Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland and this is Sleep Hypnosis Weekly. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. I'm going to ask you in a second to close your eyes.
But before you do so, please get yourself comfortable. If you're lying down on a bed, maybe sitting in a comfortable chair that supports your body. I'm going to ask you to close your eyes.
Count from 10 down to 1. So count, close your eyes now, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Now open your eyes again. Just noticing how your body feels. Noticing if you've got any different sensations, relaxation, maybe tiredness.
And close your eyes again. Again counting from 10 down to 1, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Now open your eyes again. Noticing first of all, how much more relaxed you feel than you did before.
And how when you count down, the next time from 10 to 1, with your eyes closed, you may notice more of that relaxation through your body and mind. Another thing that you may be noticing is that your eyelids may be feeling heavier to the point where you really don't want to keep them open for any longer than is necessary. So you can go ahead and close them again.
Counting down, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. You can open your eyes again. And every time you go to open your eyes, you may notice that it's a bit harder. It seems to take more effort to open your eyes because they are becoming so heavy and almost accustomed and used to being closed as you count down from 10 to 1. Being aware of how you feel physically relaxed.
Your breathing is lighter. It's almost as if when you breathe you feel more refreshed than before. You can sense the intake of breath moving through your body and relaxing the muscles of your body and breathing out any tension that's left.
Your body now, as you close your eyes again, counting down, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. And with your eyes still closed, notice those parts of your body that are feeling really relaxed. Feeling really relaxed. And you can open your eyes now.
Again, it might be a bit more of a struggle to open your eyes because you really don't want to. You just want to close your eyes again. You want to close your eyes and count down because your eyelids are getting heavy.
You just want to close them because you know that when you do close them you get to count down from 10 to 1 and your body and your mind will relax even more deeply. So close your eyes now. And this time we're going to count from 20 down to 1. 20 19 18 17 16 15 14 13 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 And with your eyes still closed, again noticing the level of relaxation that you are experiencing.
You can really notice your eyelids feeling so comfortable, so relaxed and heavy. It's almost as if that feeling of deep relaxation that can lead to deep healing sleep starts with that sensation of heaviness and comfort in your eyelids. And every time, as I'm sure you've noticed, every time you close your eyes again after having them opened, after me asking you to open them and then you closed them again, you feel even more relaxed.
It's almost like you go down another 2 or 3 levels of relaxation. Moving closer to that sense of drifting to sleep. And you really don't want to open your eyes again.
I'm going to ask you to do that anyway. But the next time I ask you to close your eyes, we're going to count down from 30 down to 1. And each number leads you even deeper as you let go of every thought from your mind, letting go of every piece of stress or tension from your body. Letting go completely of everything.
So I'd like you to open your eyes again now. And immediately you'll notice your eyelids just want to close again. And you may even struggle to open your eyes fully because of your eyelids wanting to stay closed.
And the more you want to just close your eyes, the more I'd like you to try and keep them open just for a few more seconds. Knowing that the heavier eyelids become, the deeper, deeper relaxed and the deeper sleep you'll experience when you do close your eyes. Close them now.
Counting down from 30 down to 1. Each number sending you even deeper into so relaxed and so sleepy. Now, 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 18, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, Experiencing that relaxation throughout your mind and body. I'm going to ask you to open your eyes again.
And when you open them, if you can open them, notice how difficult it is for you when your eyelids feel so heavy. And you may find that you just can't open them. And that's okay.
It's absolutely fine to leave them closed if you choose. Because that means that you really are deeply relaxed, deeply sleepy. And you may already be drifting, drifting into a deep healing sleep.
And for those that can open your eyes, I want you to get prepared to close them one last time. Those that already have their eyes closed, I'm going to count down this time from 50 down to 1. 50 down to 1. And each number you hear me say, cause you to feel 10 times as relaxed, 10 times as sleepy. Close your eyes if they're not already closed.
Counting down from 50 all the way down to 1. 50, 49, 48, 47, 46, 45, 44, 43, 42, 41, 40, 40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 35, 34, 32, 31, 29, 28, 19, 18, 17, 15, 14, 12, 4, 2, 1.
