Right, well, my name is Jason Newland and please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. Wow, don't I sound young today? I sound so young and fresh and virile and I'm neither of those things. So, yeah, where do I start? I think I should start probably by addressing... Where is it? Let's go to my page.

See, Juicy JJ is my maiden name before I got married. I'm not married, why am I saying that? It's my DJ name. So, Mike posted, I'm sure he's taking a much needed break as we know he's been having some struggles lately.

Take your time, Jason, I know we all love you. So thank you to everyone that read that and sort of liked it or whatever. I'll discuss this a little bit, I won't go into major detail unless I can find a way to make it funny, then I will.

So before I go any further, Ben has already posted a Q&A for tomorrow, but it's Q&A Friday again tomorrow. So if you've got any questions, please, I will post something probably after I've posted this recording. So I'm doing this, it's 21 minutes past seven, but I'm going to also edit and post it tonight, Thursday, the 27th of June.

So it's quite weird, I haven't made a new recording since last Friday. So that's a bit strange, it's the longest I've gone for a while. So if you've got any questions, just please post it on the Jason Newland's Boring Group.

And I've been creating a lot of videos the last week. So I haven't been completely doing nothing, but I just haven't been able to really do the recordings. Trying to think what else to say.

What other introductions do I do? That's it, isn't it really? It's been a weird, a weird, has it been a weird week? I think it's been, yeah, it's been a weird week for a couple of reasons. Is I kind of broached upon this subject in the past, how I was trying to help out a neighbour and it's just got expensive. And they last Thursday, I think it was last Thursday, they were like texting me.

Please lend me this money and you'll have it on tomorrow morning. You'll have it and all that stuff. And it kept on and on and on.

And even in the end, I said, OK. And I had like 67 pound out of me or something. I didn't pay it back.

And it's not just because it left me, I needed that money, you know, to get me through. It's not just that I had to get a bit of help from another someone else, which is weird. It wasn't just that.

It was just left a bad kind of feeling. Well, more than a bad feeling. It was a real, yeah, it's just difficult.

And the same person still been asking for money throughout the week as well, including today. And I tried to explain that I got no money and no matter how, what you text or what different things you say, it's not going to change the fact that I've got no money to lend or to give. It's weird.

This is I've never quite been in this situation before. I'd be, yeah, I mean, even my friend downstairs, if like, if he needed money, like, if you ain't got it, you ain't got it. And some people would ask, because I've got some money now.

Are you sure? Are you sure? But it lasts maybe a couple of minutes and then it'd go away. This goes on for hours, because by text, someone that lives local, like, well, you, it's worn me down. It's just worn me down.

This like constantly asking, even like asking for four pound. And like, well, I haven't got any money. Do you not understand? There's nothing in the account.

And it's, yeah, it's weird. It's a weird, weird situation because I've never done that to anyone. I've had help in the past.

When I was younger, I used to had a friend that I used to borrow money off. But that was, I mean, that was before even bank transfers were a thing. He used to send me cash in the post or send me 10 quid or something because I didn't have enough money for food.

There was little things like that. I was never, wasn't constantly, just, I don't know. So it hit me a little bit.

And it wasn't just that. So I quite liked this person and I thought that she liked me and I'd helped her out. Not expecting anything in return, just trying to help her out and that.

I've kind of given it a lot of thought. And I think the reason, a lot of the reasons, a few reasons why I've kind of got myself into this situation. Firstly, it's because I'm desperate.

No, no. The first one is because I'm used to looking out for the person that lives in that flat. I've been doing that for nearly a decade, especially the last five years.

You know, more than anything. So I just naturally, there's like, it's almost like the, it's lubricated. The wheels is, you know, it's a sort of natural process for me to just to help that person, even though it's a different person.

But they live in there. And I tried to help her get set up and try to help her when she first moved in a little bit. And it's, it's strange.

Just, just, and then I realized that the reason I went so, I'm not going to talk about this all the time, don't worry. It's just a quick, a quick update. And the reason why I had such a drop in energy, let's say, or mood is because during those few weeks, and it's probably when I was doing loads of recordings as well.

I was getting her stuff and I was helping her. It was almost, I was on a, not manic, but manic-ish, manic-ish, a high. And that feeling's just a really nice feeling.

It's a buzz. Helping people is the thing that really gives me a high, gives me a buzz or whatever. I suppose dopamine or, wonder if dopamine, it'd be dope, dope, is it? Whatever it is, whatever the chemical is from the brain.

So, but then there was the crash, there was the, like, afterwards, what have I done? Well, not, I don't regret helping anyone ever, but if you give someone to something and they keep asking for more and more and more and more, and maybe, maybe that's me, maybe that's what I do. Some people might think, yeah, but you do that because you're always asking for PayPal gifts. More and more, it's never enough, it's never enough.

Never enough with you, more, more, just so we can buy you a yacht. Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm, that's what I'm aiming for. Maybe, maybe I've been like that in the past.

