Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes if you're watching a video or listening to the podcast. If you're watching live on TikTok or Facebook or wherever this is broadcast live, then this is not a sleep recording.

This is a relaxation recording for those watching on a live. Okay, okay. So I'd like to say thank you to all my new subscribers and viewers, viewers on TikTok.

And so that's nice, my latest videos, sort of, I'm getting more views than I normally get. And also, I had a weird experience yesterday. So I'm trying to reach a different audience, but more people.

And, you know, this month, I'm celebrating my 20th anniversary of making videos. And hypnosis recordings. Yeah, so I thought, well, you know, TikTok, I know it's quite a fairly youngish audience.

And my recordings have an audience of all ages. It's not just people that are my age or people older, as people younger as people at school, students, people at home, whatever, lots of different people, people who are in hospital listening. So you hear that that was Vinnie.

He's now bored because I'm not giving him any attention. Bless him. I've given him his food, and he won't eat it.

I've told him, you need to eat your food. And he refuses. Because he wants t r e e e e t s. And he can't have them.

Apart from the fact that I've run out. He can't he has to eat his food. And he's been spoilt over Christmas.

So that's kind of where we are. So this video is going to be video will be on YouTube, I'll edit the video, because there's a chance Vinnie will bark, especially if I get delivery or someone knocks on the door, or someone is outside. So there's a chance I'll you know, we'll have to edit that out.

I'll edit that out of the audio which I'm recording on this microphone I'm pointing to this microphone, the red one is for the video. And the TikTok is being recorded on my phone. So hopefully you can hear me okay on there.

I can pull it forward a little bit. So a little bit closer. So, yeah, that's it really, I'm just, I'm still kind of experimenting a little bit with this whole thing.

And I did, I did a relaxation session yesterday, which I did as a video, I didn't stream it live on TikTok. But I did post it on to the TikTok video, you know, my, my page posted onto YouTube shared on Facebook, and release the audio on all the podcasts. And they've also been added on my website.

So there's quite a few bits going on all kind of at the same time really. Now, what's that on my lip? I'm a little bit worried this time of year because it's so cold outside that I'll end up with chapped lips, you know. It's almost like getting sunburn in the lips or peel, isn't it? It's like, oh, don't want that.

So I want to say thank you because there's a few people that maybe have watched my videos and maybe join me become members, not members, not subscribed. What's it called? I don't know what it's called on here. And I've been asked by Jaffa, are you testing different paints on the wall behind you? No, it does look a bit like that, doesn't it? I actually have a curtain, it's a black curtain, soundproof one that I'm going to put up there.

I'm going to try and ask my neighbours downstairs if they can help me to put it up around so it'll be black in the background. That's the plan, but probably not till next week, to be fair. But yeah, so yeah, it's it's basically, it looks a little like a little bit like mould, but it's not mould.

It's, it's the backing of the soundproof that I used to have on there. And then I took the soundproof off and put it into my garden shed that I had in my bedroom. So, because that was going to be my recording studio.

But then it was so hot in there. I literally had to sort of sit there with pretty much no clothes on, which was very uncomfortable. The shed didn't like it.

The shed complained to me and gave notice it was going to move out unless I started wearing clothes. So I didn't know what to do. But also the shed kept creaking.

It's like, I don't know why I'm trying to do a creaky sound. We probably all heard a creaky sound so we know what it is, but it just used to sort of make these sound like while I was doing a recording. And I wanted it to be nice and peaceful because I was going to do the whisper stuff.

But it didn't kind of work out. So hey, so I had it for about two years, and then I got it demolished. I've got soundproofing over there, there, there, there, there, there, there, there, there, there.

So on that wall over there, that wall over there, and that wall. And also, I think you probably can't see it, but there's some soundproofing behind me a little bit lower down. And I usually do my recordings over there and over there.

So now I'm doing recordings where there's no soundproofing directly next to me. But these soundproofing curtain that I'm going to put up should help. So yeah.

So yesterday, I had a bit of a weird experience. One of my listeners sent a message to me on Facebook saying, they heard me talking on TikTok, and I gave someone some not advice, but kind of said something perhaps useful. And she said, why don't you maybe try that? Error, please restart stream.

All right. Well, I'll leave it as it is. If there's a problem with this stream, then let me know.

And I can restart it. So I, what was I gonna say? So I've thrown off. Yeah, so it's like a, like an agony aunt, but an agony uncle.

