Hello and welcome to relax and sleep hypnosis daily, please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. My name is Jason Newland, my website is jasonnewland.com. Just to let you know there are thousands of recordings that I've done over the years, I've been doing this since 2006. I've got quite a few different podcasts so I do also the sleeping, I've got a Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast, I've got a deep sleep whisper hypnosis podcast among others, so there's quite a few different podcasts.

They're all available on Apple Music, they're available on Spotify, not Apple podcasts, sorry, on Spotify, Stitcher, Google podcasts, pretty much most of the podcast apps will have me on there. Just search for my name, I'm around. I'm also quite round as well.

So I'd like you to get yourself comfortable. This is just going to be one of those, it's going to be a bit of a weird, well weird weird, but all you're going to do, all we're going to do is just ask that part of your mind, that part of your brain to be activated, the part that relaxes you completely. And all you're going to do is just, you're going to ask your unconscious mind and then your unconscious mind will do everything else.

It will activate that part of your brain that's responsible for your muscles and your body to just let go and for your mind to slow down. And that's all that we're going to do in this recording. And you can notice how you feel.

I'll still be talking and chatting. That's basically what we're going to do. And just notice how it starts to occur fairly quickly.

So with your eyes closed, once you're comfortable, sitting in a chair that supports your body or lying down, just say to yourself internally, I'm going to relax. I'm going to relax. Or you could just say, I am relaxed.

Or you could say, relax my body. Relax my mind. Relax my body.

Relax my mind. I'd probably go with the last one. It seems to fit a little bit more.

Some people say, well, but if you do it now, then I'll carry on talking. So remember, say whatever you want to say. Use whatever term you want to use.

So I'll keep quiet. What I'll do is I'll count from 10 to 1. And during that time, say whatever you need to say. You know, you want to relax your body.

Relax my body. Relax my mind. Or I feel relaxed now.

I feel relaxed now. Please relax my body. Please relax my mind.

However you want to word it. And as I count from 10 down to 1, I'll just allow you to do that. And then I'll carry on talking.

Now. 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 Now, whatever you said. You can just allow the message to be connected to that part of your brain that stimulates.

And is responsible for your body. The muscles in your body. To relax.

Your mind. The thoughts in your mind to slow down. And your mind relaxes.

And it's not necessarily one of those things where you just say it. Once and then suddenly you're all floppy. Like, you know, completely like a deflated mattress.

Air mattress or something like that. Or deflated balloon. It's not necessarily going to happen that quickly.

Although it could. Potentially the more often you do this, the quicker it will occur. To the point where you.

Just by thinking about saying the words. Triggers the response. It's a little bit like, you know, if you're a regular listener to my relaxation podcasts.

And you're listening because. Well, I'm guessing if you're a regular listener, they help you. There'd be no point listening if they didn't.

So. After a while. Of listening.

You know, you press play on the. Let's say if you're listening on your phone. Press the play button on the phone.

And, you know, you listen to me. Just the action of pressing play. Can be a trigger for you to start.

Relaxing. In your body and your mind. Now, further down the line.

You might find just the action of. Preparing. To listen to me.

Maybe sitting down on your chair or lying down on your bed. Maybe, you know, you go to the toilet first. Have some water.

You know, get yourself comfortable. Ready to press play. Maybe you have to find the podcast, you know, whatever.

And you press play. But that process. Of preparing.

To listen. To this. Relaxing.

Podcast. Actually has a. Relaxing. Effect.

It triggers that sense of comfort. Starts to fill your body and your mind. Slowing down your mind.

And relaxing. All the muscles in your body. Now.

Sometimes you can even get to the point where just by thinking. About. Listening.

To a relaxing recording. Can have a similar. Beneficial.

Effect. We're just thinking about. Getting home and.

Preparing. Getting ready and laying down and then pressing the play button. And relaxing.

Switching off. Letting all the tension and. Pressure from the day.

Just drip away. And your mind slows down. And things that were bothering you before.

Just seem like a distant memory. Now. It kind of.

It's interesting how that can happen. And it's useful. It doesn't necessarily happen that way but it can.

And there's something about expectation as well. See if you've listened to me regularly. Then as I said earlier.

You're listening because it's useful. And you therefore. Know and believe what I'm saying.

Is likely to happen. If I tell you that by focusing for example. By focusing on your.

Right thigh. That your right thigh will start to. Have a. Sense of.

Maybe heaviness. It almost feels as if the muscles are stretching. On their own.

Yet relaxing at the same time. And that stretching feeling maybe is the. The sense of the tension.

Leaving. The muscles in your thighs. And you expect it to happen because.

You're used to maybe you're used to. Me saying things and then those things. Occur.

If you listened regularly you've. Heard me talk about your mind slowing down. And unless your mind slowed down you wouldn't be listening again.

So you know that when you listen to me. You relax. Your mind slows down.

You feel more comfort. Naturally. This is your time.

Your space. To actually. Give yourself permission.

To just let go. Of everything. You don't need to be anyone.

You don't need to say anything. You don't need to do anything. You can just be yourself.

There's no role. That you need to take on. Just be you.

The you that relaxes. Easily. The you that relaxes naturally.

Feeling calm and loose. Peaceful. Calm and peaceful.

And it may surprise you at times. Just how easily. You can let go.

Just how easily you can. Really. Feel.

The comfort. Growing. Throughout your body.

And that peacefulness in your mind. Increasing. Sending a signal down your spine.

For your body to feel twice as relaxed. Now. Twice as relaxed.

It's almost like at the bottom of your spine. There's a mirror that sends that signal back. Into your mind.

Twice as relaxed and peaceful in your mind. Twice as slow. And now you've got the mirror at the top.

Going back and down your spine. That signal of more comfort. Spreading into your body.

And then more comfort spreading back into your mind. Relaxing your brain. Then going back down into your body.

Then back to your brain and mind. And that continuous loop of comfort. Peacefulness.

Serenity. A real sense of letting go. Feeling at peace with the world.

Feeling at peace with yourself. Such a lovely space. So comfortable.

Noticing how calm you feel now. How peaceful you feel. The stillness of your mind.

And your body. Super peaceful. Everything so calm.

And relaxed. Calm and relaxed. Peaceful.

And relaxed.
