Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland and this is Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. Close your eyes!

And today is trivia trivia trivia trivia trivia Tuesday so last week I can't remember I think I did some funny names of towns something like that so today I've chosen to do what I've chosen to do is have a look animals with silly names just seem like a random thing so I thought I'd do that so before I start before I start I'd like to just let you know I did a recording earlier a let me boil your pain away number 43 so I did that earlier that ended up being

a bit weird it honestly went in a different direction to what I was expecting I'm not quite sure what I was expecting but definitely not that also like to say I'd like to say congratulations to Fabio fabulous Fabio Wardley war by name war by nature who is now the new WBO heavyweight champion of the world and you sick gave up the WBO belt instead of defending it against Fabio Wardley so he is now the world champion and well done honestly I'm I'm seriously over the moon about it I didn't think

I would be I mean I knew it was a possibility of it happening just because he's six done that before he gave up his IBF belt to Daniel Dubois so this is a while back like a couple years ago or a year and a half ago whatever but I'm really made up for him honestly I've been following Fabio Wardley right from the start watched every one of his fights right from number one and he's local to where I live I'm just like it's so so groovy that he's now a World

Heavyweight Champion so I'm really pleased for him and looking forward to seeing him in action I don't know when his next fight will be probably probably January February time where he will be defending his title for the first time probably Wembley Stadium I'm guessing or in Dubai or you never know he might now he's the world champion if he insists that he wants to fight at Ipswich football ground he's kind of got a bit of power now isn't he I mean he already fought there once but he can almost kind

of insist where he wants to fight you know he's a world champion if he says the only place I want to fight is going to Ipswich football ground nowhere else this is the only place I'm gonna fight people have to come to me and it will be pay-per-view because he's a world champion then he's whining are you hungry so if he is at Ipswich I might try and see if I can go and see him in action I don't know how I would do with the crowds I'd need to go

with someone ideally ringside seats would be better for me it's just you know my eyesight is not great I need to be close to the action so Fabio if you're listening which you're probably not to be fair but bearing in mind I've been following you on Facebook when you had hardly any followers so you know I'm one of your original followers not that that's going to mean that much but big fan probably yeah probably when he defends his title it's likely more to be at Wembley the O2 in London or

Dubai that's probably more likely because of the crowds and I think the the sports commentators have underrated Fabio Wardley from every single position they could possibly he's been the underdog in pretty much every fight but so many of his fights he none of none of the commentators or the so-called experts seem to give him a hope in hell of actually getting much further than a regional maybe to even win a regional title and he went on to win the English the British the Commonwealth the European and now the world title

technically he's not won the world title but he's you know he's was set next in line and it's now been given to him but he deserves it and I bet I bet you any money that Joseph Parker is now sitting at home thinking to himself I only had to wait two months why because he'd been waiting for ages to fight Usyk because he was next in line so he took Fabio instead because he wanted to keep active he didn't need to after all that he didn't need to and now he's

been done for or he's been found to have drugs in his system and apparently I don't know what that situation is but it's not an enhancing drug it's like a recreational according to the news so I don't know why he would get in trouble for that it's like getting done for smoking a joint before before a boat race it's not gonna help you is it it's not gonna it's it's it's the opposite and also he lost the fight so he didn't win the fight it's not like it gave him it

didn't give him an advantage at all so I don't know the same thing happened to David Benavidez he he was two-time super middleweight world champion and now he is the he's a light heavyweight world champion and he basically he got his light heavyweight champion because Bivol gave it up gave up that one of those titles after beating what's his name for all the belts but Benavidez he lost the world's the first world title he'd lost I think because he didn't hit the scales he couldn't because he's a much bigger man

he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man

he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a much bigger man he's a he's pretty much a heavyweight which and he reduces weight down to get down to being and a super middleweight which is 13 stone something like that maybe less he's naturally I reckon he walks around probably 16 stone 17 maybe it's a big bloke really big strong

