Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Is Jason Newland. Vinnie is at my feet.

Looking at the ground for some reason. Yawning. And me, I'm yawning.

He made me yawn. And now my tummy is making weird noises. My tummy.

My 53 year old man using the word tummy. Wow. Who'd have thought that would ever happen.

So hey. Welcome. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.

And. Here's a question for you. Do I actually need a website? It doesn't seem like I took it off and I put it back on and I take it off and hardly anyone visits.

It's like, is there any point having a website? And I've literally had the jasonnewland.com. Website since. Blind, it's got me 20 years, probably. And it's gone through lots of different transformations over the years.

But. I mean, there was a time I could, there was a time where people, the only way people could get to listen to my recordings was by visiting the website. Or perhaps going to the.

Like the, if they find the podcast, the free podcast hosts.com, or whatever it was called years and years ago, or going to my space. And that was long before. Apple podcasts, iTunes, Spotify, and all these places were available.

So now. I'm guessing. That most people listen to my podcast episodes.

Via the different apps, you know, or go directly to. SoundCloud, I forgot the name of it, SoundCloud, where I've got my main podcasts. There's only two podcasts, well, it's three, but one.

One just doesn't get any traction at all now because. Apple podcasts is not connected properly, and I don't know how to do that. Which is a bit annoying.

Actually, I do know, perhaps I should delete it and then redo it. Maybe that's what I need to do. Ah, didn't think about that.

So. I've got the Spreaker podcasts as well. So all of my record, all my podcasts without music on Spreaker, different podcasts.

I get very few downloads on there as well. I shouldn't be so honest, really, should I? But hey, Spreaker, let me tell you, let me show you, let me tell you. Spreaker, it's, it's kind of ridiculous, really, considering how well things were going and how on Spreaker that is and how they're going now.

So yesterday, hundreds, I can't even say it without laughing, 121 rather, 121 total plays or downloads on Spreaker yesterday. Wow, last 30 days, six and a half thousand. It's just, it's just wow.

But. I was looking at it yesterday or the day before showing a friend and the total downloads I've got on Spreaker since 2018 is 14,957,862 with 42 live plays. So things were going quite well.

And then, you know, the last, it was until halfway through October. Like, I had a quiet month in April last year, 63,899. I'm not sure why that is.

But then May, 277,000, 279,000 in June, July, 265,000, August, 303,000, September, 238,000. And in October, halfway through, and they pretty much deleted a lot of my stuff. 81,844, either they deleted or I deleted.

And I, they told me I had to delete all the recordings of music, but I also ended up deleting a couple of my podcasts. November, 529 plays. Last year, December, 6,094, January, 5,675.

February, 16,886. So it's a little bit of a rise. March, 7,500 and just under 5,000 this month, or 4,791.

Bit of a difference, isn't it? Even the best month, 16,711 compared to 277,000. Slight difference. So that's, yeah.

I feel a little bit sad about that, all the work that I put in. And I know I've not lost everything, not everything's just gone. So I'm not, can't really complain in that way.

But yeah, I can't completely complain. So let the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast. Let's have a look.

What was that before? Yeah, that's an interesting one. Really? Okay, cool. So let's have a look.

The Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast statistics last 12 months. Okay, so it got deleted. So I had to redo it, reupload it.

So February, 209 this year, March 619, 422. So that's, that's, yeah, that's just not really good. However, in October, I started the new Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast, but on Spreaker.

In October, I got 261,570. Admittedly, that was because I'd uploaded everything. So there was a lot more than I would normally get.

But the next month, 60,530. December 27 and a half, 20, nearly 25,000. In January this year, February, oh, that's weird.

February 50,447. March this year, 71,185. And so far this, this month, April, 49,500.

So yeah, I thought it'd be better this month because I've done a few different recordings. But oh, well, it doesn't matter. So that was April so far.

So there's still a few days left. How many days is in April? Is it 28? 25, 26, it's the 25th of April today. So I'm probably looking at maybe 60,000, 65,000 or something this month for this podcast.

So I don't remember what I was getting before. That's the problem. So I might have, it might actually be more than what I was getting before on the, on this specific podcast.

I'm not sure. And with the podcast I've got, which is called, what's it, Hypnosis for Sleeping Deeply. That's, that's where all of my stuff is.

There is, I say all of my stuff, but it's not really, because I've only got 1989 tracks. So there's a lot of stuff missing. But it's where I also put all of my new stuff.

And today, blimey, just under 6,000 plays. Yesterday, five and a half thousand. So the last 12 months, again, bearing in mind I was getting, what was it, about 300,000 just under a month with all of my podcasts.

When I swapped over and with this one, because I had more than, more than this at the time, but I kind of got it down to just a few. 240,000 in October last year. November, 253.

Oh, excuse me. And I did upload all of my stuff. So, well, all of it, obviously, not all of it, because there isn't all of it on there.

Blimey, I wonder why it's not on, I don't know. Anyway, December last year, 111,000. 98,000 in January.

This year, 66 and a half thousand. Then March, 85,000. And April so far, 153 and a half thousand.

So technically, it's still a lot less, still a lot less than what I was getting before. So I've pretty much lost a lot of, a lot of listeners, really, I guess. Maybe it's growing in some ways.

The Let Me Boyd Asleep has grown. Or maybe people are starting to find out where I am. I'm not sure.

But yeah, it's probably less than 200,000 a month now, plays, when before I was getting roughly 300, I've had 900,000 in a month, but that was during lockdown. So I was getting a lot more during that period. Sort of 700, 800,000, 9, just under a million, blimey, in one month.

I actually started to believe, wrongly, I started to believe, firstly, that maybe I was becoming popular. And secondly, that perhaps there could be something in this thing, you know, that I'm doing. Maybe there's a, I don't want to use the word career, but some kind of opportunity to have a good life.

