Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello. Welcome to, Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name is Jason Newland.

Please only listen when you can close your eyes. La la la la la la la la la. Ooh, ooh.

I haven't heard much about Greenland lately, have we? Have you noticed that? I've not been hearing much about Greenland. Very popular subject a couple of weeks back. Hardly heard about it, in fact I've not heard about it at all.

It's like, it doesn't exist anymore. What's going on? I don't know. Hello everybody.

So, welcome to Tuesday the 10th of February 2026. It is 12 minutes past 12pm in the afternoon. And Vinnie is on the floor chomping on a bean.

And then, I've just heard the neighbours in the garden starting their little engine of... I think in the same way that Vinnie gets stimulated when I start recording. Because he was on a settee until literally I press record. And the same with some of the neighbours.

They suddenly wake up and pull each other's cords on their back so they can do lots of talking. La la la la la la la. Shout talking, I like to call it.

Cords on their back. It's a little bit like that. I do, I kind of like to think that you hear them talking, they're really excited.

And then just flop down, waiting to be pulled again. Anyway, hello. Hello, and welcome to this very very boring recording.

Wow, it's a proper, weather wise, it's not the brightest day in the world. It really ain't. I was out there earlier, about just after nine.

It was about three hours ago. And it's drizzling, it wasn't really raining but it was just, it felt like it was raining. Do you know? It just, it's just eugh.

And I can see why some people don't like to live in this country at this time of the year. Because it is, it's not appealing. I don't look out my window and think, way, can I go out there now? Can't wait.

It's just eugh. It looks a bit better now, a little bit brighter. It's very much January weather in February.

And I was thinking to myself. I hope that isn't weed dripping down my leg, when I was in the park. Then I thought, if we do get snow next week, which is being mentioned in the news, then everything will be brighter.

Everything will look cleaner. When I lived in London, I lived in London for the whole of my twenties. And the only time that London looked clean was when it snowed.

It's a very dirty place. It's just very dirty, it's just, I mean, you know, millions of cars and rubbish on the streets and stuff. I mean, it's, it's not the, there's some nice parts.

I guess the rich parts, maybe, but it's still eugh, a bit grubby, you know, it was when I lived there. I'm sure it's lovely now. Anyway, when it snowed, it's wonderful.

Even all the rubbish bags on the streets got covered up with snow and even they looked romantic. I wanted to cuddle them. So, I'm just hoping that Vinnie doesn't bark because there's a, like a new dog, locally.

And what they will try and do is get the dog to bark. That's the kind of, that's their, the way they think. So, they kind of, they'll get him to bark lots and lots and lots and lots and then they're like, he's talking to me, he's talking.

And the rest of the neighbourhood like, will you shut that dog up. I mean, I'll try and keep Vinnie quiet as much as possible. Because it's not fair on, you know, one dog starts and then another dog starts.

And before you know it, it's like six dogs all barking at each other in the local road. And he does. If there's a dog starts barking in the distance, he will start.

And then he starts probably another one off. And quite often it's the cats that are starting the dogs off. Because the cats are just teasers, aren't they? Teasing the dogs.

Standing on a fence, knowing the dog can't get to them. And sticking their tongue out. Sticking their bum in the air.

Anyway, so yeah. It's Tuesday today. So I'm going to get my recycling sorted at some point later.

Also put a bag of rubbish outside. And not much else to do really. I mean, I've still got three hypnosis recordings to edit today.

But part of the reason I'm doing the Let Me Bore You To Sleep early is because I get so tired. By the evening I'm a bit too tired to do a Let Me Bore You To Sleep. I'll do them anyway, but I'm just thinking.

What am I thinking? What am I thinking? Just wondering what's in the news. What's in the news, man? Oh! I just had a flashback to the boxing. With Gerald Miller and his wig flapping around.

Even if you don't like boxing, just check that out. Baby Miller. Or just put in boxer's wig flapping.

In Google or YouTube and you'll find it. And it's like a comedy sketch. Now it's much funny if you don't know it's about to happen.