Maybe when I was younger, I was more of a taker than a giver, as it were. I don't feel I'm like that now, but yeah, so maybe this is my karma. Maybe this is just, surely I haven't, surely, all these years, that's enough, isn't it, really? You know, I, I had this, this is my plan.

When both the flats downstairs were empty, or no, no one lived in them, and my friend passed away, I decided I was going to have nothing to do with anyone else that moved in there, other than hello, you know, just being friendly, but not getting involved in their lives. Like, at all. And that went down the drain pretty much straight away, because a person had moved in downstairs, and I had to call an ambulance for her, and it just turned out she's a really nice person, and I've got on really well with her, but she doesn't ask me for anything, so it's cool.

And then the other person moved in, and what was happening is people were kind of turning, because she had a dog, and people were turning against her, like, because of the dog she had, and I kind of came to her defence a little bit, it's like, she just moved in, give her a break, let her find her feet, you know, like, everyone's, all the cat owners were moaning, people were putting letters through her door, you know, calling out the council, the police came around, everything, because saying that her dog was attacking cats,

which it hadn't, chased a couple of cats, but Vinnie does that, it's just, it's a dog thing, and it's not, it's not great for the cat, or the cat owner, I know, and that's why I generally don't let Vinnie off the lead when he's in the garden.

But I felt she needed someone in her corner, so I got into her corner, and I got her, I managed to get her talking to some of the other neighbours, so they could realise that she's a nice person, and all that, you know, and it seemed to be going okay, it's just, you know, she's got problems and everything, and it just seems that all the neighbours have got problems, and I try not to get involved, but it's hard sometimes, and taking on other people's emotional issues is, it's just,

it's a little bit too much for me now, and there's a reason I'm not a counsellor now, I used to be, but there's a reason I can't do that kind of work, it's not because I was no good, that's part of the reason, that's the number one reason, I was rubbish at it, but I think I was fairly good, and I couldn't do it, I couldn't just leave it in the room, and go home, and be fine, it was too much for me, it was, I didn't,

I kind of thought it might be the case, you know, years ago, when I even considered doing counselling, I thought, well, perhaps I should just get my own counselling, and when that's completed, when that, see, I can even see the funny side of that, when all my therapy's completed, then I'll be perhaps ready to learn to be a therapist, but, you know, I don't think if I did therapy, I've done a lot of therapy, had a lot of therapy on myself, it's never going to be completed, but at the same time,

some people are quite negative when it comes to the idea of the healing, the wounded healer, because otherwise it's going to cause other people problems, it's going to be damaging to the person they're trying to help, well, in that case, there would be no counsellors, I don't think, I've met a lot of counsellors, you know, being in the profession for a few years, all of them, in fact, all human beings, basically, have got a lot of stuff in the past, and they're counsellors for a reason, it's not because they want to earn lots of money,

because there is no lots of money in it, not in this country, anyway, there are some that can earn a lot of money, I guess, if they, if those to counsel celebrities, you know, work out of Harley Street or something like that, but generally, you know, if you could even get any kind of money at all, you're lucky, you know, there's a lot of volunteer work that's available, yay, do a three-year degree, and you can work for nothing if you like, can I really?

So, in fact, that is what I was like, I was so happy to get my voluntary work, my voluntary job as a counsellor, when I just, you know, it just, it's weird, isn't it?

But then I've never really been money orientated, otherwise I would have money, I guess, I suppose, I mean, even the sales jobs I had, it was about, the only thing that I enjoyed about that was being good at it, I didn't necessarily enjoy the job, and it was way too stressful for me, but I like to be, to find something that I was good at, because that was the first time I'd ever done, I never, never found anything that I was any good at before, so it was almost like a first,

and I was, what, 31 before that happened, so I was quite pleased, I was 30 actually, because I had to have a sales job as well, I think he's in a bedroom, by the way, because he just, he is really, really winding me up at the moment, keeps barking, like at night as well, because the problem is, everyone's, because it's fairly warm at the moment, there's a lot of people with their windows open, so he's hearing stuff that he doesn't normally hear, and he's just like, last night, every 20 minutes,

he just started barking, like every time, I just, I say every time, but I just get myself to sleep, it was, yeah, I ended up getting up for a while, because it was just, because you know, the later it is, the better it is, once you get to early hours of the morning, it's usually okay, but I don't go to bed early hours of the morning, I go to bed, generally, I'm in bed by about 10 o'clock, maybe 11 sometimes, sometimes even 9, you know what I mean,

so I also realised, I spoke about this before, I really, really, really struggled to say no, it's one of the hardest things, and I never used to have that problem before, I never had that problem before I moved here, maybe it's just because nobody asked me for anything, perhaps that's why, isn't it weird though, when I was working, and I had money, no one asked me for anything, now I'm unemployed, and I ain't got nothing really, people are asking me for stuff, but if I'd been working, you know,

