Hello, hello, welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. This is Let Me Bore You To Sleep. And today is Vinnie, Vinnie making lots of noise under the desk.

What is today? It's Thursday the 20th of November 2025. So I am recording this on TikTok. I'm also recording it on my recording also on camera because TikTok doesn't save the videos.

And I'm also recording it on audio separate. So what I'll do is I'll get the camera, the audio, put it together, make a video, and then take the audio out, put it on the podcasts, put the video onto YouTube. And just basically give myself loads and loads of work.

So you can join me on this little, it's basically, if you don't know what I do, then it's an insight into the back, like the background of what I do. Hi, Dylan. And I've never made, it's not true, I have made recordings that are live.

I've done live recordings before on Instagram, done live recordings, possibly even on TikTok. Years ago, I've done live recordings on Facebook. But what I haven't done, and I want to see whether or not I can share this with the living room.

Because if I can, it might be a little bit easier. Oh, it's gone all fuzzy. Right.

I can see myself. The thing is, I thought I might be able to see the writing a little bit easier for anyone that leaves a message. So yeah, so I'm doing this.

And I've also got my laptop here to have a look. So this is number episode Let Me Bore You To Sleep episode. Really? Why are you taking me out of that? I'm definitely not a multitasker.

No. This is number 1493. So last week, I did last Thursday, I did Thursday throwbacks.

And it was TV shows from 1983. So today is TV programs or TV shows from 1984. So I'm going to do really just talk about them.

Just talk about my memories and just have a little look really. And then what I'll do is I will put it all together and upload it. 1984.

Now there's not a lot of change from 1983. Oh, spitting image made its debit on the 26th of Feb 1984. Chrissy Oh, is that Chrissy that I know? Hello, Chrissy Oh.

So I will also be saying hello to people who are on here as well. But if for any reason I cough or splutter or have any barks, I can't control that on the live. But I will edit that out on the podcast on the video.

Okey doke. Oh boy, Dylan said goodbye. He didn't stay for long.

Oh, boy. So now there's no one listening. Oh, well.

So today, I've been having some weird dreams lately. And no, not those kind of weird dreams. I've been having some weird dreams where it's almost as if I'm fighting myself.

It's a little bit like you know, that scene in Superman three, where Clark Kent fights evil Superman in the junkyard. It's a bit like that. Your fave weirdo joined.

So I'm guessing, I don't know when you say weirdo, I think of Sebastian, but I don't know if that's the correct weirdo that I'm thinking of because I got a stalker called Sebastian. And if he's watching this, he'll be very angry with me, hopefully. So thing is, who is it? Who is it? Who is it? Who is listening? Most of the people on here just skipping through because I'm not going to fit the criteria for a people's viewing pleasure.

And to be fair, I wouldn't fit the criteria for my own viewing pleasure. If I'm honest, I don't think I'd, I'd come across what everyone come across, but I would I don't think I'd like come onto this page and see me and think, I think I want to stick around. So it's fine, you know, keep scrolling, if that's what you want to do.

I got no control. But I thought it'd just be nice to do this a little bit different. Hi, Jax, say 67.

Jax. So okay, I can't be too distracted by this. I'll say hello to people, but I do have to focus on the recording.

Because this is a podcast. It's not a live podcast, although it is live. But it won't be presented live when I release it, you know.

It's quite weird because I've got the camera, I've got my phone over there, my iPad here and my laptop there. And then on a big screen on the TV, I've got the iPad mirroring this TV. And it's really strange going to call up like that, I realize because I can see myself looking up.

But I can't see myself looking up when I look at the screen, because when I look at the screen, my eyes are back down again. But when I look up at the TV, my eyes are looking up and it looks weird. Just looks weird.

So we got in there, we got five people. Hello. So basically, what I do is I bore people.

I normally say only listen when you safely close your eyes. If you're listening live, this is not a sleep recording. Okay, if you're listening on if you're watching, rather, it's not a sleep recording.

It's just me talking. But what you might gain is some comfort, a little bit of calmness, a little bit of a little bit, a little bit of relaxation, at the very least. So that's what I can offer you.

And if you follow me anyway, what I do, then this might be a chance to put a face to the voice. And you get to traumatize yourself. Because you might have been spending months, maybe years listening to my voice at night.

Picture me as your eye, the ideal human. And then you see me for the first time and possibly you're screaming and running down the street yelling help help. I don't know.

He tricked us. He tricked us. We thought he was handsome.

I never said I was handsome. Actually, I have said that a few times. So yeah, I do like to lie.

Lying is good. Don't don't ever underestimate the power of lies. So yeah, this Superman scenario.

I mean, in the dream, I'm not Superman or Clark Kent. But there seems to be a kind of battle between good and the good and bad side of me. Almost like the the bad sides trying to get out and the good sides trying to kind of say no.

So I've had a few dreams like that. And it's been strange. Not quite sure what's going on there.

Some kind of psychological thing, no doubt. So yeah, it's weird. I've not used this microphone in ages and ages and ages and ages.

And I've not recorded using my recording studio for ages either. In fact, I've not worn this top since I washed it and look, why do the every time I wash it, the sleeves go back? Or maybe? Oh, I can't I can't believe this happened. So I'm meeting my dad tomorrow for we're just meeting him for lunch or breakfast or something.