Admittedly. But even if you do know it's about to happen, it's still funny. Because I don't think it's ever been seen before in the ring.

I've seen people with combers. In the ring like in the 60s or 70s. And there was some boxers that had.

Pretty much bald, but they were combing their hair forward. And then they get punched in the hair would kind of go back like that. But it wasn't a wig.

It was just that they. They just weren't accepting that they were bald. Which is fine.

It's up to them. I'm not in a position to judge anybody. When it comes to hair loss.

No. Not hair loss. Tasman outweight.

55 reveals facelift. Well, that's uninteresting. I don't know why that's.

Why is that in the news? I don't know. Raising boys, not. A vampire has been dug up in Croatia.

The problem is. It's a video, so that's no good for me. Let's see if I can get a little bit more information.

The face of a vampire whose remains were posthumously destroyed to prevent them arising from the dead can be seen for the first time in more than 400 years. When you think about it, I can see now why some people thought that. That's.

Certain people were. Vampires or. Creatures or monsters and stuff just.

Based on some of the people that. Are on the planet today. You can see how people get superstitious and think.

No, we don't want that person rising up again. Let's have a look. I'm trying to think.

Is there. I want to find out. I know chat GPT that will tell me what's in the news.

Right. I'm going to get chat GPT to look for some. This is funny.

I asked for 50. Humorous stories. I can't find 50 distinctively funny news stories from today, February 10th, 2026.

Because few outlets actually publish that many humor themed pieces on any given day. Really. I kind of we all know that don't we.

But I can share the most recent funny and offbeat news items available right now from trustworthy sources around the world. Here are several current ones with short summaries. Okay, cool.

So. I'll just have a look for it. What you could do actually as a listener.

If you wanna. You could send me in some funny stories. And I could read them out.

Any kind of just. I like absurd stuff. But I also like nice stuff as well.

So like a good news story. Because the newspapers that the problem with going through like a newspaper app. Is I've got a sift through.

So much manure. To actually get to anything that's mildly. Really.

Could you make any more noise in the garden. So I. Have to sift through it all. But it means in the process I'm reading that stuff.

And I don't wanna read it. I don't. I mean sometimes it could be a serious news story.

And I can kind of find. My version of a funny side to it. But.

So I kind of prefer not to. If you need to start barking in by the way. Someone's like.

Do people read. You know dogs have better hearing than humans. I better smell better hearing.

I don't know about eyesight. But generally the hearing a bit is better isn't it. So if a dog's ignoring you it's ignoring you.

Saying it louder is not gonna make that much difference. You kind of have to go and get it. Because it's just it's gonna ignore you.

Saying that I do. I don't take that advice myself. Because.

I'm. Me. Recently funny offbeat news highlights.

A six-year-old accidentally insulted her mum. With a hilarious misspelled birthday card. That went viral online.

So let's have a look at this. See what it says. It's your birthday.

Break the rules. Happy. Bitch day.

Brilliant. So it's basically instead of birthday. She spelled it B-I-T-C-H.

B-I-T-C-H-D-A-R. A Y rather. Yeah so.

It's easy to do isn't it. I mean. To be fair.

I think the. It might look like a T. And actually there's three T's. So yeah.

You can see how I get muddled up. Couldn't you. Because B-I-R-T.

So if you miss out the B-R. If you miss out the R. It is. Yeah.

Anyway so I've read that. What's the next one. Let's have a look.

Let's have a look. Let's not have a go at a six year old. A bride's mother.

Pulled a cheeky. Twenty five year old wedding prank. Involving adult.

Decision dice. Amusing guests in Santorini. What's an adult.

Decision dice. What is that anyone. It was twenty five years in the making.

Apparently. Blimey. A mother played a hilarious.

Risk. Risk who. Prank.

On her daughter. On her wedding day. In what.

You know it's going to be. What's that advert doing there. Go away adverts.

In what Fiona Darley. Thirty described says. The single most mortifying moment of her life.