going back a few years, if I'd have been working, and a neighbour said, oh, can you lend me £67, and they hadn't paid back any other, any other money that they'd borrowed, which they'd promised to pay back, I would have just laughed at them, because if I lent them £10 and didn't pay it back, that's it, I'd never lend them anything else again, and generally, when people borrow money, in my experience, it's something that happens maybe once, twice, during a friendship, it's not something that happens every week, every month,

every few days, so that's not kind of normal, is it, for someone to keep asking to borrow money, unless it's just me, maybe my life experience, I had this before, back in 1995, I lived with a gambler, I lived in a house with a constant wanting to borrow money, and you know, that was just, but even then, it was a lot less than here, and he was a prolific gambler, like, you know, really, really bad, yet he didn't ask to borrow money as often as the people that live around here,

so it's weird, so hey, I said no, I keep saying no now, and you know, got to the point where I was like, you've been asking, let's see, how long did this conversation go on for, I'm not going to read it out, because it's private, but I will, let's have a look, how long did it go on for, okay, okay, okay, so I bought her a bottle of coke, I didn't buy it for her, I actually, I got a meal deal in the garage, you get a packet of crisps,

a sandwich and a drink, I got her a bottle of coke, so she could have the drink, I don't drink coke anymore, so I've got loads of water, so I'll just have the water or a cup of tea, so I left it outside, I think, and I just put, I left the coke outside your front door, because she was asking me yesterday, if I'd go and get some, and I didn't have any money, so I said no, I kept saying, that went on for ages as well, that was at 10.44,

and 1.20 was the end of the conversation, I mean, it just went on, and it was, I'm trying to think, okay, yeah, I can't really tell you what was said, but it's just hard, can you hear Vinnie there, doesn't help that the neighbours are calling him, so the windows open in the bedroom, he's on the windowsill, and the people in the garden, are actually talking to him, which he's loving, but at the same time, he wants to go out there and be with them, and now he's making loads of noise,

hopefully it will be quiet in a minute, oh, there's a dog over there as well, that he talks to, so yeah, it's, that's just what I've been dealing with, and last, the last week, it's hit me a little bit, last night, it just, I feel, I feel bad about, when I keep saying no, I feel bad at the end of it, just, yesterday, just kept asking for money, and that was yesterday, okay, what time did that start, when did they ask for money, okay, I haven't got,

I only got the time of when it starts, and when it ends, this morning, so yeah, oh well, so hopefully, I can't block, I don't want to block anyone, because, you know, we live in the same area, and I don't want to be rude or anything, and I don't want to be rude to anyone, you know, I just want everyone to get on with each other and stuff, if possible, and, it just gets a little bit, a bit too much, especially as I wasn't even able to do some of the things this week that I needed to do,

and last night, was it last night, or was it the night before, I was really feeling sorry for myself, but for some reason, I'm feeling better now, I was, I felt much better this morning when I woke up, and then the whole thing started again, and then I perked up a bit, I feel not good, but I feel a lot more positive than I would have done, had I posted money, had I sent money, I haven't got any money to send, I've got, now what's the date, 26th today,

and it's Thursday, on Monday, so I got paid today, but most of the money's gone out already, and I bought some food, so I spent £86 on food, got that delivered today, and there is, yeah, so I've got a fair bit of going out on the 1st, so on the Monday, which is the 1st of July, there's, there's all the new stuff, all the, like the, blimey, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6 direct debits go out on the Monday, so yeah, it's so easy, like, yeah, I've got enough there,

take that, but then they don't pay it back, and then I can't pay my bills, so, it's really hard, I'm so weak, I didn't used to be like this, I wasn't this, it might not sound like I'm nice, but I didn't used to be like this, you know, when I lived in London, I'm not saying I was tough, but with stuff like this I was, I didn't lend no one anything, yeah, I didn't, just I had to take care of myself, didn't have anyone to rely on, and I still don't,

you know, I get benefits, but I don't have any people, you know, humans that I can kind of ask for help in an emergency, so it's, which is kind of normal, you know, I didn't, if I'd have, you know, if I'd have built a family and kids, and I could ask my kids for help, couldn't I, but, you know, if I had a, if I kept in more contact, I don't know, who knows, my brother should send me money, I should be on an allowance, I should still get pocket money,

that's what I think, you know, my nan used to give me money, even like, not, not, well, she's not here anymore, but even in 2004, seriously, when I was 33 years old, she still used to give me five pound, not every week, but when I'd go to see, she'd, there you go, take that, like, oh nan, and I'd, she'd just, just put it in my hand, like, oh nan, so I'd, she'd go, take it, just take it, and I'd look at her and say, five pounds, is that all,

