Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name's Jason Newland and this is the 10th of June 2024, 19 minutes past 6 p.m. Please only listen when you can safely, safely close your eyes. Oh dear, so I didn't, well actually I did make a recording yesterday, but I didn't publish it because I went on a bit of a rant.

So I was about 45 minutes in and I thought I'm just going to stop this now. It wasn't all a rant but I kind of went off, went off on one. So I decided nah, I won't be uploading that.

And then I went to bed all angry with myself. Ah, so today, well the last couple of days, or the last couple of weeks really, still been working on making and uploading videos of my various recordings. And I don't know if you can hear it but Vinnie's underneath the desk making a lot of noise on one of these bones.

I've now got 616 videos on YouTube. I haven't done a huge amount of them today. I think I've done, uh, blimey, not a lot at all really.

Ten, six, really? No. Uh, right, I think I did 15, I think I've done about 11, which isn't a lot. But I haven't really, really felt it today, you know, I haven't really been, eee, you know, it hasn't really been a mmm day.

A bit like yesterday. However, a neighbour's just phoned me up and told me to come round and collect a meal. They cooked me a dinner.

So that was nice. So I've just gone round there, took Vinnie out for a little run around in their garden. So I've got a roast dinner which definitely will brighten up my body, brighten up my, just to feel better having eaten some cooked food.

So what, I've run out of sugar. Now I know with the pre-diabetic thingy that I've got going on, I need to really, you know, reduce my sugar intake. But I've kind of been forced to do it because I ran out of sugar.

Literally no sugar. And the petrol station's got no sugar. So what I've been doing is having tea without sugar.

And it's another really good thing. If you ever want to give up tea, you know, for whatever reason, maybe you need to, or just want to cut down on the caffeine, because, you know, decaffeinated anything is a bit pointless, isn't it? So, unless of course it isn't. So here's a trick, I didn't realise it before, to cut down on tea, drink it without sugar, or without any kind of sweetener.

Because it's, it's not pleasant. It's just, it's just dirty water now. And yeah, I probably had, I drunk about a third, maybe quarter of the cup.

Because I still was drinking it because I made it. I've had tea without sugar for two days now. That's probably why I'm such a grump.

And it's just not, I'm probably going to end up not drinking tea anymore. And coffee, because I still have my one cup of coffee in the morning. Wow, coffee without sugar is, it's not good.

So I might stop with that. Now with my ready brick, I have dried fruit on my ready bricks, I don't have sugar on there. And I've had, so what I've been doing with any breakfast cereal, I've just been having dried fruit instead of sugar.

And I do feel a bit physically better for not having, for reducing my sugar intake over the last few days, I feel a bit physically better. But I guess it's going to take a while for the, the craving, the sugar craving to leave me. Because I've had no chocolate for about a week.

Just yeah, for whatever reason. So, and I did decide, I stopped eating chocolate altogether once my tooth, when I had my tooth removed in January. And then gradually, bit by bit, I'd go into the, into the petrol station and the chocolate boss would start talking to me and say, Hey, Jay, why don't you take me home with you? And I swear there was a Mars bar dressed up in a skirt and some high heels.

I mean, it was getting silly. So I kind of fell into that trap again. Just one, just one occasionally.

And then they do special deals. If you get two, it works out cheaper than if you get each one individually. I'll get two and maybe have one again tomorrow.

Then the next day. Oh, I think I must have eaten both of them. So yeah, but I haven't had any chocolate for a while.

For, yeah, probably since last weekend, not this weekend. Since, it's a few days. I'm just looking around, see if there's any, there's no chocolate wrappers, but I had a big tidy up.

I see the carpet now. I need a new carpet. I really do.

Andre ruined it. Vinnie's made his mark. And it's frayed.

It's really, you know, it's nine years old, over nine years old, and it's worn out. Very, very worn. So, oh, well, I just found out that my friend's television, my friend downstairs, someone took his television, and the television's been smashed up.

He's had an argument with his girlfriend and the TV's broken. And I thought I've even finished paying for it yet. Wow.

It's never broken. I've never smashed a telly. I think it's pretty easy now with the flat screens.

I remember, you know, the big bulky TVs from like, yesteryear. It's not that long ago, really, but, and they were heavy duty. I remember I was drunk.

This is in the 90s, and I had a little tantrum, and I punched the screen. The TV went nowhere. My hand did not enjoy it.

It was ridiculous. I don't know. I don't know why I did it.