Her mother. Wait there's still more to come. If you're only thirty.

Caroline sixty two pulled a prank. Right. They're going on about the wedding ceremony.

Just what's. Right. Are they going to tell me what actually happened.

She. They've actually. It's a five year old set of decision dice.

Which are made for older people. Okay. Some decision dice features suggestive actions.

On each side. And are rolled in a flirtatious game. Between partners.

To playfully decide. Intimate. Activities.

That is a bit of a rude. Rude. I've not really done it much justice have I. It's.

That is a funny present isn't it. I've never heard of it though. I mean.

I mean there are ruder things she could have given her. Aren't there. It's something that you know.

Had the label batteries included. I don't know. Give her two presents.

There's a first present. Oh. Some Duracell batteries lovely.

What would I want them for. Open your second present. A championship football match was twice interrupted.

By a curious squirrel. Invading the pitch. And fans loved it.

Brilliant. So there's a picture. There's a picture of.

A football pitch. And a squirrel. Yeah.

It's probably. I mean it's a nice story but it's. It's limited isn't it.

You know. I don't know. I saw an article.

On the news. Yesterday I think or the day before. And they were talking about.

Oh the red squirrels. They're just gone. There's no more red squirrels left.

And. They were. They were.

Hunting. They were searching. For red squirrels.

And they had cameras out and none turned up. Camera shy maybe. But.

I. And I thought. Well I know where there's red squirrels. There's somewhere I know there are 100% red squirrels.

But I'm not telling them. Because they'll just set up like there will be like a big. Film set.

Trying to film them and everything just leave them alone. I was a championship football match. I suppose that makes it a bit more interesting doesn't it.

I think one of the things that I found quite funny is when I was visiting the zoo. Long long time ago. About 2007 in fact.

And. I was there. It was during the week.

I just maybe 2008. I just started university. Like in September 2007.

This is probably like January 2008. So I'm at the zoo. And there was a school party.

Visiting. And there was this enclosure which was where there was an elephant. So people were feeding the elephant and I was queuing so I wanted to feed an elephant.

But there wasn't a lot of people there really. It was busyish but it wasn't busy busy. But then the.

There was two. Giraffes. It got their own enclosure.

I mean there was only quite a bit of area. And they were being washed. Being hosed down and scrubbed down.

So I'm kind of like I'm watching the elephants. Because I don't get to see elephants in my day to day life. Or giraffes even.

You know. They're not the everyday occurrence. And.

I'm looking at the elephants. I'm looking at the giraffes. But I'm thinking you know what.

While everyone's looking at the giraffes. I'm going to try and get in. And.

Feed an elephant. An apple or whatever it was they were letting people do. And I notice everyone kind of moves away as I'm getting closer to the elephants.

And I'm thinking. Oh good I'm glad I didn't have a bath today. It's working.

But that wasn't the reason. Because I started hearing laughter. And I think oh no.

Don't tell me I forgot to put any trousers on. But that wasn't the reason either. So I look over.

And all these kids. And the teachers. And there's a bunch of people there.

Were watching the giraffes. And one of the giraffes. Was.

Getting romantic. With another giraffe. And the zookeepers.

Could do nothing about it. And. It was really funny.

It was funny the fact that. I guess I mean it's. It's just nature isn't it.

But it's kind of inappropriate. For that to happen in front of a bunch of school kids. But everybody was laughing.

It was very funny. And. That's the whole story really.

An Irish TV presenter. Shared a wry. Reaction to a. To a viral Spice Girls.

Reunion video. Cracking up fans. Okay.

And that's in the sun. That's a bit. A bit.

Vague. Irish TV presenter. Am star Maureen O'Connell.

Left fans howling. After sharing her reaction. To a viral Spice Girls.

Reunion clip. The breakfast show hasn't held back. On sharing her opinions over the.

Ongoing Beckham food. Between the family. I don't follow that.

The Spice Girls. So recently the Beckham's youngest son. Okay.

Boring boring boring. It's. Right.