I thought it was a 20, and she'd, she'd hit me with a rolling pin, what was weird is, she used to do it so no one could see, so I think when my grandad was there, she used to, like, put it in my hand secretly, kind of like, don't anyone know you've, I've given this to you, like, this is when I was, I don't know, 16, 17 and stuff, like, okay, I needed it then as well, but anyway, here's me moaning, it's only going to take five minutes, and I'm still,

is it moaning, I don't think it's moaning, just being truthful, and tomorrow I'll be all jolly, and I'll be talking about my, whatever Q&A's, whatever questions I get, I'll be doing all that, and that'll be lovely, that'll be ever so groovy, oh yes, that's what I'm going to be doing, so that's it really, I just, no, just regarding that stuff, that's, that's what I've been, kind of, so you can hear the background noise, I've, you can probably hear it slightly, it's not as loud to you as it is to me,

because I've, because my ears, but I've got my head sticking out the window, that's why, but the microphone is faced to me, if it was facing to them, you could hear it, and you wouldn't be able to hear me, they're literally about a foot away from each other, shouting, it's like, just talk, just talk, I'm talking, just, just quieter, I don't know, but I get, the thing is, I get on really well with both, whoever's shouting, I get on well with them anyway, so I'm not bothered, but you keep mentioning it,

I know, it is sometimes, I'm trying to make a recording, I kind of would like everyone just to stop talking for an hour, which isn't very realistic, you know, I'm aware of that, I'm aware that other people's lives are not based around what I do, it should be, obviously, but it's not, it's not, so my plan going forward is to keep saying no to anyone that asks to borrow money, it's almost like I move in here, and there's a sign on my door, the council tell the new tenants, oh,

emmet number, whatever, if you ever need some money, he'll lend you money, but I can't anymore, I never used to either, I never could, because I changed, when I moved in, I changed everything, I opened myself up to being friendly to the neighbours, generally, I have very little to do with neighbours, I'll say hello, but that's kind of it, you know, this time, I've got to know people in the past, but this time, I actually made an effort, I made an effort, I knocked on people's doors, hello, my name's Jason,

what's your name, should we be best buddies, you know, that kind of stuff, and I got to know people, and I just, the problem really, I didn't have any issues with, I've helped out everyone in this building at different times, either financially, or just helping them with different things, you know, whether it's their getting a lock smith, or just different bits and bobs over the years, but the only person that really, that was really my friend downstairs, it was wasn't really just, it was him, but a lot of his friends took advantage of me,

just would continuously ask for stuff, you know, just non-stop, once someone found out I used to drink coke, which I did used to drink quite a bit of coke, have you got any spare cokes, have you got a can of coke, because I guess my friend must have told them, or perhaps they saw when they came in here, that I used to stockpile, so I'd have, you know, 10, 10 packs of coke, all piled up in the, in the, in the kitchen, all stacked, and god, those, those were the days,

I used to stockpile stuff, I don't stockpile anything anymore, I'm always right just to the, about to run out of stuff nowadays, blimey, I was so like, I want to do something, I want to do it different, I want to try to be nicer, be more neighbourly, that was my plan, and it, some would argue it backfired, didn't really go very well, but on the same side, on a flip side maybe, I think that I've been quite a good neighbour, too good a neighbour I suppose in some ways,

but with my friend downstairs, I ended up being a neighbour to all his friends, some that didn't even live anywhere near here, and I was the, I was the easy touch, or the light touch upstairs, the mug, basically the mug who could be manipulated, and I let people knock on the door, saying the most stupidest things, like, you know, just the most ridiculous stories, saying they need £10 or £20, when what they need the money is for is to buy drugs, if they were just honest, I had one person did come up here once,

he said, I won't lie to you, I want to buy some drugs, he didn't say that, but he, what he wanted to buy is, I want to get that, can you lend me the money or not, he didn't pay it back, of course he didn't, very few people have ever paid me back, and what is weird is once my friend downstairs, he came up here with his friend on the phone, saying, oh can you help him out, can you lend him some money, and I said, no, he hasn't, he didn't,

he didn't pay me the money I borrowed off him last time, because he stayed here for about a week, and I spent about £100, I gave him about £100 money, cash, and I basically fed him for a week, or gave him food anyway, didn't feed him completely, but he was up here every day asking for food, never paid it back, he said he was going to pay it back, and he didn't, and then in the end I said, we'll just keep it, I don't care, because it was winding me up,

the only reason it wound me up, because I liked him, I actually thought he was like a friend, you know, because yeah, it doesn't matter anyway, but he's on the phone, I said to my friend, no, he didn't pay me back, he only said it to him, on the phone, yeah, you owe him money, so he's not giving you anything, so the bloke on the phone said, oh, that was ages ago, that was years ago, which it was, does that make any difference, is there a statute of limitation or something,

like, you ripped me off, it's like, you know, dented and smashed up, and it cost me two grand to repair it, but because it's been five years, you now want to borrow my new car, and I should let you borrow it, because it's five years ago, the last time you borrowed it, and that, no, you're never going to lend that person a car for the rest of eternity, are you, obviously, oh, shouldn't, anyway, but this is just me moaning, isn't it, blindly, all you're doing is moaning, all the blooming time,

moan, moan, moan, it is weird though, I do find it strange, how it's all, how things come together, and I do, I don't know, maybe it's constantly trying to figure myself out, and try and also find meaning in what I'm doing, and is there a point to what I'm doing, because, you know, I've got this like, I've got this thing I like to say to myself, I like to say out loud as well sometimes, is even though I'm not contributing to maybe the local economy, or even local society, I'm contributing,

