Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com, my name is Jason Newland and this is Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily, please only listen when you can safely close your eyes, now I'd like you to get yourself comfortable, nice and comfy, sitting in a chair which is comfortable and also supports your body in event of you falling asleep, or you could lie down on your bed, now if you're listening to this lying down, the chances of falling asleep are increased probably by about 80% if not more, in fact if I was lying down recording this,
I would 100% fall asleep, and I think the reason for that is simply conditioning, we're conditioned from birth to associate lying down on a bed, connecting it to sleeping, so that idea that connection is embedded so deeply inside us, that it's never going to leave, it's there forever, it's a huge connection that we have between lying down on a bed and going to sleep, of course we can lie down on the bed without falling asleep, because there are certain activities that require us not to fall asleep,
if we would like that relationship to continue with that person, I've fallen asleep a few times at the wrong times, but there you go, so generally there's just a huge association between lying down, I mean even you think about it, lying on a beach sunbathing, I mean I can't sunbathe because of my skin, I've got red skin, it just burns if I come out in the sun for too long, but you know I've tested it out in the past when I was younger, and you know I would say there's almost nothing like it,
just laying there with the sun on you, it's beautiful, it's a beautiful feeling for a short period of time, before the sizzling starts and I was on the beach once and I heard the sizzling and I thought blimey, I really am starting to burn up, I realized that other people on the beach were cooking eggs on my stomach, I was so hot, it's just ridiculous, so there's that feeling of almost, it's like another world isn't it, it's the feeling of being that relaxed, that the mind just switches off,
and it's amazing when you think about it, if you're on a busy beach, lots of activity, you've got the sound of the ocean maybe, well if you're on a beach you probably have got sea nearby, and you've got other people there, you've got kids, you're laughing, you're screaming and shouting and the sounds of the ice cream truck and whatever else, isn't it interesting that when you lie down and you close your eyes, that all just melts away, it's almost as if once you close your eyes, nothing else exists,
the world almost ceases to turn and there's no one else on the beach except you in that moment, and there's that safety of being completely relaxed and in tune with yourself, it's amazing how easily you let go of all of the worldly thoughts, you let go of thinking about stuff that was and seemed important before and now it's just disappeared, it's disappeared and it's such a nice feeling to experience that sensation of not needing to be connected to anything at all whilst you relax deeply,
you can almost sometimes feel like we're in a puppet show and we're the puppets being almost controlled by the environment, when we're not, but it can sometimes feel like that, and when you close your eyes and decide to relax deeply, you just cut those strings, those imaginary strings because they're not real, but if the cutting of the strings and the sense of freedom that you experience feels very real, just by closing your eyes, the world seems to just shrink away and nothing at all seems important in this moment,
even the important stuff doesn't matter right now, and I'm talking about everything, even the really important stuff that clearly does matter, at the moment it doesn't, and you've got your eyes closed and you're relaxing, everything, and I mean every single thought can just disappear and just vanish, which gives you such a wonderful opportunity to embrace that feeling in your body, deep, deep comfort, so relaxed and so, so calm when nothing, nothing at all is happening, the world is just disappeared, and it's just you, you and that feeling of increased relaxation,
so relaxed, nothing to do, nothing to say, zero to think about, and relax all the muscles in your body, melt, melt away, melt so very, very calm in every muscle, that sense of almost disappearing, disappearing, and as each muscle disappears, you can then focus on the next muscle, or the next body part and observe that part disappearing, for example, maybe noticing the muscles in your eyes disappearing, disappearing, disappearing, your jaw, the muscles in your jaw, disappearing, disappearing, your neck, your neck, the sides and the front, disappearing, disappearing,
your chest and your stomach and your back, disappearing, disappearing, your hips, buttocks and groin, disappearing, disappearing, your legs, your thighs, knees, calves and shins and ankles, disappearing, disappearing, your feet and your toes, the bottoms of your feet and the tops of your feet, the sides of your feet, disappearing, disappearing, your spine, the top of your spine and your brain, all the way down to the bottom of your spine, and all the muscles of the sides of your spine, disappearing, disappearing, disappearing, the skin covering your entire body, entire body, disappearing, disappearing,
disappearing, body, body, including your head and every part of you, disappearing, disappearing, all your organs in your body, your heart, liver, kidneys, spleen, pancreas, intestines, all the blood, everything inside your body, disappearing, disappearing, and lastly, all the bones in your body, all the bones throughout your body, disappearing, disappearing,