The limerick lady. Hilarious remarked. In the cruise Beckham.

Clip of Emma. Jerry Mel C. And Victoria singing. Viva forever.

I am the staff in the background. In the back of the kitchen. Now just being like.

Don't look directly at them. They won't notice us. We are getting a free Spice Girls.

Concert. Right. I don't know if I kind of.

Oh. See there's a picture. So she was working on a cruise at.

The time when they were filming the. The Spice Girls. And she was just standing there.

With another person. And they were. Yeah.

This has to be the most filmed. Wedding since Charles and Diana. So going to need you to go ahead.

And release the tapes. We're going to have to see what was. Going on there.

She's still shouting over the fence. At the dog. And.

I just remember on my friend Andre. Not not Andre the ferret. But my my other friend.

Who Andre was named after. We were living in the house together. And there was a dog there.

And. That dog was unruly. Ridiculous.

Honestly is a ridiculous dog. And. And I said to Andre once.

I said why don't you teach him to sit. Because he was really good to him. He was good.

He was quite good with him. He said I don't need to. He already knows how to sit.

That's what I realized. That actually dogs know how to do stuff like that. They don't need us to tell them do they.

See she's doing it again. She did that for like the last two years. Shouting at her other dog.

In the garden. All hours of the night. It's like early hours sometimes four in the morning.

11 at night. And she can't like she doesn't have a volume control. Or he whoever it is.

The thing is someone snapping like. You're not going to go towards that voice are you. You're going to walk you will try and get away from that voice.

I imagine. Maybe it's just me. Maybe.

So. More offbeat and funny current stories. Here are some additional goofy or bizarre headlines from today's offbeat news page.

A man in Poon. That's not a real place is it. Poon.

Went viral for using an Excel sheet to track. Arranged marriage matches. Do people still use Excel sheets.

I don't really know what that means. To track arranged marriage matches. Is that a funny story.

I mean the fact that arranged marriages are still happening. I guess it's quite a funny story but. I mean.

What's next. Can you tell me circumcision still going on as a religious tradition. What.

No way. Is it really. Wow.

Let the kid choose. Let him choose. No boy.

No. If you let someone get to the age of 18. No way they're going to.

Yeah. Chop some of it off. No.

They're going to say no. Always. I don't want it.

No. I want to keep it. I don't.

I don't even want. No. I don't want a knife anywhere near it.

Thanks. Thanks. Anyway.

Yeah. I know there's a party afterwards but. No you're right.

The baby can't even appreciate the party can they. Everyone else is celebrating. That kid's just crying.

Wondering what's going on. Probably looking up at all the parents thinking. I thought you liked me.

Here are some additional goofy or bizarre. Right. So there's nothing came up for that one.

An emu escaped its sanctuary and ran through town. Delighting locals. UPI odd news.

I would love to see an emu running around. When I was in Amsterdam. There was a goose.

Goose. Yeah. But it was massive.

There's a couple of geese and it's running stray. Running in the traffic. Absolutely going to attack people and everything.

It was very funny. So that's coming up UPI. Arizona man Sir Bad Bunny lookalike completes in San Francisco contest.

I saw Bad Bunny and he won all these awards and stuff and I went on to his YouTube channel. I couldn't find any music in English. And maybe I just couldn't didn't look very well but.

It can't all be. Okay. Can you hear that in the background? Say listen.

So they've got a name called. Sounds like Vinnie. They wouldn't get dog called Vinnie.

That'd be wrong. That just be every two seconds. It'd be like.

They're calling me. They want me to go over there. No, it's not you.

It's a different one. But they're saying my name. Yeah, it's a different Vinnie.

It can't be more than one Vinnie surely. Yeah. Right.

There's nothing on that website. It's. When I was younger.

On the news. I don't know you can see everyone that listens to this from all over the world and stuff. When I was younger on the news, there was always well not always but quite often a nice friendly gentle possibly mildly humorous story at the end of the news.

And then the weather. You know, it would be. I don't like a parrot.

