right yesterday I talked about the first book I ever had and I re-bought it a while back so it just shows I need to be a little bit more prepared a little bit more prepared for these recordings but clearly I'm not where on earth no that's not it oh well so today Vinnie's been a little bit barky because my friend's flat downstairs is now being renovated or I don't know there was a work person in there with tools I don't know if it was an electrician or getting the place ready

to re-let to another tenant I guess but poor Vinnie he hears the door because he kept the bloke kept letting the door slam shut and every time he did that Vinnie he knows which doors are which I even know by the sound which doors are slamming so all got their own little sound so the person downstairs from me she doesn't let a door slam but previous tenants have and it shakes this flat because it's directly under us and it really shakes the building with my my little bit of the building

she doesn't let it slam the person opposite her lets her door slam but she puts it on the latch so she puts the lock on and then lets it slam so it slams it's got a different sound it doesn't actually close when it slams it just slams shut but not closed the person opposite me he doesn't let his door slam he's very quiet even though Vinnie notices every time he opens the door he just gets excited he's excited he loves everybody that's the thing it's a complete opposite to me he

loves everybody and except me and my friend's flat where he used to live I know that sound because I heard it for nearly nine years and Vinnie knows that sound and he always used to get excited when he heard the door slam he got excited because either his uncle was coming up to see him or Logie was coming up to see him well usually both to be fair I mean Logie didn't come up on his own although it had to be fair sometimes he did but he'd get excited because that

meant he was gonna play or if Logie was up here he could play with him or if my friend came up he'd have a good play with him as well because he loved him absolutely loved him I mean he had him first really he knew him first he had him for a few hours before me but he'd known him for a few months I'd never met Vinnie before but my friend was friends with his with the lady that was looking after him so he knew him before me and still looking

at the books no I can't find nothing so the doors been slamming and Vinnie is getting really a little bit frustrated because he thinks I don't know if he's thinking this I'm putting thoughts into his mind but I imagine he thinks that because he hasn't really heard the door slam much for since the end of November for obvious reasons for because there's gonna be no one living there and I feel a little bit sad for him because he thinks that he's gonna see Logie or see his uncle and he's not

gonna see either of them just I don't know I just feels a little bit sad I don't know why so but that barking he does so high-pitched it's like proper like oh man my ears my ears pop my ears they don't pop but they they get like oh they get really mmm you know so did I say only listen when you can safely close your eyes I should have done yes oh here's a bit of AI information because I know you you love hearing about my interests and text text to

video you do text to image as example you can put in they call it prompts and you basically ask the AI app whichever one you use whether it's chat GT GPT or Claude or Bing or whatever AI just whatever one you want you ask them to create you an image and you just put in information and it creates you an image based on the information well now a new AI tool has been created it's not out officially to the public yet but it's a text to video and they've done it

before that you know it's been something that's been in the works for a few years and they did it they were able to do like three seconds of video and it wasn't great then it got a little bit better and it got a little bit better but it still wasn't you know well now they seem to have cracked it and something that people thought wouldn't wouldn't wouldn't be around for maybe 10 years has come around really quickly to the point where the things that people have been saying well that might

be it might be around you know like robots or AI that is can really be autonomous kind of will be maybe 2050 they now say maybe 2026 two years time some of the experts and I watch and listen to quite a few of the experts in the field and then there's people doing commentary on the experts so you know it's interesting but I saw a clip of this video and it was just a prompt someone just put in maker I think it was all those dinosaur elephants you know the ones

that have they're like basic elephants but dinosaur elephants forget the names but they were a couple of those in the snow and it looked like a movie really what are you doing it's found a packet okay just eat the wrapper that's fine the movie I mean it's a short clip but it was phenomenal I mean it was movie style quality do you have to do that now really what is that she is found a biscuit wrapper now there won't be any biscuits in there because I never ever I always finish

my biscuits so these are chocolate biscuits but there's nothing in it well that they're not chocolate biscuits they're cookies and not only do I finish them I make sure there's no crumbs in them either so I don't know what he's trying to do he's just enjoying ripping it up earlier on I was a little bit concerned about him because he was off his food Vinnie was he just wouldn't eat his food he was laying on the bed wouldn't even eat a treat so I gave him a cuddle and like what's

going on with you what's happening and he was like that most of the day till about two o'clock or something took him for a walk he couldn't get enough treats when we were out he ran around with a couple of dogs full of energy came back I gave him his dinner and he woofed it down so who knows I don't know he just maybe it's just his mood he won't eat food that's been out for longer has to be fresh out of the packet usually sometimes it will come back an

