Yeah! But there are a lot, it's a lot of stuff on there. And jasonnewland.com is pretty much just my podcast. So you go on there, all the latest recordings are on there, which you can stream.

So yeah, I was looking at the news and I thought, you know what, well actually I wasn't looking at the news, I saw it earlier and I thought, what we need right now is just a mild antidote to that. A little bit of juicy JJ silliness. So here I am, doing my part.
Definitely do a little, yeah, have a rest from that. Watching the news is not going to help you sleep, is it, let's face it. Well it might, but I'm not sure what kind of dreams you're going to have.

Join Jason Newland's Boring Group on Facebook. It's weird, well it is weird, but I haven't had anyone join my Facebook page, my Facebook group, in absolutely years. Is it because Facebook's not really as popular as it used to be, it's not used as much? I don't know.
Or is it me? It might be me. It might be. So I posted yesterday, because I went and saw Vinnie's mum, and she's the one that had him before me.
He adores her. And I knew it was the end of February, his birthday. And she was looking through photographs, because she's got a picture of him when he was a baby.
Like literally just born that day. And she's also got pictures of him being born, which I didn't really want to look at to be honest. So if I want to look at, I'd rather watch the news, thanks.
Anyway, she looked at it and said, it's the 28th. I said it's the 28th today. She said no, I just said it's the 28th today.
I said I thought you were talking about when he was born. She said no, I was busy on TikTok, I was looking at something. There was a special statue made of gravy.
I said but I thought you said you were going to look at pictures and find out how old he is. She said I'll do it now. But why did you say it's the 28th? I'll just let you know what day it is.
I said I know what day it is. She said well we both do then, don't we? Anyway, she looked through it because there's a date at the top of the picture. And it turned out that he was actually born on that day yesterday.
He wasn't born yesterday, but you know, he was born. Why do people say that? I wasn't born yesterday. I know you weren't.
It's like someone says something to you, like trying to fool you or something like that. Trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Again, I've never had the wool pulled over my eyes.
Apart from when my Nan used to make us Christmas jumpers. And the only reason the wool was over my eyes was because it wouldn't fit over my head. I remember when we used to get it, it used to be like a rule of thing.
We had to wear them because my Nan was coming. This is my Nanny Newland. Newland, New Land, sorry.
Wow. I forgot myself there. I nearly said it correctly.
New Land. And she always made us jumpers and we'd open them up as part of our Christmas presents. On a Christmas morning and then my Nan and Grandad would come round for lunch.
I want to say they were part of the presents because let's face it, a woolly jumper is not a present to a kid. It's clothing. Now unless, unless that child is like super like into fashion.
Which a Christmas woolly jumper is never going to really fit into that category, is it? But generally, unless it's like expensive trainers or sneakers or whatever they're called in other countries. Sneakers. Why though? Because they help you sneak around.
I mean, it's like, oh, can you invent a new kind of shoe, new kind of footwear? What, shoes? No, wellington boots? No, high heels? No, clogs? No, I want to walk around in bits of wood. So what then? Well, I need something that I can sneak around in so people can't hear that I'm coming. I mean, you need to call the police for that person, don't you?
Don't create a shoe for them, put them in prison.
You want to sneak around? Cat burglars. Some of these sayings, these expressions or these terms just don't fit the actual reality of what they are, do they? I mean, people don't actually steal cats. Apart from those that do.
Why would they? I still remember my nan. Of course I remember her. But, see, my nan loved animals.
My nan loved everyone. She was just full of love. You know, a really lovely person.
I know everyone thinks that about their nan or whatever, but, yeah, it makes no difference what anyone else thinks. I just know what she was like. And I'm sure everyone else's nan was lovely as well.
But mine was the best. And she had, which is weird because she had dogs when she was younger, when she was like, when my dad and stuff were growing up. But they had cats.
They had a budgie. My nan always had cats when I knew her. Right from the age of seven onwards, always had cats.
And my dad cannot stand animals of any kind. I don't know why that is. He can't explain it, he just makes a face.
You know, he can't even control his face. If I say, oh, if I mention Vinnie, he's like, especially Andre, my ferry up. It's just that look of disgust comes on his face.
He doesn't even know he's doing it, I don't think. It's like, I can't understand it. If we were eating dinner and I just, you know, took my pants off and sat on his plate of food.
Yeah, that'd be, you know, a proper expression. But, and I'd wake up in hospital. But, yeah, I don't know why he doesn't like animals.
I really don't get it. But my nan loved cats. And when my last, when the last cat that she had, unfortunately, you know, passed away, my granddad said to her.
No more cats. I don't want you to have any more cats. No more cats.
Who had enough of cats? Because my granddad was Scottish. No more cats. That's my Scottish accent.
Do you like my Scottish accent? Mary, do you like my Scottish accent? I think, Mary, you're from Scotland, aren't you, Mary? See, I'm going to do a big shout out to Mary. Hi, Mary. Because the thing is about Mary, right? M-A-I-R-I.
I thought I used to start calling her Mary when I first, but it's not, it's Mary. I thought I did it in Mari, but it's Mary. Anyway, she's not on Facebook.
So she, otherwise she would be in my Facebook group. So she's one of my most loyal listeners. I've got a few.
But you know, she has to be contacting me outside of the, there's no, she's not on social media. So send me a message a day. So I've got the message and I will respond.