But things went, well, things didn't go back to normal, because basically, what, 2000, in 2023, my podcast went weird. And they sort of made me get rid of stuff. So hey, I got the first half of the year, I suppose, or the first nine months.

But things did slow down. Things definitely slowed down in that period afterwards, because the stats here only go back two years, I think. Customize.

So if I go back, how far back can I go? Okay, only lets me go back to the 1st of April 2023. So it lets me go back one year, which is a bit, there's not much use in that really. So that 1.8 million plays on Spreaker, and that was in April, May, June, July, August, September, and a bit of October, and then the few little bits I've had since then.

So, man, anyway, it's annoying me now, I've got to move away from that. Damn you. Damn you.

I work so hard. So yeah, I don't know if I should get rid of the, get rid of the website. Is it really? Is it? Is it? Is it though? I don't know.

I don't know. So yeah, I, oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, dear.

I've just asked. Oh, I've just asked. Basically, every day, every time I open the iPad, it asks me, do you want to install the new updates? And I say no, I always press later and I have to put my code in.

I accidentally press yes now. So it's updating it, which means depending on how long it takes, I'm not even going to be able to do any editing for a little while. Damn.

But that's weird. Oh, it's alright, it's updating. It doesn't normally take a huge amount of time, but it does take some time.

So the, the V man down there has been a good boy. He's been nice and chilled out. Had a couple of early nights in a row.

I didn't, I didn't, I wasn't feeling it yesterday, to be honest. I haven't felt, I haven't felt wonderful the last few days. Just, you know, I don't know, a mixture of different things.

I just didn't really, I mean, considering it's Thursday, it's Saturday, it's Saturday, I haven't made a recording since Friday. So it's Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, where it's five days without making a recording. And there's no real reason for it.

I'll tell you part of the reason is I leave it too late sometimes. Because once it gets to about five, six o'clock, I'm too tired because I've been up since early hours of the morning. And I'm ready, I'm kind of winding down at that point.

And I'm usually in bed by nine. Yeah, I know. I know it's ridiculous.

But hey, I'm not a late nighter anymore. I used to be up all night and be asleep all day. Now I'm, I'm awake during the day and asleep at night.

Oh, right. I edited it out, but I just did the biggest burp on the planet. Even Vinnie's impressed.

You know, it's weird when we're on a set together. Whenever I fart, he jumps off. And if he can, he runs out of the room.

It's weird, really weird. So what have I been doing this week? Let me give you a rundown of what I've been doing. Uh, I want to say a big hi to Holly, Holly, Molly, rather.

Sorry. Hi, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly, Molly. And thank you to Joanne for your PayPal gift.

Thank you all. And we've lost a person from the, uh, the Jason Newlands boring group. Someone is left.

It went down to, cause I've got 160. Well, I did have 160, um, members, private members. It's a private members club.

And the, then it went down to 159, then went up to 160 again, then it went down to 159 again today. So I don't know if that's someone just leaving their, their Facebook page and then redoing it again. I don't know.

I've done that a few times myself. So, um, I don't know. But anyway.

Oh yeah. Another thing tomorrow, Friday, I'm doing my Q&A Friday. So if you've got any questions, please post them on my Facebook group, Jason Newlands, boring group.

And if you don't remember, just join and you will be accepted. And I did invite a couple of hundred people. I think it was a few weeks back.

And I think when you invite people, they have access to, to view everything, but they, but they don't need to join. So I'm going to just remove the invite to people just so then if they want to join, they can, but there's no, you know, I want to know who's it is. There's no point.

I'm a private group. If the public, uh, if, if non-members are viewing it, that makes sense. It makes sense to me.

So only, only people are members. I think it's only fair if people in the group can see who else is viewing the group. Not that there's anything, nothing personal in the group, really.

It's just, it's an opportunity for other GCJJ fans to get together and just talk about how wonderful I am. Yeah. So what I've been doing Saturday, oh, I did the Q&A Friday last Friday and I went on for about two hours and it was, it was quite, not a chore, but it was quite a big thing.

Like two hours of talking without, you know, any kind of a break or anything like that. Although maybe I might've had a break. I might've had a break actually in between and then come back to it.

I can't remember. So I did that. And Saturday, I, yeah, I went to bed early on Friday night.

I got up quite early Saturday morning to watch the boxing. So that was on about, if I'm correct, it was on about two o'clock in the morning. So I watched that.

And then Saturday during the day, didn't do an awful lot, to be honest, but I did, the boxing was on Sunday morning and it was a big, big, big event. It was Haney against Garcia, so Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia. So, and it's one of those fights that it wasn't so much, it was important.

It was just huge buildup, huge rubbish stuff being said about each other. And I don't know, it was, it was definitely sold. They sold the fight and it was a good one.

It really was. So, yeah, so I watched that. What else? During the day, Saturday, I can't remember what I did.

What did I do? What did I do? Did I tell you that I saw my dad the week before? Yeah, I saw him. He, he's all right. Well, you know, kind of, I think.

If he isn't, he doesn't tell me. But we don't, he's one of these people that everything's okay. And I don't know if it's just me he does that with or he does it with everyone.

It's just me that he can't be honest with, I don't know. But it's very, very hard to get to know, to get to know someone or to really feel any kind of connection with someone when they're behind a facade like that. Like a screen.

It's almost like they're the other side of some glass and still care about them. But then you can't really gauge or if they're wearing a mask. So you can't see their facial expressions.

Almost can't see what the. I don't know. It's hard to explain this.

It's a weird one. Is that like everything's fine? Everything's good. Well, what planet are you on? Because I'm not saying I want to meet up with him.

I see him like twice a year. And when I see him, I don't necessarily want to have a big moan fest, you know, but just a little bit of real, a little bit of real, a little bit of, how's it really? How are you really doing? And if things are brilliant, great. But yeah, I suppose there's a degree of maybe it's because of all of the therapy I've been through and the therapy I've done with other people, training, all that stuff.

