Hello and welcome to let me bore you to sleep on Sunday the 13th of September 2026. The time is 4.57 in the afternoon. Yeah.

4.57. To be honest. And you know, you all know that I don't like being honest. If I can help it.

To be honest, I haven't done a huge amount today. Because. Oh, I did a bit of a marathon of boxing.

So I watched a boxing last night in England. It was a misfits on the zone. That went on till about half past 10 maybe later.

And then I was up again about half one to watch the boxing in America. Which was the much bigger event. But I struggled to stay awake.

I really did. And after that I went back to bed. Now.

I woke up with an upset tummy. Actually, I'm not upset. I had a stomach ache.

When I woke up. About nine. I'd had my breakfast about three.

Two. Half two, three, something like that. In the morning.

I thought. It must be at least two and a half hours since I'd eaten before going back to bed. But I guess my food hadn't like settled and digested yet.

Because I woke up without feeling of all. Like. It's a certain feeling, isn't it? Just.

Because quite often when I talk about my stomach. I'm talking about below the belly button. But I'm talking about my actual stomach like above the belly button.

We know where the stomach is. We did anatomy at school. I didn't.

Or did I? I might have done a little bit of anatomy at school. I don't remember much of it. I did anatomy at college.

When I did the massage course. Because anatomy was part of it. And that was the hardest part.

Learning all the muscles. Attempting or pretending to learn. I don't know how you want to.

I didn't learn. And I knew where they were. I knew where the shoulder muscles were.

I knew where the back muscles were. And the pectoral muscles. And the leg muscles.

And I kind of knew which part was kind of doing what. But to give them their Greek or whatever names they have. Being given hundreds of years ago.

Is it Greek or Latin? I don't know. But either way. The medical world has a lot of weird words.

The same with medication as well isn't it? A lot of very strange words and names. I had one doctor. And I remember I think it was when I first moved here.

Not here but to the town. When I started doing my degree. So I had to move to a different town.

Needed a different doctor's surgery. So I signed up. And he started going into one like.

What medication do you want? I said I don't know. I know what I want but I don't know the names. The Latin names or whatever of it.

Well you've got to know the names of your medication. I insisted all of my customers. Patients.

Clients. Whatever you want to call them. All of them know the names of their medication.

And I thought to myself. I don't like you. I don't like this doctor.

That's a bit annoying. I've got to know all the names of the medications. I mean now I'm on statins and diabetes tablets.

I don't know what the names of the medications are for that. I can't remember all the different medications I'm on. Ridiculous.

Absolutely ridiculous. And he's long gone. I don't know what happened to him.

In fact I don't think I've even got a doctor. A specific doctor. Anyway did I say only listen when you can safely close your eyes? If I didn't I meant to.

And if I did. I didn't really mean to say it twice. But I guess twice is better than not saying it at all.

Isn't it? Yes it is. I remember about 1997. I was going through a bit of a difficult emotional period.

A bit of a low period. And I was talking like that. Separating each word.

Like that. It was almost like complete anger. Yes.

How can I help you? He said Mike Reed. The comedian. He was on EastEnders.

That sounded like. He looked angry. And even when he was smiling he looked.

He looked angry. Like he was covering up his anger with a smile. And when he spoke he sounded like he was talking through gritted teeth.

Like my friend. That's not a good impression. I. And I've met some people like that.

And it's like just. Chill out baby. And what is it with.

Why do so many male politicians. Sound so whiny. Not like this.

You can hear him. So nasally. Now I've got the biggest nose in the world.

But I'm not nasally. You're not nasally. Maybe it's because I had my adenoids out.

You talk like. And I. What is that about. I've got a theory.

I've got a theory. Why. Some people get into politics.

It's because what else could they do. It's almost. They're not going to.

They don't fit in. They can't live a normal life. Because of their whiny voices.

No it's just. I just look at some of them. I'm not.

I'm not. I'm not really talking about politics. Just making fun of politicians.

Which I think is allowed. In fact it's compulsory I would say. Every now and then.

I only make fun of my own politicians. This is actually a big surprise. You may be surprised.

That other countries. I'm not focusing on any particular country here. But you may be surprised.

That there are other countries in the world. And other countries also have politicians. Wow.

Mind-blowing. Really. You mean it's not all about us.

No there's other countries in the world. They have leaders. And presidents.

And prime ministers. No. There's only one president.

No. No. There's other presidents around the world.

No. Yeah. I'm just in a weird mood.

Because I haven't had any sleep. I have had sleep. But not proper sleep.

Plus I waited up all night. To a very very very. Not unpredictable outcome.

But not welcome. Result. Of the boxing.

So Conor Benn. If you haven't seen. The Conor Benn.

Ryan Garcia fight. And you don't know the outcome. Then please switch it off now.

Because I'm about to talk about it. Yes I am. I'm going to talk about it.

Right now. So. It was a good.

It was a good build. The. The fight.

Before the main fight was. Uppertire. Who is the cruiserweight champion.

