Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name is Jason Newland. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.

Before I start, I'd just like to say a big thank you to Tammy and Joanne for your PayPal gifts. Thank you very much. So I actually, a few hours ago, well I don't even know how long ago it was, it's not too long ago, I recorded a new deep sleep whisper hypnosis recording for the first time, I was going to say in ages but it's a month, last time I did one.

So it's number 515 ASMR deep sleep whisper hypnosis 29th of May 2024. Be kind to yourself. I actually recorded it and uploaded it because it was, I did it quite early in the afternoon so there was time to sort of process it, edit it and all that stuff.

So I just thought I'd do something up the ante as it were. I'm now, I'm now into a fairly good rhythm of making one of these every day. Apart from the other night when, to be honest, there was no way out.

Yeah, I just didn't have, after, after having my neighbor here for quite a few hours and then a couple of other neighbors coming up as well. So it was, I was a bit too tired, plus I'd already made a recording that I didn't release whilst she was here. So the idea of like recording another one at 10 o'clock or half 10 was just like, no.

But I did one last night and I'm doing one now. And the stats, as always, are a bit weird, just weird. They go up and down.

It's, it's very strange, like on the Hypnosis for Sleep and Deeply podcast, it's just weird. It's weird the way that they go through. For example, for the last 30 days, I've had 348,355 plays in the last 30 days.

So the April 30th to May the 29th, which is today. Yeah. And the last seven days, I've had 50,332.

Now what's weird? What's weird is this. On what we now Wednesday, Tuesday, Monday. So Monday I had 5,833 plays on their podcast, which is the 27th.

Yesterday I had 21,460 plays. And today so far 3,855. I mean, it's just gone 20 past seven.

So still another four or five hours left. So that would probably be 5000 or something, maybe, maybe more at the end of the day. It's just really strange, just the way it goes up and down.

And it's not even, it's not very easy to really predict. That makes sense. Just kind of strange, just strange is it's strange.

Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad, what am I doing? What's going on? That's weird. So, so far. All right, so far this year, from January to now, was that January, February, March, April, so five months, about 787,500 plays.

The half is 560. But yeah, so 787,560 plays. So that's, that's not too bad.

So it's definitely going up. I mean, even January, I was getting 4000, sometimes some days 1000, 2000, 3000, some days 6, 7000. One day in January, I had 11,843.

And then went down again. Blimey, 22nd of February, I only had 582. 12th of February, 460.

And that's really, really low. In fact, 15th of January, 81 plays, doesn't even register on it. It's just like 81.

And again, I had really low every now and then to get a low one. But then as the lower ones have got higher, that makes sense. Bearing in mind, I had to reestablish this podcast.

This isn't the Let Me Bore You To Sleep one. This is the hypnosis for sleeping deeply. And it's where all the different podcasts are on there.

So it's just, yeah, since April, it's grown a lot. And so the last 12 months in October, I had 240,000 plays, November 253. Now, to be fair, this December and January, I don't think I was particularly active, possibly February as well, for a few reasons.

And then I kind of got my act together a little bit in April. And this month, May. So December, I had 111,000 plays 98,000 in January, February 66,000, March 85,000.

And then April 189,000. And this month, it's not quite finished yet. But so far 348,000 355.

So that's, it's definitely growing. But you know, for those for the first three months of the year, or December, January, February, I was kind of not out of action, but a little bit out of action. A little bit.

I don't think I really did a huge amount. I wasn't really able to, but managed to pull it back. So there you go.

With the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast. Again, I have like, it's a lower amount, because it's only, it's just a Let Me Bore You To Sleep. It's not none of the other, like Deep Sleep Whisperer or any of the hypnosis stuff.

But even still, you know, it's not bad 144,000 for the last 30 days, 144,000 plays. And the best I had was May the 10th 12,680. And since October, 702,000.

This year so far 353,000. So it's all right. It's all right, to be fair.

It's again, October was busy because I uploaded all the stuff. November was fairly good 60,000. December went right down to 27, 24 in January, and started to go up again 50,000 in February 71,000 March, April down a bit 62,000 and 144,000 this month.

So there's the stats. See, I like to keep you updated. What I've been doing today is very much focusing on trying to finances really, I know it's a little bit boring, supposed to be boring.

But it's, yeah, I try and let you know what's going on in my life and what I'm actually doing. And that is what I've spent the day doing. Organizing my finances and working out exactly how much I have to pay out how much I've got coming in.

And yeah, it's weird. So I've got all on my wall now. I've got all the like the monthly I've got the goal of what I want to pay off by the end of the year.

And then the goal I want to be paid off by June next year. And then there's a list of bills direct debits that come out. The first of the month is quite a big one because I have the TV license.

It's £13 that's on the first of every month. Council tax £21. Electric and gas £135.

And then I have the the water bill, which is every three months. So depending on what that is, that comes out on the first of the month as well. And then the seventh of the month, I got £52.14, which is for the mobile phone and the internet.

