Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name is Jason Newland and my websites are jasonnewland.com and letmeboreyou.com. Please only listen when you can. Safely close your eyes.
Yeah. So how are you doing? You okay? Good. Well, I was going to start this recording earlier because the boxing's on.
And it's actually quarter to five p.m. The boxing started at four o'clock. There's already been two fights already. I know, weird.
And it's a long, long thing. It won't be finished probably until about eleven. Maybe later.
Depending on how long the fights last. And the last two fights were quick. They lasted too quickly.
The last one was like first round. So they're now doing a lot of talking. And yeah, so that's what I'm doing tonight.
I'm going to have myself a frozen pizza. I might even cook it. Yeah, I think I'll cook it.
So that's going to be my dinner for tonight. And I did the Q&A yesterday. Last night.
And I can't believe how long I chatted for. Like a long, long time. And the actual recording after I edited it lasted for three hours and eight minutes and 43 seconds.
Three hours, eight minutes and 43 seconds. That's ridiculous. I mean, that's a longer shift than radio presenters normally do.
You know, they normally do about three hours. And I was just like, what on earth? Well, it was even longer than that. It was probably about three and a half hours before I edited it.
So I did that. So I did about three and a half hours of talking last night. Saved it.
And this morning I got up at about four o'clock. All excited. Knowing that I had this huge task ahead of me.
Because editing that amount of... It's a big process. It's quite a long thing. So it took from... To edit the whole thing.
To process it. Making the images. Getting the descriptions made.
Tags. Uploading and sharing. Took four hours.
A bit more than that actually. But four hours of me kind of really focused on it. So between four and eight.
And then I went to bed again. And... So what's that? Four, five, six, seven... Over seven hours. Maybe seven and a half hours.
Of... Of time put into... Making yesterday's Q&A Friday. And I've had five people watch it. Or listen to it.
Five. No. Seven.
Nine. So... Nine. So I've got... Yeah, so that was... Number 1124.
Q&A Friday. Let Me Bore You To Sleep. 17th of May, 2023.
I will do another one next week. So I'd just like to say thank you to everyone for your messages. Or for your questions rather.
If I... Missed anyone's questions. Which is always a chance. I mean I've tried my best to check everything.
But if I have, I apologise. And please... Post another question. Or maybe post the same question.
Next week. Like maybe Monday. When I post the... Any questions.
Q&A Friday coming up. So... Maybe... Perhaps I can put something on my letmeboilyou.com website. Q&A Friday questions.
Maybe just Q&A Friday. And just give you... A thing where you can fill it in. Questions for the... Up and coming things.
So I do also mention the people... Whose questions I answer as well. During the podcast. Recording.
So I'm not just... I'm not just answering questions and then moving on to the next question. I do say who's question it was. And... I do a massive thank you.
And I serenade the person. Send them flowers in the post. You know, normal stuff.
So... Yeah I was a bit knackered this morning after that. I was... Although I didn't... Yesterday or last night. I think I started it... I finished it about 8 o'clock.
So I must have started it about... Half 5. Or... Half 3. I don't know. I can't think if it worked out. Half 4. Yeah.
So I must have... I finished around 8. I'm pretty sure I did. Was it 9? So... The reason I record and then edit separately. Is because it's too much.
All in one go for me. So I'm just... I just can't handle it man. It's just a lot.
You know, if I think... Oh I've got to edit it. There's a part of me will probably make the recording shorter. Because it's just... Oh... And I won't enjoy making the recordings as much.
So... The good thing about just recording it and then turning everything off. Is I can forget about it. The downside is... I... Often forget what I've talked about.
But I do... I kind of try and remember. But I do also transcribe the recordings. So I can... At least get a description anyway.
So I... To remind myself of what I've discussed. But it's fairly easy with the Q&A Friday. Because I just call it Q&A Friday.
I don't number them. Maybe I should. But... Because I put a date on it.
I just... Leave it at that. And I'll continue doing the Q&A Friday until I'm 94 years old. Hopefully.
Yay! So I... I hope that I answered the questions okay. But... It probably didn't need to take 3 hours. And 8 minutes.
To do so. Possibly that was a little bit... Long. Oh well.
So I'm just checking. There's no messages. No comments or anything.
Today. It's a Saturday isn't it? People are busy. Doing... Enjoying the weekend.
Hopefully. So today. I was going to do this.
You know. Get this done. Or get it done.
But you know. Make this recording. Early afternoon time.
You know. Around kind of maybe... Well before 4 o'clock. So I thought maybe do it about 2 o'clock.
And then if it runs over the hour. Then it's fine. Doesn't matter.
But it's unlikely to go over 2 hours. Because... I don't generally do over 2 hours. Sometimes 1 and a half hours.
But rarely over 2 hours. Sometimes 1 hour and... 30 minutes. What's this? Thanks.
OK. Sorry. The boxing has just come up on the screen.
What fights are next. So I don't know. 1. 2. 3. The next fight.
I don't know either of the people. Well that's... It could be a really good fight. But.
I'll watch it with the music off. The music. The sound.
The sound. I mean technically. I could watch it with my headphones on.
And listen to it. And then just talk. But.
I think I would be. Proper. Distracted.
So I won't do that. I did think about. Maybe.
Doing this recording. And doing a. Like a commentary. Of the fight.
As I watch it. But I don't know if I'd enjoy. The fight so much.
If I was talking through it. I don't know. So I decided no.
Although. What I've noticed with these long. These.
Because basically it's in Dubai. And this is I think the 3rd. Or 4th even.
Dubai Big Night. Where it starts at 4 o'clock. Until.
11. And I do find. That by about.
8 or 9. I'll flag a little bit. And. The last one.
I actually. Fell asleep. But luckily.
The final fight. Was super gripping. So.
I was. Very much awake. And.
Who's. I think it was. Tyson.
No. It was. Oh.
There's been 2 that I remember. Maybe there's another one as well. But there's one with.
Anthony Joshua. Against Nganu. And the previous one to that.
Was Tyson. Versus Nganu. So they both.
They were both. Dubai. Big.