hour later and eat it but generally if it's been it's been in a bowl for too long he won't I don't mean days or weeks this is not mold on it or anything it's just it might have been out there for what's too long for him an hour or so maybe two hours even I don't know but I'll put it on the floor for him he does prefer in a bowl so sometimes I'll put it in a bowl and he just turns his nose up at it and I'll always remember

what I've seen him eat outside off the ground and he's fussy about not eating the specially prepared dog food that I purchased for him out of money that I do not have and he won't eat it and he's wasting it is it's really I wish we could get those you know those caps that they can put on you and do psychological things and they can stimulate parts of your brain and they can read parts of your brain as well and it's basically a cap they put it on you it's got

lots of sensors and and then they can see what brainwaves are being stimulated and stuff like that give you kind of a map of the brain kind of I guess I'm not sure how good they are anyway I'd like something like that just so I can know just the very basics what he wants so put that on him and eventually you know technology will get better and it'll be a case which is probably a little chip in his collar or something you know and then when he's when he's hungry and

just have a little message feed me or if he wants to go for a W-A-L-K it will say take me for a which I'm not gonna say out loud because he's listening and there was a dog outside barking which means he'll probably kick off any minute now and I know I'm pretty sure that his friend Archie just went past his best friend Archie is is a little dog tiny little thing it's kind of the same pretty much the same size as Vinnie and they have a real tight relationship really strong

it's weird but they adore each other and if they can they'll run around but otherwise they're happy just to dance with each other on the lead and sniff each other and kiss each other and that there's a real there's a love there that he doesn't have for any he like he loves everyone but there's a particular yeah he's got he's got particular he's got feelings for that dog I'm 100% sure he loves Archie but we don't see him every day because he goes out different times and I think he goes

out probably more regular times I take Vinnie out when he wants to go out I don't take him out at my times the only time I take him out at my times when I want him to is usually if I'm gonna go to bed and I don't want to have to get up while I'm asleep so I take him so you can go to the toilet sometimes when I get up to be fair he usually wakes me up wakes up about 4 in the morning usually and I take him out

to the toilet then as well other than that well yeah that's him waking me up isn't it yeah blimey so the only time I really take him out I guess if I need to go somewhere if I need to go to the petrol station or to the pharmacy or to the pet shop he calls it a sweet shop the candy shop and he I mean sometimes I go in there just for him to get him treats other times I go in there because I gotta get him food you know so

went in there yesterday and got him some I was looking for we've got this game me and him play so when we're out and he now expects it he loves doing it so I chuck treats now I try and make it like food treats it's not they're not treats as in human treats always dog treats and they're hopefully good for him and I chucked them and he runs to get it where it's in the grass or on the pavement or wherever and he loves doing it and now he expects it

and he enjoys it so we do that so I needed to get him some because I'd run out of anything to chuck for him the ideal thing is food you know little bits of food because then he's eating but I didn't have enough to buy him a bag of food but the treats were like 1 pound 50 or something 160 and they're really tiny little things so this quite works quite well they're like circular I don't know they're little I mean if if Logie had eaten the whole packet without even

noticing that's how little they are anyway today I chucked it and it went through the fence through a metal fence that he can get his head through that's all he can get through so but it went too far over the other side so he couldn't get to it normally he just gives up and he carries on because he knows I've got more in my pocket and I wasn't watching him I was just looking around as I was waiting for him and I said come on I turn around he was trying

to squeeze his body into the railings he was literally trying to force his body through a gap that was not big enough any his neck can get through with a little bit of a gap either side his body is way bigger than his neck and at one point I think his back legs were off the ground because he pushed himself through so far and he was stuck oh that was funny I have to go over and see if he's okay soon he's been there for a few hours he's here with

me and he of course said come on and he he backed out and he was okay I really thought he was proper stuck for a minute I just for a tiny little treat he wasn't gonna quit he was gonna keep going until he got it if that meant defying physics then that's what he was gonna do what else happened today well that's that's it really with the downstairs I think there was some people in yesterday as well and someone in today doing electrics or something so I'm guessing there'll be someone

in doing the checking the water someone checking the meter someone checking the radiators someone probably just you know checking different bits and bobs I guess did I mention see I don't know what I talk about in the recordings because I don't take any notice when I talk I don't really I don't acknowledge the words I'm saying I just just talk and that's quite evident I think but the other day the other night I'm not sure if I mentioned it my neighbor directly below me called me up I missed a call

so I called her back I'll tell you what time it was because on my phone it was it was what day was it okay or Sunday wasn't Friday was Sunday was it Sunday Sunday Friday missed Sunday okay I can tell because I've got oh Sunday half-past eight around the time and she sent because I missed a call and she sent me a text I didn't read the text before I called her but the text was hi just wondered shall I do a voice okay just wondered have you spilled something in

