Today is Thursday 28th May 2026, I think it might have started to rain. Ah bum bum bum which would be weird because it's warm outside. Anyway I mean it's not that weird but it's been we've had a heat wave and if it starts raining I just feel a bit weird having to get dressed up.

I might just go out in a just a normal shirt like I would do anyway and just get wet. I don't know is it you know I mean the idea of putting a coat on. I don't know getting my scuba suit on I don't know.

So today this is my third recording today. I did the ninth episode of Breaking Free from Control and Manipulation which was Rebuilding Self-Trust so that was the ninth one of them.

I also did a deep sleep hypnosis for Bruxism or Bruxism called the jaw that finally let go. And now this. Yeah so I did quite a few quite a few recordings this week.

I think part of the reason well part of the reason is because I want to but also you know I don't I don't I'm not always sure what the week's gonna bring you know so I might as well do it while I'm This this is silly I was not yawning before I started doing this. Honestly I felt fine well not that I feel unwell just that I was not super tired. I was listening to some classical music and just kind of dozing a little bit but definitely wasn't yawning.

It'll wear off eventually it never lasts and I've never done a recording where I've yawned all the way through the yawns just the yawns get bored of themselves I think. So Vinny's on the set he giving himself a little bed bath. Yeah let's say what have I done today I've done this this is pretty much from getting up this morning to now has been making recordings editing uploading and then having a break pretty much and taking him out so I've taken him out twice today.

Because it wasn't too hot I was the only one out at one o'clock but for me I mean it was windy didn't feel hot he didn't seem to be panting or anything. In fact if anything he was quite full of beans quite you know quite energetic. Stop yawning what I did find in the park was a little frisbee but it was a different kind of frisbee it wasn't just like a round frisbee it had four parts to it almost like a I'm gonna say starfish but yeah so I was chucking this starfish around the park.

I thought I'll give it a go and I wasn't very good it did travel but it landed quite abruptly and if I remember rightly I mean if you're if you're not throwing the frisbee to another human then you know if you're just playing with it on your own you're just playing with yourself then part of the thing is to kind of see how far you can get it to glide and then for it to kind of just glide slowly towards the ground rather than just crash or maybe even kind of trying to aim it so it lands on a specific spot but you know it's been a a while since I did anything like that unless of course you count you know a few hours ago and then Vinny started attacking it and I thought no that's not fair because that that frisbee because it looked quite a special one it wasn't just a plastic frisbee it looked quite kind of high-tech not high-tech I mean it didn't have a computer system built in so I had to stop then for a second or for a few seconds okay a minute and three seconds there was some uh dogging activity outside but it seems to have calmed down oh this is the new news for today are you ready for this yesterday I was thinking about my Hawaiian shirts because I've got two Hawaiian shirts and they're big and baggy which is what I want and they're very comfortable and colorful kind of and I thought to myself I'm going to get some more so I looked back into the order because I bought them last summer time or you know just at the beginning of the summer and I looked back and I went to the page where they they do different colors and different different styles and stuff and they're not they're not expensive but I bought four four of these shirts Hawaiian shirts and I got them a size bigger because I've put a bit of weight on and it says double xl or something I think it is double l double double xl instead of one xl double xl and they came through today I'm not sure the the coloring and the designs a little bit wacky a little bit out there perhaps a little bit too colorful but there's some reason I have dedicated myself to wearing them and I'm going to I want to get a few more but I need to so the ones I've got is like there's a really pink one and there's a blue one and there's a couple of others that are sort of in that kind of color area but I want to get a few more yellow and green and you know sort of more different kind of colors as well and I've tried them all on and they all fit perfectly fine in fact the shoulder you know the the shoulder seam is exactly where it should be on a shirt so it's not really too big for me not really although you could fit a lot more of me in it if that makes sense it's not it's it's like the opposite to being tight and I don't want a tight t-shirt or a tight shirt so I got these I got some pedigree chums as well for Vinny some dog food I also ordered a hat so it's the thing is right I was told by