Vinnie, Ginnie, Logie. How many dogs have I known? Misty. I've known more than one.

I've known more than just dogs that I've lived with, but a friend, Jason. I had a friend called Jason. I think there was three Jasons in my year at school.

Yeah, one was in the Sea Cadets with me. The other one was a friend that lived around the corner and he had a, what's those dogs that, the blind dogs, he had one of them. And the big old thing, he used to just lie on the floor, not all year round, but yeah, used to be around the corner.

It's weird, because when I think about it now, yeah, that's where my friend used to live. No, a different friend, but yeah, so he lived around the corner from where I lived and his name was Jason, but I don't know what the dog's name was. It's hot in here.

I haven't got the window open.

Normally I have the window open, but I haven't got it open today and I've got the door closed to the room because otherwise Vinnie will be barking because the chip van's outside and one of the neighbours, one of the neighbours who likes to get his chips from the chip van has a tendency of coming in and out of his flat multiple times waiting for the chip van and even though he's quiet, Vinnie hears him and barks constantly, so I've got the door closed so that hopefully he can't hear the silent tip tap of his feet because he's very quiet, but with his flappy ears he can hear anything and so there was that dog, not an albatross, I forget what kind of dog it was.

Then there was the dog that, the St Bernard that I lived with called Misty and she was huge.

St Bernard, they are huge, innit, massive. What other ones? There was another dog that I lived with in Stratford, there was a dog I lived with in Forest Gate, there was a dog I lived with in Green Street, Upton Park, so that's four dogs so far. What other dogs? Nothing really, I don't think I lived with any other dogs until Vinnie really, so that's five dogs all together that I've lived with.

There was a big old gap between, let's say 2001 and, blimey, what year was it? 2023 December, so 22 years, wow, 22 years. Anyway, I want, I forgot, I didn't forget, but I wanted, I temporarily forgot, but I did want to say a big thank you, a big, big, big thank you to the people that have sent me PayPal gifts today. So I did a, basically what happened, it's not very interesting, but hey, that's what this is about isn't it?

It's about not being interesting.

Before I tell you, I'm not going to give you surnames, but I will give you first names just to say thank you to each person, but you won't know who it is because it could be anyone. Not everyone is in the Facebook group and not everyone is even on Facebook. So I've got, how many people have I got on my Facebook page? 20 odd thousand.

How many people respond to my posts? Zero. Who's that? Oh wow, okay. Right, so I put a post, Sniffy and Flemming, lovely.

That's not what I posted. I posted a message 10 hours ago saying, this is on Facebook, message to my podcast listeners only. The reason I put that is because I didn't just put it on the Jason Newland's Boring Group, which if you listen to this, it's for my top fans.

It's for all the people that love me or like listening to my recordings and probably more. And I posted it on all my Facebook pages. I've got a few.

So message to my podcast listeners only, that way complete strangers that I don't even know why they're on my Facebook page. Because people add me every day and I don't know who they are. And so no one like sends me a negative message, calling me a beggar or which I've been called before.

I've been called a beggar, I've been called someone selling snake oil, a snake oil seller. Or snake oil peddler. Seriously, I mean, this was, to be fair, this was back in wow, 2009, 2008, 9. Yeah, it's just quite a while ago.

So you know, I have to kind of try to accommodate all all comers really. So I posted that. The reason I posted it is because I woke up.

Just once I start a podcast, I can't it's hard to stop. Because I lose the flow or lose the air by lose the continuity. Anyway, I woke up to these.

That was to SoundCloud. That's from PayPal. The number one 847 about the payment to SoundCloud.

And then I know one your bank declined electronic funds. So that's two different thing. Another one insufficient funds in your bank.

That was 902 935. And once this is from my podcast, domain name to jasonnewland.com. Although that website's down at the moment, because I couldn't afford to to pay for this month. So I just closed it in for now.

But the name jasonnewland.com, which I've had for about 20 years. And they said they couldn't, they couldn't take the money out of my account. There was none in there.

It's like, oh, so I thought, wow. I didn't mention that in the message I just put down the the podcasts was an issue, which was the main thing. That kind of a came up as well.

