Oh, okay. So just going online there, having a little look at stuff. I just went into the bathroom to do some bathroom chores.
And I came back and I saw Vinnie sitting on my my side of the sofa. It looked like he was it was looking at something on the table next to the sofa. And I thought always looking at my food, or they can move it.
And I had a pizza, I'd eaten half of it, and I've cut it into about eight pieces. There was four pieces left. One of those.
One of those pieces was almost off the plate. Now it wasn't almost off the plate when I left it. Because I don't really like my food touching stuff, you know, other than the plate and then my mouth.
So he clearly been trying to eat my pizza. But because I hadn't really cut it properly, it was still joined together with the rest of it. So I came in just in time because he was probably going to just pull the whole lot off.
Because that's going to be that little snack later on for me in a few hours time. It was my dinner, but you know, I don't eat much per sitting, as it were. And I don't know why I'm surprised, but he doesn't normally do it.
He has done it, but he doesn't normally do it. And I'm starting to think, you know, it's kind of funny in a situation like this. But what if I'm hungry? And what if I've just cooked myself some dinner, and someone knocks at the door, so I go put my plate of food on the table, or sandwich or whatever it is, and I go to the door.
I'm distracted, I'm not thinking about. Is there any point finishing this sentence? We know where it's going, don't we? The storyline. So I come back and see him.
I say, have you eaten my chocolate mousse? And there'll be chocolate all over his face, dripping off his nose, and he'll be saying, that wasn't me. I touched it. So it's not that I eat chocolate mousse for my dinner, just as an example.
I couldn't think of a food, to be honest. So that probably wouldn't sit well with me. So I'm gonna have to really rethink things.
He's been getting on my nerves a little bit today. It's just one of those days, where he's just been a little bit... I think we've been winding each other up a little bit. And I think that's all part of spending too much time together.
And he gets bored quite easily, old Vinnie. Right now, I gave him a little bone to chew on, so hopefully he'll be occupied for the next hour, I hope. But you know, just literally about 10 minutes ago, he went on a barking spree.
He just started barking for no reason. Well, there was another dog barking in the distance, but he really went at it, like really barking proper. So I took him outside in the garden.
He calmed down. I sat down in the chair, listening to the birdies in the trees, and he started barking again. And where I live, the garden, it's a shared communal garden.
It's quite echoey. And although it's not late at night, it's only, you know, six o'clock in the afternoon or early evening, I still don't really want him disturbing people when they're trying to have their evening meal, or watching their television, or whatever else, I don't know what people do when they're at home. So I brought him back upstairs again.
That was quite a boring story, wasn't it? Yeah, that was, that was, that was very boring. I'm not usually this boring. So yeah, where have where have I been? If anyone's a bit annoyed with me, because I've not been producing as many recordings as I normally do, then tough.
Now, the reason the reason they might not, I'm not sure if there is a reason to be no, actually, it wasn't that it's only the 17th of March. It's the 19th now. So it's only two days ago.
So it's a not long time since I made a recording. But before that, it was a week. It was the 11th of March.
And I'm not sure what the reason is, I have been working on my YouTube channel. So that's been taken up a fair bit of my time, and had some problems with that. Regarding some of the things that you know, that I was using the technology, the apps and stuff that I was using, stopped working.
So I've had to kind of look at it from a different direction. I'm in the process of rendering or processing in a process of processing a 10 hour video of my last podcast that I did two days ago, my last let me boy to sleep as a video. And it's really putting the laptop through it's, you know, it's giving it a good workout.
If you can hear that in the background. But yeah, it has been quite I'm kind of experimenting with some stuff. So what's up with the YouTube channel? At the moment, I've got videos all the way up to the 10th of May, scheduled to be released.
And it's the 19th of March. So that's pretty good. I'm pretty pleased with that.
Pretty, pretty pleased. Now, it's going fairly well. The videos, I'm getting more and more views every day, not every day, but the, you know, over time.
So that's good. I mean, I've literally I've got well, how many videos have I got now? I've got over 300 videos on my channel, not not released, but like all together. According to this, it's really hard to figure it out because doesn't sort of give me any.
Come on. The internet is going slow again. 307 videos.
