Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name is Jason Newland. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.

Just have a nice cup of tea and just had some crumpets. So obviously in the 1960s that would have been an a euphemism for something else. Nice big crumpet.

So what have I been doing? Well let me tell you. I have I mentioned this yesterday I think. I've been started using a thing called Zencast, which is a podcast hosting service.

And hopefully I don't know if you can hear there is a bit of music from downstairs. Not sure if you can hear it on here or not. I can hear it but doesn't really affect me.

Hopefully you're fine. You might be able to hear him slurping away his water. So what I've done is I've added three podcasts so far to the Zencast.

And redirected them out of the RSS feed the new RSS feeds to Apple podcasts. So I have Jason's Bedtime Storytime, Stop Smoking Hypnosis and ASMR Whisper Let Me Bore You To Sleep. So it's quite good.

I've had I've only just I started on. What day is it? Sunday, Sunday, Saturday, Friday. So I started Friday.

And so the 26th I had 11 downloads because I was spending I only like managed to do pretty much finished it on the Friday. The Saturday I did a different a different one. I had 26 downloads between one podcast and a bit of the other podcast.

I finished that one this morning. And then I added the Stop Smoking one and today I've had 298 downloads. So it's just the ones of music are on there as well.

And this compared to I normally get was just like a handful on those podcasts individually. So it's quite good. I'm quite pleased.

But as well as the actual podcasts themselves, I've been making images. Oh, right. What's warming air? I close that door and it just gets so warm.

So Jason's Bedtime Storytime. Let's have a look. So if I look at the website, view podcast website.

It's raining. I'm glad I did the old taking him out for a walk before. Right, so I've got a new banner, a new image for the Bedtime Storytime.

Jason's Bedtime Storytime. So I'm quite pleased with that. And I have this 28 recordings on there.

I do have 30. So I have to upload the other two as well. But I managed to make new images for all 28 different recordings.

And most of them have the recording about music with music 5 hours and 10 hours versions. So it's taken quite a lot of time to put all this together. But I'm glad I did it.

I'm glad it's done. At least this part of it is done. There's a lot more to do.

Because tomorrow, I need to do the images for Oh, blimey. Wow. Yeah.

Some good pictures. I need to do the images. I don't know if I've the images for the stop smoke.

I'm going to stop smoking ones. I have to do images for them. Although I've only uploaded the ones that's quality of sound is okay.

So I've missed out a few of those that were on there before. The ASMR Let Me Bore You To Sleep. That's got a new image for the podcast host for the podcast image.

But view podcast website. Just having a look to see whether or not I can't remember if I did any images. Do I do any images? Oh, I did.

Yeah. So I've got images for all of those is 10, 10 different recordings, and four of each for most of them. So I've got a new images on all of the all of those ones as well.

Oh, I forgot I've done that. So tomorrow, I will do new images for the stop smoking. And then and then and then and then and then.

I'm not sure which one I'm going to do next because I've uploaded all the stop smoking ones. Which means I need to move on to the next thing, the next podcast. I'm trying to do to be honest, I'm trying to do this smaller ones first.

Just because once I get to the really large ones like the deep sleep whisper, if I try and do that one, or the relaxation for stress and panic attacks, because there's 228 recordings on there. Plus the different versions. So what I might try and do is maybe do the sleepy boring objects, sleepy boring objects.

So I've got I've got all new images for that one anyway, which had already uploaded to the speaker one. So what I might do is do the sleepy boring objects podcast and add that to the Zencast.fm podcast host tomorrow. So yeah, it's just a case of, I just want to get it.

I want to get them done, but I want to check and test and see whether or not it's going to work. Okay. I mean, with the speaker podcast, they do allow you, if you go on to the speaker allows you to see all of the recordings, but it doesn't allow me to upload recordings with music.

But for example, the Let Me Bore You To Sleep has all 1104 recordings on there. Apart from the ones that I missed, I've lost a few lost about 818 I think, along the way. So, you know, you can go all the way to the beginning in a sense.