It's just a SIM card for the phone and for some so I'm not paying for the actual phone. And the broadband, which is again a mobile broadband. Is it a mobile broadband? Yeah, it's mobile.

Yes, mobile broadband is not connected to the to the landline. So that's the seventh on the eighth of the month, every month, pet insurance. So Andre, Andre Finney's insurance.

I've been watching some videos of Andre. That's why Vinnie's insurance £67 on the eighth of the month, every month. And then I've got the Apple cloud, which is where my recordings are stored.

So when I do the editing, I upload them to the cloud. And then it saves them and then I do stuff like that. So it's it keeps them safe while I'm editing and, you know, so it's that way if the the iPad breaks or crashes or whatever, I don't lose what I've done, don't lose the the recordings.

And I can also open the iCloud on a laptop and download stuff there as well, which is what I do when it gets a little bit full. But I think I've got two terabytes on there. And on the 30th, Now Entertainment, which is the Sky package, which is £5.99 a month, basically offered me a deal months and months ago, half price, but I had to sign up for six months.

So I thought, okay, I don't remember doing it, to be honest, but so I'm signed up until I don't even know when. So it's just I'm kind of stuck in a contract with them. But it's half price.

So it's, it's all right, I suppose, but I don't use it that often, really. It's because I've got adverts, I don't like the adverts. And then you've got the podcast costs, I've got SoundCloud, which is £20 a month, £10 each.

So what I've done is if I can, I can share this all with you. See, I share everything. I share everything with you.

It's because I love you. I love you. Okay, I'll close this up.

That's Q&A Friday. Oh, by the way, I've got Q&A Friday coming up this Friday. Just please go to my Jason Newlands boring group.

And it will tell you there is a there's a page on there or no page. There's a post I posted about this week. So please leave a message.

I've got one less message from Ben. So thank you for that. One message one question from Ben.

Actually, there's a couple of questions. And it's really weird when I read them. I just want to answer straight away.

So and what I've done is I have is basically, here's the the stuff I owe. The credit card, the main credit card I got, I owe £2,941. They've agreed for me to pay £100 a month.

And not forever, but for now, and they've not got back to me. So I've been paying £100 every month, as long as I pay it by a certain date, I think it's a D. I do have the date somewhere to be honest with you somewhere. I don't know where.

And they did say they might sell the debt on. Well, they have the right to sell the debt on, which means I'd have bailiffs come around. But it's, I don't see why they would need to if it's basically they've stopped, they've stopped the interest.

So they're not making any money off me. But they're getting the money back that I used, plus all the interest that I'd accrued, because out of that probably 40% of it is probably interest, maybe 50%. Okay, 40%, maybe.

And that was accrued over about a year. It's weird, because £1,000 of that was spent on putting someone up in a hotel that was homeless, which is weird. There's my friend downstairs, he put this bloke up, and they fell out, like really fell out, had an argument or something.

And this, the bloke that he was, that my friend was putting up, was the brother of someone I went to university with. So I knew him. Didn't know him well, but I knew him.

I've been around his house in the past. And, you know, met his wife, his kid, and I've met his mum, who was my friend's mum as well, obviously, because I had a brother and sister. So I kind of, and they fell out, and he was, he was already homeless.

And then, I say homeless, he'd split up with his wife, and he had nowhere to stay. Which is, that he's homeless, isn't it? But he wasn't living on the streets at this point. And I didn't want him to.

So I put him up in a bed and breakfast hotel thing. So it was Holiday Inn, I think it is. And yeah, it's like a grand, £1,000 it cost.

I don't know how many days he got for that, or how many nights he got. But I included meals as well, and paid ahead. And also gave him spending money.

So I kind of broke into the credit card to do that. And then, it's a bit like they say that when you're drinking, you know, you break the seal after the first two pints, and then you have to keep going to the toilet to do wee-wees. It was a little bit like that.

And then I had more people asking for help, and I was just using it like a, like a cash dispenser. But it isn't. I was literally drawing money out.

And then, my bank stopped my card, like my debit card, they stopped me being able to use it to order groceries. And I went through a big kerfuffle. I don't know if I ever mentioned it.

And it took quite a while. I had to go into the bank and sort it out. And it was just, they kept saying it was sorted now, but it wasn't sorted.

And so I was using the credit card to buy groceries. And I'll be honest, sometimes I'd forgotten I'd had the credit card set up. So I was buying the groceries and thinking, oh, I've still got quite a bit, well, I've still got money in my bank.

That's quite good. Doing quite well this month. I did not realise that I'd actually spent the money of the credit card.

And there you go. So it's no one's fault but mine. So it's fine.

I'm paying £100 a month. I want to get it paid off. And the very the catalogue.

Okay. The catalogue. Well, that's £2,364.

Now, I mean, I'm not really into like fault blaming stuff, but it is all mine. It's all on me. So it's, it's no one else's fault at all.

I just don't want it to be mine either, to be honest. I don't like being blamed. Not even when it's me to be blamed.

So the catalogue £2,364. It's on my wall. Maybe I shouldn't have it on my wall because I've got a tendency to keep looking over there.