Oh, I tripped accidentally, maybe. No, I punched it. It was a bit of a silly thing to do.

I was only young. I was only 45. So, what else is there? Oh, yeah.

So, if you want to, if you have subscribed to my YouTube channel, thank you, because I've had quite a few new subscribers over the last couple of weeks or a week or whatever. About 87, in fact, new subscribers since, since when? I don't know when. So, what is it? 1,277 now.

1,277. What's the date? The 10th, which means the second would be, okay. I had 1,218 a week ago.

What's that? 18, 28, 38, 48, 58, 68, 78. So, nearly 60 subscribers in the last week. Now, I know it's not the millions that a lot of channels have.

But for me, it's been a nice little surge, a nice little increase, as it were. And yes, it's quite nice because I'm getting, I'm not getting more in an hour than I was getting in a day last month. Because the channel is really going nowhere, like really.

So, I think I proved a little, a little bit of life into it, which is nice. And generally, the most, I'm not gonna use the word popular, because that's not the right word. But the most viewed videos are the ones where I'm on the screen.

Now, some would argue, yes, because you're so sexy, JJ. Yeah, that's, that's a given. But it's, I guess it's just, that's how YouTube is.

People want to see a human, or they want to see a, you know, something on the screen rather than a twirly, swirling image that I'm doing. But it's okay for now. And I will, my plan, and I've already said this before, so I'm just repeating myself.

Nevermind. I wonder if I've ever repeated myself before. Hmm, maybe.

So, I'm going to do, once I've uploaded all the videos I'm going to do from the past, I will then start making videos on camera. That's my plan. That is my plan.

I'm going to stick to it. And if I do that, I will get more subscribers and more views. And by the time it comes to that, I reckon, I'm hoping to have about 10,000 subscribers by the end of the year.

And I managed to say that without laughing. But I don't see why not incremental, or at least 5000. Okay, another 20, another 20 subscribers by the end of the year.

I'll be happy. Ever so happy. So let's have a look.

What have I got? How many in the last public watch hours last year? 1958 watch hours. So I don't know how many I've got. 2024 into that.

What was that? It's really strange because I remember all the way back in 2009, 2009, maybe 2010, 2010. And I was sitting in the office doing a bit of volunteering work in a children's charity that I used to counsel, looking at my stats and working out how many people, you know, how many hours and how many days of people listened all every day, 24 hours a day, and how many hours it came up to and all the different countries and all that stuff.

And that was 16 years ago.

No, 15 years ago. No, 14 years ago, something like that. And now I'm back with less subscribers and less viewers than I had 15 years ago.

But it is a different YouTube channel, to be fair, but I'd like to start getting the momentum up again. Just for me, it gives me something to focus on. 1958.

So 1958 divided into 24. 81 days, 81 and a half days. I wonder does it give it doesn't analytics does the analytics and does the analytics give the country the audience? Okay.

For the last 28 days, I've had 7,300 unique viewers, 271 returning viewers, but 7.3 thousand new what unique unique views viewers. So that's people that watch me once and then never come back. Wow.

According to this, watch time from subscribers 67.5% of the people that watch my videos are not subscribed. 32.5% are subscribed. Okay, so all right.

Oh, what do you do with average? What six? I'm confused. I'm confused. I'm confused.

I never mind. So here's where it gets different from the podcasts. Now, I'm only basing this on the people that have contacted me.

Okay, from my podcasts, and it is and also some of the stats I've looked at on the podcast stats. Predominantly, I say it's a higher level of females compared to males listen to the podcasts.

On YouTube, it's more men watch the videos to females watch the videos as 61.9% of male 38.1% female, according to the YouTube and unspecified user is going to age 13 to 17 year olds zero 18 to 24 year olds 12% 25 to 34 years 26% that's my highest group 25 to 34 and then 24 and 35 to 44 at 24.9% and then it gradually goes down so 45 to 54 is 16.1% 56 to 64 is 13% 65 plus is 8% it says see more no because it's going to take me

into weird stats that I don't understand and see more okay so this is the videos or video shorts okay right the shorts are going to be watched more by younger people oh no no I was wrong there videos video oh it's pretty much the same okay now non-subtitles 79.8% that's no subtitles English I guess subtitles 14.1% so that's that's interesting content I wanted to find out where audience but what countries what countries oh okay so again um it's kind of similar with the podcasts it was always the United States was