A parrot that can say like a dog that can say sausages. Or a parrot that can do a jigsaw puzzle or something like that. Or, you know, someone that's wake woken up and they can and they speak with an Italian accent.

So I'm someone from Britain away from suddenly there. They go in at the end of every sentence. And no one knows why.

And as she has happened. There is someone woke up and I was speaking with a French accent. I'm sure someone.

Had like an injury a brain thing and they could. Speak another language fluently, which makes no sense because I know that would never happen to me. That's why I know that if if it really was possible and I did that it shows it's possible for anyone because I know no languages other than this.

Bonjour, I know a few words. Familiar. Family.

You know, I know that's in the. Was it Mexico? Yeah, Mexico. Yeah, familiar because I watched the Narcos.

And it's in subtitles. A lot of it, isn't it? So I'm watching it and I'm getting to kind of recognize some of the words just from watching Narcos. There's such a good show.

It was worth. It was worth suffering the subtitles. There was no need for the subtitles.

There really wasn't any need for it. It's like, well, we've got our subtitles to make it genuine because they're Mexican and not going to be speaking English. No, we know the Mexican.

They can still speak English though. We don't have to have them. Everyone, you know, 80% of the people on the TV show speaking in a different language.

It just just have to everyone speaking in English. No, because then it's not, you know. No, it's like, yeah, yeah.

But they won't. I mean. This Japan, was it Japan or China or North Korea? I don't know.

Somewhere. They had, yeah, because of all the same money. No, I didn't mean like that.

I think it's Korea. There was a really. Successful zombie movie on a train.

Coyote train or something. And that was with subtitles. Great movie.

But I found it difficult to follow the subtitles because the action was full on. You know, sometimes I find easier to follow when it's just a conversation going on. But when there's loads of running around and stuff like that.

Just dub it. Especially now, you know, now they can actually go through the movie. It costs a little bit of money to do it.

They could go through the movie, not only dub it, but change the mouths. So it looks like they're actually saying the words in English or in German or in France, French, you know, into different languages. They could do that for every single movie now if they wanted to.

So that the mouth actually moves and pronounces things exactly as you're hearing it. And I wonder why, why they're not doing that now. Because every single movie could now be changed.

No subtitles needed anymore. Seriously. It take a while, but, you know, a movie is only an hour and a half, two hours.

So it could, it wouldn't be that difficult. It'd be difficult for me. So I don't know how to do it.

But. They could do that. Especially with like a major, a major movie.

So imagine how much more successful Titanic would have been in. In. France, for example, if it was done in France and it was dubbed.

And the mouth matched the words to speak in and they use the same voices as the actors as well. But just did it in French, you know, talked in French. But with the same.

Voice. So again, Leonardo DiCaprio. Get him, his voice, speak in French.

They can do that now. It's easy. It's easy to do like 30 minutes of talking.

So I'm sure it's pretty easy, you know, as a. Producing a movie editing wise, they could do that. So I'm not sure why no one's doing that yet. Maybe they will, maybe they are in the process of doing it.

But that would make the movies way more available. For the entire world, just. To the point where you could actually just change the language.

No longer subtitles, just change the language you want to see the movie in. Or if you want to watch Stranger Things and decide you want to watch it in German. I want to watch in German.

And then everything changes. All the same voices. But just speak in German and the lip sync goes exactly how it does.

So there's no. It's no mismatch like you get on dubbed movies. And with a TV show as big as that, you know, Stranger Things.

Imagine how much more popular because it's popular anyway. Imagine how much more popular if it was. Dubbed into every language of the world.

But not dubbed, but changed so that, you know, Iraq and Afghanistan and Poland. And Jamaica and all the different places could be able to listen. Scotland would be able to listen and it be in a proper language that they can understand.

Scotland. Scotland. Is there an actual Scottish language like there is Welsh? I realise that.

It's an ignorant question. Well, aren't all questions ignorant? Because if you're asking a question, it means you don't know the answer, which means you're ignorant to it. That's what ignorant means is not not knowing.