So I've had a few messages saying that the money is not enough, not enough money in not enough money in not enough money in. And that's when I put my message out. So 124567 So it's seven people help me out.

And I just want to say thank you to all seven people for, you know, your kindness. So I will read your name, read the name out, but I won't read your full names or anything like that. None of the saucy messages you sent me.

So that's 100 100,000 a month in it. But not every day is the same. I mean, one day I only got 1247.

Another day I got six and a half thousand. So, you know, but over the week, 25 and a half. That's a Deep Sleep Whisperer.

Today, just under 900. So that's that's a fairly slow one. But it's, you know, it's okay.

It's with that it's more case of, if I did more, I'd get more. If I did more recordings, I'd receive more more, you know, you know, I mean, I don't know where I'm going with this. Okay, so this is hypnosis for sleeping deeply with music.

Okay, so today, we're technically over the day of 3000 for the day. But over the week, the last seven days, six, just over 6000 downloads or plays. Again, it's one of those things.

When I make regular recordings, I get more plays. It's just as simple as that. If I release a new recording every day, then it just goes up.

It's I guess it's obvious, but it's just really why do you have to make so much noise Vinnie? I feel like I'm always moaning at the moment. I don't want to moan it in. Well, I do enjoy it.

No, I don't. I don't. I do.

Do I? Do I? I don't know. Maybe someone's added me to a mega mix. Okay.

So for relaxed sleep and pain relief hypnosis, I've got 10,910 plays for the week. Today, throughout the last 24 hours, I've got 3700. So, you know, it's all right.

Well, overall, during the last 12 months, okay, 927,826. And that's since October. So six months, it's not too bad, is it? So I come out there and we're going to do sign in to my Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast.

Okay, stop it. Stop it. We believe you've got podcasts.

It's a little bit annoying sometimes. So for the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast, the last week, I've had 14,834 plays last seven days. And yesterday, 3,665.

Today, 2,122. So it's a bit less than yesterday. It changes that comes and goes, you know, Monday, I had 3,318.

Tuesday, I had 1,897 plays. Sunday, I had 2,257. So what's that Thursday, Wednesday, Tuesday, Monday, Thursday, Wednesday, Tuesday, Monday, Sunday, Saturday, Friday.

So Friday, I only had 464 plays. But then I hadn't made a recording for a little while. So you know, it's all about making recordings.

And if I make them, it's a whole thing, isn't it? You build it, they will come. And that was my philosophy right back in the day. Back in the day.

I used to think I used to remember that movie. Okay, remember the clip from the movie because I never actually watched the movie. Something to do with baseball and ghosts.

And don't, you know, build it and they will come. And I thought, well, okay. Yeah, all that time ago, didn't know what I was doing still don't.

And sitting there in my little room. Actually, it wasn't that little probably wasn't any. Yeah, probably was it was fair size room, actually, it was nice room.

But sitting in there with my laptop, and the webcams, you know, balanced on the laptop, black and white filming myself doing a video and posting it on MySpace. I don't know if it was a relaxation one to start with, maybe a pain relief one and a sleep one. And just not knowing what I was doing.

I kind of knew why I was doing it, kind of, kind of, kind of, I just was like, Oh, we'll see. And because I did zero research, I didn't know anyone else was doing this. I didn't see anyone else doing it on YouTube on on on YouTube on MySpace.

And then my friend who I was living with one of the people that was living there told me about YouTube. Never heard of it before. And because back in them days, surfing the internet, even with so called broadband was not fast, kept coming out.

And there was what 123455 people in the house or using it at the time, at times, and so it was, you know, wasn't the quickest. So I was focused more on probably what I was doing than searching to see if anyone else was doing it. And the same happened with YouTube.

I genuinely did not know that other people were doing hypnosis videos on YouTube. I just posted the videos that I'd already posted on MySpace onto YouTube. And then on to Facebook, when Facebook took over from MySpace.

I didn't know that other people were doing YouTube videos. And I wasn't the first I was one of the first. I was one of the original YouTube hypnotists.

Hard to believe because none of my stuff's really on there. But I was ask anyone. It's true.