I don't see him very often. And this none of this is relevant to the story. It's kind of a little bit of back.

You know, filler probably to the story. I mean, the reason yes, there's no reason there's no point to the story. But I needed to wash my jumper like I got a big thick cardigan that my friend Luke gave me.

So it means something to me because I lost him a couple of years ago. And we went hiking or anything. And I just you know, he just got lost, got separated.

No, I mean, he's gone. And how old are you? asks G. I'm. Thank you.

Thank you for that. Yeah. Rest in peace, Luke.

Definitely. My good old my good friend is how old am I am 55. I can't even do the old bullshit.

You know, what did I swear? I don't normally swear on the podcast. Apologies. Oh, he was your friend as well.

He was. You know what? Everybody loved him. I know.

That's the thing. Everybody. I don't normally talk.

I never mentioned his name while he was alive. When I did podcasts, I'll talk about my friend downstairs. That was it.

I'd always say, my friend downstairs. So they knew who he was. And they knew about some of our adventures, you know, when we got stuck in town, or when we couldn't get a taxi home, or, you know, all kinds of weird things that would happen in life, you know.

But it's only when he when he left, which is nearly two years now, that I kind of told my audience what his name was, just his first name, just told me his name is Luke. So I miss him. How is your Fort Cosworth holding up? I haven't got a Fort Cosworth.

And yeah, I do miss Luke. It's, it's weird, because I literally, I mean, if you if you know, I don't know, if you know me, if you do, then you might know the people. I think I got some breakfast in my beard.

Oh, my goodness. I'll leave that later. I got your pension yet.

That is rude. That is very rude. And I just realised who it is now.

I can just about see a picture. I can't very well my eyes, but I think I know who it is. And that is rude.

Very rude, very rude. Pension. I don't get my pension till next month.

No, I've got I feel I got my pension at 67. I'm 55 now. So 12 years, and I'll be officially old.

Hi, all in all in. I tell you the weird thing, though. I can't remember what I was talking about.

You got your pension. Well, it can't be who I'm thinking of then. Who is it? Daddy.

Hi, Daddy. Am I your daddy? Oh, I wonder where you was. I've been looking for you everywhere.

Where did you go to? And I can't remember what I was talking about now. It's gone. It's gone.

I've got Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, my dad, my dad left when I was 57. Wow, it's I do I worry about my dad now because he's he's now 79 to be 80 next year. And I had a neighbor uncle sausages that lived opposite me.

And he passed away in August. So I spent the summer going back and forward to the hospital because he he basically he felt fine. But he turned yellow.

Like he just suddenly was yellow. And it took a big amount of problems to get him into the hospital. And because he wouldn't have anyone come around is I'm fine.

I don't feel like I feel okay. And rest in peace. Jason's dad.

My dad's not dead. So come on. So I can't see who's saying that.

No, he's fine. He's all right. And oh, I'm trying to get rid of that now.

Okay. Community flag comments detected filter comments. This is weird.

I can't I'm struggling to keep track of the comments. And yeah, I'm getting to Yeah, I think people just don't they're just making fun of me. So it's fine.

I'm not really here for that. But wow, this is only the second time I've come live. I've gone live on TikTok.

And it might be the last time time time time. Yeah. So yeah, I'm guessing some of the stuff that's been written is just made up stuff.

Mind you, I do make up stuff myself. So I can't really judge Can I? I mean, to be fair, I'm a bit old to be on this, this TikTok thing. But I'm not doing it for any other reason just to try and reach maybe a different audience.

Maybe. Yeah, just reach a different audience help more people if possible. I've been doing this for nearly 20 years.

So it's not a new thing. And it's kind of strange, really, I don't know. I used to do I used to focus mainly on YouTube back in 2000.

Well, first when I first started, which was 2006. So it's pretty people on here weren't even born in 2006. I started making videos on MySpace and making podcasts.

Podcasts weren't even really popular. And then 2007 they became popular. MySpace was really good.

I like MySpace. Then Facebook came along and overtook MySpace almost overnight. Almost everyone that was on MySpace just moved over to Facebook.

Because it was, it was better for the it was better for, you know, the social side of things. MySpace was really good for promoting music and stuff like that. And it was really a really positive place as well.

I remember I posted a video. And it was a chronic pain release session or relaxation session. And I got about 10,000 views, which I couldn't believe like wow.

And the amount of positivity was coming. I didn't have one person be rude or horrible or anything. The whole time was on MySpace.

But as soon as kind of moved over to Facebook, things changed a bit. Although Facebook was quite cool to start with. And then the trolling started and the hatred started and again, like YouTube, YouTube used to be really cool.

I was there pretty much at the beginning, I was making videos. And yeah, I get some dodgy comments and stuff, but it was kind of okay. But yeah, it's, it's weird.

It's changed. I mean, in the old days, if you weren't around, or if you weren't watching YouTube in the old days, anything went apart from uploading videos very long, because I think when they started, you can upload a video for as long as you want. Then they changed it to 10 minutes, then they changed it to 15 minutes, then they kind of upped it a little bit over time.

Now it's unlimited, I think, but you have to jump over some obstacles to get to that. Like give your information and things. Yeah, but I'm not really I am on YouTube.

But I'm not really, I've not made many videos. I just upload my podcasts to YouTube automatically. So there's 1000s of videos of me on YouTube.