Well. Was the cruiserweight. He's a ring champion now.

And the Zuffer. The Zuffer. Champion.

The Zuffer belt looks like. Some kind of. I don't know.

Looks like something you see around an action man. Or a UFC. Or not UFC.

Wrestling. WWE. Wrestling.

WWF. That always amazed me. See you know WWF.

World Wrestling Federation. As it was called. They had to change their name.

Because the World Wildlife Fund. Took them to court. Or sued them or something like that anyway.

And they were forced to change their name. To the World Wrestling. WWE.

What's the E stand for. Egg. The World Wrestling Egg.

I literally can't think of more than one word. Beginning with E. The World Wrestling. Engine.

The World Wrestling. Ecosystem. What does the E stand for.

I don't know. WW. World Wrestling.

Edifice. Orifice. The World Wrestling.

Endoctrine. Endoctroscope. What could it be.

E. World Wrestling. I don't know. I can see like WWO.

World Wrestling Organisation. Because the WWF was the World Wrestling Federation. WWC.

World Wrestling Corporation. WWO. World Wrestling Organisation.

WWE. WWE. WWA.

World Wrestling Association. World Wrestling. MBO.

No. What could it mean. WWE.

World Wrestling. Entertainment. Maybe that's what it is.

Entertainment. I'm literally guessing because I don't know what it stands for. I'm just thinking.

I might have seen it on a poster. World Wrestling Entertainment. That would make sense because it is entertaining.

I used to love. Well I used to love WWF. It's the same thing isn't it.

But I used to love WWF. Back in the day. Not in the original day.

Not Hulk Hogan time. But for me it would have been Triple H. British Bulldog. The Undertaker.

Cactus Jack. The Rock. Steve Austin.

Trying to think of some of the others. There was a lot wasn't there. But those were like the main biggies.

Especially Triple H. He was like world champion about 700 times. Cactus Jack was the most exciting. Because he did the most ridiculous stunts.

And he was a crazy man. Very very exciting. The Rock was funny.

I used to love it when he'd say. He asked a question to his opponent. Do you like two eggs on your toast.

I want to go to answer. Well actually he said. I don't care how many eggs you like on your toast.

And he put his hand to his ear. And I don't know if you get people to repeat it or something. I think it was something like that.

I just remember him putting his hand to his ear. And listening to the audience. Which is weird.

Because there's always a lot of people in the audience. You think you'd be able to hear them. You would feel like you literally need to.

I mean does that help to hear things. If you put your hand to your ear like that. I don't know.

I imagine you need a full round cylinder type of thing. To really make the sound. To enlarge.

I think just having your hand cupped around your ear. I don't know if that would really make too much difference. But maybe I'm being pedantic.

I don't know. It's possible. Who else was in it? Who was that bloke that was.

So Hulk Hogan was retired at this point. He did make appearances. But there was another bloke that was around when Hulk Hogan was around.

And he used to still come around. And he was in his 50s or something. For a wrestler he was very old even then.

And he was a former huge star. And he'd come in and beat people and stuff. So you've got the Undertaker.

And what's his brother's name? The one on the motorbike. Or was that the Undertaker? And then you had Big Show of course. Oh my goodness.

Big Show. Loved Big Show. So big.

He was about 7, 8, 9, 10 foot tall. Absolutely huge. His voice used to make me tingle.

Which is weird. And you know, very big, very strong, very loud, very aggressive. But surprisingly an extremely gentle lover.

Apparently. So I've been told. So I'm trying to think what other wrestlers was about.

The British Bulldog. And he was an Olympic champion. No, was he? Or wasn't he? No, there was an American.

So the British Bulldog. He was from Manchester. His accent was getting more and more American as time went past.

Like a mixed Manchester American. Which is going to happen if you're living in another country. Although if you... I kind of have a little look on TikTok every now and then.

And the people that sit on TikTok. They just literally just sit there. And do nothing for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours.

And after about 5 hours of watching this I realise I'm doing the same. But they're earning money out of it. And sometimes I don't even know if they're English or American.

Because they'll be like. Hey, thank you. Oh, it's nice.

Thank you. Thank you so much. Oh, hello, Bob.

And then they'll start. Then they'll say. Yeah, I went to the shops earlier.

Like what? Thank you. Thank you. That's a thing.

That's kind of. That's spread around the UK. I've heard that for years now.

It's almost like people don't know they're doing it. But the American accent spread. And I think it's probably because of TikTok.

It's almost it's. Not on purpose. It's just kind of.

And I wonder if it's happened the other way around. Is there American people, young, younger people started to speak with. Using kind of English.

E sounding words. I don't know. I remember once being told that the reason Americans have the accent they have is because they don't open their mouths.

Because of all the dust from the deserts. And this is a linguistic program. It's not me being cruel.

It's just. But then you're not going to have deserts everywhere, are you? But it's very sandy and very windy in parts. So that's why there's an accent.