the opticians that I need to really keep out of the sun with my eyes so I need to you know I've got the they're not polarization or whatever they're called you know where that is it polarization where they go dark when I'm out in the sun and which is fine because that does protect my son my son from the eyes my son from the eyes the thing is the sun goes over the frame and goes to the side of the frame so it's not blocking my eyes from getting the sun maybe it's because I'm so short if I was a bit taller the sun wouldn't be able to do that but because I'm so short and it's like I need I need something to block the top of the glasses so that the sun doesn't come in so I bought myself a hat it's not arrived yet it won't be here till possibly the 1st of June and if I'm happy with it I might get a different hat I might get a little collection again they're only cheap I don't I got don't ever buy any expensive stuff it's just be nice to wear different things instead of always wearing the same thing every day I mean I've got seven or eight pairs of dark tracksuit bottoms I've got two gray cardigans exactly the same it it probably looks like I'm wearing the same clothes every day but I'm not when I'm going out it's like oh yep it's Vinnie's dad because he's got the those dark blue tracksuit bottoms that are wearing wearing out so I want to kind of move away from that I want to just want to start having a few nicer things to wear a few different things so that I'm not so recognizable maybe just you know look a bit more presentable when I'm out in the world because if I go out like out out as in when I went to the dentist or the optician I don't wear the dark blue tracksuit bottoms that's only for when I'm at home or I'm taking him for a walk I've got two pairs of nice tracksuit bottoms that I wear I don't wear both at the same time I'm just you know one's gray one's blue or black yeah one's black one's gray and that because the thing is because I'm I'm top heavy like physically I'm very top heavy my legs are not I don't have I don't have fat legs I'm not like trying to you know brag because if I was trying to brag I wouldn't use that as a sentence hey ladies I don't have fat legs no it's not really a bragging thing is it like you know hey ladies my anus is clean like no it's just it's not a brag like I don't have body odor like no it's not really a compliment is it to myself not not going to impress anyone is I once washed my hands it would be nice to just wear some different stuff the thing is generally I've got very bland tastes hence the dark blue but boob the dark blue tracksuit bottoms and the gray cardigans I mean come on a great there's nothing more grim is it really great even when I bought the new tracksuit bottoms last year I got two pairs black or dark blue whatever I think black actually black and the other one's gray again I'm going for really um just they're not even colors are they they're just almost just what am I going for gray maybe that is is that my personality I've just got a gray personality it's so that's why I've got the Hawaiian shirts I thought you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna pringle things up I'm gonna you know toss toss everything in the air and say you know what let's get some color let's get some colors going which is what I've done with my tops at least and with the Hawaiian shirts I don't think anyone's gonna really notice what I'm wearing on my trousers because they are so colorful like intrusively colorful it's kind of almost like I feel like I should get permission from my neighbors before I go out in the street wearing them shirts they're a little bit full on they really are but I'm gonna get some more and yeah I am I'd like maybe try and get one a week the thing is they've all got like names the packaging came through they had names on the packaging came in plastic packaging folded up you know like that one was flamingo pink flamingo I think one's black flamingo but then there was another one and it just said ugly ugly t-shirt or ugly shirt and I thought is that short for something is that an anonymous or whatever you call it like no ugly and I thought why are you putting the word ugly on something that you're selling to your customers am I buying ugly shirts are they so bad that the people selling them can't can't stop themselves from from writing ugly on them that's bad isn't it it's like painting a picture and in the end of it just scribbling what a pile of crap and then trying to sell it selling it selling its people so I don't know I didn't personally find it ugly leary visually scaring visually scary maybe but ugly no I don't know I don't think I'd call them ugly mind you I've had a couple of people laughing at them like my other my other ones not always a good sign is it someone laughs at your clothing mind you the shirts I got did come under like um clothing summer wear and fancy dress so I suppose if I want to kind of go to a fancy dress party I can go as like a Hawaii 5-0 person or and this is going to be a reference that a lot of people won't remember or