And I can see through BS, maybe if there's a, you know, I can see through fakery sometimes. And when someone says, yeah, I'm fine, everything's great. And you can see they're not.

And I've done it myself enough times and just, I don't know, maybe I'll have an actual real conversation one day. You never know, it might happen, but you can't force it. You can't force someone to open up if they're used to being closed.

So, oh, great. You see that a bleep? That was my app, my thingamajig. Why are you doing in a different language? Hello.

Hello. Hello. Yeah.

All right. Okay. I'll swipe to open.

So this is the iPad just rebooted itself. Software update complete. Continue.

Continue. Share of Apple. Don't share.

Get started. Get started. Go away.

So yeah, I don't even need that on really. So I've Sunday, this Sunday. Sunday's my lazy day.

And you might think, well, surely that's every day you lazy bum. And I feel okay. It's a good point.

But Sunday is a day I quite like to see if I've been watching boxing in the morning, early hours, because there's live boxing all the time. But, you know, every three, every few weeks, there'd be box in a big fight. Early hours of the morning in America.

So when I do that, it kind of ruins me for the whole day, to be honest, a little bit. You know, I'm pretty much tired the rest of the day. I'll go to bed after the boxing finishes.

I'll get up and I'll end up half napping most of the day. And I'm basically tuckered out, you know, like a like a toddler to get tuckered out because I force myself to stay awake. And on Sunday.

Yeah. So I kind of did that. I mean, it was quite weird because I was watching the boxing.

All the fights were good because there was the build up, you know, it was the undercard and everything. I was really struggling to keep my eyes open. Like.

Seriously thinking, I'm going to go to bed. I'm going to go to bed because I can't. I have to watch this in the morning.

Well, it was the morning, but, you know, I have to go to bed because I was so tired. Well, I managed to keep awake. And between the main fight, the last fight, you know, the second from last and the main fight, I took to Vinnie.

O.U.T. For a quick W.A.N. W.A.L.K. Probably just in the garden or somewhere, just, you know, and the cold woke me up a little bit. So it gave me a little bit. A bit of a. You know, a bit of that, because, you know, even in the summer.

Three o'clock, four o'clock in the morning, it's, you know, it's a little bit a little bit nippy out there. Not all the time, though, I mean, sometimes blindly. I've been walking around in a T-shirt in the middle of the night sometimes and it's like, wow, how can it be so mild? And then Vinnie would say, well, it's summer, isn't it? I said, yeah, I know.

But usually even even in the middle of night in summer, it's still usually a bit chilly. He said, no, it's not. I said, yes, it is.

He said, what do you know? That's what he said to me. I said, look, you've this literally this is last summer. This is your second summer on this planet.

This is my 53rd. So I probably know a little bit more than you. And he said, oh, yeah, pull that card out.

I always pulled the old card. I didn't say I was old. I said, well, you just said you're 53.

It's not young, is it? And that was when I was like, OK, that's enough. And besides, I wasn't 53, I was 52. I was 53 in August, but this is a summer.

I was 52, but it's still my 53rd year. He gets his calculator out. Let's work this one out.

Oh, yeah. Where does he even keep the calculator? He's pulling his things out and like his wallet, his calculator, lightsaber. Like, where does he? It's not a euphemism, by the way.

Where does he keep it all? I don't know. It's in my bum bag. My bum bag.

Well, no, it's just a bum. It's not actually a bag. Yeah, it's a bum.

That's grim. Stop it. So, yeah, he, we, they.

Sunday didn't do much. Monday. What did I do on Monday? I was going to make a recording on Monday.

And for some reason, unless I did do one Monday and I've just forgot to upload it, I didn't do one. No, I did do a recording. I did a recording.

Wait a minute. My last recording wasn't last Friday. No, it wasn't.

What am I talking about? I'm making this stuff up as I go along. My last recording was. One day ago.

So I'm guessing not yesterday. But it was yesterday or the day before. Join my Facebook group.

Number 1101. Yeah, so I did do a recording. Blimey, I lose track.

So I did do, did do something. Yes, I did, didn't I, Vinnie? Yes, I did. Yes.

So I haven't completely wasted the entire week. So, yeah. My memory isn't what it was.

At least, I don't think it is. It's a joke. Can't remember.

So I, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. What did I do yesterday? I took Vinnie out. I said the wrong word.

I said the word O-U-T. O-U-T. And at least twice he got to run around with dogs.

Other dogs. And he's so happy. In fact, no, three times.

He ran around with dogs. Twice with about three other dogs. Two different occasions.

Two, three other different dogs. There's three, so two occasions. He ran around with three dogs.

And then he ran around with, well, it was two dogs, but only one ran around with him. So he ran around with his friend, Archie, who's his best friend. And they love each other.

There's a real excitement when they see each other. There's, I don't know what it is. They're just best friends.

They would be happy. I'm pretty sure they'd be happy to be with each other all the time. Maybe not, I don't know.

I mean, you know, being with someone all the time. I mean, is that even, is that even legal? I don't know. I suppose, I suppose, yeah, I suppose it is.

But all the time. I mean, I'm with him all the time. And it does get a little bit, a little bit too much sometimes.

Like just, he wants to get away. I know he does. When we go out, if he gets an opportunity, he will run away.

Not, not away out of the park, but he will run to someone else. And I hear him like, please save me. Save me from the horrible man.

Save me. Which is a little bit rude. He's a strange one though.

You know, he's very devious. So we go up this pathway in the, in the field. Well, it's a park, a little park.

He takes me up this pathway because it leads to an exit, which he likes to go out of. And I turn right onto the grass and he doesn't like that. And he, he puts his feet down and tries to, he tries to stop me from moving.

And there's seven meters on the lead. So he can't, you know, it's a lot of room for him to maneuver. So I'm seven meters away from him, whatever that is in foot.

Was that 12 foot? I don't know. And he's like, nope, I want to go that way. But no, you were going this way.

I want to go that way. We're going this way though, Vin. I want to go that way.