See, that's the thing. If I don't open my mouth quite as wide. So I say a sentence, for example.

The curtains need to be drawn. I need to wash the curtains because they're getting smelly. OK, that's me talking normally.

I need to wash the curtains because they're getting smelly. Or I need to change my underwear because I'm getting complaints from the neighbors. That's another one.

So I need to change my underwear because I'm getting complaints from the neighbors. So if I say that. But just imagine this sand blowing around.

And I kind of don't want that dirt to get in my mouth. Let's see if that sounds any different. I need to wash my underpants because I'm getting complaints from my neighbors.

Wow, it did. It didn't sound different to me. Do you ever see people that wake up and suddenly they have a different accent? And I'll be honest.

I find it interesting. Psychologically interesting. I wonder whether they're putting it on.

But I find it very interesting. But at the same time. And I do feel guilty because sometimes it's brought on because of a medical emergency.

I don't know why I shouted out emergency then. It's all brought on by some kind of a medical event. I find it hilarious just listening.

Because this woman woke up or something happened and she had a Chinese accent. And I just like other people have woken up with a French accent. Now has anyone woken up with an accent of someone they've never heard before? Like for me.

I'm trying to think of an accent I've never heard. It's quite hard in it these days with TV and stuff. Also living in.

I've met a lot of people from different cultures. I'm trying to think of an accent that I really don't know. I haven't really met many people from Canada.

So what's the Canadian accent like? Hello. I am from Canada. What is your name? Is that Canadian? I am from Canada.

I don't know. I don't know a lot of famous people from Canada. I'd like to go.

But the thing is going to places like Canada and America and Africa and India. Pretty much every country except here. And Ireland.

They seem to have wild animals. Like and I don't mean pigs or chickens or snails. I'm talking like bears and lions and tigers and sharks and things like that.

And I like the fact that we don't have that stuff except in zoos. And I pretty much not have them in zoos either. And anybody, anybody who has a snake in their house should be evicted from the country.

See, that's, I've got a list of people that should be kicked out of the country and that's one of them. There's probably someone listening to me. But I've got snakes and you seem like such a nice person.

But you're a bigot, aren't you? You're a bigot against snakes. I just don't like them. My friend downstairs had snakes.

Oh God. Like one went missing. It went missing honestly.

Yeah, you know, maybe talking about stuff like this isn't a good idea when you're doing a recording for sleep and relaxation. I'll stop then. And turned up in the freezer.

It's I. Yeah, I just don't. Some people are fascinated, fascinated with reptiles. And I know we've got no control over what fascinates us, do we? You know.

Unless, you know, it's generally acceptable. Unless it's something illegal and it goes against the popular opinion, then, well, that's disgusting. You're fascinated by that.

But either case, people don't have any choice about what fascinates them. Some people like true crime stuff. And I don't, I can't get my head around that.

Especially true crime podcasts to sleep to. How can that give... No words, seriously. I can't talk.

I don't get what is so fascinating about it. And then I watched a true crime documentary on YouTube. And it was so hard to stop watching.

So, especially when they show the whole thing. Like, you know, that police custody, 48 hours or whatever, things like that. Where they tell you right at the beginning.

That the person is guilty. They know they're guilty. The evidence is 1 million percent, you know.

So they're going to go and arrest them. The person's got no idea they're going to get arrested. And they're going to take them in for questioning.

Not even telling them that they're not arrested. They can just come in. Just help with our inquiries.

And they're told right at the beginning. We do have to record it. Remember, you can leave at any time.

Of course, at any point when they say, I want to leave then. Then they're going to get arrested, aren't they? So it's like, you can leave at any time. And no one ever says, OK, bye then.

Ta-ra for now. Ta-ra. People just sit there.

With their guard down. Oblivious. Joking.

Smiling. How can I be of help? Probably thinking about what they're going to have for lunch when they get home. Planning their next murder.

I don't know. And there's something gripping about all that stuff. And I don't like myself.

Afterwards. Because it's kind of disgusting. You know.

It's horrible. It's fascinating. I think from a psychological perspective.

I would say that most people are fairly interested in psychology. Even if they wouldn't admit it. Or even realise that they are.

There's kind of something interested in the human brain. And human behaviour. And human actions and stuff.

What drives people to do certain things. And especially watching someone lie. When you know what the truth is.

It's like a game show, isn't it? It's almost like watching Big Brother. Or watching, like, you know the truth. They don't.

It's like watching an episode of. Not Inspector Gadget. What's the bloke with one eye? He always used to come back into the room.

One more thing. One more thing. Oh.

Detective Falco. His name was Falco, wasn't it? Columbo. Columbus.

Columbo. So at the beginning of that, you know what's happened. Right at the beginning.

So you see. And you know who's guilty. And what they're guilty of.

And then you see him come along. Detective Columbo. Pretending he doesn't know.

Because he actually doesn't always know, does he? But it's like seeing him break the case. It's very fascinating. Very clever.