So people could just ask me questions and I could give my, not so much advice, but a bit of opinion as an older person, maybe. So I'm not going to read out everything that's being said on, on TikTok live, because this is predominantly a, you know, a recording. No, I didn't.

So yeah. I've just got a visual of something. The problem with written text is it's hard to know if something's just like a joke, or if it's not a joke.

And, you know, so yeah, I've got someone trying to make me lose my train of thought. It doesn't take much to be fair. So I thought, maybe I would give it a go.

Maybe as a, you know, I'm a trained counsellor. I, three years degree, you know, I did all that. I practiced as a counsellor for a few years.

I'm a hypnotist. I've got quite a bit of life experience, I guess, because of my age, a lot of experience in mental health due to having bipolar. And I just thought, maybe I could be of use, you know, maybe.

And sometimes I think if people get a chance to talk about what's going on for them, it can help them, but it can also help other people that are maybe going through a similar situation. Someone might be the beginning of that situation. Someone might have been through that situation that can offer advice.

It's a little bit like if you're in a, in a classroom situation, which I have been many times, even since school, you know, studying different things. And sometimes, you know, I mean, there's one time I put my hand up and asked a question and some of the people in the classroom laughed because it was a silly question. Apparently to me, it was like, I needed to know the question, the answer.

But then a person afterwards came to me and said, that was actually a good question. I didn't know the answer myself. So I'm glad you asked.

I was a bit embarrassed to ask because I didn't want to look silly, but thanks for looking silly for me. It's okay. No, no problems.

That was a teacher. That was a teacher. So, but anyway, yesterday I thought, I thought about it for a day or so like, should I do it? Should I or should I not? Should I do a live one? I could do on Facebook.

Should I do it on TikTok? Facebook. I've got my Facebook group called Jason Newland's Boring Group. So there's a specific 237 or 238 people on there.

There's a private group and it's people that really like what I do. They follow me and everything. They don't follow me around, but they follow what I do.

And then I've got my other Facebook pages that have a few thousand. One's got about four and a half thousand. My normal page, hardly anybody interacts with me on there.

And then I've got my Jason Newland hypnotist one, where I get a few people interact and I've got 26,000 I think on there, but hardly anyone interacts with me on there as well. So I guess they're just people that joined and then just forgot about it. Now TikTok is kind of new for me as far as going live.

And I thought, you know, give it a go, give it a little go, have a, have a little play with it. What's the worst that can happen? And the worst did happen actually. So I basically came online and I, I invited people to come in my box.

I think I wrongly worded that to be fair. So that wasn't a good start. And so I allow people to come on and just ask me a question.

And I think I only had two people be nice to me. And the rest of people, rest of the people were hurling quite a bit of nastiness. And I was asked, right at the beginning, I said, you need to be 18 to, to be on in my, to be on the screen, you know, whatever.

No one came on with their picture, like video, there's always just a picture or whatever. But I asked everyone, are you 18? And those that said no, I'm so sorry. And got rid of them.

I got rid of them by kind of, you know, deleted them from the screen. But then it just went bad. It went really bad.

And I was getting people saying, yeah, I'm 18. But then other people saying no, they're not because they knew who they were. And like, so I had to get rid of them.

And it got to the point where I just didn't know what was going on. There was a couple of really, really friendly people that came on. And quite a few friendly people in the, that were typing in, like in support of me, which was nice.

But it was, it was proper. I'll be honest, it was quite upsetting. It's quite upsetting.

And the things that was being hurled at me, as it were, and all I was doing was trying to help, like really, I'll never go, I'll go live, maybe I was yesterday, I thought, I'm never gonna go live again. Never. Then I thought, yeah, maybe I'll go live, but I will never let anyone come onto the screen.

Again, like yesterday, and talk and stuff. So people can say what they want in the comments. I can't, I can hardly see the comments with my eyesight, because I've got my phone in front of me.

That's what I'm doing the live on. I can't see what it says in the comments, hardly all. So and a lot of it is people using slang that I don't even understand.

So I couldn't try, you know, I could read it out and actually be saying something really rude, and not knowing it. So I generally don't know. I don't know what, what to do.

So what I'm going to do, I want to say hello to everyone. Thanks, everyone for visiting. Thanks, everyone for watching the video on YouTube.

Thanks for everyone listening on the podcast. And I will get on with the recording. I'm also going to, if today gives me enough time, two things I want to do actually, but I'd like to make another relaxation session.