But that's how much I owe on that one. The main thing that I owe for is the laptop, which I bought ages and ages ago. And it costs £2,700.

So really, it was a good laptop. But I needed something that wouldn't keep crashing because I do so much on it. It's hard to explain like, well, why would you spend that much on a laptop? Well, I didn't.

I did, but I didn't, you know, I kind of was going to spend four years paying it off, which I kind of have. I've had it for a couple of years now, I think. So maybe longer.

So I've been paying that off every month. And then I wanted to help every now and then I help people. It only sound like I'm some wonderful person helping people out because I'm not.

But I do have a tendency of wanting to help people. There's something wrong with me. And so my new neighbour literally had nothing, had no cooker, had no microwave, even a microwave, but had no, yeah, she just didn't have anything in the kitchen.

And I just laugh, well, it's just wrong. It's just wrong. It's just, it's, it doesn't seem fair, you know? I don't know, I just, I don't like seeing people going hungry and whatever.

So what I did is I ordered a, a cooker, a fridge freezer and a microwave and a toaster and a kettle because she literally didn't have anything now and she didn't have any money either because she's, she paid, spent all her money getting her, her belongings sent here and she wasn't living in a flat before she was in a room. So she didn't need like things like kettles and stuff like that and cookers.

So, so I've got that.

I mean, she said she's going to pay it back. I didn't really get for her to pay it back. I just wanted to help.

And, and I realised that that'd make some people angry. It's like, well, you got yourself into this situation. Why are you helping people when you can't afford to? But you know what? I sleep quite well, I sleep quite well at night as far as, apart from when I don't.

No, but I've, it feels nice helping people. Is that weird? Is that really a weird thing? And I don't have attachment to money, although I'm going to have to really, well, today I've started to look at it and think, well, I've got to sort it out because the, the government are talking about cutting down benefits and, and so there'll be maybe less money coming in. Not that there's a huge amount anyway.

So, you know, I have to go through that. So I thought I might try and get it sorted as soon as possible. And so there's that Argos.

So I got my Argos. So these are things, forgetting the credit card, because although, you know, probably 1300 of that went on my friend, my friend, my, you know, my, my friend's brother, because I gave him some money, some cash. I bought him some clothes as well.

Actually, I got that from the catalog. So I bought him, he didn't have any socks, underwear. I got him some tops and some trouts, tracksuit bottoms, and just basic stuff, you know, to have.

He didn't have anything because he, it's like he left where he lived and he didn't have anything with him. So I bought him a few bits and bobs. And I didn't pay for them, I got them from the catalog.

So that added a little bit onto that as well. So it probably came to about 1300 pound altogether for him. And then another, another friend had needed to go and visit a family member who was really ill.

So he had 100 quid off me or something. And I was constantly helping my friend downstairs, pay bills, pay his, I mean, I paid his telephone bill, probably about six months out of the year for the last year, not this year, but, you know, last year, and it just, it wasn't, he didn't ask me to do it either. It just, it had run out.

They'd cut him off, so he couldn't use it. And then he'd come up and want to use my phone. And because my sleeping pattern was different to his, it was just, he'd phone someone up and then wait for them to call back, like, no, I'm not, I'm not your receptionist.

I would think to myself, wouldn't say out loud, no I would. And so I'd get his phone back on because he needed it. The amount of doctor's appointments and other stuff that he needed to be contactable.

Also, he liked to call his family and all that, you know, and talk to them and stuff. So I didn't want him to be without a phone. It's a necessity now.

And maybe a phone was always a necessity, like in the house. I think it always has been for, you know, probably a hundred years or whatever. So mobile phones have kind of taken the place of the landlines, I'd say, and they're going to be soon because they're moving over from analogue to digital landlines, which is not going to affect me because I don't have a landline.

So it doesn't matter if it doesn't affect me. No, I just don't have a landline. I've got no need.

I've had landline for years with the internet, previous internets I've had, but I've never, what's the point in having it? Just don't, never needed to use it. So you've got so that's the catalogue. So I'm going to try and pay that off.

I've got a little credit card. It's the same size as the other one, but it's got, it's only got 500 pounds on there. So 499 pound in debt on that one.

And that I basically got into debt with because of my tooth. When I had to have my tooth extracted, that came to over 250 quid plus taxis there and back. So I was all over the place.

So about 300 pound, roughly, it came to the amount of money it cost me to have my, for the dental treatment and the whole falafel, kebab or whatever you want to call it. So I was doing quite well with that. And then last month, was it last week to get through, I needed to draw a hundred pound off of it.

So, you know, between that and this, it kind of taken up to the 499 and it's cash. So they charge you an extra, like, I think charge like 30 pound for a hundred pound cash extra. So it's kind of silly really, but so that's done it.

That was done. And yeah, so that's it. And then I've got the, so I'm going to work on paying that off as well.

At the moment, it's a direct debit. It goes off once a month. They just take the minimum amount off and it does.

