Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name is Jason Newland and please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. Vinnie is hassling me.

Why are you hassling me? You want to get on my lap? I think in reality Vinnie wants to go to bed and I kind of do myself Soon. Very soon. Very, very soon.

Oh, so today is Wednesday, the 4th of February, 2026. I've got no more treats for you, mate. You've eaten all your food.

You've had nothing but treats. Give me kisses anyway. He'll kiss me, but if I don't give him anything back in return, he gets very, very spiteful.

Don't you? You spiteful little monkey. Yes, you are. So today I have been very much doing what I did yesterday and the day before and I have made three new hypnosis recordings each day of this week so far.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Nine new hypnosis recordings, all aimed at relaxation. And it is a bit neckarine, if I'm honest.

I'm not sure if I can keep it up, but hey, we will see. We will see. And both those days, yesterday and the day before, I also, also, also, also did Let Me Bore You To Sleep as well.

So did I do one last night? I'm pretty sure I did. Yeah, because I edited, well, I planned to edit it in the morning. And I woke up about half past six, I think it was.

And I came in here. So I must have gone to bed about half 11. Woke up about half six, came in here and I was just nodding off.

I was trying to do the editing and I just, I just wasn't awake enough to do it. So I think I might have fallen, fallen back to sleep at my desk. And then I had my breakfast.

I don't know what you're trying to do, Vin. And then I did the editing. So, the reason why the hypnosis sessions are taking so long is because I'm doing extra special editing on them.

Trying to exclude all background sounds as much as possible. Now, you could argue, or why don't I do this, do that on these ones. Part of the reason, and it might sound weird, I want Vinnie to be in the background.

He's part of the, he's part of it in a weird way. Maybe I'm wrong. And not everyone's going to kind of agree with that.

But you know, provided he's not barking or anything. But this is, you might notice that he's on pretty much most of the Let Me Bore You To Sleep covers, the images, because he's biting me now. What I've had to do today is put him into the bedroom every time I make a recording.

Because he was just making so much noise. And it's hard to, I can get rid of the background sound in between me talking. But I can't get rid of the ones that happen whilst I'm talking.

If you know what I mean. So that's why I need to, I have to be very careful. If there's a sound outside, I will stop until that sound stops or goes down.

Or if there's neighbours over the fence that are shouty, shout talking, that they do, I'll wait until the shout talking becomes a bit more human level talking. Or maybe there's a gap. Maybe they've talked so much that they have to have a rest, have a sit down, you know, have a break, have a cup of tea.

Just allow their, their mouths to fill up with more words. However it works, I'm not sure. So also, Facebook, I locked out Facebook yesterday.

But now, and during the day, now I seem to have been able to get back into it. So what I'm going to do is send Cindy asked me Hi, Jason, I've been seeing Spudman videos on TikTok. So I was wondering if you've ever had a jacket potato? What are your favourite toppings? That reminds me I want to do Q&A Friday still.

I enjoy Q&A Fridays. And I can keep that private, but it's personal for us, you know, but it's for people that are on the Facebook group, the Jason Newlands Boring Group. Although, you know, if you're on YouTube, or anywhere, you ask me a question, I'll, I'll add it to it on TikTok, just need to put is for Q&A Friday.

This is nice to know that it's I just feels a bit more personal, you know. So I'm gonna, I need to post that. So if you've got a Q&A Friday question, please ask me wherever you are, whether it's YouTube, whether it's on Facebook, whether it's on TikTok, whether it's on Instagram, whether it's on X, on my website, you can leave a message.

So and anyone new to my recordings, I suppose I should point out that I do six different versions of each recording. So there's the short, short, long, and overnight recordings with or without music. And all my recordings are automatically added or uploaded to Spotify, Spreaker, and loads and loads of different places.

I'll give you a list actually, Apple podcasts, podcast addict, generic Android app, Overcast, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Castbox, Pocket Casts, Podbean, Podcast Republic, Audible, Deezer, iVoox, Alexa Media Player, Apple Core Media, Amazon Music, Antenna Pod, VLC, and Air Podcasts. Now Vinnie's trying to get a hold of the tin where his food was. But the tin's made of metal.

And he got hold of one and he ripped it to bits. And there's all these little bits of metal all over the carpet. Thin, but at the same time, I don't want him, well, first of all, I don't want him eating that stuff by accident.

And also treading on it. So I've had to keep it out of his reach. If he doesn't like.

Vinnie, we're gonna go to bed in a little while and then you'll have your treats on the bed like you normally do. So yeah, my YouTube channel as well was just under my name was Let Me Bore You To Sleep, Jason Newland, whatever, just search for that you'll find me very easy to find. There's a picture of a moon on the YouTube channel.

I've currently got 1642 subscribers. And they're probably getting a bit annoyed of all the new uploads. But I like to think it's been who else offers so much choice.

You know, just lots of choice. I think it's quite cool. No one else does what I do.

There's probably a reason why no one else does what I do. But you know, making so many different versions available. So also, I am some on tiktok under Jason Newland, or at Jason Newland, hypnotist.

And I've got 175 followers on there. So it's also, I am on Instagram. I've got 204 followers on Instagram.