So if it's all you being ignorant. No, ignorance is not being rude. It's that's being rude.

It's a difference. Can't know everything, especially things like that that are unimportant. That's rude.

I do have ancestors from Scotland. I mean, I'm 48 percent Irish. And there's a big connection, isn't there, between Ireland and Scotland as far as the Celtic roots and.

Wales as well. But I wonder, I don't know, because Ireland had their own language. Wales have their own language.

I just I wondered if Scotland had their own language. Just genuine question. I mean, they kind of don't need to if if they want to speak a language so that people outside of Scotland can't understand what they're saying.

They don't need to because we've already got that. It's just called speaking quick, quick, quick, quick, quick. It's it's Glasgow.

I mean, I'm pretty good with Scottish like listening, but sometimes. And it is it's to do with speed. I mean, if you if I listen to someone from Liverpool or Manchester.

I've got a kind of inwardly slow them down. As they talk so that I can get what they're saying. If I'm listening to them on a like a podcast or something.

I'm usually OK, but it takes. I'm not going to get every word. And if you get two people, I mean, I notice that just people that are comfortable with each other.

I've noticed that sometimes they don't even finish their words. They get lazy with words. And they slur.

It's like, no. Say the full word. I go to the bathroom.

Yeah. What was that? The thing is. The communication is more than just words, isn't it? I suppose if you're if you're like very close to someone.

The communication is. The eyes and the actions and. Repetition.

Because every time you get out for a wee. During the adverts. Watching.

I don't know whatever TV show is. Antiques Roadshow. Although Antiques Roadshow is on BBC One, isn't it? Anyway, if you get up.

And you say I'm going to the toilet. Why are you announcing it? Is a question I would ask, but yeah. And or you just get up to go to the toilet and your partner says.

Can you get me? Yeah, right. So, you know, can you get me a cup of tea? Yes. Okay, my dear.

I'm just going to do a wee wee first and I'll make it for you. In fact, what I might do is put the kettle on now. Then do a wee wee.

And then come back. And, you know, put the. The hot water into the cup.

And perhaps I'll put the tea bag into the cup first before I do a wee wee. Or maybe I might even put the hot water. Boil the hot water up.

Pour that into the cup with the tea bag. Then do a wee wee. Giving the tea time to percolate.

Percolate. That's a lovely word, isn't it? Percolate. And.

All of that is in a grunt. So I'm quite lucky that I was not lucky. But I don't I don't have that.

I've seen it in action. Yes. I did indeed.

Yes. Ooh, ooh, ooh. Widdly, widdly, woo.

What was I going to say? There's something I was going to say, but I've forgotten what it was. Oh. No, I can't remember.

I canny remember. I'm planning to take the little sausage out when I finish this. Give him another wander around.

And then go out again about half four. So on two, three. So it's about three hours.

I try to take him out every four hours, roughly three or four hours. Because at the moment. Once it's dark, that's it.

He ain't going out no more other than into the garden. But it is still light at five o'clock now. But it's not light, light.

Five o'clock is too late to take him out because by the time I get home, it's dark. So I think quarter to five is really the latest I can take him out in order for him to have a proper wonder. Try and say the word.

And then be back before it's dark. Because once it starts to get dark. It's quite a quick process.

Which is amazing, really, how I mean, you could see it's not just a sun down as the sun goes down. But then it's that's the dusk to dawn or dawn to dusk or whatever. It's that period, isn't it? Of about half an hour where.

Or 20 minutes where just like you can see fine. And you know, you can't know you can't know you can't. Where are you? So.

That's probably a bit too dramatic, but you know, the deafener. I'd rather not be out at that point. And.

It's lovely to know that. In just a couple of weeks time, it will still be light at half past five. And then probably two.

Yeah, by the end of this month, beginning of next month. It'll be yeah, it'll be light at six. Probably in about four weeks.

If not less. It might not be light, light. But it'll be light enough to be out.