Huge fights. Loads of fighters. And stuff.
So. And that one. I think it's the one with Joshua.
Maybe it was the one with Tyson. There was. Yeah.
I'm pretty sure. I'm trying to think who fought. I remember.
So many fighters fought it. Fought on them. Them bills.
But. There's. Probably about.
4 or 5 fights. That I want to watch. Tonight.
Or today. The main fight. Of course.
Tyson Yusek. Then these. His upper tire.
Is fighting for the cruiserweight championship. And he's. Arguably the best cruiserweight in the world at the moment.
And. He used to be the champion. But he gave up for some reason.
So he's unbeaten. And he's phenomenal. There's also.
Moses Attua. Or Tilly. Or something.
He's young heavyweight. So I want to watch him. So I've been following him since he started.
And this is his ninth fight. I think. And then there's.
Joe Cordina is fighting. Defending his world title. So.
And also. Oh. Oh man.
What's his name. There's another one. He's really really good heavyweight.
Why is Eddie Yuzak. Being. Touted by the search engine.
Eddie Yuzak is trending. Because. She recently revealed an interest in hidden talent.
She has a pilot's license. Okay. Cool.
And. I didn't know that. Eddie Yuzak.
Such a. Iconic. Comedian. He was basically.
I say she. But Eddie. I say just Eddie.
Eddie was. The top comedian. On the circuit.
When I started doing comedy. In 1991. Eddie Yuzak.
Was the numero. Umero. Of everyone.
Above everyone. Including Joe Brand. Including.
Harry Hill. Because Harry Hill. Had only just restarted.
But he gained popularity. Really really quickly. He was headlining.
Almost straight away. Because he was so good. Harry Hill.
But he. He was one of his. Harry Hill.
Was one of his comedians. That. Would turn up.
And do. Any gig. Anywhere.
So he'd literally do. On the same night. Let's say.
On a Saturday night. He'd do maybe four gigs. Like Jonglers twice.
And Comedy Store twice. Maybe the Banana Cabaret. So he'd end up doing five gigs maybe.
Starting late afternoon. All the way till early hours of the morning. And then on a Sunday.
He'd be. In a comedy pit. In Streatham.
Earning. Maybe a five pound. He really didn't care.
He just performed. Everywhere. And anywhere.
That would give him. Well not give him. That he.
He just wanted to keep practicing. And. Learning.
I guess. Just. Just.
Getting better. And he did. And he was phenomenal.
I used to know him. To talk to. Because he used to.
Because he used to go to the little gigs. Which I was at. I got to know him.
And. He was lovely. Really nice bloke.
And he was like. Practically every gig I did. Because he was always performing.
Every single night. Of the week. Which is how he got so good.
And. The fact that he was. Seriously talented.
Probably. Was. Helpful.
And. I don't know if he was still a doctor. At that time.
But. Yeah. And then he became.
Very very famous. In this country. I don't know.
If he's. If you know him around the world. Or not.
Harry Hill. He used to be called. Harry Hall.
H-A-L-L. Not H-I-L-L. And.
He went for an equity card. Which you need to have to. Think to perform.
You know. To be on TV. And stuff like that.
And. He. They realised.
That there was already. There was already another person. Another actor.
With the name Harry Hall. So. He changed his name to Harry Hill.
And there's this big. Advert. In the.
Time Out magazine. Announcing it. From this day forward.
The comedian. Known as Harry Hall. Will now.
Be known as. Harry Hill. This is.
It was such a big deal. And. It's quite weird.
Because. You think of Harry Hill. And it's Harry Hill.
But he used to be Harry Hall. See. That shows you.
That I know some stuff. Because. A lot of people wouldn't know that.
A lot of people. Even around. In the 90s.
Might have forgotten about it. I reckon Harry Hill. Probably forgot about it.
Because it's been such a long time ago. That's a silly thing to say. Of course he's going to remember I guess.
Harry. Hall. OK.
Let's have a look. Who's Harry Hall? Harry Hall. English professional golfer.
Harry Hall. Harry Hall. Harry Hall golfer.
OK. So. I don't think he'd have been confused for a golfer.
Mind you. Some of them trousers. He used to wear the trousers.
Maybe. But. So I've put in Hall.
And then Hill. See whether or not it comes up. Nope.
So I've put in Harry Hill. Harry Hill. Let's have a look.
See. You think I'm lying. But I'm not.
Oh. Birth name. Matthew.
Keith. Hall. Da da da da da.
Da da da da da. Biddly bee. Biddly bee.
Biddly bee boo. See. See.
I got it for her. See. Matthew.
So Harry. I think Harry might be a name. Harold.
Harry. Maybe Harry was another name for. Because there was this.
There's this thing from like years ago. Where. You know like with.
What's his name. Kennedy. So Ted Kennedy.
Is it Ted Kennedy. There's Edward. And then there was the.
John F. Kennedy. But he was known as. What was he known as.
John F. Kennedy. No. But he was known as something else.
No. John F. Kennedy. It was known as.
Lyndon B. Johnson. No. So Edward was a Jack Kennedy.
So Jack. So that's weird. I don't know why Jack Kennedy.
Jack Kennedy. Makes no sense to me to be honest. Because where does Jack come from John.
So yeah. Doesn't. I don't really get that.
Because my dad's name's John. No one calls him Jack. But my granddad's name was.