So what I do is, I'm also on x got one follower, one follower on x. Although people are watching my videos, so I don't know who. So here's what I do. Some well, most of the hypnosis recordings are less than an hour, like the original normal ones before I make them longer.

But those recordings that I have, like these ones that sometimes often go on a lot longer than an hour. What I do is I download the video from YouTube onto my phone. I shorten the video to under an hour, if I need to.

And then I add it, I add that video to tiktok, Instagram and x. And I'm thinking now, I'm going to start doing the same with. Yeah, I think I'm going to start doing the same on Facebook as well. But I think on Facebook, I can see the entire thing.

You know, the whole video I'll be able to upload. So although it's a video, it's still just a static image, and my voice. But this, this is like a better option, because those that know what I do, or you know, know where I am would find me on YouTube or find me on my website.

But those that are maybe coming across me for the first time, can just click on it and listen there, wherever they are. So that seems like it might be a better way to do things, maybe. Yeah.

So that's what I'm doing. So I have, I've just been uploading the nostalgic calm to my various Facebook pages. I think that's what I'm going to start doing.

Just uploading those, instead of just putting an image with my web address. Finny, will you stop whining? Please, mate. I'll see if I'll give him some dry food.

Maybe that'll be enough. But I know. Are you really that hungry? Really? Mind you, I didn't eat hardly anything yesterday.

Okay. See, yeah, I'm just what's going on here? Ah, fair enough. So look.

So anytime I post on Instagram, it automatically comes on to one of my pages. Okay. The Jason Newland hip, Jason, I don't know, one of them.

I'm losing track. There you go. Here I go.

So I phoned up the council today, and I needed to sort out the toilet situation, the water flow in or whatever, not filling up properly, making loads of noise, all that stuff. And the lady on the phone, she said, Oh, it might be a you try to turn your taps on, might be a, like a trap bubble, air bubble. And I'm thinking, wait a minute.

That's not what I called for. I called for someone to come around and do it. I'd like that's like, we talking about it's like, are you a plumber? I didn't say that.

But like, he was. And I said, Look, it's not I've run all the taps. It's an issue that there was, they've already been out before for this issue.

And I had fixed it, but it's kind of come back again. And instead of making me a point an appointment, saying it will be someone to be around with you. A certain time between these hours, she just said, Well, I'll give a number to someone and they'll contact you.

No. So I'll be waiting all day. Got my phone on wondering if they're going to call me or not.

And I just don't kind of didn't know if I should go out or not, if they might just turn up. Because the communication with the council isn't always with any company versus the communications often not great between the different departments. So I can't.

I mean, can't really complain about that. Because that's, that's been the same with most of the jobs I've had as well. One department does one thing and other department does another thing.

You know, tell each other what they do in blah, blah, blah. So yeah. So I don't know what it's like.

I didn't know. I wonder if I just said, Oh, yeah, there's the windows hanging off. Well, have you got a window repair kit? Have you? No, I don't.

I need to send someone out. I don't want to go through it on the phone. I've had that with the hospital doctor surgery, where the receptionist was, I actually saw the receptionist, with my own eyes, diagnosing a small child to the mother.

And the receptionist came in to make an appointment with a doctor. And it was, it sounded like it was quite serious, you know, a worried parent. And the receptionist was given her own diagnosis.

Well, I think it's this. No, see a doctor. I mean, without doubt, doing a job like that, you're going to learn a lot about different ailments.

But still, you know, see a doctor. That would be my advice. And I was like, well, you can't diagnose people over the counter when you have no, I mean, who knows? This receptionist might be a retired doctor.

So I don't know, do I? They might have a lot of medical experience. I'm now contradicting myself. Brilliant.

Thanks. I can't even stand up for myself. I can't even back my own opinions.

It's not fair. Yeah, it does seem strange. But then I've dealt with the council in the past.

I don't want to say anything bad about them, because they're my landlady, Lord. And, you know, I'm grateful to have somewhere to live. But sometimes the the communication is difficult.

And I don't always know how, how serious they take the phone calls. Because I phoned up in the past and had nothing come of it. Phoned up multiple times left messages and still had nothing.

When we had mice here, we were calling the council leaving messages, nothing came of it. No one came around. No one contacted us.

I really didn't want to know. But if you leave, if you leave something outside your door, they shouldn't be there. You know, you come out and there'll be a big label on there saying, remove this, like a bike, remove this bike or it'll be removed tomorrow morning.

You know, do something like that. The council's on it. I mean, my neighbor downstairs, she left the bike outside her front door.

And this is enough room to get around. It wasn't like blocking anything, really, not, not really, maybe a little bit, but not too much. But it's just wasn't a regular thing.

The bike was soaking wet. She didn't want to take it into a flat until she dried it off. So she just left it there.

She didn't want to at night. I'm just going to sort it out in the morning. She woke up to the council, to a big sign on the council.

They didn't put on a bike. Oh, lovely. Someone's got their motorbike going.

He's very friendly, likes to share his motorbike noise at 11 in the evening. He's a good bloke. And, good old fella, good old fella.

So, what was I saying? I must have been saying something. Yo-yos? I was talking about yo-yos, I wasn't, was I? I think he's eating his dinner. So it's a bit weird.

