And yeah, that's it really. So what else? Oh, I do have a website called jasonnewland.com. I just got something on Twitter saying that John Fury, which is Tyson Fury's father, has challenged Mike Tyson to a fight and Mike Tyson has accepted. Oh, so that'd be interesting.

I was I was was was going to video this episode. But unfortunately, I couldn't find the correct bit, bits and bobs in order to put the camera onto the camera holder thing. There's this one little bit that just is missing for some reason.

Bit like my brain. Okay, well, there's most of it's missing, I think. But yeah, so I didn't in the end, I've just, I spent, I started recording this 10 minutes ago.

And I thought, oh, just just quickly stick it on the tripod and I'll get it going. And first of all, I couldn't find the tripod. And then I did find it.

And then didn't have the attachment that goes onto it. And I found that. But then I didn't find the thing between that and thing.

That makes sense. I couldn't does that make sense? I couldn't find the thing that goes in between the thing and the thing. Yeah.

So for before I start, perhaps I can read out some messages I've had to say hello to some of the messages. And there was one thing I wanted to say hello. Oh, my phone is really warm.

So look, I wanted to say thank you to to to to to to to. So I had a Facebook gift the other day. And I wasn't able to reply.

For some reason. I did reply to Mary. I hope I did.

But for some reason, the apps not letting me reply. But Mary, thank you. I got another one, but I can't find it.

For some reason, it's not showing it up. Why? Why is it not showing it up? Because I got Oh, that's really weird. Home payments.

Give request bill. That's very strange. I can't even find it now.

It's almost like it's just deleted it. Which of the old gel had a message and this is on the 19th of October. So but there was no way of I don't know where to send a message to because there's nothing on.

That's weird. Just playing with my ear and stuff. Stuff.

But I didn't have any I probably pronounced that wrong. But I didn't have any email or anything to reply to. So which is I don't know if it's a new thing that PayPal are doing because it used to allow me just to send a message.

There's no there's no hoops to jump through no secret codes to to crack or anything like that. It's just it's private because it's just for people so they can come you know, talk to each other and whatever if you want to and follow what I'm up to. There's a message Ken posted.

And kissy says do you beach a lot? And so I'm not quite I'm a bit confused by that message by the whole. But I think part of the reason is because I did my last podcast episode, which was on the 25th of October. So it's two days ago.

Number 1052. And I titled it Where are you listening from? Well, look, I've got a new message. I've got a new message on my website.

How weird is that? Just a second. Just come in. This is says, Tony.

Hi, Jason, I should read it before I read it out really, shouldn't I? I'll be listening to your podcast for a few years now, particularly Let Me Bore You To Sleep. There's Tony and GB's a great UK. Thank you so much for everything you do.

It's the same you had to remove the background music. I get that your podcast host may have had an issue with the five to 10 hour ones. But would they have an issue with the background music in the shorter ones? And the answer that is yes.

And even Spotify now doesn't allow background music. According to Spotify, Spotify have been deleting stuff as well. It's I don't know, it must be some kind of copyright.

Maybe they got stung. Someone was using copyrighted music and you maybe they got charged money or lost money. I don't know.

So that's all got a blanket ban on it. The music I use is copyright free. So I don't use copyrighted music.

But that doesn't seem to make any difference. So Spreaker, the podcast host that I had, I'm still with them for a couple of podcasts, but and I get very few, I get just a few 100 downloads a day now on those podcasts. Spotify, as I said, is not, they're just I've had quite a few emails from them.

And I've tried to separate the podcasts that I've got that I've uploaded again with music, separate. So I've uploaded those just to be available on Apple Music, or Apple podcasts, rather. Okay, I particularly liked when in one podcast, you pretend to fart.

And that really helped me to get to sleep. So could you please fart more? That doesn't say that. So I particularly liked when in one podcast, I think you're listening, you're listening different languages.

I forgot why. But casually introducing a list into the podcast was a really good device to get me to drift off like counting sheep. And I don't know what I was doing.

I can't remember. I don't really, to be honest, well, thank you for that. But I don't really remember what I said in the last podcast.

Nevermind previous ones. Partly because I don't plan what I'm going to talk about. I generally have no idea.

You know, sometimes I'll have an idea in the sense of I've just contradicted myself. I might think during the day or I'll talk about that. If I do my podcast, I'll talk about that.