Edward and he was called Ted everyone called him Ted except me well once I called him Ted I never called him Ted again but my uncle my dad's brother also Edward everyone called him Eddie so it's kind of like it's confusing and my stepmum's dad Harry he when he was in the hospital I went to visit him and I said I'll come here to see Harry whatever his surname was and I said no we've got no one of that name in here I said what I said no got no one
I said yeah you have he's here he's definitely here she said you got a problem I said no I'm just saying he is here cuz I'm coming to visit him and my family already here as well so my family here and they said nope so I phoned up my stepbrother I said I can't he's just saying he's not here he said oh no that's not his actual name it's not his name no it's not Harry's not his name his name's Rupert or I don't know what it was whatever it was
I don't know so why is he called Harry then and I think Harry was his middle name I just call yourself by your name isn't that easier because it makes it's complicated when it comes to that it's like serious situations it's not people that name their houses winds me up don't name your house just have a number I have literally I'm not even joking now I've literally twice in the last 10 years seen ambulances looking for an address because they can't find it because there's no number so when you're looking
for number 43 you might not be able to see 43 but if you can find 42 or 39 you know you know I mean it's like makes it a easy you can kind of figure out where roughly where it is in case the numbers obscured by a bush but a house name just I understand you know I'm gonna make this house a home by giving it a name I christen you poppy fields forever like no it's a number give it a number stop winding me up give it a number I
mean this these ambulances this is a late at night so the light is not so good in the UK England Commonwealth Britain when it's dark because the streetlights aren't very bright nowadays about half the brightness that they used to be and also they're not on after midnight and so that's one way to cut down on crime isn't it yeah you idiotic politicians so they all that was controversial that was what that normally do politics Wow oh no I'm turning to a political podcast no I'm not I have actually had an
ambulance stop me in the street and say I don't suppose you know where pickled over court is do you pickled over court it's right it's a silly name they said yeah I know but do you know where it is I said I don't know people know what I call it pickled over court and the paramedic said look we need to get there quickly it's an emergency I said that climbing horses down I think we need to talk about the silly name though he said we haven't got time I said what's
the number he said we don't have a number we just have a house but we don't have originally had number he said look do you know where it is this is an emergency and I said okay it's over there they said okay can I get a lift you can't get a lift this is an ambulance not a taxi well why do you want to lift anyway I live there if you lived there why didn't you tell us where it was I said what if I'm out if I'm waiting for the
ambulance you know just why I'm out here waiting we're the ambulance how was I to know you is the one I didn't know you is the ambulance for this house might be with someone else there's more than one ambulance in the world uh-huh anyway all worked out okay yeah so that's a weird story but yeah I've actually been stopped twice by ambulances not knowing where they were going and I've seen multiple times ambulances driving down this road looking like they can't know where it is the same with delivery drivers taxi
drivers you know it's been there's been a lot of it's because a lot of their houses or that the flats like a multiple numbers you know sort of 42 to 93 and stuff like that and you can't see this you can't see the signs when there's not much light in the road you know I mean yes so what was I gonna say oh today did I tell you that Vinnie ran out the road yesterday run out of the park he's very very upset with him it looks like he's got one
of his teeth sticking out but it's not it's just a piece of paper there's a bit of white paper sticking out his mouth it looked like a big fang but it wasn't a big fang big fang man so today's been I feel like I've already done the day because all those hours this morning focusing on the editing and oh man it was quite a task it's the longest I've ever spent on one podcast in a long time and I kept him go back and forward back and forward just checking that
I'd deleted stuff and checking that I'd edited out any unsavory sounds and it just went on and on and on and on and on and on a bit like me so oh my anti barking thing definitely works now I let him bark a little hey it's not a time to bark when I'm telling everyone that the anti barking thing works and the new barking doesn't really help does it hey it's just because someone's slamming the door downstairs so he has to bark look got this remember just just seeing it should
be enough to just remind him I don't stop him from barking altogether because he still needs to have a little a little talk and a little shout and stuff but I stop it from getting too overbearing you know bit too much but when we're out he'll bark at dogs and I'll let him do that a little bit but then if he gets a little bit too much old I'll do the old buzzer so yeah I'm quite pleased with that thing it's definitely good but I think I'm gonna need to take
him to training horse not horse training dog training because I need to find a way to get him to have recall like proper recall because recall is ridiculously bad especially if he's with dogs if he's running around with other dogs he doesn't hear me and it's not his fault but he doesn't hear my voice because he's so busy it gets so excited and the thing is I can't let him off the lead anymore and I find that very sad because he is probably his happiest when he's running around with other
dogs that I probably I mean I have to guess because I'm not inside his brain but he looks at his happiest when he's doing that the more dogs the better he just loves it especially if he's around with Archie and Noodles is another one that he loves and he loves absolutely loves running around but there's no recall and it didn't bother me so much when he was in the park because when the other dog came back quite often the other dog owner would hold him for me because he'd go to
them and he wouldn't come to me sometimes he'd come to me and it would be one of those things but when he runs out of the park which he's done twice this week it's I can't I can't I mean I let him he got away with the first time and I was never gonna let him off the lead again and blah blah blah all that stuff and I started feeling a bit guilty and I'm feeling like well it's not just him that's gonna miss out I'm gonna miss out because I
love seeing him happy I do this it brightens my day up seeing him running around playing wrestling kissing and cuddling and you know Archie or whoever it is he's with he's happy when he's doing that and I can't give him that you know I can't run around like that and so hopefully hopefully yeah I'm gonna look into that what kind of yeah I need to look into that sort of dog training I wonder if there's anything near here though dog wise dog dog wise dot UK is the that's a website
so I saw it's got different places so dog wise dot UK if you have a dog that has problems behaving or a new puppy that is brimming with spirit and energy da-da-da-da-da-da-da why just need a website if this one's close by you know what they're doing there they're doing what I used to do years ago and it's just sad they've basically got the same template for every single area and it just changed the words for each town but everything else is the same so they put the town one two three
four five six I don't know so that's what they're doing it's kind of it's just the same template and it's gonna be the same wherever you look it's gonna be the same so I'll do that so I'm gonna go into the details we get back to you go away no give me my details tell me now that's weird I'm quite surprised at that actually dog walking cat training dog care pet training and you did go away into your details no I ain't got time for that and central Essex dog training