And I don't know what, I do know why. Okay. And he does it wherever we're in the park.

He looks for an exit because there's like one, we go into the park. So that's one exit, entrance and exit. So just one, then two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.

There's ten exits or entrance to the park. And the park's in two bits. So he doesn't always try and get out of the park, but when he does, when he's in that mood, he really does pull.

And the only reason, the main reason he likes to go out of the park is because he enjoys doing a poo on people's lawns. Especially at weekends. If he can, I'm sure he's looking around.

If he can see a house where the lawn is very clear and can be seen very clearly from the front living room window and he can see people inside that window looking out. He loves to go on the grass and do a big poo there. Because I think he enjoys, I don't know if he enjoys, what he enjoys more is doing a poo in front of the people on their own lawn or watching me pick it up as I'm being watched by the owners of the house.

He seems to get a kick out of it. He finds it funny. He actually giggles sometimes.

It's like, why? So I pretty much try and make sure he's done a poo in the park first and then we can go out. Because all he'd do then is just do lots of wee-wees. Blimey.

You know he has to get his 12 hours sleep every night. Did you know that? Yeah. 12 hours at least every single night.

Doesn't get up early. He'll wake me up if he needs to go to the toilet or he wants to play or he wants to, for whatever reason, he'll wake me up and then he'll hassle me to get up sometimes. He doesn't want to go out sometimes.

He just wants me to be awake because he's awake. I get up, maybe I give him some food if he's hungry or maybe I give him a treat and I think, well, okay, I'm up now. I might as well just stay up.

So I start to, I sit down at the computer and I start having a look at stuff and I look around. He's nowhere to be seen. I go into the bedroom.

He's fast asleep. He's got what he wants and he's gone back to bed. Maybe he just wanted some peace and quiet.

He wanted the bed to himself. So annoy me, wake me up and then I'm in the living room and he can just do his own thing. I just don't get it.

I ask him, can you explain it to me, Vinnie? And he never does. He refuses. So what else have I done? The thing is, the problem with talking about what I do day to day is I do nothing.

My life is more boring than any boring podcast that I make. And I know that they're supposed to be boring and talking about. And I'll be honest with you.

I like talking about things that are interesting to me. And even though it's boring to listen to, it's not boring for me to talk about. So, you know, when I'm perhaps when I've got peps, perhaps, perhaps, for example, if I've gone somewhere or done something.

And I can talk about it, but it's not interesting to anyone else. But it's, you know, it's mildly interesting to me because at the moment I'm just doing the same thing day in, day out. And it's there's not a lot to really.

It is quite to go in depth into it would be quite difficult. I mean, I don't know. I suppose the main thing I've really been doing is I have been.

In fact, what I'll do if I move these around, I'll open up my laptop and I will show you what I want to show you, but I'll talk it through you. OK, let's have a look. All right.

The internet was going slow the other day. Really slow. Was it and it keeps cutting out.

Sometimes only for a few seconds or a few minutes, but. Excuse me. I don't understand why.

put just a reminder that tomorrow's Q&A Friday please ask any questions seen by 17 commented by one and it's from this person called Molly so Molly the boss are you still wanting to move does the grumpy guy who knew you does the grumpy guy who knew you who knew you had Andre hidden under your jacket still work at the garage Wow we're going back years Molly your memory's good that's years ago in it I'm actually friends with now he's also a boxing fan have you got tea cakes at the moment

wow I just got some food today just ordered some and it's gone delivered but I don't get a tea cake delivery service but anyway I'm answering the questions I gotta stop answering the questions do you remember when you melted a Mars bar in your eyes in your ice cream or something like that I can't quite remember yep I remember that do the birds still live around your flat or is it record is your record settings up so fancy now that we can't hear them right see I keep trying to answer

the questions well not I won't answer them I do have question I've got answers for all those questions so to all of you Ken Sky Christine Matthew and Molly I will answer your questions tomorrow why would do is one of those questions I'll give to Ken and the other one I'll give to no I can't do I don't know I'll just say it's for Ken and Matthew so it's the same question for both cool so oh yes what I was telling you earlier let me just show you what I mean

well I'll talk you through it where is it gone oh I was if I go back to the right okay if I go back to this I added some members Oh one band we've got a band person that was a not a real person that was just some scammer I'm not sure if right band and more hot Molly Bandon I've invited 267 people so what I'm gonna do is I'm going to remove invitation from all of them because there's no point it's not going to join join or don't you know

I mean that's kind of remove invitation because there's no yeah there's not really much point in just I thought it be good I thought you know I've got a hundred and I think at the time I had 157 and I thought I don't know you know you know when people start a new group usually they'll just invite everyone everyone in the whole wide world in order to make it look like it's popular you know to get but then you know if I'd have had a thousand people join I probably still

have the same amount of people interact with me as they do now and those that don't interact or don't use a group there's no reason there's no point to be in the group if you're not if it's not of use to you I mean if it's not if you're not using it for anything I don't know if so if you join just because she was invited and you don't ever come on here anything but then you're not going to hear this recording because it's the only people who wouldn't want to

be a part of the group of people that don't listen to my stuff and all listens to my stuff is going to be more excited maybe not let me tell you about my Instagram come on right here we go here's my Instagram this is I get occasional messages not many but this this person sent a comment to me and I'm just going to read I'm going to read out the whole thing first sent a message hi and I thought okay this is on the 14th for the 2nd 2021 Wow and

then 22nd of January this year three years later hello how are you and then 20 29th of January how are you 26 of January 2024 how can the 29th of January before 26 that's a bit weird no no 26 of March sorry hello dear how are you so I know I did say hi to the one in January said hi now I don't know who this person is and I can't even see them because their profiles private so I think I added them because I want to see who I'm dealing