man and he he took up boxing to lose weight and I realized that probably a lot of people don't need even know who David Benavidez is he is in my opinion one of the greatest boxers that there is it's phenomenal but anyway he lost the world title on the scales so he still fought he still won the fight by knockout but he lost the world title so his opponent was the only one that could win the title that's crazy in it you think there'd be a little bit like okay well

we'll take we'll take your purse just give give all of your purse to the opponent but I get to keep the world title because then I don't know I would I don't know if I'd want to give up the money but and then he won the title back again the super middleweight title and he got drug-tested and they found cocaine in the system like recreation drugs in his system afterwards so he'd won the fight he went out partying and then they drug-tested him and he lost his title again and he

waited years trying to get it back but Canelo refused to fight him and Canelo dominated the super middleweight division for years at least five six years and he refused to fight David Benavidez saying I won't fight a Mexican a fellow Mexican yeah he's fought several fellow Mexicans just won't fight the one that he thought would beat him or that would give him the most the hardest fight that's my opinion because he is I mean Canelo is still brilliant he's still a brilliant boxer just someone loses doesn't mean they're brilliant I

mean if you go up or wait and lose then there's no harm in that is there it's like you've taken a chance and some people are just better and Crawford at this stage is better than Canelo so Crawford beat him recently and Bivol is better than Canelo and Mayweather was better than Canelo but not one of them could they knew I think right from the start that they couldn't knock they weren't going to knock Canelo out I don't think anyone is going to ever do that unless that was my ankle

did you hear that unless Canelo continues fighting for another 10 years then eventually someone will come in and just knock him out because he'll it'll be like in his 40s and he won't be able to handle like a 21 year old 22 year old but I doubt he'll do that he's he's still earning big money but his career is near the end I should do a boat you feel I should do a boxing podcast it's the only subject I'm interested in I really really interested in but I know no one

else is but yeah I'm really made up for Fabio big big fan I just think he's amazing that he's the thing is it's not it's the whole package it's not just because of the way he fights is exciting every single time he but it's he's funny outside of the ring he's funny he's respectful he's also someone that he looks the part he just looks apart see when he started professional boxing he looked like he'd been an amateur he had a boxer's face already when he started he looked like he'd been

boxing since he was like seven or eight and he hadn't been this was his you know so he I think I don't mean to gush so much but I think Fabio Wardley would have dominated back in the 15 rounds I also think so would Usyk Usyk's engine is phenomenal but not all the heavyweights have that stamina maybe they would if 15 rounds was the norm they'd have to kind of adjust but there was a time in boxing where there was no limit to rounds it was like as many as it

took and the rules were different that's why it's kind of a bit silly comparing whether or not Jack Dempsey or Rocky Marciano or even Muhammad Ali would stand a chance against Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury because the rules are different the rules are so different now in Rocky Marciano's day which was the 50s I think he retired in 57 something like that 59 you you know you didn't have to go you could you could basically knock someone down and then as soon as I stood up continue punching them you can't

do that anymore you have to go to a neutral corner and the referees weren't as strict as they are now and they didn't check the gloves the way they do you know so many things are different I mean could you you could walk in with a with gloves size of houses not full of all kinds of spanners and stuff just you know made of metal no one seemed to notice I'm exaggerating a little bit but if things have changed apparently got a lot of a big freeze on the way so

I don't know I don't know Sidney Sweeney's on the front pages the Daily Star if I just have a quick look through there to see what's going on also let you know that it's not weird Sidney Sweeney she's now I would say I don't know about in America but at the moment she seems to be the most famous actress in the world just like as far as a name even people don't watch movies or don't even know who she is maybe I've probably heard the name Sidney Sweeney it's a kind

of almost Pamela Anderson situation when Pamela Pamela Anderson became so famous for a TV show so famous like huge megastar wow that's weird they got an old picture from Kelly Brooke from page three that's strange I didn't expect to see that I'm very disappointed in the Daily Star I don't want to see stuff like that hmm I think on a way and go back to it later because I think I'd like to be disappointed more disappointed after the recording did it did it did it did it did it did it