society so let's have a look at this one classes introduction class that's what I need isn't it introduction you know maybe it's 50 pound for the introduction class which covers your first six weeks our first six weeks this includes a year's membership class 645 cost 50 pound for the introduction class which covers your first six weeks this includes a year's membership class time 645 to 745 please see our catalog page for introduction class dates for 2023 oh I hope there's going to be something for this year please book in the
desk each week before your class overview class classes are intended as an introduction to the basic commands sit heel down state wait to come okay I think it might be a case having to find upcoming events 26 of June introduction class new members welcome Wow it's close by as well 50 quid new members I'm and this is June 26 until July 31st 645 to 745 that's perfect June so is it May now there's a month away so and then the next introduction class this is for new members so I guess
you've got to do the six-week course first and then go from there so I need to click on there what is exciting introduction class for new members or existing members with young dogs puppies are welcome okay that's a full stop there puppies are welcome once they have cleared their final vaccinations and there's no upper age limit there is a basic introduction to the club and to obedience work for you and your dog it takes a form of six weeks introduction classes where you and your dog will learn basic commands you
and your dog try and teach me to sit and heel down Jason down stay wait to come etc do one of them at the end of the six-week introduction handler and dog may continue the training journey by attending our starters class on a weekly basis weekly pay fees of three pound per dog I can't I can't not jump at that chance can I really because not only will he learn to behave what not to behave because he's a good boy he is a good boy aren't you are you sure daddy
I'm a really good boy if you are a good boy and to register please attend in person on Wednesday even from 730 we can only reserve a place once it has been paid in full we now accept card cash or check total cost 50 pound for the six-week introduction classes which includes your membership fee please bring with you please bring it with you to register your dog's vaccination certificate please bring with you to register your dog's vaccinations but you do not bring your dog when registering please do not okay I
don't know where the vaccination certificates are cuz I didn't have any when he had them do the conditions of club insurance only members are allowed to be in control of a dog whilst in the village hall therefore members of the family and or friends who wish a train or even hold the dog in the hall must join the club along with the main handler we strongly recommend your dog is vaccinated and that you work your dog on a collar not a harness a collar okay yeah right so I don't know
if I've got any of the because basically the woman that I've got the dog off doesn't I don't see there's any contact with the people that she that grew him you know I mean which means I think I might have lost all that information I'll have to have a word of her see what she says so I did have information all about his jabs and everything like that and he's definitely he's definitely been had them all and he's insured maybe he needs some more jabs I've maybe got to check that
out I don't know I don't know I don't know I don't know don't ask me how am I supposed to know that's quite exciting in it you think about it I can do all it's done in WordPress central issue so I need to save that save it six-dog train society blimey so what I do look at the classes introduction classes then start as class one two three four five six there's only six people there so I'm gonna have to just build a base building on basics from introduction classes class content
sit heel down stay wait to recall okay recall is definitely the one I want okay progress will be monitored so you just basically go every week until you're at a stage where they think you can move on to the next stop next phrase so for progress will be monitored and once a certain standard has been shown in consecutive weeks you'll be invited to join class one in our main hall so we're gonna be stuck in the starters class for about five years I think yes we are away hey yes we
are moving away forms yeah so that's three pound Oh membership due to the conditions of club insurance only members were allowed to be in control of a dog membership costs six pound single all right for the year six pound can't really argue with that can you really six pound for the year so that's a starters class class one class one is so that's this so you do the introduction then the starters the introduction is six weeks starters then every week until you're ready to go move to class one this class
aims to build on the exercises learned in the introduction classes still using fun methods for training handlers will now be given giving and dogs understanding both voice and hand signal commands repeat commands should be eliminated repeat commands should be eliminated and handlers become proficient in the timing of and appropriate warding of their dog okay quite understand that but class content adding Polish to the exercises learned in the early classes include improving heel work further in oh I saw adding Polish I thought it is Polish a Polish and to the exercise
because I why we had in a different language adding Polish to the exercises learned in the earlier classes include improving heel work further increasing the length of stays and then progression dogs move on to class two where off lead work is introduced class two what is that oh we can all we can all enjoy this this together can't we we can enjoy this journey it's a little journey Vinnie's journey of learning to you know I'm talking about you don't you look he just you hear what he said yeah obviously he
keeps saying my name I'm not stupid okay sorry so level two oh come on I clicked on level two and it's got it's not saying from that obviously it's class two overview extending the exercises from class one in queue increasing accuracy in heel work stay and recalls in this class we start to introduce the elements required in competitive obedience to competitive class content off lead heel work recall with a finish I don't know what that means and increasing increased the length of stays progression dogs move on to class three where
discipline is required for obedience competition are refined and reinforced so let's go to class three see what happens there and extending the exercises from the previous one class content building confidence in off lead work a closer heel work a recall retrieve send away increased the length of stays including stand stays and footwork footwork I guess you teach him to dance progression moves on to number five for obedience competitions the class five so class for other oh come on stop messing about don't miss about class four okay class four and this
class content is object retrieval sometimes using different objects longer sendaways longer stays stand stays distance control it's got DC in brackets positions on the move changes in pace a recalls a recalls progression dogs performing at this level are well prepared for obedience competitions so the next one after that is KC KC citizens dog scheme this scheme is operated by the Kennel Club and is by far the largest dog training scheme in the UK its aim is to promote responsible dog ownership and in turn enhance our relationship with our pets and
to make the community aware of the benefits associated with dog ownership there are three levels of awards bronze silver and gold although a Kennel Club scheme your dog does not have to be registered with the Kennel Club to take part the scheme is open to all dogs both pedigree and cross breeds the scheme provides a quality standard of training for dogs and owners and incorporates many domestic obedience exercises dog owners of any fitness levels or disability can take part too the scheme is non-competitive and emphasises is placed on the standard
of achievement CEDTS KEDTS provide training right up to the gold award training standard and the club has access to the number of Kennel Club approved examiners the formal test runs run on designated test evenings I've gone a little bit far ahead with this one haven't I really to be honest maybe maybe I didn't need to go quite as far as this and now you know because you've got the bronze award the silver award and the gold award so this the bronze award is cleanliness and identification each handler must carry with