with and they didn't have me add me to their thing how are you where are you from asks this person and this is on the 7th of April when I was put UK so 27th March then 7th of April 8th of April okay nice how's your day I'm in Atlanta have you been taught he states before so okay that's to the States see if this this might be someone that I thought it could be someone that listens to my podcast so I'm not gonna make any presumptions whenever I put never

had or never been hmm I seen I seen never been to the UK before but that's where my lawyer is from cool it's a 9th of April 9th of April going yeah what do you do nice meeting you so I post my website so she can look at my website and see what I do and then she replied that's when I start thinking is this is a real person or is this some kind of bot is this a question was a musician and it's you can see it says hypnosis mp3s

and videos since 2006 thousands not thousand 2006 but 200 no two thousand yeah 2006 a musician so she's a musician that's a ninth and that was a 1019 1101 are you there okay should I do a voice 15th of April 4 minutes to 11 p.m. hello Jason 17th of April 2024 106 p.m. are you there why don't you want to talk to me anymore and you started an audio call and the audio call ended so I did have a missed call from this person and I don't know who it was I don't know what if but yeah it's just like miss call on Instagram so then is hello Saturday 5 just done before 6 a.m.

I've seen you don't want to talk to me anymore it's fine this is the Saturday's gone and I said we've never spoken so I replied to that at 653 so just before 7 and in Sunday 228 so you don't want us to talk but you don't answer my calls I see you want us to talk but you don't answer my calls and then I replied about an hour later how do you know me how do you know me I just want to make sure I'm not being scammed some random per

you know it's like random persons contacted me I don't generally talk to them and she's and this person could be a man could be a woman could be a AI I don't know could be a bot replied okay this is what I posted on Sunday Tuesday she replies no you're not I don't know you're not I don't know you personally but we communicated recently you said you're from the UK and that's because she asked where I was from so recently so when was that that was 7th of April so it

was fairly recent and I put I only normally get messages from my fans now that's what I wrote I don't normally use word fans okay I don't but in this instance it seemed correct because I don't they know she was like if you don't know what I do okay let's put it this way no one's gonna see me see a picture of me or see a video of me and think oh I've got to get to know him no one it's not just not gonna happen so you know it's probably

I'm not gonna get mistaken for a musician either so no I'm just gonna like oh I want him in my life no it's not gonna happen it's just like just from randomly I've always liked the word it was like like the name Jason and so that's just doesn't make any sense at all anyway and that was on Tuesday it's now Thursday and there's been no response so yeah but I got a nice message I just came across your comments I decided to add you on here just wanted to use this

opportunity of mine to say thank you for your comment love you have to show me oh no idea who that's from literally don't know we've got another question on Facebook no question on Facebook here we go here we go here we go from Kate have you ever collected anything for a comic books stamps coins etc what's an etc I've never collected an etc that's a heart machine in it I'm not sure if you've talked about this before and I can't remember or I've fallen asleep yeah I'm not sure if I

have have you tried what have you tried pickleball okay it says here if I were if I were ever to come to England that is the one thing I must do or see in your opinion of course I've never heard of pickleball genuinely it's the first time I've heard those two words put together ball and pickle I know what pickle is I know what ball is pickleball I don't know I have to look that up have you ever grown your own vegetable garden and if so what did you try growing

Wow that is it you know what that's a I like that question see some of the questions that you're asking me like you know on the in his good it's not a case of okay I mean it gives you an opportunity to find out a little bit about me and stuff if you want I mean I might lie anyway so don't don't take it all as truth but I it's just some of the questions are reminding me of stuff in the past I'd forgotten about or just hadn't had any reason

to think about it and the vegetables that's just stimulated our memory Wow I quite like this this is quite a good game blimey okay cool well I'll answer those questions tomorrow so thank you again Ken Molly Kate's guy Matthew just trying to remember who else this stuff Christine yeah so thank you all of you for your for your questions and and I will answer them as best as I can tomorrow but anyone got any other questions that's really that's some of these questions it's like wow I even if I have

talked about something before I'm happy to like tell you about it again ask your question about it because you know I've done a hundred one thousand over one thousand one hundred of these recordings now for Let Me Bore You To Sleep I've covered stuff that I'm never gonna remember again I don't remember what I've talked about genuinely there's too many there's too many recordings to remember and so and it's weird weird that Molly mentioned stuff that I've not thought about in years and so did Kate just then about the growing

of vegetables and stuff but the see I just assume okay I assume this and by the way if anyone thinks it wasn't being rude to Ken about do your own questions I'm a big fan of Ken and Ken's been a big supporter of mine so I love Ken just let you know that in case you thought I was being rude to like do you think your own question if it came across as rude I didn't mean it that way and Ken knows I love him so that's cool some of these

questions though it's I just didn't expect it like it just proves that I always thought people were asleep they just fell asleep they weren't actually listening and if I thought that people were actually listening to I was talking about I might have been a little I might have talked about some different things maybe I don't know I might not have been so honest I'm never gonna admit which is the honest bits of which of the lies which the made-up bits oh no blimey so I've got see it's really I tell

you what's really hard though it's when I read out the questions as you might notice it's hard for me not to answer the question there and then that's why I could never be a criminal I just answer every question yeah you have the police knocked on my door come in come in here's my passport is all my information there you go what you wanna know it's like that's why I could never never live a life of crime it wouldn't suit me I can't bother to lie if I lie you know