It goes down eventually, but I'd like to just clear it. And then the last one is the Argos card, which is like a catalog shop in the UK where you basically go in. It's not, it's no longer physical catalogs.

They're like computer screens now. So you can, it's a bit like being on the internet or being on their website, I guess. Normally I just order online and there hasn't been a huge amount of stuff.

I can't even think of why 183 on Argos. What did I even buy? Oh yeah. Yeah.

It's when the new girl downstairs moved in, she's only 19. She moved down downstairs, the first new one to move in. And she moved in, I think a week off or two weeks after Luke moved out kind of, you know what I mean? And she, within a week she was getting attacked, like someone's trying to kick her door in like early hours of the morning, which scared the hell out of her.

Scared everyone really, because it was really loud. I stayed up here because I'm a scaredy cat. And she already had, she'd already given me her number because she was having asthma attacks and seizures and stuff.

So it's too much information, but I'm just saying she, she wasn't very well. So I had a number and her dad has my number as well. So he can contact me to sort of check up on her and stuff like that.

And she, I mean, I called an ambulance at least twice in the first few weeks of her being here, I think. Yeah, twice, yeah. And she, so she rung me up.

Someone's trying to kick my door in. So I go down with Vinnie because I knew Vinnie would protect us. And it's vicious, you know, don't, don't, don't, don't just because he's little, just because he's little.

And the person had gone. So what I did, the next day I ordered cameras, door cameras for everyone in the building pretty much apart from the person who wasn't like my friend's flat that was now empty. So there's no one living in there.

So I didn't get a camera for that door. And I didn't get a camera for someone living upstairs who was away. So he wasn't around.

So I didn't get one for him. So I've got four ring doorbell cameras. And they were on special offer and I was 60 quid each.

So yeah, that was in was that December, I think. So that's Yeah, that's what I'm paying off. So 60 60 120 240.

So it's about 240. Now it's down to 183. So I'm just paying off bit by bit.

And there might have been something on there before, probably. And I was getting Luke a phone every like three months as well, because he kept losing his phone. They're only cheap ones that I was getting sort of 40 pound or something.

But I'd literally just bought him a new one. For 40 pound, he'd only had it about a week. But yeah, so that's that's the stuff on there.

I can't think of anything else that I got from Argos. And no, that's it, because my Argos card has run out. The date's gone on it.

So I can't even use the card, I can log in to pay to pay for stuff to pay the bills, but I can't actually order anything online. Unless I pay you know, with a credit card or debit card. So yeah, so that's it.

So that's what I'm doing. That's what I'm working on. That's what I'm working with.

This is boring, isn't it? So what I've done is I've had to figure out what can I do? What changes? You know, if I take this seriously, what changes can I make? So what I've done is I've cancelled quite a few things. Most of it is to do with the podcasting and things that perhaps I don't necessarily need. I mean, I like to have them and it makes what I do more enjoyable for me.

But perhaps I don't, you know, need it for a little while. So the first thing is chat GTP, GPT, GPT. And that's $24 a month.

So that was that runs out on the ninth of June. So I've cancelled that. I'm good.

I mean, there is a free version. And there are other I mean, I use that to help me to create images and to help me to write a description for the podcasts. And based on the transcripts, it reads the transcript.

So I'm no longer going to be doing that. But I can use there are other ways of creating images and stuff. So and the other thing is Canva.

So Canva is something that I use to create the images and also to make videos. That's $12.99 a month. I've cancelled that as well.

I've had that for a few years now. And so I won't be making videos, any more videos outside of if I make a video, it'll just be me. Like on camera, there won't be any more other kind of videos that I'm going to be making.

And I won't be making any video any images. And again, there is a I do have the I will have the free version. So there are still stuff I can do, but just not the kind of stuff that I've been doing.

So you know, like, deleting the background off of images and manipulating things and stuff like that. That's kind of gone for a while. I'll come back to it in the future.

So that runs out of further June, YouTube $12.99 a month, I've cancelled that. That runs out on the 8th of June. Now, for me, I like YouTube because there's just so so much knowledge on now like, like listening to the audio books, ad free, because I know some people are saying $12.99 for YouTube, it's free.

It is with adverts. Without adverts, it's $12.99. And it's hard to go back after you've, if you've had advert free, if you go premium, it's very difficult to go back. I just it just is because there's that constant interruption.

And Vinnie's staring at me. So the next thing I've got rid of, I've cancelled is TurboScribe, which is $20 a month. And it runs out on the 10th of June.

Now TurboScribe is what I use to transcribe all of my recordings. And I've I have transcribed well, I did had until a couple of days ago, transcribed every single Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast. So I'm hoping to go back to that in the future.

Because I was planning half heartedly planning to try and write some kind of a book based on the transcripts. So that's gone for now. Netflix, I've cancelled that which runs out 15th of June, that's 10.99 pounds.

And the next is the Amazon Music 11.99 a month, which runs out on the 7th of June. That's, that's going to be a challenge. Because I do listen to Amazon Music every day.

The albums and even at night, I'll listen to music, like classical music and stuff. But it's okay. I mean, I can still listen to it with adverts.

