Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.

And this, this is Let Me Bore You To Sleep. And furthermore, I said that like it was a question. Let Me Bore You To Sleep.

No, it's Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Q&A Friday, Q&A, Q&A, Q&A Friday. Yeah, that time of the week that no one looks forward to.

It's back. Hmm. So I hope you're well.

It is Friday, the 10th of the 10th, 2025. So both England and America are sharing the same date. Doesn't happen very often.

Happens on the first of the first. The first of January, we share the same numbers. 2nd of February, 3rd of March, 4th of April, so on up to December 12th of December.

So only 12 times a year do we have the same date. So tomorrow, America will have 1011. And we will have 1110.

See, just it's the way things are. Let me have a look. Just gonna see.

Oh, wait a minute. I'm just trying to get my Jason Newland's boring group up. So I'd like to say thank you.

Welcome to those that have joined the group. Vinnie has decided to start barking. Vinnie was really good just then.

So he was asleep on the bed. He loves being on the bed. So when I'm in here, making a podcast, I mean, he's not in the bed now.

He's now at my feet, but he quite likes being on the bed, or at least having the option. Instead of having me close the door in here and him being pretty much just stuck in one room. I also personally prefer to have the door open, rather than being stuck in one room.

And it's something about having a door open. Even though I'm in this room, it doesn't feel like I'm just in a room. Because there's a door that makes sense to me.

But because there's a doorway there, and it's open, and I can see through the doorway, kind of. I'm on a well, I can't see right through it. But I can see a bit of it based on where I'm sitting.

Now, normally, Vinnie would start barking when someone goes into their house, or into their flat. But this time, he just like, walked up to the front door, sniffed and then came back. And now he's sitting at my feet.

Which makes me think he's maybe starting to get used to people. I mean, it's only been three years since he's lived here nearly. Or perhaps he's just chilling out, you know, with his old age.

Because he's, what is he now? He's kind of getting on to middle age now, isn't he, I suppose, in a way. I mean, it'll always be a puppy. It'll always be my little puppy, but I wish I'd had him from a puppy though.

I mean, he was 10 months old, so he kind of, it felt like he was still a puppy. But in reality, in 10 months, was it I say, seven years for every year. So he was a toddler, I guess, when I got him.

He was just starting school. That'd be nice though. If he could, if I could have this door open, and also if I could go to bed at night, without having to have some music playing, so that he doesn't start barking at any sound.

I'd quite like that. I mean, don't get me wrong, I do like listening to an audio book or, and, you know, listening to some music or the radio, especially on a Friday and a Saturday night. Not always, I don't, you know, I never used to, before I got him, I would go to bed and that would be it.

I would never listen to any music or anything. Because I don't, don't need to do that. But he, I have to have something there, just loud enough to distract him from what's going on outside our front door.

Unless I have my door closed, the bedroom door closed, and I don't like having the bedroom door closed. I've got a thing about closed doors today. I just don't like closed doors, don't you know.

I like the air flow. I have the windows open all the time. Even at night, I have them open on the latch, but they're open.

And during the day, I'll open them up. In the bathroom, living room, the bedroom, in the kitchen as well, generally. So, I like to have the airflow running around.

And because of the shape of the flat, there's no air in the hallway. This is very kind of stagnant in the hallway because there's no windows or anything. So if you go out of the bedroom, turn right, and then you go down the hallway, turn left, and then there's the front door.

I have to have the light on every time I go into the hallway, because I can't see where I'm going. Because there's zero light. Even if the, even if the bedroom and the living room lights are on, still can't see into the hallway.

Can't see. I mean, I guess I could if there was nothing on the floor. I don't mean a carpet.

I mean, I've sometimes got bits and bobs around. If there's nothing on the floor, then I could just walk up and I can sort of gauge my way by touching the wall and stuff. Other than that, I would, I need the light on.

I started to think I need to get my eyes tested. It's not really related to what I'm talking about. But just, it's something I've been putting off.

And it is, I got to get it done really. But I just know it's going to cost money. And see, I'm not bothered about, I need, I'm going to need glasses for reading separate.

I can't do these actor, whatever they go on these different lenses or one lens can't do that anymore. So I'm gonna. Okay.

Because on as I look at the computer screen, I can only read the writing if I look through the bottom of my glasses. And if I look through the top or the middle, can't see the words, I can see them, but they're not there. They're fuzzy.

If I take my glasses off, actually, they clear up with the bottom of my glasses. Then if I take my glasses off, but if I look at them through the top of my glasses, they clear my glasses off. It was weird.

So because that's for distance, I guess it's not weird, really. So I need at least two pairs of glasses, one for reading, one for day to day living. Now, I don't care what the ones for reading look like.

Makes no difference to me because no one's ever going to see them. I don't really go out to read. You know, I don't.

I used to when I was younger, I'd go into park and read a book or maybe sit on a, on the tube and read a book or go into a bookstore and, you know, but I don't do that stuff anymore. So really, if I was going to read something, it'd be here. I mean, I guess I'd need to have them on me in case I needed to read, but I can read without glasses as far as read.

What do you mean you can read as far as read? That doesn't even make sense. Now, what I mean is, I can't read a book. I can't just be like reading for half an hour or an hour without glasses because that's just eyestrain.

But if I need to read a label or something like that that's close up, I'm fine. But distance, I can't be without glasses for distance. So without my glasses, I can't see the number of the bus until it's like ready to stop.

In fact, I struggled to see the numbers of the bus even with my glasses on now. And it might sound weird, but I can't, without my glasses, I can't even see the bus. I can.

I can't see where it's going. So my eyesight is definitely not good. It's not sure how to really explain it.

It's definitely gone down. When you think of a bus, I don't know where you live, if you have buses or electricity, but in this country, we have these like big vehicles. I'm sure you probably have buses, don't you have buses and trains where you live? But we have these things and they're like big, big cars really with lots of seats.

And people sit on them, or sit on the seats. I wouldn't say sit on the bus. I mean, in some countries, they do actually sit on the bus and on top of a train, but not here.

That's not allowed. He really did start barking then. I had to take a little break, bring him in and shut the door.

He's now on the naughty step. On the naughty step. Not the naughty step.

The naughty step. What was I talking about anyway? Welcome to the new members of Jason Newland's boarding group. If you'd like to join my Facebook group, I like to think of it as our Facebook group.

Then there is a link on my website. At the top of the page, it says join Jason Newland. It just sounds stupid.

I'm saying it because it's just exactly what I just said to you. It says join Jason Newland's boarding group on Facebook. Click on that and it takes you to the group.

That is it. Every time I release a new recording, it's on there. Also, every week, I post a thing saying any questions for this week's Q&A Friday.

If I remember, I put the date that it's going to be on and then you can leave your question. I've had five this week. I did post it quite early.

I think I posted on Monday. I think Monday. Also, please let me know if where you listen to my podcasts, whether it's Apple Podcasts, Spotify, wherever it is that you listen.

If on your podcast, it's not coming up, I mean, give it a couple of hours. Sometimes it doesn't do it instantly. But if what I post, you know, the latest recording on to the Jason Newland's boarding group on Facebook, yeah, it hasn't come up on Apple Podcasts or Spotify or wherever it is you're listening.