them some form of poop scoop and all dogs must wear a collar and identification tag the tag must have on it's in it on it the full name of the owner full address included postcode and a telephone number and mobile is a good idea this is law really I don't know that am I definitely identification no I don't I don't have a tag whose name on it or anything or my name on it everyone knows who he is so they'd know where to bring him but say everyone but a lot
of people around here collar and lead put on collar and lead okay why would you need to be have an award for that everyone can do that can't they putting on a collar in a lead unless it's the dog does it themselves walk on lead walk on lead without distraction that's never gonna happen does any dog not get distracted name a dog that doesn't get distracted by cats they're supposed to get distracted by cats controlled walk walk through people and dogs walk on lead passing people and dogs behave in a
controlled way while owner holds a conversation for one minute what do we talk about though I don't know who do you talk to who do you have the conversation with who decides the topic who times it I'm confused grooming the dog grooming inspect to maintain health present our dog you quite a microchip which is registered and if it's a Vinnies microchip but it's still to the old address so I need to I need to get that sorted I might just have a it's just expensive it's different because I've got the
insurance which is 65 quid a month but to take him to the vets for stuff stuff that isn't not not important but the vets ain't cheap you know I mean so analytics YouTube not happy because I've uploaded all my old videos to YouTube well a lot most of the most of the old ones I've lost about five five subscribers already today oh well I keep I've got someone keep asking me what why don't you put back the deep relax and sleep hypnosis daily ones I was like because I'm trying to
do let me boy just sleep and just focus on that but it doesn't seem to please the YouTube people so I've uploaded a lot of the old stuff and I'll continue doing that to every single video that I've ever made is uploaded back onto YouTube and then I will make a video for every single podcast recording that I've done and I'll make them all available on YouTube and then I will once that's all done which is going to take me months and months and months then I'll be up to date
and I will just record videos I'll make you know new videos each day for the latest recording and by that time I have thousands of videos huh and it's now 270 was it 270 270 270 270 270 so far and that's just the tip of the iceberg there's a heck of a lot left to upload so I will do that and then it's a case of doing yeah putting together other videos I'm considering starting to record myself right on video when I make the podcast I'm considering it thinking about it
wondering about it not sure I'm not sure but I might but I might not but I might I think what I need to do is just get all the videos done all updated all uploaded all thousands of them in this world but at least 2,000 videos they'll be and once they're done it's done and then I'll yeah then I'll think about it it's just a case of just yeah I know I'm repeating myself it's a case of just getting getting it all up and then because YouTube used to be my
place it used to be my home my online home the podcasts were almost a secondary thing you know I did I think before 2018 I was using SoundCloud and the previous year I think I got about 200,000 downloads the previous year and so I was pleased with that I thought that was really good for me and that's what 2017 so I was I was happy with that I think it was a previous year it might have been the previous two years I think it was the previous year and considering I
didn't all I did was just post the podcast episodes on or the I did the videos converted them into a podcast and just posted them onto SoundCloud and I just kind of forgot about it didn't take much notice of the stats or anything I just post them on there and let people just listen to them if they wanted my focus was that's not true all actually that's why when I was doing YouTube predominantly up to about 2013 that's how I kind of treated this the podcasts it's like it's a secondary
thing yeah but after 2013 I'll get my dates wrong after 2014 to until now podcast has pretty much been the focus but I was happy with 200,000 a year that was that for me that was phenomenal just that's how it felt it's weird and it's true though I did I was just like wow I'm doing really well I get 200,000 and it's yeah it's weird because just the last 30 days on the let me boys asleep podcast I've had a hundred and twenty-five thousand downloads and on the other podcast the
other podcast I've had last 30 days two hundred and ninety two thousand nine hundred and thirty six plays so well that's three hundred four hundred over four hundred thousand four hundred and thirty thousand or whatever I can't remember what the other one was now but you know just in 30 days compared to 200,000 in the whole year in 2007 2017 rather see yeah man it's I felt was getting about five million a year four to five million a year until my podcast all went went to poo and I lost the
website I lost the podcast and some got deleted I was I had to delete and kind of start all over again on SoundCloud in October last year so it was yeah I actually thought I was gonna lose all of it at one point but I managed to save managed manage manage manage managed to save the all the stuff but you know I just save a lot of the recordings which is good I mean since this year alone I've had six hundred and sixty six thousand two hundred and seventy six plays
on the sleep hypnosis deeply is it hypnosis was sleeping deeply and last year between October to the end of December I had six hundred and four thousand so I have at 1.2 million since October was that November December January February March April May so seven months so it's alright what's one most popular oh yeah it's still the most popular one it's boxing time let me boil you sleep number 1062 23rd of December last year 8607 plays it's a 10 hours one blimey oh well what you want him all that stats
it's weird I don't feel like I've really done much yeah took took the little one out a couple of times three times I think so far and I've had a few visitors as well I had a neighbor knock on the door needed to use my bathroom we didn't use my toilet rubber and said downstairs one was I don't know her one wasn't being was out of use or something I actually blocked it up or something I don't know well there's a plumber down I can't remember sign to do a plumbing
and then another neighbor knocked on my door but I knew she was coming on because I asked her for some tea bags I requested that she deliver them to me no she she was she was she was going somewhere and she said she'd give me she'd bring blah blah blah blah she'd bring me some tea bags on the way back and she wanted to come and see Vinnie anyway because he's she's a his mum so they had a little cuddle in there and then so they were here at the same
time and then I had another neighbor knock on my door one night I wanted to go for a walk in the field with Vinnie and her and her daughter but I said no because I was gonna be I'm going out with a new neighbor for a walk with her dog and him but then she didn't come up back up and she said she was having a nap so I ended up going out on my own just to the park which is fine because the time was going it was like this
was at one o'clock and two o'clock got here then three o'clock got here I'm thinking well it's half past three can't hang around I wasn't sitting waiting I was doing other stuff tidying up to be honest I was trying to bag some rubbish up because this place it's embarrassing I don't mind if people have been here before but someone coming in for the first time I was just embarrassed of how messy it is she offered to come and tidy up for me I thought I might make I don't know I
don't know this means I've got to buy another maid's uniform it's just this is how I live I'm a messy I am just messy but it doesn't bother me but it's embarrassing when other people come in those that know me and they don't care they just like well doesn't matter but one of my neighbors is a hoarder and he came in here a couple of months back and he said oh your place is messy you need to tidy up and I looked at him like what?