You know, let's say it's something happened on the bus or something, a silly thing happened. Whilst out skiing or you know, skydiving or something, you know, just like I was skydiving, I decided to realize I had a tuna sandwich in my in my pocket. So I had that to eat.

I realized, oh no, if the parachute doesn't open, this will be my last meal. Tuna fish sandwich? No. And we laughed.

But then, you know, then sometimes I forget I have an idea maybe of something I'm going to talk about earlier on. But then when I actually press the record button and start to converse or talk at you, I guess I don't really have any kind of agenda or list of topics to discuss. I mean, the only I suppose, I do do that with the Sleepy Boring Objects podcast.

And that's when I talk about a specific subject or object. Cheese, for example, or karate, or shoes, or you know, whatever it might be. And I'll talk for maybe half an hour to an hour on that one subject.

I don't. I mean, it's not really any different from these Let Me Bore You To Sleep, except I do stick to the subject, kind of. Kind of, I might stray a little bit.

It's gonna be hard for those who listen regularly to believe that I would stray from the topic that I had chosen to discuss. But sometimes I do get distracted by myself. I do distract myself, which is maybe a weird concept, actually.

So yeah, there's Mmm, you know, what we're talking about, anyway, listen to top 10. Oh, yeah, top 10. So yeah, I do.

I don't remember talking about countries and languages and that. Maybe it was the last one, because I was talking about, if I remember, I was talking about stats, but more not so much about how many downloads or plays I was getting more for where people were listening from. Yeah, around the world, according to the statistics.

And that just interests me, because I wonder if people really are, where people are listening from, I have, you know, I know, roughly, due to the stats, how many plays I'm getting, you know, roughly, I mean, it's a little bit different now. It's all gone pear shaped recently, because I lost a lot of probably lost a lot of listeners actually, due to my podcasts going down the swanny, as it were.

And but I've been working for the last couple of weeks or three weeks to rebuild stuff.

I was able to save was it 2050 recordings without music. And quite a lot of the other stuff I managed to save also with music, except the let me boy to sleeps. And I don't know how many of the deep sleep whisper hypnosis ones.

So yeah, I'm still in the process of trying to sort through it all. It's a big task. I mean, might seem might not seem like it from the outside.

But believe me, it really is. It's I'm not quite enjoy it. The only the only problem I enjoy it sometimes, but it's sometimes, for example, the building of the website.

So let's say I'm pasting the player for each recording. And at the moment, I'm doing it for the Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Some up to 500.

And what is it? Okay, 600. So from one up to 600. I've done every episode that I've been able to save there, you can download the recording as well as also stream or play the episode on the website.

Now, there's 1052 or something altogether, take away the ones that I lost. It's quite a task. I mean, to get to 600.

It's just, it's like a never ending thing. It's just cut, copy, paste, copy, paste, copy, paste, check, download, upload, copy, all that stuff. It just, it's quite, you could say, repetitive, a bit repetitive.

But like me, I guess. Can't believe it's Friday already. I do believe it's not like, wow, I can't move, I can't function.

I've got so much disbelief. Not like that. But just Friday, it's the week really seems to have gone by rather quickly this week.

Rather quickly indeed, quite fast. You know what quickly means? Okay. And because I've been working on a website for a while now.

And because there's so many Let Me Bore You To Sleep episodes. I've actually forgotten how many of the Deep Sleep Whisper ones that I've done that are on the website. So when I finished the Let Me Bore You To Sleep, I'll have to go through them all and check them all again, make sure they're all there.

And then I'll start on the Deep Sleep Whisper ones. Start from one to 507, whatever it is I've got. With, you know, obviously, there are missing ones, they're ones that are not there, that I lost.

And there's still over 400 of those. I think 417 or something like that, or 420. So once that's done, then I'll do the Relaxes Sleep Hypnosis Daily, I'll go through all of those.

There's about 207 I think of those. Once that's done, then I'll look at doing the other podcasts onto the website and making every single recording 2051 of them or whatever, all available to both stream and play on the website, as well as download. So you can keep the recording forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever.

And when that is done, and all the podcasts or recordings are done, sorted, I will then start to look at the recordings with music. And if I'm able to make those available also to stream and to download on the website. And we're going back to the message from from Tony.

One, okay, so I was listening to the Let Me Boyd Asleep last night when you were going through your stuff. Oh, it says last night. So yeah.

