soundcloud which would probably take about maybe a couple of days

there's some weird noises in the garden oh so yeah i think that would be quite a nice thing to do handy also soundcloud there's no limit to what you can have on there to the amount of recordings you can have there's uh limits on most podcast hosts but not with uh well not with Spreaker not with soundcloud i'm not sure what other ones there's no limits yeah i think soundcloud's one of the only ones i could look into that i can look into it uh other things i'm this week i've spent a lot of time

trying to organize my recordings on my hard drives so i started the week with three hard drives like external hard drives and then i realized that one of them was on the blink as it were not working properly at one point it didn't even turn on so i managed to get it on in the end and spent the next day or two removing everything from there onto the other hard drives because otherwise i'd have lost all that stuff and i didn't want to lose it you see so i managed to do that so i'm going

to chuck away that hard drive that's now rubbish basically what it is is i've had it for i've had that hard drive since probably before i even moved in here probably about 2013 those are good old days 2013 everything was simpler back then i'd always younger i was 42 just 42 unless of course it was this time of the year then i'd be 43 but still it's better than being 56 56 and i still i get nostalgic sometimes about the past and i realized like well that's what being nostalgic is it's thinking about the past

but i just have these memories of when i moved in here when i first moved in here i had my black chair it was like um like a lazy boy but a really cheap lazy boy i think it cost me about 150 pound and lazy boys are probably more than 450 or 500 or something so it was but it did the job it was big it reclined which is what i needed and i had it here where i'm sitting now it doesn't really mean much when you're listening i know it's like well we don't know

where you're doing well i'm sitting on the left hand side oh okay so i used to sit here in the corner there's pictures and videos from the past of me sitting there doing videos and i had the tv it wasn't on the wall to start with but it did end up on the wall and it wasn't it was just wasn't a big tv it was i don't know 22 inches or something 25 inches it was big enough for me at the time and then gradually over time the chair moved closer and closer to the wall

until i was holding the tv like it was a magazine this is when i realized i needed a bigger telly a bigger bigger telly and i just remember sitting here this is even before i got Andre sitting here watching telly i probably had a can of lager or can of coke in my little holder in the in in the armrest there was a holder in each one you could put a drink in it and i was watching tv and i had my table and chairs the other side of the room near the window and didn't

that was it i didn't have these desks that i've got because i've got two desks or two like they're gaming desks actually but you know i use them for computer work and stuff and oh yeah and i've got i had a settee the other side of the room which i got from my friend downstairs and that was all right i had that for a while Andre destroyed it he burrowed right into it when he moved in and then that was it really so i used to sit here to watch telly and i remember watching benefit

was it benefit britain which was talking it was basically visiting people in clackton and i think it's a channel four documentary or benefit road or benefit britain or something like that maybe it wasn't clackton it was somewhere anyway and just i had sky tv for the first time ever so when i moved in i needed to get internet because i didn't have internet and so i got sky i don't know what i had before that's a weird one so anyway i've got sky and they said would you like it would you like some television as

well and i thought what a free television i said no would you like to have television i said i've got a television they said no you're not understanding me would you like sky tv as part of your package as well as the broadband i said is it free and i said no i said well i don't think i can afford it they said we'll do you an extra special deal because you're so groovy and i thought okay see what you got and so it turned out that they did do me a very special deal and

at this point yeah at this point i did have andre so i moved in in april may june july august september i think i got andre in about august september time so yeah for the first few months i didn't have sky the reason i remember it is because when the man came around to fit the dish outside on the wall and then he fitted all the this by the way if you don't know sky is like satellite television and you can pause it on live and stuff it's like it's really good i liked having it

but i couldn't afford to have it it was too expensive so but i did have it for a while and and i remember the man who who brought all the package package and stuff he took the the the i don't know what you want to call it the digital thing out of the box and you know set it all up and then vinnie and andre so i ran in and was playing with him so he basically he made it a little hole in the box and he and he you know did it all up and

he made it for andre to have as a little den and he did vinnie vinnie andre keep saying vinnie andre had that and he used to go in and out of it i put a bit of stuff in there for him i think a t-shirt or something and that's why i remember i got andre before i got the sky dish but even before that i remember just watching tv and it was kind of surreal it was a surreal moment because even though i'm not necessarily i don't know a big fan of all the times i've

moved and moving and everything there is something quite nice about moving in a way in a sense of the change and doing something different changes scenery because sometimes going from one boring place to another boring place can almost seem interesting if that makes sense does that make sense doesn't it you know because it wasn't i was see when i moved into my last place i was moving out somewhere that i really didn't like i didn't like living there because of just a situation that i was in financially it was very difficult to get by i

