Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com, my name is Jason Newland and this is Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. And I'd like you to get yourself comfortable sitting in a chair that supports your body or flat down on a sofa or a bed.

You can change your position, your physical position anytime in order to ensure your constant comfort which will be growing as the recording continues. So how are you feeling emotionally right now? Yeah, I'm talking to you, to you. So how are you feeling in this very moment? And I'd like you to get in touch with how you're feeling right now.

Are you feeling happy? Are you feeling sad? Are you feeling tense? Are you feeling relaxed? Are you feeling grumpy? Are you feeling sore? Are you feeling maybe bad tempered? Maybe annoyed at my questioning? How are you feeling right now? Not back a few seconds ago, but now. This instant now. How are you feeling now? Maybe you're feeling a bit different.

Because we change. How we feel changes constantly. The sense of comfort changes all the time.

And we're going to focus just on that part of your mind. Where you can really sense. Are you relaxed? How relaxed are you? So I want to do something I've never done before.

And I'm going to count down. Now you might think to yourself. You've counted down loads of times.

What are you talking about? Well I'm going to do a different type of counting down. I don't mean in a different language. I'm still going to be using English.

Although I can do French. But counting backwards would be quite difficult I think. So what I'm going to do.

I'm going to count down from 10 down to 1. And I'm going to ask you. How do you feel? That's it. But when I ask you.

How do you feel? I want you to focus on your level of comfort. That part of you. That part of your mind.

That lets you know how you are. Whether you're tense. Whether you're relaxed.

Whether you're uptight. Whether you're free. And peaceful.

And calm. Okay. And the more you focus on the calmness.

The more calmness you experience. And the more you focus on how you're feeling. The less you're focusing on other stuff.

That's not relevant during this recording. Such things as the past. The future.

Even any part of the present. Apart from what's happening now. I want to talk about the present.

I'm talking about like today. What's happened today. So we're not focusing on what we had for dinner.

What we're going to have for dinner. What we're going to watch on television. We're not going to focus on any of that stuff.

Just how do you feel? Right now. And we'll keep coming back to it. After every ten count.

We will come back to that same question. And you will go back to that same part of your mind. As I ask that question.

And you'll be able to find out the answer. Instantly. So before I start counting from ten down to one.

Just ask you again. How do you feel? I'm feeling fairly calm. There's not a lot of activity.

I say going in my brain. Maybe there's never much activity. But in reality.

It's fairly quite calm. Quite peaceful. Bear in mind I'm actually doing something.

You know. I'm needing to think a little bit. And I'm going to be counting and everything.

My mind still feels very calm. It would feel even calmer. If I wasn't doing anything.

In making these relaxation sleep sessions. Are relaxing. And I do what I say I'm doing.

Or what I'm asking you to do. I do myself. So I'm not just sitting here.

Reading off a script. Do this. Do that.

And then. While I'm sitting here drinking a beer. Or eating a burger.

I'm not. Although now I want a beer and a burger. Brilliant.

Thanks for mentioning it. What I'm thinking about now. I'm thinking about a beer and a burger.

Brilliant. No but seriously. I do what I say I'm doing.

And what I ask you to do. And I think. That energy.

Comes through. That intention. Maybe genuineness.

Comes through. I hope. Now.

Because I. Because I wumbled on a bit there. I'm going to ask you again. And then.

I'm going to start counting. From ten down to one. And I won't be counting particularly slowly.

To start with anyway. So how. Do you feel? Ten.

Paragraph spacing and recurring name or title errors have been tidied. Because this began as a voice transcription, an occasional word or piece of punctuation may still be incorrect.