So yeah, the top 10 countries that listen to you. Oh, wait a minute. But I'm missing a big bit out here.

Sorry. I tend to listen to your podcast in order and are about three months behind your latest one. Happy very belated birthday by the way.

Not too bad money for you to not to not doing too bad for that. I was listening to Let Me Boyd Asleep last night when you were going through your stats again. Again.

Again, you judging me? Again, blimmin stats. We do is to read stats. And you were listening, you're listing the top 10 countries that listen to you.

Then you went on to break down how people listen to you by podcast app, device type, and so on. One thing that was glaringly obvious to me is that virtually your entire or entire audience listens on an iPhone through Apple's default podcast app. Apple has roughly 50% of the smartphone market in Europe and North America, and less than 30% of the market globally.

I've never owned an Android phone, but a quick internet was a whistle. A quick internet search told me that the default podcast cost podcast app on Android phones is Google podcasts. So if was if I was in your situation, I'd be thinking, how do I get more people to listen to me on Google podcasts app might be worth doing a search to see how easily you come up on the on that app.

Or if there's a way you can let people know. This is a book I'm reading a book here. This is a very long message.

I do appreciate it. Blimey, it's a book. I'm tired now.

My eyes I want to go for a sleep. And I understand you already thought about this. I don't hear you, but I don't hear you mention Google podcasts much when talking about your stats.

On Spreaker. Now Spreaker has changed a lot for me now. I'm still on there.

Let me just go there and I'll show you what I mean. And I won't show you I'll tell you. I've got 123456789 10 11 12 13 14 15.

I've got 16 podcasts on Spreaker still. But yeah, there's there. They're not getting the hardly any traffic.

So I've kind of I mean, today, I can't even believe I mean, I was getting more than this five years ago. Today so far on Spreaker about 196 downloads among all of those different podcasts 196. So what is it the 20 2025 26 was it 27th.

Now if I go back before I had my podcast taken down and before they decided to ban music. So if I go back to the third of October, so you know, a couple of weeks, three weeks ago, I had 12,400 12,437 downloads. So it just gives you an idea how much it's dropped.

And last month, I had 238 and a half thousand downloads, which, again, it was quite a slow month, to be honest. But then this time of year does get a little bit slow. So you know, it's just just how it is.

But now it's gone. It's really gone. And the last time I had even a the 13th of October, I had 4343 downloads.

And that's 1314 1516 1718 1920. So literally, that's two weeks, two weeks. And yeah, it's, it's a shame.

I'm laughing. But 190 downloads in one day is it's a little bit embarrassing, really. But the reason I mentioned this is because we talk about the stats.

We're also you're talking about Google podcasts. Well, if I just go for the last 30 days, which will include the other play, you know, the before I got my podcast deleted and had to get rid of the music ones and start to change my podcast over 90% of my downloads on plays were on Apple podcasts. 3% were on Spotify.

So I was on all of these. I'm on. I'm also on Google podcasts.

I was the Google podcast 0%. I weren't playing anything. I'm not sure why maybe they've done the same thing is nothing with music.

No, wait a minute. No. 389 plays, but it wasn't enough to actually be a percentage.

Overcast, podcast addict, iHeartRadio, CastBox, VLC, Oh, Spreaker, Spreaker, I had less than Google podcasts, Amazon Music, Pocket Cast, Amazon, Alexa Media Player, Deezer, Luminary, my website, AntennaPod, Podbing, PodTrack. So I was or I was I don't know if I still am on Podbing or on Google podcasts. But the last 12 months, let's have a look, Google podcasts.

I've had just under 10,000 downloads and plays on Google podcasts. And over three and a half million on Apple podcasts. So you see there's quite a bit of difference.

Huge difference between the two. I mean, blimey, Spotify 73,000. So still, so Apple podcast was 91%.

Spotify was 2%. And a couple of 1% is with 43,000 40,000 30,000 20,000 1414 1111 or whatever. So it came to three 3.8 million in the last 12 months.

So yeah, it's I have been on all the different podcast hosts, or, you know, different, not hosts, but the different places where you listen. But Apple podcasts has been the top one. And I've never really, I mean, I've, I've looked at the stats, I've got access to the stats on Spotify.