And I've also got all of them on the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast, which is the SoundCloud. But things like, I don't know, Apple podcasts, I think it has the most recent recent 250 recordings. Some some allow more, some have less.

So it's kind of one of those things. I mean, I do realize that more, well, most people tend to listen to the newest stuff, which is a shame because the oldest stuff is probably better. It's pretty.

It's way better. But you know, it's just the way it is. So I don't know, I mean, I've got my website as well, which I'm working on at the same time is a bit of a juggle, to be honest.

And I've got gas, indigestion, rather than gas that like gas. I just did a massive burp. I edited it out.

Don't worry. In that case, why don't you edit out the thoughts? So it's just it's nice to see the stats. I know, you know, we all love hearing about the stats.

But just for example, the which one have I just uploaded the story we we we I'm going to leave my my Spreaker podcasts up as well. Just for now. You know, just just for now.

See what happens. So today, I've had to. This is just it just shows you see on here on this just gives you an example of how different things are compared to when I'm able to have.

Right, when I'm able to have all of the recordings, including ones with music. So today I've had 237 plays. For the last 30 days, I've had 103 plays on the speaker before.

You know, yesterday I had one play, four plays the day before, five the day before that, three, three, one, two, nine, seven, nine, 10. I mean, this is the same RSS feed. It's the same on it was on Apple podcasts and wherever else they share it.

It just shows you how I mean, it's it's amazing. Really last 12 months. The last since I've had the podcast since January, I've had this podcast on speaker.

Jason's bedtime story time when I re uploaded it. 190 plays in since January. So that's 1234 months.

190 and I've had more than that just in the last probably five hours, six hours. And it's just weird. It's it's I mean, I've known for a long time that the most popular recordings are the ones with background music, or the 10 hour ones.

I just know statistically that they've always been the most popular ones. And but at the same time, different people like different things. Some people prefer the recordings without music.

Some people prefer them with music in the background, but just of the link for the recording, whether it's an hour or something. Some people like the five hour ones, some people prefer the 10 hour ones. So it's it really is however weird it might sound.

It is that simple. You know, I've tried in the past to just do 10 hour ones and people have said I've had people contact me say no, can you put the five hour ones back and tried to do them without music at all like wasn't a popular move, which is why I had to not had to but that's why I chose to find another podcast host back in October with SoundCloud so I could I was able to upload my stuff with music.

It's just weird.

It's a weird one. I don't know how to explain it. It's just strange, strange, strange, strange, strange thing.

Yeah, so I've had in the last month I've had 5,872 all together almost on Spreaker between all the podcasts and one of those was because of a particularly good day where I had 770 plays instead of being today I had 70, 85, yesterday 118. And these are through the all the different podcasts that are on Spreaker. And now they're starting to be reduced, you know, in a sense, because the feeds are now coming from a different place.

What I am grateful for. I'm grateful for a few things. And I wasn't grateful for Vinnie biting my foot earlier.

I was outside the park, and I was making my way home. And there was this big dog the side of the road, the other side of the road, he was looking over there. This lady with another person and I thought, he's a big boy.

And she was she said something like, so we went over there. Vinnie was nervous. Bless him.

And he kind of stayed near my near my leg, which isn't something he normally does. So he was a little bit I wish he said that her dog was got used to get anxious and stuff. So I guess he picked up on that.

And then I saw the dog was a slobbered a little bit when he got anxious, and slobbered on my leg. And she said, I was sorry about that. So that's why I've had worse on there.

Realize that probably wasn't the best thing to say. So I moved on quick. And I saw someone across the road walking into the into the park, who I used to see regularly with his mom.

You should see them in the park nearly every well, most probably at least three times a week, sometimes more in the evening to see them and have a chat with his mom. And I haven't seen him for absolutely ages. And what I did is, I kind of said, well, I've got to go and see him.

