Hello and welcome to this metal thing is getting in the way again. I've got this thing right it's basically sticking out of my desk and I don't even know what it's for. I guess something you can put something onto it.

It's like a tiny little thing but it's metal and it's like a hook and it sticks out and I just keep banging it whenever I kind of get to the desk and keep mentioning it but I don't do anything about it. So welcome to jasonnewland.com. This is Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name is Jason Newland.

Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. I thought what I'd do today is have a little look through the papers. Have a little look.

But not the UK papers. I want to look through the United States papers. In fact, no, I'm going to go through.

So I'm gonna do English language only. So if I go for regions, let's have a look. That doesn't work.

So on a region, not region. Countries. Okay, countries, let's have a look.

Armenia, Bulgaria, Canada, Canada, let's go for Canada, English. And let's have a look what papers are in Canada. So I'm using PressReader.

I got a free seven day subscription. And let's have a look what ones I've got. There's the Globe and Mail.

Various different editions, but you've got the Toronto Star, the National Post. Looks to me like it's is it financial papers? I don't know. Vancouver Sun, Calgary Herald, Ottawa Citizen, Montreal Gazette, Toronto Sun, the Chronicle Herald, Metro, Edmonton Journal, the Chronicle Herald, Cape Breton or Breton Post.

This is confusing for me. So this is all today's date, Thursday the 9th of January 2015. 2025.

So which... I don't want to do by provinces or territories. Can we not just do it by national or national? That's what I want national. So you've got the National Post, the CBC edition, CBD, CBC News, the Weekly Voice, but that's on a Friday so I'll ignore those.

So today's the Globe and Mail, the National Post and the CBC News. So is that the only newspapers that is available in Canada? Like national newspapers? Because we have local newspapers in every pretty much every area of this country in England. But we also do have national papers that go everywhere that cover the whole country.

It's you know like the Sun, the Mirror, the Daily Telegraph, the Daily Times, the Daily Mail, Daily Express, Daily Star, Financial Times, the Independent. I think that's all of the main... which is quite a lot. Bearing in mind how tiny we are as a country and how huge Canada is being the second largest country in the world.

You know land mass wise after Russia. I'm learning things. Oh it's amazing.

I learned this the other day. I don't know. I don't know why I learned things like this.

It stayed in my head. So I could look at this. Oh I know maybe what it is because... oh okay.

So Cagreys News. Provinces. Oh.

So what's it got in there? Oh by the way, just out of interest or not interest or something. I did do a recording. A Q&A Wednesday.

I just only just released it a little while ago but it was from yesterday and it was aimed at yesterday. I did just answer three questions that Ben gave me. So I just did a kind of a one-off Q&A Wednesday.

So Friday, Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and a little bit today. Not a huge amount today. And downstairs is kitchen has been refitted or still in the process of being done.

Oh was it Monday? Was it Tuesday? Either Monday or Tuesday. We had the gutter people come around. You know the gutters around the like just underneath the roof.

The guttering. What's he doing? He's arguing with a ball. I don't know why.

So they cleaned all the guttering out and it was very noisy. So I had downstairs drilling and banging and the guttering. It was like oh it was quite sound.

Soundy. Very soundy it was. So what I've done this week as I couldn't really.

I mean Tuesday. Monday and Tuesday was very difficult to make recordings because of all the noise. So I've not kept my 365 days continuous recordings but hey.

Oh well. What I have done though because it gave me time to focus on the website and something that I've been asked a few times is where's where are my podcasts on the different apps? Because some people like to use Apple podcasts. Others prefer to listen on Spotify.

Others prefer to listen on Podbean or Podomatic or Castbox. So what I've done is I have searched the internet. I've searched these apps and I've found 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19.

19 different places where you can listen to my podcasts. 20 if you include YouTube because a lot of my stuff's on YouTube as well. And all the latest recordings.