I'll call the council tomorrow and I said well there's nothing in the in the the kitchen well there's a fridge and a freezer and an oven and stuff washing machine but there's nothing she said yeah I know we're talking about leaks I said yeah I know I'm saying there's no there's no leaks there's no there's no water on my floor trust me if you see the floor you see there's not been any water on my floor for a long time because it's so filthy she said try and stick to the

conversation I said okay and she said I'll call the council tomorrow don't worry I said okay and then I went to the bathroom and I was looking on the floor thinking well if it's leaked somehow managed to get into the concrete that's not good so I called it was affecting someone else as well so I've called the the emergency out of hours team and told them about a potential flood which it kind of it's not a big flood but it was definitely if she's got two puddles on her floor and

a big streak of like a water streak mark stain on a ceiling then that's not good sign is it and I don't want to be responsible for that it turns out I might not be but they don't mean know what what happened I'm not sure I mean I really don't know I really don't know anyway got through to start with and then it he said oh you got through to the wrong number I said no I haven't they said did you probably did you press the right number when he went

to the answer machine I said yes we got through to the wrong number I saw they must have put me through to the wrong number we must have pressed the wrong number when you had the answer machine because it gives you a choice of different numbers to press did you press the right one I said yes she said I don't think you did I did I pressed the right it said I told her what he said she said no it's not the right one I'll put you through though if you

like I said okay thanks at this point I was very angry I was furious I was yeah I was I was a bit a little bit tetchy a little bit anyway I got through to the right person the next time and I said yeah I didn't really know what to say how to how to open the conversation I mean hello is normally the the way I normally start a conversation but it's like it wasn't it wasn't you know a friendly call was it wasn't a chit-chat it was a little bit

more serious than that but not super serious and so it was a case of well yeah here's the situation downstairs as flooded water's gone through the ceiling it's not flooded bad but it's the water's gone through puddles on the floor the water stain ceiling on the ceiling water stain ceiling on the ceiling that made sense to me when I said it in my mind and as I said it out loud I thought oh it doesn't quite seem correct anyway there was a water stain ceiling on the water stain and because

my my bath okay I missed this bit out my bathroom did flood but it was weeks ago and I didn't attribute it to the tap leaking because it flooded like in within an hour or I don't know however long of me going to the toilet and it took me quite a while to mop it all up that wasn't a little tap drip drip drip like that because that'd take hours and hours and hours to create that kind of flood this was like someone I just poured I can tell you how

many I think it was six bucket loads of water not buckets but like mop buckets not full but pretty high you know there was a lot of water dirty and but then any water that touches any of the any of the floors in this flat it's gonna be dirty instantly because that's where I keep my underpants now and so I just I didn't connect that but I cleared that up very quickly dried it off and that was well probably over a month maybe five six weeks ago it's quite a while

ago I did talk about it on my on my podcast but I can't remember when it was what I thought it was at the time is how to delicately put this I think I did a particularly large log that's what I'm saying and I just I just assumed that the toilet got temporarily blocked overflowed which is grim and flooded the bathroom and eventually it's it's swum away I don't know how to really put that it's swum away Wow it did have a tail and it's that's what I thought happened which

is why I didn't call a council or get any kind of emergency thing because you know I figured well I'll clear the bath I cleared the I cleared the floor my bum will heal you know everything was fine it's okay it's an extra large poo that that's what it was now I'm not sure if that's what it was I mean it was pretty big but I'm talking about the floor getting flooded and I did hear splashing but that I just assumed that was the poo just trying to escape the toilet