If you can let me know, please, and I'll try and sort it out. But they should all be. Apparently, I've gone on, done a bit of research.

And sometimes Apple does do this. This is not I'm not the first person that's done it to where they just stop updating. Part of the problem might be because of how many recordings I do.

I mean, each release six versions of each recording, that probably doesn't help. But also I am. I'm probably one of the most prolific podcasters out there.

Because I do. Even though it might not seem it because I don't, I might go a few days, I do do a hell of a lot of podcasts, do a lot of episodes, you know, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. But apparently, you can reset it by just refreshing the Apple Podcast.

And it should refresh the feed. Now I've refreshed the feeds myself a couple of weeks ago on my side. And I check every single one every now and then to make sure that it's all up to date.

So if I go to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. And relax your back. I've been heckled by the water bottle and Vinnie at the same time.

Earlier on, well, five hours ago, to be precise, I did number 39 of my let me bore your pain away. And it's relax your back. So that that's all updated there on the Let Me Bore You To Sleep.

Hypnosis for sleeping deeply, it's updated. Now deep sleep whisper hypnosis. That's updated said last one was six days ago, so that's fine.

And I'm intense, intending to do one on Wednesday. But it's quite difficult to find the right time to do a whisper recording because of the background sounds. It's really that simple with this.

You know, it was easier easier when I'd be up all night in the past, because not a lot happens in the middle of the night. Except now I sleep at night. I used to sleep during the day and be up at night.

That was just my preferred way of living. relaxation for stress and panic attacks. Right, so that's up to date.

Stop smoking hypnosis. Number 15 outdated beliefs. So that's up to date.

I need to do some more days. I haven't done one for blimey three years nearly. And let me bore your pain away.

So that's up to date. So that went on today. Monday sleeping boring objects I know is not up to date because I have to hit the length of August is the last one on that particular podcast.

Although I do put them on to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. podcast. I just need to sift through them because I got a little bit muddled with the different episodes.

And then we've got Jason's bedtime story time that's up to date. The last one I've done there was number 31. Alice needs a poo on the fourth of January 2025.

I'm thinking maybe I could try and do one a week. I don't know. I don't know.

We'll see. We'll see what happens. So I do check them sporadically.

And also I can go onto the website and I can check the Spotify ones as well. So Let Me Bore You To Sleep on Spotify. Yep, that's working.

Hypnosis is sleeping deeply, which is like the main main podcast that has everything on it. Yep, that's working. Deep Sleep Whisper podcasts.

Yes. Stress and panic attacks. Yes.

Stop smoking. Yes. Let me bore your pain away.

Updated. Yeah. Yeah, Monday sleepy boring objects and Jason's bedtime story time Alice needs a poo.

Yeah. The reason I've only got links on a website to Apple podcasts and Spotify is because they are by far the two main places where people listen in the world. But my podcasts are available.

As are pretty much most podcasts on lots of different places. And for example, in fact, I don't know why. But I actually get an Apple podcast is still the number one place where people listen to me.

But I know I also get some I'll be able to speak in a minute. Podcast Addict is number two. Spotify is number three.

Then Spreak is number four. That might be because the speaker recordings are on my website. So that might be why speakers number like it's higher up than it used to be.

There's lots of different ones, lots of different places. Hmm. What about yesterday? Oh, my troubles seems so.

Well, yesterday, Spreaker was number two. Spotify was number three. Blimey.

Podcast. Podcast Addict wasn't even on there. I didn't get one yesterday from them.

See, that's just goes to show is just so there's no way to know. I don't know why my voice is so squeaky today. But there's no way of really guessing what's going on.

Because it's sporadic. It's not not that regular. It's not that predictable.

So top countries still United States or this is today, Canada, Canada, United Kingdom three. So again, that's changed. So United Kingdom is pretty much always second most of the time.

Then Australia, the Netherlands, Ireland, Chechya, Norway, Sweden, Germany. So it's you know, yesterday, it was United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Norway. So it's those those countries are always at the top.

Basically, United States, UK, Canada, Australia, Norway, Ireland, Sweden, Germany, New Zealand, South Africa. They seem to be the kind of the top top kind of countries. But then Belgium's always in the list.

Ghana, Mexico, Lithuania. I just had a voice in my head say, this is a Q&A Friday. I don't need to get on the questions.

And I'm pretty sure there's a few people out there agreeing with me. By the way, check out the let me boil your pain away. Relax your back.

I think it's an okay session actually. And it's the first thing I've done. First time I've done anything outside of the Let Me Bore You To Sleep for a while.

After a few weeks. First question, I'm going to answer this one first. Who is Molly? Says Karen.

And so who is Molly? I got no idea. She appeared out of nowhere and took over the group took it over. I tell you.

And she bosses me around. That's why I call her the boss because she bosses me around tells me what to do. shouts at me, sends Texas all school capital letters.

We know what that means. shouty, shouty Molly we call her. No, Molly is in charge of this group.

She is the boss. She I'm being serious now. The other bits were not serious.

I sometimes wonder how much of what I say is taken to heart, taken as serious. I hope that it's not. I generally do you know, I'm not saying it like when I'm doing a recording.

If I say something genuine, like, you know, I appreciate you listening. You can take that serious. We don't have to take anything serious.

But you know, I mean that. But I do like play around and stuff. This isn't really supposed to be a super serious recording.

Yeah, Molly proper evil she is. No, Molly. I met Molly.

I've not met her. But I first met her online. I mean, chances are we'll never actually meet in real person, you know, because she's lives in Australia.

So is the likelihood of us actually being in the same room together is highly unlikely really. But you never know, it's possible. When I do my world tour.

And I do a tour Australia I think I'd rather do my world tour and start in another country, and then work my way back to the UK. Yeah, and maybe the last two countries I do be maybe Ireland. And then we're not last two the last area.

So Ireland, then maybe Wales, Scotland, and then England. And I'll just like, as I fill in the arenas, the arenas, as I fill in the little rooms, or maybe half fill in the little rooms above pubs. So maybe 1015 people in each one.

I'll make my way back home and I can just end up at the swan, the duck and swan or whatever it is some pub up the road. And maybe use that function room and I can just finish and come home and chill out. I haven't done my world tour.

The thing is, you know, even I, you know, I have these little, you know, if you had these little dreams, you have these little ideas that there's someone out there looking to do something nice. Do you ever have that feeling that like, I'm not a very proactive person. I am as far as making content.

I think I'm I think I can safely say I'm definitely a content creator. And I am fairly regular. I'll go I have moments when I can't.

I'll be honest, you know, I've got bipolar and I've got other stuff going on. And you know, sometimes I can't be as reliable as I would like. But I do keep going.

I do keep doing it. And by the way, when I say I'm bipolar, I'm not trying to get you trying to like, oh, oh, poor JJ. Obviously, he has moods.

He has little moods. I don't mean it like that. Which I know some people think that's what it's about.

Oh, you have bipolar Jason. Does that mean sometimes you're happy? And sometimes you're sad? Is that what it means? You mean like everyone else in the world? No, stop being rude. Oh, you're feeling a bit down today.

Are you? Oh, there's enough sunshine outside. Amazing how many people really don't. I've known people in the past.