I create a video a 10 hour without music on YouTube every time I make a new recording. There's always a link there. Also a link for my Facebook group.

So that might be useful. So for example you want to listen on Luminary but you don't know where my stuff is on Luminary. You can just go to my face my website jasonnewland.com and then you've got a list of my podcasts.

All my podcasts aren't on all of the apps. So I've got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. So that's not too bad.

Some of them you do need to sign in if you've got an account. If you haven't got an account you need to sign up. But if you're already, if you're on your phone and you're already with Luminary anyway it'll probably just automatically just open up.

Okay for things like Spotify I guess it's the same thing. It might offer you the opportunity to either, oh that's weird, it just kicked me out of my website. Why is that? That's very strange.

So it's, it's all there. So there's lots of things to choose from. You've got Player FM, Apple, Spotify, Spreaker, SoundCloud, Podbean, Podomatic, Amazon Music, Audible, Castbox, Podverse, Podfriend, Podchaser, Podcast Index, Podcast Addict, Player FM, Deezer, Luminary, Podcast Republic, and lastly Podcast App, which I think is the one you get with your iPhone.

Just standard, I think. And the only one that's different from all the others was two. Firstly, Spreaker.

That's the home of my podcasts. SoundCloud, there's only two podcasts on there. And what's the other one? Where is it? Podbean, Pod, Podomatic.

Right. The only ones on Podomatic is things that you can't get anywhere else. Okay.

So these are old, old, old stuff from years ago. They've been on Podomatic for about eight years or something like that. So if you want to listen, what are they saying? This could not be found.

What are you talking about? Well, I need to sort that one out then. Right. The first one, fall asleep with Jason, six day course.

Couldn't, it couldn't open it. Right. But chronic pain, hypnosis, Tuesday.

This is a Tuesday. Chronic pain Tuesday. And this says here, six years ago, so that was uploaded.

30 day relaxation plan. That opens as well. That was weird thing about that.

And just the way I do stuff, I just, why? I originally uploaded 30 day relaxation plan, hypnosis course to Podomatic in 2011. And I just ignored it. Because I didn't really focus on that one anymore.

And I went and carried on using probably SoundCloud and stuff. Because I didn't pay. I just, I got the all of the 30 recordings onto a free plan.

I just reduced the size of the recordings and it all feared. So I added in 2011. I revisited it in 2017.

Out of just out of accident, of accident, it's not even a sentence, is it? By accident. I was just searching online, see if anything, just just searching for stuff, really. Googling myself, of course.

And I found the 30 day relaxation plan. But I'd not visited since for what six years. And I'd had 150,000 downloads.

What did I do? I removed it. Yeah, I'm clever like that. And so in 2018, I added it again, or six years ago, whenever that was, and probably had about 100, 100 plays.

It's weird, isn't it? Just I don't know why I did that. But if I look at the first one, number one, five plays, okay. So a bit pointless.

But you know, I should have kept it. So I've got 34 day relaxation hypnosis podcast. So that is on there as well.

I've had a few few plays of that. But again, this all old stuff. 28 day smoking course, stop smoking course.

That's on Polymatic. That's been on there six years. I got the seven day insomnia cure hypnosis course.

Blimey. That's been there seven years. And yeah, blimey.

So day one, I've got 1023 downloads. That was May 30 of 2018. So there's these are old things I don't have anymore.

On my normal podcasts. I don't even have them on my website. They're just that metal thing.

Keep banging it. And so yeah, they're just there. So if you do want to visit some of the old stuff, like the really old stuff, Polymatic, that's your place to go.

But the links in the menu on the website. And you also got short pain relief hypnosis course. That's on there.

And that was from six years ago. Blimey, I forgot all about this. Short relaxation hypnosis podcast.

That, that's weird. That should have brought me to the website, back to the website. So I don't know what that is.

I need to check these links. Sleep hypnosis weekly. So that one is from six years ago.