And when my razor comes through when the charge for my beard razor thing, I'm going to shave my head. So I'm thinking of doing that. I'll do a live and I'll make that video stick that on YouTube as well.

So I thought it might be funny to do. What's worse than having ants in your pants, a giraffe up your bum? I don't know. So someone's asked me that.

So that was weird. It's a very weird experience. Because it's not that I take myself seriously, because I don't.

But it's hard to be. I'm not used to people being rude to me, which might sound weird considering I'm online. But I've carved out a, I guess a part of the internet that I maneuver around, which is the podcasts for sleeping, relaxing, chronic pain relief, boring stuff just to help people to calm down, calm your mind down and stuff like that.

And that is, it's quite a safe place. It's supposed to be a safe place for people watching and listening. And I realized that TikTok isn't the safest place.

So maybe if I continue doing what I'm doing, I can make it a little bit safer. Emotionally, I mean, not in any other way. But then I was getting people accusing me of almost making it unsafe without going into details like, and I thought then they're accusing me of stuff like, next time I do a live one, I'm gonna wear clothes.

So here I am. So and so I do want to do a relaxation session. Maybe a nice 20 minute calm session.

Because as I said, I've had people all ages listening to me over the years, watching videos, because everybody of any age will need to relax at some point. Everybody, wherever you are in the world, has times when anxiety gets too much. And maybe having that reduced, or maybe your mind is overactive, something you're worried about or something like that.

And when you listen to me, you listen to my voice, your mind can naturally start to slow down. And it's not that you're trying to slow yourself down. It's not that you're trying to relax your shoulders, or your arms, or your chest or your back.

It's just it happens naturally. You're not trying to get your breathing to slow down and maybe become breathe, you know, deeper. Because it just happens naturally.

It's one of those things that I learned about my voice and about when I talk that I'm either relaxing or very boring. Some would say very boring, some would say relaxing. I'm okay with both.

Because I've also got my podcast, Let Me Bore You To Sleep. I've also got sleep hypnosis, relaxation, hypnosis recordings. You know, so I've got lots of different things I do.

But ultimately, it's all about relaxation. It's all about calming your mind, calming your body, almost giving yourself permission to let go. You know, sort of not getting in your own way.

Allowing yourself to, for example, to let your feet just relax. I mean, some people walk around, they've got their jaw all tight. Just allow it, give it permission.

Give your jaw permission just to feel loose. And maybe just move it from side to side. Open up a little bit.

And you can notice the different parts of your body as they relax. And the more you notice the different parts of your body relaxing, the more you'll notice those parts that maybe need to relax. And that might feel like it's like the opposite to what you want.

I don't want to notice the things, the parts of me, stressed, or the body, you know, the muscles tight, you know, by noticing them allows you to open your mind to the idea of letting those parts relax. See, I just one of my favorite things is to close my eyes. But of course, you don't do that if you're busy doing something else.

And that's why I suggest you only listen to this recording when you're lying down or sitting down. And you can safely close your eyes. But for the sake of relaxation purposes, you can listen to it.

But you know, just don't be driving or anything like that. Because my voice is incredibly boring, slightly boring. A little bit boring, maybe.

So I'm kind of glad Christmas is over. New Year's done. And I started thinking about what, what's the future gonna hold for 2026.

And what really threw me off on New Year's Eve was I was watching EastEnders. And the weirdest thing happened. Max Branning, like was having flash forwards to 2027.

And then the next episode, which was yesterday, there was all this stuff going on that was based in 2027. I'm very confused. Very, very confused.

And he said, well, I looked it up and said, it's just a glimpse of what's ahead. Has EastEnders ever done that before? I don't think so. I've never known any soap to ever do that.

But again, I might be wrong. I was wrong once before. It's quiet, it's nice.

There's no one in the garden shouting. I've got the windows closed, but I've got the curtains drawn over. So no lights on in here.

It's bright. Bearing in mind, you know, it's winter. It's really cold out there.

Really cold. I could feel I felt like the wind was going through my chest. It just or bitter, bitter, bitter, bitter, bitter, bitter.

And no snow. I know that some people around the world or the country rather, in the UK, I've got snow, Scotland, parts of Midland, middle England, I think. Derby, maybe Birmingham, maybe Manchester.

And perhaps it's moving down. So I'm in the east, the southeast. So maybe it's moving down to where I am.

But right now it's a blue sky. And if this was July, I'd be looking out that window thinking, oh, there's a blue sky, which I'm doing now. And I guess there's no change.