I just can't. It's just you know, without adverts, it costs. So I've cancelled that, that's the 7th of June.

I've cancelled my Amazon, which is 8.99 a month, runs out on the 4th of June. The thing with Amazon is, I can't get the food deliveries from Morrison's if I haven't got Amazon. But what this will do is force me to go out and go to the shops myself, like to the supermarkets.

So it's kind of part of my plan to get a bit fitter and everything. So I'm going to be whoops, I'm going to be going and buying stuff. And there's a couple of things I could do, I could go into all the way into town, go to Iceland, buy the stuff, and then get it delivered to me.

Or I can just walk up, and it's like halfway to town, there's a shopping centre area, I could go there and maybe go to one of the supermarkets and get go there like every day, or every couple of days and get something and bring it back. So we'll see. And also, yeah, to me, yeah, Amazon.

I don't really use Amazon. There's a few programs I do like on Amazon. When I watched a movie today on Amazon, it was really good.

But it's not that much on Amazon. There's so much old stuff on there. And they mixed the rough with the smooth as it were.

It's very muddled, very muddled platform. But then there is free delivery, which is handy. But because I won't be buying anything.

No, I mean, it's just things like poo bags and some dog food and treats and things like that for him. But again, I can get that from the from the pet shop. And so next, so that's cancelled.

Kindle Unlimited. I got that. I haven't only had that for one month.

So I've cancelled it. 8th of July runs out. I got a special offer, which was $9.49 a month.

But it was discounted for three months or something. So that runs out the 8th of July. Ring that was that I had for the the door thing.

Oh, the council said we had to take them off. So I don't even have mine up. So it's $4.99 a month.

So that's cancelled 25th of June. That cancels. I spent ages trying to figure out a way to cancel that couldn't find out how eventually I did it took ages to kind of just some things that they make it complicated.

You know, sometimes it's just a really I think some of the websites, these companies, they make it as complicated as possible to cancel so that people just give up. And if enough people give up, can they just like, Oh, well, it's only a couple of months. And they get you know, it's only $4.99 a month and they get loads and like millions of pounds coming, I guess.

So if there's millions of people, the next one is for Nord security, which is the basically it's internet security for the laptop and for anything I use the internet on and stops me getting hacked and stops the just basically protects everything. So that's $14.99 a month. So I've cancelled that ends on the 12th of June.

So it's all together is is it should allow me to pay off the stuff that I need to pay off by the end of the year. Pay off the Argos 183 pay off the small credit card for 99 499 the catalog 2364. So that should be I want to get that paid off by the end of the year.

And then start working and I'll still be paying 100 pound a month anyway off of the other credit card. So it's that June, July, August, September, October, November, December. So 700 pound off of there, which means it will be 2200 to pay off off of the other credit card by January, which will just be if I just pay I should be able to get that off done by June.

If I pay just everything I've got just off just to get it done. And then I'll cut that card up and I'll be gone. But I'll keep the little card once I paid that off the 499 one for emergencies, such as having my tooth fixed or whatever, or paying the the what do they call it? I should know this being in having been in insurance for multiple years.

And my insurance covers Vinnie or his insurance covers Vinnie for lots of different things, but there's an excess. So I'd have to pay an excess in order for him to be seen. Hopefully he won't need to be seen.

But you know, just in the in an emergency situation, or well, just any, any situation really. So that that is it. So I've got a list of all the payments I should be getting between now and the end of December.

I haven't really I haven't done the ins and outs yet. I've done the outs. And I've done the ins for a month.

But I haven't kind of worked out what's left. Because I'm a little bit scared that there'll be nothing left. And I won't be able to pay anything off.

So I'll kind of just left it with the hope with the positivity. Very much very positive. So yeah, it's good.

So I've got it all. I've got like 123456789 10 11 12 13 14 15. 15 pieces of paper on the wall.

And all kind of separated at different things. Took me a few hours to put all that together. So maybe I'll do a little bit more tomorrow.

Just want to get more organized. I like being organized. But I haven't been very organized for quite a while.

I'm not sure why I just I don't know, just haven't just haven't haven't haven't. And maybe I mean, I've been quite organized as far as making a recording in the evening, editing and uploading process and all that stuff in the morning. So that that's been quite consistent.

You know, for the last well over a month nearly, maybe longer. I'm not sure but even April I was doing it as well. But not now wasn't was I? I think it's only this month I started doing that.

That routine. I mean, I think in April, I was making a recording and then doing all the editing and being absolutely knackered at the end of it. Wanting to go to bed, but no, no can't go to bed yet.

I've uploaded all of them. So now I don't have that problem because I'm doing it when I wake up. Which is weird because this morning, I went to bed at about 10 past 10 yesterday evening.

So it wasn't late. So nice time for me about 10 o'clock. Woke up at just before seven.

That's a long, that's a long time in bed. I think I got up a couple of times to the toilet, you know, just like normal. I mean, the thing I mistake I make, but I can't help it that my medication gives me a bit of a dry mouth.