But most of them now are just just a static picture, static image with my podcast. And yeah, and I make probably at least five podcast episodes a week. And I do six different versions of each podcast.

I do one with music, one without music, five hours and 10 hours with and without music. I'm also on Apple. What does that say? Milo wants me to scream stuff.

No, I'm not going to scream anything. Hi, garlic, garlic, me melon. Hi.

Yeah, I'm not going to be screaming anything. It doesn't really fit in with the calmness of the podcast or the recording. Besides, I don't scream.

Generally. I'm not really a shouter. That's what I mean.

Shouter rather than screamer. Not a shouter. I don't want my voice to get I want to kind of keep my voice.

Okay. I like to speak softly. Just the way I is, I guess.

Does anyone know what all this thing is? Enigma is coming. Does no one know what that is? So the bill, ITV, the first full series of the bill began on 16th of October 1984. I don't remember watching the bill when it first came out.

Definitely watched it in the 90s. Absolutely loved it in the 90s. But I don't remember watching it in the 80s.

Which is weird because I watched everything. It was on TV pretty much in the 80s. Oh, by the way, I've got a Facebook group, Jason Newland's boring group, which you can join if you want to.

I have a website, jasonnewland.com. And what else do I have? I don't know what else I have. What do I have? I have this, I have TikTok, I've got Instagram. Botslayer said, okay, something about sand is a granular.

Sand is granular and loose material. We just seen if I'd say that out. And this is nice shirt.

Where did you get it? Thailand. Yeah. Do you like sand? Botslayer says.

I like sand, which is sand. I used to like sand when I was a kid, making snow, not snowmen, sand castles. Can't remember the last time I actually stood in some sand.

It's got to be, well, a few years ago. I mean, barefooted, I mean. Botslayer says I'm eating right now.

That's you're eating sand. Okay. You know, if you're ever on a date, dot slayer, and try not to say that, because it could really kind of mess the date up for you.

Just a bit of advice, a little bit of, just trying to help an oldie trying to help the youngies. Yeah. Never liked eating sand.

Very gritty. You know, when you're a kid, well, I don't know if you, if you have ice creams as an adult as well. Guaranteed the sand's going to get in your ice cream.

And it sticks and it's really hard to get it out. Threads is a TV show about a nuclear apocalyptic, I can't say the word, apocalyptic drama, September 23rd, 1984. I don't remember that either.

Here's a question. Does anybody on here, or anybody listening to this? Has anybody used threads? The Instagram threads? Or whatever it is? I don't understand what it is. Someone explain it to me.

I just don't know. I don't know what it is. Can't get it.

I looked at it. And like, what is the difference between this and Instagram? Other than it's called something different? I don't know. Or how have I managed to kick? Stop it.

It's kicked me out of the page. I didn't want to be kicked out. Oh, no.

Now it's kicked me back in the page. And I've gone out. Oh, dear.

Right. Ever decreasing circles on BBC One. 29th of January 1984.

I actually, I still like that show. I did. It's just, it was Richard Breyers.

And there's something about him because I used to like Richard Breyers. He was very, although he wasn't that calm in that show. Because he always thought that his wife was, or his neighbor was trying to get off with his wife.

Susan, I think his wife was Susan. And he was some, he had another, he had a name. And I don't know what his name was in it.

Brian. But he was quite angry. But it was also quite nice.

There was another neighbor that was really everybody really chilled out and stuff. Something like that. Some kind of tune.

Bob's Full House. Debuted on the 1st of September 1984. BBC One.

Bob's Full House. Was that a card show? Like with cards? Full House? Yeah, I probably watched it. But just because it was on.

I don't think I'd be good at that time. I was still at school. Probably wasn't at school, looking forward to go home to watch Bob's Full House.

It was Bob Monkhouse. He was a bit of a legend, comedian. And he hosted, I think, arguably way too many game shows.

He just hosted a lot of game shows. But you know, good for him. He hosted a lot.

And then in the 90s, something happened. Or it might have been 2000s. I think it was a 90s, late 90s or something.

Something happened and he suddenly became really popular and really cool. So he went from being for a while, he was kind of a bit of a cliche and he's been around forever, like for decades. And I don't think he was really appreciated.

And then like the new comedians came out. At the end of the 80s. And I think the audience, the younger audience realized that Bob Monkhouse was actually better than the new comedians.

He was quicker, and he was funnier. And there wasn't really much difference to what he was doing and what the new comedians were doing. Because he wasn't doing knock knock jokes or mother-in-law jokes, stuff like that.

He was cutting edge, but the audience didn't realize it because they'd never really, I think they didn't appreciate what they were getting with Bob Monkhouse until near the end, unfortunately. Nice sweater, mate. Thank you d.nel24. Thank you very much.

By the way, the background is not mold in case you're wondering. And it's not to match my top, which is weird because it kind of does a bit doesn't it? It's just I need to paint over it or put some kind of background. I mean, I don't even know if I'm going to make these anymore.

This is just a new thing I'm playing with. It's the second time I've done this. And I might not do it again.

It's just just playing with it. Yeah, I'm really not sure. What else have we got? Alas, Smith and Jones, BBC two, and 31st of January 1984, debited the BBC two.