the highest the biggest audience I got but over time the United Kingdom became larger like audience wise because there was a time even on YouTube I like but especially on the podcasts I wish more people from my own country would be listening to me now it's brilliant that people from other countries and I'm you know I'm grateful for every person that listens but it's just you know it'd be nice to have people from my own just just just generally just uh it feels nice you know you know I mean and

that has gone up United States still the top with the podcasts generally United Kingdom is pretty much always second but for this for the YouTube United States is 27.8% United Kingdom is 17.6% Canada 3% Australia 2.1% India 1.4% so what's that 20 30 40 50 so what about all the others that's what I'm confused about oh okay so all the others and there's a lot is Germany is 1.2% and then everything else is like 0.8% 0.5% 0.6% so yeah it's uh it's quite difficult to really work it all out there's

a lot of countries people listening from all over the Peru Venezuela Kyrgyzstan Kenya Greece Switzerland Pakistan South Korea Bangladesh Vietnam Saudi Arabia Turkey is it me or are they spelling Turkey different now because Turkey always used to be t-u-r-k-y I'm pretty sure it did and now they're spelling it t-u-r-k-i-y-e which is probably the correct spelling the way Turkey spell it but then are we going to go down that road because Germany's Deutschland isn't it then he started barking then so I've had a little word of him hopefully he's going to

behave himself now well let's have a look at cities cities what cities are the most people listen to oh okay London um Tashkent Uzbekistan Liverpool UK Smarkand Samarkand region Uzbekistan Delhi and Lima or Lima Peru so welcome to my watch watchers or viewers in or listeners as well maybe in Uzbekistan and India and Peru and of course Liverpool and London so thank you for watching thank you for listening so view agenda what else is a traffic source okay what's the traffic source browser features I don't even know what this means

myself uh blimey I used to know I used to know it's a long time since I've looked at stuff like this YouTube search impressions click-through rate 1.4 percent so they see the impression and 1.4 percent of the people that see the image the thumbnail whatever click click on it 1.4 percent and there's been 342 313 impressions shown of my videos and I've had 9628 views 620.2 hours watched it says here average view duration three three and a half minutes which just shows that bearing in mind well actually there are quite

a few short videos that I uploaded of Andre but most of my videos are fairly long so if people are this is interesting if people watch my videos on a playlist they watch for a lot longer like nearly 20 minutes 17 and a half minutes compared to and it says external 14 minutes 41 seconds so I don't know what that means I know what external means but I just don't know what what they mean by external and let me click on it and see traffic from websites and apps that embed

your video or link to your videos on YouTube and blimey I don't know who would do that who would embed my videos into there I don't know because I don't even I don't really share them on social media myself perhaps I should do I probably should do actually but I'll think about that once I've got everything up and running YouTube search so according to this YouTube search 46,887 impressions have come up from people searching we're not probably maybe not searching for me but maybe searching for relaxation or whatever and 412

actual views the browse features is the most so I've got 2.7 percent click-through rate on that when people are just browsing and on the playlists 2.9 percent click-through rate so yeah I guess you know perhaps I need to work a little bit more on the thumbnails in the future the way I see it is right now it's and I'm making I personally think that the videos I'm making at the moment of because I'm doing the bedtime story time Jason's bedtime story time they're they're pretty good videos because there's a swirling

image on it plus the you know they're they're they're quite high spec images on there and it's the you know it's you know you know you know you know how many times can you say you know I don't know do you know I don't and oh here's a here's a film to watch it's on Netflix I think yeah it's on Netflix it's called The Hitman The Hitman it's very different from it's just different yeah it's worth a watch and what I'm looking forward to this week is The Boys are back

on Amazon The Boys on Thursday eight o'clock in the morning apparently hopefully so I um so I'm looking forward to that that's Thursday it's Monday now so just two more days and I've got that coming up I'll watch that so yeah that's good I'm trying to think I'm looking forward to next Wednesday because I get paid and then I phoned a bank up on the bank the electric and gas they're allowing me to pay the bill next week because the direct debit didn't go through and they're trying to put it

through again tomorrow or the 12th yeah two days away I'm gonna try and take 108 pound and 31 pence so I called them up and said look there's there's no there's no money in there you can't you know will you is okay if I call you on Wednesday and just pay it and they said yeah it's fine but we might cancel your direct debit so you have to set up a new direct debit which could affect the the agreement I've got because they're giving me a discount for having direct debit