Fall asleep counting sheep. Now this one, this had like hardly any from six years, six years ago. Hardly anything.

But there was a time when that was one of my most popular podcasts. I know, hard to believe. Going back to Blimey, well, I guess seven, eight years ago.

It was popular. I don't know why. Hypnotic buffet.

See, I like the hypnotic buffet because that was my first delving into experimental, experimentally trying to mix chatting and hypnosis. Hypnosis is, it's kind of the precursor to the Let Me Bore You To Sleep. But hypnotic buffet, hypnotic buffet, you know, it wasn't the first thing.

The first one I did was hypnotic, hypno chats. But I don't know. I don't know where they are.

So I did hypno chats first in about 2011, maybe 2012. Then I did hypnotic buffet. Then I did a thinking out, thinking out quietly.

I think that was another, like another version of these. And then I ended up doing the Let Me Bore You To Sleep, which started off very much like those. The really early versions of the Let Me Bore You To Sleep was very much me leading a relaxation session.

And then it turned into something else. I'm not sure what exactly. So Jason Newland's hypnosis podcast, and there's another one.

And that's on Podomatic. So that's a wow. I tell you what, if you want to listen to listen to some of my really old recordings, like from over a decade ago.

Well, over a decade ago, blimey. And this, these probably range from 2009 time. 2008, 2009, 2010.

Blimey, there's a lot. Oh, I've got my hypno chats. Okay.

So if you if you want to listen to the hypno chats, which was the very first thing I ever did, I did. Okay. I did Jason chats.

I started doing that vlog, blog, whatever you want to call them. Well, it's mainly video really, but so vlogs. I started doing Jason chats, probably about 2008.

Before that, it was just updates. Exactly the same. I just called them Jason chats.

But then I think I had different names for them at different times. I think I went through a period, what did I call it the the weirdy beardy or something? The bearded hypnotist? I can't remember. Weird.

I'd have to search. I've got some I might not be reading the papers, by the way, I just realized I'm talking about other stuff now. So if you go to podomatic and click on so podomatic on my website, it's in the menu.

Click on the last one, which is Jason Newland's hypnosis podcast on the list. And it takes you to that page. And there are 151 episodes.

They're old, they're all old. I mean, apart from the fact they've been on there for six years, but they're all really old recordings. Really, none of them are going to be good quality sound.

Not really selling it, am I? I've got healing words. That was another version of the of the hypno chats. That might be the second one I did healing words, and then hypnotic buffet.

And then thinking out loud, or thinking quietly. Thinking out loud? Well, I don't know, thinking, thinking quietly or something out quietly. It was something like that.

But it was, I might have it on now I should have a look. So I've got he hit no chats. And there are 20 of those got one hypno buffet, hypnotic buffet on there.

And all of the hypno chats lasted. Blimey, I've got one for two. Don't you don't want to look at that one? Yeah, I did one on death, which wasn't a probably a good idea.

But it's two hours long, two and a quarter hours long, blimey. But I did one on bereavement, I did contentment. So the hypno chats, some of them I think are quite good.

A couple probably worth missing. I'd say probably maybe 99% of what I've done is worth missing, but it's okay. There's a few little gems in there along the way.

So hypno chats, number one was called the future or just future. I didn't use to put dates on my stuff back then. So I don't know when it was.

Number three, hypno chats, self esteem. Number two is public transport and sending healing energy. Ah, that was a good one.

It's only a short one. That one is like 10 minutes. Self esteem's 40 minutes.

Hypno chats for stop caring what others think. That's 40 minutes. Gratitude is number five.

That's 41 minutes. Be kind to yourself. Hypno chats number six.

That will give you an idea what I'm talking about when I say be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy. Or remember to be kind to yourself. That goes a little bit more into what I'm talking about there.

And again, this goes back to years ago, like 2011. I don't think I was even saying it back then. Hypno chats, number seven, a bit of freedom.