did it did Frank Skinner apparently says the only reason he got lucky with the women because he was famous yeah I mean it's I'm not saying it's the reason but it celebrity is an aphrodisiac I've seen it so many times I remember seeing Frank Skinner in a comedy club upstairs and he was playing pool with I think it might have been David Baddiel and I couldn't believe how pale he was I was very very jealous because I'm like pink I'd never liked my color in and like I'd love to have

been pale he was very very pale and I thought it'd be so nice to be like that instead of having this I don't know what it is I've got but still just lead to everyone now I've got my Facebook group Jason Newlands boring group I've now started posting the full recording of my latest recording on there as well on my Facebook group which is basically as soon as I make the recording the podcasts I upload them to Spreaker they then automatically upload to YouTube all six versions without music with music

five and ten hours without music and with music and then when they're processed I download the one without music and I upload it to the Facebook page so you can just stream it on there if you want to it's just another place that you can stream it also I've now every time I do recording I upload to both tik-tok and Instagram on both actually tik-tok Instagram and X I can only upload up to I think I can only upload it up to an hour I'm not sure about X I need

to check that one out but I can only upload up to an hour on Instagram and tik-tok and I started to get quite good views actually on the videos I know that technically they're not videos but they are there's no moving images or anything tik-tok there's no there's no there's no action on tik-tok at the moment but I've only just started a new a new channel on there on ticked on X sorry tik-tok's the one I'm getting the most action if you want to call it that I'm thinking about potentially

going live on tik-tok not kind of just sitting here talking not not doing kind of like a normal life so I've done a bit of research the last week about the lives on tik-tok and I'm not I'm not yeah I'm not I don't think I'm suited for some of that stuff but I could potentially do my Let Me Bore You To Sleep on there or I could potentially do my Q&A Friday on tik-tok live I don't know I'm not sure we'll see so the that's that's what I'm gonna be doing

going forward just uploading the stuff onto those platforms and if there's any others and I'll kind of look into that as well the last two days I have made more than one recording which is it's partly because my mood has changed I mean I couldn't get out of bed the weekend and now I'm kind of I did get out of bed but it was hard now I'm kind of in a much different mood so yeah I'm just kind of going with it really let's have a look there's not really a

lot Joshua on the boxing scene Anthony Joshua is going to be fighting Jake Paul in December and so yeah I never understood right so this is being cancelled the original fight was with what's his name Devonte Davis and that was cancelled because he's got some civil suit filed against him I don't understand civil suits if something goes to court and someone gets found innocent by court a court of law then that's kind of the end of it isn't it yeah if they got found but if you take him to civil

court and they get found guilty so what are they are they innocent or guilty it's it's I don't understand the civil court thing I really don't I don't not when it comes to like crimes and stuff just confused by it oh apparently they call them fat jabs they're probably not the correct term but weight loss jabs apparently it reduces the the it slows down the rate that alcohol enters the bloodstream meaning it can take longer to feel the effects so if you're on those jabs just take it easy with the

alcohol because it might creep up on you about you realizing it it's not something I need to be concerned of myself because I neither take the jabs or drink alcohol but I know some people do I don't think I'm really in I don't think I'd even be allowed to go on those jabs with the NHS because I'm not big enough if I was I don't think so maybe I'm wrong but I didn't I wouldn't think um I'm above why should be weight wise and whatever muscle but I can't think hmm

I don't know whether or not they would put me on the jab I might definitely take it if if it was like if it was a medical emergency blimey of course I'd take it I wouldn't even think about it twice like yeah okay if that's the only option yeah apparently Alan Carr reckons he's too sweaty to be the host the new host of Strictly Come Dancing all right I'm just having a quick look through there's not a lot going on the papers England rugby star and Team GB athlete Ellie Kildon

will be Heathrow's first voice of Britain she will take over the airport's public address system in a new annual event celebrating public figures who have made a contribution to UK culture okay I don't know who she is I'm sorry I don't oh a rocket slices across the face of the Sun in a near-impossible shot reckoned to be the first of its kind really Andrew McCarthy used a specially designed hydrogen alpha telescope that refilled the Sun's furry side I don't know if furries the right name the right time oh the cosmic