and I don't know if they're gonna try and use that as an excuse to charge me more I don't know I hope not she seemed very she seemed perfectly pleasant on the phone in fact I felt a little bit of a connection with her in fact I started coughing that's how connected I felt I did I started talking like coughing I said sorry about that she oh I also called up the student finance and and sorted a few little bits out there so my course starts my open university course starts

in I think it's October I think it is it's October or September October I'll have a look I'm just going to sign into the account and see so I'm doing BSc honours psychology it's going to take me six years to do it I'll be 109 by the time it's finished and the student finance is given they're paying for the course yearly I mean they're paying for the basically it had to be part of a degree course for me to get funded for the year so they know the student finance know

that it's a six-year course it's going to take me six years and pretty much they're going to give me not give me the money but they're going to pay open university the money that is that it costs every year and so I've got the the first course I'm doing is for 60 points and each year is 60 points so after six years it's 360 which is honours degree how old will I actually be so I start that I'll be 54 blimey I'll be 60 will you still be listening to me

will you will we still be friends when I'm 60 hey will you still need me will you still love me when I'm 60 I don't know wow so the first course I'm doing is the weird thing about it is as I get older Vinnie's getting older you could say that about anyone well yeah we're getting older because in six years time he'll be what eight and a half okay nearly eight and a half or whatever by the time I get my degree he'll be yeah eight and a half which is

seven times by eight it'll be in his he'll be nearly 60 himself in dog years so 7 14 28 56 57 58 59 yeah he's pretty much on the dot be about 60 when I'm 60 and then he'll get he'll start getting older than me which is weird so here it will be with me during my studies and the first course is e that's e for echo 104 with the open university so if you're interested in finding out what studying just go to the open university website it's open.ac.uk it might

be a different one if you live in a different country just be open.ac.uk whatever your country is because the open university as far as I'm aware is available all around the world and then if you just click in search for the course e104 and it's introduction to childhood studies and child psychology so that's what I'm going to be doing track your application process cut off date oh okay registered on the 4th of June 2024 really no I registered on this weeks ago okay it starts on the 5th of October 2024

so yeah I thought it was October and it doesn't say when it ends final date you can it be I guess May 2025 okay the module website will be open on the 11th of September 2024 so I'll be able to go in there and have a look around and stuff um so the there's TMA I don't know what TMA stands for but it basically um coursework you have to do or marked work you have to send in so there's four TMAs I don't know what it stands for tutor marked assessment

I think I made that up but it might be true tutor marked assignment assessment oh okay I'll look into a bit more detail we'll have a we'll have a chat about it another time we'll go go even more in depth so it starts on the 5th of October so what we now 10th of June July August September October so it's only four less than four months away wow wow so it's strange that but it's saying that I registered on the 4th of June maybe that's how long it took for them

to process it um the above and the first TMA which I think is tutor assigned assessment cutoff date 21st of November so what I'll do is I'll do a recording while I do the the TMA so I'll go through it with you while I'm doing it yeah we can share the experience we can share the next six years doing this yeah because I got 16 hours a week to give to this so you know maybe perhaps I should do a different podcast just for this but it might be fun I'll

be learning new things and I could talk about the new things I learn relearning old things and making new connections it could be some funny stuff come out of it final date the final date you can defer this module the final date you can defer this module is 26th of May okay so that's the last date they're doing this module I don't know if that what that means uh you're planning to count this module towards the BSc honours psychology so let's have a look on this website for the for the

psychology website there is so he's got BSc or honours psychology in progress yes yes qualification completion deadline 5th of October 1940 no 2040 so basically I've got till I'm 70 to finish it it's not a long time um qualification so that's for the whole the whole thing so I'll be 60 when it's done but you don't have to do it you know I mean you can do as many modules as you want I just won't get finance for more than one a year and the introduction to childhood studies and psychology

which is what I'm doing is oh where is it blimey module website that's what I want module website oh okay it's not telling me how much it costs I wonder why that is students equality quality assured final your qualifications you are planning to count this module towards BSc honours psychology okay right so I thought it was going to sort of say about me my qualifications which is I do already have a degree a degree a degree a degree BA honours in counselling studies 12,010 this okay all right cool so student

home I'm trying to fit surely it should have something about how much is costing you think you fit your student loan okay your student loan let's click on this your oh your student home student loan we are waiting for your loan to be approved oh man so this course name BSc honours psychology start date October 2024 academic start year October 2024 total tuition fee for this year 3,636 3,636 and it says here to align with the part-time fee limit for England the total tuition fee charged to your loan will not

