Hello and welcome to let me bore you to sleep. So welcome, this is number one thousand six hundred and forty nine, I do believe. And today is Sunday, the twenty six of July, two thousand and twenty six.

Yeah, please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. And it's four forty three p.m. on this very beautiful day. In fact, it's actually quite nice.

It's sunny, but it's not hot, like hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, you know, proper hot, hot as it has been. And I quite like it, I like it like this, a nice breeze. I've took the Vincent out twice so far and I'll take him again out after this recording.

And even he seems to be enjoying it more, you know, his tongue isn't like dragging on the floor like that. That's me. I'm making that sound.

But he's he's tugged on the floor. I like that sound. This makes me feel good.

I feel like I'm. I feel like I'm accepted when I do that in public and no one punches me. So, I suppose there's a fair bit to catch you up on.

One of the obvious things for regular listeners is what on earth have I been up to? What did I do it for? Why? Why? Can't you just leave things the way they are? You'd think so, wouldn't you? Yeah, well, in my last recording, which was last Friday, Q&A Friday, which, yeah, I did talk about why I was doing what I was doing and making all future recordings only ten hours long without music and also deleting the ones from the past to make the make every recording ten hours without music. That was kind of the plan. And I did it.

It kind of backfired a little bit, a little bit, a lot. So, I probably spent about two and a half to three days sorting that out before Friday came and then I spent the entire week. So basically, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and today.

I'm still not finished, but I've spent the last nine days re-uploading the recordings. Now, I've re-uploaded for the Let Me Boy To Sleep and for the Sleep Hypnosis, the Deep Sleep Whisperer. I don't know what they're called.

What's that podcast called? Hypnosis for Sleeping Deeply. I don't even know the names of my own podcasts. Crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy.

That's interesting. No, it isn't. I thought I saw something interesting, but I was wrong.

So, first of all, the reason you're kidding me. You're kidding me. Oh, it's 30 days.

I was going to say blimey. Oh, okay. Fair enough.

So, I'm just looking at the Breaking Free From Control and Manipulation podcast. So, I also updated that one as well. There's a few that I have not updated because I wanted to get the main ones done first and then I'll look at the others.

Blimey, the wind's blowing. It's blowing my kitchen door a little bit. So, you may think, well, why? Why did you get rid of them? Why? Why? Well, I took advice because basically the standard podcast app such as I think Spotify maybe or Apple, they'll play the previous 250 recordings.

And because I do six different versions of each recording, you're not going to get many recordings listed. And because I do so many recordings, or I have done that over the last few months, things just almost disappear. They, you know, does that make sense? So, I thought, well, if I just do just one version, then people will have an opportunity to not miss what I've done.

Because you'll be able to see the last 250 days or last 250 recordings. Now, I know I probably do probably 600 plus recordings a year. So, you're not going to get the whole year, but at least you'll have at least maybe three, four, five months worth of recordings that you can go back to, maybe.

Or, yeah, maybe even six months, depends how many I end up doing in a year. And then I thought, well, I could just put on the normal length ones. Because they're the ones I prefer to listen to, generally.

But then I thought, well, what if people want to listen, they want to listen to it, but they don't want to have another recording play afterwards. So, I thought, okay, I'll do the 10 hours. They're the most popular ones.

And, anyway, I ended up coming up with the idea of like 10 hours without music. And it was a way to hopefully reach a larger audience. Or, not so much larger, but just more people will find my stuff.

Because if you come across my podcast for the first time, one of the podcasts, it might seem like I'm just repeating myself a lot. You know, like, oh, there's six, he's done this recording six times. And have to really kind of flick down to get to a recording I did 10 days ago.

But then, once I'd done it, I saw that I had some reactions to what I'd done. And although I was doing it with good intentions, it's not like I was trying to make any money. Because I wasn't, you know, I wasn't, was I? But it was just, I thought maybe it would be tidier and a way to maybe attract people that were new to sort of stay.

Because I know people that are regular seem to be pleased with what I've already been doing before. And that's come to become quite obvious over the last week or so. That it's kind of the old thing is, if it's not broken, don't fix it.

I wasn't trying to fix it. I didn't really think it was broken. I was trying to improve it.

In a way that, the thing is, everything I do is going to be wrong for some people. And it's going to be right for others. So, there's going to be some people out there that actually think it's brilliant if every recording was just long 10 hours or overnight music, with music or overnight without music.

Because that will suit them. But nothing I do will ever suit everybody. And if I did just right from the start, well actually not right from the start, because I did do that right from the start, but if I just continued making recordings for the length of the actual recording, instead of starting to do ones with music, longer ones.