So, so Smith and Jones were part of the not a nine o'clock news crew with Rowan Atkinson, Mr. Bean, as well as Mel Smith, Rhys Griffith Jones. That's terrible. Who else? Pamela Stevenson was in there as well.

There's an obvious person I just can't remember their name now. Rhys Griffith Jones. Mr. Bean.

Anyway, there's a few people now we're in it. And there was it was really popular. Actually, it was on about nine at night.

Was it BBC two? Yeah, it was BBC two. Yeah. And Johnny Sins.

Okay, I don't know what that means. Sturditz. All right, you're gonna name people that might be in it.

Bonnie Blue, apparently. Yeah, she wasn't even alive then. And she might have seen I'll give her a call later find out.

Pancakes has sent me this. What does have lemon asks, what does this have to do with the price of cheese? I haven't got to that yet. All right.

So there's a few people asking the same question about cheese. And I don't know. I mean, the price of cheese depends upon, I guess how much you're buying, what you're buying, because a lot of cheese are different, isn't it? It's not all cheeses same.

So I mean, you can spend I know cheese is possibly a different price in different countries as well. So you might buy like a slab of cheese here, which costs five pound. But you might go and go to Dubai, and it might cost you 45 pound for the same thing.

Because it all depends because I don't know if they've got goats in Dubai. Because cheese is goat, isn't it? I think goat, goat, goats produce isn't it like cheese is goat poo, isn't it? I think. I don't know.

Unx knows game you you Ollie joined Hello, Wally. Hello, anyone, Spencer, whoever this just randomly posting sentences. And if anyone wants to say anything nice, you can find this is a nice place.

I'm not going to read out any horrible messages or anything like that, because I can't be bothered. And also I'm recording this, you can see the microphone for my podcast. And I don't have to spend hours and hours editing it out.

Because I've always for once, which I don't normally do on podcast. And normally, in those situations, I clap my hand loudly. In order to when I edit it, I can see the spike in the audio recording so I can cut it out.

But I don't want to clap loudly because I don't want to disturb the people on Well, the two people listening or watching now on TikTok. You know, I mean, in it, duty free ITV debited early. No one's interested.

The thing is, I'm not sure this works on live recording me talking about television shows from 1984. Because it is supposed to be boring. Yeah, it's a boring, Let Me Bore You To Sleep is the podcast.

But the same. So in the same way, if I was to come on it and do a, I don't know, a relaxation hypnosis recording. So I'll be sitting there going, okay, now, focus on your shoulders.

Notice how your left shoulder may feel a little bit different to your right shoulder. Maybe you notice in your shoulders are beginning to just sink down. And someone's writing, do you eat sand? Do you like sand? Do you? I like sand.

Rest, rest in peace your dad, although he's alive. You know, I mean, I'm just got my eyes closed thinking I'm helping people. And then you can or maybe doing a chronic pain release session.

Oh, you can just let that pain drain out of your body. Me thinking that perhaps I'm helping people with fibromyalgia or arthritis, just to feel a bit more comfort. So I'm kind of getting into it, trying to help people, you know, more further apart, you know, further distance away.

And when I open my eyes, I see messages about saying, Oh, oh, you're bored. And yeah, you're really old. I can't believe you're still alive.

Oh, where did you get that face from? I'm like, okay, fair enough. Do you like sand? That'd be the title of this recording. I think you might send a fan.

Okay. So yeah, it's I mean, to be fair, I reckon that sentence. I eat sand probably took that person.

They probably started typing that out this morning, about six hours ago. Oh, this is gonna be brilliant. Oh, I want to say something so great.

I'm gonna win the Nobel Prize in humor. I like I like sand. Well, now I've got to figure a way type in it.

Oh, how do I spell the word? Oh, how do I spell I? Yeah, so maybe jewel in the crown. Critically acclaimed serial transmission in 1984 at ITV. Jewel in the crown.

I can't remember that a little bit. Kind of do. By the way, thank you for the 1.3 thousand likes, or 1300 likes.

I don't know who's liking but thank you. My love hearts. It's 1000 free.

I've got as 1300 people that have sent love to me. I think that's nice. I think it's groovy.

See, I don't think love, we shouldn't hide love. You know, you've come onto this page, you probably maybe you're looking for someone super sexy. And then you'd come on and think, Oh, I didn't realize he's the one I've been waiting my whole life for.

Tyler says NWS Jason bro. I don't know what NWS means. But hey, not the you got the number one gift a badge.

Are you giving me a gift? Thank you. No worries. I don't know what NWS means.

I still don't understand what all the gift stuff is. I'll be honest with you. And I don't understand it.

So NWS means no worries. Okay, cool. I've got a neighbor lives downstairs.

She's about 20. And I have to ask her what some of this stuff means. Because some of the things used to mean different things in the past.

You know, now, like lol used to mean lots of love. Because it now means laugh out loud or laughing out loud. And Tyler, I'm only first because I have a few a level, I've got eight level gift a badge, but not got coins to give you gift.

Otherwise, I would thank you. I think is, I mean, you you're one of the first people to actually join me anyway yesterday that weren't you so that's why I remember people I think it's not I only had a few people come onto my page yesterday. Was it yesterday? I think it was yesterday.

Yeah. Anyway, these are key continuing active UK series from 1984. By the way, I'm using chat GPT for this long running staples.

So your Coronation Street, Top of the Pops, Blue Peter and match of the day. Never watch match of the day. Unless I had to Blue Peter.