And hard to believe I have had a girlfriend once. I once touched a boobie. But that's enough about mine.

No. So I was going to say something rude then about my dad. And I might.

It's been a couple of people in my life had no concept of any kind of mental ill health at all, couldn't grasp it. And then they went through it themselves. And unfortunately, because I wouldn't want anyone to go through it.

And then they kind of got a grasp, a little bit of a grasp of the fact that other people have these problems. And perhaps in the past, they were maybe not laughing at them. But not taking it seriously, not like being dismissive, you know, I mean, and, and I've done that myself.

I'm not, I'm no better than anybody. I've, I've been dismissive about all kinds of things over the years. And I mean, I make jokes about ginger people.

But I have, I like ginger people as a thing. The reason I make jokes about them is because I like them. I really like ginger people.

And it's not because of their personalities. There's nothing wrong with ginger people's personalities. But you know what I mean? They're not great people.

I'm joking. But I've, I've got ginger friends. Oh, my God, sounds like a racist in it.

Oh, I'm not racist. But okay, let's move away from ginger people. But you know, I've dated quite a few girls that had ginger hair.

And it's just, it's one of those things, it's actually not a fetish. I'm not saying it's a fetish, but it's definitely an attract, it's something that attracts me. I don't know why.

I mean, it must have been something from when I was really little, perhaps I had someone with ginger hair was really nice to me when I was little. I don't know. You never know, do you? And but, and also, it runs in my family.

I'm not just going to start talking about it, because I've talked about it the other day. But it's a very prominent gene in my family. And if I had kids, I would say there's a 50% chance the kids would be ginger.

That much, seriously. It's a really high, there's a high risk of ginger. So that's what the doctor said.

And I remember when my doctor said that to my girlfriend at the time. And I thought, oh, this is going to be a difficult conversation. It was going to be, we're gonna have to have a long, drawn out conversation.

But I was wrong. I didn't have to do that because you left me. So who is Molly? Who is Molly? Molly is an absolutely lovely person that lives in Australia.

And I think it was pre lockdown. So it was about 2019. I mean, I know it was actually because, or was it 2018, 2019? Roughly.

I did a competition. I might have this wrong, because I've done a few things over the years. I do like to chop and change tonight.

But I did this thing where the website I was using allowed people to leave video comments, video testimonials. So I asked for some video testimonials. And it was a competition, I think.

And Molly, who was listening regularly, she left a video testimonial. And that's when I first got to know I think, I think she might have even won. I can't remember.

I don't remember who. And unless it wasn't, maybe it was just a testimonial, and there was no prize. So much has happened over the years.

Oh no, Squeaky's back. Right, hopefully shouldn't be too noisy. But there's going to be some noise in the garden.

And very high pitched screeching. Hopefully not too loud. So I yeah, that's where Molly arrived.

It's sort of into my vision as it were. So that would be, you know what? That would be before I even started this group. Did I start the group? Or did Molly start the group? I don't even know anymore.

I'll be honest with you. But Molly's been around since the right from the start of this, the group, pretty much. And she's been running it.

She's actually in charge of the group. I'm just a member. I'm not.

I am an admin, I think. But she's, she is in charge of the group. And which is kind of how it should be really is it feels it feels a bit weird for me to be in charge of a group about me.

You know, sometimes I feel a bit you know, when someone joins, I feel I want to say welcome, but I'm thinking they might not know who I am. Which is kind of ridiculous, bearing in mind my name is the group. It's just sometimes I forget what a superstar I am.

That was also not not true either as well. It wasn't real. So yeah, Molly's lovely.

Molly's a very lovely person. And she's got about 17 children, I think. She gives birth every few days.

And yeah, that's that's who Molly is. So Molly is the administrator of the group. If the group grows, like substantially grows, then maybe I'll leave it up to Molly if she wants to add another administrator.

But right now, it's a small group like 233 members. And so I just I leave Molly to, to there's not much to do to be fair. It's not a full time job.

It's and even you know, if I see someone's asked to join, I just just accept it as well. So you know, it's if I'm not around, then Molly will accept it. If I see it, I'll accept it.

So it's not, it's not a lot to do. I don't think unless I'm just don't know what goes on behind the scenes. But that's who Molly is.

How do you not know who Molly is? So yeah, that's Molly. So Karen, welcome. I'm guessing you're quite new to the group.

And I should know that really, shouldn't I? Well, don't know you're not really what you are 19th of September 2025. So hello. Hello.

What have I done? It's nearly a month, isn't it? It's kind of nearly a month. But yeah, if I answered that question, I think I've answered it. So that's Molly.

Don't upset her. Oh, she's vicious. She's not she's not.

She's I don't know. Molly, have you ever banned anyone? Because I don't. I might not see that you say because if anyone posts a comment that's not very nice.

Doesn't happen. I don't hardly ever happens. That's why it's a small group.

That's why it's a private group. And I said this before and I do mean it. I do have the best listeners.

Okay, so there's not millions of people on this group. But if there was how many of those would be listening to me? In reality, how many of those would be actually involved in the group? How many people will be looking at the posts? It'd be a lot of people just coming on pressing join, and then they never come back again. But because it's just that extra thing of asking to join a group.

And you can't I don't know, I kind of feel get to know some of the people that do post and yeah, it's I had no idea what my point was there. I felt like I had a really good point and then it was like a wave that just turned into a just little foamy, foamy bath, you know, there was those big waves like oh, and then just when it actually gets to the shore, it just looks like a bath being emptied, a bubble bath being emptied, like came to nothing in the end.

That's what that was.

So Sarah says, Thank you, Karen, and welcome to the group again. I mean, I know you've been there since the 19th. So you've been there for nearly three weeks.

So welcome. And there's been quite a few people joined this week. And I did put an advert on Facebook.

So I'm hoping that those have joined didn't just that might do listen to my stuff. Sarah is the next person. Actually, Molly, if you like, you could always post a message on here just saying, telling everyone that you're the boss and tell everyone off.

Be all strict. These are the rules. These are the rules.

Sarah says, Hi, Jason. I'm going to do it in Sarah's voice. Hi, Jason.

Hope you're well. Not sure if you've been asked this before, as I'm normally asleep. But would you consider visiting Thailand again? Do you have any friends that would take Vinnie? Oh, thanks, Sarah.

I don't know. I mean, I'll answer the second question first. I don't know about Vinnie.

Because I don't. Yeah, I'm not sure if I've got anyone that would actually look after him. Sometimes I think I do.

And then I don't see these people for periods of time. And I don't know. Yeah.

At the moment, there's no one I'd want to leave him with. Right now, until I kind of I need to sort it out. I mean, I could leave him in kennels.

And there is. I probably could have left him with Uncle sausages, actually. But I don't know.

He might have been a bit too much for Uncle sausages all the time. But that's not an option anymore. And I know probably downstairs neighbors would would have him if they didn't have cats.

Many treats would probably love to have him but I imagine she'd have him for maybe an afternoon. But she couldn't know and a week or two weeks is too much to ask for her to do that because that put her on hold. And she will be able to keep up with him because he'd be running around running circles around.