exceed 6,935 and so they can't charge more than 6,935 otherwise the student loan company won't agree to it so they're waiting for my loan to be approved ensure that you've worked through every step of the to-do list to complete the part-time tuition fee loan application which I have and just waiting they can take up to they said it should be done by August they should have like completed it by August so still got a couple of months that's a little bit it's a little bit exciting now now I'm seeing it

in front of me because I wasn't accepted on anything I wasn't accepted on the course and now I am and part of this is there are actually course days where you can go along to a university I think yeah one of the universities and the open university has an open day not an open day but like a study day for each particular course I don't know how often they are but it gives gives you an opportunity to meet other people that are also on that course maybe people that perhaps I'd

have met online you know in the the portal or whatever it is past and future modules this module starts you're going to go to study subject your subjects subject and qualifications your subjects undergraduate psychology and counselling what do you say that for you can access the undergraduate why has it got down is that my your subjects browse all welcome to the psychology and counselling qualification site okay okay because that's what it's under please explore the many resources a site has to offer the site includes learning activities information resources and networking

on shared interests creating a sense of community throughout the undergraduate program get pretty good at rolling my tongue open our email browser open qualifications art and social sciences which is what I'm doing isn't it social sciences under the psychology undergraduate psychology and counselling okay so that's it that's where I was let's just take you back to exactly where I was to start with blimey and yes it's it's it's good I don't know is it is it good I think so I think so module narrative so what's this bsc honors module

for q07 which is that's the name of the the degree the module routes may differ slightly depending on which qualification pathway you chosen and date you enrolled but since october 2013 the qualification code is q07 and the standard pathway is described here please note that the module offerings change from time to time as the curriculum evolves so do check module chooser if you are uncertain before registering on your next module and so for this degree in order to get the best possible grounding in psychology you will take the three compulsory

60 credits for this degree it's my eyesight I'm trying to struggle to see okay for I'll put my glasses on eyes better for this degree in order to get the best possible grounding in psychology you will take the three compulsory 60 credit psychology modules invest in psychology invest in the psychology rather one two and three one at each level of study with encountering psychology one at each level of study with encountering psychology okay these modules for I'm confused already at level one you also one of the core options exploring psychological

worlds introducing the social sciences or childhood studies and child psychology this will provide you a core science social science module covering criminology sociology and other related areas or a broad introduction to psychology and counseling or in the interdisciplinary childhood studies that's level one so I'm doing the childhood studies and child psychology and another one which I'll do next year level two you need to take 60 credits of core optional modules you can choose a study one of the 60 credit modules living psychology from everyday to the extraordinary then there's exploring

mental health and counseling and the other one is psychology of childhood and youth or sport and exercise in sport and exercise psychology and action if you've previously taken d240 counseling exploring fear okay right doesn't matter right I'm trying to think what should see I'm interested in like exploring mental health and counseling because I studied counseling I've studied mental health as part of my counseling degree which is yeah quite a while ago now so if I was going to do you need to take 60 credits of course you can choose study

one of the so if I had to choose one of them I'd probably choose psychology of childhood and youth I've got a fascination I guess I'm trying understand myself to be honest with you this isn't for any kind of career you know I'm by the time I finish this I'll be on my way to retirement age it's ridiculous but I just want to understand I want to try eventually to have more of an understanding of how I how I ended up you know that's weird so let's go on my camera

Vinnie's on there 50 star sorry I'm just seeing something that's on my screen that's very strange so I got the door camera the counselor said we had to take them off so I took mine off but it's near the it's near the door on the floor at the moment and I just got an alert saying that someone's at my door but it said 15 minutes ago so I just looked at it and it wasn't today 1857 it's now 9 7 11 so that's really weird Vinnie is literally there at the

front door but he's been with me the whole time that's very strange I think it's him I hope it's him that's very weird very weird anyway uh level three which is but I have to do two two modules for each level which is confusing me as to what I have to do and what I can choose from so I'm going to look at okay if I click this I'll just go to the open university just click on the normal open university and search courses courses psychology yes England he's asking me

where are you what country are you it's a psychology honors degrees bsc bsc honors psychology that's the one accredited course so how long it takes part-time six years fine fair of course details stage one you choose between introduction psychology counseling the social sciences or childhood studies you follow this with your first core psychology module so what is the first core okay it's in front of me now so I'm doing introduction to childhood studies and child psychology and after that the next year I'll be doing encountering psychology with encountering psychology in