And people do listen to me on Spotify, but not a huge amount compared to a set like 2% of the audience. But then it's gone weird, because I've gone weird, I have gone very, very weird. Because I started doing I started my stuff.

I feel I'm repeating what I said yesterday, or two days ago. I started using SoundCloud, I've now got five of my podcasts on SoundCloud. To all five different accounts, five different podcasts.

So there's the Let Me Boy The Sleep. There is the I don't know what is called, what's it called? Deep Sleep, Whisper Hypnosis. Blimey.

The Hypnosis for Sleep and Deeply with Music. There's the Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily. And there's Relax Sleep and Pain Relief podcast.

And what I've decided is I'm going to have I've uploaded all the ones without music, pretty much on each of those podcasts. I'm also uploading or have all the ones with music as well. So ones with just music in the background, 5 hours and 10 hours.

I've not completed it all. But that's what I decided to do. The problem is, it means I can't share it on other podcasts like Spotify, because Spotify won't allow them.

And do you see my quandary? It's a weird, weird situation to be in really. I don't really understand what the problem is with having a bit of background music, especially when it's copyright free. So I broke no copyright laws.

And what I do is, you know, it's my own material, it's my own voice, it's, it's not AI, not an AI voice, which you will be getting a lot of in the future. Not from me, but hopefully not from me. But a lot of podcasts guarantee you if not even already being done, will be maybe not podcasts, but YouTube videos definitely already been done with AI voices.

So you can pretty much put together a podcast if you wanted to, if you could find a voice good enough. And you can clone your own voice as well. I've tried mine, it didn't come out so well.

I sounded like I sounded really boring and slow. And I know I don't sound like that. I know that I'm a I talk very quickly and it's a very, very exciting voice.

And so you could actually go and use AI to produce a script, you know, choose through choose a topic, produce a script, last in however long you want it to last, you could get it to come up with a title, a summary, description, keywords, all that stuff. And then you could use AI to read it out, and then put it onto a podcast. And it would just you know, it's done.

So you literally are not doing anything but upload the thing. You know, going through the process of, I guess, choosing what you want to be said. So okay, the AI has come up with that.

Yeah, fair enough. And just going along with it. But I'm guessing a lot of people would be able to see or hear that it's not real.

But I don't know, maybe not. I don't know if it will be detectable. If I was to use AI with my podcast.

I don't know. I mean, it might, it might be better if I did it that way. It might actually probably make more sense, wouldn't it? If I use AI to write, you know, an hour of me talking, it probably would be a bit more succinct.

Like that word. Can't say it can't spell it. But doesn't stop me from attempting.

So thanks, Tony, for that message. Yeah. So I mean, I, I'm grateful that I get people listening on Apple podcasts.

But I do know I get people listening on other things as well. And I don't know, I mean, I mean, at the moment, I'm getting people listening on Spotify. Now Spotify is not Spotify.

SoundCloud. SoundCloud itself has got a large audience around the world. I'm not quite sure what it is, what the audience is, but it's, it's hard to really know who's listening.

I mean, I know it's not really any of my business really, is it? Who's listening necessarily. But I do want to know and I want to know now. I want to know now.

So is it yesterday or today? Yesterday, I think I started the podcast relax and sleep hypnosis daily, and I transferred it. So I've had to re upload, I've not done it all, but I'm doing it now. SoundCloud.

And I put the RSS feed into Apple podcasts. So it's not shared anywhere else at the moment. And I mean, you know, it's only been up and running for a day.

So but today I've had over 2000 plays. But I just don't know who's listening. You know, it says here the top listeners has got has had one play, or two people down as a top listeners and had one play.

But then I've got areas where I've had hundreds of downloads, or hundreds of plays on that podcast. So Leighton in London, Birmingham, Traverse City, Miami, Toronto, Pulaski, Eugene, Eugene, Glasgow, Preston, El Paso, Calgary, Elk Grove, you know, different countries, United States at the top, no United Kingdom at the top, United States second, Canada, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Sweden, Colombia. And then you got Pakistan, Republic of Korea.

So there's, you know, it's, it's really hard to figure out how things are going. Because I was so used to the Spreaker. And doing that, you know, being with them for the last five years.

I used to do a SoundCloud for about 10 years before that. And I was getting about a couple 100,000 downloads or plays a year. And I was pleased with that I thought I was doing quite well.