masterpiece was taken from Merritt Island Florida after lots of plan with local snappers I mean it's not that close to the Sun because otherwise it melt talk about melting did you know did you this is this is trivia obviously not animals are silly names yet I've not got to that the longest hole in the ground the deepest hole now in the ground is in Russia and they had to stop digging because none of the equipment could withstand the heat just melted so there's a certain and it's not the core I'm

pretty sure it didn't get down to the core because that possibly could be disrupted to the whole planet couldn't it be like popping a balloon Wow I heard so about a giraffe there was about 30 vets worked on a helping a giraffe doing knee surgery on a giraffe helping with his leg and I was just thinking that's a lot of it took like 30 hours or 25 hours to do this and they had to hold it down and it was really you know difficult and I'm wondering if that giraffe afterwards

was laying there feeling sorry for itself can't believe it to go through all that and the other giraffes were like what maybe the odd pig there might be a pig in the in the barn as well I imagine just lives in barns I don't know with no roof or very high roof can't believe that to go through all that and can you imagine a horse here in that but you're moaning because you got an operation on your leg do you know what happens to us when we lose when we break

a leg huh there could be something funny I like couldn't there but I couldn't think of anything Weatherspoon's top 30 pubs will be pitched against each other in a new top Trump's game lovely the Royal Mint tribute to Queen legend Freddie Pierce Brosnan wants to become he wants to return to be James Bond which he hasn't been in since 2002 he's 72 years old now he was a good Bond but personally there's never been a Bond I didn't like I even liked Woody Allen when he was Bond was it Woody

Allen was he it was it was he I think he was I don't know take a link or take a look inside Britain's raunchiest Airbnb with a swing and no stop that drive to the gym Alfa Romeo has shifted gears by launching a new gym wear range you know the gyms around the country looking forward to January aren't they all those millions of people to sign up yeah I'm gonna go to the gym every week three times a week a hundred times a week a dapper that shunned see death I

think I upset someone locally by calling it dog a sausage dog which it is but that that that shunned that I don't know how you say it and if you look at a sausage dog's face Vinnie why is it because I'm saying the word sausage the sausage dog's face looks like Viddy he's got the same eyes the same eyebrows the same constant frown the same nose it's just the body's a little bit longer and lower to the ground and the ears are too big for its head are you saying hello

to everybody then don't say hello to everybody say hello sausage dog do you miss uncle sausages do you do you miss uncle sausages yeah we all do mate and I said this before but he honestly I'd be in here and I'd hear uncle sausages and Vinnie talking to each other through the door through the front door and I was like who's uncle sausages talking to and I'd look through the camera and he'd just be looking at the door like what's he doing and I'd go out there and Vinnie would be

sitting there you're right Vinnie you're right Vinnie do you want some sausages Vinnie oh you haven't got what you're doing it weren't including me in anything right I think I'm gonna have to get Vinnie his din-dins but then I will do the what's it some of these Louise Allen number 12 really Louise Allen is basically horrible books she makes horrible books and I don't know why people like reading stuff like that you know about children that have been through it I don't know why people I don't know why I don't

know why people like to read why I actually worked with someone who is in a call center all day she spent reading them books like in between calls it's like no wonder you're miserable I said to her I said like you're reading that how are you supposed to be friendly on the phone when you read in such horrible stuff and she didn't get it like and she got sacked not not because of me but because she wasn't selling anything because she was seriously negative like come on you got at least

pretend to be positive which is a weird one what's my star signs Virgo new routines will work out better than you had ever imagined I've added the ever and you will be glad you agreed to give some suggestions a go improving your efficiency will also free up time for you to create new strategies and develop new skills let's do the rest Aries profitable transactions are likely when it comes to family and property being organized and reliable lead to success in your professional life you can advance in all projects that are

important to you whilst also keeping unexpected challenges in perspective Taurus you're doing your best to help someone achieve success but are they now expecting too much from you are they you realize your mistake is not settling boundaries from the start but it isn't too late to create a healthier balance for both of you Gemini you have a chance to enter a long-term commitment that has the potential of being successful even so why can't I have that even so something is holding you back take a moment to breathe deeply and then