He's got another uncle that he would love to spend time with. But I think it might be a case of having someone move in here for two weeks and looking after him. And I don't fancy that if I'm honest with you.

I don't really like the idea of anyone else being in my home. That's why it'd be nice if I had a girlfriend and then she could look after him while I go on holiday. Yeah, no, I don't know.

I mean, the first part of the question. Would I consider visiting Thailand? Yeah, that's 100% yes. And if money if I could afford to do it, I would do it.

Yeah, I would go. I wouldn't go tomorrow. But I would you know, I'd go pretty much whenever it was possible.

Because it'd be nice to get away. And both times I went I was first time I broke my rib second time I had a chest infection. I mean, I think I might have had something worse.

But it was a definitely very bad chest infection that lasted most of the time that I was there. And I broke my rib on the second day. The first time.

And I came home early because of that. See, yeah, they still had a little bit of fun, but not not much because I was in I was not well. So if I went back.

Yeah, it'd be nice to do it properly. Yeah, I'd like to I'd like I think I would. I think I would.

But there's a lot of places I'd like to go to. I quite like the idea. I mean, the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of getting on to a cruise ship and traveling around the world.

Not all in one go because I got Vinnie so it'd be you know, the odd weekend or the odd week here and there, you know, you know, if finances allowed it. But that would be I think that would be good for me good for me in a sense of growth in a sense of opening up my eyes to stuff and I'll be honest, the main thing I'm looking for out of life now is to have something new to talk about.

That's that's what I like.

I like, you know, I can get I can get material out of nothing. So when something's actually happening, when, you know, there's stuff to talk about, it was a little bit harder in Thailand because I did do a recording but because I was unwell and it was just a bit harder to do anything. But providing I'm okay, I could do a podcast every day if I was on a on a cruise ship.

And I'd have things to talk about. There'd be stories about what it's just things have happened that would never happen here. While I'm sitting in my flat, you know, I mean, it's just this is a very is a limited amount of things that can occur when I'm watching television.

So yeah, I mean, as far as Vinnie, I probably yeah, there's a particular person, but I don't know if they're able to look after him at the moment. So because she's his mum, so she she had him before I had him. But now her partner's got a dog, and they don't get on.

Vinnie doesn't get on with that dog. Which is such a shame because it's I think it's a jealousy thing and they both they both want to be top dog. So I don't know if it'd even be an option for him to stay there for a week or two.

It's also not an option for me to go away anyway. No, no time soon. I mean, in reality, maybe 10 years time, maybe I will be able to save up enough to go somewhere in 10 years.

But which is a little bit of a shame. But yeah, it's okay. It'll be we'll just see see what happens.

Yeah, if my fairy god, mother, godfather, whatever sprinkled some dust and transformed my life. Yeah, maybe. I haven't even thought about it, you know, traveling around this country, staying in dog friendly hotels, and just doing like a a tour.

I've got a thing about tours at the moment. So doing a tour of England, visiting hotels that allow dogs, and then just going around the area and just doing a podcast every day about the trip and about the hotel and about the town and things like that. And just travel around UK and like, you know, go to Scotland, go to Wales.

And then look at where else I can travel with Vinnie. I don't know if I'm allowed to take him to the Isle of Man or the Isle of Wight or you know, I'm not sure quite how it would work. I mean, I realized I was going to move somewhere.

Then I could take him, I could provide, you know, filled all the paperwork in and did all the proper jabs and all that stuff. I could, he'd be put into a crate and he'd come with me. But that would just be, just be awful for him.

And I don't know, I suppose if I was emigrating or immigrating, whatever it's called, to another country, which I don't plan on doing. I like the idea of living part of the year, and you're all just traveling around, but still living in this country, but traveling around. And this being my base.

Because this is, you know, I don't, this is what I know. This is what I was born in this country. I know my way around this country in a weird way.

You know, I know, I just know the traditions. I know the etiquette and all the things that make life easier if you know. Because in Thailand, I messed up a few times and I upset a few people.

There is this, I think she was a bar, one of the bar managers in a restaurant. And, or she was a manager, she wasn't a waitress or a waiter. But she was one of those two managers.

And I was talking to both of them. And they both lived together. And she was trying to tell me something.

That turned out what she was trying to tell me is they had a special deal on the ribs. Okay, what I thought she was talking about was the upcoming bikini contest. And admittedly, it might just be because that's what I was thinking about.

Anyway, she's talking about the ribs. She's holding out a picture of the ribs. I'm holding out a picture of the poster for the bikini contest.

So she's pointing to me and the ribs and I'm pointing to her in a bikini contest. And we just seem to lose communication along the way. And she got very angry with me.

It's weird, really, I don't know. I was just I thought that's what she was talking about. When she held up the menu with the ribs, it said special offer.

So yeah, I don't know. It just it didn't make sense to me really. And yeah, miscommunication, I guess it happens all the time.

And then I got deported. So yeah, I would like to go back but I'd like to there's a part of me that like to go back to everywhere that I've been. I'm quite a nostalgic person, I think in some ways.

So I lived in Stratford in East London for a long time in my 20s. And in fact, I moved there before I was 20. I moved there when I was 19.

And then I moved back again when I was 20. I moved away for how long? About eight months, nine months, 10 months, nine months. Then I moved back until 2001.

So yeah, towards 31. So over the years, like when I was in my 30s, and maybe 40s even, I would visit that area and just go down some of the old roads that I used to live in and try and walk down. And most of it's all still the same.

Once you get past the supermarket and the new train station and all the the arena and all the stuff they did for the Olympics in 2012. Once you get out of the you know, all that area. Everything's just the same as it was before.

All the houses all together. It's all just I mean, there might be different people living there, but it's all pretty much the same. At least it was last time I went there.

And it's quite nice. I think that's why I liked going back to my Nan's house, because that's where I lived when I was seven for a year, just over a year. And I could still visit there all the way up to being nearly 40.

I was probably, oh, that's interesting. I'm pretty sure she was still living there when I was at college when I first started college. I might be wrong.

So it was nice to go down because there was this back roads and this underpass, you know, with like a bridge that went over the highway or the motorway. And I used to go and sit on there because it's like a big slope and with these big slabs. And when I was little, I used to climb up there and sit peacefully, very quietly, no one around.

And I did that for decades. And my Nan lived just literally just around the corner from there. So I just, you know, sometimes I'd walk up to the duck pond, heck of a walk.

Other times, I'd just sit there, just reminisce, just enjoy the solitude. Enjoy looking at something that I'd seen since the age of seven. Like no changes.

I don't know now, but I mean, I'm pretty certain if I went up there now. Thing is, I did realize as I got older, doing stuff like that comes across as weird. Now I did it in my, I did it when I was like a little kid.

I did it in my teen years. I did it in my 20s. I also did it in my 30s.

But now I'm in my 50s, hanging around under a bridge. Just seems, you know, like a bit like weird behavior, but it's really not. It's an emotional thing for me.

It's, I don't, I haven't done it for a long time. And I've got no reason to go there now because my Nan's not there. And my Dad lives, still lives in that town.

But I don't, I don't go to that area anymore. That part of the place that my Nan lived. But I might be weird.

I might call the police. What are you doing? I'm sitting here. Why? Because I've always sat here.