recognize I can be one of the men in oh wait a second the bowling club one of the men in the bowling club in the Wanderers one of them and they're all brothers and they all had these big shirts on massive men so that's a reference I wouldn't expect many people to remember in fact that reference is so it's so random that I don't even remember it I'm not the one that said it so um I'm gonna wear them anyway so I've got four I've already worn one worn once worn once one once won one war war war see I wore one earlier but I didn't go for the most glaringly like fantastical one to start with I went for the black one no the blue one sorry the blue one I quite like the blue one but you know flamingos are nice though aren't they flamingos it's a very summery thing isn't it it's like if I look at a flamingo I don't think of snow I don't think of fireworks I don't think of winters I think of summer beautiful weather and at least two of my shirts have got flamingos on them and I think that's very exciting maybe maybe not when my hat gets here I'm looking forward to the hat I do need it and then it's really weird having glasses but still not even be able to see things because the sun's shining in my face and I can't I have to kind of put my almost like I'm saluting people you know looking like what's that over there oh it's a tree and it'd be nice not to have to do that not you know not at all like banging into the tree because I can't see it it's just I'm walking on the grass and you know if you're a dog walker on a bit of grass where lots of dog walkers go then you know there's certain you need to be a little bit careful where you're standing but I need to be able to see the floor and that's another thing about my eyesight and I probably mentioned this and I'll probably mention it again I thought that when I've got my glasses my eyesight would be perfect and it's not and I realize it won't be it's just better with the glasses than without the glasses without the glasses being outside I can't function I'll put my glasses on actually I've got the wrong ones on that's better what am I doing in the bedroom that is with with the glasses on without the glasses I can't I can do stuff I can see you know short distance and stuff but I can't do anything I can't see people from a distance I can't can't get a bus things like that it's not because I can't see the bus my eyesight is not that bad but I can't see the number of the bus and I can't cross the road without my glasses because it's just I can't I can't see I don't know I've really got to explain that but I'm sure there's plenty of people listening that are wearing glasses and know what it's like you know I'm wearing I'm wearing glasses for a reason it's not just because I want to look super intelligent I remember years ago early 90s I had a job and I used to wear my glasses because I used to have to look at labels so I wore my glasses they were reading glasses I wear them all day and I'd go into the cafeteria to have my breakfast and I can't remember a name now there was two of them two ladies behind the counter oh what were their names anyway they used to one of them used to call I think they both did it they called me professor because I had glasses on you want your sausages professor they'd say Maureen Maureen Laura Meg Felicity I haven't thought about them two in absolute years and in all fairness I'd be surprised if they're still with us because they weren't young then they hopefully hope they are because I like both of them Audrey Audrey and Val I think it's Audrey and Val it's Val or Vera Val Audrey definitely Audrey was one of them and I think they were like in their 50s 60s but then I was in my 20s everyone looked old to me back then they might have only been in their 40s which means they'll be well and truly still around they'll be in their 70s Vinny just started barking for no apparent reason and he started another you know a domino effect so another dog started barking outside but there was no reason for Vinny to be barking I don't know what it was I guess he heard someone coming into the building or something I mean I got a neighbor downstairs that has been knocking on my door because she can't get into her flat because the door keeps sticking and this has been happening for weeks and I said like you need to contact the council so they can come and fix it because quite a few of the flats in this building have had the same problem I had it uncle sausages had it and okay that well at least that's two other two other two other flats that had that problem anyway and she doesn't seem to be calling the council and maybe she has now but I just the thing is if anyone knocks on the door he starts and he screams the whole building down and I'm not a big fan of it if I'm honest I don't really want him to be disturbing the neighbors especially in the evening and it's like eight eight o'clock in the evening that's just no so it'd be I prefer it not to happen also I need to find something which can block my knocker my door knocker so people can't use it because it's I get deliveries I don't get a