He didn't eat hardly anything yesterday, but today he's had pretty much twice as much food. I've got to order some more food again. I mean, I've got six, six cans, six cans, six tins of food for £6.50 or something.

That's the food he likes. So I try and make one tin last a day, but, and give him dry food as well. But that doesn't seem to do the job sometimes.

Is it windy? Is it windy or is it me? I'm hearing something like planes, maybe wind. I'm not going out there now. I've done, me and Vinnie did our last wee of the night in the garden.

It was quite strange because my neighbour down there, I don't see him so much, but you know, in the summer he's out about and I kind of see him. He's quite elderly now. And normally he's got all his curtains drawn closed, but they're wide open for some reason.

And I'm just out there with my torch, my little torch thing, so I could see where Vinnie was. This was about half an hour ago, I think. And he was doing his wee wee and I kind of like looked, I just looked in there just to make sure he was okay.

I wasn't spying. I mean, one of the neighbours did ask about the binoculars, but I wasn't spying. I was just like looking because I, you know, I know the family, the family come around to see him and I like to just make sure he's okay.

I mean, did I need to have a flask of coffee? And a chair outside his house? I don't know, but I wasn't spying. I just, but I could see that he was okay. You know, he was, he was, he looked okay as far as it goes.

And then he looked out the window. This isn't weird. There's nothing funny about it.

I don't even know why I'm laughing. It just, I felt a bit weird because he looked out the window at me and I'm waving at him, but he's not waving back, which means he couldn't see it was me. Because if he could see it was me, he'd wave back because he knows me, you know.

But I didn't want to bang on his window. I would not walk up to his, he's got the like a double doors that he comes out into the garden. I didn't want to do that because that's not half 10 at night.

That seemed very inappropriate, especially as he clearly couldn't see it was me. So I didn't want to press my face against the window. So what I did is I put the light underneath my chin because I thought maybe he'd be able to see.

I don't know. I think about it. Perhaps I shouldn't have done that because it's probably freaky to see, but I thought he'd be able to see who I was then.

But, um, it probably gave a flashbacks to Halloween. So it was, I thought he looked like a, like a pumpkin, a walking pumpkin or something with a light inside. I didn't mean to do that.

So, yeah, um, yeah, it was a bit weird. So I kind of thought, come on Vinnie, let's go back inside. I didn't really know a way out of that because I was just trying to be friendly and sort of say hello to let him know there's nothing weird going on outside.

But he couldn't see it was me. But then it's outside. It's pitch black outside in the garden, other than my light.

So even if I looked outside and saw myself, I wouldn't know it was me. I probably wouldn't think it was me because I'm upstairs and I'm looking out the window, but you know what I mean? If it was someone else, I probably, I might not know who it is unless I hear them talking. Yeah.

But even then, if with a light, I mean, I kind of probably gauge roughly, you know, if it was like a little dog and there's a person I know, I know who the person is, who's got a dog like that. I don't know. I'm kind of making it up really, but I think I would.

But then if I looked out my window and I saw someone sitting there with binoculars, with a coconut on their head, maybe that would be weird. Also wearing those glasses with like swirls on them, you know, like those old hypnotic eyeballs. Maybe that wasn't a good idea either.

But you know, you do what you can, you do your best in life. That's what I find. I mean, I'm very, a big, a big advocate of helping very elderly people across the road, whether they want to or not.

You know, I just help them across. Sometimes they do shout, I don't want to go that way. But at least I know I'm trying, you know, that's the way I see it.

And I did get kicked out of a cinema once because there was a like a there was a blind couple watching a movie. And I know, you know, they can hear them, they can hear it and they get the the idea. But I didn't think that was enough.

Because I was trying to figure out, so I closed my eyes. And I was listening to the movie. And then I opened my eyes.

I thought, that's not the same movie. So what I did is, do you know, with the, you got the, the finger speakers, whatever. Deaf, I don't know what they're called.

But for deaf people, the, the fingers movements and stuff. What I thought I'd be like that for them. So I stood in front of I didn't try, I tried not to be in front of the actual screen, the cinema screen, but stood to the side.

And I just shouted out what was going on in the movie. I didn't want to, why am I doing with this? I mean, it literally is, it's not the same. If you listen to an audio book of the movie, let's say you listen to the, you watch Harry Potter, and you listen to the audio book of Harry Potter.

Or the audio movie, whether it's very different, because you've got a narrative. I know some movies do have narratives, but not, not all probably most movies don't. So I don't know.

I do sometimes get concerned about my own eyesight. It seems to have kind of deplenished somewhat over the years. And I don't know.

And then I so don't want to be that person who just complains about health conditions all the time. Because those people, I'm gonna say those people, but people that do that, are generally avoided, aren't they? We all know someone that's like that. And they might be a lovely person, and you might absolutely adore them.

But you know, as soon as you see them, you're going to have a two hour conversation about all their illnesses, and all the things that are going wrong. And even if you just won the lottery, you know, you're going to feel crappy at the end of the conversation. And it's not because you don't care, because you do because you love them.

You might absolutely adore them and you just wish them the best and you you know, you can get a little bit carnate a little bit. I remember my dad, he picked up my little brother when he was, that's when my, basically, the parents were separated. And I was living with my step grandmother's flat with my little brother and my step mum, and my step grandmother.