context now the next year it will be I'll have a choice of exploring mental health and counseling living psychology from the everyday to the extraordinary that does actually sound good psychology of childhood and youth sports and exercise psychology so I'm probably going to choose psychology of childhood and youth investigating psychology two is the next one that's the that's the fourth year that's the the fight that's the the compulsory one was weird though because it's it's a bit strange they've got the first compulsory one is investigating psychology no it's it's encountering

psychology in context and then the next the next compulsory one is investigating psychology two and the next one is investigating psychology three so I'm confused slightly so stage three the compulsory one investigating psychology three and then I can do advanced in social psychology these are ones I can choose from the four athletic development and psychological perspective counseling and forensic psychology investigating crime and therapy and lastly contemporary research with children and young people I think there's a pattern here I think I'm probably going to go for the contemporary research with children

and young people I don't know why really it just I like the idea of something being having that as a I don't know as a theme maybe exploring psychological worlds thinking feeling doing so okay so I've already chosen introduction to childhood studies and child psychology so the first year is chosen the second year is already chosen for me encountering psychology in context so I don't have a choice about this one if I want to do the next year then that's the one I have to do the module offers the next

start is 1st of February 2025 so I won't be doing that one I'll be doing I suppose yeah 28th of September 2025 will be the next one I do the module offers an accessible and engaging introduction to classic and contemporary psychological theory and research applied to a broad range of contexts you'll encounter core areas of psychology as set out by the British Psychological Society for example social cognitive development developmental biological and applied aspects of professional practice example forensic counselling or forensic and counselling you will learn how psychologists have studied topics

that directly affect people's lives in areas such as criminal justice family life aging and brain injury you'll also explore how psychology can inform our understanding of magic and misdirection performance and how people develop across the lifespan okay sounds interesting what you will study this module introduces core the module introduces core areas of psychology including biological cognitive development and social psychology and considers how these can be applied to understand real world issues the relationship between psychological theory and application is also explored in topics linked to forensic psychology and counselling and okay

so the first block introduces the psychology of relating in different contexts including focus on intimate relationships family lives work and relating positively that's altruism and cooperation in the social world block two focus taps into notions of emotional states love positive feelings and ground them in the psychological psychology of emotions and feelings block three talks about psychological research how it's been applied to the criminal justice system okay block four explores the relationship between the brain and behavior and considers how biological evidence can inform psychological theories block five you'll re-encounter topics and

concepts from earlier in the module in exciting new contexts and so yeah that's cool that's that's that'll be year two though so i don't even have to think about that year one is the only one i need to think about and that doesn't start until october four months four months away so introduction of childhood studies so that'd be you may wish to explore these three open learn resources to prepare for this module introduction to child psychology and the other one is different cultures different childhoods i will do that i do

believe let's have a look how do i go about doing except all kiki cookies cookies what kind of cookies i like so introduction to child psychology free statement of participation on completion level one introductory eight hours study create an account to get more create an account am i not logged in am i not logged in sign in surely i'm logged in i mean come on oh i am signed in use you cheeky little things it logged me out now i'm signed in brilliant thank you get recognition of your learning enroll

you do but then that'd be copyright wouldn't it if i start reading out everything from the what is child psychology this is a learning outcome what is child psychology using theories to understand development that's number two so developing using theories to understand development development is primarily internal piaget and development is determined by environmental factors um is that the cook how do i start the course though you're on this free course so course contents oh if i click on it oh got you oh no it's 18 introduction introduction so i have

to read that first introduction okay and then just click next every time got you i've got you what i'll do i'll save this page there you go i'll do it um next year i think i'll do it next year so i'll do i've done quite a few online courses over over the time over the time over the years over over a period of many many years i've done a lot of online courses actually i've not all been free i've paid for some and i quite like the online stuff because you

can tick it and you can answer especially the multiple choice you can do that and it's fairly easy not easy but an easy way to do it an easy process just uh kind of suits me it fits me a little bit and it says eight hours but i'll probably do it in about two hours because i'm super duper no it's just they say they're very generous with the amount of time they say it can take generally it's not going to take eight hours that's that's my previous experience and i've done