And if I hadn't done that, sort of years and years ago, then that's all that anyone would ever know. But it's too, you can't really go back now, you know. It's like, well, I like the idea of people having choice as well.

But so, what I've done anyway, I've just kind of, I've listened to the feedback. And I know that I didn't get much feedback, but there's, I'm sure there's a lot of, I think it's one of those things, if you get, for every person that complains, or even says something nice, you're probably going to have quite a few more that are thinking the same thing, but they're not going to actually post a message. Because most people don't post messages generally.

Especially when it comes to feedback and stuff. So, in my experience, unless of course, I really only have five people listening to me. So, I'm not going to read out all the messages and all the comments that have been put on there.

But there was basically, where's all the stuff gone? Where's it gone? And the, the Spotify was missing a recording. Because I think the Spotify actually gets, that gets the feed from my SoundCloud podcast hosting. And Apple gets the hosting from my Spreaker podcasts.

So, I don't actually, didn't realise until recently, that I hadn't uploaded my Q&A Friday from last week. The number six, 1648. So, I've done that today or yesterday.

So, I was a little bit behind on that one. I thought I'd done that, but on SoundCloud I hadn't. But it's all done now.

And there's a little bit of confusion about, have I just started another podcast? And I haven't. This is, it's exactly the same Apple address as it always was, or has been for quite a while for all of the podcasts. It's just I've re-uploaded all the recordings going back to the beginning of the year.

And that's a lot of recordings. A lot. A lot, a lot, a lot.

Hundreds. Times by six. So, I mean, I don't know.

I do three, six, nine, twelve, fifteen. Three, six, nine, twelve, fifteen. Yeah.

I mean, just looking at the, the normal, if I look at the Let Me Boy To Sleep podcast. Where is it? Where is it? Okay, here we go. Just from the start of the year, bearing in mind each recording is six, six episodes.

I've got 1,621 recordings. Instead of, we'll divide that by six. What would it be? 50? 51, 52, 53.

No. 100. 200.

100. No. 50.

50 times by six. 51, 52, 53. 300.

So, it would be 200. Two, four, six, eight, ten, twelve. So, instead of 200 recordings, it's 1,621.

Roughly. It's not exact numbers there. But, you see what I mean.

There's a lot. I mean, the very first. Let me go back.

I'll go all the way down so I can tell you exactly. There has also been other stuff going on as there is for everyone. Like real life stuff.

But, I have spent most of my time working on this. And, it has been extremely tedious. Very, very, very hard to keep my eyes open.

Because, it's just like uploading, uploading. And, then Spiriki decides to put on a new uploader on their system. Which means I can't upload on my iPad anymore.

So, I literally have to transfer recordings from my iPad onto my hard drive. And, then from my hard drive onto my laptop. In order to upload them to Spiriki.

It's just. Basically, they've done to me what I've done to you. In a way.

They upgraded to make things better. And, it's actually made it worse. To make the user experience easier.

And, it made it harder. Which is kind of what I did really, isn't it? But, hopefully. That wasn't my intention.

I do apologize. From now on to the end of the year. I am not going to make any changes.

The only thing I'm going to do now is. Gradually. Over the next few weeks or couple of weeks.

Re-upload and update the other podcasts. To make sure everything is kind of. Yeah.

Up to date and sorted. And, also. Add the images.

The podcast images. Because. I've got them stored somewhere.

But, they're not all. They're not up to date at all. Oh.

I see what I've done. So, yeah. Forget what I said about the Let Me Boyd Asleep.

Because, there's a bunch of. Ones from earlier. It's literally got number one on there.

No, it's not. Yes, it has. 27th of March 2018.

That I uploaded probably a while ago. Just, and put the date in and stuff. So, as far as this goes.

Okay, right. Wow. 2022.

I had quite a few on there. As I say. Because, I didn't think I'd done.

I haven't done that many recordings this year. So far. Not on the Let Me Boyd Asleep.

I've done quite a few. Quite a few. Blimey, I've got 2002.

2004. 2019. Come on.

And, these are all 10 hours. No music, 10 hours. So.

It'll go to 2026. Just interested in what number I was at. Right, 1st of January 2026.

I was at 1526. So, 1526. And, now I'm on 1648.

So, 123, isn't it? 123 Let Me Boyd Asleeps. So far, this year. It's not a huge amount, is it really? But then, I have been doing.

Well, before this incident. I had done a lot of hypnosis stuff. A lot.

Sometimes, 2 or 3 a day. Which was. A lot.

A heck of a lot. Let's have some water there. So, that's it really.

It's quite a lot to do. A lot. And, I will do it.

And, I'll get it done. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So, really this last week.