And my dad came to pick up my little brother. And he just, he wasn't invited in. But you know, he was like, he stood on the doorstep by our side said, Oh, how are you? And she reeled off about a good 10 minutes of all the different complaints she had.

And I'm just listening. And at the end of it, my dad said, Oh, that's good. And I probably laughed the most that I'd laughed in about a year at that.

Now, my dad wasn't making fun of her. He just wasn't listening. That's all it was.

He wasn't listening to learn not to listen. Because that's, that's kind of what she did a lot of. She used to just talk and talk and talk about ailments and stuff.

Yet she still lived to be very, very elderly. She nearly made 100. So if you think about it, if you know you're going to get to 100 nearly, is there any point moaning about you this stuff really, you know? It's like, well, I don't know.

Maybe. I've got a friend who really been through it physically at an early age, like, like health wise. And I saw her probably last year.

And she's emotionally seriously emotionally affected by having had the illnesses in the past and all different things. And it's all she ever used to talk about. Not all, but yeah, there was a time when she used to have fun and be friendly and happy.

And, and last time I saw her, she was, she was deep into the, what do you call them? Oh, what's it called? You know, when I could be anything right now, couldn't it? conspiracies. She was really into conspiracies. So I guess she was putting her negative energy into something else other than herself, which I suppose is still, it's a bit healthier than focusing on that negativity on herself for all those years, because I'd known her for 15 years, probably more, 17 years.

And it did get to a point where it was like every conversation was about the same thing. And I could, I'm concerned that I'm going to end up like that. Because you know, my lower back, I'm now going to complain about my lower back.

Warning, warning. It's not improving, let's put it this way. And if it continues the way it's going, I might end up having to have a, like having to a walking stick or something.

Seriously, it's getting pretty bad. And I don't think I could do that. I don't think, I mean, I don't think I could walk around with a walking stick.

I don't know if I've got it in me to, I have dreams when I'm in a wheelchair. I don't know why, but maybe it's just preparing me, but it's, it's weird. I just wonder if I'm going to end up being like a real old rascal.

Not caring, not caring what anyone thinks, saying whatever I want to whoever I want, and thinking I can get away with it because I'm old and disabled. So therefore no one can do anything about it. Which there is some truth in that.

But I don't really want to be like that. When I am disabled mentally, but not, not physically. So I just, yeah, that's, that concerns me.

Little things like that concern me. It's not what, it's not how I want to be remembered. That's why I was thinking about my dad.

Because when I'm gone, my dad's going to be like, oh, this has gone serious. I'm sorry, but I know that I'm, I'm an embarrassment to him. So he's got four children, four sons, like biological sons.

He's also got a daughter and a son as well from a second marriage, third marriage. But there is kids as well, because he's been, he's known them since he was little, for 30 odd years. So there's still, there's, I'm sure you see, you know, they've got kids, and they're his grandchildren.

It's not a biological thing at all. He loves them as much as he could do, if they were his own blood. But out of the four kids, the four boys, really, he's only, he doesn't really see the oldest two.

So, and he's got me and my little brother that he has contact with. And I know he's, because he's, my little brother was always his favourite. So he's fully kind of like full on, proud of my little brother, whatever he does, because they just get on really, really, very close.

They got on really well, really, really well, which is brilliant for them. And it's weird, even at 55 years old, I still want my dad to be proud of me. It's kind of ridiculous.

I kind of want him to say it. I want him to, to think of me as being a success, rather than an embarrassment. Because he doesn't, I know, I realise I'm talking for him, and it's not fair to really do that, because I don't know what's really, what's going on inside his mind.

But I know he's not interested in anything I do, like this. And I've devoted the last 20 years of my life to this. And every now and then I try and say, you know, I help people.

And it's almost, it's a Bill joke, it's a Bill Hicks joke, but it's like showing a card trick to a dog. Yeah, it's not my joke, Bill Hicks. But that's what it is when I tell him that I'm doing this and try and explain that it's actually meaningful.

Showing a card trick to a dog. See, I could have done my own version of that joke. But nope, I'm going to give it to Bill Hicks because he deserves that.

Because it's a very, it's very funny. So she would imagine a dog just turning its head from side to side. Because all dogs, of course, sound like Scooby Doo.

Oh, Vinnie stopped moving then. Do you like that sound Vinnie? Maybe it is an actual dog sound. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.

So yeah, I thought about maybe, because this is really silly, it's a silly idea, and I probably won't do it. But I thought about writing a book, just putting together a bunch of testimonials from people who have helped. Not sort of old people, just yeah, I was feeling a bit tense, listened and it was relaxing, which is brilliant if I can do that.

But people that I've helped in a, maybe, you know, a big, quite a big way, like I've been beneficial to those people. There's a few people out there who have, I mean, it's not me helping, is it? It's, the recordings are there and it's the person helping themselves by listening to me, maybe, but, but I thought that'd be quite cool if I put together a book and just gave it to him on his 80th birthday, which is in April, and said, here you are.

And have everyone address, basically, write a letter to him.

Dear Daddy Newland. And Newland, Newland, sorry. Now I'm the only one in the whole family that says Newland, everyone else says Newland.