Yeah. Where was I going with that? Yeah, so I basically judge people like me. That's what happens in life.

I judge others that are just like me. But I don't want to watch stuff like that. So I kind of avoid looking at it.

But it just. There's something fascinating about watching someone lying. And acting normal.

So easily. So relaxed. Completely clueless that they're about to spend the next 25 years locked up.

You know what I mean? It's like, wow. They're never going to get to see their house again. They're never going to get to sit on their living room couch.

Or their settee. Watching television. Eating popcorn.

Ever again. And they don't know it. And all those things they were worried about earlier in the day.

Probably didn't matter. No, I do. I get fascinated by that stuff.

But I don't want to spend my time. Like watching it. Because there's so many of those types of shows like.

Nerdish she wrote and disliked. Honestly, there's so many. British shows on TV.

Where that is the subject. And I just wonder how did that subject became become entertainment. I don't get it.

I just don't. I used to watch it when I was young. Because that's what was on.

I literally. Would watch anything that was on TV. In fact, in.

Even up to the 90s. BBC one. Used to stop broadcasting nothing.

I TV did as well. About one o'clock. On one of the channels.

There'd be a little girl. Looking at. Like an easel board.

And add noughts and crosses on it. Something like that. And there'd be some music playing.

Or it just be. All night and for hours until six in the morning. I'd watch that.

I'd watch anything that was on. Even just a blank screen. I'd watch that.

Sometimes you just have repeated. Over and over again like little. Bits of other programs had been on.

It's like at the end of DVDs remember DVDs. I used to have. And.

Bits where you could click on and see extras. And it go through it. And it go through the next one.

Like 30 seconds of that. And then 30 seconds and next one. If you don't click that then 30 seconds and next one.

I'd watch that. Wouldn't click. I suppose my point is that I wasn't that fussy.

Why watched. Because there wasn't. I'm not saying there wasn't any good stuff on TV.

Because I didn't complain at the time. But outside of like. I think late at night there wasn't.

A huge amount on. I'm thinking like late 80s early 90s. Yeah there wasn't.

I mean. I think BBC1 used to come to a stop and BBC2 used to come to a stop. But I think ITV used to keep going.

Maybe Channel 4 did. I'm not 100% sure. Because I used to watch boxing on ITV.

Like in America on a Saturday night. Well it was Sunday morning early morning. And that would be going on from like.

2 o'clock till 4. Something like that. But I don't know if they did that all through the week or not. I'm not sure.

But then back then. Then then back then. I didn't used to stay up all night.

Because I was working during the day. And. You know night time was for sleeping.

Although. I have had night shift jobs. And probably my favouritest night shift job ever.

Yeah. Yeah my favourite one was when I worked in the meter factory. Because I wasn't tired when I worked there.

I don't really know why. I mean I was young. I was what was I 19.

I didn't. I was sleeping. I was getting my proper sleep during the day.

And. I was living a very basic life. So that was cool.

I wasn't going out or really doing anything. Didn't use a drink at all back then. Yeah I liked that job.

Unfortunately it all came to an end. They put me on to a different shift. Alternative 6 in the morning till 2 in the afternoon.

Then 2 in the afternoon till 10 at night. You know. Every 2 weeks I'd change back to the original one.

And it was like nah. Not for me. I need.

A degree of stability. I think I could have managed if it was 6 till 2 everyday. I say that but I wouldn't have turned up.

In reality. Which is what happened. I didn't turn up.

Because I couldn't. I couldn't force myself out of bed. 2 till 10.

Yeah. I'm up by then. I'm not still going to be in bed at 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

Thinking oh god get up. I don't want to get up. That wouldn't be the case back then.

But I wasn't getting up at 5 o'clock in the morning type. Now however I am. I suppose the other thing.

The good thing about it. It was very light in there. And I did work during the summer.

So it was also light outside very early. So I'd go to work at 10. Still light outside or just.

Only just getting dark. As I was walking there. So maybe I'd leave at half 9. Quarter past 9. So it might still be light outside.

Or you know still lightish. And when I was leaving in the morning it was light. Even though I was leaving at 6. If I'd done the like winter time.

Then it would have been dark going there and dark coming home. But I wasn't there long enough. I do wonder though.

I just think about my life and I wonder. I mean. It doesn't make sense because this wouldn't have been possible anyway but.

The idea of maybe just staying working there. Working night shift. For my lifetime you know for my working life.

The option wasn't there and the place closed. And if I go through the different jobs I've had. How many places have closed.

Or been sold. Closed down. Made redundancies.

Being closed. Sold off to someone else. Whatever.

So. The very first. My very first job.

I guess was working in the. The kitchen. In the bakehouse.

In the restaurant. On the seafront. That closed.

It's gone. Then I worked in. For a paper round for a shop.

Just gone. Still a paper shop but it's a different. You know it's had loads of different owners.

Different names. So the person that owned that is gone. I worked in the chip shop.

Gone. I worked in. The factory that made.