The sun won't be shining and no sunbathing will be taking place. Do you know what I did? The last two times I sunbathed, I can remember them. Isn't it weird? Once was.

When I lived above the chip shop. My bedroom window led to. The roof.

Of I think it was the kitchen. Or not the kitchen, probably the the bit where we used to make the potatoes. Make the potatoes, you know.

How did you make the potatoes? We made them from wood shavings. Okay. So and it was flat.

And I used to lay on there and sunbathe. Even though sunbathing was not a good idea for my skin, I still used to do it. And I used to get burnt sometimes.

But I liked. The quietness. Because it was a Sunday.

So there weren't a lot around. The town was pretty much closed on a Sunday. Back then.

No supermarkets were open. The. Newsagents were only open till about.

Midday. And the off license was only open. Again, sort of for a couple of hours in the morning to lunchtime.

And then maybe in the evening for three hours. Other than that, there was no shops open. Until 7-Eleven came along.

In my where I live that is. I'm sure in London it was different. And other cities.

So. It used to be very quiet, which it wouldn't be normally in a town. So I'd be just laying there.

And it was nice and. Yeah, I don't know why I thought about that. And then.

I'm sure someone came up. Why did they come up to my flat? Oh, I suppose they had the keys, didn't they? Because I had no privacy in that place. People used to come and go.

I. And I went to the beach. This might be in the same time. I went to the beach, but I didn't go to the most popular part.

Where is the promenade? I went around the rocks. So there's a lot of people sunbathing, but there wasn't people walking past. You know.

And. I was very, very, very. Embarrassed is the correct word, actually, with my body, because I was super slim.

I had no fat on me at all. And. I didn't.

I was. Yeah, I was embarrassed to be kind of being naked in public. But I kind of enjoyed lying on the beach.

I think I only did it once and. Hearing the sea kind of, you know, the breeze of the of the beach, the the sea, and you could hear people talking and maybe the old radio playing and stuff because people like to share their music, don't they? In public lesson. And.

So there's a bunch of noise, but at the same time. I found it quite relaxing. Because it is just background chatter, a bit like what I am, I guess, on these recordings.

And I remember just laying there. Really relaxed. Peaceful.

Calm. Yeah. It was nice.

I probably got burnt as well then because I can't be out in the sun for long. I used to quite enjoy, you know, that feeling when you're in the sun. Let's say you're in the garden and stuff and you then you go into the house and everything's dark.

Yeah, I like that. I don't know why. It just reminds me of summer.

I get that with these glasses because they're actor light, whatever. So they go, they go dark. When I'm out in the sun or in the light.

So when I come inside, it's like a double whammy of that kind of darkness. I can't, literally can't see people sometimes. Because my eyes are just like, my eyes are trying to adjust.

But so are the lenses at the same time. Hmm. I wonder what this summer is going to hold.

Maybe spring soon. I've only got, spring starts at the end of March. And we're already 10 days into February.

So we're a third into February. Wow. One third, two thirds, three thirds.

10th of February. Oh yeah, I had a couple of comments that were nice. I'm going to read these out.

Let's have a look. This is really. Okay, this is from Sebastian.

Now while I know it's a bit unfitting under this wonderful, relaxing, beautiful content. Here's my official Q&A Friday question. Do you know what year this is? Do you know who was born in... Oh dear, oh dear.

Do you know who was born in 1926? Whose 100th birthday it would be this year? Do you know what your... Okay, I'm not going to read the rest of that. So yes, I wouldn't know. But because the question's coming from you, Sebastian.

I know exactly who you're talking about, so no. So I did this recording. When did I do it? Was it yesterday? I think it was yesterday.

It's released 18 hours ago. So yeah, yesterday. Permission to pause.

So... I had someone leave me a message saying nice things. Where is it? Okay. I just want to read all the comments.

Where are all the comments? Published. Top comments. Why does he keep coming up with top comments? Ah... Oh, okay.

That's why. Oh, here we go. So, permission to pause.

This is voice only overnight. Okay, got you. And... Then there's overnight voice only.