if you still like the idea go for it it could be a risk worth taking Cancer an old relative is so used to depending upon you that they expect you to drop everything whenever they demand your time and attention you want to help but you also have other commitments it is time to make some rules and set boundaries Leo the idea of starting on something new and creative excites you you want to get going immediately but there are still matters to agree on with others be patient take it one step

at a time as you don't want to trip over yourself in your eagerness to get results so I've done Virgo next is Libra neglecting financial and practical matters could have serious repercussions you are close to rushing into a project without weighing up the consequences take a step back and plan before moving on that way your efforts can be successful Scorpio it will be the way you remain it will be the way okay that's the weird way to start a sentence it will be the way you remain calm when there is

chaos around you and your patience with difficult people that inspires others okay in situations where there has been tension by the end of the day you will notice a big improvement in the overall atmosphere hmm Sagittarius someone is benefiting from your dedication more than they should a senior colleague is ignoring your requests by promotion for promotion as it suits them more for you to be under their control you may have to go higher when expressing your ambitions to move forward oh that's quite specific isn't that choosing to remain behind the

scenes for Capricorn now choosing to remain behind the scenes will help you steer clear of disruptive people if you have been questioning who is trustworthy and who isn't it's more it's important for you to be watchful and alert take care not to jump to conclusions Aquarius a younger relative or colleague will rebel if they feel someone is trying to dominate them they want a chance to share their thoughts and feelings a partner will show their more assertive side if they sense a lack of understanding and Piscis you will admit to

having felt restless of late and longing for more independence yet you will also come to realize that being settled and secure can bring a deeper sense of fulfillment and reward than independence alone so that's from Russell Grand a picture of him from 40 years ago oh unless he just still looks the same Wow Wow there's another book here similar kind of old stuff it with these books I'm thinking about getting one of those trimmers where I can just trim my hair Oh new in paperback George Best there's another one Gazza

Gascoigneuse the world to a division can be rebranded the Wow Wow Wow to wait as challenges fell and grows and new champion was crowned Islam match of mecca Jeff it Mecca Jeff is the new king of this hundred and seventy pound ranks as he dominated Jack Della Maddalena Maddalena over five rounds at New York's Madison Square Gardeners okay my question is this I don't know Ben's done EU a famous you bank right okay that's it Anthony Joshua signs up 50 million cash bash with influencer clash they're very pleased with themselves

with that one aren't they now I think Vinnie's gonna want me to get him some food I know technically I should have kind of I like to have a little introduction before I do the podcast before I really start but animals with silly names a a a a or I I I a lemur whose long middle finger looks like it's made for poking what's a lemur so like a cat dick dick dick okay a dick dick altogether dick dick is a tiny antelope named after the squeaking sound it makes tick

tick tick tick and an antelope blue-footed booby okay a bird with bright blue feet that perform good goofy dances now I'm just gonna quickly go down these they haven't got the obvious ones robin red breast and a blue tit and a great it I still chuckle inside my head when I say that out loud because I'm a child a naked mole rat wrinkly hairless and very proud of it see it's adding its own stuff there why would it be proud a naked mole rat what would a naked why right this

is just stuff is adding chat GBT okay don't add your own material please just stick to facts okay adding the same stuff like okay I'll stick to the actual fact yeah what you like yes I do want you to redo the list we why would you it's just adding like oh it's no it's a dick dick naked roll mat naked naked mole rat a raccoon dog is not giving me any information now at all before at least it was giving me some like okay it is yeah it's just doing its

own jokes a dick dick naked mole rat a raccoon dog so we don't have raccoons here we have dogs Vinnie one particular dog is to the right of me begging is it food you want are you hungry lick your lips if you're hungry join didn't ins your num nums to a num nums great you know to eat he's just he's begging just turned his head from side to side do you want are you hungry are you oh he's so cute when you do that a mixture between cute and annoying that's

kind of in the middle it's cute when I'm not actually doing something you know when I'm not busy so I just couldn't get him gone again gone and got him some dinner and he's eating it now it's watching him so yeah um raccoon dog we don't have raccoons here we don't really have in England anyway much in the way of like serious wild animals like bears or wolves or lions or tigers or crocodiles or giraffes you know all those kinds of things yeah there's a giraffe moaning about having his leg