Dear Mr. Newland, Dear Daddy Newland, just want to let you know that your son, mention my name though, yeah? Because he probably just assumes it's my little brother, if he's saying anything nice. And he said, your son, Juicy JJ, really helped my Veruca. I don't know, something like that.

I thought about this years ago, just put it together like a pad, you know, just a bunch of piece of paper for him to read through. But there's a real insecurity there, isn't there, for me, thinking that way. Why would I want, why would I care what someone, why would that care, why would I care what someone else thinks? Why, why? It doesn't really make sense.

Not really. I suppose it does, but it, it doesn't in the same way, to me anyway. Yeah, I don't know.

I mean, I remember him saying to me once, this is a hobby. Because I wasn't earning any money, therefore it's a hobby. So, if you volunteer in a hospice, is that a hobby? I'm not comparing myself to volunteering in a hospice, I'm just saying, if you do volunteer work, if you're a volunteer firefighter, is that a hobby? If you volunteer to be on the lifeboats, you know, is that a hobby?

It's not, is it? I never really classed this as a hobby.

I know it's not in the same, the same thing as, you know, going into fires and saving people's lives and, you know, stuff like that. I realise that, but it's still not a hobby. Or is it a hobby? Maybe it is.

I did see something quite interesting today. I was watching a YouTube video and I, it was about Jim Rohn. So, it was him talking, but it was, it was like a, basically, it's 10 minutes long.

So, in a nutshell, in a nutshell, the sentence is this, find something that's easy for you to do and work hard at it. So, it's not find something that you're bored, that bores you, not something that you're not interested in. So, you know, you've also got to be really interested in it as well.

But find something that you naturally are good at. So, we've all got our skills. And his, his idea was, you've really got to stop boning, Vinnie.

You've got your food over there. You're just trying to get stuff. No, you've got food.

You don't have to have wet food all the time. You've got food, dry food, have that. Stop being such a moaner.

Or do you just want to go to bed? You want to go to bed, don't you? We're going to go to bed soon. Just go on to the settee for a little bit. He started, he started recently telling me when it's bedtime.

Because up to recently, we were going to bed about 10. Pretty much every night. And now I've been going a little bit later.

And he's confused. He doesn't know what to do with it. It's like, but it's bedtime, Daddy.

It's not bedtime. No, it is. It's not.

But it really is. Let's have a look. How many? What's the stats for today? Okay, good.

What's the stats, Mr. Wolf? So that's what I'm going to be doing. I think uploading videos to Facebook as well. Maybe I'll just put the most up to date ones because otherwise it'll be very cloggy.

There'll be a lot of stuff to get through. So maybe I'll just upload the last three that I did today. Yeah, I think I'll do that.

Yeah, I'll do that. What's that? You're commenting as just on new land. So I need to do is go to just hypnotist.

Right. And then go to Jasson balling group. Authentic stillness, right? nostalgic calm.

So what I'll do is I will download the last nostalgic calm. Authentic stillness, attention reset. So I'll do that attention reset.

I'll upload that to the group. Yeah. Because that's one of the things when I start doing more stuff.

I'm starting to lose track of what I've done. Which may sound weird, but I'm just okay. Have I uploaded that? Have I shared that on Facebook? And because I wasn't able to get onto Facebook, the answer was no.

I haven't shared it on Facebook. Really haven't. No.

Can I add a video? Yeah, I can add a video. All right. Attention reset.

So I'll put that on there. That way, if you're on Facebook, you don't, you kind of need to go to anywhere else. You could just watch it there.

Yeah, it's not bad, is it? Although I do think they do, they will get taken off eventually. They're only allowed on there for a certain amount of time, I do believe. But that's fine.

Doesn't really matter. It don't matter much, matter much, matter much. It don't matter much, matter, matter, matter, matter much.

So I'm not sure if the toilet man, I shouldn't really call him a toilet man, should I? Could be a lady. The toilet person is going to come around tomorrow, if they're going to phone me, or if they're just going to turn up. No idea.

I wish I knew, especially if they're planning to turn up at a certain time. Because you know, I do take Vinnie out for walks. So, you know, I will be here if I can.

Yes, so yes, so yes. But I can't always be here. You know, all the time.

You know what I mean? You get me? Yeah, bruv. Yeah, bruv. So what am I on, Chase? Okay, so if I go to Jason the Hypnotist, and I upload this.

Wow. I don't understand. Just trying to think.

It's Wednesday today. It feels like it's been a long week. Really does, Monday, three days, and it feels like it's been about a month.

I've overdone it a bit, to be honest, but it's okay. I just wanted to see if I could. But being able to doesn't mean it's a good idea, necessarily.

But I just wanted to see, you know what I mean? I just wanted to see, have a little look, have a little experimental situation. Oh, okay, that's good. So that's, it's definitely been uploaded.

So attention reset is on Jason Newland's boring group. So you can listen to that. What's the next one? Attention reset.

Oh, okay. All right. Last night's, let me, well, yesterday's Let Me Bore You To Sleep.

So I'll add that. Seems to be doing the job. That's pretty good, actually.

I'm quite pleased with that. That's very quick as well. Very, very quick.