was earning 100 pound a week i think and my rent was 125 pound a week that's you know things have got pretty bad so um i did end up yeah i was doing oh yeah i had to move out i had no choice and i was so grateful to find the place i did find because i think it was like 65 70 pound a week for this room and after having to pay 125 suddenly i had 30 pound a week in order to live on instead of minus 25 so i was you know it was

like wow very happy and also i didn't wasn't enjoying the environment because it was a bit of a bit of conflict there and stuff so i moved out into this new place that i moved into i didn't know that it had mold because the landlord basically just painted over it which he did when i moved out as well so he got my neighbor to do it that's how i know literally because i was quite good friends with my neighbor there and he said yeah he got me to paint over it it's like it's just yeah

it's crazy but um i was so relieved to get out of that other place to move into the new place that i was in before here it's just getting confusing isn't it but then i was again in that kind of uh moldy flat i was in there for what three years i think but i moved in i moved i got i got evicted from my first that place when was it 2011 i was evicted so i moved into in march and moved to the one that i couldn't afford and then 2012 moved into the other

place march 2012 and then april 2015 i moved here so yeah i was three just over just over three years i was living there and you know if my social worker hadn't actually come into the room and seen for herself how bad it was i wouldn't have this flat so because i was a bit i was unwell for a while and the social worker and another person came in to where i was living and there was nowhere for them to sit they had to sit on my bed which is weird it just wasn't big enough

for more than one person to be sitting there and he's like what was that smell and i thought oh it wasn't me for the first time it wasn't me it was the actual room it's just it was just a bad pongy moldy smell and i got used to it after a while had the windows open and everything but so i was waiting to get a flat and they kept putting me low down i mean i'd have had one by now probably but they put me down as not not like urgent so i contacted my social

worker and said uh you know i said you've been around my flat haven't you you've been around my room she said yeah i said uh would you be willing to write a letter to the housing office and telling them about my room and she said yeah and she did and within about a week or two weeks i got another letter saying i was bumped up i wasn't at the top but i was bumped up to like b instead of d d would have been or maybe c it could have been like five six seven years

before i got a flat maybe longer this way uh i instead of being next i was soon if that makes sense and i don't think i had to was it 13 12 yeah i didn't have to wait for more than about a year i was i was bidding i might have been been less than a year that i was bidding but it turned out i didn't realize at the time that the the council were or the housing situation was quite manipulative in the places that they offered so when i moved here because i was offered

this um to look at and i didn't i didn't know didn't even know where i was didn't realize well i did know i was a long way from town but i didn't realize how how difficult it was going to be to get anywhere inexpensive as well so but i was really desperate to get out of that other place and it was a weird one because i came here first well the appointment i had was just after it was a tuesday after the easter bank holiday weekend so i came up here on the saturday no i

can't be on a friday so i can't be on a no not friday because that's easter easter friday i came up here on the saturday i don't know yeah i came up on the saturday just to look at the area i knew roughly i didn't know the exact i knew that i thought i got the wrong number actually but i knew where it was with the road and everything so i just wanted to check what the area was like and it seemed very quiet i came into the building i knocked on all the doors no

one answered i was just going to sort of ask what the place was like is it a nice area is it is it a nice building you know but no one answered now had someone answered and being honest then i wouldn't have moved in but you know that's just that's just the way things are isn't it it's uh i had no idea what led what laid before me and i came back another time in the evening so i came back during the day but i came back in the evening because i wanted to see what

it was like evening time and again it was quiet but i also missed the last bus back so i had to walk all the way back to town which took me about two and a half hours three hours so i had doubts on that one i'm thinking well it's a long way if i get stuck in town and have to come back it's a long walk but then but then i was thinking well yeah but at the moment because i was having to pay extra on top of my rent with the other place because the

the housing weren't paying the full rent he was charging me he put the rent up to something like 85 pound a week and they were only willing to pay 60 pound a week so i had to pay 25 pound a week or something out of my own money to to him so at least once i moved here i didn't have that anymore so i thought well that'll kind of even out if i have to get taxis and stuff every now and then but i still wasn't sure and then i came here on the tuesday morning

i was the first person to be seen it was like nine o'clock half eight nine i'm sorry about the noise in the garden but it's just just what it is isn't it weird how really loud adults seem to produce really loud children because that's all they hear isn't it loudness so they they've got no if you know it's it's just it's normal isn't it so i came here yes i came here on a tuesday and the lady i actually knocked on the door no answer so i went downstairs and i had a phone call and