Yeah, apparently, according to this, I got 307 videos. So that's including all the ones up to the 10th of May. But I've had more YouTube videos watched more views in the last 28 days.
But 5200 views, which is 3.5 thousand more than usual. And 464.3 watch hours, which is twice as much as normal. And I've had 29 new subscribers.
And the weird thing about the subscribers is, what is it 19th today? Yeah, the last two days, I've had nine new subscribers. And that's not a lot. You know, but it's still jumping up.
So I'm nearly at the 900 subscribers. I want to get to at least 1000 soon. So I'm hoping by the end of what is it now March, by the end of April, I'd like to have 1000 subscribers.
Because that's only 101. And so that'd be nice by the end of April. And, you know, I'm getting the last 48 hours, I've had 790 views.
But it's interesting. Well, it's not interesting. But the most views I get YouTube are between about one and four in the morning, my time, UK time.
So and another thing that again, is not really particularly interesting, but it is to me, but maybe not anyone else is my most popular video has been knocked right off the charts for the for the last month. So the was it try not to know it's not off the charts, but it's way down. Try and stay stay awake hypnosis challenge.
So I've only had 36 views of that is 0.7% of all my views. Normally, it's a lot more. So because on that one, all together, no all together, all together, all together, all time, all time.
Oh, since upload, okay. All time I've had just under 8000 views of that video. But that is since 25th of March 2018.
That's when I started this channel, the YouTube channel. Blimey, so 18 1920 2122 23. So it's nearly five years, but I didn't do anything with the channel really at all for years.
It just it's just been there. And it's only recently that I started to bought the last year, like probably last summer that I started to upload some videos and Yeah. So it's that try and stay awake hypnosis challenge has given me 41 subscribers.
That's interesting. Isn't that interesting? Don't you think? So I wonder if your subscription status is not subscribed. So out of people that listen, 56 on this is for the video.
Anyway, I don't know. So yeah, I'm just been working on the YouTube channel, basically. And okay, that's what it is.
That's what it is. Subscribers and give you Yeah, that's why I'm just audience. So it's much busier in the morning for some reason.
Apart from Sunday, when it's really busy in the evening, like seven, eight, nine, 10 o'clock. In, I guess this is UK time. That does make sense, though, because Sunday evening in the UK, I guess people are they're kind of winding down.
If they're going to work on Monday morning, they're winding down on a Sunday evening. I do that myself, even I'd like to listen to some calm radio or something like that. Maybe some music.
So according to this, the last 28 days. Yeah, 43% of the people that watch my videos are subscribed. 57 are not age and gender.
Did someone say I was many men that watch remember that person said, Oh, you're catering for men that think that whatever is quite I don't think it was the happiest message or comment that they'd posted. While 72.2% of female that watch my YouTube channel and 27.9% are male. The age group, the biggest the largest age group is 25 to 34.
That's 58.4%. This is just in the last month. The second highest number is 21% of 18 to 24 year olds, or 1824 hours is 21% of the viewers viewers. And then the third amount is 45 to 54, which is my age group.
Or lovely gas, lovely, nice 12.4%. And then 55 to 64 4.5% and 35 to 44 3.7%. So 25 to 34 is the biggest audience, the largest audience. Okay. I wonder about that is I wonder.
So if I go there, the last 20 days, if I go for all time, lifetime of the channel, let's go for lifetime of the channel. Yes. I change a little bit.
Mind you, I guess people have got older, haven't they? Oh, God. Got a fruity thing. 35.8% over the lifetime have been 18 to 24 year olds.
24.7% 25 to 34. When you think about it, if you had like 22 year old 21 year olds, five years ago, now they're going to be in the 2526 year old bracket. See, all works out exactly how you expected.
Let's have a look. If I go the last year, the last 365 days. Let's go.
Yeah, it's quite close. 18 to 24 36%. 29% 25 to 34.
So it variates. It variates and top geographies 52 54.2% is from the United States. Only according to this only 3.5% is from the United Kingdom.
Wow. You'd think there'd be more people from my own country when you just I don't know why. But maybe that's changed more recently.
So I put in 2023. Okay, it has a little bit. Not a lot.