And yeah, so it's, it was quite good. But then the last 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24. And last 24 days, I've had 235,000 plays of the Let Me Bore You To Sleep.

So yeah, I can't figure it out. I'm lost. Completely flummoxed.

So the top people listen to that is North Vancouver in Canada, I think, and Andover and Maastricht. So there's that one. Let's have a look.

So how are you doing anyway? Are you well? Are you? Are you? Not a lot been going on. It's, it's been quite nice weather, but it's also been, you know, as the temperatures has dropped, which it should do considering we're at the end of the month nearly the end of October. But it's still been nice.

I think it's if it's not a full moon, it's nearly a full moon tonight. And then it is what? That's weird. There's been I don't know.

So yeah, I've got, um, let's go into this one. What is this one? hypnosis, relaxed stress and pain relief hypnosis. Okay, got here.

That's been quite a good day today. Just over 6000. So Sydney.

So today. Today, the top one is Elko New Market in America. I don't know where that is.

Sydney and Castle Rock. So that's the top three locations. And there's Romford, Dr. Nantes, Cress Hill, Cresskill, Louisville, Brisbane, Draper, Rockland, Ilford, Santo Rosso di Viterbo, Brussels.

So wherever you're from, hey, hi, how you doing? Groovy. And what's the other one? Deep Sleep Whisper. So what did I think I started that on a couple of days ago? And yeah, I did literally yet on yesterday, blimey.

So 27th, October 27. That's weird. Last seven days.

October 27, October 26. 9, October 26, October 27. That's a very, very strange thing they've done there.

What have they done that for? Today? That's really weird. So yesterday 8500. Today 4000 so far.

Yeah. So that's something I've only had that for a day. So that's that's not too bad.

Again, it's nowhere else. Norwich, Genio, Gineo, City and Brisbane are the top three places people listen in London, Slough, Melbourne. You know where Slough is? It's the place where do you remember the office, the UK version of the office? That's where they were set in Slough.

So sign out there sign in to the one with music. Thing is, because now there's five different podcasts, I'm losing track a little bit of what I'm doing. So this is this has been quite good.

It's gone quite well. So what we've done last 30 days. So since the 18th, 19, 19, 20, 21, 22.

So it's what nine days. So, so today. What? Wait a minute.

That's not right. Can't be right. Last seven days.

Can't be correct. Surely. Wow.

Yeah. So that's nine and a half thousand plays on that one. That's weird.

That's quite a lot. Foster City, Dubai and Bangor are the three top places on that one. Augustus, Istanbul, Grand Budapest, Manchester, Thule.

Anyway, I'll stop talking about this. It's boring. He keeps kicking me.

Because then I can just get on, you know, I don't know what with but get on with making new recordings. I know I'm doing one now, but I just like it to be complete. I'd like the website to be completed.

I'd like all the recordings to be uploaded onto all the podcasts. And then I can, a bit like what Tony said, start to look at maybe how can I get myself onto some of the other podcasts, directories. I've got a few ideas.

So we'll see. And one of the good things about SoundCloud is you can make playlists, which is something I've done. I've also posted, I've made some of those playlists, lists, those lists is available on my website.

It also makes it a little bit easier. So because, you know, I think Spotify, not Spotify, Apple podcasts, I think it plays the last 250 episodes. Maybe it's 150.

I think it's 250. So you're not going to have if you go, so if you go on to Apple podcasts, you're not going to have access to the earlier stuff. But if you go to the SoundCloud podcast itself, you will, you'll have access to every single recording.

So for example, for the deep sleep whisper hypnosis, you'll have access to all 500 or whatever that I saved of the ones without music, the ones with music, five hours and 10 hours. So that will be eventually, it'll be into into individual playlists. It may take some while, but it will be done.

It's just, you know, it's it's it. I'm trying not to juggle because I find that I just never get any work. I never get anything done when I'm juggling because I enjoy it so much.

What's all that juggling? That's just I'm very much a one doing one thing person. You know, it's a little bit like cooking, I struggle a little bit with trying to cook more than okay, let's say, okay, let's say something has to go into the oven for 40 minutes. But then another thing has to go into the oven or has to but it needs to go into the oven if you wish to have this particular item part of your meal.

It needs to go in for 30 minutes. And another thing needs to go in for maybe 10 minutes. And perhaps the last thing needs to go in for just you know, maybe five minutes like a Yorkshire pudding.