Yep. It's just a bodily function. And it's better to say wee wee rather than I get up to do a bodily function.
It could be anything, couldn't it? And sometimes I look at my phone and I see I've got a message and I read it and then I go back to bed. Well, I go for a wee wee first and I come back to bed. And I don't respond because I'm not functioning.
My brain, when I first wake up, my brain does not function. I can do the bare minimum of like walking into the bathroom. You know, and then sort of coming back into the bedroom again.
So sometimes I'm a little bit late in answering. I've got a really nice message. Oh, where is it? Let me read this message out to you.

OK. I don't know who's it from. I know the name on the thing, but I don't know.
It's not like a name of a person. But it says this person says, Hey, Jason, I listen every night. I always love the subjects and general chatting you do on the podcasts.

So that's yeah, video views. 247 profile views, 2438 likes, 10 comments, 62 shares. And according to this, I would have made 19 pence.
If I was monetized. Last 60 days, that's two months, 51,000 post views on TikTok. So I'm getting more views on TikTok than I do on YouTube.
Profile views, 434 likes, 400. Well, I'm getting more post views on here than I do on TikTok or my podcast now. Likes 4570, 30 comments, 117 shares.
74 pence. If I was saying. So over the last year.
Bear in mind, I've not really used it for a year, but I had some old videos on there. But yeah, overall, since for the year, 66,000 post views, 603 profile views, 4902 likes, 48 comments, 136 shares. So really, it's only been.
I think it was just before Christmas. That I started posting stuff like regularly. And.
I'm just looking at what's the most views in the last. That's not true either, because. My latest recordings had quite good views.
So the stats on here now. Oh, no, no. Yeah, so going back there, the most views I've had on anything.

So that I put that on yesterday. So they rain. Sometimes I get like.

I started to think. Oh, no, what's going on? They do love me no more. But it kind of came back again.

I have a new video recording. I save it to my phone. I shorten it.
So under an hour. Because pretty much apart from some hypnosis recordings. I don't do.
Under an hour recordings generally. I mean I have done. I've done 20 minute hypnosis recordings.
30 40 minutes. And I know through YouTube video. That's quite long.
And but. Even so I think like an hour. An hour is quite a good time for a hypnosis recording.
I think. But generally nearly everything I do is over an hour. I mean I can look at this just search it myself.

Over the last few days. So I had this one video that was getting loads of viewers. And then people have stopped watching it for some reason.
So it was the extreme deep and confusing sleep. 2004 viewers. And.
And I think if I just left that there and not released anymore. No more videos. It might be up like a lot more.
Might have 10,000. Because I kept uploading more. Like 123456789.
So I've released nine more. Videos since then. And.
It's almost. I feel like that other one. That one's just been forgotten now.

And there was this debate. There's a kind of debate things on there that I watched. And I can't believe the stuff people are coming out with.

But it was someone in there and every single. Sentence ended with bro. Yeah, bro.