I'm gonna be in a sling or I'm gonna be in plaster for like six weeks and his mate said at least you're not a horse something like that would have been better wouldn't it earlier on a little bit shorter a little bit more to the point but I think the moment when I passed uakari a red-faced monkey so basically I'm an uakari aren't I I'm a red-faced monkey that's what I am Tarsier don't know what that is at least it could just explain what it is so instead of just adding

stuff it wasn't telling me what it is so a main dwarf looks like a fox on stilts according to this okay I don't need to be I know I realise a main wolf is a wolf but an uakari or a Tarsier I don't know what a Tarsier is anyone do you got a sengi which is an elephant shrew I don't know why that sounds funny I have to google that because I don't know what that is I got an idea it's not gonna be sengi an elephant shrew who's got like

a trunk it's a tiny little thing with a trunk okay more like an anteater to be fair a wolverine real animal unusual name is but it isn't because of the I think most people have probably heard of a wolverine perhaps because of the comic books or the movies with Wolverine in them the X-men all that stuff here's a little funny fact or not funny but a fact did you know that Andre was related to the Wolverine and I'm not talking about Hugh Jackman it's it's true the the Wolverine the honey

badger ferrets pole cats all those I don't know what the right word is for them but they're all related and they've all got something common really tough and they don't quit now Wolverine is classed as one of the toughest animals on the planet as far as it will not quit it won't take anything on it's not necessarily gonna win but it will it's an absolute that's why they named the Wolverine in the X-men comics after Wolverine because it was the most vicious animal if I put in which is the toughest

animal toughest animal in the world the ten strongest animals okay go from that one ten strongest animals a harpy eagle how can an eagle it can't be the strongest animal can it I'm pretty sure I can lift more than one eagle can carry or at least an elephant could carry more than the eagle that's number 10 though isn't it so yeah fair enough a leopard can carry 125 kilos approximately twice their body weight now 125 kilos is heavier than me that is that's a lot isn't it a polar bear can

lift 450 kilos approximately 0.7 times their body weight that how much does a blimmin polar bear weigh that's 450 kilos that's a huge amount of weight like huge huge amount of weight and that's number eight now a lion can also carry lift 450 kilos approximately twice their body weight so a polar bears a lot bigger than a lion but a lion can lift twice so does that mean a lion 225 225 kilos that's still huge isn't it still like what 35 stone or something grizzly bear can lift 500 kilos so

0.8 percent times their body weight so which means they've got to be Wow huge that's number six a tiger can lift 550 kilos twice their own body weight see you know when I was younger most things happened when I was younger and because of the Tarzan movies I mean really my I suppose my only experience with lions and tigers was the Tarzan movies the old Tarzan movies there was some also not animal farm I didn't see that as an adult what was it called the talking animals cartoon thing I know

that was also animal farmer that was like kids version this was that was based in a farm wasn't this is jungle the jungle book so you had the characters in a jungle book outside of that and the occasional 70s show where the bionic man or Wonder Woman was fighting with a lion or something didn't really get many lions there I assumed that a lion was bigger than a tiger until I went to the zoo and I was quite surprised at just how big tigers are way bigger than lions I mean

huge huge things a musk ox can lift 500 kilograms about 1.5 times their body weight Wow a white rhino can lift 800 kilograms approximately half their body weight 800 kilos 800 and I just think like wow why were they not used for agriculture and for moving stuff because they'd just be I was thinking like the way animals were used and stuff for moving things around that's one of the strongest animals on the planet I'm guessing elephants going to be number one but you never know a white rhino I mean to