But I'd be thinking, oh, it's really, really nice hot day out there. I'm not thinking that now. Because I've been outside and I know it's not hot.

Plus, it's January. Yeah, you know what I mean? It's like it looks like a really beautiful summer's day. I mean, it's still nice, but that sun is deceiving.

It's almost like it's bright, but I'm looking at the sun. I'm thinking, well, where's the heat? Come on, baby. Give me some heat.

Nothing. Just. Yeah.

So I took him out. I took him out yesterday. Vinnie, this is.

I did some washing yesterday. So I was coming to the end of my clothing. You know, I kind of had one pair of tracksuit bottoms left and I think one T-shirt or two T-shirts.

So I thought I'd do some washing, wash my towel, just do that. And then I'll get them dry, do them in like midday, stick them on the railings above the window because the radio below it. So I have all open all the windows in my bedroom.

So I open all the windows wide, put them on the railings, the curtain railings, and then the heating drives them, plus this air coming in the whole time as well. I do that winter or summer. And I just.

So I was quite pleased to have got that done. And I did cook for myself yesterday. I cooked sausage, beans and mash.

So bangers and mash basically with some beans. I got a new thing. This is really not exciting, but to me, it's super exciting, which perhaps means I need to get myself a hobby.

So I got this thing where. I cook the potatoes. I mean, sometimes I did this yesterday.

I put the potatoes into a pan like a saucepan. I boil. Yeah, I get the water to boil and then I put the lid on, take the saucepan off or leave the saucepan on, but just turn the cooker off.

And then it just leave it for like an hour, hour and a half and it cooks the potatoes, even though there's no more heat coming in. It just it just cooks and it's. I guess steamed itself, I don't know.

And then I did the sausages in the air fryer, but left the potatoes in the water of the saucepan. Don't worry, this this I haven't got to the exciting part yet. Um, then then.

I so I was in here and I set the the sausages 12 minutes in the air fryer. So I left them for 12 minutes. I still left the saucepan with the potatoes in with the water left in there when the sausages were done.

Well, actually, before the sausages were done, I got a small tin of beans, opened it ready. When the sausages had finished, I came out and I emptied the water. Out of the saucepan for the potatoes, and then I poured the cold beans in there, a little bit of milk.

And I mashed up the potatoes into a mash. I turned the hob back on just to get a little bit of heat into the potatoes again. And so the potatoes aren't complete, the baked beans aren't completely cold, because you can eat baked beans cold anyway.

And it was perfect, because baked beans don't take hardly any time at all to heat up. And I just heated that up and it was like, oh, and the sausages were ready. Now, there was a time when I used to put the sausages in the top of the mashed potato, like sticking up.

But I don't know, I'm not quite as artistic as I used to be. I don't worry so much about presentation as I did in my 20s. Food presentations are not the top of my list anymore.

I mean, it's only going to go in, isn't it? You're going to go in your mouth and eat it. It doesn't really matter what it's... I mean, you don't want it to look horrible, but you don't need it to look like a masterpiece, I don't think, personally. That's my own personal thing.

I got happy for it. I prefer the taste, that's my thing. I'd rather have a taste over appearance.

Now, if it looked... Yeah, if it looked like the insides of a toilet, then perhaps I wouldn't... Yeah, that wouldn't probably be good. I mean, it's going to end up looking like the insides of a toilet, isn't it, I suppose? But, you know, to start with, I mean... But I do like the sausages to be whole. I don't cut stuff up for, you know, it's like... I don't mean I put it in my mouth and try and swallow the whole thing whole, because that's not what I do, and that wouldn't be a good idea.

So I still have the sausages. Sometimes I put them on the outside, so it kind of surrounds the mashed potato. But I think yesterday I put the mashed potato on top of the sausages, after I'd sprinkled some tomato ketchup on the sausages.

And I kind of realised I prefer the mashed potato ketchup, tomato ketchup in mashed potato, is one of my favourite things. One of my... Not my all-time favourite things, there's other things I do like in life. Chocolate, that's a full one.

Other things, yeah. Other things I prefer over tomato ketchup in mashed potato. I'm just saying I like mashed potato with tomato ketchup, and it's not the same as having baked beans in tomato ketchup, in the mashed potato.

Wow. I'm only talking about three objects, I'm struggling to remember which ones are which. Now I've got to talk about sausages.

Vinnie didn't even want a sausage last night. I mean, this is the sausage king, but I don't know why he didn't want one. And there used to be a time when I could give him a sausage and he'd take it all in his mouth, and he'd run off.