a few of the open learn courses on uh i wonder if it's got one if it's got uh um no i was wondering if it's got a thing of me what courses i've done student home i've got a record that's what i was looking for study record study record come on give me my study record no it's only focusing on the the course i'm about to do you know with the on the degree psychology that's got your undergrad your undergraduate student loan clicking on that what's it saying there we're waiting

for the loan to be approved okay cool that'd be nice when it comes through provided it all comes through fine and then it'll be all covered and i'll be able to do and be get my brain working again that's what i need need to have some uh brain activity just it can only be a positive thing access to your personal blog personal blog um um i guess i'd have to be quite careful what i wrote on a personal blog wouldn't i because they'd have access to it wouldn't they yeah most

visited reflections on e-learning wow there's someone here's got 11 millions over 11 million views of their blog oh so this is kind of interesting to me i know it might be a bit boring for me to talk about it and my stomach's gurgling which means it's time for food i need to get some food yes food food food food food so there's no i'm gonna messages on my phone and nothing nothing nothing okay good or not good depending so that's fine so it's half past seven and i have something to

eat i have the roast dinner that i was cooked i'll stick that in the microwave and i'll make a cup of tea with no sugar blimey and that's me done for the day really watch something on telly i've already while i've been doing this i've uploaded the next well 15 16 and 17 of the jason's bedtime story time so that that's good and i've also got one more subscriber than i had before yay so i've not i've all i've uploaded them i've not actually released them yet so there is yeah

i think i've got number 29 is already on there so from 1 all the way up to 6 17 i've made them and uploaded them but they're not available to actually watch but they will be as soon as i've done all of them when i finish them all then i'll just release them all and then i'll start on the next playlist and the next bunch of stuff and just keep going until it's all done and i suppose really it's a good idea to get the jason's bedtime story times out of

the way because i think part of the reason why i people don't listen to them is i don't realize how great they are some of them are quite good but hey that's just my personal opinion the when i start excuse me when i start uploading the the hypnosis stuff that's when i'll get more more people watching because that's kind of what really what more people want to listen to and i guess and view on YouTube well that's what i'm known for on YouTube the kind of hypnosis stuff i would say

on the podcast i'm probably more known for the Let Me Bore You To Sleep now than anything else but on YouTube even people still coming up to me not coming up to me but they're leaving messages saying oh glad you're back and stuff like that which is quite nice and i'm even there's an old video sleep hypnosis weekly from about 2017 maybe longer ago i still had that big black chair that was squeaky and someone put very effective thanks and it's an old video and i've already put old video in

brackets so people can see that um 23 relaxate relaxation hypnosis distress anxiety and panic attacks someone put thank you and relaxation asmr whisper flush your flush away your worries someone's put down i love this and some yeah on the flush away worries oh it's another another i must be getting some traction another person wrote down great vid and then they wrote down suggestion do some tapping mouth sounds and so that's because it's asmr i suppose people are coming across me for the first time i think i'm gonna be shocked not

only imagine if i start posting new videos and i'll see that i don't have a full head of dark wavy hair anymore it's been a while since i've had that but it mind you quite a few of those ones i am bald so there's not a lot of hair anyway but it's kind of strange just because i'm gonna look what's eight six seven eight years ago whatever i'm gonna look different and it's a very my old very old video the longest asmr whisper hypnosis relaxation video from 2009 so 15 years

ago someone's written you have a great voice for this based on a glance at your channel you mostly do fairly straightforward hypnosis but if you ever wanted to get more whimsical with it your voice would suit like a fey themed asmr hypnosis video very well especially with some well-placed echo effects so i need to apply to some of these so that's nice um that person's going to be shocked if they see some of my new videos see that i don't look like i did 15 years ago i probably look similar

in the sense of i still got still kind of got the same face someone's written on old asmr whisper short mindfulness session first comment let's go jason i see you hello from cape town south africa so i need to reply to that one and someone's written commented on the brain has no pain let me boil your pain away and can i ask were you speaking about edini he was great so um and that's that's it actually i think i need to reply to those videos comments i've just been so i

want to say busy but the last couple of days i haven't been i haven't felt so great to be honest but it's it's all right it's okay so i'm gonna have me din dins and then i'm gonna watch a bit of tv and what i might do actually try and make a couple more videos first and then that's it i don't know what's on tv and i'll get up tomorrow morning it was weird i got up this morning and there's nothing to do but i like getting up and doing the

editing and feeling like i've kind of done something you know i've kind of something so yeah anyway so i'm gonna go thank you for listening remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy be gentle with yourself lots of love bye