I'm not sure if I watch Blue Peter because 1984. How old is my little brother? He was six. I don't think he even watched Blue Peter because I think he was maybe a bit too young for Blue Peter then.

And I was a little bit too old. So I was eight years older than him. So I was whatever eight years is on top of six.

So I used to watch Blue Peter as a kid, but I can't say I ever got excited about it. I don't think I did. I'm pretty sure it's one of those things I just watched.

Because it was on. I was a lot of stuff like that. But I don't remember getting like, Oh, Blue Peter's on like getting all excited jumping up and down.

I don't think that happened. When I heard this soon, did I do do do do do whatever I wouldn't do can stands. That's what I'm saying.

Top of the Pops loved, loved, loved, loved, loved Top of the Pops. I would still watch it every Thursday night if it was on now, honestly. And in fact, it is Thursday night.

And I think he used to be on a half past seven. So I would watch it if it was on. But it's not on.

And if it was on, I would be up to date with the music. But it's not on. So I'm not.

Coronation Street. Because yeah, EastEnders hadn't started yet. Coronation Street.

I think he used to be on. And I used to watch it. But I didn't care about it.

Yeah. I yeah, I didn't care about Coronation Street, but I watched it. But also 1984.

I was doing karate twice a week, Tuesday, Thursday nights. Coronation Street used to be on a was it a Monday and a Wednesday? I don't know. But generally during that period, I'd be once I finished school.

Vinnie, stop squealing. What are you squealing for? I got a little dog by the way underneath me. Underneath me.

It sounds wrong, doesn't it? I would pick him up and show you all but he won't. He won't allow it. Allow it.

He won't allow it. He won't. He'd let me stroke him.

But if I go to pick him up, he'll growl. Really, really growl. Not really sure what his issue is.

He's been like that since he was a puppy. Doesn't that just doesn't like being picked up. I've not didn't know him as a puppy, but I know someone that does.

Can you believe someone said rest in peace Jason's dad? Wow. Wow. I want to go back and have a look at who said that.

That was a weird thing to say. So yeah, what is it? What other TV show? Oh, now we're in my territory. Children's TV.

That's again, that sounded wrong, but I was 13 at the time. So sorry. Thomas the Tank Engine.

Maybe when I was little. But I'm just not gonna be bothered with that. But I did Fraggle Rock.

I loved Fraggle Rock. And I loved it even when I was in my 20s. I'd watch it on a Saturday morning when I was in my early 20s.

Let the music play. Going for another day. Did he did he did in down a Fraggle Rock.

The trash heap has spoken. And okay, Tyler says got to go. Got to do revision.

I'll draw back later if you're still live or next time you're live. Have a good go. Good.

Have a good one. Thank you. Cheers, Tyler.

So I'll buy a tie. Tyler, do you listen to my podcasts? That's why I don't know if anyone's on that listens to my podcasts. Because I know I've only got three people listening, but I've actually got I've got at least seven people.

I've been doing making podcasts for 19 years. I've got at least seven people listen to me regularly. So I would say I'm quite successful.

Fraggle Rock. I always liked Fraggle Rock. I don't know why it's I know it's a kids show, but it didn't really feel like a kids show.

It was just more fun. Just tell us don't don't really listen to podcasts. We'll start listening to them.

Okay, I mean, it's up to you. I just I thought maybe someone maybe could have come here because of the the me posting because I posted the link. Not today.

I should have done that, shouldn't I? How How would I share it? How would I share it to Facebook? Share it? Okay. Share it to Facebook. Tip that wants to open Facebook.

Okay. Open Facebook. Yeah.

Sorry, I've just gone blank there. So I'm gonna focus. It's gonna open Facebook.

Login. I don't know what really? Oh, no idea. This is not easy to do.

Because actually, how am I supposed to figure this one out? Oh, shut up. Oh, I can't do it. I can't do it.

I know what I'll do. I know how to do it. Let's go back to this.

Is this still on? I know how to do it. So if I go to Facebook, Facebook, so I'm going Jason Newland's boring group. So I've already posted link.

By the way, it's Q&A Friday on Friday. If you've got any questions. Where is the Q&A? Where is it? Instagram, I posted Instagram, say not Instagram, TikTok.

This is my new TikTok. That's what I did. I did genuinely.

So for edit it, edit post, but it's not allowing me to actually open up for some reason. That's strange. Right.

So if I copy, go back. Just say I'm on TikTok right now. Join me live on TikTok.

Talk now as I need an audience. Because I got I noticed when I stopped talking at more people stay maybe maybe got a really squeaky voice. Maybe that's what it is.

I got a squeaky voice live on TikTok now. And I just post a link. Right.

So what I've done is I just added Silas. Okay. Anyone else? Hi, Jason.

Go brave. Hello. Hi, Poppy.

Hi. So Jason is a good name. You may agree with this, Jason.

And other than the fact is a top name, isn't it? But also, why aren't more people called Jason? You think that parents would call their kids Jason when you regardless of sex like these days, it doesn't matter. Just have a kid call it Jason. I just think it's a nice thing to do.

I've, I've asked people, can you please call your kid Jason? And eventually I got kicked out of the maternity ward. What brand is your washing machine? Ash? Is it because of my top? Do you think maybe it used to be white? I got no idea. It's just a washing machine.