United States 53.4%. UK 4.6%. Italy 3.6%. So there's nearly as many people in Italy watching my YouTube videos as there are in the United Kingdom. And this year 66.1% female 33.9% male. Now there was a time when it was more male than female.
But then I didn't have much on as much videos on here. So since I've been uploading I'm I must I want to just say I don't I'm not bothered. I'm not trying to attract male or female viewers.
I'm happy whoever watches or listens if it's useful. It makes no difference. It's just nice to know after getting that comment saying you're just catering for men.
It's like no, I'm really not. I'm not caring for any specific sexual organs at all. Sexual organ holders, I don't know what you want to call it.
I'm just doing my ting. So that was last year. So it's changed quite a bit last year to this year.
So last year now this year it's yeah, I've got an older audience but not by much. There's more 25 to 34 year olds. But then I've got more subscribers.
I've got more people watching. Because if you look at the stats, if you look at the stats for last year it's a bit different from this year. Even so say unique viewers, returner viewers, overview.
So the stats views. So we've got 28 days through at 524 views. Last year, 18,000 and 18,000 views.
So that was that was last year. This year, 2023 just under 10,000 and we're only in the middle of March. So it's, you know, it's going a bit better this year.
Yeah, so January I had 2.5 thousand, February 2.7 thousand, March 4.5 thousand. So it's growing, growing slightly, slightly. Yeah.
The funny thing about it, well funny for me, is those that don't like me talking about stats must be really annoyed because now, now I've got two platforms to talk about stats. The podcast and the YouTube channel. So yeah, I do want to get to, it's weird isn't it like over 50% of people that watch my videos don't subscribe.
Yeah, people that return. If I go 2023, the audience is not that many. Wow, that's not good, is it? So audience, unique viewers, returners.
I'm not going to read that one out because that looks really bad. Really bad. Unique viewers.
That doesn't make sense because the return viewers is less than my subscribers, less than the new subscribers I've had in the last couple of months. So that can't be correct. Unique viewers, not subscribed.
Unique, what is unique viewers then? What's the difference between return viewers and new geek, new geek. Unique, unique viewers not subscribed. I don't get it.
I don't understand. Does anyone understand? Because unique viewers, 47.6% are subscribed. Return viewers, 47.6% is subscribed.
So it doesn't make sense to me at all. What's the difference? So I've had 82 new subscribers this year so far. So it's not huge.
Last 365 days, 266 subscribers. So yeah, taking a while. 222, I've got 2022 got 218 subscribers.
2023, I got 82. I've already said that. Why am I repeating myself? I don't know why.
January, I got 31 subscribers. February, 24. And March, 27 so far.
Yeah, apparently it's 575% more than the same period last month. Is that right? Yeah, it is. Yeah.
So for the same period, I've got 575% more. That's not bad, is it? It's not bad, really. So, you know, it's kind of like a game in a way just to see what can happen with it.
YouTube is something that I used to spend all my time working on back in the old days. In the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2000. No, no, I've got it wrong there.
2007. I skipped a decade. 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.
So I had that channel for about six years, the main channel that I had. And I can't remember how many subscribers I had. Someone told me I had a few thousand.
It's weird, I forget. I know I had half a million views when I got rid of it. And I was getting 45.
I think my last month, before I deleted the channel, I had just under 50,000 views of my videos. So it'd been the best month I'd ever had. And then I, yeah, then I deleted it.
In no sure way. It's just one of those things. So I know I've talked about this before, but I do wonder, I mean, you think 10 years onwards, if I'd have progressed and made better videos, better quality, I might have, who knows, I might have, I might have 2000 subscribers by now.
Hmm. 2000, you say? I'm not gonna have like 10,000, I could have 100,000 by now, couldn't I? A million. I could be a millionaire.
A million subscribers. I could have one of those plaques. Can you hear him lapping away his water? I'm hoping he's going to go back to his bone, rather than just, no, he's gone.
To my feet, and he's looking up at me. If I can ignore him. If I can ignore him, normally he's okay.
But if he catches my eye, that's when he starts whining. He knows he's got my attention. And that's when he, he focuses on me.
And he wants me to play with him or do something. Anything but this, really. He just wants my attention.