it was her the lady said you want to come up i'm waiting it's that that's when i realized i've knocked on the wrong door and anyway i came upstairs had a look around like luckily it was daytime like well they couldn't show up during the night because there was no lights electricity was off but also the it was april and it was very bright apart from the hallway which is always dark the bedroom living room kitchen bathroom didn't need no lights because it was very bright from you know the brightness of outside i looked around

and i was first of all surprised at the size it's a good size it's not huge but it's definitely it's not small either whoever said that before and so and then later on a few hours later i hear i thought you said it wasn't small and i it's a good size i don't i don't personally think it's big enough for two people you know if i had if there was two people i don't yeah i mean me and vinnie getting each other's way we trip each other up sometimes it's i don't know i think it's

okay to have a visitor but to live in the same space and if you're going to plan to have an argument or anything where are you going to go you're going to stand in the kitchen go in the bedroom like it's you know it's you need a bit more room don't you i think if you're gonna have a relationship and you know gonna have nice healthy arguments every now and then it's good to have a few rooms to have your own space to go to like for both of you i think i think that would

be the ideal situation for me is if i was living with someone in a relationship a romantically wonderful kissy kissy relationship then i think we both need to have ensuite bathrooms each one each and there also needs to be a separate bathroom and also a separate toilet downstairs so a toilet in each of the bathrooms of course and then a separate toilet downstairs for visitors because we don't want to come in upstairs do you don't want people going into your bathroom and you know i had a neighbor knock on my door and asked me to

help help out to go into the flat and help her out and she asked me to take my shoes off i've never been so angry take my shoes off are you serious take my shoes off what's the point in treading in dog's poo searching around for dog poo to tread in if then i've got to take my shoes off when i visit it's pointless no see that would be the end of the relationship if i went around someone's house and i met someone i really liked and they said oh you take your shoes off no

see you done i have to take my shoes off at my dad's and it winds me up 40 years later it still winds me up because he's got a cold floor seriously he's got a cold floor and he can't feel the cold he's got no sense of cold my dad he i guess he's warm-blooded or whatever or cold-blooded is it cold-blooded if you can't feel the cold like lizards can't feel the cold can they or can they i don't know i'm not saying my dad's a lizard i'm not it's i genuinely i'm not sure no

no he's definitely not a lizard so taking my shoes off yeah not not not a fan of that when people come in here they just wear whatever they want if someone treads in dog poo then they're gonna have to clear it up and they but i'm not um never had anyone take their shoes off i could never ask someone to do that that's just it's different if it's a cultural thing of course i went to i think in japan don't they take their shoes off or something then fair enough because i'm not going to go

against the whole country i don't want to annoy a whole entire nation of people just because i'm ignorant but i don't mind it annoying one person anyway i took my shoes off because i'm much braver when i'm talking about it than that in real life when it actually happens i just go along and take my shoes off it's annoying it's really not as annoying as having someone tread in mud i you know i had a friend do that the other day being in the fields he treaded mud all the way through my flat so why

couldn't you take your shoes off when he came in yeah i do i see the irony there i see the i heard someone call iron iron the other day i was doing the ironing you know like ironing you know when you press on clothes with a heated thing ironing now i know it's got an i r in the actual letter but it's not pronounced ironing it's pronounced or it's not pronounced iron it's pronounced iron i heard someone like genuinely say it wasn't even as a joke they were genuinely saying um they used the word iron

now iron it's a bit like some people say ruff instead of roof now ruff ruff is what dogs make that's the sound dogs make isn't it ruff ruff ruff ruff or woof woof but ruff ruff ruff not when you say ruff that's not the thing on on top of your house that's a roof roof it's educational i'm trying to help all i'm doing is trying to help out and i hope that you appreciate my effort so yeah i've been working on the website um i've got a few ideas a few changes i'm looking to make

um yeah a few changes just it would take a while i just i've got a few things on my mind that i'm going to do over time um but some of these things won't be until the website's pretty much complete but i yeah i thought about having a a thing where so all my recordings are available to download for free so i thought maybe have two download buttons one where you can still everything's free but you can um not donate that's not the right word but you can contribute 30 cents 30 cents which i don't

think you can buy anything for that anymore um or 30 pence contribute that towards this free service the running costs of this free service optional of course so i thought about doing that and using stripe which means i would get 10 pence out of the 30 pence so take 20 pence in fees so it's not you know it's not going to contribute a huge amount with small you know with a small amount of downloads but you know if you if i was getting thousands of downloads the people actually literally downloading not not playing but downloading