Meters three times. Gone. That's gone.

Completely gone. I think it's like flats now. I worked at a. Meat factory place.

In London. It's gone. Worked for an agency.

Gone. Worked for a bakery. Gone.

Worked at a comedy club. Gone. Worked for.

Worked at Elephant Castle. That place is gone. Not Elephant Castle.

But the place I worked at. I'm pretty surely. Security company I worked for is gone.

I just got a feeling that wouldn't still be running now. That was 30 years ago. I didn't get a feeling that they really worked very well together.

The two owners. One liked me. One didn't.

I'm not saying that's a reason why the company shouldn't work. I mean they should have both. They should have both disliked me.

Shouldn't have been just one liking me. What other place. Right.

Out of three insurance companies I worked for. Two are gone. The last one I worked for and the one before that.

So the last one I worked for is before. That finished 2013. Blimey.

And the one before that is. I stopped working there in 2007. A couple of months before I started going to university.

The two evolution shops I worked at. One in the town before and one in the town that I live in now. Both gone.

In fact the whole. The whole company is gone. And what other places have I worked.

I've worked in so many different places. That I forget. Sometimes.

Probably loads of places that I did like. That I turned up at. That I did little bits and bobs of kind of gone but.

In that town. Oh yeah. Where the.

The company that I worked for. It was like a tank freight company where I used to. I worked in an office when I was.

18 gone. The pub I worked in. When I was 18.

Gone. Some would say perhaps on bad luck. It's like.

95% of the places I've worked at have now closed or dissolved. I think one hotel I worked in has been demolished. It's now a. Holiday Inn.

Yeah. It is. Holiday Inn now.

I used to work in a kitchen there. Where else. I'm just going through the jobs I had during that little period.

The laundry place. I don't know. The dry cleaning place.

I mean. There's no reason for that to have been shut down because. I don't know.

Obviously the ins and outs of the place. But. It seemed like quite a good and well set up place.

But again. That's. Nearly.

That's like nearly 40 years ago. 30. 38 years ago or something.

What other jobs. There was the care home I worked at when I was a cook. For two weeks or a week to one or two weeks.

That may well still be there because some care homes just. Plod on feet forever don't they. Forever and ever.

And that town was. It was an old people's place then. Because near the seafront.

And it was. It's quite a nice place to live. You know if you're.

If you're elderly and. Because. Someone pointed out.

Watching a video or something and. They pointed out that actually seafronts are quite good for. People.

Elderly people and maybe don't have great mobility. Because. With the most seafronts in the UK.

Every few feet you've got a bench to sit on. And I thought yeah. That's true.

I mean when I lived there I was very able bodied and. If I sat down it's because I just wanted to sit down. I never needed to sit down.

I'm not saying I never needed to sit down when I was younger. But I ever needed to. But not through.

Exhaustion necessarily. If you know what I mean. Or through.

Physical discomfort. Just. Sit down because.

I like to sit down and look out at the sea and. Not have anything obstructed my vision. It was nice to just look in a distance and not have anything there.

I don't think we've got any of those windmill things. Out in the sea. Like some places do.

Those horrible windmill. They ruin. Absolutely ruin the beaches.

Thanks Vinnie. Is. Is.

Is. I don't know. I don't know what it is about them that I just.

Because the first time I saw any of those when I went to Lowestoft. I was doing a. What was I doing. Reflexology course.

And. I went down to the beach and. I think they've got like a water.

Water section where they got dolphins and stuff there. But anyway. I went.

Yeah I went down to the beach and I could not believe. It was a beautiful beach. I did believe that.

And. Lots of sand. It's a great beach.

One of the best beaches I've been on really. And I knew that from childhood. I've been to Lowestoft.

I've been to. Bury St Edmunds. Is it Bury St Edmunds.

Is where's Pleasurewood Hills. Is that Bury St Edmunds. Pleasurewood Hills.

Bury St Edmunds. No I don't think it is. So Lowestoft.

What's the other place near Lowestoft. Anyway I've been all around those areas. Because.

I had family. Dotted around. And we used to go and visit the family at weekends.

And during holidays stuff when I was a kid. So I've been to. Pretty much everywhere Norfolk Suffolk.

East. East part of the country. The only parts of the country I never really visited as a kid.

Was North. Although I did live in Newcastle. And so.

But after that. After the age of 7. Unless we travelled through that way. I don't think I ever went there.

Went to Liverpool when I was 23. To get the ferry to the Isle of Man. And I might have also gone to Liverpool.

To get a ferry to Ireland. A couple of times. But that was.

A coach journey took me there. I'm not sure if it was either Wales. Or it was.

Liverpool. Been to Wales. Quite a few times over the years.

When I was a kid. That used to be our favourite camping destination. And also been there a few times as an adult as well.

Yes I have. Haven't I? You've never been to Wales have you? What do you mean you don't want to go there? That's rude. Why? It's not smelly.

Finny. Stop it. He's so rude.