Number eight, feeling judged. Number nine, internal dialogue. These are all like five minutes.

30 to 40 minutes long. Attractiveness and inner beauty, two minutes and 20 seconds. I have no idea what's on that one.

That's a bit of a short one. I didn't think I was able to make short recordings like that. Number 12, reward and punishment.

13, stop smoking and other stuff. 14, contentment. So I'm going to miss 15 and 16.

I'll probably avoid them ones. Number 17 is age just a number. That's 45 minutes long.

18 is the hypno chats. Let's talk about beliefs. Maybe you avoid that one as well.

I don't know. I'm not sure where I was in that time. Hypno chats, number 19, can you trust someone who's cheated on you? And number 20, overcoming creativity block.

Some of these recordings were requested. So people would ask and I just do it. So it wasn't always just what I wanted to do.

With the healing words, these very similar kind of thing as well. So number one was allow yourself to feel both pleasant and unpleasant feelings. Number two healing words, the word maybe could change your life.

Number three healing words, what can you feel grateful for today? And these like 20, 30, 40 minutes long. Healing words number four, which is a weird title. There's nothing more depressing than depression.

Healing words number five, the route to happiness is acceptance. Healing words number six, love is everything. That's 43 minutes.

Number seven, are you ready to devote the rest of your life to helping others? 42, 53, that's 42 minutes. Okay, that was I was coming from my own perspective rather than yeah, maybe I was trying to recruit people to I don't know what I was trying to do. I'll be honest with you.

I'm not sure. I've never listened back. So maybe I should listen to these.

What kind of stuff was I talking about? Healing words number eight, blame is just a feeling. And healing words number nine, controlling behavior. That's 44 minutes.

See, I was a counsellor during this time. So that bit of mail sticking out, keep banging it. So I was a counsellor.

So I guess I was more probably quite into well, yeah, I was coming from a therapeutic direction. Very much so. I've also got chronic pain here.

Chronic pain recordings, back pain relief, easy and simple. Chronic pain is not your master. Chronic pain is like a dodgy car alarm.

Focus on your pain for relief. So there's quite a few different ones there with pain, magic mirror for chronic pain relief, with sounds of the sea. There's a lot of stuff there, Brian.

There's a lot of, there's a lot of pain relief. The reason they're not available, generally, is because of the quality of sound. Really bad sound quality, some of them.

I've also got quite a few sleep ones that are no longer available, but the same reason because of the sound quality. So I would say there's like probably sleep safely. There's a try and stay awake hypnosis challenge.

That's the one from the video. And I've got three parts. I did two other ones of those.

Try not to close your eyes hypnosis challenge. Blimey. So all in all, there's probably 120, just on that one podcast, there's about 120 episodes that you'll never hear anywhere else.

Well, no, there's 151 episodes, but 121 that, I mean, thinking about it, it's what's all together, 150. It's a hypnotic buffet. So that's, what's that? 17, 167.

I'll have to add this up. So these are all the recordings that you can't listen to anywhere else. Which is a bit weird.

Maybe, I don't know. Is it weird? Might not be. Might be.

What's a calculator? That's it. Right. I want to get rid of this metal thing at some point.

So we've got 150, 150 plus. Oh, you know what I'm doing at the moment? Chronic pain Tuesday is 10, 10 plus. Hypnotic buffet, which is 17 plus.

I've been watching the penguin. Five plus. One, two, three, four.

Sleep hypnosis weekly, which is seven, seven plus. Short relaxation course, and nothing's coming up on that one. I think that was seven, but I'll just ignore that.

Yeah, I think it is seven. And that's also 10. So I think now it's 10.

So plus 20 plus. Seven day relaxed insomnia cure. So seven plus 28 days stop smoking.

So that's four, because there's only four recordings, one for each week. So that's four plus four plus. And 34 day relaxation hypnosis course.

