Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland and this is Sleep Hypnosis Weekly. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. There's nothing for you to do when you're listening to me except follow what I'm saying I guess.

I'm not saying there's nothing to do, I mean I do ask you to do stuff. Maybe imagine something or you know I do ask you to relax, maybe ask you to count, but you know ultimately you might, I mean sometimes you might listen to me and think to yourself I really can't be bothered to do any of that stuff. And I used to, you know, I'd be listening to recordings, you know I was listening to relaxation recordings over 20 years ago.

I was listening to meditation recordings in, what, 94, 1994, I used to, you know, so I've been listening to things like this for a long time. As well as making them for over 16 years, is it 16 years, I don't know, since 2006. So it's 14, 15 years, seems like 16 years, seems like forever.

And you know sometimes I'll be listening to the recording and I'll think, the person will say to me, right now I'd like you to imagine you're walking along the beach, you can feel the sand underneath your feet, you can hear the waves, the sea, and feel the moist, the you can feel little droplets, you know just spraying your, lightly, your face and your hands and your feet and your legs.

And I'll be listening to that and I'll think, I don't want to imagine walking on a beach, you can't make me, I don't want to, I can't be bothered.

To imagine walking along the beach, noticing the sand underneath my feet, hearing, hearing the waves splashing against the shore as a tide comes in, causing tiny water droplets to splash against my face and my legs, my feet, my hands, my body, and actually appreciating the coolness of that wet spraying of water as it accompanies the smell of the sea, as well as a slight breeze as I'm noticing as I'm walking, you know I'm noticing a bit of a breeze and I might not want to imagine such things in order to relax deeply and maybe fall asleep,

I don't know whether or not I can be bothered to do anything because you might already be so very tired that just by closing your eyes your whole body is so grateful that you decided to stop everything and just lie down on your bed, your body is so grateful that it relaxes deeply to show its appreciation and your mind is so grateful that everything starts to move in slow motion and that sense of relaxation may or may not be connected to the feeling of wanting to fall asleep as you may

or may not imagine walking along that beach feeling the sand underneath your feet and you may think well some people might not have ever walked on a beach feeling the sand underneath your feet and you may think well how how can I know you know you know what it feels like to relax so completely and how and you know what it feels like to have that sensation of the palms of your feet being massaged by every grain of sand as you slowly travel along that sleepy beach and you may ask

well what do you mean by the words the words sleepy beach and some people may wonder why hearing those two words together causes a physical feeling of relaxation instantly spreading from your forehead all the way down to your stomach when you hear those words sleepy beach that sense of relaxation that almost comes from nowhere when you feel it in your arms your hands fingers all the way up to your shoulders and you might start to wonder if it's the word sleepy that causes your back to really loosen up or is

it the word beach that conjures up a sense of safety which relaxes your legs so deeply your thighs your knees calves shins and ankles and then it seems to come full circle when you hear the word the words sleepy beach and the idea of walking along the golden sand your feet being massaged and stretched with every footstep and the idea of the sand literally being sleepy as you take those slow healing steps slow healing steps you may begin to notice a certain sleepy sensation starting to soak into your feet from

the sand a really relaxing mixture of warmth warmth coolness and safety spread in into your toes so gently so relaxing so healing move through your legs fill in your legs with that healing energy from that sleepy beach soaking up the deep relaxation from that special beautiful beautiful healing sand beneath your feet as it continues to spread through your legs into your hips all the way up your back your stomach and your chest from your shoulders into your arms down to your hands and fingers and up through your neck into your

face your jaw your eyes forehead and deep into your scalp as that healing sleepy energy sinks into your brain and into your mind relax in every section of your brain and completely cleansing letting your mind completely healing forever feeling so relaxed sleep and letting go completely letting go count from 10 down as you imagine taking more steps in the sand that you enjoy taking the more relaxed and the sleepier you now feel in fact the more step you take the less you can be bothered to take and even though i'm

counting down from 10 down to one deeply relaxing and sleepy step you take in your mind you feel lazier and lazier and you may decide decide to drift away completely finish finish counting 10 9 8 7 6 5 2