I didn't say you were hoarded because I can't say that to him but what my place is messy so there you go it is messy but I'm not a hoarder anything's what I do is I start tidying up and then I stop tidying up but I don't complete the tidying up you know I know people with much more stuff in their in their homes that I've got you know people they can't they can't can't get through the floor because there's so much stuff I'm like I'm not like that it's just
messy there's a lot of stuff because anything that falls on the floor Vinnie just like a piece of paper for example or a yogurt cup or whatever he will convert into about a hundred different pieces and spread it everywhere so you know just the way it is but I will I mean for example there is a packet of dog food that I gave to him I just basically just either it fell off the floor off the off the table fell off the floor yeah the dead it was a gravity issue
so if it fell on the floor or I gave it to him in the packet opened up and let me out of the packet because he likes to do that sometimes you'd have to spend about an hour trying to put it back together because it's so many different pieces like tiny little pieces he has ripped it and destroyed it Hi Vinnie, why are you shaking? Don't shake baby.
So yeah I want to try and put stuff into the storage room I need to get one of these tables out of here maybe go back to where well actually I want to get my exercise bike into here but there's no way to put it so I want to get it maybe I want to get it in here and watch watch television while I'm doing exercise don't laugh it might happen I'm just thinking maybe if I can try and do just build it up do you know over time just add
add a bit more time every day so what's it now May so by the end of the year maybe have maybe be able to do it for three minutes you know something like that just build upon it the thing is someone always silly three minutes but imagine if you add three minutes every year after ten years as that's 30 minutes you can cycle in one go 20 years it's a whole hour 30 years it's an hour and a half 40 years two solid hours non-stop and I'll be 93 years old
how many 93 year olds can cycle for two solid hours hey so you know my reasoning you might think oh three minutes a year is ridiculous ah just added on three minutes every year but it's not so this there's logic to my to my thinking because over 40 years that is two hours bearing in mind after the first ten years it's going up by three this sounds stupid now I keep saying three minutes a year so yeah that's 30 minutes every day so I reckon I might do that because that's
what I did with the was it back in 2004 I decided to not just lose some weight but I just wanted to get fitter I wanted to get more muscular more toned and everything so I decided to do something I'd done previously back in 1999 I think it was 98 99 and there's first of all do as many press-ups as I can many push-ups press-ups push-ups whatever and then add one every day extra not just one but one on top of the amount so let's say I was able to do
10 and the next day I'll do 11 next day I do 12 next day I do 13 like that and I do the same with the sit-ups as well and I keep a little marker of it so to remind myself what I need to do each day and I do that every morning maybe every night as well I can't remember and by the time I got to a hundred I was okay I'm making up it never happened oh I never did it I've never done exercise why are pretending that I
do exercise I don't feel any believe anyone believes me does anyone believe that I've ever done any exercise ever I don't think so I don't think so have you ever done any exercise at all I don't think I don't think so no no I don't think so no no 328 so I've been uploading the let me boy this sleep recordings onto my website Jeff's on newland.com behave yourself otherwise I have to go all the way over there to turn it to turn that buzzer thing on he's asleep and he's barking
even though he's asleep he's he's hearing something it's what it's like an or he's got automatic ears finish friends in the garden so he's now on the windowsill barking so I put him in there just close the door that's his new thing loves to go into the windowsill in the bedroom and watch everyone so he watches people in the other garden over the fence because he can see that and he can see not that I know I don't look over there but he can see it and you can see our
garden the shared garden and other times he just lays there and enjoys the sunshine it's his thing he loves it he's and it keeps him active because it's stimulating for him watching other people he loves it so there now I did do the exercise I did I did I ended up quite fit actually and I did it again so did it in 1999 but I was slim back then anyway I think the one of the neighbors dogs went for one of the neighbors cats I think it's just chasing so all
dogs chase cats generally it's it's a normal thing but you know hey hey hey hey hey ho tired I don't know if I'm gonna be able to sit through all this boxing because there's been two fights since I've been talking and I don't know I mean people are starting to arrive and he's like third three fights before the main fight and he's just only just starting to arrive I mean blimey oh it's gonna take forever so this the next time so I got down to eleven and a half stone and
again I was slim really slim and that's probably perhaps the best I don't know one of the best I've ever looked I guess and then I did the same thing in 2009 I think it was and I was doing boxing so it's in 2004 I was doing the Wing Chun Kung Fu so I was physically active as well as exercising and then in 2009 I was doing boxing twice a week and I was also doing weights as well as doing the sit-ups and stuff and I was at a punch bag
in the garden and again I kind of slimmed down a little bit but put on a fair bit of muscle and just it kind of distributed the weight so that I just looked a bit more bit more like a human a little bit more like a human slightly slightly more like a human yeah so maybe it's time to do it again maybe I don't know maybe I mean I've got everything I need here I've got a sit-up bench I've got the weights well they're dumbbells but they're still fairly heavy I've
got the the weight bench I've got a punch bag I've got a speedball punch bag thing I've also got an exercise bike so I've got everything kind of I need as far as exercise and I've got a couple of strength exercise machine things you know one that you can bend and a chest expander so my dad had both of those when I was a kid and I could never bend it I managed to bend it eventually by the time I was about 14 or 15 14 but it was hard and
this one I've got is got a strap that you put around your wrists so that it can't go loose his one didn't have that safety thing and do it and then it just because I was I struggled to hold it close together it would flip out and bang me in the head and hit me in the face and stuff what's weird is this one it's not hard to do all that's so different the difference in strength compared to when I was 16 15 I tried it again when I was about
17 because he had it still because I lived with him for a little while still still struggled with the thing could do it but it's still hard now it's easy and I don't know it's weird I guess because I mean technically I should be I should be losing my strength shouldn't I in my age I should be weaker than what I was when I was 16 I'm not I'm a lot stronger than I was not as fast not as supple not as spider-like not as acrobatic but stronger although to be
fair I was shadow boxing yesterday and I did a I think just a right punch a right hand punch to the stomach kind of level kind of you know shadow and I felt like pulling muscle with my stomach in my rib cage like ow and I thought that's not good I've actually seen a boxer do that recently I think I don't think it was on YouTube or was an actual fight that I watched but he went to throw a punch and he I don't know what he did but he ripped
a muscle in his side and he lost the fight because of it because he couldn't continue because he was in you know he was on the floor so the he lost and it was just like wow I've never seen that before but he literally went to throw a punch and he...