Now he wants me to break it up into little bits and give it like a little baby. Sometimes he wants me to pretend it's a little plane. Like, open wide.

Like, maybe he's reverting. I mean, now he'll be four years old at the end of February. Can you believe I've had him for three years, over three years, and he still doesn't like me.

What do I have to do for him to like me? It's almost like I'm an inconvenience. I would say to him, I'm like a like a sandwich shop. You know? You know, maybe you're at work or wherever you and you're at your lunch break and you go to the sandwich shop, maybe five days a week.

And you get your sandwich, or maybe you go to Greg's and you see the member of staff behind the counter and you kind of get used to seeing them. And maybe you say hello to them, but you might not want to actually spend time with them outside, you know? You might, you might, but you know, it's like, I think that's how he sees me. I'm just a convenience and I'm where he gets his food.

And I'm the one that takes him out for his WALKS. But outside of that, I don't think he really rates me at all. Doesn't seem to be that interested.

I think it's just the way he is. He's just naturally, I mean, he loves people. That's the weird thing about it.

He loves all other people, but me, not so much. I mean, maybe, maybe he does, but he doesn't show it. He does cuddle up to me when I'm on the sofa.

So maybe that's him showing it and I stroke him and have my hand on him. And yeah, maybe sometimes he puts his chin on my leg, looks up at me, laughs, and then looks back at the telly. So maybe he does care.

I don't know. But I think it might be a Jack Russell thing. They're quite, I think they're quite volatile little doggies.

And if I was going to choose one, of course, I've got him now. So that's it. But if I was going to choose one, I would do a bit more research because he came into my life by accident.

So I might have probably told this story before. I know I have, but basically, it was in December, two, three years ago, three years ago. And 2023.

2022 2022. Blimey. I can't believe Yeah.

So yeah, December 2022. I had a knock at my door. It's a Saturday, probably afternoon, early afternoon.

And it's my friend downstairs. And he he wasn't downstairs. He was upstairs, but he lives down.

He used to live downstairs. So it's my friend at the door. We had, I knew his knock.

He had a special knock. So I knew who it was. Plus, he used to shout, Jason.

So yeah, that was also a giveaway. And he opened the door and he's standing there with his dog. And then this thing ran through my legs.

This tiny thing too fast to even see ran through my legs and into my flat. And I genuinely didn't know what it was. And he was laughing.

My friend was laughing. And like, okay, what's going on here? And it turned out well, I guess I don't need to tell you it turned out to be a dog because you know, I'm talking about Vinnie. But it turned out to be him.

And he was 10 months old. He needed a new home. And my friend said he was going to buy him for me.

So I don't know. He said, Well, he's got, he needs a new home. And otherwise he's going to be he won't have anywhere to live.

I was like, Oh, I didn't really want a dog. I didn't want any pets at all at that time. Because I'd had a ferret who left me a year earlier.

And I still wasn't really ready to or year and a half I wasn't ready to take on like a new responsibility. And I don't know, it just kind of happened. It's like suddenly he's there.

He's so excitable and he's cute as anything. And he's so excited running around jumping on my bed. Just super excited.

I thought okay. And I ended up staying there forever since then. And he got on really well with my friend's dog, the big dog.

And he generally my friend's dog did not like other dogs of any kind. Especially little dogs. Oh, no.

But they got on really, really well. So I was like, Oh, okay. So I thought, Yeah, let's do this then.

Why not? And it was weird because as soon as everyone left, he wanted to leave. He didn't want to stay here with me. Didn't know who I was.

Never met me before. I guess those two sentences didn't need to be said today. I mean, if he didn't know who I was, then he couldn't have met me.

And if net if he didn't never met me before, he probably couldn't have known who I was either. I suppose someone could have mentioned to him but you know, I don't think the dog conversation kind of works like that. We didn't like look at me so Oh, you're what's his name's neighbor friend.

I've heard about you. You'd like to wear pink, pink t shirts on live broadcasts. Don't use it.

Yeah, that's me. Yeah. Yeah.

They're very, very feminine. I hear like no, pink is not feminine pinkies whatever. He said but but Lily said that pink doesn't matter.

I think pink is fine. I like pink. In fact, in 2004.

I'm not saying that everything I wore was pink. But I had pink and white and pastel colors, light pastel colors. Everything I was wearing was that for like the whole of the summer.