I got I don't know. I thought it broke though earlier. All I can say is a good name.

Jason says Yep. Do you use? Right. I got no idea what you're talking about.

Ash. Sorry. Right.

We've got a random questions again. What do you think is, is gonna who do you think is gonna win the ashes? I don't know. You're asking the wrong person.

Unfortunately, the person would give you a three hour conversation about that has just passed away. My friend is absolutely mad about cricket. Like I'm talking.

And he, he could meet anyone, providing they lived in other countries. You know, Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, South Africa, as soon as he heard an accent, he could communicate with them. And regardless of where they were from, if they were an Indian loving nation, Indian cricket loving nation, he, he could get into there and have a really big conversation.

And I don't know, really know hardly anything about it, other than I played cricket when I was a kid. And the first time I was in bat, I had the person with the ball chucked in and hit me in the knee, the other knee, not the one, the knee with the pads on didn't get hit. The knee that didn't have the pads on got hit.

And apparently, I was standing wrong. And I got banned because I just chased that kid around with a with a bat trying to hit him. See, thanks, Jason.

Bye. I like that. Thanks, Jason.

Why wouldn't we could have everyone was called Jason, make life easier. So is anyone joined? Is anyone joined from my Oh, yes, anyone joined from if I can share if I can share it onto my other Facebook? I don't know. Because I just like to just get out there and reach more people.

Because it just, it looks really bright here. Yeah, I've got like 123 lights on a little bit different. It's a little bit too bright.

It's Yeah, to be fair. Hello, Alicia, Alicia. No, it's not too bright.

I mean, by the way, anyone thinking that my big pink face is the brightness is not all year round. I'm just pink. This is my normal.

This is my face. Unfortunately, it's too many years to realize this is funny. Has it has it snowed? No.

No, not here. I'm in Essex. Admittedly, I don't know about everywhere.

But Oh, man, I hope. I kind of hope it does. But at the same time, my dad's traveling down there tomorrow.

And I don't want him to travel in the snow, but he will. He'll travel during a blizzard. My dad don't care.

If he's decided planned to go somewhere. He's going regardless. And I don't want him to do that.

So I'm so sad. I wanted to snow. You know what, though? I think we will have snow.

I think none. It looks like it's been snowing on my face. There's no that's just gray.

It's a fibula snow coming. It's definitely cold. Oh, man, that temperatures dropped.

And I got this hat that covers my ears now, because I realize nothing I wear is going to make me look any older than I do already now. So it's fine. So cold.

But the winds seem to be blowing through. It's almost like the wind was trying to get to my ears. Yeah, it's like the wind was trying to like lift up the flap to get to my ears.

What's the wind got against my ears? I don't understand. I don't understand. Any questions? I don't know.

Is it what's it? Is it weird? Could you please say happy birthday to Tyler Sullivan? Happy birthday, Tyler Sullivan. Happy birthday, mate. All the best.

And yeah, have a good time, mate. I'm just thinking. Thank you, mate.

Okay, no worries. I think I might know who sent that message earlier. Oh, I think I've just figured it out.

That's all right. And lay says you want to do a fortnight TV one for 20 pound. The one versus one for 20 pound.

That's lay. No, because you'd win. And that's why you've asked me because you know you'd win.

Because you know that I wouldn't be able to play it properly. I figured you out. See? I'm like the old.

I'm like an old guru. I'm like, I've got like something you've you've dug out of the ground. And you can like, oh, let's ask advice to this person who's 100 years old.

And ladies lay lay what is a Layla? Lay says is okay. I'm playing on a Samsung made 28 years ago. You seem nice.

Have a good day. Thanks, lay. I I've never played fortnight.

I know what it is. No, it is. But I've never played it.

When my sister got married, her stepson was absolutely obsessed with it. And that was when it was his peak. I think that was when like Jake Paul and all the influences on YouTube.

And I don't know the different places were really into. What's it called? Fortnite? Yeah. Isn't there a movie called Fortnite? Is there any good? I don't I can't say but I'm asking the people on lives about who they would vote for next election.

Who would you vote for? It depends on what country you're in. Or because I'm in England. So we don't have the next election won't be for about four years.

For only British people. It's I don't mean it really, but it's kind of irrelevant in the sense of we don't get to vote for another four years. So I kind of it doesn't matter.

So much can happen. I mean, to me, I mean, it's so so much can happen in that time. And at the moment, the the tides are definitely changing.

And I don't, I don't have any affiliation with any political party at all. Because I've seen I've just seen over the years that they're all pretty much the same. So whoever goes whoever gets into power, they're still being controlled by the same people.

It's still the same people doing the same jobs. It's just someone that like, it's a new face to the same people. You know, or the administration people or the ones that it's the same same bunch of people.

The civil servants, they don't change. They're still the same people, or thousands of civil servants doing the job of running the government. They don't change.

The MPs change, the Prime Minister changes. So for me, it doesn't make too much difference because they're all whenever they get in, they want to same policies as well, pretty much it's just they're limited to what they can do in America. When a president gets in, they try and undo every single thing if they can, that the previous president did.

And that seems to be their main focus. And if they can change the law, so when the next president gets in, they can't undo what they've done. That seems to be kind of what seems to go on there.