Do you not know you're doing it? I mean, I don't know. Is that a disorder? Is that. You want me to talk about Tourette's? OK, let's talk about Tourette's.
I am. This recently was it the BAFTAs? I don't know whatever it was. There was a thing.
This is a news bit. But I don't know what to wear news. But this is this is quite big news in in the UK.
And it was the BAFTA Awards, which is, I think, the English version of the. The Oscars. I think.
It's not broadcast on TV live. That's that's what was the. That's where the controversy, what controversy, the controversial part of the.
This was the fact that it was edited. But what was edited and what wasn't edited? So. There was a. One of the main movies that I think is in the running for an Oscar, and I think it won.

BAFTA. Winners because I see a little bit of this BAFTA winners. OK, Robert Aramau.
And. And he OK, the listing for let's have a look. The listing for.
This story is unavailable. Why? Right, so he's in a he's in a movie called I swear. I think I think that's the name of it, I swear.
OK, I'm going to go off now. I watched Sinners, right? Now, I don't want to be like. Could I be all negative, negative, nanny, negative, any or whatever, but.
Negative. Bobby, your poo head. I wouldn't have even considered that Sinners would be up for any awards of any kind.
Because. It was a little bit to me, it was a little bit like to dusk from dusk to dawn. The first half was great.
Great. It was real dramatic and George Clooney and what's his name and. Yeah, that whole thing, it was it was really good until they ended up in the TikTok bar.
And what's the name started dancing on the table. Now, I'll include that bit in the good part. And then it turned into a vampire movie.
And no, it was fun. I'm not saying it wasn't fun, but it was a different movie. It was definitely two different movies in a sense of it was no longer what it was.
It was just. I would have perhaps put up that first half for. Nominating if, you know, maybe for the acting and everything.
But the second half, it was just silly. Didn't for me, it didn't fit in with the first half of the movie. What's her name? Who was dancing? And.
I forget her name. But, yeah, she's she's such a I mean, she's a really, really an amazing actress or actor. I saw in a movie a couple of years ago where she was playing.
Well, I've never seen her in a bad role. She's just really, really good, whatever she does. But anyway, I. I saw Sinners and I'll be honest with you, because I didn't know what it was about.
And I was enjoying it because it was very, you know, the the whole. You need to watch it to know what I mean. I don't want to do spoilers.
But the. I can understand why it was really in that sense nominated because the acting was good and. The characters and.
The times in America that was based upon and slavery and stuff like that. You know, some were free, some weren't free, or maybe it was just after slavery. But it was kind of.
Yes, it was a very grim period in America. I did actually watch it. I still obviously don't know anything about what it was about.
But it was like segregation or anyway. And. That was interesting.
And, you know, that was an interesting part. For me. When they started introducing.
I mean, is it is it a shock to say that it's a vampire movie? Everyone knows is a vampire movie. If you don't know it's a vampire movie, then I apologize. But I didn't know it's a vampire movie.
I mean, I watched it. I think in I don't know what this is happening or it is just a bit. I didn't find it particularly pleasurable.
Because it was a bit grim, really. Just yeah. Yeah, it wasn't.
It's like all the action happened at the end or like, you know, after the hard the midsection. And there was bits that didn't fit together. It didn't make sense to me.
But I was facing the other way. One of our June half of it. So.
Because I was scared. Only through the heart of the first half. The second half I was fine.
Once the vampires came in, I was all right. And no, it's. I mean, you're not going to.
They wouldn't have done the award because I had twins. One person on the screen playing his brother twin brother. That wouldn't be because that's just a mind.
Yeah, I suppose in a sense. Talking to yourself is like a pretty amazing, you know. Yeah.
Bob Hoskins did it, didn't he? In the 80s. With the. That lady that he was with.
What was it called? Bob Hoskins movie? Wait. He basically is animated except for him. But with the technology, they can have him talking to someone like a real person and then just swap that person over.
For a replica of him. Talking, you know, I mean, I don't know. So I didn't really see why it won.
Anything, but then I don't know what else was nominated. I've not seen one battle after another, because I'm not really into. Is that a TikTok movie about people battling each other? Or is it? I suppose it might be.
Yeah. Let's have a look at the BAFTA winners. The best film with one battle after another.
Taken home six awards. Best film, best director for poor. Sinners won three BAFTAs.
OK, support an actress for what? Yeah. OK, I'll go for that. Support an actress.
She was really good in that. All the actors were good. So it was like a genuine kind of good acting.
But then when you chuck in vampires, the acting doesn't really make any difference, does it? Because it's. Well, I like vampire movies, but it's silly. It's just it turns it into like a children's movie.
I know it might sound weird considering it could be all gory, but like, like make-believe fairies. And, you know, I don't really see much difference between Cinderella and. You know, a vampire movie.
Or a zombie movie. It's just it's different in context, but it's still kind of fantastical silliness. And fun, maybe.
I mean, I don't know how much of that. Hamnet won Outstanding British Film and Leading Actress for Jessie Buckley. I swear this is what I was trying to find.
I swear won two categories, including Robert Aramayo for Leading Actor and Cast in Sentimental Value. And cast in Sentimental Value, one film, best one film, not in English language, My Father's Shadow. What? OK, I'm a little bit confused.
They're not writing it down in a way. Right, so I don't know. I didn't really know any of those movies.
I reckon this is the BAFTAs, but. I'm pretty sure in America when it comes to the Oscars that it will be Sinners that wins most of the. I don't know.
Actually, I don't know much about that other one. What is it? The one battle after another. I would say probably the.
Leading actor, I think we'll probably go to what's his name from Sinners. That's my prediction because he's well known. And there's nothing wrong with Sinners.
I'm not I'm not having a go at it just. It just reminded me a bit of the old. From dusk till dawn.
I really enjoyed the first part of it and then the next part. I mean, I actually watch sometimes if it's on TV or whatever. I watched the first part and then I'll turn it off when it gets to or once.
Jaime stops dancing. Then I turn it off. Because I think it's only fair.
She's put that energy into dance. And you know, she probably practiced and it seems unfriendly. Unkind of me to just switch off because she's on the screen dancing.
Like I let her do a dance. I show respect. Then I turn it off.
I have a shower so. I swear is. I don't know anything about it other than it's about Tourette's.
And I know a little bit about Tourette's. So I'm not on here to mock anything by the way. One of my closest friends has Tourette's.
So I know a little bit about the condition. Not how what it's like to have one. But I know what it's like what he's how he's explained it to me.
And I've met quite a few people that he knew that had Tourette's as well. Anyway. What the BAFTA issue was.
Because you might be in another country and not have even heard about this. Is. Two incidences happened.
During the BAFTA's. Which involved there might be more than two. But two that involved people shouting out.
Whilst. The stars were collecting their awards. Or reading out you know.