Vinnie you're gonna stop barking now yeah do you promise good thank you okay you don't gotta lick me it's fine I just want you to stop barking well that's all good boy I wonder if I go to this pet training this dog training thing I can take my microphone and I'll be able to bring my desk along and my laptop and the recording equipment and they can teach him to behave during I wonder if that's part of the program hmm squeaky chair this is getting squeaky ah so yeah this is
all a bit all over the place because I've had a lot of interruptions during this recording him barking is one of the thing main things like quite a few times while I've been trying to do this recording so it's not a lot when I can I can put him into the bedroom and stuff but I don't like to I generally don't like to do that to be honest I like to keep him this is his home this is his place and I don't don't really want to lock him not lock
him but you know put him into a room he can't get out of which is it I might as well put a thousand locks on the outside because he can't get out there's no point putting a thousand locks on the outside but as far as he's concerned it's the same situation because he doesn't know how to use a door handle how can someone not know how to use a door handle ridiculous I'll stop licking that Vinnie stop it stop it so yeah tomorrow's Sunday today's Saturday and yesterday was Friday what's
happening next week I don't know there's any boxing on early hours of the morning there might be you know there might be some like a really good boxing and I've forgotten all about it there's probably boxing on tonight as well somewhere else but who the heck's gonna be watching that other than the supporters of that particular boxer but in TV land you know people at home probably gonna want to watch this one boxing schedule 18th of May so wow one two three four five six seven seven fights I mean that's
a lot and that's not all of them that's not even all of them Wow blimey that's not even all of them do you fight one two three four five six seven eight it's got to be at least eight because I've missed one out on here I don't know why don't know what I've done that wonder why they've done that very strange yeah weird oh there is another fight Navarrete Berinchik and that's on Sky it's the United States so that would be an early as in the morning vacant WBO world lightweight
championship that's mean getting up very early to watch that no I won't be doing that and then Thursday 23rd of May well I do want to watch that one Friday 24th of May which is next week then isn't it I do want to watch that because it's Rosansky against Akoli.
Akoli is British former cruiserweight world champion and this is I don't know why it's got catch weight because actually it's a new world title that they're fighting for and Bridger weight it's a new a new weight rather so Rosansky is one of the title holders of Bridger weights it's basically the weight between cruiserweight and heavyweight because some fighters they're too big for cruiserweight but they're not really big enough for heavyweight so well they are big enough for heavyweight but they're just quite they're not big in the heavyweight division that makes
sense and because in the Olympics the heavyweight division is cruiserweight and professional and in the Olympics super heavyweight is the heavy in the Olympics like I say amateur super heavyweight is heavyweight and professional that's why they make such a big deal about super heavyweight world champions or super heavyweight Olympic champions amateur because they're the ones that going to go on to be heavyweights potentially heavyweight world champions or often they do but the heavyweight world champion or the heavyweight Olympic champions as amateurs don't get the same glory as the super heavyweights
they often go on to then win the cruiserweight world title which I think is what Alexander Usyk did so yeah it's it's a weird one but Akoli he's it'd be good to see him back because he lost his world title but I think he's had an off night to be honest Wada Zhang Wada Zhang is on the 1st of June Bivol what so they put in that now because Bivol against Kyrgyzstvov was for the unified cruiserweight title but now they put Bivol all the way down to near the bottom of
the pile his fight is fighting someone else defending his world light heavyweight title to someone else so instead of being the headliner he's like one two three four down that's not fair and the headline is Wada Zhang which all of them could be headline fights so you know I'm not gonna hardly argue on that one but surely Bivol should be the headline if he was gonna be headline before just because his opponents pulled out surely he should still be the headliner because he is pound-for-pound one of the greatest boxers at
the moment pound-for-pound Bivol he is Wada isn't and Zhang isn't just they happen to be heavyweights and it's a much more exciting fight to be honest two of the biggest punches in boxing Wada and Zhang like phenomenal so it'll be it's gonna be a good one so I'm doing this for all this talking saying Bivol should be the top but Wada Zhang is the one that I'm looking forward to probably most on that night Dubois Hergovich as well and Ford versus Ball that's another one Bivol versus Zined I don't know
Zined but I've been following Bivol for years for a while anyway and he is it's a weird one because if he was to fight I forget his name now the who's got most of the belts of light heavyweight and every single fight is won by knockout I kind of in a way don't want to see the both of them fight each other because I like both of them equally for different reasons Bivol is a master practitioner in boxing absolutely spot-on and he outboxed Canelo Alvarez and to outbox Canelo Alvarez you got a pretty pretty amazing
to do that only one other person has ever done that and that was Mayweather so hmm Iglesias is fighting Shninko Wow maybe he's given a taking a break from his music career.