How to balance that? You know, like, well, that needs to go for 40 minutes. The next thing needs to go in 30 minutes. So we need to put that in and then wait for 10 minutes and then put the other thing in.

But that doesn't only needs 10 minutes. So I'm gonna have to wait another 10 minutes. No.

4030. The other thing needs 20 minutes. So I'll wait 10 minutes put that in there's another 20 minutes.

And then you know, it's just it's put me right off my dinner. If I'm honest, I don't even want to wait now. I'd rather just just have a biscuit.

Because all that effort that goes into it. Is it really worth it? I'm not sure. I'm not sure.

I'm glad I didn't make the video now because I'm half asleep. I don't know why I leave it to the end of the day before I make these. I mean, there used to be a there used to be a time I used to leave it to the end of the day.

I'm slurring now. I used to leave it to the end of the day. Due partly because then I could talk about my adventures.

Now, you might find that humorous considering I've never actually talked about anything interesting ever. But it you know, there isn't much really happening around here. Nothing really.

Although we're gonna have a new neighbor downstairs soon and the little one underneath the table right now I won't say his name begins with V and every single sound from downstairs because I would doubt someone was down there today. And he's barking and barking and just it's freaking him out a little bit. Because he's not used to hearing sounds from down there.

Because he hasn't heard anyone down there for a while. I'm hoping that you know, when someone does move in, he adapts to it nice and quickly. So he's no longer going to take any notice of it.

Otherwise, I just I don't want to be the bad neighbor with the noisy dog upstairs. You know, I don't want that. That would just annoy me.

And I realized that although they might hear it, it's not going to be as loud as it is for me because you know, there's a concrete floor and everything. But it's still just I don't want to put that on someone else. They people should be able to have a bit of peace and quiet.

I do believe. Here's something is a bit of trivia. Now the movie The greatest story ever told.

I got no idea. I'm pretty sure. Anyway, the star of the movie was the same actor.

So he played Jesus in that movie. Same actor played Ming the merciless in Flash Gordon, the movie 1980. Did you know that? Did you know that bit of trivia? Now I only found out today.

How amazing is that? And you couldn't get I mean, two different looking people. It's the same person. But it's like, wow.

And I'm just looking at it as a picture of him. He looks well, I mean, I don't know. I mean, he doesn't look like Ming the merciless there anyway.

And it's two different characters and they're very just shows you his, his, his acting skills. Because he goes from playing playing the one of the nicest people to one of the nastiest people. I mean, Ming the merciless.

I mean, it's in the name, isn't it? It's not someone that you'd want to get on the wrong side of, is it? Like, well, you wouldn't would you? It was just Ming. Just Ming. Ming the merciless.

Ming the unforgiving. Oh, okay, maybe. Yeah.

Maybe I should pay back that money that I borrowed. Ding dong, which is the wicked witch. Ding dong, the wicked witch is dead.

So I was surprised is the person that's okay, wait a minute. Zod. Now Zod.

General Zod played by what is going on Zod? Why is it doing that? The actor. General Zod, the actor, played by Terence Stamp. Now, I didn't know that Terence Stamp had been around for a long, long time, a long time.

And he was winning awards right away back in 1962. Billy Budd, he played a film called Billy Budd and he was the main character. He won a Gold Globe Award for the New Star of the Year actor.

Also nominated for the Academy Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. And nominated for BAFTA Award for Best Newcomer. That's just sort of off the top of my head.

Yeah, right. Well, what you got Wikipedia? Yeah, I'm looking at Wikipedia. Blimey.

I don't want stuff like that in my head. I don't want to remember things like that. But I was very surprised because Oh, no, no, no, no, go back.

So he's in Superman, 1978. The first Superman, well, you know, the movie. And then he reprised the role in 1980.

When he was at a much bigger role, you know, he was pretty much the main villain in the in the film. I didn't realize that I was the same person that played, you know, the Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert. He basically he won got nominated and everything for loads of awards for that.

And you could say it's a very different role. Very different, much, much more different. And I remember seeing him in a movie.

And I didn't know. I didn't know who it was. But I liked him.

In the movies. He was because he's 85 now. There's this movie and he's basically played a I would say Bitter Harvest.

That's the one. Nope. That's not the one.

Not Last Night in Soho. Viking Destiny, Odin. Nope, not that one.