I don't know why. I just went through a period of just wearing nice summery clothes. Yeah.

Anyway, the first night together, he wouldn't even come into my bedroom. We didn't want anything to do with me. In fact, I think he sat not by the front door, which is a little bit and he slept on the settee I think for the first for the first few nights.

And then and then he started. Yeah, he started jumping on the bed and going to sleep on the bed. But I just had to I just want to say hi to Ambs.

Hi to Macy. So the reason I'm saying hi is because Ambs was one of the people that was nice to me yesterday on my live. So just want to say thanks.

Thank you to you to her. And thank you to everyone else. It was nice.

But there was a lot of people that weren't as I've already talked about. This recording will be this video, although I'm doing it live, I'm also videoing it as well. So it will be available on my page when I finish.

So the weird thing about it when I get with him with Vinnie this is I didn't feel that he was weird because he was jumping on the settee. And he didn't know how to approach me. It's almost like he was scared.

Not scared, scared, but like, really concerned. I mean, he jumped on the back of me. And, you know, like put his body where my head was.

And then he jumped down. And then he caught on my on my lap. Then he jumped down.

It's like he was trying to get comfortable. So Ambs says, have I got a better crowd today? Yeah, no one's really been rude. I've not not taken anyone on live but no one's been rude in the in the chat as far as I see.

Although I can't see it very well with my eyesight, with my glasses. And it's just such a tiny screen. And I don't know why people put like a figure of money though, for some reason.

Someone's just put randomly 500 pound, some people put 100 pound, 200 pound, I don't know what that's about. I'm so out of touch with always pretending that he sent it to me. Okay, cool.

Well, thanks. If you have 7500 pounds, that'd be very nice. Unlikely though, isn't it? But so I'm not on here asking for anything.

So Vinnie, it was weird because when I first started taking him out, he didn't bark at anyone. Didn't bark at any dogs. He was excited to see people and dogs.

But he didn't bark at any dogs. And then over time, he kind of got his voice. And he became vocal.

And it was it was it was barking in here. Like any sound, anyone knocking on the door. And whenever there was a dog on the TV, so a big TV, so it jumped down, barking at the telly.

And then if the if the dog went off the telly, you know, off the screen, he would go around trying to see the dog. So go to the side of the telly looking behind it, trying to see where the dog's gone. Which did I find quite funny.

And that's one of the things that annoys me now though, because I try and watch a movie. And whenever a dog comes onto the screen, I know that if he sees it, because sometimes he's asleep. And then I just like, okay, if I turn the volume down, and there's no barking, maybe I can get through it without him barking.

But it just ruins the movie a little bit. So yeah, we're gonna have to take him out again. He didn't go to the toilet properly today.

So I don't know. He's not eating his dinner. Not really sure what's going on with him.

I mean, he'll eat. TREEETS all day long. So he doesn't have an issue with eating.

You know, I've sort of checked his teeth out, make sure his teeth are fine. He hasn't got an issue with teeth. I can see his stomach's fine because he's been going to the toilet like normal, but just didn't go today yet.

So I don't know quite what's going on with him. Overspoiled, I think, is probably what's happened. I've given him too much, especially over Christmas, because he got quite a few Christmas gifts from neighbours that were all edible, as it were.

And he'd prefer to eat that over food. And he also likes to eat my food, if he can as well. So it's, you know, he's flapping his ears now.

Oh, you know what I have to do today? I have to order some food. It's all about food. So I have to order Uber Eats online to deliver some groceries.

And I just, I mean, technically, I don't have to stay in for them to deliver, because there's not going to be any alcohol or anything. So there's nothing to, well, I have to give them a code or my date of birth. Although I did get some, before they started doing that, they used to say, we might have to ask you your date of birth.

And I remember I got a delivery, I think it was last year or maybe before that. And I said, aren't you going to ask me my date of birth to see if I'm over 18? And he just laughed, he walked away laughing. I mean, literally, he was laughing.

He came back the next day. I don't know, three days later, he delivered some stuff to my neighbour. And he was still laughing.

That's a bit rude. So someone just say hi, beautiful Baldy. Well, I will be a Baldy because I'm going to shave my head later.

And when I do shave my head, I'm going to do it on live. And I'm going to make a little video of it as well. I'll stick that on YouTube and on my TikTok page.

So I've done that before. There's some videos of me on YouTube of me shaving my head. So invite Jean-Claude Van Damme as co host now.