He knows he's saying stuff that's wrong. But he just says it anyway. They speak funny.

No they don't. They speak fine. They speak like this.

They do. I like the Welsh accent actually. I do.

Always have done. Don't know why. I don't know.

Just. It's a nice accent. Some accents in the UK.

I find. I can. When I was younger.

I used to struggle. When I was a lot younger. I struggled to understand what was being said.

Now with Liverpool accent. I used to be a big fan of Brookside. So I was able to twist my ears around what was being said.

And then because I had a Scottish friend at school. I was. To be fair.

He was from Glasgow. His mum was from Glasgow. His dad was from Edinburgh.

And he had. Kind of a mix. But he was full.

Proper Scottish accent. My friend. And.

It took me a little while. But I kind of was able to. Manipulate my eardrums to.

Like. Understand what he was saying. And then when I was.

In my early 20s. I met my friend Andre. Who was Irish.

And. I mean. I ended up moving to Ireland for a while.

So I was able to kind of. Concentrate in on. Some of what was being said.

Some. Not everything. But I kind of got the general gist of it.

And it wasn't. It's not even. I think the same with a lot of situations.

It's not. The accent. It's the speed.

Of the words. So. Like with Mexican.

If someone. Mexican was speaking. I'd be able to understand.

If they slow down. And I've spoken to Mexican people. And.

You know. If people speak to me. Generally they slow down.

Because I'm so slow. Some people find it very frustrating. That's when I slow down even more.

But generally. I. I'm okay. You know.

I can get used to it. But. So many accents.

People speak. Really quickly. Including the UK as well.

But I do wonder why. Some countries speak. So fast.

When they. You can hear when they talk. In their own language.

That it's like super fast. Like this. If you heard me talking now.

It's not going to sound fast. There's no. There's no way in the world.

That it could sound fast. Really. I suppose.

But. This isn't slow. This is.

I don't think I talk particularly slowly. But. If you listen to.

Some other people. And. Is it.

So. So let's say if you got a sentence. Hello.

My name is Doris. And I like to dress up as a clown. So.

That sentence. In. Different country.

Would it have more words. So that's. That's why.

You have to speak quicker. I just whistled then. Is that what it is.

I don't know. I'm genuinely. I'm quite interested.

Not interested enough to Google it. It should be quite easy. Wouldn't it.

But just. Oh. My website.

Has translation. Did you know that. So the.

Transcript. Can be translated. To 10 different languages.

I'm also. When the price is right. When the price comes down.

I'm going to. Offer. Me.

My clone voice. Talking in other languages. Maybe just for the hypnosis.

Recordings. But. We'll see.

As the quality increases. Which it has. I mean.

If you. There's a. A company called 11 labs. And it's part of AI.

Open AI. Which has chat GPT. And.

Kind of other things. We suppose another one. Which is the audio.

Thing. So. If you go back every.

Month. It's improved. Possibly even every week.

So. The cloned voice. Is going to improve.

And you can add. An ad and keep like. Adding more recordings.

And improving it. I've got about. 100.

Maybe 150. Yeah. Oh.

Maybe 100 hours. Worth of me talking. Maybe more.

To clone my voice. To improve it. So eventually.

It'll be. It all really sounds like me. But it's not necessarily.

Gonna have the same. Continuity. And pronounce the words.

Correctly. Not that I do either. But you know what I mean.

It might be a little bit different. But there will come a time. That's probably not that far away.

When. It might be. From.

The. Me. I mean I've got the.

It's my clone voice. So I'm. I've got the copyright for that.

And. I've also got. Thousands.

And thousands. And thousands of hours. To prove that this is my voice.

So that's. It's not too bad I suppose. I've got proof on that one.

But 11 labs. Is. It's not cheap.

I don't want to moan about it being expensive. Because you know they're all in it to make money. Obviously.

But it's quite difficult. In times when everyone wants to make money. And they're just all charging.

The expenses are going up. And it's costing more. Sometimes it costs less.

Then it costs more. Which is a. Bit of a contradiction. So I'm building my website.

Using AI. And it's saving me. Thousands of hours of time.

And. Multiple. Multiple thousands of pounds.

Cash. You know. To spend.

Maybe. Any. Who knows.

Could be 20. 30 grand. It would cost me to build a website.

That I'm currently building. But then all the other things. That then.

To make that website really good. It's going to cost. Cost thousands of pounds.

If I. If I want it to be the way I want it to be. So. There's no way at the moment I can do that.

So I'd like the option. Of. People getting into the website.

They click on. You know. Whichever recording they want.

And. Whichever language they want. And they can listen to me.

Doing. That recording. But have it.

Changed. Have it dubbed into my. Into a different.

Different language. But with my voice. And also.

Pronounced correctly. That itself would cost. Probably thousands of pounds a week.

It probably would cost. Blimey. Thousands of pounds a day probably.

If I had people from around the world. Which I do. Visit in.

So. You know. It's a non-starter at the moment.