It's my spot. Because you know, they can't change it. Unless they, I suppose they could reinforce it.

But it's been there forever. You know, it's been there for a long time, like 40, 50 years. I don't know how, yeah, I don't know how long it's been there.

Over 50 years, that bridge. And I'm pretty sure I wrote on it. I scraped something on it.

I remember once, I think I was in my 30s. And I was going to go and do my normal thing where I'd go up and just sit there. But someone else was sitting up there.

And I thought it's not fair. And then I thought, I'll just walk off, sit up the other side. But it wasn't the same.

I couldn't sit up the other side or the other end. It was just I had to go up and be on a specific patch, right at the top, as you were facing. So if you were standing in the road, right, so if you're going down the road, there's a field, I'm trying to give you a description, but it doesn't really work if you don't know where it is.

But there's a field on the left that had horses, just a little kind of field thing. And then this road led to loads of fields like proper fields. So you go under the underpass.

On the left hand side, that was one part of the underpass with these big slabs that led up to the top. On the right hand side was another one. So if you turned and looked at the right hand side one, then climb up to the top and go to the right on the corner on the left.

That's where I used to sit. That was my place. So yeah, what was it in the middle? Wow.

I can't. How can I forget something as important as that? What was the question, Sarah? Oh, Thailand. That's it.

And I'd like to, I'd like to. But reality? Yeah, you know what I mean? Yeah, not sure. I really, really don't know if it's any kind of possibility to go anywhere, really.

But I would like, I'd love to be able to get away. If for no other reason, as I said, just to have something to talk about. I mean, I don't struggle to have to find things to talk about.

I'm a proper chatterbox, I guess. But it'd be yeah, I think something like getting on a ferry, going on a cruise. That would be really cool because then that whole experience is the whole thing is an experience, isn't it? Being on a plane.

I mean, I talked about that at the time. But I think the, it opened more stuff. And I'd be probably communicating with some people, because in Thailand, I had very little communication.

I spoke to hardly anybody that spoke English. And the people that spoke Thai, it was not a, it was a very limited conversation. So if I was on a cruise, I probably would end up meeting or talking to someone that I had a nice conversation with.

And then I can regurgitate that conversation to you via my podcast, and then change it drastically, and make it into a completely different conversation, which I could do anyway. So why go on a cruise, I can just make it up. Damn.

So who's next? Kate. I noticed that you say where your listeners are listening from. I do Kate's voice.

I noticed that you say where your listeners are listening from. Do you ever notice someone stops, but then a new person pops up elsewhere? Or are the numbers moving too much to keep track? I ask because I am from and I'm pretty sure I'm your only, or you have very few listeners from here. What is Chris? Chris? Chris? Chris, you knew that I wouldn't be able to pronounce that, didn't you?

Are you really from there, Kate? Or are you just putting that on there because you knew that I'd absolutely destroy the name? Not on purpose, but I just can't say it.

Chris Pamsis. That's what I'm seeing in front of me. And I bet it's not pronounced like that, is it? And I recently traveled to small towns in Spain and London.

So is Chris Pamsis in Spain? I know it's not in London. Unless it's the name of a house. And so you may have had an additional listener in Palais de Ré, for example, but the Chris Pamsis person dropped off your radar.

I hope that I'm making sense. You actually are not making any sense at all. So please never ask another question.

Now you are making sense. I don't get that. I suppose in a way, I do get specific stuff.

But I'll give you an example. So today's stats yesterday. So go to today's stats.

When were you using? When were you in? Okay, let me have a look. So today. Okay, I'm going to go this last 30 days.

Okay, so that's probably easier. So where is quince man Smith Smith? Is it in Spain? Because I'm not sure which country to look for. And quince man Smith, Canary Islands, Puro de Rosario.

How am I supposed to know where? Is it in America? Maybe? Canada? quince man Smith quen. I'm sure there was a quen something in the United States region. quen.

I mean, it's anything starting with a q is quite an unusual name, isn't it? quentin quince when quen I can't find it. Right in answer to your question is probably probably if he was moving around, it come up as different places. So for example, I think California is a top one in the United States.

And then out of those Huntington Beach for the last 30 days, let's look for the whole year, shall we? For the last 12 months. So for the last 12 months, California always comes up top. And Los Angeles is the number one.

Then Napa, then Mountain View. And then San Jose, Woodland, Elk Grove. I'm just looking if it's Quentin's is on there.

So last 12 months, what about last seven days? California again, so it's still there. Santa Clara, Huntington Beach, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, it's not all. In fact, Mountain View is way down.

And Elk Grove, San Jose. But it's still on there. But if you go for last last month, let's have a look last month.

California again. And yep, Huntington Beach, San Jose, Woodland, Mountain View. So it's kind of still the same ones over like a 12 month period.

A one month period and a seven day period is kind of they're all within the top like five or 10. In America, that is. I've got an idea if I know what I'll do.

If I just if I copy it, quantum piece of a copy that and put it into where is is is in Canada. Kings County, Brunswick. Okay, so Canada, let's have a look then.

So that's we can do that. That's a doable thing. Canada, let's have a look.

Which is number three on the list. And it's a British Columbia, New Brunswick, New Brunswick, New Brunswick. New Brunswick.

Oh, yep. New Brunswick. Yep.

So the app is the only thing I've got coming up under New Brunswick. Now, I don't think the they're not always greatly precise. The reason I say that is because I've had that in the past where I've been online.

And it's told me that I'm living in a different part of country. D app, D, i, e, p, p, e. D, i, e, p, p, e. So let's have a look. New Brunswick, Canada.

I think it might be Quinn, Quinn, quiz, PAMs, Quinn piece. Quinn, quiz, PAMs. It's a very small community with 14 people.

The town is typical Redis residency. It's 14 miles long. And there's there's a small Korean community in the town.

And the population of always 17,000. And okay. It's deep, deep.

Nope, I can't. So it's in Canada. New Brunswick, St. John's City.

Near Salt Lake City. No, the Kennebecassis River and Ritchie Lake. That's a good name, isn't it? What's your name? Ritchie.

Ritchie what? Ritchie Lake. That's my name. Quiz, quiz, PAMsis.

Okay, so this is not really giving me much information. But I know a little bit more now than I used to know. So yeah, thanks for that.

And deep. Okay, let's have a look what deep says. It's an English channel, the mouth of the River Arques.

Really? Runs to New Haven in England. What? Location is in Canada though. France, it's in France.

I'm confused now. So according to the internet, quiz PAMsis is in Canada. Yeah, Palais de Rue, Palais de Rue.

Palais de Rue. Did I have that come up there? No. Palais de Rue.

Let me just check this because I'll go back to France. We're not back to France, but have a look at France. Palais de Rue.

Where's that? Palais de Rue. Sorry, Palais de Rue or de Rye. Let's have a look where that is.

Palais de Rye. Okay, that's not what I wanted. Just Palais de Rye.

It's in Palace. Oh, Palace. But where is it though? Why is Wikipedia not coming up? You'd think it would, wouldn't you? I'm not being funny, but you'd think it would.

Wikipedia, where's Wikipedia when you actually need it? It doesn't say where it is. It's in France, but it doesn't say what part of France. I'm going to have to go through every single place in France.

