Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland and this is Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. Thank you for listening, I hope you're well and please get yourself comfortable either sitting down on a comfortable supportive chair.
By that I mean, you know, if you used to fall asleep, the chair would support your body and you wouldn't fall off it. Yeah, so it's important. Also, you can also lie down on your bed.
Now if you're listening to this solely for relaxation, I would suggest maybe sitting in a chair because if you lay down, your body is already kind of starting to prepare to go to sleep. And by listening to me, regardless of what I say, you might just get bored and fall asleep. So, I mean, I can't actually listen to anything if I'm lying down.
If I'm on my bed, even if it was heavy metal music, I'd still fall asleep. Because, probably because I'm so old. It's about 50 years of sleeping really, lying down on a bed and sleeping.
So I got very used to, as we all are, very used to the connection with lying down on a bed, connecting it to falling asleep. It's very natural. And if you are listening just for relaxation, I say just, but you know, if you have something to do or somewhere to be, I would say set an alarm.
Because you might also fall asleep if you're sitting down again. When you relax deeply, if you need to fall asleep, if you have a need, then your body just relaxes deeply and your mind just really slows down, like proper, proper slow, to the point where it's almost as if there's no activity whatsoever. Admittedly, there's not a huge amount of activity in my brain anyway, but you'll find that, you know, for those of you that maybe in the past have had issues with what you would maybe refer to as an overactive mind when trying to go to sleep.
Listening to me is something that helps to combat that. Because even if you don't consciously get bored with my voice or what I'm saying, your mind does. The thoughts in your mind get very bored.
Because I'm going too slow. You know, thoughts that want to race around and be frenetic don't like listening to slow voices like me. Especially when, you know, it may seem like I'm not really even saying anything.
And your mind starts to switch off and those thoughts start to die down. Because they fall asleep through boredom, lack of activity. And they, maybe they feel soothed, relaxed, but they just don't seem to operate in the same way.
All seems to change. And things do tend to slow down. Time also seems to change.
The passing of time. Because when you're just there with your eyes closed, listening to my voice, there's not really much else happening. It's almost, weirdly enough, almost as if the world starts to just slow down.
The world starts to slow down. And there's a a sense of peacefulness that comes with that. It's almost as if we've been freed from needing to think about anything.
As if there's nothing to think about, nothing to be concerned about. And it's a nice feeling to just be present with your continually relaxing body. Maybe noticing how your mind is slowing down.
There's a feeling, there's a feeling that we all have, that may, it's not always easy to describe. But it's an inner feeling of peace. It's almost, I guess, a bit like being in a room where it's just a sense of being away from everything.
Everything. Being away from everyone, everything. Nothing is expected of you.
Nobody wants or needs you to do anything. This is your special space. And it's within all of us, and it's inside, and it's a feeling, it's just a feeling.
Yet, an increasingly powerful feeling of comfort, which increases the more time you spend bathing in that feeling. The more powerful that feeling becomes, you can actually physically feel the stress dripping out of your body. Just dripping away.
Just like if you go out of a swimming pool or the bath, and you just lay down on the floor. And you'd feel that water just dripping off of your body. Or when you get out of the bath, and you stand on the floor, and you notice the feeling of the water just, again, dripping down your body.
From your head down to your toes, just dripping onto the floor. That feeling, the feeling of comfort, that feeling of tension just dripping out of your body. Feels really calm, calming and relaxing.
It's a special kind of feeling, really. That sense of your body letting go of all tension. Letting it just drip, drip, drip, drip away.
Drip, drip, drip away. And your body has a certain feeling of comfort. and maybe even pleasure that perhaps you don't normally experience, yet in this moment there's a sense, a real, real sense of peace, tranquility and safety, real, honest, genuine safety increases the more time you spend in this sacred space within your own mind, building more comfort without even trying to do anything, just allowing these feelings to be there now, just absorbing, absorbing these feelings of deep comfort spreading through your body as the stress drips away, drips away in the comfort and the relaxation that fills your body,
pushes the stress and tension out of your body, out of your body, drip, drip, tension and stress dripping out of your body, drip, dripping away as the comfort, that sense of peacefulness as you relax even deeper in that safe space within your own mind, sending a message of deep healing through your bloodstream and down your spine to every part of your body, filling up full with that healing energy, pushing out any remaining stress or tension from the past, dripping, drip, drip, dripping away from your body,
away from your body as you start to appreciate yourself, starting to realise that you really are a great person, you're kind, you're loving and you can enjoy feeling relaxed and safe, you can appreciate having this extraordinarily safe, peaceful space where you can relax so very deeply whilst that healing energy spreads through your veins and spreads down your spine into every muscle, every bone, every organ through your skin, healing every particle of your existence, relaxing, healing, filling you with comfort, confidence and calmness, so very calm, so very loose, peaceful and relaxed,
so peaceful and relaxed, relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed, so relaxed,