The other thing. Is. I'd quite like to offer people.

The option of. Choosing different music. Different background music.

And. To just have the music only. No.

No talking once the recording is done. Once the end of the. Hour and a half.

Or hour is done. There's not then me just yabbering on. It could just be.

The music. Or. You could choose.

From different things. You could choose. Well.

I want ten hours of counting. Or five hours of counting. Three hours of.

Positive affirmation. After the recording ends. I also have it.

Set up so you can. You can change the volume. Of the music compared.

To the volume of me. To suit your own specific. Needs.

Or wants. Requirements. And you can set that as a template.

For all future recordings. So you listen to. So you can play around.

And you can choose from. Thousands of different music. Backgrounds.

And. You see what I mean. It's just to make it more.

More fun and. Give you an opportunity to. Change.

And to create your own. Personal style. Or you could search for something.

Say well I want to listen to recording. It was. Particularly.

This way you can have certain moods. Because I'm such a moody kid. Sometimes I can be quiet.

Up and other times I can be a little bit. A bit growly I guess. I don't mean to be.

But you know it's this different moods. It's different levels of energy. When I do these recordings.

And you know you could go to. You could choose ones or. You could look up a subject.

So like subject owner. It's only recordings where he talks. About footwear.

Or like feet. You know just something weird like that. Or.

We just haven't heard enough. About that chip shop. From 1986.

We need to hear more about it. Yeah. I've probably spent.

Imagine how many hours I've spent. Talking about that chip shop. Or talking about.

Andre. Or Vinnie. Or talking about.

School. Going to school. I don't know.

So yeah that's kind of what I'm. Looking at doing. I guess I just need a sponsor.

But. Someone that can just sponsor. Like proper just like there you go.

You know like the. These people. Politicians.

Like political parties getting like a hundred million given to them. Give it to me instead. I can make these podcasts.

That'd be nice. And just keep it free. Keep it all free.

And just. Yeah. It'd be good.

Not really thought it through but. Still sounds. Groovy.

In a way. Sort of. Because I forget that there are people out there that.

Aren't actually financially well off. It's just I don't know anybody like that. So maybe.

One day someone in that situation. Possibly will benefit from. What I do.

Or what I've been doing for 20 years. Or maybe someone that they care about has benefited from it. And that person you know the person might think.

Well this is actually a worthwhile thing. I want to make sure this keeps going. And.

Allow Juicy JJ to actually have. A good quality of life while he continues to do it. Forever and ever and ever.

Yeah. Yeah that sounds good. You never know.

I just I forget. I assume everyone. I don't assume it but just.

I suppose I do. Unconsciously just assume everyone's. In the same situation as me.

Just you know. Living from week to week and. Some people aren't.

Some people have. For whatever reason. They've.

Done really well and succeeded in. Or. I'm not saying that having money is the only way to succeed and be successful because it isn't.

Look at me for example. And I'm not being. I'm not telling a joke here by the way.

I mean really. Technically. I've kind of been quite successful.

When I used to joke. About 10 years ago or 11 years ago when I moved in there. When I met Luke I said I'm the most.

Successful failure. You'll never meet. And he laughed.

And he said what do you mean and I said well. I got all these thousands of people listening to me around the world. And.

I literally until now I was living in a tiny little room. Damp room. With a sink as a toilet.

Apparently according to the landlord that wasn't what it was for. And. It's just like.

That's how it's been. But I've moved away from the failure bit. I'm not not a failure.

I think of. I think I've done all right all things considered. All things considered.

I think of. I generally don't like to use the word successful or. Big up myself you know.

Give myself praise. But I think in some ways. Based on I mean I don't get a lot of.

Positive feedback occasionally. Not a lot. It's rare.

But it's usually good. I mean. Most positive feedback would be good wouldn't I suppose hence the name.

But you know when it comes to feedback it's generally quite positive. I get occasional negative ones. But that's normally just because I've made changes or.

Without telling anyone. Thinking it was a good idea. But.

I guess I'm now building. Towards. Now that I've spent so much time.

Creating this new website which does look quite similar to the one that's already up but there's a lot more there. I think. And going through all my recordings and you know I'm still uploading.

Onto playlists for the podcasts. It's a very long journey. And going through all my recordings.

Going through different podcasts and different files. I ended up having to chuck away one of my hard drives because it's basically broken. Or it's temperamental so.

It's because I've dropped it on the floor too many times. I literally had loads of stuff on there and I couldn't get it to work. So I've managed to like wiggle.

The knob that went into it. And it connected to the laptop so I just left it where it was. And I downloaded everything from there onto a different hard drive.

And I spent about 10 hours doing that. Maybe longer actually. And eventually.

Well it was all night pretty much. Eventually. I got it emptied.

I was like yay. Thank goodness for that. So that's now.

I've not chucked it out yet but it's. Pretty much broken and it's wide open. That it shouldn't be.

So that. Now I've got two hard drives. It's mainly.

It's just all recordings whether videos. Audios. Or images.