So I'm kind of busy walking quite quickly. Perhaps he saw me. He's walking very quickly away, screaming.

No, no, help. And so I can follow him. And as I'm moving quite quickly, which I don't normally do, Vinnie decides it's, I don't know what he decided, but he decided to start biting my foot.

He's looking at me. Yeah, I did say your name. And I did say about you biting me.

I remember everything we do. I do start biting my shoe, because I don't have any socks on. Why don't I have socks on? Well, I've got used to not wearing socks.

I've not worn socks all the way through the winter, or most of the way through the winter, because I broke my toe. So I had about two months where I couldn't wear socks. And then after that, it was kind of, I don't know, February time.

And I just, just stopped wearing socks. I haven't worn socks at all since. I do wear shoes.

I'm not crazy. I do wear shoes, but it's just I don't wear socks. And the weird thing about it, it doesn't make that much difference to warmth.

I thought it would. I thought like, my feet would be cold, but they're cold. I mean, they're concealed inside the shoe.

And then the trousers or my tracksuit bottoms cover the top of the shoe. So my, my ankles aren't really exposed to the elements as it were. So yeah, enough.

Anyway, I caught up with him, but then he was biting like really at my shoe, like really like grabbing it. It's like, what are you doing? I think he just didn't want to go back into the park because he'd got out of there and he wanted to go home. Anyway, so I went back in the park and I managed to catch up with the bloke and like, and Vinnie danced.

That's the thing I used to like, because this dog, I forget his name now, but he, Vinnie dances with him. They literally stand on their back legs and put their eyes around each other and just dance around. And it's one of the few dogs he does that with.

And it's just so lovely to watch. I love it. So anyway, yeah, I sort of like, I thought he was on his own.

I thought, oh no, I hope his mom's okay, but she is. They, so it's good. They take the dogs separately because there's two dogs.

One of them is fairly elderly. So they, one stays at home, looks after the dog while the other one takes the other dog out. So I'm glad she's all right.

Anyway, she's a really nice woman. Had a lot of chats with her last year. So yeah, I know what you're thinking.

Can you tell us more about the stats? We haven't quite heard enough. Okay. Well, the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast, normally on a weekend, it goes down.

It's just a quieter, it's quieter on a weekend. Just statistically, generally it's quieter for some reason. Well, not this weekend.

See yesterday on the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast, 2,677 plays. And today so far, 2,307 plays. And it's nine o'clock.

So probably still another three hours left. Still probably, there is another three hours left. It's nine, 10, three hours, two hours and 50 minutes if you want to be precise.

So that's all right. And I look at the stats and like still not telling me where anyone's from. If I say what about the last seven days, I've had 13,990 plays the last seven days, a couple of quite slow days, one at 1,216, one at 1,364.

All the other days have been much better. But locations. Yeah, there's what countries, mainly United Kingdom, then United States, then Canada.

And, you know, huge amounts of different places around, around the country and around America and everything. And then if I sign out there, the Deep Sleep Whistle one is just getting hardly anything. I don't know why it's just not updating the RSS feeds not updating from SoundCloud.

I don't know why I've tried to fix it, but I can't. So I'm probably not straight away. But I'm going to look at setting up on the Zencast, the Deep Sleep Whisper one, because it's just silly.

It's getting, you know, it's like, well, I'm getting, I think for the for the week, I've had something like 245 plays, which is, it doesn't make sense to me that, you know, that's that's not the number I would get for that podcast. That's always been a fairly popular podcast. And not bragging, I'm just saying out of all the podcasts, that is the one of the ones that has generally been fairly, fairly liked for some reason, I don't know why.

So my podcast hypnosis for sleeping deeply. Last seven days, 52,822 plays today, and I don't know why, but I've had 15,614 plays just on that podcast. Really, really don't know why.

I mean, you know, I normally get like 5000 plus on that podcast daily, usually 56,000, sometimes 10,000, 6000, and then 15,500. So I really don't get it. I mean, the last 30 days, I've had 187,000 plays, or 187,032 plays in the last 30 days, which is, I don't know, it's quite good for one podcast.

