All of my latest recordings are on there as well as lots of older ones. Lots and lots. Right I hope you're well and as you know if you listen to this podcast you'll know I'm trying to do something a little bit different each day.
You'll also know that there may be the odd background sound and it sounds like a cat it's out there doing a very loud something. But I like to keep, let's see the recordings I do are not sterile you know it's I don't do them in a recording studio you know. Admittedly I don't want lots of background sound and lots of disruptions but there may be the odd background sound because it's live.
I'm recording live as it were. So this today this recording we're going to focus on an idea okay an idea I would say a factual idea that maybe we forget something that maybe we already know but we forget but once you start to remember you realize and notice the effects of this fact in your body and in your mind from a sense of feeling more relaxed and peaceful.
Now when we breathe you breathe in relaxation.
When you breathe in your body feels relaxed and that oxygen relaxes your body. I mean that oxygen well as we all know keeps us alive but that gets sent to your brain which relaxes your brain. You know I mean you basically hold your breath if you hold your breath don't do it now but if you've all done it.
I used to do it when I was a kid. When you hold your breath that's probably the least relaxed you'll ever feel in your life. It's you know so breathing relaxes us.
Breathing in and breathing out that gets rid of tension. It gets rid of stress that leaves those chemicals that are connected with stress leave without out breath. Now saying this you know you could think oh in that case the more I breathe the the more I breathe in the more relaxed I'll get.
No no it doesn't work like that. Or the more I breathe out the more you know if I breathe out quickly lots and lots of times the stress will leave. No you don't need to do that either.
Don't need to breathe in lots of times quickly because that will do the opposite. Because then your body would get overwhelmed so so and you may think oh so I can control my breathing I'll start breathing in purposefully and noticing the sense of relaxation that you feel. No not even that.
Not not in this case.
It's really a case of the idea the fact that when you breathe in you breathe in relaxation and part of that oxygen that comes into your body when you breathe in goes towards healing you goes towards the processes of your body that heal you and relaxes all parts including those that are maybe where there's some discomfort of whatever level that relaxation goes to that part as well as whatever you need pain relief uh healing it all goes to the places that it's needed and breathing out extracts that tension or physical discomfort from your body and gets rid of it out of your body through your breath and just chucks it out.
But the good thing about it is you don't have to do anything.
You can notice how you feel as you breathe naturally. So there's no controlling of your breath there's no manipulation of your breath it's just perhaps being aware of your breathing but you don't even need to do that because maybe you're choosing to focus on the result of your breathing in that healing relaxation which spreads through your bloodstream to the different parts of your body sending those messages from your brain down your spinal cord again into those parts of your body and you're ready instantly in a second or less than a second to relax because every part of you your body
your mind your brain every organ is affected by the oxygen that you breathe in naturally and you breathe out any of that negativity that was in there just naturally exhales with you just travels out because the more relaxed you feel the more positive you start to be and the more positive you are the less fun you are to be around to those negative parts the negativity in you doesn't want to be around the positive you so that positive parts they want to get out and they do they leave through the
exhalation through the out breath because they don't want any part of positivity that's like their kryptonite and the more relaxed you feel naturally because this process is happening 24 hours a day every day of your life you just maybe weren't aware of it before but now now that you're aware of this healing relaxing process of breathing in and exhaling negativity and stress and tension it's impossible to forget and it becomes more noticeable to you and even though technically nothing has changed because this was happening anyway it feels as though a
lot has changed it's almost as if when you open your mind up to this idea it then almost presses the on button presses the maybe the acceptance button the belief button you accept that this now happens you believe that this is what is happening and then you start to notice it more you start to notice the feelings of relaxation just happening naturally the feelings of comfort in parts of your body that maybe were uncomfortable before due to whatever reason and it almost feels like that healing energy coming from the in-breath
is targeting those parts of your body that need a little extra help the parts that require more relaxation that require more negativity being extracted and broken down and then breathed out because sometimes there's you know with a physical discomfort it's a place where negativity can hang out really it's almost like a perfect place somewhere where there's a possibility of misery and discomfort and negativity loves that but it can't compete with the amount of positivity that you naturally have within you we just didn't realize this before and when you notice that
actually this sense of positive relaxation is continuously entering your body and your mind through your breath through your in-breath in its own time in its own way but continuously more healing more relaxation and more comfort continuously continuously entering your body when you just focus on this idea you can notice almost like a transformation a transformation of how you feel it feels nice relaxed knowing that from now on every now and then occasionally you'll just notice that when you breathe in that that relaxation is entering your body that positive healing comfort is entering your body fill in your lungs and spread in through your veins your blood system into every part of your body healing,
relaxing, calming relaxing and calming and healing and every time you breathe out any stresses or tension panic or pain is released and it feels really, really comfortable really, really calming, calming your body and your mind calming your body healing your mind and now remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy lots of love bye