not streaming but downloading so yeah then it might be might be a worthwhile thing uh also this didn't work out very well but yeah but i'm still in the process i have to do more work on it i built a translation machine or you know i went through the process of building a translation machine which was basically putting in an audio that's in english and converting it or translating it into an audio in spanish or french or you know whatever the languages are that i've got and then upload those recordings into playlists and have them

as part of the website so that people in germany france but whoever whatever language speak you know speakers could listen in that language now ideally i would do it dubbed using 11 labs but it would cost me thousands and thousands of pounds many thousands uh a lot of money to dub all of my recordings all my old recordings it wouldn't cost huge amounts of money going forward if i only dubbed the new ones but it still costs like probably a thousand pound a day maybe maybe a hundred maybe not a thousand but it yeah it's

still gonna yeah actually probably yeah it would do if i did it in 10 different languages if i did it in all the different languages then it would be this unlimited amount of money it's literally hundreds millions a year maybe millions a month which if i did do that i'd have to have a absolutely a massive audience to cover those costs that's why you know you think of things like youtube and netflix how much it costs just for the service just to provide that service without anything else without all the stuff they produce without paying

for it but just to provide it so it could be streamed millions every day they're paying out to provide that service youtube again millions every day is costing them and just to allow people to upload videos for free and to watch them to stream them i can't even imagine how many millions it costs the running costs are for youtube every day of the week millions and millions it's crazy isn't it it would be nice though i mean if i could use my own dubbed voice it wouldn't it would need a huge amount of financial backing

but even if i used a basic voice that wasn't mine it's still going to cost a fair bit of money to do as well i don't know why that's funny it's still going to be expensive so i don't know it's a shame it's a shame but you know what i think within a year maybe even two years maybe three it will come to the point where it will be easier cloning a voice will be much easier much cheaper and just putting together what i want to transcribe or to convert or re-dub or whatever you want

to call it will be simple easy and fast and cheap maybe even within the subscription i have with chatgp2 you never know you never know no you don't you don't know but i don't really want to wait that long i'd rather get it i want to do it now i want to do it now and so i built this app which goes onto my desktop and went through the whole process and i said i built it i had help building it but it was supposed to work and it didn't work i was only testing it

with a two minute recording an english me talking to convert it into spanish and those two minutes lasted for about about half an hour it took until it told me that it just didn't work couldn't do it and i haven't had the time or the i was going to say the energy today i couldn't be bothered to work on it today i spent quite a few hours yesterday doing it but i wanted to focus on other stuff today so yeah let me have a look at something so today i've got 21 142 21 142 that

was at the beginning of the recording 21 142 that's how many page views i had now i've got 23 556 it's a couple of thousand page views just in the time i've been doing this recording blimey i guess i'm hitting a global audience at the moment because of the transcriptions and stuff and that wasn't really the reason i did it i'm just i hope that i just want to i know that i've got a global audience i understand that people are going to be listening to my english version my recordings because that's the only ones

that are available but is that the case is are there apps in other countries where you can that automatically re-dubs it dubs it into your language are there podcasts in say germany for example that offer you a french podcast but in german re-dubs it is is that a thing you know that's how i've got to do more research there might be there might be something out there but also the transcriptions are good for people that may not be able to hear hear okay um but i don't know how good the transcriptions are though you know

in a sense of i just don't know because i can't people would have to tell me what i might do what i might do is have a thing at the bottom of the transcription saying was this good or crap was this a good translation or utterly rubbish and they can just click yes you know up thumbs up thumbs down just so i can get that little bit of feedback you know um it might be useful it might be useful you know you know i mean in it so what else yeah i'd like to i said

it's not going to be finished for a while but i want to get it as close to done i'm trying to think of other things other other things i'd like to do with the website i mean ideally it'd be quite nice if i could create um like a copy of the website into an app because what i'm doing on a website is what i wanted to be on my app so maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe baby maybe it can be done once the website's built maybe it's possible to create an app based on the content

and offer all those options because i also like the idea and i have talked about this before but i like the idea of offering um the option of and this would cost money to do this but offering the option of people choosing music that they could have either underneath the recording background or afterwards like a lot of different music choices or you know just just um choosing the speed of the recording which i think you can do on some apps podcast apps or in the future not right now but in the future um using my

client voice ask what you want say so i want a hypnosis session to to help me with my phobia of toes you know as an example and then the app or my website could be the same thing could create a recording for you to listen to you say how long you want it for do you want background music whatever and and then after a couple of minutes or a minute you'd have this recording ready to listen to and you can download it if you want or stream it on the website or app and it's specifically

for you now probably a big good idea if stuff like that was made then it was then saved and put onto the the list of recordings for other people to listen to that would kind of make more sense wouldn't i suppose but see this isn't an option at the moment i don't think even if i well if i had an unlimited budget then i suppose anything's kind of possible because i could employ people to do it couldn't i i could like just have people creating stuff and yes i'll need this and i can in the