Probably the main thing that's happened is. I had my radiators replaced. So, the council came in and.

I had to prepare beforehand. And, move everything away from the radiators. So, I was kind of in tidy mode.

For a few days before they got here. The place was still messy. But, it was still.

It wasn't as messy. And, I managed to make sure that every radiator. Was accessible.

The only one that was a difficult one was the toilet. Or, the bathroom one. Because, literally there's no room to navigate.

For the person. Because, the toilet's just so little. But, the bathroom's very tiny.

But, then there's a cupboard in there. That doesn't really need to be in there. I guess it was the airing cupboard.

In the old days. If that was removed. That would give.

Because, it takes up quarter of the room. Quarter of the room of the room. I was going to say quarter of the room of the room.

That doesn't make sense does it. But, it takes up. I'd say at least 20%.

Of the space. And, it's not a big room to start with. Which is fine.

I don't live in a mansion. I don't expect a hoog bathroom. A hoogie bathroom.

And, when they got here. I think it was Tuesday. I thought.

I knew Vinnie would bark. It's natural. He's going to bark.

He's going to get excited. And, he's going to want to say hello. To the people that come in.

Because, there was. One person doing it. But, then there was another two people.

Coming and going as well. Because, they weren't only doing my radiators. They had people doing other flats.

And, then a supervisor going around. And, checking on them. Then the bloke from the council.

Coming in just to check. To the point where Vinnie. He was getting beyond excited.

Like beyond. Like so, so excited. And, he was screaming.

Because, he's so high pitched. And, I couldn't stop him. I couldn't shut him up.

Nothing I did was. I put him in the bedroom. He howled.

I had to keep him in the living room. Really with me. Because, they needed access.

To all the rooms. In the end. I managed to find a neighbor.

Who would look after him. Until it was done. So, I think it was done.

By about half eleven. So, eight, nine, ten, eleven. Half eleven, twelve.

So, it didn't take long. But, they did. The man that was doing it.

He did all the radiators. At the same time. So, he took them all out.

And, then put them in. So, he had. He kind of did need access.

To all the rooms. At the same time. So, I just sat here on my computer.

I tried to make a little bit. Of small talk. But, it didn't work.

He didn't. There was no conversation there. Although, he was very friendly.

When he left. It was that. I think a sense of relief.

Maybe. I don't know. I heard him on his phone.

Saying. Oh, you should have been here. When I got here.

I wish you was here. When I got here. And, like.

What's he talking about? I mean. If. If he hadn't knocked so hard.

I'd have had time. To put my dressing gown on. Before answering the door.

I mean. It's not. I can't be the first person.

To ever answer the door. Naked and covered in cream. Surely.

And, stinging nettles. Sticking out of my ears. So.

I don't know what it was. But, I kind of got the sense. That something freaked him out a bit.

But. And, I know that. Although, this flat.

Is not the tidiest flat. In the world. It's by no means.

The messiest either. I know that. They.

They see some. They go in places. Where there's hoarders.

They go into places. Where there's. And.

Well, they got. People got kids. And, there's toys everywhere.

And. They go into places. Where.

There's going to be a lot messier. Or, it's just full of furniture. And, it's like.

Really cramped. You know. Like.

I don't have that here. I've got. One city.

Two. Two desks. And, a little table thing.

Next to the city. The rest of the room's empty. It's.

TV on the wall. I don't like. Lots of stuff.

Sort of. I don't like to trip over things. I don't like.

Obstacles. Generally. And.

I mean. This is probably. I don't know why my voice went like that.

This is probably. The tidiest. This room has been.

For ages. And, the kitchen as well. And, my bedroom.

Because. I did make an effort. As.

I was moving everything. Away from the window. Or, from the radiators.

In my bedroom. And. In the.

Living room. It. Involved me.

Also, having to sort of. You know. Collect.

Some of the stuff. Off the floor. Yeah.

It's just. A lot tidier. It's still messy.

Still bits. Vinny's still got some of his. Bits and bobs.

On the floor. That he's half eaten. His little bony things.

There's still things. On the floor. That I've dropped.

And not picked up. And. There's still.

Loads of empty. Bottle. Bottles.

Like from the bottle. Water bottles. Rather.

On the table. Something. One has fallen on the floor.

I think. So, there's. You know.

There's. There's still bits and bobs. But.

It's nowhere near. As messy. As what it was.

And, I've got an itchy knee. My left knee is itchy. So, I'm scratching it.

Right. But, guarantee. Tomorrow.

Or, the day after. I look at my knee. And, I think.

Why? Why does it hurt? What? Like. What's happened to my knee? It's red. What? The fact that I've spent two hours scratching it.