contribute, if I say the word, I'm contributing towards, you know, people around the world, so maybe not anyone in my local area, but I'm contributing by doing what I do online, so yeah, I'm not going out to work every day, and all that stuff, but I am still, in my own way, contributing, and reaching quite a few people along the way, but sometimes I think, is it really, is it, their voices out there just grind me, I'm sorry, can't imagine having to listen to that, honestly, that'd be torture,

imagine being stuck in a room, and just have that being played to you all the time, that just, maybe that's what this is, there's probably a podcast screeching, two people screeching at each other, what's weird is, I've seen them, they walk back, and end up being about 20 foot from each other, and they're still the same volume as they were when they were face to face, it's weird, strange, so anyway, I'm just being silly, fog horns, yeah, so that's it really, I'm just, I'm trying to think of things to look forward to,

so there's a few things I've got to look forward to, and there is my course, my degree starts in October, providing I have, you know, the funding comes through, which is no reason why it shouldn't really, but, because I tick the boxes, and everything's fine, I've gone through it with them on the phone as well, so it should all be absolutely fine, so hopefully, yeah, hopefully that'll be fine, that'll be good, so I'll start that, and I've got, I'm just trying to think what else is there, so we've got boxing,

there's nothing that I necessarily want to watch anytime soon, but there is, what's Saturday, oh blimey, right, so there's a big, big one coming up, and it is 6th of July, okay, blimey, it's nearly July already, wow, the, oh come on, where is it, there's a big, it was just announced, actually I think it's September, it's going to be, so it might not be on here, but there's a big thing coming on in September, which I'm looking forward to, and it's another Riyadh, but it's in Wembley, but it's basically part of the Riyadh season,

where Dubai have put on these shows, and they're the biggest boxing shows there's ever been, not the biggest, I mean, not the biggest, I don't know, what about the Ali, Thriller in Manila, and the Rumble in the Jungle, no, not bigger than those, what about the, what about Leonard Hagler then, what about Hagler Hearns, no, not bigger than those either, I'm not saying they're bigger than those fights, because, what about, what about Mayweather and the Irish bloke MMA fire, no, obviously Conor McGregor, not bigger than Namiga, because they were huge,

massive, worldwide phenomenon fights, but the reason they're bigger, it's the biggest that this country's ever had, is very simply because of the number of fights that's on there, that are really, I mean, most of them are headline fights, so the Riyadh season, the Dubai, the fights that have been put on in the last few months, since December, I think, December up till now, there's been three, I think, three, there was a or was it four, wait a minute, Tyson Fury against Nganu, then, I'm trying to think, Andy Joshua against Nganu,

that's two, then there is Tyson Fury against, what's his name, Usyk, was that in, was that in London, blimey, I can't even remember, wow, so I think that was part, no, that was in, that was in Dubai, so Tyson Fury against Usyk, so that's three, and there was a five plus five, and also, yeah, so that was, that was four, so there's been four huge shows in Dubai, since December, and now the Riyadh season, this they call it, I don't even know what that means, is they are taking,

they're doing two huge shows out of, out of Dubai, so one's going to be in England, at Wembley Stadium, and the other one is going to be in America, okay, so 27th of July, Joe Joyce and Cesaro, so I'll definitely be watching that, but I can't because it's on TNT Sports, they price themselves out of it, so annoying, I mean, used to be in the old days, well, I don't know, you know, I'm just going to go on about the old days, it's annoying, Pacquiao, he's got a fight in the 28th of July,

why, probably, maybe it's just, oh, August the 3rd, Crawford, so Do World to vacant Do Interim World Junior Midnight, okay, so Crawford's going up in weight, he's fighting, yeah, a bloke called Madrimov, Madrimov, so, I don't know, is he the champion, is Madrimov the champion, I don't know, Madrimov, okay, so he's the ring number three, so it is for, it's for a world title anyway, the WBO Super World to weight, imagine, so he's 10, he's got one draw on 10 wins, and Crawford's got 40 wins, Crawford's pretty much pound for pound the best in the world,

I mean, some would argue, you know, there are others that would be up there, some would argue about Monster, Inouye, ah, I think this, is this the one, is this the one that's going to be the American fight, I think this might be it, yeah, Anderson, Bacote, I think this is the fight, the fight, it's, this is the August the 3rd, I think this is the Riyadh season one in America, so there's, you've got, yeah, I'm just looking, because of the amount of fights that are on air,