I've got two comments. One is from Christine. The other one is from Sorenable.

Sorenable. Sorenable. Sor-en-able says, Wow, power sleep.

So thank you for that. And... Christine's written, Jason, this is my favourite one to date. Most relaxing one ever.

This is one I listen to most. I usually like the music, but this one was pure sleep mode. Thank you so much.

Wow, so thank you. So this is, permission to pause. It's got the thumbs up, by three people, including Uncle Sebastian, who, what he was saying, you know, sorry to put this underneath such a lovely content, so I don't know if he was talking about the image or the recording.

But... So I did that yesterday. I've got another three to upload, so you might like them as well. I'll only do one a day now, because I think, and I mentioned this yesterday, if I upload too many recordings in one day, then they're going to get lost.

They're going to get lost in the crowd, and I don't want that to happen. Because that could have happened if I'd have released all four of my recordings yesterday. Chances are, Christine and Sorenable might not have even listened to the permission to pause, because there was three other recordings to listen to.

Because you can't listen to everything, can you? So, yeah, one a day. I do the Let Me Bore You To Sleep separate, but one relaxation, sleepy one a day, at the most. I was doing three a day, and I don't think people get to listen to them.

They get a little bit, yeah, I do think they just get a little bit lost along the way. And it doesn't make too much difference either. I mean, I could, okay, if I release another one, yeah, the stats go up a bit, but it's not a huge amount, not a huge, huge, although I did release the, what did I release? Yesterday's Let Me Bore You To Sleep.

I released those this morning. Blimey. I've been asleep and this study started shaking.

Like shaking itself off like it was wet or something. He's a funny little sausage. He really is.

You're a funny little sausage, aren't you? I think one of the problems is when he sees his mum, which he did yesterday, and he spends, he spent about five hours around there. He doesn't like coming back. He doesn't like coming back here because he's got such a connection with her.

Her son was there as well. And he was one of the first people to hold Vinnie when he was a baby. So they, they've got that bond with him that I guess I'm never going to have in a sense, you know, because he hasn't known me his whole life.

Even though I should have a stronger bond with him because he's with me all day, every day. We live together. We sleep together.

We eat together. You know, we just, when we go out, we're together. So I'm not down that he's probably got some kind of feelings for me.

Don't know what they are. Tolerance, I think. Just about tolerates me.

But it's kind of when he goes over there, he's so treated like really. It's like a big adventure. He's super excited and running around.

There's more space over there. They've got a garden, a big sofa that you can run and jump all over. Three people that you can play with and multiple rooms you can run in and out of I have my door closed most of the time so he can't really run between rooms because he barks so much and he doesn't do that anyway.

When he's here, even if the doors are open he doesn't run between the rooms. But there he does because he's so excited and I guess if there's someone else in a different room he'll run between the rooms to say hello to them and sometimes he'll go and just sleep on the bed. They just disappear and which he will do here as well.

If he gets a chance he will go and just have a big sleep on the bed. But I don't let him out of the room. Sometimes I do.

But it's not that I'm keeping him hostage. It's just any sound, anybody trying to open their own front door or anything like that he'll just start woof woof woof and I just don't want the neighbours to complain. That's all.

So I try and keep him to a minimum. I know he has to bark sometimes I realise that. He's a dog and it's natural for a dog to have a bark.

But I do keep it to a minimum. And also I'm keeping my voice down as well when he does bark. Because I found out the other day that my neighbours downstairs hear me more than they hear him when he's barking.

They hear me telling him to stop or asking him to stop sometimes and I thought that's not good. So now I just whisper say Finny shut up please Finny I don't know. And yeah that's it.

Is there any other weird stories before we go? Emu an emu a sports mascot got pushed a swan was rescued after being stuck in ice that's not a very funny story it's I don't know I'm just thinking of a visual I don't know. What if the ice he got stuck in ice and then the ice kind of broke and it swam along but a big bit of ice is kind of like surrounding it and it ends up in the Antarctic.