So I do drink quite a bit of water. And especially in the evening when I've taken the medication is like. So when I go to bed, I drink possibly too much water after I've like cleaned my teeth and emptied me bladder and all that stuff.

I'll drink a bunch of water and I'll go to bed and then I'll wake up needing to go to the toilet. And I go to the toilet, empty my bladder and I get back and I have another big bunch of water again because I'm thirsty again. Because I don't like laying down and being thirsty because I'm like, oh, especially if Vinnie's lying against my back and I don't want to disturb him.

And yeah, well, you know, stuff like that. So today, I mean, technically it's been quite a good day. I mean, I've actually accomplished a couple of things.

I made a recording, a deep sleep whisper recording. And I have got a little bit more organized. It's all steps.

And I had a phone call, man, I had a phone call that I missed. And it was from the diabetic prevention program. Diabetes prevention program.

Wow. I mean, they've already sent me an app and stuff and had a phone in me. And they sent me a text message.

Then they sent me an inbox to my email. Good morning. We tried calling you today from the Healthier You NHS diabetes prevention program.

You are now able to book your initial assessment and an upcoming group by logging in here. You can call the patient support team directly on blah, blah, blah number. Well, I kind of want to see my doctor first.

Is that is that strange? I mean, it's okay is 714. It's three weeks away. But I mean, the doctor said, well, not the doctor, but the receptionist who gave me the test results of blood results said, Oh, it's not really.

It's not that it's not that urgent. It's fine. You just pre pre diabetic and you know, you're going to need to make lifestyle lifestyle choices, diet choices, stuff like that.

But you can discuss it with the doctor. It's not that it's not an emergency. So you can you can have your appointment, which was like for over four weeks away from when I spoke to them.

But now I'm thinking, why do I keep getting contacted by the diabetic prevention society? What do they know? What do they know? So yeah, we'll see. What's that on there? Looks like so good. I am going to cut down, I will be cutting down on sugar.

I will be changing my diet. I already am. But gradually, I like to gradually do things.

I'm not a big like straight away, do everything, change everything right now. That doesn't necessarily suit me. I like the I like the I suppose, you know, like, you know, like painting by numbers.

Stopping eating sugar by numbers. I just gradually, gradually bit by bit. So did it did it did it did it did it did it? What's this? Oh, what am I doing? So a quick look at the Jason Newlands boring group.

So I've got 163 members. Hi. If you want to join, join.

Come along. So Ben, as I put a post high or any questions for this week's Q&A Friday. Ben is asked, What's your biggest regret? And where do you want to be in 2034? Old timer? Oh, and what holiday plans? You thinking now you've got Vinnie? What? Okay, right.

Also, are you happy? So I will answer those questions on Friday. Thank you, Ben for that. I kind of want to answer now, but I won't.

So what are we doing? What are we doing here? Oh, tired. So did I tell you my friend came around? I haven't seen him for quite a few weeks. Pop around last night and Vinnie was in ecstasy.

So happy to see him. And yeah, I think I did mention it. So yes.

So my recording was a little bit later than normal. But today I'm doing fairly good for time. Because I started what just after seven.

And it's now 12 minutes past eight. So it's 54 minutes on the clock. So I don't know.

I never usually start straight away. So yeah, it's it's kind of weird. It's just feels strange having done a deep sleep whisper hypnosis recording.

Because the last time I did one of them was a month ago, which is 514 514 deep sleep, deep sleep, whisper. So let's have a look. What are you doing? That's weird.

Deep sleep, whisper, deep sleep, whisper. And all right, 10 hours. That's it was April the 18th.

So yeah, it's just over a month. 1235 plays on that one. Oh, it does have an image.

Oh, good. slowing time in your mind. You blood I was gonna say it's nine hours long, nearly 10 hours long.

But that's because there's a 10 hour version. Well, sometimes I'm so quick. I wonder how long this one was.

I was only 20 minutes and 54 minutes. The one I did today was much longer than that. It was 34 minutes and 58 minutes.

There was a time when I used to do the deep sleep whisper hypnosis recordings every day. You know, pretty regular. Because it's not the only reason but it was one of my most popular podcasts.

Out of all of them. That was one that would regularly get like 1000s of plays every day. This is back in the old days when I was getting well, to be fair, I'm probably getting still getting the same amount as what I was back then.

But there was a period of time when I was getting I reached over 900,000 one month. That was Yeah, generally 300,000 was about average. And I've reached that on this podcast.

So that's, that's okay. So I'm okay with that. Just takes a while.

This will grow if I just stick to this stick to what I'm doing. Everything will grow and 350,000 in a month plays for the sleep deeply hypnosis for sleeping deeply. I think it's quite good.

I mean, by the end of what by the end of the year, so is it now May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, seven months. So I reckon by seven in seven months time, I should be doing half a million a month probably on that on that podcast. So I think it'll be all right.

I reckon about half a million. And yeah, probably in seven months, just taking this amount of time. It hasn't taken long, in fact, to get from where are we October.