I'm lying because I'm making it up and it goes silly it's like what's the point it's like I know people I literally know people in real life that just can't stop lying it's like they lie just naturally their natural response to something is to lie and they're not even any good at covering up the lies I don't even attempt to cover up the lies so they say one thing and then you see them next time they'll say something different and you'll end up getting five different versions of the same five

different answers to the same question and they don't remember you are even asking them the question five times hmm or four times previous to the fifth time and I think the good thing once you know someone's a liar it kind of doesn't matter so much as long as they're not important in your life and they're not relevant to anything it doesn't matter if they're liars now if they're in your life and they're an important part of your life then yeah you need to wave bye-bye to them because can't be around

liars you know in life it's just no point but if they're not important they're just someone you chat to and you know it doesn't matter let them lie sometimes it's funny to listen to it you know this bloke talking about how he yeah he did he had this fight with four people and he did one he like was doing this to one of the blokes he knocked him went flying and did a karate kick or whatever like okay what about the other three people you know if you're with your friends

adults you don't just stand there not doing it you know you did help your friend out you wouldn't you wouldn't just let it happen it's just ridiculous I used to I had a friend he used to come back he came back from the park once and I don't know what happened because I only got his side of the story but I think he was a little bit drunk and he was he didn't mean any harm but he was talking to perhaps he was talking to someone and someone took offense of

what he said and a group of young people and they ended up getting into a bit of a rumble police came along and stopped it and brought my friend home it's a little bit worse it was more than worse for the wearer he was very very intoxicated which is weird because up to that point I don't ever see him drunk like twice well it went from there was three lads three you know young lads in their 20s or whatever started on him and then after about an hour it turned into

about 300 lads and there was an army of them like you know 30 of them like there was three a minute ago which is it and and they started sending helicopters and like what and then you pick him up saying we said it was it's now 30 we said it was like three earlier okay I'm lying then yeah I'm lying all right then I'm lying well yeah you kind of are you kind of are I remember once one of my friends I caught him out and it wasn't an important lie

it was irrelevant there was no point even lying it was one of those like for the sake of it like why bother and I pulled him up on it and he couldn't stop laughing I said I was got a call BS on this one mate I know because I knew exactly what happened and he was and he was making out something else happened so I don't know what it was but it was irrelevant it wasn't important but he couldn't stop laughing because I caught him out and it was just so

funny I can still remember him in that chair over there the black chair laughing his head off because it was it was very funny it was but when I said it wasn't important it wasn't it wasn't he wasn't trying to get one over on me he was just trying to make himself look a bit better than he had if you know I mean perhaps and you know he wasn't trying to make wasn't I don't know how to work it had a word he wasn't being horrible that was my friend yeah

but he it's funny I find it funny I miss him it's weird you know it's strange as some people would just you can get people at tell porkies at all I don't know untruths but it's kind of funny and other people that do it and it's not so funny it's weird and that seems to really be for me that seems to be a case of so I've got the same our people that are still around this figure two different people one that lies all the time no a person that is

flexible with the truth but one is funny one is like it doesn't bother me and the other one does a little bit and I think it's a case of I like one I'm not that keen on the other so maybe that's what it is I just like I like one of them and if he exaggerates he exaggerates it doesn't matter to me because he's not after anything he's not trying to you know I mean I've met people that they've had the same family drama multiple times and asked to borrow money

multiple times for the same thing and they've forgotten at all that said it to me before now what they want the money for is something completely different and this is in the past this is like a few years back by the way it's not not anyone that's around now but and it's like what what you don't like how can I mean I know I know cats have nine lives in that but blimey your uncle it's like how many times it's like I can't go into it but anyway I'm being very

vague purposefully vague I'm thinking I might need to do a new banner for the Jason's boring group it would be nice to have a thousand members I mean I've been doing this forever and you know who knows how long I can do it for so it'd be nice to get a little bit of an audience and I mean I'd say out of 159 people there's probably only about I'll be surprised if in none of the posts that I post okay 74 people saw that post 74 people 98 people saw that

post okay so maybe a hundred maybe all 159 do visit the page so 98 saw that post 23 saw that post 74 57 38 33 so yeah okay fair enough so maybe maybe who knows maybe or I'm thinking maybe a hundred or less actually visit the page regularly but maybe I'm wrong maybe I'm wrong I don't know why I'm focusing on the page today for some reason Jason Newland's boring group hmm that sounds boring it does it's not really it's not very exciting is it like why don't you join my

boring group why would I want to join a boring group it sounds boring there is why would anyone want to join a group that was boring I'm struggling to answer that if I'm honest yeah exactly well how can you how can you sell the idea of something that's you might as well call it the pointless group is the same thing why don't you join my pointless Facebook group no it's pointless you know why don't you you might just name it no humans please no the non-human Facebook group might you probably

get more people join it's weird so put it was like if it was a flat earthers group I get a lot more people joining or some kind of conspiracy theorist thing put it thousands I could just I might do that you know I might do a conspiracy group and just mock them just post stuff on there and just just you know laugh at them but maybe not I was watching there's a new thing called transformations the movie and it's Paul McKenna and Richard Bandler on YouTube and I don't know what

it is Richard Brand Richard Bandler is is this he's kind of the same same character he's always been since I've sort of been following him for 25 years or whatever I don't know can't quite make up can't make out Paul McKenna he is by far the most famous hypnotist in this country it's I don't know you can't quite work him out I'm watching him I'm thinking hmm I know is this I shouldn't say I shouldn't say it anyway he's you know I just can't quite figure him out that's all not

in a bad way or a good way just I mean he's he doesn't need me to figure him out because he's a very rich and famous man but very successful I just I see quite a few YouTube this is separate from Paul McKenna I see I've seen quite a few YouTube hypnotists trainers very quite harsh towards other hypnotherapists or trainers very harsh towards people that perhaps aren't earning money or aren't trying to earn money from it and I mean over the years I'm going back 20 years well 18 years let's

say is 18 years off I lose track yeah 18 years the amount of negativity I've had towards me for offering a free service and I've seen people going to rants about pretty much people like me offering stuff for free devalues it if it's for if it's free nobody values what they get and if it's for free and I even had a Buddhist friend say that to me once he's swear swear down no one says no one ever said swear down and people try to say it try to get it made

it make it popular but it's not swear down is just silly even street people don't say that I want to say street people don't mean homeless I mean like on the streets kind of gangster kind of thing swear down it's such a silly phrase it's like my bad still you need to watch a movie in the last 10 years maybe longer there'll be the term my bad once in a movie now any phrase like that anyone who uses the phrase my bad I'm probably gonna be saying it quite a lot