I remember that because it was December the 23rd, so it was something to look forward to, but I was in quite a weird state, because it was literally, that was an exact month since my friend left, and it was, I was really looking forward to it, but the good thing about it, it was the upsets, the people that should have won didn't, well some, some did, so for example, Arsene Nebek Makaduhov versus Ajit Kabayel, so Arsene Nebek is an absolute monster of a man, and I really thought he was going to go on to win the world title,

because he was, he was the most intimidating boxer, he was the most intimidating heavyweight out there, just the way he looked, the way he acted, just almost growling, you know, before getting, as he was waiting to fight, but anyway, he got beaten by Ajit Kabayel, I think it got stopped, so he got beaten, Philip Hergovich, he won his fight, everyone expected to do that, Jai Apataya, he won his fight, and he's kind of the best in a cruiserweight division, apparently wants to go up into heavyweight and fight Isik,

Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker really were the two standouts of this night, because Daniel Dubois fought Jarrell Miller, unbeaten, absolute mountain of a man, and Dubois, where he got stopped, Dubois won, got stopped, and that was Dubois making his comeback, and since that fight, Dubois on the next one, Dubois fought Philip Hergovich, so Dubois was the underdog against Jarrell Miller, Jarrell Miller was supposed to fight Anthony Joshua a few years ago, but he failed a drug test, but he's still unbeaten, well he was unbeaten at that point,

and then Daniel Dubois fought Philip Hergovich, who was the number one for the IBF title, he was first in line, no one I don't think expected Daniel Dubois to beat him, and he did, he got stopped, so that's two fights in a row, and then earlier this week, Isik vacated the IBF heavyweight belt, and because Daniel Dubois was, he held the interim IBF title, he got the belt, so he's now the IBF heavyweight champion of the world, and he fights Joshua in September, I think, Anthony Joshua for that title,

which is kind of weird because that's how it all started with Joshua, he won the IBF to start with, and then he went on, you know, to win some of the other titles, well most all the other titles except one, the WBC is the only title that Joshua didn't win, so Daniel Dubois is now the IBF heavyweight champion in the world, and he was already booked to fight Anthony Joshua, and they were basically fighting to be the number one, even though Daniel Dubois was already number one,

and the reason why they do the interim belt, sometimes they do it if a boxer's ill, and they can't box maybe for a year or whatever, sometimes if the boxers, their champion rather, the world champion is injured, or maybe going through a bereavement, maybe having legal issues, whatever it could be, and then unable to get into the ring, providing they pay the sanctioning fees, and everyone's happy, they can keep their belt sometimes for a couple of years, and the person who has the interim title is kind of the,

almost like the standing champion, I'm explaining this for people that don't know what it is, so it's kind of like they're the, I guess a little bit like, is it McClellan, or whatever his name is, who fell off the stage last week, not Helen, he was, wasn't he a wizard or something, someone, and no, I don't know, maybe that's not the right person, there was a famous actor who was on stage last week, well then he was off stage, and he fell off, and he's like in his 80s or something,

or 103, and so the next night got cancelled I think, but then the understudy has gone on to continue, because they don't want to cancel the whole show, so the understudy, so it's almost like an understudy, kind of, so it's the person, or you could say it's a person that the champion should be fighting, the person that the champion has to defend their title against, they're next in line, but because the champion is not fighting, then they get the interim belt, now in this case of Usyk, because he was stuck,

well he signed himself into a contract, a two-fight deal with Tyson Fury, he, it was already talked about that it was very rare to get all the belts, to fight for all the belts, you know, it hasn't happened for I think 25 years, so it happened with Tyson Fury and Usyk a couple of weeks back, three or four weeks or whatever, blimey time goes by doesn't it, a few weeks ago, and Tyson Fury lost on points, or Usyk won on points, however you want to look at it,

they've got a date to fight again in December, and but this time, what it won't be for all the belts, because what I think Usyk, well I know, Usyk would have to pay the sanctioning fees for that belt, and he might also have to, I don't know what the rules are, but sometimes they have to pay money to the next, the person, they have to pay that person money to stand aside, so they can fight and defend that belt, you know, let's say in Usyk's thing, they can defend the belt against Tyson Fury,

because it's such a huge fight, so they, and there was one time, I can't remember who it was, but there was a challenger, there was like a really big fight going on, and they wanted to unify the belts, but there was a challenger that was next in line, and the champion wanted to fight someone else, because it's a much bigger fight, and it's a unification fight, something like that, I can't remember who it was, but the challenger got paid a million pound just to stand aside, I think it happened with,

his name's gone out of my head, Joe, Joe, his name, his name's Joe isn't it, Joseph Parker, Joe, anyway, anyways, the, the, why is this, I can see his face, well I can't see his face, but in my brain I can see his face, it's gone out of my head for a minute, it's all these different names I'm trying to kind of remember, so Joseph Parker, he'll come to me in a minute, he, he got beat and then he came back, and he had ironically the same person that beat Dubois,

so Dubois came back and won, won the world title, it wasn't the super version, but it was still a world title, so he's now a two-time world heavyweight champion, Dubois is not, he's not got a credit for that to be fair, but he should, and then he came back, so he did that, and then he did lose, he, he fought against Usyk to fight for the unified champ, all the titles, apart from one that Tyson Fury has, and he lost that one, but he made a good showing of himself,