huge amount of deliveries um but when I do get deliveries there's if they just press the doorbell or just tap on the door then you know Vinnie will bark but it's I don't know it gives me more of a like notice if they slam the door knocker bang bang bang shakes the whole building Vinnie goes absolutely he flips his lid as it were so I prefer that not to happen anymore and also if I'm in bed or if I'm in here listening to music and someone rings a doorbell I don't hear it because the doorbell doesn't ring on my phone and if they tap gently hopefully the music or whatever I'm doing the tv will block out that because I got the door closed as well if they hammer on the knocker Vinnie will hear it also if I'm in bed he will hear the door knocker won't always hear if someone's knocking if he's asleep so yeah I have to I need to find something that blocks the knocker from being used I did actually let me have a look see online I did yeah a couple of while back I put some glue on it what should I call it door knocker door door knocker stopper that's a good name I'll have to put that in buster and punch door stopper brushed door holder catch rubber buffer wall floor mount no that's not what I want I thought door knocker stopper would actually is quite self-explanatory but it's not it's not at all oh what's this strongest home wall and door stopper heavy duty nope that's to stop doors from slamming or from closing door knocker stopper door knocker door oh no stopper door knocker cabinet door stops okay so there's a door knocker door handles knobs and more British handmade iron iron mungery iron iron I heard someone pronounce that iron as iron you don't pronounce the r well I don't pronounce the r chrome and brass door knockers see they're selling door knockers but I don't want my door knocker to work but I can't remove it because it's not my door doesn't belong to me I just want to stop it from being knocked does that make sense it does make sense to me it's got to be something I can put over it I've tried well I have done stuff um I tried super glue that didn't work super glue isn't as super as I thought it would be and then I put um what's that black tape the black tape that you put over stuff and I did that and like completely kind of covered it with that black tape so no one could use it and I forget they call it gorilla gorilla tape or whatever that just looked messy it really looked messy so I got rid of that and then I put a sign over the door knocker saying do not disturb do not knock at this door unless you're delivering from Amazon and sometimes people would actually undo the piece of paper and knock like use a door knocker so I blocked the door knocker so it couldn't be used and people were still using it I mean the same thing happened when I moved in here and I told people I met that I was making recordings this is like 11 years ago I said I make recordings I don't necessarily want people knocking on my door when I'm in the middle of a podcast or in the middle of a hypnosis recording so and I think someone might say well how are we supposed to know how should we know when you're doing it so I got a sign I'm making a recording go away or you know don't don't disturb me and I remember the first time I put it up I was making recording and what did I hear knock knock knock knock and I left it up for about three or four weeks thinking someone's gonna see it and someone's gonna take notice nope everybody ignored it magnetic door stopper strong all right I'm going to put in a different way so door knocker jammer what about that one jammer jammer jammer nope this is now doors jammers stopping doors from opening and closing why is it gotta be so complicated I mean in fact these are quite good because these are jammers and really good for security so you can like stop you know they they're really good for that but I it's not what I want it for door jammer and I've heard lockdown door jammer no this is okay if I so if I go to stop door knocker working fitting a through fixed door knocker on UPVC and composite doors I'm not asking if you can tell me how to fit a door how how do they get that from these this is a sentence I wrote in or these are the words put together it's not really a sentence necessarily stop door knocker working okay that seems quite easy to understand but copilot you know the AI for whatever windows or whatever it is that's just working is basically telling me how to fit a door knocker no nope I thought I'd found something there master in door etiquette how to politely stop unwelcome knockers now everybody is an unwelcome knocker not everybody is an unwelcome visitor but everyone is an unwelcome knocker when it comes to knocking to using my knockers my knocker I don't want it I just don't want it used it's too noisy and so if they tap on the door Vinny hears that says fine if he can't hear it it means I'm busy you know I mean and if it's someone like a friend and they want to pop around and see me or they need to talk to me they can phone me you know I mean so so in today's fast-paced world this is from softhandtech.