So I started off in October on this podcast, 240,000. And then, you know, went down a bit. And then it's gradually grown.

So last month 189 this month 349. So far. So I reckon Yeah, 500,000 by the end of the month at end of the year.

For the other one, I don't know. It's hard to really figure that one out because that's the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast. And it's, it's a difficult one to predict.

I hear someone screaming out there what's going on? You know what, though? I know that I've been some would say taken for a fool multiple times over a long period of time, and I've allowed it to happen. But there's something nice about helping people. And that's why I do this.

I mean, I know I'm not giving. I'm not giving people money and online and I'm, but I'm giving time and I'm all that stuff. But it's something I don't know.

What do I want to be remembered for? I want to be remembered, like in real life for being nice, a nice person, a generous person kind, you know, from people that know me, you know, that have met me. I think I'd rather be remembered like that than some tough guy or good with money. There's nothing wrong with being good with money.

I wish I was I'm just haven't been up to now. I'd like to be a bit better, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit better, better with money. No one's gonna remember me as being the tall guy, because I'm not.

But I don't really want to be remembered as a fat guy either. Which I am. I was just like, yeah.

Decent. Fairly decent. Kind of okay.

Tolerable. What's going on there? Then he started barking. So I went to see what was going on.

Now. Now going on. We could hear was a grow the grasshoppers.

You can hear the birds. Don't hear many grasshoppers around. I'm sure there must be grasshoppers.

Yeah, a lot of birds though. I do like the sounds of birds. Don't know what it is.

I was gonna say I've always liked birds, but I can't be truthfully honest and say that's true. Because how would I know? I don't remember what I liked when I was a month old. Did I love birds when I was three months old? Six months old? Did I love birds when I was two years old? I don't know.

Always. Well, every single second of the day you've loved birds, have you? Like, I don't know if I've always anything. I've always breathed.

That's the one thing I can guarantee so far. Always breathed. What else? Yeah.

I'd like to think I've always thunk or thought of stuff. Always had brain activity, hopefully. So far.

What else? I've always eaten, but I was a fussy eater. Baked beans. Beans and sausages was about the only thing that I would eat out of a tin.

Had to be out of a tin. I didn't eat it out of the tin, but it had to be out of the tin. Beans with sausages, like real sausages, that wasn't the same as beans with sausages.

And they had to be Heinz. It's just, you know, I was a fussy eater. Eventually I was kind of coaxed into eating.

I'll tell you what it is. If you, because I was in a kind of, well, as I'm sure you can imagine, I was in a place full of kids when I was for a few years and we, the cooking was done on a quite a large scale. And I guess it's a kind of similar thing to school dinners.

And I don't remember ever really, I didn't have school dinners very often. I'd pack lunches. There was too many of us, too many kids to be paying for school dinners.

I went through a period when I used to buy my own school dinner. It was like a pound a day or something. Although I went through this stage, I used to get chips or something.

It wasn't like I wouldn't get anything profoundly nutritious. But I would, I went through this little period when I used to get the brownie, chocolate brownie. No, are they chocolate brownies? They were huge things.

What are they called? They're quite chocolate brownies, but they were huge, big, chunky, big, and they're doing this big massive pans and then break it up, like slice it up. And it was crunchy. And it was gorgeous.

It was like, even now, I would, you know, I'd love to go back and just have some like, what was it called? Was it crunchy? Maybe it was, maybe it was chocolate brownie. Maybe that's what it was. I just think it had a different name.

I can't remember. I mean, some people used to have it with custard, but I don't like custard. So I didn't.

Plus, I didn't want it to get soggy. I like the fact that it chipped my teeth. It was just, it was good.

I'd have it. I'd eat part of it. And then, especially in the winter when it's dark, I knew I had it as a self-defense weapon.

So I knew if I hit anyone with it, I'd knock them out. Because it was literally like a brick. I was, oh, I loved it.

It had sugar on it. It was crunchy. It tasted amazing.

Isn't it weird now that I've stopped eating chocolate? I started thinking about chocolate. It's probably not that weird. But I go into the kitchen and look in the fridge where the chocolate used to be.

I look in the cupboard where the biscuits used to be and the cakes used to be. I mean, I haven't really had much in the way of cakes for a while, but occasionally there's stuff in there. And, but there's a part of the fridge at the top in the door that is where the chocolates would be.

And now, I stopped eating chocolate regularly because of my teeth. Because I had a tooth out and I thought, I don't want to lose any more teeth. And then I gradually got back into it again.

But, but, but, but, but, but sugar, my blood sugar levels, that's a whole new ballgame. So I'm not going to be eating chocolate. I need to, I do, I have these things.

I don't even know where they are. Oh, there they are. I bought these the other day in the garage.

I think I bought these on two nights ago or three, not three days ago. Nut and fruit mix. Okay.

Tasty. And it's basically, well, it is just fruit and nuts instead of chocolate, fruit and nuts. And I haven't even put it within eyesight.