Broner Broner is coming back who the funk it well it's not a lot coming on oh yeah so Tank Davis is fighting 15th of June you're joking me this is ridiculous how could David Benavidez be on the undercard of any for any this is ridiculous David Benavidez Benavidez David Benavidez is the only fighter that anyone wants to see Canelo fight no one wants to see him fight anyone else they're not interested they want to see him fight David Benavidez but David Benavidez has gone up to light heavyweight because he's waited
around for so long he's unbeaten two times super middleweight champion of the world and he held the interim title as well but a third time unbeaten and I think he's the best the probably going up to light heavyweight is he's going up against two pound-for-pound greats in Bivol and so I can't remember his name he shouldn't be on the undercard it should be his his that's a I think I tell you what's happening now Dubai because of these big big fights where they put in all these like nearly every fight
is a headline a fight and it's a little bit like a comedy show I don't kind of like a charity gig where every every act is whether it's a musical performer or comedy performer they're all top top-notch people like Live Aid for example I'm not comparing this box into Live Aid I'm just saying like you had everyone all the top people at the time were on stage and now Dubai has started to put on shows where pretty much all of this all of most of the the fights are between people
that would be headlining their own shows and they're putting them all on one show and they've done a few now and now America are starting to realize all and I think the UK also other countries thinking people are not going to be satisfied to just to pay for a fight with people they don't know who they are which is a shame because everyone was unknown at some point weren't they all that you know I remember when Deontay Wilder oh oh oh that's the end of his career he won't be fighting
again it stopped has it been stopped yeah it's been stopped okay that's a shame Kovalev he used to be light heavyweight champion and it's just being stopped by Safar and so what was I saying oh yeah so the different countries yeah that everyone everyone was unknown at some point when Deontay Wilder was coming up he was almost ridiculed they were saying oh what's this skinny basketball player in the ring for he's just a one-hit wonder he's just a mimic he's like a he's some kind of joke and okay he can
punch hard but so what wait until he gets in the ring with someone that could fight back and wait until he gets in the ring with someone then oh he can't box he's never gone past six rounds well proved all those people wrong and I think he defended his world title ten times I think eleven times ten or eleven times before he came up against Tyson Fury and in his when he won the world title he said purposely he won on points just to prove his detractors that he could box
and then people saying yeah yeah yeah you just couldn't knock him out well they had a rematch a little while later what a year or two later and he knocked him out instantly so it's I'm not 100% sure what my point is here there might be a point there might not it's not always the point is there yeah the good old I hope he hasn't caught any bugs when we've been out because there's a lot of grass grass is very long when it starts to get nice well it was raining
but then it became quite nice quite warm warmish but because we have such humidity in this country it's very swampy isn't it it's kind of like a I don't know maybe I don't know if you really like we like the world's groin very very swampy and very very damp very just or an armpit or something to spit I mean 80% humidity or something we have in this country and we just checked that because I made it up what is humidity level England average annual humidity levels in England are it's going
from different places we'll go to London because I'm not that far from London is 92% high 70% low and according to whatever inside you came inside UK homes should be around the 50 to 55 percent humidity range slightly lower in winter months I mean that's moisture isn't it that's moisture surely they shouldn't be that much moisture in the air 92% 70% that seems like a awful lot of moisture what is it okay let's have a look what is the humidity level in where am I thinking of where does Milton Erickson
live Milton Erickson Erickson desert I forget where is the level in you USA desert humility what is the range of Barham what's that science in shut up stop it average humidity values for six different deserts research gate so average research this isn't quite as easy to read as I thought it was gonna be who silly Pardini's Danielle no I can't read it I can read it but I don't understand it humidity 10 to 15 so the humidity is a lot less in a desert is it desert climate the dice desert
climate or arid climate in the Koppen climate Calabria okay I actually had a book with the name of the desert on it pretty sure I did it was a Milton Erickson book where is it Milton Erickson there's a desert desert Arizona okay Arizona I was gonna put Arizona what's the humidity level in Arizona 38 to 39.5% well lower isn't it well lower than here Phoenix okay that's what I was looking for Phoenix the average level in Phoenix is I was going from December the most humid month is December is about
51% June is 19% annual average 36% what do we say about the UK so 36% in in in all in all 51 or down to 36 to down to 19 so 36 on average 36 on average so I put in England again it was what 70 to 70 to 90 or something wasn't it what's he doing humidity where's he gone because the average bought the average humidity London nights at 70 low 92 high so Arizona because Milton Erickson was told to move to Arizona or somewhere like that because of his
asthma and apparently the drier the air is the better is for asthma I think so the less humidity what all that's like because I noticed that by putting Spain Spain I noticed that when I went to Spain although I was only there for the afternoon it felt different it felt it just felt different like it just I had to explain it that the heat the air just felt a lot different to being in the UK because I must have gone there probably May May time maybe May June April May I
can't remember May yeah maybe May so May is about 55 or whatever May June 55 56 compared to the 70 so yeah that's why isn't it because it's a lot it's a lot less it's lowest in August but then it might have been different back into in what 1988 no 1989 1989 Wow those were the days a when I was pretty young and a young a young boy with my whole life ahead of me now never mind that but yeah I used to be young used to be it was lovely
oh it was yeah cool so this is it this is me just shooting from the hip I think today just a bit of a chat about nothing I mean you might say yeah well compared to what what different in what way this is what you normally do maybe maybe I'm feeling a bit hungry if I'm honest I could do some food so I'm gonna guess I'm probably gonna put a pizza in the oven and have that for my my din-dins and then probably not eat it all at once not all
not all at once maybe some but not all and then I will try and save some for later because it's now it's a time now it's ten to seven in the evening so there's still about five fights left so I reckon or the four five six seven three hours there's been one two three four I'm losing track to be honest with you I'm wondering if I missed one I hope I didn't because it's one of the ones that I really wanted to watch but he's he is quite new Moses Tamur
so I hope that he's next because otherwise I fear that I've missed it I'm gonna have to watch it on repeat and he's potentially a future heavyweight great so we're gonna see so that's it really I'm gonna go thank you everyone for supporting what I do supporting you know watching list listening watching but listening and without you there'd be no point me doing this so thank you and I intend to complete what I can complete to continue making daily recordings so and I will do a Q&A Friday Q&A Friday Friday
Q&A yeah Q&A Friday next Friday he's making a lot of noise he has to be touching me as long as he's touching me like his bums against him or his back or his legs he seems to be happy as long as he's part of him is touching my foot it's I quite like it just I kind of feel that maybe he likes me a little bit that's my little baby isn't it so I'm really interested in seeing if I can get the jab the jab stuff from his former mum or
his mum I still call her his mum and or if I've got them somewhere on a computer and then try and get him booked on to the training which starts next month I think I'll be good for both of us it might bring us closer together maybe me learning more about him maybe he'll learn a bit more about me I don't know because I'd love to go to let him off the lead and know that he's safe because that's the most important thing to me you know I want him to
be happy running around but I also I just really need him to be safe so I'm gonna go and turn the oven on so thank you for listening remember remember remember to be kind to yourself be gentle with yourself lots of love bye