Some people say I don't know if I've got an audience on YouTube, but I don't know if I think I lost them really along the way. I think when I when I stopped the YouTube channel, a few years back, I think those that were loyal. Law is not really right word, but I'm gonna say loyal.

They were. They were. Yeah, those that were loyal were pretty loyal, you know, considering the quality of my videos was awful.

The quality of the content, the content wasn't so bad, but the the presentation, the audio, the video, it was really quite bad. And, but, you know, even the podcasts, sound quality wasn't good. I had an audience that really stuck with me, you know, through thick and thin as it were.

And, you know, there was this one lady, Angela, who used to take me, she even took me on a holiday with a podcast. See, she took me on a pod. What do they call it the apple? I don't know if it was an apple one, but it was pod, pod player or whatever they call them.

I think they're not around anymore. And she, she took me on holiday with her on a cruise. She was sending me pictures.

And it was just a deck chair with with the pod player on the deck chair on a cruise different countries. It was like, wow. And, yeah, it makes you want to kind of get back onto YouTube and make proper videos again.

Because at the moment, all I seem to do is when I do do them, it's all podcast recordings, but then converted into a video. Instead of me talking into the camera, which is what I used to really why I should be doing. If I'm going to do YouTube, and I should just you, I should do YouTube.

There's logic in that sentence. But what I think what I mean is that I should, I should be able to get over myself and get over of how I overcome how I look, because I don't like how I look on camera. And this is something I've talked about before.

And I'll probably talk about it again. And I know it really shouldn't bother me because technically, I'm not doing too bad for my age. If you look at me, you wouldn't you wouldn't think that I was 80.

And I'm not but 53. I think I'm doing all right for 53. Kind of, you know, I'm not I'm not bad.

I mean, there's nothing wrong with being 53. But I'm not 23 anymore. I'm not 33.

And when I was 33, I thought I was old. I thought I was old. When I was 33.

I was it I was, I was I was old. No, but I mean, it's not old 33 is not old. He's making as much noise as he can.

So I don't know. Okay, that got a little bit of energy then for doing YouTube. Maybe I should just do it.

Maybe I should just make the videos, not focus too much on editing or presenting. Just film myself making the podcast or making the hypnosis recordings, whatever it is I'm doing, edit it, you know, as best as possible, but just not worry too much about the quality of the video. In a sense of it should be bright enough.

I'm going to look pink, whatever I could change the shades and do editing professional so that I look like normal. But I got I got a pink face. This is this I got pink skin.

That's what can I do. That's the way it is. So I got a gray beard, I could what I could shave the beard off.

Or I could die my beard that there is we can do that now. And I don't know. I don't know.

I don't know. What do you think? Is it seeing it seems like I'm whistling again. Seems that for some reason, I seem to put it in my head that it's either or.

Either I make podcasts or I make YouTube videos. Well, there's no reason I can't do both. And there's no necessary reason why I have to do both at the same time.

I could just make videos separate from the podcasts. Just do a different maybe do a shorter, shorter videos, shorter recordings compared to the longer form podcasts. Yeah, maybe.

And I don't have to. There's no reason why I need to produce a video every day. A video every day.

I don't know. Maybe that's what I should do. Maybe, maybe I'd enjoy it more.

Because I do enjoy making podcasts. I do feel that I'm doing all right. You know, I do if things are going quite well.

And it's growing the podcast is growing. Because there was a time there was a time when I had my podcast that let me boys asleep on Spreaker. I wasn't getting as many plays as I do now.

Downloads or plays, whatever you want to call it, as I do now. And that might just be because it's now. It's blimey, it's nearly a year, isn't it? I think April was April was August last year when I had to when they deleted my podcast.

So look, I think it was maybe it was maybe if I look at insights, okay, if I look at the lifetime all time. Okay, last 12 months. Because I think this is right, October, so probably September, then.

So I started this podcast in October. I wouldn't have gone anytime without a podcast. So I would have kind of straight away.

Come back. And so yes, so in October, I had 261,570 plays, which is quite a lot, isn't it? That's more than I would have ever had in one month on this podcast. November had 60,000 and a half plays, or 60,500.

60,530 plays, that's what I'm trying to say. December 27,500. January 25,000.

February 50,500. And March so far 48,500. There's still a week, well, still 10 days to go for this month.