Big Eyes, Song for Marion. That must be that one. Yeah, that's it.

So he plays a grumpy husband of a lady who's unwell. And he joins a choir or something like that. It's a really good movie.

It's sad and but he's he plays the these plays, he's got a real presence to him. We're all kind of let's repeat the word presence. Not in a kind of spooky way.

There's a presence in that house. And not in a celebratory way like under the tree presence, but just more. He was also in Smallville Jor-El 23 episodes.

Wow. Jor-El was Jor-El is a character by is a Superman's biological father, the husband of Lara, and leading scientist on the planet Krypton before its destruction. So Jor-El is Superman's daddy.

Okay. I used to watch I used to watch Smallville used to be on a Sunday afternoon. I used to watch it.

I didn't watch it till 2011. That's for sure. But I remember watching it in about 2003 2004.

You sure it's only a Smallville was on before 2003 wasn't it? No, no, it started in 2001. Blimey. Yes, it went on for 10 years.

I used to watch it in 2001 or 2002. Anyway, 2002 2003 and maybe 2004 and I watch it in the afternoon Sunday afternoon. Maybe early evening.

And I'm pretty sure if I remember correctly, I used to shave my head whilst watching it. And it was just a regular thing. I'd shave my head shave all the hair off and I'll be watching Smallville at the same time.

And then I get some moisturizer and rub that into my scalp and it smelled lovely. Really did smell nice. And I felt quite pleased with myself.

Not only knowing that I felt clean, I felt them always tidy by also, I felt fairly confident that throughout the next week, I would not be bothered by gold diggers. That haircut really kept people away. There was no romance happening.

I still shave my head every now and then. It's more because I just can't really get to hairdressers anymore. I can but I don't live near anything.

I suppose you can get hairdressers to visit but I haven't been to a hairdressers other than last time I went. But you know, in this country, I've not been for years and years. I just basically shave my head when I get fed up with it and let it grow back.

I don't let it grow back. I mean, it grows back. It doesn't need my permission.

It just does. It grows back less every time. Eventually, I'll just have a little bit of a tough, toughy bit on the top, I reckon.

Like a really bad cut lawn. I reckon eventually my head will just like this is the front of my head will look like an armpit. A few like straggly hairs.

Gray, of course. Well, I'm not doing too bad. I mean, considering I haven't got huge amounts of gray hair on my head.

I do have some gray hair, but not not like gray, gray. But my beard is a lot on my beard. So if I shaved my beard, then I'm not saying I'd look younger, but I'd look less gray, which in turn might make me look younger.

Yeah, I don't know. I'm not sure how it all works. I'm not even bothered even about that.

About being gray, does it matter? Does it matter? I mean, I am gray. Yes, it's okay pretending not to be but but I am not completely gray. To be fair, my beard is white.

Parts of it are white, not even gray anymore. It's white. But, you know, I used to love saying I mean, I used to a couple of weeks ago, the last time I said it, but it was the ginger parts of my beard that went gray first.

But I don't know which is true. I do believe that. At the same time, I don't think I had this many gray, the amount of white hairs I've got in my beard.

I didn't have that many ginger hairs. I did have a lot, you know, proper wasn't full ginger, ginger beard. There's a lot of ginger hair in there for years.

Because you know, we've got the ginger gene. I've got the ginger gene in my family. It's the probably the Irish, the Irish part of family, I guess.

Okay, all right. Oh, bloody. So I'm just having a look at something.

So yeah, so that's, that's it really. It's kind of updated. It is a particularly boring update.

I need to do like a little review of something, maybe a magazine or read out some articles or you know, this something. Once I've done what I need to do with the podcast and the episodes and the website, then I can start to relax a little bit and just get on with what, just doing the stuff that I want to do. Making some more hypnosis recordings and being a bit more creative with what I'm doing.

And you know, it's just a very, this whole process of trying to, I mean, it started off trying to save my podcasts, trying to save the audience, trying to save what I've worked for since 2006. The idea of losing it all was a bit too much really. To be honest, I didn't like, I didn't like it one bit, nil.

And I did for a while, for a little while I thought that this is it. You know, I've taken all the records, well I lost one podcast which was actually deleted without my consent. And then I had deleted the music from all the others.