me rhinoceroses are they're basically dinosaurs aren't they they're dinosaurs the idea that all dinosaurs are all extinct there's like there's two sides in there dinosaurs never existed in the first place and dinosaurs are extinct neither of those are true because dinosaurs are still here what is a rhinoceros what is a crocodile alligator they're dinosaurs an elephant is a dinosaur there's no other way around it that's what they are in fact if you look at some of the old movies like the really old movies where they'd have dinosaurs they'd dress up

big turtles turtles are dinosaurs they'd dress up like rhinoceroses and stuff or put a horn on it on a chicken what's I don't know and you know to make it look like a dinosaur gorillas I forgot about gorillas I didn't even think gorillas would be on the list isn't it weird just didn't think about it gorillas can lift 815 kilograms approximately four times their body weight four times their body weight is 800 I mean that's I don't even I can't even imagine a weight machine with that much weight no one

no human beings ever lifted that much ever I don't think I think it's literally it's an impossibility well nothing's impossible I guess but so far there might have been so I reckon I'm pretty sure I mean skeletons have been found that were really big and there are Giants even today people that are like eight nine ten four it's an anomaly so it's unusual I mean that way normally means okay but there might be the time when it was absolutely normal in the same way as do ever go on school school

trips when I was a kid went into like castles and stuff and I couldn't believe how tiny people were back then I would have been tall the doorways were little the uniforms were little now I'm wondering either they were small or they were all kids there was just no one got to be adult no one got beyond like 15 but the men I mean and that might be the case you think about it constantly I don't know so the gorilla 815 kilos the African elephant as opposed to what other elephant

they've got elephants in India and they it's got elephants in most countries got elephants here they're not walking around but they are here an African bush elephant can lift 6,000 kilograms 6,000 even their trunks are the strongest animal in the world the African bush elephant which is capable of lifting 6,000 kilo it's own body weight right if it's not a proper sentence here capable of lifting our 6 fat it's own body weight from lying down so it's way 6,000 kilos really it's own body weight from lying down even their trunks

can lift over 200 kilos thanks to over 40,000 muscles for context an adult human adult humans have just over 600 muscles in their entire bodies the trunks have 40,000 muscles and we only have 600 muscles I'm sure I got more than 600 muscles in my body I'm quite surprised I got more than three actually to be fair I'm gonna be honest what is the strongest relative to its size that's the dung beetle over 100 times its own body weight it can lift one at 1,100 times its own body weight Wow

the dung that's huge isn't it that's why do you remember the the movie The Fly and why he was so strong because flies and spiders and those they're so strong compared to their size it's yeah it's phenomenal really do-do-do-do-do-do that was interesting I wish I'd kind of done this is a subject I thought Wolverine would have come up as the scariest so toughest animals it says here Siberian tiger hippopotamus but they accidentally because they're just so big and clumsy apparently the polar bear the gorilla formidable strength saltwater crocodile jaguar grizzly

bear wolf mountain goat honey badger told you about honey badger African elephant lion sadly at the honey badger fearless that a whole the whole kind of that species are fearless I'm gonna click on the honey badger so the honey badger honey badger also known as the ratel is a mammal widely distributed across Africa South Asia and Indian subcontinent you don't mess with a honey badger reminds me of the Wanderers movie it's a very old old reference but don't F with the honey badger the honey badger is a solitary animal that

can be active at any time of day depending on the location it is primarily a carnivorous species and has few natural predators because of its thick skin the strength and ferocious defensive abilities adults maintain large home ranges and subspecies so let's have a look oh I just want to find other related to the is a car I'm trying to think what's it called it's the only speeches in both the Guinness mellifera mellifera and the subfamily a mellifera a mustelid that's it it's the largest the largest terrestrial mystery in here we

go a mustelidae a mustelidae so this is what I was looking for so you've got quite a few in this thing oh look at this several mustelidae including a mink the sable the stoat the posses and they were used for trading furs and the sea mink the sea otter the black footed ferret the European polecat and because of the furs they were kind of you know wanted for that so I'm gonna have to look at this it's a diverse family of carnivorous memorals memorals memories including weasels badgers otters polecats Martins