I don't understand it. But here we don't have it's not quite as radical. You know, it's, it's backwards, then forwards, and you know, but it's not kind of a complete U-turn.

And I don't think that we'd fare very well under those circumstances. I don't really get into politics because I don't understand it really enough. And I don't, I know that people get into arguments, and I don't argue about anything.

I don't feel strongly enough about anything to argue. So as far as politics go, yeah, I kind of keep away from it, to be honest. In fact, someone said to me the other day, I'm so glad that you don't talk about politics in your podcasts.

And what have I just done? But I won't talk about politics anymore. It's just because you asked me. That's nice.

Do you know what, I'm sorry, I'm not even going to apologize. It's fine. It's, it's just that for me, I kind of try and think of the people listening after the broadcast as well, because I'm recording it and I don't want to upset my so I've got it's not so much I got a large audience, but I've got a quite a loyal audience who listens to my podcasts every day or regularly.

And have been following me for some of them for many years. So I don't want to kind of start alienating them and upsetting them. But at the same time, I'll cover most things, you know, just talk.

Have a lovely day, mate. Thank you. But I think you're right.

I agree with you. It's much the same, much more the same. I agree with you on that one.

So, yeah, yeah. I'm not going to read it out. But yeah, I agree.

People, I think I've noticed that online, where people are getting very irate with each other, because they don't have the same. They don't agree with each other about certain things. I'll be very vague, very vague.

And I remember I had a friend who's she had a teenage son, he was about 19, maybe 20. And she was so angry with him. Because he wouldn't couldn't agree with her.

She didn't agree with his way of thinking about some things like politics or whatever. And she didn't agree with him. And she'd like really didn't find to be at times pleasant because of yet, because they just didn't agree.

I tried to like get it across to her that he wasn't her friend. It was her son. It's not friendship.

I mean, obviously, you need to be able to get along, but just avoid talking about that particular subject. Instead of getting in, if you'd both need to be right. Neither are you going to end up smiling at the end of it.

It's an old saying, isn't it? You can choose to be right or you can choose to be happy. Well, he's like nothing you can choose to wipe your bum after you've done a poo, or you can choose to get a seat of your own on the bus. And everyone leave the bus when you get on, you know, it's it's not quite the same.

So I've got talking changes in news schedules, the BBC relaunches its tea time news hour. New services on cable launch music box screen sport. 1984.

See, this whole thing about cable services, didn't have no cable services in this country, unless you had a satellite dish of your own. Like my uncle, I had a wealthy uncle. And when I was a kid, and he was my stepmum's brother.

He lived in this massive house on the beach and he had this aerial look like NASA in his garden, honestly. And he could get pretty much every channel in the world just had to just move the aerial around by remote control. So if you want to listen, watch that Germany shows or if you wanted to watch American shows, just get it to move around.

And it seemed like a lot of effort. But at the time, we only had four TV channels in England. Four.

Yeah, four. And this is weird to think back for such a small amount. And then you know, everyone's gone.

I reckon some people have gone just to see what else is about. And then they'll come back because I realised that this is where the gold is. This is where the this, this is where the juicy J lives.

You won't get this anywhere else. And you're lucky. Who'd want to.

So I've got 2700 likes. Thank you for those that you have liked me, liked this. I do appreciate it.

AJ sent TikTok universe. By the way, if anyone sent me a gift, thank you. I don't know how to even know if I've had a gift.

And but, you know, just I don't know what is that one. One follow one. I don't know what that means.

I've got a thing. So I've got 2.7 key 1000 likes. But then I'm in League D5 top 99%.

So basically at the bottom of all rankings. But then there's a big yellow love heart with a one next to it. So I don't know what that means.

If anyone's got some of the comments in this live were filtered to protect the community's experience. So I don't know what's being filtered. I don't know.

I've not said anything. Well, I have said things but I haven't said anything that's naughty or rude. Talks talking points for your episode.

Oh, okay. To be fair, this episode of my to cover 1984 TV shows. There wasn't a lot to add.

That's kind of weird. So the only shows that made it their debits was spitting image, the bill, threads, ever decreasing circles, Bob's full house, alas, Smith and Jones, duty free and the jewel in the crown. And that's it.

Hmm. That wasn't very many was it? Wasn't very many at all. It really wasn't.

Have a drink of water. So I'm just trying to think. Yesterday, I didn't do a whisper Wednesday.

I mean, this is really aimed at people that listen to my podcast. But do you want me to be this regimented? Where I do like a Monday's boring objects? Trivia Tuesday, whisper Wednesday, Thursday, whatever. Oh, it's not even come up.

What's going on here? This is strange. Recent activity. See page, save to link hide.

Why? Why? It's not even showing it. So I added that link, but it's not even showing it on the page. And try again.

I don't know why things got to be so complicated all the time. Really? This is not join me live. On Twitter, if I do TT, well, they know what it is.

Tick tock. Tick tock. Right.

So maybe what I do is you never know. I'm not the poster on my other one as well. But that didn't seem to now join me.

Okay. There's no one on here. There's nobody here.

It's almost like everybody's left me join me live now on tick tock. Let's see if it works. Clicking on a link clicking on a link.

Yeah. Oh, right. It's clicking on the link.

Oh, yeah. Oh. But I have to log in to see the lives though.

Fair enough, but it is working. So maybe if I leave it a couple of minutes, couple of minutes, maybe I'll have some views. Some views.