34 plus 30 day relaxation plan plus chronic pain Tuesday, which was 10, 10 plus. Fall asleep with Jason six day course six. So there are 300 recordings.

Recordings. Or be it old, old recordings, but 300 audio recordings that you can't hear anywhere else. In fact, I'm not even sure if I even have them on a hard drive.

I probably should do. So I mean, you can probably watch quite a few of them on YouTube. Because a lot of them at the time I made videos and then made the audio from the video, which probably explains why the audio wasn't so great.

Now it's pretty much the other way around. So if it's a video just of a still image with a black screen or dark screen after 10 seconds, it's just the audio, your mp3 or whatever. Wow.

That's interesting. Anyway, press reader, tighter vote rules sort and act of wilderness. I don't know any of the the only thing about Canada, that's been on the news in the UK, well, in this country that I've noticed is the whole thing about Donald Trump wanting to make Canada a state of America.

So I don't know if it's true or not. I've got no idea. Bodies of tears.

I think I should be going to debate. Peter Fog... It's going to okay. LeBlanc says, you know, is there any like nice stories in this paper? I don't know.

So I don't know, you know, when it comes to old age and I know a lot of people don't, they want to stay in where they live in and they don't want to go live in a residential place or don't want to live in sheltered accommodation or anything like that. I'm kind of quite open to that. Not I don't live in a residential home, not especially not this age, but a residential home and sheltered accommodation.

When the time comes, doesn't seem like an awful situation to be in. As long as it's safe, that's got to be the number one thing. I don't know, and that's the place that my nan used to live in.

She hated it, but I mean, I didn't like it because she didn't like it, but I thought it was quite nice. It was one of those things, just if there was a way of, well, she needed to be somewhere where there was, she's in her 90s or late 80s, I think when she moved in there. I don't know how long she was in there for.

But she, yeah, it would have suited me. It was quite small, to be honest, quite small, but I'm trying to think it might have been her living room probably wasn't as big as this. Her bedroom wasn't as big as my bedroom.

So it was quite cozy, quite compact. The kitchen, although it wasn't a big space, it was well fitted. You know, it had this storage cupboard and kitchen counters on pretty much on every wall, which I think is a good idea.

If you can have that, just gives you space, you can put stuff on, you know what I mean, in it. But it's hard to really figure out, her room might have been bigger than mine, because she had it's hard to figure out because she had two big chairs. One, so she had a big chair, which she sat in one of the motorized ones that helped to kind of get up.

And there was the ones that kind of help you get out of your chair, very slow. Otherwise, you end up the other side of the room, but they're nice and slow. And I sat in her other chair.

Well, not all the time, because I wasn't always there. But that's the chair I would sit in. And the TV would be to the side, kind of where the window is.

And then there'd be a sofa, the other side of the wall, or the other side of the room, with a table next to it near the wall part. And then there was a table in a gap, which was, yeah, it wasn't, there's not a lot of room. Really, it was.

For me, it'd be different, because I wouldn't need a sofa, I wouldn't need, if I was living in a place like that, all I need is just one chair. I've got no reason to have other chairs. Maybe, you know, I wouldn't need a sofa.

So I wouldn't have visitors or anything. So maybe a table and chair, you know, to eat at, people can sit at the table if, you know, if I have to have someone come around or something, but then he'd have his own chair. He'd be there with his grey moustache, his little grey eyebrows frowning.

We'd both be moaning at each other. I don't know if it'd be, if I'd be too, yeah. I mean, I think you can apply to go in those places at 55 now.

Which means this year, in August, I don't, I don't feel like I'm at an age to be living in a residential home, not a residential home, a sheltered accommodation. But it's, you know, it's one of those things, I have to see, I don't know how, how my back's going to pan out, because of my arthritis in my lower back. You know, I do exercise every day to keep it, try and keep it strong and to keep on top of it.

But there might come a time when I'm not able to do that. And then I'm going to be, I just might be a bit problematic getting up and down the stairs. So hopefully not, but you never know.