Of the recordings. The podcast episodes. There's a few pictures of family and stuff.

And. There's my songs that I made. 30 years ago.

I think they're on there. Yeah pretty much nothing else that is it. Audios and videos.

Images from the iPad. Or the iPhone. I guess from the past that are kind of on there.

Which is weird because I quite like to find something. New. That I haven't seen for years but there isn't anything.

It's just. Really. Basic stuff.

Although I think I did find a few pictures from Thailand on there. I think a little video of me on the beach and stuff. Which I think I did post on Facebook anyway.

That's it. And. You alright Vin? You alright darling? You alright my little darling? You're beautiful.

Oh did I tell you I've got an appointment to take Vinny. To get his nails cut on Friday. He's going to have a nice wash and brush.

So he can have a bath. Have a nice brush down. And he's going to have his nails cut.

A nice little grooming session. He's never had it before. And.

I was going to say he's looking forward to it. But obviously he's not. In fact he's not talked to me for about.

Well since I told him about it. He's not really. You know.

He's not happy. The thing is. The person doing it.

He knows. So that's how we found out about it. And he likes her a lot.

So I think he's going to be fine once he gets there. And he'll be fine once it's done as well. It has to be done.

Because yesterday. I think it was yesterday. He.

I probably mentioned this. He got his nail caught on the settee. Because the settee is falling apart.

It's all ripped at the bottom. Like the back of the. You know the cushion you sit on.

It's all ripped at the back of that. And. I mean this is probably about 20 years old.

I'd say this settee. It came from next door. To my friend.

He ended up with it. Because they wanted to get a new one. He had it.

Then he gave it to me. So it's old. Really old.

And. Kind of. It's not.

Hugely comfortable anymore. Because it's falling apart. But it's okay.

It's a recliner. Settee. So it's.

It's not too bad. But it's a little bit. It's not.

You know. It's. It's not a newborn baby.

Let's say. It's an old. It's older than me.

I think. Because in sofa years. I think 20 years is probably about 90 isn't it.

In sofa years I'd say. But yeah he got his nail caught on it. And.

That was something. I mean I was already in process of getting him the. Appointment to get his nails done.

But I was waiting to hear back from them. I think that they're on holiday. Which is why they got their phone turned off.

And they're only contacting me through Facebook. And there's a big lag between. You know messages.

I think they're on holiday abroad. That's what I think. And I'm going to ask them.

When I see them on Friday. But he. They also haven't got a website.

Hardly any. Online presence. And.

It would be so easy to get them online presence. Really. Because I've done all that.

In the past for what I do. Also for my business when I had. My counseling and my hypnosis stuff.

You know. And the website. No website.

I found that strange. The amount of people that still. Even now.

I mean they're new. But even like companies. They don't have a website.

Or their website hasn't been updated in like. Forever. I know the well.

The theory now is we don't need websites anymore. Because you just need. If you're going to Google you put in whatever.

And it should just come up. Your details of what you are. Yeah but then.

What if they want further information. You know. It's OK to you put my name into Google.

And yeah loads of stuff comes up. The Apple podcasts. My website generally at the top as well.

But. You know if I didn't have a website. Apple might come up.

But they might be thinking. Well what about Spotify. What about.

What else does he do. Has he got a YouTube channel. And.

What different things does he have. So yeah. Website is.

Especially with as much stuff as I've got. I remember when I had. I think about.

20 recordings. And even that was too many. I thought oh this is going to get out of hand.

I got 20 recordings. I have to start storing these. So if I lose them.

That's 20 recordings I'll have lost. I was good at maths back then. And.

I had no idea I'd end up with. So many. Too many to even tell you how many I've got.

Unless I counted them then I could probably. But there's quite a few bits missing. That I need to.

Some things I can find. Where there's the. The original.

Recording. With no music. It's not available.

The long. The long version without music. The only version is the 10 hours.

With no music. So what I have to do. Is download that.

Edit that one. And then make six versions out of that. Which is quite a bit of a process to do.

But. That's the fine tuning part. At the moment I'm still into the.

Maths upload. Still into the. Still into the tuning.

The individual web pages and. Making changes from. Throughout the whole thing.

But definitely. You know come. This week coming.

So what's it 13th today. 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th. 18 being a Friday.

So I've got five days. To. Fine tune.

All the different. Podcast playlists. And I'm getting there.

I'm getting off now. Having sort of. Filled most of them up.

It's not true actually. There's loads to do. I just.

Yeah there is a lot to do. But I'm getting there. I am getting there.

The thing is. Even though I know there's missing recordings. A lot of people.

Possibly wouldn't even notice it. Because when you got. Choice of thousands.

But I care. I notice it. So.

Yeah. I want everything to be. Nice spick and span.

So I'm going to go. I shall. My plan to do another recording tomorrow.

So thank you for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself. Because you do deserve to be happy.

Be gentle with yourself. You deserve to feel safe. Lots of love.

Bye.