I forget that. I honestly. I bang my knee.

It's not like I bang my leg into the desk. But, I'm busy doing something. So, I pay no attention to it.

And, I'm hobbling around the next day. Like. Why? Why's my leg hurting? And, I really have to.

Sort of. Search back. To.

A time in the past. Where. I can.

Find. An answer. To that question.

Oh. I remember. I was hitting my knee with a hammer.

Oh. I have to try and catch the fly somehow. The fly keeps landing on me.

Honestly. It's just. See.

I like to relax. I like to. Sit down.

In my chair. Recline. Listening to.

Either. One of my podcasts. Or.

Listening to. Some classical music. I also like to sit in.

Quiet. But. Unfortunately.

I can't do that with Vinny. Because. He's always listening.

For outside sounds. And, if he hears something. He.

He goes a million miles an hour. Straight away. It's so high pitched voice.

And, it's very. It's. The opposite.

To feeling relaxed. So, I have to have something. On.

Normally. I realise I've got nothing on now. But, it's me talking.

Although he is busy. Sort of. Chewing on something.

By the end of a recording. He's normally fast asleep. Apparently.

I bore him. Bless him. I'm just trying to think.

Anything that's happened. This week. It's been warm.

Monday. Tuesday. So, Tuesday.

Was the windows. The. Radiators.

They. Also. Yeah.

They're coming back. To put in a new kitchen. At some point.

But, I don't know when. They haven't given me a date yet. So.

They did. Say. That it will be soon.

And, then that's. Ten days. Of work.

Two. Two weeks. Because, they don't work weekends.

And, I don't have the luxury. Of having someone. Looking after Vinny.

For ten days. You know. So.

But, at the same time. The kitchen people. Won't need to come.

Into the living room. So, I just can stay in here. And, I was thinking.

Of maybe getting. Some kind of a. Dog rail. You know.

On those dog gates. Pet gates. And, put it over.

To open the living room door. And, put it over there. So, that he can kind of.

Watch what's going on. And, people going past. But, I don't think.

I'm going to do that. Because, there's going to be. A lot of dust.

A heck of a lot of noise. Especially, to start with. So, I prefer.

Ideally, not to do that. I'm also going to be limited. To when I can take him out.

So, I'll have to take him out. Before eight o'clock. Because, I think they start at eight.

And, then. Basically, just take him into the garden. A couple of times.

During the day. Until, they're finished. Then, take him out for another.

Wander. But, it's only two weeks. And, I don't think.

That they're here all day. For those two weeks. So, you know.

The electrician will come. The. The very last person to come.

I think, is the painter. And, you've got the tiler. There's the floor person.

There's the person. The plumber. The person that puts the kitchen in.

The person that takes the kitchen out. So, there's quite a few different. People involved in it.

So. Just based on what I've seen. With previous neighbours.

They. Sometimes, they go a day. Without seeing anyone.

Or, half a day. So, the electrician. Might only come for half a day.

And, then. Not come back for four days. And, I think.

They tell. They tell the person. Who lives there.

What's going on. So, as long as I know. That I don't need to be here.

Then, I can take. Vinnie Minnili out. You know what I mean.

Innit. You get me. I'll take him out.

For a W. A. L. K. A. A. Oh, we've got a new Prime Minister this week. Was it Monday? I think it was Monday. A bloke called.

Andy Burnham. Or, Burham. Burnham.

Burnham. Something like that. Andy.

Why can't we call him Andrew? That's his name, isn't it? It's not Andy. I'm not really into. Kind of.

Shortening names. As someone that's. Supposed to be.

I don't know. Like, someone that's. Like, in charge.

Also, he's another Sir. Like. Keir Starmer.

The previous. Prime Minister. He was.

Sir Keir. Sir Keir Starmer. I just used to call him Shakira.

Shakira. Shakira. And.

That's how I remembered his name. But I was thinking. And don't worry.

I'm not going to get into politics. And. Why would you call a Prime Minister Sir? When Prime Minister is a much higher level.

Than being a Sir. You know. As far as describing.

Oh. Sir. Andy.

Whatever his name is. No. Prime Minister.

Andrew. Whatever his name is. Let's have a look.

See what his actual name is. Andy Durham. Burham.

If I just put Andy. I bet you. There's two names will come up.

Oh no. That's weird. Andy Warhol.

Why has he come up? That's a bit strange. He's one of the most famous. Andy's I suppose.

Andy. What other Andy's are there? Let's go back. Come on.

Andy. Andy. Burham.

Wife. Andy Burham. Andy Burham.

Latest update. Andy Warhol. Andy Carroll.

Andy Burman. Burnham. On early election.