If I thought he would come on it, I would but I doubt he would want to be my co host. Jean-Claude Van Damme. Wow.

There are some very famous people. I bet no one gives him hassle. I bet no one goes on to Jean-Claude Van Damme or The Rock's page or I don't know, some of the big stars and say, why is an old man like you on TikTok? They're not going to do that are they? Someone's got millions and millions of followers that's in movies.

So don't do it to me. So there. Yeah, I don't know.

I need to order some ready break. I need to order some currants and dried fruit. It's really weird.

As I'm saying this. I'm more aware of how boring I'm sounding because it's live as opposed to when I'm just making a podcast. I forget how boring it is.

Even though it's supposed to be boring and relaxing. I just, I suppose I feel a bit judged. I feel, you know, when I'm doing a podcast, I'll upload it.

People who listen, listen, those that don't, don't. And I don't get much feedback, either negative or positive. And whatever feedback I do get is generally positive.

I don't get much feedback at all, but it's generally positive. YouTube's a little bit different. Although I'm pretty much okay.

I don't get much negativity on there. I used to in the past. And on here, you know, it's kind of a mixture, isn't it? So I don't know.

I don't know. So I'm just going to read a couple of couple of these messages. If someone really understood you, what would they understand first? I'm trying to help people.

That's why I'm doing what I do. So I'm a decent person, I suppose. I'm a good daddy to Vinnie.

I don't know. I like to if I was going to be remembered for something, then I'd like to be remembered for this. I mean, this particular recording, but for what I've done last 20 years, hopefully it'll be 30 or 40 years by the time you know.

But I'd like to be remembered for what I've done. And those people that I've managed to help. Because from the outside, and people that may be watching or listening for the first time and just think what the hell is he doing? He's just waffling on about nothing.

Well, if listening to somebody like me is useful for relaxing you, for calming down your mind, reducing anxiety, maybe even sending you to sleep, or reducing your chronic pain, then that's useful, I believe. And the more you listen to me, and maybe some people you will actually back me up on this one. And the more you listen, the more relaxed you'll feel.

It could even get to the point where just thinking of me thinking of my boring voice causes you to feel more relaxed. Whether it's physically or mentally. And it might not seem like that when you first come across me.

You know, first, it might be like, Oh, what the heck's going on here? But he's wearing a pink t-shirt. That's not right. He shouldn't be wearing a pink t-shirt.

So like that really has anything to do with anything at all. He's seen what I'm wearing underneath. Nothing, there's nothing underneath.

Why am I saying that? Like nothing other than skin, skin, skin. So I need to get some dried fruit, ready break. It's breakfast cereal.

I do need to get some frozen bits, I need to get some potatoes, and some beans. In fact, I'm kind of coming near the end of all of my stuff. Although I do have a pizza that I could eat.

I've got two pizzas in fact. So technically, I could get my delivery tomorrow. Yeah, because then I can cook a pizza from the freezer.

Or I can take the pizza out of the freezer, let it defrost and then stick it fold it up and put it in the air fryer and then cook it. The only problem with doing that is it's hard to kind of really know when it's done. Because folded over and the outside is going to be kind of crispy or cooked.

But whether or not the inside, which would have been the top, you know, when it was flat, will that be cooked? I don't know. I don't have the answer for that. I don't have the answer for lots of things.

You know what I was actually this morning, I had my breakfast. And I listened to yesterday's sleep. No yesterday's relaxation hypnosis, which I posted on YouTube.

And it was the video. Because I did also do the podcast version. So this is just the video.

It's the same one as what I posted on TikTok as well. Normally, when I listen to one of my recordings, I'm sitting there a while I'm listening to it, you know, just maybe kind of judging it a bit like I could have done this could have done that. And just a little bit, you know, because I'm kind of listening to see how it's coming along.

But on I honestly, I think I must have just fell asleep straight away. So whatever was in that recording, it did the trick. Because I was gone.

And then that one lasted for about 36 minutes. I was also an hour and a half, an hour and a half into another recording another video, which was like a meditation recording, which wasn't mine. It just it someone else's that was on YouTube.

Because I don't have adverts on YouTube. Like, I don't remember. I know, we're not necessarily going to remember falling asleep.

You know, the exact moment. But I can usually remember the pre falling asleep. You know, so it's kind of I must have literally just gone straight away.

And that's my voice doing that to me. So I don't listen to my recordings, because I like listening to my own voice. That's not the reason.