have a little chat with him which I'm sure all of us would have done in that situation but here's the kicker right and I don't know if it was BBC one whatever TV channel filmed this because they didn't show it live they edited out only one of the shout outs they edited out the free p-a-l-l-e whatever they that they stay edited out that but they left in the slur racial slur word that's what upset people most like why did you leave one in take another one out so it's almost like
we don't upset one group but the other group why not just delete both it doesn't it's very easy even I know how to do that and I'm pretty rubbish when it comes to editing even I could have edited that out especially technology they've got they can they can remove background sound and still have the person talking or just edit I mean I just saw clips I'm not gonna watch the BAFTAs I saw clips on on YouTube and on the news because it's got newsworthy apparently and I just got thinking I
wonder what my friend thinks about this if he he wouldn't care because he's he's got other things to think about he's not bothered about what's on TV but there was a similar situation with him so he owned a comedy club and there was a lady in the audience one night on a Friday or Saturday night who had Tourette's and she spent about she ruined the first act by shouting out the whole way through and she ruined half of the second act by shouting out all the way through and they kept
asking her please and she in the end they removed her because she was ruining a show for there was 200 people there and the rest of the show was completely ruined because she was shouting out and if you know anything about comedy you kind of need to be able to hear it unless it's physical comedy I guess but you need to like the punchlines if you shout out during the punchline you've really ruined it anyway she she took my friend to court because she had Tourette's like he didn't know she
had Tourette's she didn't tell anyone she had Tourette's but she got kicked out she got taken out to the bar and she caused such a fuss they just kicked her out of the club like go on go away because she was being horrible and and I know the place they they don't like to kick anyone out you know go to the bar spend some more money at the bar while the comedy acts on because there was doors to separate the bar from the comedy bit so you can still watch the
comedy but not be heard and it's just shouting and they really don't like never like to kick anyone out unless it was like really you know bad so she took him to court she took my friend to court and my friend went turned up in court and he said all he said was I've got Tourette's and my friend was quite well known he's quite a don't use the word famous for it because he didn't want to be famous for it but he was a well-known especially in London it's been loads
of magazines newspapers for having Tourette's he was he didn't want to be the Tourette's poster boy but he because he was a successful comedian a successful businessman owning a successful comedy club a nightclub he kind of got a bit of attention anyway they chucked it out they chucked the whole the case was gone the judge just like laughed it off because she was coming from the perspective is that he was being prejudiced against her disability which is impossible really considering he's got the same condition and he just like they just
they pretty much just laughed they'd I'm sure he didn't laugh laugh but they didn't laugh laugh but I did find it funny just the whole idea that neither of them were aware that each other had Tourette's and because she what she was doing I don't know how she did it but or maybe he knew she did but he he didn't get involved like he let the staff deal with it and he just like was there but it doesn't sound like him he normally would get involved and I mean quite often
in that situation he just given their money back and said come back when you're not drunk or you're disturbing the show you're just gonna have to I think they gave her a couple of warnings if you disturb the show you'll be gone it's not like it's a rock concert you can shout out on rock concerts or you know live music venues and stuff where it's really loud or during the disco or nightclub or whatever but and she thought she was gonna get some kind of a payday I think no no
no no no no payday so in fact it probably cost her money so she took him to court she'd have to pay the fees wouldn't she she'd have to pay his his costs as well if she lost the court at the case which he did yeah that's the thing if you I think with the law people use a law like with poker see really really rich people like really rich people can it's almost like gambling with the law they use a law solicitors and stuff because in a poker game ultimately
it's the person has got the most money that will win if you never if you never have to fold ever then you you just if you've got like you know an untold amount of money in your pocket so you could just keep pulling out you're gonna win really I guess it's that's my understanding of it if you've got a good hand and obviously if you've got a crap hand you fold with your good hand you can really push it and push it and push it to the point where the other
person has no money left and they've got no choice but to end and it seems that the the lawyers using lawyers is a similar kind of thing so you take someone to court and they can't afford to go to court but they can't get any help with solicitors you could really you know it's like playing that game especially if if you win the court case then the other person owes money and I think there's some countries you can own money that you don't even have so if you lose a court
case you can end up owing thousands of pounds and you have to keep paying it off until you paid off you know it's like that yeah I mean I'm kind of partly making all this up hope you appreciate that and my granddad said no more cats and he comes back one day I think he'd been up to get the paper or he'd been to visit someone maybe gone for a long walk and he came back and my was sitting there with two cats one on a lap and one on the