Hmm. He ain't going to be doing no early election. Andy Warhol.

Andy. OK. Andy Murray.

Andy Goldsworthy. Andy's Man's Club. And Andy Robertson.

There the Andy's are coming up. So. Oh his name is Andrew.

Andrew Murray Burnham. So why are we calling him Andy then? That's what you call a friend isn't it? A pal. You know did you know that Boris Johnson.

A previous Prime Minister. Was not his name. Boris was not his name.

It was Alexander. Did you know that? Boris was his middle name. So.

I don't know. It's just like. I mean my.

My step mum's father. Did that and I didn't know it. Everyone knew him as Bob.

I thought his name was Bob. I can't remember his name now. But I think it was Bob.

I do remember his name. I'm just not going to say it. Let's say Bob.

Bob Bob Bob Bob Bob. And he was in hospital. So I went to visit him.

And I said. It's Bob. Bob Nobby.

I come to visit. Bob Nobby. Can you tell me what ward he's on please? And the lady said.

No got no one in here called Bob Nobby. I said no he's definitely here. Because.

The family meeting me here and like. Yeah he's definitely here. Nope.

So I phoned up my. My. My brother.

Or my step brother. And he says. Oh no that's not his name.

I said what do you mean it's not his name. No it's not Bob. His name's.

Quiddy Winnie Minnie Moo. Or something. Minnie Moo Moo Moo.

I forget. It was something. It was a different name anyway.

And I said what? He said yeah yeah. He's got a different name. That's his middle name.

So why does everyone call him by that then? And he said because everyone always has and. He didn't like his first name so. He chose to.

Be called by his middle name. And I said but that's not really his choice is it? Which is silly thing to say because obviously it's his choice. But.

But. But then in a way. I don't choose what people call me.

People call me Jason. Jay. Jace.

That's it really isn't it? There are three versions of my name. Jason. Jay.

Jace. Jay. My friend Duncan used to call me Jace.

And. I found it sometimes girlfriends would call me Jace. Jacey.

Jacey baby. But. I. I. I think it's a long time.

And. What's it like to touch the skin of another human? Alive one I mean. I mean touching their hand.

What's it like? I can't remember. Is it. Is it sticky? I can't remember.

What's it like to. Like. It's weird.

Honestly it's been so long. And. I. Yes so.

I went to. Once I knew what his name was. I went visiting.

And again. He had his name. On the board.

The name that we all know. Numez. But not the name that he.

Officially was under. Not the name that was on his medical record. Not the name that was on his medication.

Very confusing. I guess we don't think. That far ahead do we I suppose when we're young.

It's like people that have. House names instead of numbers. Or decide.

We're not going to use a number anymore. We're going to have a house name. Because we're.

That's what we want to do. We unique. Just like all the neighbors.

And. I've literally seen. Two occasions where.

Ambulances have been looking. For a house. But can't find it.

Because it's a house name. Not a house number. And there's no house number outside.

House numbers are easy to find. Because. It just is.

That's how it's always kind of been. In this country. You've got.

Odds and evens usually. So if you were number two. Your next door neighbor would be number four.

The next one to that would be number six. Eight. Ten.

Opposite. You know. Opposite you.

Maybe number one. Three. Five.

Seven. Nine. Whatever.

But if you just take the number off. The gate. And put a name like.

Uncle JJ's Caterpillar Love Nest. Or something you know. Ambulance drivers don't know.

Where to find you. And I've been honestly. I've helped ambulance drivers out.

Twice. In that exact situation. One was where I lived in a cottage.

And it was basically a bunch of cottages. And no one wanted to use numbers. Even though they all had numbers.

You know. Now I want my cottage to be. Evergreen Rainbow Cottage.

You. Mango. Juice.

Marrowbone. Prickly Heat. Porridge Cottage.

Or whatever. So it's like. It's probably fun.

Probably fun. But I've never ever. Ever.

Really kind of gone for it. Apart from when I was in Ireland. And there was no number.

It literally was a name of a house. A name of a cottage. Or wherever it was.

But it was. It had been there probably forever. You know.

So. And everyone knew where it was. They knew.

You know. They knew the area. They knew what the house was and stuff.

I mean. Even my dad. When he moved into.

His place. Thirty. Six years ago.

Blimey. 36 years ago. He.

There was a name on it. And I've always used a number. Never ever have I used the name of the house.

Put the number. I just disagree. I just.

What's the point having a name. If you've got a number. Use the number.

I'm not saying people shouldn't have. Names. I mean clearly I am saying that.

But everyone can do what they want. It's got nothing to do with. Anyone but me.

But. I just like. What's the point.

It causes confusion. Like changing your name. Calling yourself something.