and it's the best I've ever seen Joseph Parker, at least that's what I thought, until the next fight he had was against Big Bang Zhang, the Chinese giant, he did exactly the same thing to him, and arguably, a lot of people like to say other things, but arguably Big Bang Zhang and Wilder, the two biggest punchers in the heavyweight division, not the best fighters necessarily, not the fastest either, like as far as they don't do that much, but when they hit someone they, they hit them proper, you know,

it's kind of over and done with, Joseph Parker did a number on both of them, back to back, and that wasn't supposed to happen, it just wasn't, that really tore up the thing, and Daniel Dubois did exactly the same thing, two fights in a row, both on the same bills as each other, and Daniel Dubois did Miller, and then he also went against, blimey, this is terrible isn't it, Daniel Dubois, I think he, didn't he do the same against, did he do the same against Wilder, no, oh blimey,

when the person, or Big Bang Zang, had knocked out Joe Joyce twice, and Joe Joyce knocked out Joseph Parker, but Joseph Parker absolutely went to town on the Big Bang, and the Big Bang is by far, he bangs much bigger than, he's a bigger banger, that's what I'm saying, so, and then, and then, the latest installment, Wilder and the Big Bang Zang fought each other, in the five against five, so that was a few weeks ago, and that was the two, what was it, the, Lee, Lee, Lee, Lee, Frank Warren,

and Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, from DAZN, and they both went against each other, and Eddie Hearns, so Eddie Hearns, Frank Warren, five against five, so they chose five fighters each to go against each other, they've obviously correct weights and that, so one of those, well, Frank won all five fights, all five, all five, I mean, come on, it was ridiculous, anyway, the Wilder-Hergovich was the top of the bill, even though the original top was supposed to be Bivel fighting against someone else for the light heavyweight championship, all of the belts,

but the other champion got injured, so they, he ended up fighting just another challenger, so he was the top of the bill, and then he got put down to like a couple down, this is a pound for pound fighter, Bivel is like one of the top, he beat Canelo a couple years ago, he's one of the top fighters in the world, and he was below Wilder and Zhang, two fighters that just come off losses, that just seems weird, just seemed weird, I understand why they did it,

because it's hard to compete with two of the biggest heavyweights in the world, you know, like names at the moment, well, Zhang, the Big Bang Zhang, I think most people, I don't know, a lot of people thought Wilder would knock Zhang out, and Zhang has been on his bum, he has been knocked, he has been hurt before, so he's not like indestructible, but to me personally, after seeing what he did to Joe Joyce, nothing would surprise me with that man, he's an absolute, he's just a huge, huge man,

Carlos Takam's, he was first, he came onto my radar for the first time when he fought Anthony Joshua, I think that would be the first one, and that was years ago, years ago, 2000, 2017, so he'd already lost twice to Alexander Povetkin, Joseph Parker, then he lost to Anthony Joshua, and now he's had a world title, he lost to Derek Chisora, he lost to Joseph, Joe, Joe Joyce in 2021, TKO, he lost to Alan Zembeck-Makendov, that's that bloke I told you about earlier, that got beaten by, the other bloke that got beaten,

but he was an absolute, like, very intimidating, but he, anyway, and he lost to him, and then he lost to Martin Bercouli, so he's only, the thing about is, it's not weird, but Carlos Takam, and I think he's getting on a bit, yeah, he's 43, for a boxer, heavyweight you can, you can be a bit older these days, 43 is still, it's a little bit too old to be a boxer, generally, I know some people can pull it off, I'm blimey, yeah, some have gone on winning world titles when they're 48,

so it's possible, 48, that's only young, isn't it, only young, 48 is like a little, little child, so Tony Oka, wow, right, Martin Bercouli, I'm surprised, I actually thought he was, yeah, I'll tell you who should be my favourite heavyweight out of all of them, is Fabio Wardley, Fabio Wardley, he's the best, well, he's my favourite, I'm not saying he's the best, but he's my favourite, and I hope that they, I mean, I don't know, because he's not necessarily signed up with any particular, because I think he's quite a free agent,

so he kind of goes to wherever he wants, but the downside of not being, of not being signed up with, for example, DAZN or Matchroom Boxing or stuff like that, is that maybe you don't get pushed forward, put forward for the really huge events that are going on, and he should be, he should, I mean, he hasn't, he's recovering from his last one, because he, that was a, that was a vicious, vicious punch up, the last one he had, but I'd like to see, I mean, he might not,

he's not quite at the time, if he did a Riyadh season thing, maybe he won't be a headliner, perhaps because of, mind you, it depends who else is on the bill, because he's not quite at world level yet, not world, I mean, world title level, but I don't know, actually, to be honest, he's pretty special.

If you've never seen Fabio Wardley, you check him out on YouTube, he's really good, really good, but he goes into the fight with an injury on his nose that's always there, like it's on the bridge of his nose, and it opens up nearly every fight he has, last time it really opened up, but really, you know, but I think because the referee and everyone watching knew that it was already there and it's always there, they didn't stop the fight.