You never know, you never know. Tell you what I will do though, if I ever have to have a, like sit in a wheelchair or something, even if it's only now and then, I'm going to get a motorized one and I'm going to drive on the pavements around this estate and I'm going to scratch all the cars, not all the cars, just the ones on the pavement.

So many cars parked on the pavement around here.

And you know what the law is, you're not allowed to do it. And it's not against the law. How does that work? You're not allowed to park on the unenforced rule.

Unenforced. But in London, you're not allowed to park on the pavement at all. It's a law.

But the rest of the country, it's just, it's a good idea not to. Just please don't. But you can if you want.

And I just noticed, the thing that gets me a bit is, I've seen people struggle to try and people, whether they're got a physical, it could be anyone, it could be someone with a pram, a pushchair with a baby, it could be somebody in a wheelchair, an electric one, it'd be electric wheelchairs, they need the whole pavement, don't they? And they're not supposed to go on the road.

It's actually illegal to ride those on the road, those electric wheelchairs. And not only, you know, you can't just ride them around like cars.

People with walking sticks, you know, if he's like, and I know this, we're like, well, well, how are we supposed to park? Well, go to London, go to East London, and see how they do it. No one parks parallel to each other. So if one's parked on the pavement, then the next one to park, not on the pavement, one parks on the road, the next one has to be further up.

Otherwise, the cars can't get through. And as soon as someone parks, if someone parks, it's just an, it's an obvious thing. And everyone knows it.

Anyone who lives in London knows this. You don't park on the road, exactly opposite another car that's parked on the road, unless you live on a big road, which, you know, there are some big roads in London. But if you go to East London, if you go to Stratford, where I used to live, all those little roads, they're still there and probably still be there in 50, 100 years time.

And they've been there for hundreds of years. They stay same size roads, unless they're knocked the houses down, the roads are going to stay the same size. So you have to move up.

So you can never really get any speed. And you have to just let other cars through. And it's all about manners, really.

But you're not allowed to park on the pavement. It's a little bit different if you're letting a car through. That's a different situation.

Provided there's no one else around, there's no one on the pavement. And you do it safely. And a lorry needs to get past or an ambulance or whatever.

Yeah. That's cool. You know, if there's an ambulance or a police car needing to get through, I would drive on the pavement to get out of the way of that to let them through.

It's just, mind you, I did have that happen once. And I was actually on the pavement. That wasn't so good.

I shouted at him. He said, do you not see me? He said, no, sorry, mate. But if I did hit you, at least there's an ambulance there.

He thought that was funny. Oh, look, Wicked Tops SAG Awards Nomination List. Wicked Topped Nominations to the 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards on Wednesday land in the lead in five nominations, including Best Ensemble and individual nods for Cynthia Envero, Adriana Grande, and Sean, that's a picture of her, and Jonathan Bailey.

Okay, to talk about stuff. It was especially strong showing for the Bob Dylan drama. Bob Dylan, really? A Bob Dylan drama, a complete unknown.

Whoa, I didn't know. I mean, is it something written by him? Or is it about him? I'm guessing it's possibly about him. That's one of my little dirty secrets.

I mean, the good thing about having a voice like that is there's longevity, isn't there? Like Rod Stewart. A very unique voice in his 20s. Maggie, I am sailing, I am sailing.

I was like, wow. But his voice stayed the same because it couldn't get any worse. That sounds wrong.

I mean, in a bad way. But it just, it can't. Okay, is another.

Do you remember Whitney Houston? I'm obviously not saying do you remember who she is, obviously. But when she came back, after taking a break, from singing and making recordings and stuff. She released an album and some people, critics, were not wholly kind towards her vocal ability.

Now the problem they had is they were comparing her, which is natural to do, comparing her to her younger self. Now, it's highly unlikely that Whitney Houston was ever going to sound when she was in her 40s, the way she did when she was 17. But when she was 25, it's, you know, it's just practically an impossible situation, because no one generally sounds exactly the same.