com this is from 2025 in today's fast-paced world the concept of personal space and privacy has become increasingly important while many people enjoy the occasional surprise visit do they good for them others find the constant door knocking disruptive and intrusive yep whether it's telemarketers religious groups or simply overly friendly neighbors knowing so knowing how to handle these interruptions with grace and effectiveness is a vital skill understanding the reason behind door knocking that sounds like a really weird thing understanding the reason behind door knocking is because they're trying to get your attention and get you to open the door I can't even figure that one out community outreach I got that dog in the background it's not shutting up charities religious groups I've got an I've got a message on my door do not disturb me I've also got a sticker that I put on my letterbox saying no uh flyers or junk mail and I still get crap put through my letterbox still when I actually saw someone delivering leaflets opposite me they turned around they stepped back they read the sign on my letterbox and then they put their hand in their bag and they posted it through that that in itself just I mean come on and I'm the one that has to get rid of that stuff you know I'm the one that has to recycle all that rubbish they put I do I've actually got a bunch of stuff near my front door and I just collect it and probably every every couple of months I could probably fill a recycling bag just with crap that's come through and all I'm just moaning now and I what about letters that come through saying to the to the person that lives here to to the owner or to the the home dweller that if you don't know my name don't be sending me a letter and then I got some kind of census from my local council like you know the the council housing service saying we know about 60 percent of people that are moved in and which houses and you know which flats are rented and stuff but we need to get the rest so if you can fill this survey in how can you not know that I live here you rented me the property they rented me the property 11 years ago I signed a contract I had to show identification they handed me the keys they've been in multiple times they receive rent for 11 years how could they not know who I am I mean not not as a person they're not necessarily going to know what my hobbies and likes are whether or not I'm ticklish you know do I enjoy honey but it's this is one of those things where basically it's an article and they're just spreading it out it's full of adverts and they're just spreading it out talking completely guff why would people need to come around you know you could put creative signs such as no solicitor in that's classic and from saying something like I can't remember what it was but I was like oh that's interesting and I looked at it and it was a story from 2002 and they just had a story on there from 2008 about Amanda Holden it's like why now this is interesting boxing star Delicious Ori what a great name the thing is I think if you're called Delicious and you go to school you're probably going to have to learn to put you know defend yourself Delicious Ori reveals why he retired after just one professional fight I remember the build-up to him starting and it wasn't it wasn't a great debit fight but quite often they're not but basically and yeah he's he was kind of part of the new generation coming up so he was a gold he won a gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games why is he making so much noise and he was selected for the Paris Olympics in 24 how did he get on at the Olympics less than a year later Ori earned his first professional contract I don't know if he went to the Olympics anyway so he beat Milos Velitic on points in his first fight but we've been he's 28 years old see that's the thing he's not a young a young man he's not old blimey compared to me he's a baby but he's 28 he's drinking the whole bowl of water that's the most I've ever seen him drink in my life that was a good minute's worth of drinking so yeah he was 28 it's gonna take usually takes three three years so he can't get into the bigger fights so he'll be in his 30s before he kind of started to you know I don't know anyway let's find out why he left he said it was a big mental shift for me it was a bit strange and caught me off guard for a couple of months but I'm eight months in now it feels like what oh he I missed a bit out he announced his shock retirement and planned to enter the corporate world instead I wonder if he had to give his money back so I know that I think Audley Harrison when he won the Olympic gold turned professional and this is just from memory he got a 1 million pound contract to turn professional now he you if you just had one fight and then retired he I'm sure he would have had to give back a majority of that 1 million pounds so I don't know how it worked out for Ori there's nothing to do with me is it Ori delicious just interested really so he's happy that he's doing that now so he's a charted he's charted as a financial advisor mind you because considering his size you know if he gives you advice you're probably just going to take it and you know here's the advice to give you it's going to cost you 100 grand you're going to take the advice yeah it is it's my checkbook just put down the number and I'll sign it so I guess because he was you know he was successful as an amateur is I was wondering about that though because there was quite a big build-up to him because you know turning professional and there was the hype and also he oh come on is the name delicious it's a memorable name isn't it delicious Ori it almost sounds like a like a dessert some kind of ice cream or mousse or something tasty doesn't it so there's a few that I keep trying to who's um new heavyweight UK gets beaten Jamie TKV there was a heavyweight boxer like a new heavyweight boxer who got beat and it's almost like he's disappeared off the face of the world and I can't find I can't remember who it was that's a bit annoying because he got he's got he got beaten by what is called a journeyman where yeah it's someone basically some of these so-called journeymen I do believe could win the fights if they wanted to they're paid not to win they're paid to I think