It's going to cause problems. It's like me going around. Calling us.

Telling everyone that my. That my name is. Patricia.

Because that's my middle name. It's like. Yeah but.

Vinnie. You know what he did the other day. I think it was two days ago.

He did a wee wee. In the bedroom. It might have been yesterday.

He did a wee wee in the bedroom. And he has not done that. Since I moved.

Well since he moved in. Maybe once. And I had a visitor.

And he was going a bit nutty. Sort of to say hello and everything. But then what I do.

When I say goodbye to a visitor. I put Vinnie into the bedroom. That way he can't make a. Massive fuss.

And then try and run out. Of the front door. So I did that.

Which is what I always do. Lock the front door. And.

Turn the light off. My friend said. I thought I was going out.

Why have you locked the door. I said oh sorry. So I open the door up again.

Turn the light on. He goes. Then I lock it.

And. I just open the door in the bedroom like normal. He wasn't in there for more than maybe.

A minute. A minute and a half. And.

He comes into the. Living room and. I think nothing of it.

An hour or so later. I go into the bedroom for. Something I can't remember what.

I just see this patch of. Well a wet patch. Now.

Even if I had a leaky roof. There hasn't been. Hasn't been any rain in this area.

For about 17 years. So it's definitely not a leak. Although I don't have a leaky roof.

I'm like okay. This is weird. Why would he do this.

And it wasn't that long. Since he'd been out. As well.

So I'm just. Well I'm guessing that maybe. He got overexcited.

And he couldn't control it. Which is you know. It's not the first time that's happened.

And. It happened when he first moved in there. He just weed everywhere.

But he was just absolutely. He lost control. And then he.

He did away. Even did a poo I think. But that was because he wanted to go out.

And I wasn't. I didn't know what he meant. It was like really bad.

Really bad game charades. You know he was like literally saying. Look he was writing on the board.

Poo poo. Want to go out. And I was like.

What do you want? You want a cuddle? You want another treat? You want another treat? Oh you heard that didn't you then. Alright here we go. I just gave him another treat.

As soon as I said the word treat. He looked up. Yeah.

There was one time. My neighbor downstairs. She hadn't lived there long.

Probably about six months. Maybe. Maybe less.

And he went into her flat for the first time. And she had him. For.

A couple of hours. Because he absolutely adores her. And she said we can come down for a little bit.

She at this point. I think she had one cat. And he was in the bedroom.

So she just. Or in the. Yeah she.

He was in the living room. And. She.

Had Vinnie in the bedroom. And basically. You know.

I sort of. I called up. And said how is he doing.

After a couple of hours. And she's laughing. I said.

Oh what. She said. He's pissed all over the bed.

He's done a wee wee. All over the duvet. And I said.

Oh no. She said. Oh yeah.

I'm thinking. Oh. Wow.

Why would he do that. It was purely. The absolute bliss.

And enjoyment. The excitement. Of being.

Downstairs. There's. A pleasure that.

I don't understand. That he gets. When he's around.

People. When he's. He just.

Absolutely. Loves. He loves people.

He loves going in other houses. He. Loses.

All. It's like it. He gets a high from it.

Don't you. Hey. You're very loving aren't you.

Towards other people. Not towards me. But towards everyone else.

Everyone else. But me. Bless him.

Do you reckon. Andy Burnham. Does use eyeliner.

Because he's. He's got kind of. Quite prominent.

Eyelashes. I'm thinking. Maybe they're tattooed.

Or they're like. You can get. Can't you get permanent.

Eyelashes. Or. Like.

Permanently dyed. Or. I don't know.

How it works. Hmm. But anyway.

Yeah. So we got a new prime minister. On Monday.

And. So that's been quite. Big news.

The. World Cup. That was all finished.

Wasn't it. So Sunday. Sunday.

England. Played. France.

And beat France. By quite a lot. In an absolutely pointless game.

Because we lost the semifinals. England did. Against.

Argentina. So. It was Argentina.

Or Spain. It was Argentina wasn't it. Yeah.

Argentina. Yeah. So we lost.

We lost. England. Football.

Team. I realize I should say men's team. But.

We all know what I'm talking about. So what's the point. So the World Cup.

We got as far as the semifinals. And then the way it works. If you don't know this.

The two winners of the semifinals. Play in the final. And that one wins.

The loser comes second. And then the two losing. Teams from the semifinals.

Which was us and France. Play each other. For third place.

How do they get themselves into the semifinals. Up for that game. Is something that I won't.

Ever really understand. It's just. It's a little bit like.

I've seen snooker players. Where. They've already won the game.

Or they've already lost the game. But they keep going. Because it's kind of expected.