they don't just say it once it's like people say you know I mean you know I mean in it in it yeah in it yeah you know you know and that is it's a it's almost kind of like a gap little a gap filler for people's languages and they'll use that same phrase over and over again it won't just be a one-off my bad it's something they'll be saying quite a fair bit I swear downs another one of those you get me that's another one yeah bless I'm blessed you see

that a lot as well how you doing I'm blessed by who is something I never said I never asked who's blessing you what's so special about you that you're blessed I'm blessed I never really understood what it meant it sounded like someone's blessed me but it's just another word of saying I'm feeling grateful I think it's another way someone feeling grateful for what I've got I'm blessed and from that perspective yeah that is that's quite a nice thing to say isn't it don't need people like me being negative towards it

that's why I don't that's why I'm positive about everything always at all times so there was a point to why how I got here and I don't know you don't know still that lies I was talking about something that I remembered I was gonna tell you something but I forget what it was something interesting but I told you before but it's a long time ago oh yeah the Buddhist this Buddhist I was having lunch with him I was just yeah it's 2006 and I just started the pain relief the free

pain relief service in in my local town and I went to my friend's wedding I didn't and she was someone I went to college with when I did the the massage course so I knew her from that she invited me to her wedding to her boyfriend's with her to be husband I'd not met him before so I went to the wedding and instead of buying anything because I was a tight ass I basically gave them some free hypnosis sessions like a little booklet of six free hypnosis sessions knowing well feeling

that I knew hundred percent that they wouldn't use them so it saved me money it's just because it was a last-minute thing I hadn't got any present and I didn't know what I was gonna get and maybe I didn't have any money I can't remember or maybe I was just being really tight that's possible anyway so I go along to the wedding and I hadn't really taken much notice of the situation but the reason knowing I did go to the hen night so yeah I did know the situation so I've

been to the here's a thing I went to the hen night all it was is the hen night was being held at another of our friends house she was someone else that was on the course on the massage course and she she asked me the person owned that house would I come and stand there my suit on and be security and stop her from coming in like just as a light joke really even though she knew me I said yeah all right then and she said I'll give you you can

have a drink before you leave I said cool it's a hen night not so I'm not supposed to be there so I thought okay I'll just stay in and not then I'll go out and go to the pub or whatever I don't know Saturday night well they enjoyed they invited me in and I was at this hen night of all these females so there was I knew I knew 80% of who was there there's a few women I didn't know but 80% I knew and it wasn't the standard wedding in

a sense of it was pushed ahead because unfortunately her husband was very very ill very very ill and so they got married it's not the reason it's not the reason they got married which I think the reason they got married so so quickly rather than having a big a big thing they I didn't go to the actual wedding so they might have had a big thing I don't know but I went to the the evening bit anyway so I gave them tickets as a thing as a as my wedding gift

went there with another friend and it was you know it was nice had a few drinks and everything and there was a buffet and I'd never met him before so it's the first time and hello how you doing right didn't know didn't mean no even after I left I didn't know him so what surprised me next really surprised me is I got a phone call from my friend telling me that I don't know if it was either my friend or my other friend who's married to her to this this man

she said he needs you to come to hospital I said what said he's he's has to have a procedure I'm not going to go into details because as we know these recordings are not about that this if he had to have an invasive procedure so and he'd had it before and it didn't go well so he he was he wanted me he asked for me to go and help him to relieve to relax him and to prepare him for you know the procedure mentally emotionally I didn't know the plot didn't

think he was gonna ask me to do anything I didn't really think that you know so it was one of the most rewarding things I ever did in my life as far as the environment I was in being able to help someone seeing that I was helping them and finding out afterwards that what I did was useful because it was kind of instant feedback in a way not instant as in instant as far as his response to me before having the procedure and then I spoke to him after procedure and

he spoke to me and talked to me and I did visit him one more time in his home and we did some relaxation hypnosis and some pain reduction and stuff like that so that night that that afternoon because I was working part-time at that time so I was working from my being eight until or nine to nine to two something like that so I went there in the afternoon the next day I went and visited and met up with someone probably in the afternoon and had lunch with them and they

were telling me because I you know I was doing my free pain relief stuff and I was doing stuff online I was volunteering I was doing you know it's like it was giving me a little lecture about how no one values something if it's free if you don't pay for it you don't value it people don't value it and it was it was literally the day after I sat in a hospital ward without going into details what kind of ward it was and but there are other people in this exactly

kind of the same situation as my friend's husband and I didn't get paid for that I didn't do it to get paid I didn't want to get paid it was you know money wouldn't even wouldn't no amount of money would have made me feel better than I felt having helped that might not be true that might not be true actually I suppose there's a certain amount of money but it wasn't about that and this person this person is supposed to be my friend telling me that you know we don't people

don't if you don't charge then it's it's like basically if you don't charge it's worthless what you're offering is worthless if you don't charge money for it I was like wow they don't value it unless they pay for it and that blew my mind really that not only that someone would think that but they would say it to my face knowing what I do I mean these were the early days of me doing this it's now 18 years later and I've heard that same thing multiple times multiple times and I

just it amazes me some of the things people say doesn't amaze me over the years comparisons you know comparison comparison comparison comparison comparison that doesn't sound right comparison comparing blimey Wow comparing what I do with some some other service they may use which is a completely different service and just I don't know just I've been called a snake oil salesman many times in the past not not now so much I get the occasional but I had someone there recently contact me saying I love it when you talk about your financial

problems it really relaxes me and I thought well okay I don't spend my whole time talking about financial issues I don't think but it maybe or not what I did but I don't think I spend too much time talking about money at all really but there is just like just it doesn't I don't understand I don't see the point in having a go at people really the effort but I had I tell me what I don't know if I've told you about this one this is on YouTube I had a