I mean I don't know it had a tail and I saw however many weeks it's been since that adventure and it took a long time to honestly it took ages to to clean it all up I to show you how long it's been since I cleaned it up the floors got dirty again I don't know if that's really a good sign or proves my point other than I'm just filthy maybe me so anyway we called the council I speak into the man on the phone it's a man the first person

was a lady I think but I didn't ask you know don't like to assume the second person was it doesn't matter as a human they were both humans and so the first human put me through the wrong place ok I do the voice wrong place you done the wrong number you should have dialed the right number and I said I did you didn't otherwise you'd got through to the right place and not the wrong place because you clearly pressed the wrong number and I hurt my throat doing that one so

yeah so I got through to the correct place eventually and I said I really don't know if this is an emergency or not but for me it's not upstairs it's not you know it's like I'm not that bothered it can someone can come around tomorrow or whenever because I've got the tap turned off however downstairs the ceiling yeah it doesn't feel very good I want you know I've looked in my kitchen I can't see anything leaking just don't know what's going on and he said what in general or about this

said yeah cutting your toenails is a pain isn't it I said it is now I mean it wasn't so much back then this is when I was like 16 15 16 17 16 whatever I mean now I have to actually hold my breath to cut my toenails but back then I could do it I was a little bit well a lot more flexible than I that I am now he said well sorry I can't really assume because I don't know what you look like I said it's all right I'll send

actually in his van outside so I went and got him because I was oh here's the bit I forgot to mention realizing that I was gonna have someone visiting at my humble abode I became very very quickly aware of how messy this place is I'm making some weird noises I'm talking really messy particularly well the living room is messy but I blame that on Vinnie even though it's not all his fault but a lot of it is just things that he's ripped up and you know on the floor the bathroom

he doesn't really go in there so I can't blame him for that or I'd like I'd like to but I can't really and he's not to blame for the kitchen either so thinking that the person coming around is most definitely going to be going into the bathroom because that's where the tap is leaking but also very very probably he's going to be wanting to go into the kitchen because that's above where the leak is downstairs so I'll try to tidy the kitchen up a little bit it's not that messy it

just needs a clean and I look at the bathroom and I think man this is just wrong now the floors weren't too bad to be honest that was kind of it's a little bit need a little bit of a mop color bits picked up that was it and a couple of fish and the sink a little bit of a little bit of a scrub but nothing too bad it's sink weren't too bad really the bath I'm not even going to tell you about a bath but well I will tell you

but I cleaned the bath anyway I cleaned the bath I cleaned the bath I got rid of any clothes that were in the bath because I do have a habit of chucking clothes in there sometimes when I'm getting changed or whatever and when Wonder Woman spins around where do her clothes go when Superman runs into a telephone booth remember when they used to have telephone boxes and booths in the old days and you'd see him open up his shirt because he's in a suit and a tie he does that and

you see his little well his big Superman sign on his chest and then he and he comes out and he flies away where does his clothes go I've got a theory two theories either three theories either they get undressed so quickly that it basically reverse their clothing so it's underneath the clothing they've got but that wouldn't make sense because you'd see it now the only other things is they put it into one of their orifices so which I'll only focus on one do they eat their clothes do they walk around

messages and you know you need to eat it and make it taste nice make it crispy maybe make it savory it depends on what time the day is obviously in the morning early maybe have it as egg McMuffin flavor I don't know and stop moaning Vinnie seriously mate you just being silly now just hassling me because I'm talking I'm not looking at you when I'm talking and you don't like it and you haven't liked it since we've done it have you what's it March January February March there's basically one year

and four months me and him had been together and he still doesn't like me making these podcasts still has to hassle me stop it stop it stop it and I had to clean the bathroom I cleaned the bath clean the sink clean the toilet mop the floor and I felt a bit ill to be honest I was I was heating up I was so hot had all the windows open and I tried to sort of give the leave me alone mate please look he has been out it's not like he

hasn't he's out a couple of hours ago if you need a toilet just go on the carpet it's not gonna make any difference so let me make the flat smell better we really got go okay I looks like I have to go well yesterday was a particularly long recording and this is a little bit shorter anyway the bloke came in the end he looked at the tap and he fixed it but he tightened it up so it wouldn't drip so much and said that someone else is going to come around

in the morning which they did came around Monday morning and they went down he went down to downstairs had a look at that and I'm not sure what happened down there and then the bloke a different bloke came around on Monday replaced all of that the valves and everything and he fixed the toilet as well apparently the toilet was broken or it wasn't like working properly it wasn't filling up or whatever so he replaced the stuff inside the toilet and he checked behind the washing machine well I pulled the washing

machine out there's no leaks there's no water or anything on the floor and and that was it so I got to give it I got got rid of a couple of bags of rubbish so I had a big old tidy up because I was kind of forced to really and clean the bathroom so the bathroom looks a lot cleaner now put that off for a while and the kitchen is not that messy to be honest with you it just needs I've got a habit of spilling ready brick on the counter

and ready brick if you ever seen it it's a bit like porridge it kind of turns it's almost glue you could use ready brick or porridge as cement in between bricks and build a wall and it would be probably stronger and it's proper tough stuff and part of the reason why I don't it get it builds up a little bit because I have to get one of those industrial diggers to get it off because it's so thick and strong and hard it's so hard and it's hard to get through I

