Hello and welcome to Jason Newland.com. My name is Jason Newland. This is daily hypnosis session. My stomach is making some noises for some reason.

I thought I'd just explain what the weird sound was. Sometimes sounds like there's a band setting up. You know that sound of like a drum set being put together and the guitar like a testing you know tuning his guitar up or her guitar up.

Anyway I only listen to this when you can safely close your eyes and there isn't really anything for you to do. You can just focus on my voice, focus on my words, focus on how you feel right now because I'm interested in knowing what you're thinking when you press the play button on this and any other recordings of mine. Are you hoping to fall asleep? Are you expecting to fall asleep because the last time you listened to me you fell asleep therefore this time you're listening to me.

It makes sense that you would also fall asleep it's just logical maybe you're listening to this and when you press the play button you're thinking to yourself I'm going to listen to this because since you've been listening to me you've found that falling asleep is so much easier it feels so much more natural when you lay down on your bed your head touches the pillow your body gets heavy and your mind starts to slow down and when you realize that there may be other benefits to listening to me every day you can feel more relaxed

every day you can experience more of a sense of who you are every day you can feel in tune really feel in tune with your emotions every day you can enjoy feeling confident that you will just naturally fall asleep when you lay down on your bed your head touches the pillow your body automatically feels heavy and your mind starts to empty and with your mind it's a little bit like the end of the day in your house maybe we should go around turning off equipment maybe the laptop turning off the television turning off the lights

maybe turning off the heating in a sense just shutting down your home for the night you may have one light on I do I always leave one light on that's a personal choice I leave the bathroom light on because it helps me aim when I'm half asleep when I wake up for a week and it's that feeling after waking up walking into the bathroom taking my aim and then walking back into the bedroom laying down on my bed my head touching the pillow my body becomes naturally heavy and I seem to just fall asleep instantly

instantly and once I'm there there's nothing for you to do but just allow yourself to feel relaxed allow yourself to allow yourself to feel calm and I quite like that example of maybe waking up in the night and then going back to sleep instantly because actually the reality is that to stay awake at that point would take a lot of energy a lot of willpower because you don't want to get out of bed you want to just stay there you're comfortable you're relaxed so to get out would take all the willpower that you have because

you'd be trying to will yourself you'd be trying to force yourself to wake up and get out of bed but as we know that doesn't help and when you try to force yourself to be awake it doesn't help you to be awake or to get out of bed in the same way you can't force yourself to feel sleepy you can't force yourself to fall asleep you can't will yourself to drift off naturally because it's a natural process all you can do is allow it to happen you can't force it to happen it's like trying to

force yourself to go to sleep it's like walking up to a tree and demanding that it starts juggling for you you can stand there for as long as you like you can chuck as many balls and eggs and stittles and skittles whatever at that tree but it won't juggle for you you can have any and all emotions it won't make any difference because that tree will not juggle for you in the same way as you shouting shouting at a baby to stop crying that's not gonna work trying to force yourself to go to sleep would

be the exact i'll tell you what it'd be exactly the same as me making a relaxation recording where i sit here and i shout at the top of my voice and i swear and i curse and i'm just i'm abusive verbally so i go to sleep and i shout for 20 minutes or relax relax you're not gonna feel relaxed you're not gonna feel tired you will have certain emotions but they won't be the ones that i perhaps had started out you know with the intention of causing a certain response so i'm shouting at you it's

not going to cause relaxation in the same way thinking that you can force yourself to fall asleep doesn't work and hypnosis isn't about forcing anything because you always have a choice always have a choice no one can make you do anything because you always have a choice and it's up to you what you choose to choose to do and you may choose to decide to choose to listen to my words and to absorb my words and realize that actually falling asleep or just sleeping generally is the most natural thing in the world and it isn't

really a big deal the process is not a big deal the bigger the deal you make it the harder you make it so it's about relaxing into yourself giving yourself an easy time enjoying the moment and enjoying the process enjoying the process of letting go naturally and this is all about natural just being yourself relaxing into yourself letting go feeling calm feeling relaxed calm and relaxed calm and relaxed