My attention. So yeah, that's kind of what I've been doing, really, the last few days, the last few weeks, really. I've been working on trying to improve things.
And I've been looking at the AI side of stuff, how I can make better videos and. But at the end of the day, it's night. At the end of the day.
I don't, I don't want to detriment, I don't know if that's the right word, but I don't want to, I don't, I don't want my, my podcasts to suffer, because I'm putting too much energy and time into the YouTube channel. Now, statistically, things have been going quite well with the YouTube, with the podcast. Sorry.
Sorry. I'm very sorry. Very sorry.
So, you know, it's the last, the last 30 days, 30 days have had 385,210 downloads. So 385,000. It's not bad, is it? And I've only gone below 10,000.
Now I did 123455. I went below 10,005 times in the last 30 days, minimally, you know, by a very small amount. One was 8200.
The other was 9700, 8500, 9700. And the last one 8100. But the last few days, apart from that 8144, which is the 5th of March, every day has been okay, really, considering I didn't make any recordings for about seven days, I was still getting 13, 14,000 a day, 15,000, 15,600, 14,000, 13,800, 16,181.
And the weekend where I would normally not do so many weekends, Saturday and Sunday, a little bit quieter sometimes. It's been all right. Nearly 13,000 yesterday and 11,000 so far today.
And it's half past six in the evening. Half past seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12. So there's still six and a half hours left, the day to go.
So, you know, I'm fairly pleased. This is going okay. It's, it's, it's, it is, it is what it is.
It is what it is, whatever that is. I'm not sure. So I've had 1.2 million downloads this year so far, since January.
So that's all right there. It's all right. Can't grumble about that.
Not really. Not going to grumble. There's no point grumbling.
The last 12 months, I already did that anyway, didn't I, last year. So current week, the last seven days, 93,609. So yeah, it's 13, 14, 15, 16.
Blimey. In one week, nearly 100,000 downloads. Not bad, is it? For someone like me, you know, someone who's just sitting in his little bedroom, talking into a microphone, with a little doggie in the background, chomping on a bone, trying to pretend to talk about things.
Not him, me. And just pretend I'm boring, when actually reality is I'm a very interesting person. No one's figured it out, though.
After all these years, not one person's figured that I'm actually quite interesting. It has surprised me. I thought at least one person would have said, Jason, I've just got to tell you, you really are an interesting person.
I realize, you know, the title is a joke title, and let me bore you to sleep, but you're so damn interesting. But no one has. No one has.
Never done it. I don't know why. I don't know why.
So yeah, did someone just phone me up? No, I got my phone on, what's it? Mute. So that I don't have to hear it ring. So that's it, really.
I've got an appointment. I've got no appointments this week. I've got a couple of doctor's appointments next month.
I need to phone my dentist tomorrow to try and get an appointment there. And I've got another appointment at the end of this month with a different thing. But this coming week, yes, pretty free.
So what I would like to do is I want to get my ears set up, you know, my ear microphone for the Deep Sleep Whisper podcast. And get that set up with my other digital recorder, which I bought for that reason. And was also going to use it if I ever managed to go traveling.
Because it's quite compact. It's very good. It's very good recorder.
I say that I've not actually tried it yet. Not used it. But I need to have a separate desk for the whisper recordings.
I just need to have it as a separate thing. The reason for that is because they've become quite popular. They've really sort of kind of grown.
I'm getting thousands of downloads pretty much every day now on the Deep Sleep Whisper hypnosis podcast, ASMR Deep Sleep Whisper hypnosis. The last 30 days I've had 56,000. Now the first from the 18th to 27th of February, I was getting, you know, just under 1000 or 1000.
But after the 28th of February, 2600, 2400, 3100, 2700, 3200, 3000, 3008, 2700, 2700, 2400. So it's grown considerably. And I'm not sure why.
I don't understand. Why is it growing so much? So, you know, I'm quite pleased, obviously, very pleased. Where are the sources from this one? Apple podcast, mainly 96.26% comes from Apple podcasts.
Spotify 0.62%. Amazon Music 0.55%. I just find that 0.12% comes from my website. That's 66. 66 subscribers, subscribers, downloads from my website.