I guess. Yeah. Quite good.

So but then I think, okay, where's who's listening? Who's there? Is anybody there? And I have a look and there's still I'll see all okay, countries, United States of America, Canada and Denmark. I mean, UK is there, but it's not not in the top three. It's just give me the top three.

There's 187,000. And it's only given me. Why is it only give me those three countries, because that only makes up 65, 75, 85, 95, 100, 126, 126,000.

So what about the other 60, 64,000? I guess it's the UK. I don't know. Who knows? Who knows? So I wonder what the wonder wonder what the most popular recording is.

The last week, joined my Facebook group 10 hours long. That was the most popular one. For the last week on here.

The last 30 days. Most popular recording was Let Me Bore You To Sleep. 10 hours long 1092 ordering Vinnie's new lead.

That was Yeah, 1313. Second most popular than last month. Last 30 days was 10 hour long 1093.

Let me boil your sleep live on YouTube. 889 plays. Third was the 10 hour version of a Cinderella ish story.

Number 28. Nine, Jason's bedtime story. 880 Wow, place.

So I don't know. All time. I said all time.

Well, blimey, I didn't really go. It's really weird. When I look at this.

I had no idea. So I knew which one the top one was. I did know the second one was so all time now since October, October, November, December, January, February, March, April for six months.

So help with addiction number two friends. It was on the 1st of February 2024. So February, March, less than two months, 10 hour version 14,111 plays.

And then the second most popular since October was 23rd of December. It's boxing time. Let me boil your sleep 1062 10 hour version 8605 plays.

And number three, number three is 190 deep sleep whisper hypnosis five hour version 2542 Wow. So just I wonder if it gives me the stats gives me this seven. Okay.

Oh, well, I don't know. So yeah, so that's what's that's loud, isn't it? That's what's going on. Do you want to see the stats for Let Me Bore You To Sleep? And for the deep sleep whisper? Sorry, deep sleep whisper.

Here we go. Come on. You're for this embarrassment.

That's a problem with honesty. You get to see the sad side as well. seven days 267 plays today 21 plays.

I mean, I don't know what it's just something wrong there. Something really wrong. I don't get it.

Oh, well. So if I come out of there, it's just just pointless. sign in.

So you got to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My question is, which is the most popular ones out of the Let Me Bore You To Sleep ones. Since I started, just feel like it's like the next question really.

So the last seven days most popular one is join my Facebook group. So and then money, money, money, money, money, money, money, molly, molly, molly, molly. So this is an enjoy my Facebook group five hour version.

Number one was 10 hour version and then 10 hour version of 1102 molly, molly, molly, molly, molly. Yeah, okay. So 30 days, what's the most popular recording over the last 30 days? Live on YouTube.

1093 404 plays. Second last 30 days. Q&A Friday number three.

1100 and 351 plays and then live on YouTube 1093 324. 124. Okay, so the live on YouTube ones.

Ironic is no one listened on YouTube when I was doing it. So all together. Since October, the most popular recordings on the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast, or the Yeah, this is the most popular recordings.

Bearing in mind, there's been 553,739 plays. So number one is 1052. Where are you listening from? 10 hours long.

And that's 1406 plays. Number two is number 1054, Tyson Fury's fight as a 29th of October. And last year, so that was 10 hours long.

1352 plays. And the third since October is I'm watching Big Brother. Number 1053.

Let Me Bore You To Sleep 1271 plays. And that's also for 10 hours, 10 hour version. Isn't it weird that the three most popular recordings were all in October? Oh, well, mind you, I did have I did have a suppose Yeah, I recorded less in December and January.

And so October, because that's when I uploaded loads. So I had 261,570 plays. November 60,530.

But then, which is kind of normal, even like because the first month, because it's just all the all the stuff was uploaded. December. Well, at the end of November, I had a had a blip in my life.