But the stats went down. You know, the plays went down drastically. Once I took the ones without music off, and I genuinely didn't know whether or not doing a SoundCloud, you know, starting another podcast and attaching it to the Apple podcast so that anyone that listens on the Apple podcast to Let Me Boil Your Sleep will still have access.

It's just it's being hosted on a different place. And it can also include the music recordings. And it's kind of worked out, actually.

It's worked out. So since, since I've been doing this, probably what two weeks now, two weeks or whatever, between all the different podcasts, maybe three weeks, two or three weeks, between all the different new podcasts, the five that I've got, two I'd started yesterday, and the other three that I started over the last couple of weeks, I've had over half a million plays of my recordings. So go figure, I'm not quite sure how that's worked out.

But at least I've managed to save a fair bit of my stuff. And I realized, you know, what trying to do what I'm doing now is trying to give everyone the opportunity to listen to the old stuff if you want to. Because there's always going to be new things, new recordings coming out from me.

And I was surprised at how many I've done this year, just just this year is quite a lot. Even though sometimes I feel like I'm not doing many at all. But it does, it does add up.

So with the Yeah, I mean, 1232345 lining says probably five over 5000 maybe 6000 recordings if you include the ones with music. It's a lot and it's a heck of a lot. That's why it's taken a while to, you know, not just upload, but also to make sure the titles are correct and organize them.

Which have gone a little bit lax the last couple of days. I was doing so well with the organization and then it just kind of gone a little bit. But I will I will get it all sorted.

And so you'll have the option you can listen at the moment mainly on Apple podcasts, or my website. Or you can go to SoundCloud, where the podcast is hosted to each individual podcast. And you can pretty much have, you know, click on the playlists and they can be, you know, choose if he's like, well, I'll listen to number 306 of the Let Me Bore You To Sleep, or number 148, Deep Sleep Whisper, or number 72, Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily, and you can get back to it.

Or I want to listen to this one with five hours music or with background music or 10 hours music. And provided I was able to save them, they'll all be available. So it's yeah, I'm tired, I need to eat I need to get some food.

It's 12 minutes past 8pm. And Big Brother's on those on at nine, I think nine o'clock or half eight nine. And it's the eviction night tonight.

So we're watching that live, although I hope it's live. And then I go to bed, I'll take a little fella out. And boxing is on early hours of the morning tomorrow.

So I probably if I wake up at two or three, I'll get up and watch that. It's also on early hours of the morning on Sunday morning as well. And there's also boxing on Saturday evening, Tyson Fury and his opponent, I can't pronounce the name, Nengu, Nyangu, Nyang, something like that.

And he's the man that he's, he's, he was the heavyweight UFC champion that he left UFC to make more money. And he's now making a lot of money by fighting Tyson Fury, the undefeated heavyweight champion of the world, the WBC champion. And he not my not Tyson Fury, but his opponent has, I think he's got the Guinness Book Record for the hardest punch in the world.

So it should be interesting. In technically, he's got to punch his chance. That's it.

Because Tyson Fury is too skillful. But you don't know in this heavyweight boxing, there's no way of knowing what's going to happen. But it's kind of weird because Nengu, his trainer for the last six weeks or 12 weeks, whatever it is, has been Mike Tyson, who is what Tyson Fury was named after.

So it's kind of a weird, weird dynamics there. Hence at the beginning, I think I mentioned John Fury, Tyson Fury's daddy, challenging Mike Tyson to a fight. And him saying yes, I say do it on Saturday night.

Let's just, let's just have it. Let's have it. Let's have it.

But I don't know. I mean, I always thought that, who knows? Who knows? I mean, Mike Tyson's, he's older, he's about 57 now, I think. And I think John, John Fury is about my age.

So I mean, it's not a huge difference. But being 53 and 58 could be, it could be a difference. I don't know.

I mean, there is a difference, but I don't know what difference it would make. And I don't know. I'd watch it.

I would. In fact, I probably watch that, be more interested in that fight than this one that's going to happen on Saturday. Oh, well.

It's, it's, it's, yeah, time consuming. But once it's done, it's done. And once the first top three ones I've been working on, once they're completed, the other podcasts are a lot smaller, you know, maybe some have got 28 recordings, some have got, you know, 200 recordings or whatever.

So they're a lot smaller than the ones that I've been working on. So take a lot less time. And it might take to the end of November before everything's kind of really running smoothly.

I don't know. But I will keep at it. I will keep going.