Some some views. I don't know. I don't know what that was.

Sorry. Yeah, just started barking blessing. Hopefully he won't do that again.

I'm hoping. Dear Vinnie copy barking. Good boy, but no barking.

All right. No barking. Thank you very much.

See, yeah, this is I don't know. It's weird, though, because even no one's scrolling, or no one's watching, or it stopped recording. As it stopped.

It might just have stopped. So I haven't had one person join. So no one's scroll down.

So when I go on there, I just scroll, keep scrolling, keep scrolling. Just to sort of see what's on next. But it's not letting me log on to the live.

Oh, is it? Or is it? This could be interesting. Doesn't seem to be working. Oh, I'm just trying it on my laptop to see if anyone maybe Tick Tock's closed down for the night.

Oh, that's asking me to log in. I mean, if you already logged in, you use Tick Tock regularly, or just automatically come on. And you'll see my funny face.

Because I'm not logged in. Oh, wow, you can still see it without logging in. Really? Oh, okay.

It amused me. I don't know why it doesn't take much. Some comments with it.

So I don't know, there's no one coming through all now. So now I've promoted it. I'm getting less people than when no one knew I was even doing this.

I think I might be. I don't know. I'm so used to my laptop being here, I literally put my hands to do something and it wasn't there.

Now that wasn't the most boring story I've told. And it wasn't the most exciting either, was it? I mean, 2.7 thousand likes. So thank you.

Whoever's liked this. I do appreciate it. I appreciate you very much.

So there is a question now. And I'll ask chat GPT this question. Is there a way to save my Tick Tock lives? Tick Tock live broadcasts.

Is there a way? Yes, you can save your Tick Tock live broadcasts, but Tick Tock does not save them automatically unless you enable the right settings. Here's the way you can do it. How to enable it open Tick Tock tap phone, tap three lines in the right hands, the right hand corner, the top right corner, go to creator tools, select live center, tap settings, turn on live replay.

When this is on, Tick Tock automatically saves every live replay stays available for 90 days. And you can download the replay to your phone. Wow, that's useful, isn't it? Right.

So I need to see if I can do it while I'm on live. If I can't, then I'll just I'll just cut me off one hour. So I tick on the three things in the top right.

I've got three at the top bottom. Maybe that's it. Live center.

Settings live center. No. Right.

I don't. I think I'll have to do it. When it is on Tick Tock.

Okay. tap settings, turn on live replay. Open Tick Tock, tap profile.

I can't go on to proof profile when I'm live. Can I or can I can I tap profile? 68 followers. Thank you.

Df gift for gallery zero out of nine. Thanks. fan club.

I've got one member of my fan club. Thank you. So yeah, it seems to come to a very stale ending.

Mr. Shah sent Tick Tock universe to someone. Okay, tell me about other people. What are you telling about other people? Tell me about me.

Only me. Pause live. I could pause it.

Pause live. Okay, so if I go to, I'm trying to go to my thing, resume live to use this feature. Okay, resume.

Okay, it's not working. I don't know how to do it. Don't know how to do it.

Effects. Let's look at effects. What can I do? Shall I add some effects just for fun? Just for the heck of it.

I just for the fun. I don't know. If I can save it, then technically, technically, this can be my video for YouTube.

I can download it. And that could be the video. So let's have a look.

What does this do? All right, it should give me a few little stars. Right, it's all right. I don't need that.

Okay, well, that's not good because it makes my face even redder than it already is. Hello, is it me you're looking for? I can see it in your eyes. I can see it in your smile.

You're all I ever wanted. Your arms are open wide. Okay, maybe not.

Go away. Stop it. Right.

Funny. Well, I don't need funny because I've already got my face. That does a job.

Rafiq. Hello, Rafiq. If you're still there.

Someone's just joined. And maybe not. Right, someone's gone.

So yeah, I don't know how this turned out. It's still a tester. Did a tester yesterday.

This is another tester. But I'm wondering, I can make this a video for YouTube. And it'll be quite easy to do that as well.

Hmm, maybe. I don't know. What do you think? So it's now 6.54. One person's joined.

Hello. Who's joined me? Who's just joined? Say hello. Say hello.

Say hi. I was about to go. I was thinking about going.

I don't necessarily need to go. It's still quite early. It's not seven o'clock yet.

It's not bedtime. Someone's joined. Doesn't tell me who.

So whoever it is, hello. Let's have a look. If I click on who's joined, top viewers, no viewers.

Me, me, me, me, me, me. To build a safe community, we will limit the number of viewers in your live video before you meet the requirements. That's why I'm only getting a few people in my videos watching is because the TikTok's limiting it.

Otherwise, I might have had thousands. Now I know. Do you think maybe it stopped now? It stopped showing my live because I've used up too much time? Because I'm pretty sure it said a limit of 30 minutes.

I don't know. That might be the case because I've been talking for over an hour. An hour.

So that's it. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna go.

Gonna go, gonna go, gonna go, gonna go, gonna go, gonna go, gonna go, go, go. So thank you. I don't know what that was.

Thank you for listening. Tomorrow is Q&A Friday. So thank you for listening.

Remember to be kind to yourself. Because you do deserve to be happy, and be gentle with yourself. You deserve to feel safe.

Lots of love. Bye.