So I think December and January, I didn't record huge amounts of stuff, if I remember rightly. So I had 27,500 plays in December, January 24,756 plays. And in February, I start to kind of do stuff again.

So it's 50 50 and a half thousand 71,000 185 in March, April got got less in April than in March, April 57,713. So I guess I must have done more, made more recordings in March than I did in April. So yeah, that's generally how it works is, if I do a recording every day, I just I guess it's just I guess it makes sense, I suppose.

The more records I do, the more recordings will be listened to, I suppose. I mean, there's a lot of podcasters out there that would make one episode a week and build up a really large audience through that. I do one episode every 10 minutes, and I've got five people listen to me.

So it's weird, isn't it? Isn't it strange? How the cookie crumbles? Yes. So there's no I'm gonna get rid of shut down some of this stuff. I don't look at it anymore.

I've had enough of looking at podcasts and all that stuff. I've been staring at the screen all day long since early hours in the morning, with breaks, but just like on and off. I've got a lot done, which I'm pleased about.

But and on a Sunday, I don't always get a huge amount done. I haven't spent quite as much time dozing as I normally do on a Sunday, which is okay. But it is nearly time for bed.

When I've done this, I'll be going to bed. He's already been out. I don't feel that he needs to go out again because I've only been back one hour and a half from going out.

So I think he should be all right until the morning. I think I don't know. And it's half past nine.

I'm back to the routine of making the recording in the evening. And then in the morning, do the editing and the processing and all that stuff. It's quite nice to do it when I feel fresh.

Instead of trying to do it when I'm tired. Because once I've made a recording, I kind of don't want to do anything. Yeah.

Or not that I don't want to do anything, but it's nice to do something unrelated to it. So I'll just go and tap dance or, you know, something like that. As you do.

See if there's any. Let's see what stats are on. Let's have a look.

YouTube. I've got 1184 subscribers. I've lost about two, two or three in the last couple of weeks.

So I was uploading podcast episodes, so I've got rid of all of them. Because people didn't like that for some reason. So I started going back to making videos again, but they're static picture videos, but I'm doing them so they look fairly good.

It's a nice image. And I've been uploading the just the latest recordings. So I did the 1103 and 1104.

Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Q&A Friday. And I mentioned you in this one.

That was yesterday's one. And it's basically the podcast image photograph. On one part of one side of the of the image.

The other part of the image is the podcast main podcast image now, which has got Vinnie on the front wearing headphones. And then there's just the like a yellow bit at the top on the left side with the number and the subscribe thing. That's it.

So what I'll do is, I think I probably just have that as the the template for future videos that I upload to YouTube. And just change it around depending on where, what kind of podcast it is. And I still don't get many.

I mean, the statistics have gone way down, way down on YouTube. I mean, I've had 91 views in the last 48 hours. See, I'll tell you, I'll tell you that sometimes I think people think, oh, you're just bragging about your stats or you've had 15,000 today, but then like, yeah, but I've also, I've also had about 22 on YouTube.

So, you know, it's, it's not all going in the right direction, necessarily. I think the YouTube poor. I don't know.

It's I get I gain momentum and then I do something silly and it messes it up. But the last video I did that actually had any kind of interest was yeah, never. 273 503.

So the last one that actually had any kind of number, decent numbers was one I posted on the 13th of March. It was an old recording number 13 relax and sleep hypnosis daily. So it's from like a couple of years back 503 views.

And that's probably the most popular one I've got on the whole list. There's another one at 432. I've got 187 videos on here.

And there's there are some videos of me as well. As some older videos, but sort of fairly good quality sound and video. Yeah, so it's not like awful.

But it, you know, I kind of decided I'm not going to have any videos of music, any background music or anything like that on YouTube. So everything I've got on here is just even me on camera. I see early stuff.

I don't don't really do that really much anymore. But or a video put together of a podcast episode. And that's what I've got on my YouTube channel 187 videos.