So let's just download that. Then I'll upload that to the, the boring group. Ah, I'm very pleased with myself.

Very, very pleased, indeed. Indeed, indeed, indeed, indeed. Indeed, indeed, indeed, indeed.

I'm just trying to think what's what's been happening around here. No, not much, really. I told you about the broadband, didn't I? Potentially getting really fast broadband, which would be cool.

Although I'm not going to make videos anymore. Yep, we've heard that before. I know.

The reason, okay, I can make a video. But the same time it takes me to make that video and process it and upload it, edit it, all that stuff. I can do multiple audios in that time.

And I'm just thinking, what's the best use of my time when I'm in, when I'm able to, you know, to do stuff. And I think making the audios is probably the best way forward. So that's what I'm doing.

Pretty much. And the TikTok, TikTok, TikTok, TikTok. I'm still getting 600.

600. Well, authentic stillness, which I uploaded 207, 359 for the yesterday, no, the day before's thing, put that on a few hours ago. 216.

So if I just put one thing on, then I get more views than if I put like a two or three, because that's a little bit probably too much to be putting on in one day. But because I've been creating so much new stuff, I just want to share it. You know what I mean? I want to share it, man.

I want to be caring and sharing and giving it all away. Giving it all away. I need to get some new underwear.

So these, and also these, these tracksuit bottoms I've got, I've got two, four, six, I've got six or seven pairs. They're all the same, same colour. They're starting to look really grotty.

Like really grotty. Maybe, I don't know, a little bit grotty. And it's time to sort of get some replacements.

Replacements. I mean, one's got bleach. Don't know how I got bleach on the, oh yes, I do.

I do know how I got bleach. I was cleaning the floor, not yesterday, this is previously, cleaning the floor. And I think I had some clothes that I chucked into the bath.

Just like, you know, got undressed, chucked the clothes in the bath. Had a wash in the toilet, you know, wash my face in the toilet. And the, I think one of them, I was picking them up and they fell on the floor.

But I was in the kind of process of cleaning, or maybe some bleach had fallen on the floor from the toilet when I was cleaning the toilet. Yeah. Yeah, that sounds right.

And how else? It wouldn't make sense, would it? Yeah. So it's Thursday tomorrow, Thursday again, Thursday again. And it's Friday and we've got boxing.

Here's a question. I mean, I don't expect you to have the answer. Because I, I don't have the answer.

I'm gonna have to check it. Boxing schedule. Get your boxing.

Let's have a look, see what's this weekend. I know it's, Nick Ball's on, because he's defending his world title in, where is he defending it? I don't know. It's in the UK anyway.

So if you like boxing, and you've never heard of Nick Ball, check it out. He's a world, world champion. He's really good.

I mean, you know, you've got to be really good to be a world champion. I know, but he's really good. There's also some boxing on Saturday morning at 4am.

So yeah, so I can watch boxing in the morning Saturday. You know, on a repeat, watch the re, rewind of it. And then I can watch boxing in the evening.

And it's all world title fights. Yeah. And apparently, according to this, I'm looking at box.live www.whatever. Dimitri Bivol is ready for cruiserweight run as array of options await.

Wow. So I wonder, why, why, why, why wonder? Why, why, why, why, why? Yeah. See Deontay Wilder is going back and forward with Tyson Fury.

Deontay Wilder is accusing Tyson Fury of being a cheat. Like in the fights, fight number one and fight number two. I've not really looked into it because I just find it boring.

He did it last time. But I'm wondering, are they trying to get another fight, like a fourth fight? What would even be the point of that? Who would want to see Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder fighting for the fourth time? When the first fight was a draw. But I think most people thought that Tyson won that one, but it was a draw.

Although he did not. Tyson Fury did get knocked down. So yeah, there's a draw.

Fair enough. The next two fights, he knocks Wilder down, knocks him out. So there's no point for there to be a fourth fight.

Now a few fighters have four fights. There's a couple out there. But that's usually when it's kind of very even.

You know, when they keep beating each other and one beats the other, then one beats the other and stuff like that. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. I'll tell you what I was really surprised about.

So I went out and I was talking to someone for my last walk of the day within, which was about 25 to 5. I left the house roughly, maybe 20 to 5. No, 25 to 5. And I couldn't believe it was still so light outside. And I'm coming back. It's gone five o'clock.

I think it was 10 past five. And it was still light outside. I mean, it wasn't light, light.

You know, it wasn't sunbathing weather. But if you dropped a pin on the floor, you might struggle to find it. It wasn't light enough for that.

But I don't know what time it was too dark to be outside. Because I don't go outside when it's dark. Because I'm a scaredy cat.

But I'm just amazed that it's now at gone five at as light as it was at the beginning of the year just over a month ago, at half three. And it was dark by four o'clock at the beginning of January. It's crazy.

But now it's still light after five. It's not probably proper dark to half five now, probably maybe 20 past five. Because it does, you know, the tide doesn't come in quite that dark tide of darkness comes in fairly quick once it starts.

But I was just amazed at how it was back before it was even dark. And I don't need the light with me. I don't need his light on his sleet.

So it won't be long before I'll be able to take him out later. Maybe give him four, four walks for the day. He's trying to get himself comfortable.