And her voice would have changed, her vocal would, you know, just her voice changed, our voices change as we get older. And it's really hard to compete with a voice of an angel, you know, like Whitney Houston was such a clear, almost perfect voice when she was young. And then she came back, and her voice wasn't the same.

But it's, my argument is this, if she'd have come out and turned up singing, and no one knew who she was, you know, she could have gone on to one of those talent shows, you know, as an unknown singer, at the age that she was, I don't know what age she was. Whitney, she wasn't, she wasn't old, I know that. Whitney Houston.

Wow, born 1963. Really? So she was 48 when she departed. So it okay, so she was in her 40s when she when she had the last album, her last album should have a link here to a dick, dick, discography.

She, I mean, she was pretty much the biggest star in the world, weren't she, for a while, like, twice, I would say. Not when she first started, I mean, she was a huge star when she first started, and it was like, wow, everyone was wearing over her. But it was that second album.

It was to me the best song on the Bodyguard album. Probably because it wasn't overplayed. Like I will always love you was, there was a lot of really overplayed songs in them days.

And I used to spend all day listening to the radio in a place that I used to work. And the radio was on all the time. And like Brian, Brian, what's his name? Was it a Kevin Costner movie? Robin Hood, King of Thieves or whatever.

And that song. Tell me what love's worth it for. Don't tell me.

And everything I do, I do it for you. And then you had Titanic. I'm not sure if you had Titanic.

That was that was constantly being played on it. The Celine Dion. And I like to only think twice, which fits together with Canada, doesn't it? Because she's from Canada.

But there was a few. Meatloaf. I would do anything for love, but I won't do that.

I sure she wasn't. And I've got lots of love for her cause it was great vocals and good for you, but it could have been, he could have got to Bonnie. I mean, I'm going to be favorable towards Bonnie Tyler because yeah, she's part of my childhood.

She is an icon, a musical icon. And I always thought that her and, well, when I was a kid, bearing in mind, I was a kid, but I used to think that her and Rod Stewart were like brother and sister because they just had such a similar kind of tone of voice. So she sung, I am sailing, I am sailing.

It would be similar to Rod, Rod and Bonnie. I wonder if they ever sung together. They might have done, you know, did Rod and Bonnie ever sing together? Okay.

What was, it's just perfect voices. Like Bob Dylan, perfect voice. Just unusual, but perfect, just different.

Although my favourite was Elvis, I still think Elvis Presley was just, I loved Elvis's voice. But one of my most favourite voices is, what's her name from the Cranberries? That's as much as I can remember. But I loved her voice.

The, that, it's just, yeah, perfect. I mean, a little bit Sinead O'Connor-y in a sense. I guess the Irish huskiness and the, I just, that kind of way of singing.

It's so good. I love it. Oh, the big, big Cranberries fan.

No need to argue, it's one of my favourite all time albums. There's no need to argue anymore. In Thailand, in Thailand, you go out anywhere nightclub-y, where people are singing and partying, you will hear the Cranberries singing, zombie, zombie, zombie, that's in your head, in your head.

It was like a national anthem out there. Very popular song. Very good, very good.

I love that song actually. So, I don't really get to the newspapers. You know, the problem with doing the newspapers is, it's just, there's not a lot of nice stuff in them.

And I don't want to read out anything that's just, you know, just, so I ended up talking about something completely different. Which means I better cancel that prescription before they start charging me. Because I'm clearly not going to use it, am I? Now, I think it would take all day to find.

Yeah, it'd just be difficult to find stuff. I can skip through and talk about the, because I've done my podcast where I've just totally focused on the newspapers, the Sunday newspapers. And I end up spending more time talking about the crosswords or the, the horoscopes than anything else, which just, it's a bit pointless, a little bit.