So, Lille de France. Palais, nope. Provence, Palais.

Holtz de France, nope. Auvergne, no. Nouvelle-Artoisne or Twain, nope.

Central Val-de-l'Or. Poix-sur-Cisse, nope. Pays-de-la-Loire, nope.

Occitanie, nope. Brittany and Grand Est. So what it might have done is just picked up roughly where he was.

Don't get a huge amount of people listening. I mean, this is this for the whole. So if I go, that's the last month.

That's why I apply me. So last month, France, okay. Lille de France, Paris, Eau-de-Poudre.

Okay. It got me interested to want to find it now. I kind of got that in my head.

I tell you what I've got in my head. This is really, if anyone knows the answer to this question, I know it's supposed to be me answering questions, not asking them, but there was this song in the 90s and it was the early 90s and it was about a dinosaur and it wasn't Walk the Dinosaur. It wasn't that one, which is very famous.

I walk the dinosaur. That one wasn't that. It had a famous, either famous actress or a famous model, female model in the song, like either talking or singing something like that.

Part of the song is I like the song a lot, but I cannot find it anywhere. And it's really bugging me because I can't seem to, I can't remember how it goes. If I could remember how it goes, that'd make it easier.

But I can't remember how it went. But I remember that I liked it. And I started to revisit the 90s a bit, music wise, because, you know, for nostalgia, I generally stick to the 80s and not the late 80s.

They weren't, I didn't enjoy the late 80s as much because a lot of stock, Aiken and Waterman and some of their stuff was good, but it was a little bit too much at the time. But then I did like some of the stuff like, you know, Terrence Trent Darby and things like that. Tracy Chapman.

But anyway, I'm trying to find out what that song is, which does bring me to the next question. Top five songs each year from 1980 to 1985. Top five songs each year from 1980 to 85.

Blimey. And how do I even find, Vinnie, stop screaming, please, mate. How do I even find out what the top, top hits, top hits, because it's got to be in the UK, top hits, 1985.

UK, so I'm going to do, I'm going to have to look it up, see the list, and then I can choose. Because if you used to ask, if you say, oh, what's the top, what's my favourite songs from the 80s, I can list a few off. But I'm going to have to write list of top UK top singles 1985.

80 to 85. Wow. Okay.

So go back. 1980. Right, if we go I'm going to go to 1980.

So you've got another brick and a wall. Coward of the country atomic. Okay, Blondie.

I'm parking that one. Working my way back to you. Call me Blondie again.

That's going to park that one. Xanadu like that. The winner takes it all.

Feels like I'm in love. Blimey. There wasn't that many number one.

These were number one hits. I'm just going to stick with the number one hits. Okay.

Which isn't really fair, because there's probably loads of songs that didn't get to number one that were possibly more my favourite. So if I'm going to stick to the number one hits. Okay, so I would say 1980.

The police don't stand so close to me. I love that song. Absolutely no sorry.

Blondie wins the tide is high. Don't stand so close to me is number two. But the tide is high was by far my favourite song that Blondie did.

And I'm not saying it's my favourite song of 1980 because I'd have to look through the whole year. But the tide is high. So I'm going to go for that one as far as I'm just going to focus on number ones in the UK.

Otherwise, it just wouldn't be practically impossible. To go through all the different songs. So numb.

This is 1981. Okay, and straight up, straight up. And there's no one quite like grandma.

Oh, dear. So imagine and then woman, both number ones after each other. I love both of those songs.

And imagine is one of my favourite songs, just full stop. But then jealous guy by Roxy music. Such a great song.

So much better than John Lennon's version, I think. He is almost like Roxy music was made to sing that song. I don't know how to explain it better than that.

It's almost if you think try and think of someone else singing somewhere over the rainbow other than Dorothy. Even though probably millions of people could do it. It just sounds right her doing it doesn't it? Or someone else singing imagine a jealous guy, John Lennon's song.

Great. I can't imagine anyone else singing imagine though. I can't imagine someone singing imagine.

Oh, this is going to get hard now though. This is becoming a hard race. So we're now basically in my most favourite period of music as a child.

Like early 80s. I love all of these songs. Shut up your face.

What's the matter you Hey, love that song. And but that's not going to be my favourite song. This whole house shaking Stevens.

I was a big fan of shaking Steve making your mind up by Bucks Fizz. They won the Eurovision Song Contest. Love that song.

Stand and deliver Adam and the ants. I tell you what's ridiculous. I know every single one of these songs.

But every single one of them I know. And I bet I couldn't do that with a lot of the other years. Ghost town by the specials another great sound song.

One day in your life Michael Jackson being with you. I don't care what they say about me. So that was Smokey Robinson walking on the beach.

Ghost town by the specials. I told you the other day I had dinner with him. Green door by shaking Stevens.

I love shaking Stevens. Japanese boy by Anika. Tainted love soft sell.

Prince Charming, Adam and the ants. This is just not fair. It's too many.

It's my party. It's my party. Every little thing he does is magic.

The police under pressure. Don't you want me by Human League. There's one I don't.

I probably do know it. I just don't recognize the name of it. It's Julio Iglesias begin the big win.

Wow. How can I choose from these songs? I think I have to go with Imagine. Because it was I mean, because at the time that was a very poignant kind of period as well with John Lennon and him being number one with Imagine and then Woman.

I don't even know if I'd even heard those songs before. I probably had but and it seems a little bit disrespectful to it's weird, isn't it? I don't know just to sort of like compare shut up your face with Imagine. It's almost like the country had had enough of seriousness for a while.

So the whole beginning of January all the way to the 14th, no to the 21st of February, two serious songs by John Lennon, who was wasn't with us anymore. And then what's the matter you? Hey, got the no respect, shut up your face. We needed that.

We needed that for three weeks, number one. And then they had to bring Jealous Guy out, which was again another reminder of John Lennon. It's a brilliant song.

But then we needed another break from that. This whole house from shaking Stevens. So that was 123 weeks.

And then we have making your mind up from Bucks Fizz, which is a very Okay, I'm going to choose based upon based upon the upliftingness of it. Now, these aren't my favorite songs. I imagine is one of my favorite songs ever.

But we're just going by year, not by all time. I would probably say bearing in mind my age, being at this time, I'd be 10 years old. 10.

So 1981. In April, I was still 10 years old. Making your mind up probably would be my number one song for that year.

I mean, I also loved it definitely wouldn't be under pressure. Yeah, it would probably be either Prince Charming, Adam and the Ants, Stand and Deliver, Adam and the Ants. Because I used to sing those as well.

When I was at school, I used to walk around the thing, the park, well not the park, the field where from the school where the school was. I used to walk around there and sing the lyrics. I did like being with you by Smokey Robinson as well.

Because I could see I could sing at that pitch. Right, I'm gonna choose making your mind up. Because it was a really, really great song.

We won the Eurovision, well, they won the Eurovision Song Contest for England. Or is it Britain? Or is it UK? I don't know whichever place it is. And it was a big time.

It was. Yeah, I think that was during wasn't the Royal Wedding that year as well. And then 1982.

Okay, here we go. The Human League, Don't You Want Me? See, these songs are great. But the Land of Maple Leaf.