Because it's time for bed, you want to go to sleep, don't you? He does. Okay, snort at me. He's just staring at me.

Bless him. That's weird. I got very little to talk about because all I've been doing is just making recordings all day.

That's very strange. I need to watch more television. I've not been napping.

I haven't, I haven't had a nap today. Wow. I've not, I've not laid down.

I've not been in my bedroom at all since I got up at 630 this morning. I've been in the bedroom but not to go to sleep. Sometimes I like to just stroke the wall, you know, kiss the window, you know, just normal stuff.

Rub my feet over the radiator. But yeah, so I got all my clothes in there, all my dress up clothes. Look, I'm high, I've been very influenced by the Wizard of Oz.

That's all I'm going to say. And you might think, oh, he dresses up. That's what he's dressing up as.

Oh, well, I was more focused on the munchkins, to be honest. Oh, I love the munchkins. Lollipop Kid.

Lollipop Kid. Lollipop Kid. Little Lollipop Kid.

I got so-so-so-so-so-so-so-so-so-so-so-so-so. And that is all I do. That is really, really, really, really.

I'm a good witch. But you don't look like a witch at all. But you're beautiful.

I know. Who's watched Wicked? I haven't watched the whole thing. Now Adriana, is it Adriana? What's Adriana? I know she's a huge star.

And it's weird to me she doesn't seem anywhere as big as Whitney Houston was when she was alive, like when she was in her prime. But in reality she's probably way bigger than Whitney Houston ever was. But it doesn't feel like she is.

But then, I don't know, but she is so talented vocally. Just one of the most amazing singers I've ever heard in my life. She can just, she can do everything.

There's nothing she can't do vocally. I saw her do a skit, I think it was on Saturday Night Live, and she was basically singing in the style of other people. It sounded exactly like them.

Like, you know, wherever, you got to be together. Was it Shakira Shakira? Shakira Shakira? So yeah, I've not seen the whole movie. And now the new one's out as well, isn't it? But the old one isn't even new anymore, is it? The original, the Wicked, it's been out for years apparently.

But she's so, such an amazing voice. Ariana Grande, that's it. Don't think I'm not Googling it, I'm using my own, my very own brain, which is probably on about 10% power right now.

It starts off at about 2% power when I wake up. And eventually, once I've had my breakfast, it kind of starts to charge. And I don't think it ever gets to more than about 30% full power.

That's about as high as it ever gets, really, 30% charged. People say, oh, do you know, you only use 2% of our brains. No, we don't.

It's a myth. No, it's only used 2%. Imagine if we could use all of our brains, we'd be able to move houses with our thoughts, mountains and be able to fly.

No, we don't watch too many superhero movies. We do, our whole brains are working. Different parts for different things.

I mean, they found that out just by looking at machines, and looking at the brainwaves. Doesn't mean that all our brains working at the same time, on the same thing. But I do think it's fascinating that when one part of the brain, for whatever reason, is not functioning correctly, another part of the brain can take over the responsibility for that particular action.

Whether it be movement, or automatic stuff. That is phenomenal. I know they call it plasticity in neuroscience.

Phenomenal, I find that so exciting. And that's the thing, with things like neuroscience, and psychology, I'm interested in the things I'm interested in. Which is probably a weird statement, an obvious statement, I suppose, because it's the same for everyone, isn't it? We're interested in what we're interested in.

But I don't want to learn the basics of neuroscience. I'm interested in the cutting edge stuff. I'm interested in the real, like, super exciting stuff.

It's the same with astrophysics, or what's it called? Atoms, and things like that. I'm interested in what you can do with them. What you can, I don't know, just find it interesting, the idea that you can magnify, and magnify, and magnify.

And apparently, there's a certain point where you can't magnify anymore. But then that was a YouTube video, so it might be absolute beeswax, as they say. I don't know who says that, but I've heard the expression in the past.

Yeah, neuroscience, I kind of wish I'd had a brain. I think that's why I like the Wizard of Oz so much, because I think I was born without a brain. I wouldn't be surprised if when, if they looked inside my brain, and it's just like a, like an Easter egg, just an empty space inside there's nothing inside the skull.

It's a little bit of just a little like a wind up dolphin or something that you can play with in the bath. Wow, I remember that. Did you ever get one of them? It's like you wind it up, and the tail moves, and it actually, it does, it swims, swims.

I used to have all that stuff. I need to get stuff like that again. Just stuff to play with in the bath.

What am I, this is really sad. One of my favourite things of all time, and I forgot, I forgot about this until right now. I had a rubber duck.

It was yellow, of course, like all rubber ducks, had an orange beak, I think. I used to like to push it down to the bottom of the bathwater, hold it, and just let it go, so it shot out the, out the top, and that used to give me so much pleasure. The enjoyment of it, I don't know why, it just, making that duck fly meant the world to me.

I also had a diver as well, like a deep sea diver, again his little, little flippers, flappers, flippers, whatever used to go when I wound him up. My older brother, like the one two years older than me, he didn't have any of that stuff. The only thing he wound up was me.

I was the only wind-up toy he had. He used to love winding me up, because he knew I couldn't do anything. I'd just have tantrums.

I'd have tantrums. Oh, there's some, there's a boxing on the 15th of February on YouTube. Oh, and Paramount Plus.