have to use like a metal object to get through it yeah he's still staring at me I've never known anyone he's just staring at me he's under the table he's just there and he can do it for hours I've known him to you know sometimes I'll be in bed and he'll be like waking me up I look at him he's staring at me I just saw I fall asleep instantly cuz I'm asleep then I wake up again he's still staring he just hasn't moved at all he's just staring all right

okay I'm gonna end this recording a little bit early it's still an hour it's just I didn't really get to tell you the proper story well I did I suppose I called up to get the tap fixed someone came around and fixed the tap that is a short version I guess I mean if you if you if you like precision then there you are mm-hmm I went on this app today tested it out it's called Veed so it's got an AI magic thing where you can just upload an audio or

video and it tidies it up gets rid of unneeded gaps and pauses and stuff and stuff and things you don't need in it it turned a 25 minute audio into an eight and a half minute audio it's like what but literally it's no gaps it's just one sentence leading to the next sentence and I'm thinking shall I make some like that stick it on Instagram maybe stick it on Spotify make it available to some people that would prefer that prefer quick recordings but that to me goes against what I do

is that's not what I do there's a reason why these are well there's a reason why it's pauses there's a reason why it's slow and is and the more the more the world is you know changing especially with the Internet and social media over the years I think the more this is needed some of this more long-form slower chat and conversations and talking that is a slower pace and not everybody's gonna like it obviously but I think it's quite valuable because once AI pretty much takes over it's gonna be a

lot of podcasts are gonna be created with AI like even the speakers and then it'll be created created and then they'll be edited to the point where there won't be any gaps because everything will be automatic and it makes it easier for people to do it because a lot of videos are like that and you listen you watch them and it's like literally no gaps between the sentences and or between the words even sometimes it's just just continuous really a fast pace and some of it is clearly speeded up as

well so you can do that with this feed and those videos are popular but I can't do that I don't want to do that it's just not me it's not how I there's a reason for this there's a reason for it to some would argue drag on some would even say I don't really understand it myself but some would say bonjour j'ai la honneur manner but they said I don't understand what they're talking about and some would say that I get off the subject a little bit sometimes that perhaps I

get distracted very easily and go off on a tangent tangent it's like tangerine isn't it tangent it sounds like a fruit or a dance should we do the tangent should go tangent dancing tangent dancing I could be dancing Annie in a tangerine at the same time never fancy dancing I like dancing when I was a kid when I went to discos I danced like Shaking Stevens and I had this signature move and I would drop down to my knees so dance like Shaking Stevens which is you could say like Elvis

Presley during Jailhouse Rock or Blue Suede Shoes as an example when he did live TV and they called him Elvis the pelvis so shaking his knees and all that stuff on his tiptoes that kind of stuff anyway I used to and what I think Elvis used to go down a little bit on his knees not on his knees but he'd go down and get up but he wouldn't like drop to his knees necessarily but he would drop a little bit Shaking Stevens would as well I dropped right to my knees

and there was no control over it I literally smashed my knees on the floor and cried for about an hour I didn't stop dancing now I remember hearing someone saying look he's enjoying himself so much he's crying no I'm in pain my knees are really hurting and hard to do on the beach especially a pebble beach mind you sand beach especially if the sands wet you get stuck you go down your knees suddenly like oh and the tides coming in I remember it happened once when I was a kid I

decided that someone had a radio like a portable radio and play in the green door you know don't know what you're doing behind the green door shaking Stevens song and so I got up started dancing right on the shoreline what is I wasn't it's kind of paddling a little bit there was a little bit of water on my feet but I went a little bit up and my family were watching and dancing and and then I went down on my knees and I did get stuck and because it the sand

was so wet but at the same time the water is going out and in coming in again and the tide was coming in and I remember it was like coming quite quick and I was shouting I was shouting at my dad like come on can you help me and he stuck his head out of the car said what what he couldn't hear me it's like just drove off it's just like come on it's bad I'm still there I'm still literally stuck in the sand now it's not good that was just

silly wasn't it there wasn't that was inappropriate there was no need no whatsoever need for there so I upload this a little what is the time yeah I probably upload this tomorrow morning so what I do is I record them in the evening afternoon evening I'm trying to do one every day but I don't know if that's gonna happen I'm trying I really am ever so trying really really really really really and then I will yeah be available tomorrow I'm hungry now I am I'm hungry but don't know what to