Nope. Oh, Julie. Nope.

I loved it. But it's not going to be I wouldn't have that as my number one for 1982. A Town Called Malice.

I do like that song. Craftwork. She's a model and she's looking good.

The Lion Sleeps Tonight. Seven Tears. I don't remember that one.

My Camera Never Lies. Buck's Fizz. Ebony and Ivory.

I think we've got a winner there. But let's come back to it. A Little Peace by Nicole.

House of Fun Madness. Goody Two Shoes Adamance. I've Never Been To Me.

Happy Talk. Happy Talking, Talking, Happy Talk. Fame.

Come On Eileen. Eye of the Tiger. Past Adichie.

Oh, I like that. Beat Surrender. Say Do You Really Want To Hurt Me? Culture Club.

That's a hard one. Because very little competed with Culture Club when they arrived. They were just so massive.

But out of that year, I would have to say my two of my favorite songs, Past Adichie, Musical Youth and Ebony and Ivory. Now, I used to sing Ebony and Ivory myself. And I do both voices.

They both sounded the same, but you know, it was an attempt. And I thought it was my favorite, my favorite song I'd ever heard about a piano. I didn't really know why they were talking about piano keys.

But you know, it's anyway, I still liked it. However, Past Adichie by Musical Youth. Musical Youth, that album was one of the first albums I ever bought, I ever purchased with my own money.

Or money I've got for Christmas or birthday or whatever. So I'm good. It's a hard one.

There's so many good songs. Also Save Your Love, save your love, my darling, save your love. And Past Adichie, Culture Club, Do You Really Want To Hurt Me? Oh, I'm gonna still stick.

Like Kraftwerk, I'll be honest, I prefer probably most of the songs above Past Adichie. Okay, but I'm trying to aim this at what I liked most in that year at the time, not what I like now. Does that make sense? So I'm going to probably go Past Adichie would possibly be my favorite song of that year.

Fame was also up there as well. But then Ebony and Ivory, I love that song. I'm going to go Ebony and Ivory.

I am. But Kraftwerk, The Model. Great, great song, which was as I wouldn't listen to Ebony and Ivory now, really, generally, but I could listen to Kraftwerk, The Model.

I could listen to a little bit of Madness. I could listen to Culture Club. So there's certain things I could listen to now.

I probably wouldn't want to listen to Musical Youth. So there's certain things I could listen to now, but at the time, I loved them. So I'm gonna say for that year, 1982.

I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say, 1983. Yeah, Ebony and Ivory. Ebony and Ivory.

Yeah. So next year is 1983. 1983.

What have we got? Save Your Love. So that's still from last year. You Can't Hurry Love.

Great song. Down Under. This.

Okay. I'm gonna make the rules. I'm gonna have to have a tie.

Now, this is another year that was just fantastic. 81, 82, 83. Just brilliant years for music.

From a nostalgic perspective, I mean. Every year is a brilliant year for music. And these, these kind of were my growing up songs.

So Too Shy by Kajagoogoo, Billie Jean, Michael Jackson, Is There Something I Should Know, Duran Duran, Let's Dance, David Bowie. I've never that bothered really into any of his songs, to be honest. And I did like the one he did at Christmas with what's his name but True, Spandau Ballet.

Oh, and also the Spaceman. I did like that stuff. But I was never.

Yeah, I was never like a big David Bowie fan. But he I did. I like some of the early stuff he did.

You know, Planet Earth, Demi, Jatom, that one. I was like, wow, it's just so unlike anything else that I'd heard before. True by Spandau Ballet, like great movie, songwriter.

Candy Girl, new edition. Every Breath You Take, The Police, Baby Jane, Rod Stewart. Again, I just like, what's with his voice? I couldn't get it.

It's like, how did they? How does he manage to be ill every time he records a song? That's what I was why I used to think of another kid. He's like, he's got bronchitis every time he sings a song. But that's just how he sounds.

I thought about someone sounding like that. Paul Young. I think this is the this is the year that Paul Young arrived.

Wherever I lay my hat, that's my home. This is impossible. This is such an impossible task that you've given me.

Seriously, hope. Why have you done this to me? It is there's too many songs to choose from. Just these are just the number one songs.

If I look back at the number two, the number five, the number 10. Wow, maybe that's what I'll do. Maybe I'll do that on a future recording.

Give It Up, KC and the Sunshine Band, Red Red Wine, UB40. These are songs I still love today. And I absolutely adored Come A Chameleon, Culture Club, Uptown Girl, Billy Joel, Only You, The Flying Bickets.

I literally love every single song that was number one in that year. But if I had to, which I do, well, don't have to, but if I'm going to, I'm not going to go on what I live love still today. I tell you what, I can base this quite easily.

I'm going to base it on a simple thing. I was in hospital having my appendix out in this year. So probably April time maybe in 1983.

And the hospital radio person or people came around, asked us, because I was in the children's ward, they asked us what we would like to hear. And I asked for two songs. So I'm going to give you those two songs.

It's going to be a draw or tie, okay? Down Under by Men at Work and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler. The two songs that I love, they're the ones that I wanted to hear. So I'm going to choose those two.

Not just one. Nineteen Eighty-Four. Again, this is going to be hard.

The Flying Pickets, okay, she passed it. Pipes of Peace. Oh man, I love that song.

Relax, no. I liked it, but it wouldn't be my favourite song. Ninety-Nine Red Balloons, no.

And Lionel Richie, Hello. I love the song, but no. The Reflex, Lex, Lex, Lex, Lex, Lex.

Duran Duran, no. Wake Me Up Before You Go, Go. Wham, no.

Two, I do like all these songs, but it wasn't my favourite of the year. Or was it? Two Tribes, no. So Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

Do They Know It's Christmas? Band-Aid, The Power of Love, Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Now, that's the song I liked most of what they did. The Power of Love, such a great song.

Freedom by Wham. I Should've Known Better by Jim Diamond. I Just Called To Say I Love You, Stevie Wonder.

Careless Whisper, George Michael. Right, again, if we go back to that time, which song did I like most out of that year, when I was that age? It's going to be a choice between Pipes of Peace, Hello, Wake Me Up Before You Go, Go, I Just Called To Say I Love You, and Careless Whisper. And probably I Just Called To Say I Love You.

Maybe the Pipes of Peace. Okay, I'm going to go with I Just Called To Say I Love You. Okay, I'm going to stick with that, but I'm not sure because I also loved Hello.

Hello. I mean, Two Tribes was number one for nine weeks. Relax was number one for five weeks.

And then, yeah, so that had the most number ones was Two Tribes. And then Lionel Richie had six weeks. I Just Called To Say I Love You by Stevie Wonder, six weeks.

Yeah, I'm going to go with I Just Called To Say I Love You, Stevie Wonder. Oh, I do love Hello. I did the time I did.

Because that was people using it, like in a romantic way when they'd make phone calls. So that was a two of the things that you could do. You phone someone up, and you could say to them, I Just Called To Say I Love You.

And hope that it's the person that you're calling answers the phone. Or just literally, Hello. Again, it's not quite as romantic because they just Hello's in them really.

I'll probably go with Hello. No, I'm going to go with Stevie Wonder. I Just Called To Say I Love You.