I've seen fights stopped for a lot less than that in the past, but because he always comes into the ring with that injury on his nose, I don't know if it's healable, if there's any way of fixing it, I don't know, but I would argue, I would argue, I would argue he's the most exciting heavyweight, yeah, at the moment, the most exciting heavyweight, because he always goes in, okay, no, I would say him, it's the new ones, I think some of the new ones are the most exciting, because they've all got,

they're going with bad intentions, a lot of the new ones, I say new, but the up and coming ones, like Fabio, Moses, I forget his surname, and then there's the Romford Bull, Bosch, Big Splash Bosch, I forget his name, so there's those three, and they're all exciting fighters, they're young, they're all young, Fabio's the oldest, I think he's about 26, 27, the others are like early 20s, I think, I think one's even 19, so there's a lot of, they're exciting, I'm not saying the other heavyweights are not exciting,

but there's something almost like they, they're not, they're not careful, you know, which I guess in boxing you perhaps need to be, but it makes very exciting fights, I still love Joe Joyce, but I kind of, I didn't like seeing him get, he has to change what he does, change how he does what he does, because it worked to a degree, and then it didn't, and he came against someone like the Big Bang Zhang, and he got banged, or zanged, and I didn't like seeing that, because I've been a big advocate,

a big fan, advocate, probably not the right word, a big fan of Joe Joyce right from the beginning, in fact right from before he turned professional, when he was in the Olympics, and he won silver, I think, was it silver in the Olympics, I don't even remember what year it was, but I was living here, so I'm guessing 2016, yeah, because he fought, he, yeah, so basically he fought against, what's his name, he was silver, and he lost to Yeko, Yeko, Yeko, Olympic, Tony Yoka, sorry, so he lost to Tony Yoka,

yeah, so that was it, so I've been following him since 2016, so what's that, eight years, mind you he was 30, so he was 30 then, blimey, I don't think it's just because of his boxing, but he's got a really good attitude outside of the ring, he just seems like a really nice person, that makes sense, like just nice, gentle, like Daniel Dubois, he comes across as very gentle outside of the ring, and I quite like that, so that's what I used to like about Frank Bruno,

because not only did he come across as gentle, but he was also funny, and I was a little kid when Frank Bruno was famous, well, when he, I mean, when Frank Bruno first became famous, I was a little kid, that's what I'm trying to say, so he, and then he was a celebrity, he was more famous in some ways to being a celebrity than for being a boxer, he became bigger than the boxing, that's probably not, that doesn't sound right, maybe, but he's here, he was famous,

and not many boxers become celebrities in this country, Ben McGuigan became a celebrity, Chris Eubank became a celebrity, but there's not that many boxers that have gone on, Ricky Hatton became a celebrity, but a lot of boxers, although they might be well known, like Nigel Benn, he was well known, especially in the 90s, everyone pretty much knew who Nigel Benn was, but he wasn't a celebrity, he was a boxer, he was a world champion, and he, he might do interviews, but he wasn't, he wasn't going to go and,

he wasn't prepared to let himself look silly on TV, you know, to sort of, to make money and stuff, he's a very serious, serious kind of person, I kind of got the idea he was when he was a fighter, but Frank Bruno was always very jovial, and he was like a, like a gentle giant, that was how he was kind of portrayed, and he's always kind of, the kind of person you'd like to meet, to sort of get his autograph, when you're a kid, you know, when I was a kid,

like to have met him to get his autograph, and it wasn't because he was a boxer, because I didn't even watch his boxing when I was really young, I wasn't allowed to, because it was on too late, the only fight I ever got to see, that was on late, was the Muhammad Ali against Larry Holmes fight, and the Baron McGregor fight, where he won the world title, that's the only two boxing fights I got to watch, that were on kind of late, I didn't get to,

I used to listen to Frank Bruno fights on the radio, so when he fought Jerry Couture, I listened to that on a radio, I did manage to see him when he fought Wagner at Wembley, I got to watch that, I don't know if it was live, or was it videotaped, and then from then on, I managed to watch most of his fights, anyway, this is only supposed to be a short recording, I don't seem to be able to do small anything these days, maybe, yeah I'm gonna edit it tonight,

like to be picked up, so she picked him up, Vinnie started howling, like crying, because he was so concerned, it seemed he was so concerned about Archie, they were like, like, you know, so I picked Vinnie up, and put him close to Archie, and he started kissing him, and everything was fine then, but he was so concerned about Archie, loves him, I mean he loved Logie, but this is a different level, this is, you know, there's only so much fun you can have with something that's like 10 times bigger than you,

you know, it's like, they couldn't play together, not properly, but Vinnie and Archie together, it's pretty much the same size, and it's a real connection, I do have some film, I did film them together, I'm going to try and maybe make a little video and post it on YouTube, but I don't, it was from a distance, so it wasn't very clear, but yeah, yeah, I'm going to try and do that, anyway, oh dear, by the way, I'm not going to make any more without, without, like long ones, without music,