So yeah, that's it really. I wonder if I've got any, any Facebook messages or no. Now, you know, whenever I post anything on my actual Facebook page, right, you're ready for this.

Dry throat. I keep trying to drink my tea. I find sometimes tea and causes coughing.

So she want to try and drink it when I'm standing on my head. You know, I post my videos, or my podcasts on to YouTube on to sort of Facebook. So I'm distracted.

I post my podcast episodes onto Facebook. I just post the ones about music. And the 10 hour one.

Oh, more gas blimey. I keep burping. So yeah, yesterday's was I mentioned you in this one.

That's really in response to the question about one of my previous recordings. Whether or not I'm. So yeah.

So that's weird. I get the occasional like, I think one from Diana, one from Sebastian, one from Molly, couple two from Molly, three from Molly, four from Molly, five from Molly. Stalker.

Stalker alert. But yeah, hardly anybody. And it's weird considering I've got technically 3.8 thousand friends.

And I don't really hardly know anyone. It's that's why I did the group because it's just a bit easier to kind of get to know a few people in my own little way. And try and see what people like.

So you know, that's why I got the group that Jason Newland's boring. Did I say Newland? Jason Newland's boring group, which is now up to 160 members. So I have to check to see who's joined.

And whoever it is, is going to, you're going to be the title of this recording. Welcome, whatever your name is. What's this? Teresa says this episode made me laugh out loud.

Living in South Carolina, Florida and Georgia. I grew up with hurricanes, hurricane parties, grilled food outside the home. We don't have underground bankers basements.

Oh, because I did a thing about the Wizard of Oz and stuff, I think. Oh, so there's 160 people. Who's the new member? Joined on Tuesday.

So it's been 160 since Tuesday. It can't be. It's Sunday now.

I'm very confused. Sharice. Sharice.

Sharice. Let's have a look. Hi, Sharice.

So just going to your profile, there's the last post was the 12th of May, 2017. I'll be honest, if it wasn't for, if it wasn't for posting my podcasts on Facebook, I probably wouldn't even go onto Facebook anymore. You know, I think I posted a bit of stuff.

Every now and then, like pictures of Vinnie and I used to post pictures of Andre and stuff like that. But new to the group. So 160 members.

Joined. Joined. Joined.

Joined. New to the group. Joined.

See, joined invite. So if people have joined, why are they not added to the 160? Because there is literally, there are literally way more than 160 people on this list. I mean, this list has, this is new to the group.

See all. See all. I'm confused.

Confused. 160 members. But then there's more than 160 people here.

Maybe I'm wrong. I'm might be making it up. Members with things in common.

What? Okay, new to the group, as well as people who are preview, preview, previewing the group. So there's people who have joined as well as I got one, two, I'm not going to count all of them, but there's loads. May way more than 160.

Because this is people joined a month ago. But there's loads and loads and well, so I just saw. Oh, okay.

I don't know. I'm confused now. Very confused.

I just I don't know what to make of it. That's all I'm saying. I'm just I'm flummoxed.

Flummy, wummy. Flummy, wummy in my tummy. I don't know.

Anyway. So according to this, there are 160 members. Or we have got 160 members in our group.

See, it's all about sharing. 49 friends are in there. So it's 49 people.

I'm actually friends with on Facebook, out of the 160. And as I say to people now anyone that wants to get in contact with me, it's better just to join the group. Then you can contact me on here.

It's literally there are hundreds. There's way if I added this all up. Should I add it up just to just to prove a point? Should I? I'll tell you what I'm gonna go down to the bottom of the list.

And I'm going to add up all the ones that say that they joined. And then I'm going to ask Molly the boss, can you figure out because I'm very confused. Very, very confused.

But who was the very first person to join? I wonder. Me. I was.

And then Chad. Chad joined five years ago. Then Nadia.

Then ex-Greegie, ex-Zanarex. That's Scottish are beautiful. I think.