So that's 1984. Last one, 1985. I already know which one I'm going to choose.

I already know. Where is it? Right. I already know, before I even get to this page, it's going to be there must be an angel playing with my heart, Eurythmics.

Eurythmics. Now, you might think, how do you know before you get there? I don't know. I just know.

There's lots of good songs. I Want To Know What Love Is, Foreigner. I Know Him So Well, Elaine Page and Barbara Dickinson.

You Spin Me Right Round, Easy Lover. Easy Lover. I love that song.

Phil Bailey and Phil Collins. They should have done a duet. They did do a duet, but I think they should have done a duet like proper.

But then that's a lot to take on, isn't it? I mean, Phil Collins had his band and then he had his own solo career. But they sounded so good together. Then we had We Are The World, which was another great song.

Move Closer, Phyllis Nelson, 19. I did like it. I didn't, I mean, it was all right, but I just didn't.

I didn't like the video, if I'm honest. But that was number one for five weeks. You'll Never Walk Alone, Frankie.

Frankie. I love that song. Into The Groove, Madonna.

So that was Madonna's first number one hit. So I did like that. I was at number one for four weeks.

I Got You Babe, UB40 and Chrissy Hyde, Dancing In The Street, David Bowie and Mick Jugger. Four weeks that was at number one. Four weeks.

People could see that video and they still had it at number one. They still went out and bought the record. If I Was by Major, I liked that as a good song.

The Power Of Love, Jennifer Rush. The Power Of Love. No, it's The Power Of Love.

Yeah. A Good Heart, Fergal Sharkey. I'm Your Man, Wham! Saving All My Love For You.

So that was Whitney Houston's first number one. So this is 1985. Wow, when Whitney Houston arrived on the scene.

Now, ordinarily, I would have chosen that song out of everything else. Big Whitney Houston fan me. And I remember seeing her on TV and just being blown away, not just by her voice, but just I fell in love with her.

You know, I was what, 14 at the time? No, I'd have been 15. And I wanted to marry her. But I still want to go back to There Must Be An Angel Playing With My Heart by the Eurythmics.

It was only number one for one week, which I don't understand because I personally, and it was number one, 27th of July, 1985. I personally think it's one of the greatest songs ever produced by anyone ever. But vocally, Annie Lennox is like, wow.

It's such a great song. And even now, when I want to hear it, it's still a great song. I loved it then.

And I love it now. But I'm not basing it on loving it now. I'm basing it on loving it then.

And it really, yeah, had an effect on me back then. So it's definitely my favorite song of the year. But I would say, you know, after that, Saving All My Love For You would be like number two, but we're not doing number twos.

Just number ones in this toilet. So yeah, blimey, I answered that question, I think. Oh, Megan asks, Do you prefer sunrise or sunset? It's a very difficult question.

So I'm not sure what I would pick. There's something magical about being up and awake in time to watch the sunrise. And it always seems so peaceful.

But I'm not an early bird. So I guess for me finding a special place to watch the sunset would be my fave. And I have some gorgeous memories of sunsets I've seen.

So I'd have to go with sunsets. Would love to know yours and why. Sending love to you and Vinnie.

Well, thank you, Megan. I forgot to do it in your voice. Okay.

Do you prefer sunrise or sunsets? It's a very difficult question. Okay, I'll stop. I do like a nice sunset.

I do. I do. I do.

I do. I think as far as like looking out on the beach, you know, being on a beach watching the sun setting. That is, if I was going to watch it, I prefer sunrise.

Overall, I like it when it gets light. I don't, I'm not a big fan of the dark. So I don't really, I don't like it when it gets dark.

I accept it. But you know, it's like if I had to choose between it getting light or getting dark, I'd go for it getting light. I like it in the morning when I see it's light outside.

That's just, I look forward to waking up in the morning. It's weird, but hey, it's true. Not every morning, but you know, I just, it's, I don't know, just like I want to check the stats and I want to see if anyone's listening to my recordings and stuff like that.

So but from a visual perspective, I would probably say that I prefer the to see a sunrise is visually, it's quite hard to sort of look at the sun. But as the sun's going down, as a point where you can watch it without, you know, getting eye strain or anything. So and that whole kind of that light that shines across the sky, as the sun's going down, and then you got the moon, and you've it all the colors connected to the sunset.

Now, I haven't really watched sunrise too often. I've gone out when it's sunny, or when you know, it's light. But I do, I mean, I suppose, in a way, I think sunsets more beautiful, perhaps visually.

But I prefer sunrise as far as because I like it to be light. But I probably go with sunset as in a visual display, I guess. It is and it can be quite romantic, can't it? I think if you're with someone, or just nice, if you're just sitting on a beach or sitting on a promenade, or walking along eating some chips, or, or maybe you've had a night out and you're just watching the sun go down.

Mind you, if you're having a night out and you're watching the sun go down, then you're probably going to bed early, aren't you? But I don't know. Yeah, I think it's quite nice, the sunset. Yeah, especially, I suppose it depends where I am.

If it's at a beach, I like watching it. But then sunrise is nice at a beach as well. It's just the reverse, isn't it really? Because when the sun goes into the sea, and goes and it comes back out to sea a few hours later.

So that's also beautiful. And by the sun and the moon, the stars, I have always just found them to be just extraordinarily beautiful. It's really, I haven't had many opportunities for a while to really get to see the stars in all of their glory.

But when I do, I'm still astonished. I think the last time I got a real, a proper sense of the stars was in Norwich, or Norfolk area. I was on a Buddhist retreat around 1980, no, 1980, about 2005.

And it was in the middle of the country, but there literally was nothing, no streetlights, no lights, not a single thing for miles, no motorways. There was roads, but there was no cars around. And the stars, I mean, it wasn't just stars, it was like, well, it was stars actually, yeah, but it just seemed to be more of them.

And, yeah, it's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. So I guess visually, probably sunset.

But I prefer sunrise because it's getting lighter. I love, I really, really love it. If when I used to sleep, I used to be awake all night and sleep during the day.

That was how I lived my life for years. And through choice, I just preferred it. I could get more done.

As far as making podcasts and stuff, you know, without any background sound. And I loved it, especially in spring, seeing how light it got earlier and earlier and earlier every morning. The birds would be singing earlier every day.

And there's something special about that. And it began, you know, it began darker later, without going through the opposite. So it's nine minutes past six in the evening, and it's starting to get dark outside.

But it's okay. That's just, that's just the way it is. But I do, yeah, sunset, I'm gonna go.

So I prefer sunrise, but visually, I'd go for sunset. Does that make sense? So basically, I've chosen both. Is that a cop out? Is that a cop out? Probably is.

Apologies. Anyway, I do believe, I do believe that is all of the questions for today's or for this week's Q&A Friday. So I'd just like to say thank you to everybody that asked the question.

So we have, I've just come out of the page. Let's open the page again. So thank you to Sarah, Kate, Karen, Hope, and Megan.

So thank you all of you for your questions. And thank you everyone for listening. And I will speak to you very soon.

So take care. Remember to be kind to yourself because you do deserve to be happy. And be gentle with yourself.

You deserve to feel safe. Lots of love. Bye.