message a message where is it okay so this is for number 25 relaxing sleep hypnosis daily on YouTube embrace effortless slumber so this person says sorry but I felt uncomfortable listening to it so I loved that like click like dinner love heart and I replied rightly or wrongly perhaps you'd feel more comfortable if you take off your chastity belt and hiking boots now that wasn't aimed at a woman by the way I've got no idea if it's a man or woman that sent that put the message it just seemed like

a silly thing to write that's not written back not reply they've not replied I thought that I thought that was a nice opener to you know more adult dialogue so it's some of the comments I've had a lot of really nice comments and I haven't had too many like really bad ones for a long time there was times there was there was times when I just get bombarded with quite often from the same person over and over again oh look I could that you got a message from sky this is

on my Facebook Jason Newland's boy group and that was about Oh listen to talk about okay it's me talk about hurricanes okay right so you can read that and it's go to the post go to thing so that really Kate Kate have you already done that one have you okay right things just keep coming up and I'm looking and it's stuff I've already looked at so what I'm going to do now is I'm probably going to go to the toilet treat myself to a poo and then I will take the

Vini Vini OUT I'll edit this process it upload it and then yeah that's it that's it that's kind of it only takes a couple of hours to have that all completed to have it all uploaded and shared and everything so I don't know what time it is now it's probably about I think I looked it's about 1.30 or something is it 1.30 1.30 1 on us eight minutes past one and I've been talking for over an hour and a half how how I ask you I don't know I've not said

anything an hour and a half of nothing mind you I wonder how many hours wait a second let's let's me check I can find out how many hours I wonder if it lets me do on this one how many hours of Let Me Bore You To Sleep so I've done that's you know excluding excluding the oh no it's not let me know unless it does this is to look no it's not it says 1101 recordings but it's not I thought it would let me know the actual podcast statistics no no

no no it's not that's a shame not statistics but how many hours that's what I'm looking for so how many hours of recordings there is I mean I could add them up and I mean I could add it up yeah definitely but it's changes as some are longer than others like yesterday's one or the day before is one minute eight seconds one hour eight minutes 58 seconds Q&A free last Friday two hours and 20 minutes but then not sure if this recorded was 1099 what one hour two minutes and they

just variate variate they do variate my dear no music Q&A part 2 2 hours 12 minutes but then I did one let no less let me boil your pain away no music ordering Vinnie's lead one hour six minutes 1091 Amazon delivery one minute one hour 44 minutes number 1090 two hours of nothing that's two hours kind of had to be really didn't it it's 56 seconds okay I mean it all average I don't know what the average is I need to I can figure it out somehow but it would take

a while but basically every recording is generally over an hour sometimes an hour and 10 minutes there's a few just under you know like 57 minutes and stuff most longer most I'd say 99% are higher than an hour some so if there's a thousand hours 1101 hours before this one if we're looking at 1500 hours because every 10 recordings is another hour I'd say and there's a thousand so that's a hundred so maybe not maybe 1,250 hours something like that maybe I don't know still still a fair amount and I've

transcribed nearly all of them if that I think I've described I have transcribed all of them but now it's figuring it's what it's funny it's figuring a way of how can I go through them and find a way to put together a book which is what I kind of wanted to do I wanted to I wanted to sort of write my life story sound like a question don't write my life story not write my life story my life story story story I don't know just have to look wait and see

but I got a few ideas I'd also quite like to go through the recordings and make the best of so if I managed to store you know do one record in a day every day and then once a week maybe on a Sunday release the best of and but then how do I choose what's the best of because it's I don't know what's the best stuff I don't know what people are gonna enjoy listening to I mean I make it up as I go along I've got no idea how do

I find out what is the I mean I did have a message the other day and I'm not sure if I've replied yet telling me was it on Instagram no no it wasn't on Instagram it was it was on was I wasn't Instagram there was a message on wait a minute I'm just seeing if it comes up I need to reply the only problem is I get different messages from different people and what's my okay message unavailable all right so it's not that one I'll come out of there right so

Jason's if I look into there I think this might be the one nope it's still the same what the heck I'll come out of there that's weird okay right here we go this should be right right this is the one and right please say it's an it's just a fly not a bee or more importantly not a wasp so I'm just flown in I've got a message from Teresa I've been listening to your old podcast of yours from 2019 thought I woke up during one episode and I laughed through the

entire short show tonight I woke up during one episode and I laughed through without the entire show it was August the 28th 2019 episode 206 from birdwatching peach crumble to white suits Jason I've lost so hard I'm crying you're so funny even though it's 3 a.m. and I'm wide awake thank you for that and I said thank you I may take a listen myself and the hope Teresa doesn't mind me reading this out I'm not going to say her name what I just did say her name tonight Teresa but it

might be Teresa Teresa Teresa and that's not a fly that sounds like a wasp if it's a wasp I'm not I'm not scared of wasps anyway I'm not bothered but if it's a bee I have to make sure that bee gets out and I like to make sure wasps get out as well but I don't know I just make sure they get out it's a wasp you know when I said I wasn't scared no and also so just wanted to make take a minute to tell you I still rely on

you at night to talk to me to sleep okay so it's cool so there shouldn't be any commercials in the unless you're listening on YouTube they sometimes put adverts and they shouldn't right I'm surprised that thing is not oh he is he's looking up now he's noticed that so I'm gonna go but I'm gonna have to listen to that August the 28th number 206 because I don't know I mean I realize it's not really fair to ask other people to do the work for me but if there's something I've done

that you thought was mildly worth listening to again the best of for for the best of maybe you can let me know and I can re-listen to it so I'm able to edit the recordings and put them slice them all together so edit you know to make one recording for an hour that's from different podcast episodes if that makes sense anyway I'm gonna go I'm gonna have to sort out this creepy crawly fly thing that's near the curtains so thank you for listening remember to be kind to yourself remember to be gentle with yourself because you do deserve to be happy and just just take it easy you know lots of love and I will be back tomorrow for my Q&A Friday bye