grizzles and wolverines now I've already talked about the honey badger polecats ferrets kind of the same thing really wolverines now wolverines they're in a different category I would argue let's have a little look shall we wolverines okay it's the largest land dwelling member of the family mustelidae it is a muscular carnivore and a solitary animal the wolverine has a reputation for ferocity and strength out of proportion to its size with the documented ability to overcome prey many times larger than itself the wolverine is found primarily in remote reaches of the

northern boreal forest and subarctic and alpine tundra of the North Hemisphere with the greatest numbers in northern Canada the US state of Alaska the mainland Nordic mainland Nordic countries of Europe and South and throughout Western Russia and Siberia its population has steadily declined since the 19th century due to over trapping over trapping and also reduction in habitual fragmentation so there's like less land I suppose the wolverine is now essentially absent from the south and end of its range in both Europe and North America the wolverine's questionable reputation as an insatiable

glutton reflecting in its Latin Guinness name gulo meaning glutton maybe in part due to false etymology the less common name for the animal in Norwegian for the horse meaning mountain cat is thought to have worked its way I don't know if I said that right full of us full of us and it's not a cat but it is a very oh look I had this little idea I mean it's gonna this is when I had Andre what I wanted to do was one day get some land and but have it

so that it was a sanctuary for ferrets but a big plot of land and I don't know try and find a way to keep them safe so they don't just leave so they keep within the area and then just invite visitors to come and say hello and because I'd be feeding them every day they wouldn't have to hunt they'd be they'd be I don't know just gentle I don't know how that would be I mean I suppose they have to have sort of cages but they wouldn't be in cages but

it might be a big massive cage the size of a village or something you know something maybe that's a little bit over the top but it'd be yeah it'd have to be just I don't know the thing is if they want to get out they will get out if there's a way to get out they'll do it because I noticed that with Andre if he wanted to if he set his mind on something he never ever ever quit just wouldn't quit he just he was determined and that was it and

I did admire that for him that tenacity was admirable I would say but I did I was going to call it Andre's world Andre's ferret world and just have maybe trying to well at the time mate Andre with someone and then just have lots of kids and get the you know just have a ferret world with hundreds maybe thousands of ferrets all living together in a woodland area and they'd get fed so they wouldn't go hunting or anything it although I don't know how you how to be able to stop

that maybe not thousands and maybe you know six maybe fifty I don't know what what the thing yeah I don't know I would have to have a full-time vet staff and stuff but it'd be like the ferrets could come and go as they please and come into the house do anything they want and just enjoy themselves just have a good life and maybe have a tracker on each one just so I know where they are and like it's a little collar like I would anyway with Andre and just make sure

that they're safe and give them regular checkups and feed them every day so they don't have to go hunting and stuff because I think ferrets are quite lazy animals they're not like cats cats will feed and they'll still go hunting just for fun my experience of well when I had Andre was if the food was there he definitely weren't going to go hunting he was not interested in doing anything at all you know if he went out and there was a bird or he wouldn't it's not interested in catching anything

wolverines have been observed to use urine as a scent marking behavior I imagine quite a few animals do that I mean dogs do that the cats do that what about bats bats and rats and cats I'm in the honey badger it's wolverines and honey badgers it's just I've seen videos of them they don't care they don't genuinely don't care it's weird I think they should change the name from honey badger to I don't know honey just sounds sounds cute doesn't it I'm not saying they're not cute but I don't think

a honey badger would be necessarily a great pair however if you took a honey badger out for a walk and you not only get bothered by anyone including any dogs and if you take a wolverine out there's no animal in this country in England is gonna have a chance against it apart from those in the zoo God there's proper although there is a bloke that lives in this is in America and he made friends with a wolverine I think he actually saved it when it was a puppy when it was

little and he raised it let it back in the world but it comes back visits him and it's one of those situations where their life's really close and it goes off into the wild hunts lives but comes back and visits him so that's pretty cool Vinnie's now hassling me again you really don't like me talking do you don't like me doing my podcasts I'm doing a podcast Vin sorry mate this is this is my time my time so you got a quokka a binturong a solenodon a poodoo the world's smallest