the ones that perhaps aren't so good are put in there to get knocked out but the ones that are good or the ones that are much better will take the the new fighter rounds take them to distance and some of those fighters that can do that could potentially win I think sometimes they have the option to win because I know in boxing as corrupt as anywhere else I think and I think they probably get told you know you need to not come out at the end of round three or you need to go the distance but you you can't if you see openings you can't hurt the other fighter just give him give him a good fight but don't hurt you know don't hurt him because you know he's just learning the professional route so I kind of think that might be happening but then some some journeymen they don't care and they just go in and they go in to win and sometimes they do they win and they get it like spirals them up into being and well just getting bigger fights that's really bugged me what's the heavyweight heavyweight heavyweight Olympian returns as Zuffer Boxing former uh how it's two hours ago fans question plans of uncrowned Tim Bradley more adverts all I want to do is just read it and it's saying telling me about Iceland you can get coffee you know and Pepto-Bismol well if I drink coffee I'm gonna need the Pepto-Bismol I think that's what you call irony I'm not touching that I'm going away from that it's annoying me now I can't remember the name of the heavyweight but we've got a couple of heavyweights in this country that are really good like new ones the thing is there's heavyweights all over the world there could be the next big thing at the moment it's all on Moses Atal on the shoulders has been the next heavyweight champion and the next ruler of the heavyweight division but there might be someone some 18 year old in America in a Bronx gym or in Sweden or in Canada or Australia or anywhere South Africa who's also coming up or there might be someone that's has not even turned professional yet they will go up the ranks really quickly you know they'll turn professional and then within three years they'll be fighting for world title because they're that good so it's there's no way of knowing out of all the ones I've seen I do think Moses Atal is the best however however every now and then I get reminded of it's not just heavyweights I mean but particularly heavyweights is that punch it takes one punch and that was that happened at the weekend and it was um I forget his name is a Cuban fighter he's only lost once to Caballal and he was fighting Terrell I think his name was for America an unbeaten fighter a potential contender basically and he was running rings around the Cuban hitting them at will wobbling not wobbling webbing we've been wobbling weaving whatever and it seemed like well this bloke's gonna win he's just gonna outbox him and eventually I suppose maybe knock him out but definitely outboxing and then the Cuban fighter threw a punch an uppercut and the other bloke was on his back gone that was it and that's the thing with heavyweight boxing it really is um I don't think any is there a heavyweight boxer that would have been a that in that in that position I think anybody and everyone would have gone down at that maybe not everyone Fabio Wardley's not he's never been down so I don't think he'd go down but it's hard to know is his name Cruz is Cruz the Cuban that's another thing I struggled with so he what do they call it when you leave your country and become an American but not not through just like living there and stuff but actually you know when you leave not America but whatever country you leave your country and and use that as a safe haven oh whatever that name is that's what he did I think he did it after the Olympics but that's what he did he went to America and like for safe safe haven and stuff like that and boxed out of America and as far as I'm aware probably can't leave America can never go back to Cuba yet on his ring walk he had a flag that was both American and Cuba so that made no sense to me because he left that country do you know what I mean abrogated not abrogated delegated absconded what's the word when someone leaves and I don't know oh Biddle's fighting at the weekend so that would be good Bill and Smith's fighting at the weekend as well I think let me have a look I still didn't find out the knocker just the knocker stocker right upcoming fights Foster versus Ford that's this coming weekend that's in America Biddle against Ifart Ifart it is it's honestly Ifart that's his name Biddle against Ifart on the 30th that's in Germany is it in Germany it is Germany why am I thinking it's in Germany so it's the light heavyweight championship IBF and WBA and also what okay I got this wrong this 30 there's a lot on this weekend that's all I'm saying there's a lot on that's a lot right that's too many too many fights so there's one in the UK or Russia Russia I knew it was somewhere Biddle because Biddle's Russian Russian isn't he and I don't know where Ifart is from and so see him in Russia I'm not sure if I've ever seen a boxing live from Russia before I mean there was a Russian heavyweight champion who was that like huge the biggest heavyweight in history I forget his name but he was massive I think he held the world title twice and he got beaten by David Haye he was huge absolutely huge so on the Biddle undercard you've got Tukov Shekhov Betancourt and Pepsiti then also in the United States Serrano versus Hansen it's all female that's on Sky Sports ESPN so I won't be watching that there's a fight in Germany there's a fight in Belgium there's a fight in another one in United States Gambo Espinoza that's really weird because I'm pretty sure there was a phenomenal audience isn't it a YouTube a live YouTube fight worldwide it could be the biggest audience ever but then everybody's got to get paid and I'm not sure where the money would come from to pay because I can have adverts in between rounds which is a shame because I think that ruins the fighting it ruins the boxing to keep having adverts between rounds because I want to see I want to see what the what's happening between rounds you know I want to see what the the trainers saying to the boxer more punch him more that kind of stuff I miss it if I don't see that I'd like to know what's going