I listened to my recordings, because I need to. I need to sort of test them out to see if they're useful, to see if they work. And I just found them to be just Yeah, this one yesterday was like, Wow, it knocked me right out.

I was fast asleep for nearly two hours. So yeah, so there is a benefit of watching my videos regularly, listening to my podcast regularly. Because I know some people wouldn't want to admit that they have any kind of anxiety or stress.

But millions of people do. And I can be the antidote to that. Maybe a boring antidote.

But now, it's kind of hopefully useful. And that's kind of what I'm trying to do. I mean, every now and then I do do do do do do I feel like I'm doing an introduction to what I do.

But I think every now and then it's probably possibly useful to do that. Even though most of the people who will be listening to this on the podcasts will be regular, regular listeners, some of whom have been listening to me for years. But there's also going to be people that have never heard me before, if I can get my words out, or ever seen me before.

So it's also good to the thing is, you know, when I do the lives, quite often people just like what are you doing? Were you why are you waffling on like that? So it's not necessarily obvious what I'm up to. That makes sense. When you look at the podcast, you know, it might have a title, relaxation session, relaxation, hypnosis, sleep hypnosis, or Let Me Bore You To Sleep.

You know, the title is kind of self explanatory. So, you know, I would say, at the very least, my aim is to help you feel more relaxed in the whole of your body, or if you want to focus on one particular part of your body to relax. Because that's the thing with say hypnosis, if you want to talk, call it that, or just focus any feeling you have in a part of your body, you can decrease or increase.

So if it's unpleasant, you can decrease that feeling. If it's pleasant, you can increase that feeling as much as you want to. So, for example, my lower back, I have a few issues with my lower back.

If I focus on it, I can increase the sense of relaxation. And that's another thing, I get relaxed, I feel relaxed, all the way through, you know, the longer I talk, the more relaxed I feel. And sometimes it's hard for me to even keep my eyes open because I'm just really calm and peaceful.

So it's quite nice to feel loose and calm. And you know, sometimes people aren't even aware that they're feeling that they're maybe they're stressed or anxious. Perhaps they're used to those feelings.

It's almost natural to feel that way. And they might not know any different. But then you start listening to me, start hearing my voice, whether it's relaxing you due to boredom, or just because you find whatever, however, you find my voice, as you listen, you can notice changes in your body.

You can notice that you feel differently. You feel calmer. You can notice that your mind slows down.

Perhaps you can feel you feel clearer, like your your mind is maybe more focused, more peaceful. It's a nice feeling. I think it might not be a feeling you want to be walking around all day in.

It might you might enjoy the feeling of having lots of energy and, you know, feel all pumped up and, you know, on the go. There's definitely a benefit, I would say to everybody, to be able to naturally relax. Even if it is just when you're at home, sitting down or lying in your bed.

And also relaxing your back. Some people have back, millions of people have got back problems. So what you could do is notice that the muscles in your back really do start to relax when you listen to me.

Which doesn't only just relax your back, but it reduces any of those feelings that you don't want to have in your back. Any discomfort. Sometimes it's a weird thing.

It can sometimes become almost like an itch, but not the type of itch that you need to scratch. Just a very slight itch under the skin and you can feel those muscles transforming, loosening. Almost like you're giving your back a rest from supporting your shoulders or your chest, your stomach, your head.

Your back's just taking a break. A nice rest. To just let go.

So yeah, I quite like the idea of having something that's regularly there for me as well as for other people. Where you can visit and revisit and gain some kind of benefit. Because when you do start to relax, when you really kind of listen every day, maybe for a week or two, you start to notice changes.

Maybe you're less irritable. Maybe you can think things through when perhaps you struggled before. Perhaps certain things are now, they just feel easier to achieve.

Whether it's an exam or whether it's meeting people for the first time, a big social event, whatever it is that perhaps was causing those unpleasant physical or emotional feelings, it's almost like they melt away. It's almost like my voice just melts away anxiety and stress, leaving you feeling relaxed and peaceful. You can maybe take time to appreciate your own body, appreciate your own ability to let go, to feel more relaxed, to experience more peace.

So I'm going to bring this recording to an end. And just for anyone there, just let you know on live on TikTok, thank you for watching. I also recorded this on my for my podcast where lots of people will be listening and also for my YouTube video.

So I've recorded a video there as well. So there. So I'd like to say thank you.

And remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy. Be gentle with yourself. You deserve to feel safe.

And remember that you're already enough and you're going to be okay. Take care. Lots of love.

Bye.