Yeah, it's 21st of 31st. So it's grown. Yeah, that's pretty good.

I don't know why. Maybe it's because I started making recordings. After I did go a while didn't know about really making any.

I mean, stuff has happened. But hey, stuff always happens, doesn't it? But I did lose my I don't want to say mojo, because I'm not sure if I've ever really had a mojo. But I would say this year, because I've got everything in playlists on here.

Well, most of them, I think I need to update it a little bit. But if you're looking if you look at the 951 to 1000 951 to 1000. That was okay.

So I started the year in D D D D D D D D D. Whoa, that's weird. January was that last year? That wasn't even this year. I didn't do many let me boy to sleeps last year, did I? That's ridiculous.

It hasn't got a date on it. Blimey. That was five months ago.

That would have been October. So this so I that that's kind of surprised me a little bit. It surprised me a lot.

That was the number of the thing. And then in 21st of November was the second one. And I didn't do my first recording this year.

But it's just unsurprised. Because I did still do recordings at the end of last year, even after the end of November. Not many, to be fair, but it's after, you know, the thing that those of you that know, I did one to do one called Thank you.

And that's a third of December. The boys are arguing. That was a fourth of December.

15th of December, December working on website. 1060 the muzzle 8th of December. Soon be Xmas 12th of December.

I mean, my aim is to do one a day. And if I want to try and stick to that, but it's weird, isn't it? I don't know. Just just seems weird to me.

So it's three days. I think that shows the 50 the 50s is a good number. 5253 54 is even better than 53.

So yeah, that's why it's the next year of even better for me. So top locations of people listening. According to this, this is according to the stats, whereas I don't know.

I don't know how precise it is. And this is where I get confused. Not confused in a bad way.

I mean, in the old days. And bearing in mind, I've been doing this over 18 years. In the old days, podcasting as well as YouTube, the number one country that watched or listened to me was USA, United States of America.

And I was always happy to reach another country. I was happy to, for anyone to listen or watch my videos, you know, or listen to my podcasts. It's like, wow, why would anyone do that? But I did.

And I was like, great. UK was always kind of, it wasn't always even second, sometimes Australia or Canada would be above it. And sometimes even New Zealand.

But then you know, then it got to a point where United Kingdom was pretty much always just below America, as far as the amount of people that were listening to my podcasts. Well, for the Let Me Bore You To Sleep. I've got more people from the United Kingdom listening than from the United States.

So that's the more plays rather. So all time since October 473,330 plays that since last October. So what's that? November, December, January, February, March.

So it's five, five months, October, November, December, October, November, December, January, February, March. It's nearly six months really. But yeah, five and a half months or whatever.

So I don't know what day in October it was I started uploading. I had one download. So these were all plays one download.

And I class downloads and plays as the same just means that people have played them, streamed them or whatever. There was a time when all down, I think it was because there was a time when people didn't stream because the internet was no good, wasn't good enough for streaming. So people had to download the podcast episode and then listen to it, listen to it on their laptop or on their podcast, pod player or whatever.

And see, yeah, I for the let me sleep podcast. United Kingdom 182,000 United States of America 164,000. There's not a lot in it.

20,000 less 18,000. Oh, you know how to do maths when you're talking about your stats, don't you? All right, okay, I'll be rude. Canada 48.1,000. Australia 33.6,000. Germany 8519 8518 of those are Sebastian, I imagine.

It's spelling Turkey t u r k i y e. Is that now the because it used it didn't used to be spelled like that. Not I mean, here. I mean, we didn't used to spell it that way.

And I know Canada's part Canada's French speaking. And in Germany's a lot of countries can speak speak English, a lot a lot of people can speak English. I struggle with English a little bit but I get by.

I thought the same might be for Russia but perhaps it's not because I do have listeners from the Russian Federation. So welcome all the people from Russia and wherever you are, you are welcome in my little world. Regardless of where you live or what you do for a living, how tall you are, doesn't matter.

Why would height matter? You know but generally I'm not... nothing really matters if you... I'm not saying nothing matters in the world but I'm just saying everybody is welcome in my little tiny little world. Cities. City, city, city.