That they keep kind of trying. Even though. Or maybe they just won.

They've won it. You know they've got enough points. They don't need to.

Let's say they've got. They've won the game. But there's still four balls on the table.

That they can pocket. If they want to. And I've seen snooker players just walk away.

So I've done it. I've won. I don't need to pocket anymore.

Yet the audience. Perhaps want to see. Them pocket.

Want to see maybe. Them. You know.

Do every single ball on the table. To get the 180. 180.

Whatever it's called. And. That's probably what the audience want to see.

And I think what is it. Sullivan. Who's one of the greatest players ever.

Ronnie O'Sullivan. He. If you get.

If you get. Yeah. If he earns.

An extra. Amount of money. 10 grand or whatever.

For. Pocketing every ball on the table. Basically from like.

Starting. And doing every red. And then yellow.

Down to black. If there's like an extra bonus for that. He'll do as many as he can.

But if there isn't an extra bonus. He doesn't seem to care about doing that. Sort of in the last.

In the last bit anyway at least. So he might clear every. Every ball off the table.

Get down to. Orange. Or pink.

I don't know. Or yellow. Let's say.

If he's got through. And he's got the yellow done. He doesn't have to do anything more.

So it's all the colored balls on the table still there. Apart from the yellow. And I see him just walk off.

He's got all the points. He's won. Yeah.

If he was going to get a 10 grand. Or 50 grand. Extra prize.

For. Clearing the table. He would.

He would stay and do it. It's. It must be really cool.

To be someone like him. To be one of the greatest people. That's ever done it.

One of the greatest snooker players. Of all time. So just.

But not. Snooker. Because it doesn't interest me.

But. Just to be. One of the greatest.

Of anything. I mean you could argue that Hitler was the greatest dictator. So I don't mean it like that.

I mean in a kind of a positive way. I mean. Like the greatest.

Or one of the greatest. Maybe not the greatest. But one of the greatest.

Or one of the best. To do it. And I know it's.

It's quite simplified isn't it. Because you can't. You can't say that one musician is the greatest.

Or one. Artist is the greatest. Or.

One pianist is the greatest. Because. There's so many isn't there.

And so many different styles. Depends what you like. I mean one person's.

Art collection. May seem silly. To another person.

Even if that art collection is worth. Millions of pounds each picture. To someone that perhaps likes a different style.

Would have no interest in that. Or someone that's. Stuck in the 60s.

Like music wise. Maybe will never appreciate. Beyonce.

Or. One of the great. Acts.

One of the greats of this generation. Or the last you know. Generation or so.

Because. They still want to listen to the Everly Brothers. And that's what they love.

I mean I don't think I'm stuck in any kind of. Decade. Musically.

If I was it'd be the 80s. But it's just because I grew up in the 80s. And then the 90s was my 20s.

So I was very into the music of the 90s. 2000s. I lost touch.

Basically. The last 26 years. Okay not the last 26 years but the last 25.

20. The last 20 years. Ever since Top of the Pops stopped being on telly.

Actually is that true? I mean before I moved in here. When I was working. I was living in that.

Grotty. Room thing that I lived in. I used to lay down on the ground.

Because my back was hurting. So I used to try and stretch my back out. And I'd listen to the top 40.

Charts. Which would start at 4 o'clock. 4 till 7. And it'd be the top 40 hits.

And I'd listen to that every Sunday afternoon. Pretty much yeah. Every Sunday.

So I was. Fairly up to date then. Yeah I was.

So I went through a period when I wasn't. Then I went through a period when I was. So in like 2013.

I was very up to date. Because I was watching TV. Music TV.

Not MTV. But is it VH1 or whatever it's called. So I'd be watching that.

For hours and hours sometimes. While I was working on my website or something. So.

I'd hear a lot of the. Latest hits. And the videos and stuff.

I was. Plus I'd watch the. Yeah I'd listen rather to the.

The top 40 hits on a Sunday. Afternoon. Between 4 and 7. Vinny's trying to.

Catch a fly. Well I've had no phone calls today. So that's alright.

It's always a good day. No phone calls. But it's nice.

That's nice. Yeah. Just had a food delivery.

Couple of. An hour or so ago. Right.

Yeah. There's no messages or anything. Which is.

Cool. Do need to plug it into the. To charge.

Trying to think. What else has happened. This.

Week. It's really just been. Me.

Uploading. Especially. When.

The upload. Settings. Changed on Spreaker.

Which meant. I had to. And also I can't do it on my.

iPad. For some reason it won't work. So I had to go through.

My recordings on my iPad. Transfer them. Onto the hard drive.

Then transfer the recordings. From the hard drive. Onto the laptop.