But 53,948 from Apple podcast in the last 30 days. The last 12 months, 349 from my podcast from my website. 510,555 from Apple podcast.
So 546,546. Okay, last 12 months. So that is, I don't know, it's it's weird.
I'm still getting 1000s from other people. But it's such a small percentage compared to the rest. Well, compared to the Apple cast box 1% podcast.
Addict 1% Spotify 0.78%. Stitcher 0.76%. I don't understand this because Spotify is I always wanted to be really popular. I'm really happy about Apple podcasts, you know, people listening on there. I'd also like Spotify.
And I don't know if it's I don't know, do they promote my stuff? Or do they is my stuff hidden on there? People don't know it's on there. I don't know. Because I think all my podcasts are on there.
What you want to know how many downloads I've had all together. Okay, well, Deep Sleep Whisper 1.2 million. Hypnosis for Hypnosis for Sleeping Deeply 3.6 million.
Hypnosis for Stress and Anxiety 3.7 million. Oh, wow. And then Sleep Insomnia Hypnosis 2.2 million.
What about Let Me Boy To Sleep? A million million billion trillion 679,000. So recently, I've had some real spikes on that podcast. I know people listen to these recordings these episodes on other podcasts as well.
And these are some of the most popular ones on the podcast. However, I'm having days where I'm getting like, like Friday 287 downloads, which is very low. Thursday 307.
The 15th I think that's when I did the last recording. Was it? I don't know. So 1128.
Yesterday, 1586 downloads on the Let Me Boy To Sleep podcast. And then today, 206. 206.
It's ridiculous. I can't believe it. And three, the last 12 months, 236,000.
See, we're kind of, yeah, January was quite a busy month. 32,000 downloads. Last month, 15,000.
This month, I've had already had more than last month. And we're the 19th. So still 10, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31.
So there's still 12 days left. 12 days. So there's a chance I could reach above the 32,000.
It's possible. It's possible. It's possible.
Good thing it's 20. It's possible. It might not.
It might, might not. But it is. It's probably not going to happen.
It could happen. And the only other podcast is anywhere near doing okay is the Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily. 575,963.
And that variates. I mean, on the 1st of March, I had 2,167 downloads. Today, I had 325.
Thursday, 73. Then Friday, 611. Then Saturday, 88.
So you know, it really does up and down, up and down. There are no other podcasts that really do. They kind of plod along.
Like the Stop Smoking Relaxation Hypnosis podcast. It plods along 100 plus a day sometimes. You know, so just plods along.
Sleep hypnosis with music. Again, that variates. I go from 1000 downloads, 1012 downloads on the 15th, which is what four days ago.
And then the next day, 72. Next day, 140. Next day, 254.
Today, 64. The 7th of March, 1,102. It's anyone's guess, really, isn't it? It's anyone's guess.
It's almost like I'm making it up to go along. Maybe I am. Maybe I am.
I don't know. Do you think I am? I don't know. Last 12 months.
It must be a... I wish there was another way of getting the stats. So I could really see a bit more deeper, a bit more deeper into what's going on. Does that make sense? Wow, 899 subscribers to my YouTube channel.

Whenever I look at it, I just feel that sense of connection with the world. Yeah, I'm not drunk. Because someone said that.
Oh, you're drunk. Sound drunk. This is a comment left on one of my podcasts that I came over when I was doing some research.
And like, oh, I mean, maybe I slur, but that's just because of the way I talk. And sometimes I kind of fall half asleep when I'm making a podcast because I bore myself. Because think about it.
I'm hearing it as well. Not only am I saying it, I'm also hearing it. And when I do the hypnosis recordings, I will sometimes fall asleep.
And I will sometimes go into a really deep trance, where I don't know where I am. And I don't know what I've said. And I have to re-listen.
Because I'm pretty sure, well, sometimes I'll be like, now counting down from 10 down to 1, 10, 9, and I get to 2. And I'm like, it's not my lawnmower. 2. I've lost my underpants. And just some random thing.
And I'm not sure if I've said it or not, or if I thought it. So I have to, well, I don't have to. And there have been times in the past when I haven't edited anything.
And I've just put it out there and hope for the best. I don't do that anymore. I do try to make sure I haven't said anything too weird during the trance.