See, oh okay, if they did that, see they did that with the, what was the fight that was on, I think it was Zuffa, Zuffa, which is a new boxing organization run by the UFC person. And so you had to have Paramount Plus to watch it. I currently have Paramount Plus, but it's not available in the UK, the boxing.

But I found it was, it was on the YouTube channel of the Ring magazine. And I thought brilliant, that's nice. And they were showing, it was like the whole, they were showing the fight.

I thought wow. And then it just went into all fuzzy for about three rounds. So they were missing out loads of it, then coming back to another round and showing that.

There was no need, was there? No need. I mean, if they, if you did something and it got, let's say put it on YouTube, and it gets 20 million, or 100 million views. The amount in adverts alone that you get from that is going to be pretty huge.

100 million views, you put an advert between each round of each fight. You know, 20 second advert. Yeah, put a 20 second advert between the rounds of each fight or, or just put like a minute advert or two minutes of adverts between each fight.

I don't know, you can get a lot of adverts in that six hours, over that six hour period. There'd be a lot of money made. Especially if it's like a big fight.

Mind you, I don't know, but sponsorship deals as well. You know, this style. I'm surprised that no one's really done that.

I mean, there has been boxing on YouTube. There's also boxing on Netflix. Sometimes there's boxing on Amazon, sometimes Amazon Prime.

But it's a little bit sporadic. I think Tyson Fury is going to be fighting on Netflix. I would love it if Netflix just said, you know what, let's just show all the boxing.

Let's take on everyone. Let's, let's take on all the big boys, all the big girls, all the big everyone. Because Netflix are bigger than all of boxing combined financially.

Bigger than all the boxing promoters. Netflix is just so huge. So potentially Netflix could buy the zone.

For I don't know how many billions. And just take that, incorporate it into their Netflix thing. Just have its own section, boxing, Netflix boxing.

Just click on there when you get to the app, on the next flick, Netflix. And then you can just, no pay-per-view. You just have to, you know, just be a member.

I mean, that's what I would do if I was a boxer. If I was a boxer. Well, if I was anything, if I was anything like a public figure, if I was doing stand-up comedy, if I was doing a concert singing, anything that was kind of going to be streamed, either pre-recorded or live, whatever.

I'd go for the biggest platform. Not just for the money, but for the exposure. Because if you're on Netflix and you do a stand-up special or you do, you know, you're going to reach more people than you're going to reach in any other situation.

If you're on HBO or if you're on, I don't know, some boxing zone, you might get a few million people. But if you're on Netflix, you get 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 million, 100 million. Depending on, you know, what's going on.

So it's almost worth a fighter fighting on Netflix for no money. Because their worth will go up, especially if they put on a good performance. Their net worth, generally, the demand will go up because more people know who they are.

More people will be following them. More people will be watching their YouTube channel or buying their merchandise, you know, all that stuff. There's a business mind inside me somewhere.

It's usually hiding, possibly in my underwear. So, yeah, I'm thinking to get some nice underwear at some point. I just never know what size to get.

I'm not small. I mean, just, you know, physically, I wouldn't be able to put my legs through a small pair. I don't class myself as large.

But medium would probably be too small as well. So large, yeah, extra large, no, I don't think. Yeah, I don't know.

I thought maybe trying to get some nice underwear. Instead of just the cheap stuff that I normally get. Maybe, I mean, I've never, ever had, no, I've never had nice underwear.

No, I don't have horrible underwear, but I've never had, um, that's a lie. I've had nice underwear, but just for some reason, I'm thinking of silk underwear. Can you get silk underwear? Or is that something you'd have more of as a nightie? I don't know.

I used to wear silk shirts around 94, 95, maybe even 90, no, about 94, 95. I was wearing silk shirts, but they weren't like nice, expensive silk shirts. They were cheapies, cheap, they got from a shop, they were cheap, but they were silk-ish.

And those, I used to wash them by hand and it was easy because they're dry, no ironing required. In fact, an iron would just burn a hole in them. In fact, I think they might've just been plastic because they did melt.

But I liked them because they were baggy, because I, I was at the time very self-conscious about how slim I was. So with those shirts, they were quite long and I could give the impression that maybe I wasn't quite as slim. It probably didn't, but I liked them anyway.

I liked them a lot, really liked them. I had a blue one, a dark kind of purplish one. Yeah, I think I had two or three, maybe four of these silk shirts.

I think they were short sleeved. I'm pretty certain they were short sleeved. Perhaps I should just maybe get some more.

They were very comfortable, especially in the summer, very light, very fluffy. Very amenable, very wearable. I miss them.

I miss them like I'd miss a silk shirt, I suppose. Right. I'm on the verge of falling asleep now.

I've literally got my eyes closed as we speak. That was interesting, wasn't it? But yeah, it's time to go to bed. Time to go to bed.

Yeah. So what I'm going to do is say thank you very much for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself because you do deserve to be happy.

Be gentle with yourself. You deserve to feel safe. And also, lastly, remember that it's okay to ask for help.

We all need help sometimes. So if there's something you need help with, then please reach out and find someone. And don't give up till you've found someone that can help you.

Lots of love. Bye. Bye-bye.