background to put it together or i don't know i'll look into it i'm interested in this because i quite like the idea of which at the moment is what i'm doing i'm telling chat gpt what i want exactly what i want and it's helping me to put it together and this suits my way of doing things because i suppose in a way it's i'm the artist i suppose i'm like an artist but i'm um unable i'm unable to paint like physically paint but i know but i'm able to paint with my mind so i'm verbally

painting i said i'd like a house there i'd like a tree there and i'm creating a piece of art let's say a painting for example and i quite like that i quite like that analogy that's kind of what i feel i'm sort of doing yeah yeah yeah that's what i'm doing don't you know that's what i'm doing i hope it works out i hope it's um it seems to be going quite well so far going quite well yeah so um i didn't mention vinnie did i he went to his first grooming session on friday and

i was concerned that he was going to be really like stressy and screaming and you know really not liking it and not allowing me to leave and all that stuff no i didn't actually expect to leave i thought i was going to be able to stay there and so he could see me and have a you know have that safety blanket of me being there well it turned out they send people away because the dogs are better behaved when the when their parents my and their daddies and mummies are not there watching the dogs behave

themselves better and apparently he did he was absolutely perfect he didn't even want to leave so i made a little video of myself in the park not in the park in the fields it's quite weird because at one point some bloke just appeared out of nowhere and started walking across the field towards me and then he turned back it's strange it's really and that's while i while i was doing the recording he just suddenly popped out of the bushes and just started walking like marching through the mud across the actual you know field um it's

a field filled like you know vegetables and stuff like that vegetables and hay and whatever and it's like what is he doing i just didn't know and then he was like turned around walked to the right for a bit and then turned around and walked back so i don't know if he was planning to come over to me or and change his mind i don't know very strange is yeah i don't know really for it was kind of weird the way just appeared out of nowhere and it's it is quite unusual to see people walking

through the field without a dog it's not illegal i've walked through the fields without a dog in the past but you know it's nice to go for a walk but most of the time people have got dogs so when you see someone on their own it's i don't know just sometimes there's always men it's always men never a woman if i've ever seen a woman walking through the fields on her own ever and i've looked and i've waited in the bushes but no no i've never never seen a woman in i tell you this is

weird right the morning which was friday i think the 23rd of november three years ago nearly three years ago my friend uh passed you know the one downstairs i went for a walk with vinnie in the fields and i heard shouting like help help and i was like where's it coming from and i kept hearing it and i was looking for it and it was so weird especially after what i came home to and i and i saw this woman come out of a ditch well it's like a yeah it's kind of like a ditchy

kind of area and she had a dog and it during that that period i was shouting are you okay are you okay hello and she came out i said could you not me she said no i said i'll just you were shouting help she said no i wasn't oh because i was shouting are you okay and then you popped up out of the you know out of the ditch that's a weird field isn't it people drop you know ditches and bushes men just appearing and walking away i noticed that with the park i see people

in the park and when i get to the park they're gone they're literally in the middle of the park on a bench and i get there they've dispersed just disappeared i sometimes think that i've just got a different time zone see i'm thinking oh i walked up and but i might be walking so slowly that they've actually just got to the park spent the entire afternoon there had a barbecue and then gone home and in that time that's what all i've done is just walk through you know into the park of a path i sometimes

see people walking into the park i look over and then i look back like a few seconds later and they're just they're gone again i don't know what to make of it i'm very very surprised maybe thinking about it maybe it's me maybe it's not a coincidence maybe it's an actual like there's that weird man again with the hawaiian shirts and the bright green shoes and now the big yellow bright yellow coats for winter fluorescent yellow jackets that to protect myself from the oh yeah so i still to this day don't know who we shout

and help because this lady said it wasn't her weird but a dog was um i think a dog got um she was trying to chasing a dog or whatever and i said uh well this she said what's your dog's name i said vinnie i said what's your dog's name she said help i said okay so to this day i'm still a bit confused about what happened oh dear yawny yawn so anyway i went for a walk about 45 minutes i was gone and made that video but it lasted about 20 minutes i think posted on

organized because i've got one i've got still got two hard drives external hard drives one i'm devoting just to the let me boy to sleep recordings and the other one to everything else now there's not a lot of room for much more of the let me boy to sleep recordings so i mean there's still room but there's not a huge amount so i'm gonna have to get myself another hard drive and i mean realistically i need to have a duplicate hard drive as well for my recordings so just one hard drive with my recordings on