Because when I'm doing this, I'm aware of what I'm saying. And I know it's all a lot of it's just silly, very, very silly, pointless stuff. But when I do a hypnosis recording, and I'm focused on relaxing the different parts of your body, I'm also relaxing those parts of my body.
And when I'm suggesting that your mind slows down, my mind also is slowing down, which in turn makes it harder to focus on what words I'm going to say next. And I almost need to go into some kind of automatic mode and put a bit of trust in my in my own. I don't know if it's memory or ability or just some trust in myself that I'll be able to come up with the right words.
And stay, I guess, focused, not necessarily within my mind, but within the things I'm saying. That made sense to me. I can't do I know what I'm talking about.
Just because you don't, it doesn't mean that it doesn't make sense. Even though it might not make sense. Sense.Me, me, me, me, me, me, me. Drunk. I don't know why.
I mean, do I sound drunk? This is a genuine question. Do I sound drunk? I don't drink. I mean, I know I've already addressed this in my last podcast, but I promise it bugged me a little bit.
Just so the only reason that I would say the things I say is because I'm drunk. And this is just me. This is what I'm like when there's no one else around.
I'm not like this. Well, I'm semi like this. I have a semi when there's other people around, maybe I can be a bit like this.
But it can be annoying to be around sometimes. You know, someone wants to be all serious, and I'm not in the mood. And it depends.
And I only I only make these recordings when I'm in the right mood as well. Which is why I don't necessarily do them every day. I don't do them at the same time.
Although, quite often, I do feel better for having done them. More probably because I've done something, you know, actually contributed something to the world, something, however meager and pointless this may be to a lot of people. It's hopefully useful to some.
And it's an accumulative thing, I think. It's an accumulative it. For people have been listening to me for four or five years, or maybe even longer, you know, maybe 14 years, 15, 16 years, probably just hearing me talk.
It just immediately causes you to relax. You know, it's I'm hoping a friendly voice on the end of the not the telephone, but the internet to internet. So a friendly voice.
And someone you might not know this, because this is a couple of years back, three years ago, maybe four years ago, I had a review of my podcast, the Let Me Boy To Sleep podcast. But they didn't do a review of that. They did a review of my, I think it was Jason Newland hypnosis podcast.
Now, that's basically the podcast I used to have. That that used to be my main podcast. And I transferred it from where I had it before, onto this, you know, this platform.
And I got 254,000 downloads on there. But now I only get 20, 30, 40 a day. So to get 254,000 means I must have Wow, really had a lot more earlier on.
So anyway, this this website reviewed my podcast. And initially, I had a picture of Andre on that podcast. There's a picture of him.
It might be a picture of me holding him, I think. And the man said, Oh, this is unless it was the Let Me Boy To Sleep. I don't know.
Anyway, he reviewed, he listened to one of my Let Me Boy To Sleep episodes, which was on the either that podcast or this podcast. And his review was pretty scathing, pretty, pretty scathing. He said, at first, I thought it'd be a nice podcast, because there's a picture of a little ferret on there.
I thought it'd be nice. Oh, and then he said, Oh, he's just copying. Really? Now that now the little right, I'm gonna put you on hold for a second, and I'm gonna get rid of him and then we'll come back.
Right, just put him in a bedroom for a couple of minutes. So yeah, they said, and this is he actually did a podcast tearing apart my podcast. So he was doing this verbally, not just written down.
And he said that I was copying somebody else. That also had a sleep podcast, someone that's one of the most popular sleep podcast people. And I was just copying him.
Now, I didn't know about this other person. I'd not listened to this other person. I wasn't copying him at all.
And I'm nothing like him. I've listened to him since and I'm nothing like him. It's very different.
And this, you know, the reason why I started the Let Me Boy To Sleep podcast five years ago was simple. It's because I used to do a vlog. And then I did podcasts as well.
But I did a vlog on YouTube called Jason chats. And it is basically an update. I started off in 2017.
Just doing an update. I used to call them latest updates. And the date, you know, whatever day was Jen, December 2017, whatever.
And I talked about what I was up to. I talked about the latest. At that time, it probably would have been what I've moved now I've moved to a different place.