And then upload from the laptop. Yeah. A lot of faffing.

It's been worth it. You know. Managing to get everything back.

On track. But. It's still.

So. Annoying. Doing it.

It's very. Very. Very.

Slow. So yeah. I did post today.

I've eventually fixed. The two main podcasts. It took longer than I thought.

So thanks for your messages. Nicole and. Hope.

One said. You're amazing. The other one said.

Yay. I also did post on my. Jason Newland's.

Boring group. That. The Spotify.

Updated. And Apple podcast. App updated.

The two main podcasts. Let me boil you to sleep. And.

Hypnosis for sleeping deeply. They're exactly the same. Podcasts.

As they have been. It's just. I've.

You know. Re-uploaded the recordings. So I'll put the links on there.

I actually. Six days ago. I posted.

I'm in the process. Of fixing a podcast. It should be complete.

By tomorrow. Six days ago. What was six days ago? What day was that? What day? Monday.

So on Monday. I really thought. I'd have it done by Tuesday.

I was so wrong. To see what. What response.

I got from this. Okay. All comments.

Sarah says. Thank you Jason. Sorry if it.

Okay. You're the best. And I've.

Bored me to sleep. For so many years. Now that I've lost count.

Thank you. Trisha. Thank you Jason.

I've listened to you. To short. Voice only.

Let me bored to sleep. For years. And wasn't sure.

If I'd done something wrong. On my phone. Yeah.

I thought what I was doing. Was a good idea. But.

It kind of turned out. To. Not be.

So. But I've. Hopefully.

I'll. You know. I'm not going to do this anymore.

I'm just going to. I'm not going to change things. That's what I mean.

I'll just leave it. And I realized that. It's.

Having six versions. Isn't. Necessarily.

A good thing to do. But. I suppose.

Really. When it comes to algorithms. And things.

It don't really count for me. It doesn't really. Because I'm doing something different.

And what I do is. Not the same as other people. And when people find me.

They find my recordings. Quite often. They do stick around.

And they. They listen for quite a while. And what I would say.

If you. It's just everyone listening. If you're still awake.

What I really need help with is. Sharing the recordings. Let other people know.

On whatever social network site. You're with. Whether it's X. YouTube.

Instagram. TikTok. Facebook.

Any of the others. Or just a person in real life. You know.

Your doctor maybe. Really Vinny. Every time he moves like that.

Makes me jump. You can't just sit still. For two seconds.

I'm tired. And Megan says. I always listen to the short voice ones.

Only with no problems. Seeing people mention a few things. But I'm confused.

That's all the problems are. One thing I've noticed. Is nothing new uploaded.

On Spotify. Since the 13th. Almost 13th.

Yeah. I think that was basically. The one before.

That was. Let me boy just sleep. If that's the podcast.

You're listening to. So the. The Spotify one is.

Hosted by SoundCloud. I think. So that's that's why.

So I think that week. I only did a Monday and a Friday. But I'd forgotten to upload the Friday.

One. So I got so engrossed in all this other stuff. I was doing.

But it's uploaded now. So should be all up to date. And when you listen to this.

This will be there as well. Okay. So yeah.

The 16th. Again. Since the 13th.

So thank you. Jonathan Megan. Hope.

Trisha Sarah. So yeah. It's all sorted now.

It's not all sorted. But it's definitely. The majority of it is now.

Completed. And. I will.

I'll do the little bits and bobs that need doing. Over the next week or so. Just to.

Get back into. Just. To prettify it all.

You know. To. Stick the images back on and.

Then do a bit of work on my website. But. I don't want to spend.

All day. Like I have done for the last week. Doing this.

Because it's just hard. I find it hard to. Focus really.

On something that's. Boring. And boring me.

So. Just the uploading. It's.

I knew I needed to get it done. But it was. Difficult at times.

To stay awake. To do it. Difficult.

Difficult. Oh no. I'm a dumb.

Oh dear. Oh dear. Normally I only.

I yawn at the beginning. This. Today I'm yawning at the end.

I completely need to sleep. I could really do with a nice. A nice little nap.

Thing is it's six o'clock. In the evening. So to have a nap now.

Would be a very strange time. To have a nap. If anything it's kind of.

Maybe time to go to bed. But I don't want to go to bed. It's six o'clock.

I suppose. I suppose I could do. Does it really matter.

Does it. Hmm. So yeah.

This is. I suppose this is my. Kind of explanation.

Podcast. Episode. Soz.

And. Hmm. That's it really.

So I'm going to go. So thank you for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself.

Because you deserve to be happy. And be gentle with yourself. You deserve to feel safe.

Lots of love. Bye.