and the boxing had started only just the first fight just sort of started and it went on to about five I really struggled to keep my eyes open and it wasn't pleasurable not really so I kept closing my eyes and falling asleep so I don't know I probably should have just watched it on playback but there is quite a few boxes boxing matches coming up over the next few months there's one next month then May no March March April May so next month so there's three heavyweight fights coming up there's
Chisora against Wilder there's four okay so the other one is Dubois against Fabio Wardley the other one is Moses Satalma he's fighting next month also Tyson Fury is fighting again he's fighting Megalomogamoch so there's four big well thing is technically I mean Tyson Fury every fight he has is a big fight so that would be a good one because who is fighting game as they come he's definitely he's not there to he's you know you'll give him a good fight probably a better fight than anyone else has done since Wilder well apart from you know Usyk.
Usyk is fighting a kickboxer he's defending his world titles against a kickboxer I mean since when does that happen I can understand him fighting a kickboxer apparently he's the best kickboxer of all time or whatever and fighting for fun earn loads of money people will still watch it but how how can that person be allowed to fight for the heavyweight championship of the world when not they're not ranked anywhere in the boxing listings he's not even in the top hundred of boxers because he's not a boxer that's like does that
mean that Usyk if he because this is a voluntary defense so he can choose who he wants not mandatory where he has to fight forget this yeah he'll have to fight like the number one challenger next time but does that mean that if he decided he could fight anyone literally it's not anyone he wants he could fight me I'd go in there and it would be a very short fight I mean but for that money I'd give him a chance you know I'd let him get a few punches in and

what you do because I said to him what if it bites he said what you do is you stick and he said this isn't like a weird thing it's a real thing and I saw in a self-defense class and yeah what's it called a first aid class apparently first aid and so what you do is if a dog's got your arm you put your finger up his bum okay I don't really want to say that but you put your finger up his bum and that that makes a dog let go