I put it behind me, tucked into, onto a shelf on the bookcase behind me. So I can't see it because it's, at no part of the day have I thought to myself, you know, I could really do with some nuts and some bits of fruit. That's what I really could really enjoy eating right now.

It just hasn't come up. At no point have I been like, just looking everywhere and, and you know, someone's not, someone's not come to my door and like, are you okay? I said, I heard a commotion. I said, that's fine.

I just can't find my packet of fruit and nuts. Hasn't happened. So we'll see.

It's just an adjustment. That's all it is, isn't it? Just an adjustment. So I need to get my eyes done as well.

I need to get my eyes tested. So it's really weird. I was in the bathroom yesterday.

Vinnie was not far from the door in the living room. It's not a big space. And I couldn't even see his face without my glasses on.

I could see his face was there. I knew he had a face, but I couldn't, I had to put my glasses on to see him clearly. And it's just like, that's just ridiculous.

It really is ridiculous. I mean, there's writing on the, on the, this, on the TV, it's a big TV. And it's writing on there that anybody should be able to see without glasses.

It's just big writing. And take my glasses off. It's blurry.

I know what it says at the top one, it says Johnny Vaughn. But so I can see that, but I know it's what it says. And I can kind of make out what it says, because it's really big writing.

But the rest of it underneath, I could probably make out what it is. So it says, Sam Sones, Sideshow on Glass, something like that, eases you into the evening with a reloading, relaxing soundtrack of all time French, French, Frenchies, and curry favourites and contemporary class classics, classics. Yeah.

So it's weird. What? Why? I won't have eye surgery, though. I won't have lasers.

I just won't. Sorry, I can't. I just can't.

And I would if it was corrective in a sense of if I needed to have an operation to save my sight or something, which I guess that's what that is, maybe, but maybe but not. If I can wear glasses, I'll wear glasses. And I won't wear contact lenses.

I just don't they're not. They're just I think I've got to the point in my life where I probably look better with glasses. So it covers up and covers up part of my face, which is good.

Any part of my face can get covered up is a good thing because I have a beard and. Yeah, there's very little of my face actually showing just the cheeks and my forehead, although I'm hoping to grow my eyebrows really bushy, so it covers up part of my forehead as well. Just so when I when I actually when I'm surprised, it'll look like I don't even have a forehead.

That's what I'm hoping. I gotta have goals in life. That's that's what I say.

So. It's probably time for me to say bye bye. And tomorrow's a new day.

It's a new day. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's been raining a lot today, which is it's all right.

I don't mind it actually. It's quieter when it's raining, it's quieter. You know, I want everyone to have fun and be happy and that, but.

It's just easier to make a recording when I've got someone screaming and showering in the garden. So it's just a little bit easier, that's all. So I'm going to go and I'm going to have my evening.

What's a wrap that I bought yesterday? It's half of a I got these do the wraps that they do in the petrol station. And I have half yesterday and half today. And I'll do me and then I'll have like my total medication have that.

I've still got half a bag crisps. What's it's I'll have as well. And hopefully they're sealed enough so they're not all soggy.

And then for my dessert, I'll have I think I still got a banana in there. So I've got two, I've got a black one. I've got I think one is still yellow.

So hopefully I can have that. And then what's the time it's 833 933. And then I will.

I might have to take him for a quick quick one first and then have my dinner. And then I will head to bed about 10 o'clock. I do believe 10 or 1030 depends on what I watch on telly.

So that's it. Thank you very much, everybody for listening. Tomorrow, I might try and do an extra recording again.

But something different. It will be either a be down to kind of how I'm feeling. But I'm thinking maybe possibly maybe Jason's bedtime story time, or maybe sleepy boring objects.

I don't know something like that. Or maybe relax and sleep hypnosis daily. Or possibly even I don't know, maybe something different, something else.

Maybe, maybe, maybe let me bore your pain away. You know, it could be so many different types, so many different things I could do. So yeah, we'll see.

So thank you for listening. And you know, if I can, if I can like do another recording during the day, maybe early afternoon, and set up like that pattern of doing that. I'd be quite cool.

Actually, it just gives more choice. I like the idea of choice. Because not everything suits everyone.

And yes, it's nice. It's just nice to have a choice. That's all.

That's why I do the different length recordings. Because some people like the 10 hour ones. Some people like the ones just with music.

Some people like ones without music. Some people like the five hour ones. And whenever I've changed it up and sort of got rid of some of them, I always get contacted or can you put the five hour ones back on? Or can you put the ones with music, just with music back on.

So that's why I do all four versions. Because I've been asked to do that. I wasn't asked to do it to start with.

But when I went to stop doing that, I was like, no, no, no, no. We say different people like different things. So that's why I do that.

I never used to there's a time and all I did was just one recording. And that was it. That was it.

And no music, no nothing. And it lasted as long as it lasted. But once I started doing the longer ones, more people were listening.

So you know, I try and I try and cater for as many people as possible. Try. I really try man.

So I'm going to go. Thank you for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself because you do deserve to be happy.

And remember, be gentle with yourself. Lots of love. Bye.

Bye, bye, bye.