I remember actually making a video sitting on a bed in a new room that I just moved to when I was at university. And I moved there in the November. And I remember making a video and it was just an update.
I thought I called it and I uploaded it onto my YouTube channel. And and then gradually they turned from being I call them different things. Sometimes I call I went for about three.
One was the bearded lover. One was pretending to think and then Jason chats. I think I did bipolar Jason chats or Jason chats bipolar vlog as well.
And then I just kind of reverted back to just doing Jason chats. Sometimes I do them regularly, sometimes do them once a week. And sometimes they would be long, they'd be like an hour long.
And I just be talking. Kind of like I am now really. And someone sent me a message.
Literally five years ago, just before I started this podcast to let me bore you to sleep podcast. And they posted something either put on Facebook, or I don't know, maybe on YouTube, I can't remember. And they said, Oh, we should do more Jason chat blocks, blocks.
And they really send me to sleep. Initially, I was not not upset or I didn't have any strong emotions. A little bit thinking, well, that's not me being boring, then it's just me being myself.
Why would that send you to sleep? I'm not boring. But then I thought, okay. What can I do with this? What can I do with that information? And that's, that's, so that's how this podcast started.
I just did the very first episode in Blimey. It was I can't even remember just to 2000. And what did I say 18? I mean, literally got to go all the way down.
It's too many to go through this millions. Well, it's not millions, obviously. But it's weird because I go down number episode 70.
No, it's number episode 81. 24 January 2019. Blimey.
So yeah, so it was 2008. It's literally just about five years, the 25th of March, five years ago. And I looked it up the other day, it took about an hour to find it.
But it is. Wait a minute. So yeah, it's it was quite a while ago.
Anyway, so I thought, okay, let's have a go. Let's just see. Let's see what we can come up with what we can come up with what I can come up with.
Let's see what I didn't know what to do. To be honest, I didn't know what it was going to be. Was it going to be hypnosis? What is going to be a mixture of hypnosis mixed with me talking about my life? That was kind of the idea.
And it was going to be similar to my I forget the name of them now. Hypno chats, where I'd start talking about the day and then I'd move into a kind of hypnosis. And it kind of just it made its own way in the world this podcast.
It just became I don't know, it became something I'm not even sure what it is now. But it just developed into something which I generally don't know really what it is. I don't know.
It's me talking, but I'm not really sure. Not really sure. I mean, it's weird and you think about like number 541.
Let me board sleep Friday 13th and other stupid stitions. So I mean, that was number 541, November 2020. So now I'm nearly 1000.
It's just weird just how 340, 341, February 2020. 2020. And I didn't use I didn't even use to give the podcast names, the episodes names.
473. Let me boy to sleep. 13th of August 2020.
The headline I was awoken by a ferret eating my toes. I mean, wow. So just I can almost it's kind of like a journal in a way.
Which I never thought of it as being like that. But I guess it is, isn't it? This is kind of an online journal. And if I did turn this well transcribed all of these things.
Although it would take a long time. 27th of March 2018. That was the very first recording.
And it was 28 minutes long. 28 minutes and 13 seconds long. Yeah, so the first few recordings, and I can't see number two, but number three was 22 minutes long.
The number four was 52 minutes long. And it gradually got longer. So by number 20, which was April 2018, it was just under an hour.
And I'm looking at these ones number 38, 47, 36. They're all around the hour mark. So after about 20 recordings, pretty much was an hour long after that.
And then it wasn't until much, much later that I started producing recordings with music in the background. And then five hour and 10 hour versions as well. Just trying to try to be as just be as wonderful as possible.
You know, it's because a 10 hour recording, some people would want to just stick it on and not be interrupted. And know that throughout that 10 hours, there's no adverts, there might be a couple of adverts at the very beginning. And that's it.
No disruptions. With YouTube, unless you've got a subscription with YouTube, you'll have adverts come on. Potentially, I mean, I wouldn't have adverts during the recording, only at the beginning.
I would have adverts during the actual recording. But you know, a lot of places do have adverts, because that's where they make their money. A lot of YouTube channels, I mean, some YouTube channels, I can't it's amazing how many adverts they have in a video, like a five minute video or 10 minute video.
They'll have adverts like every three minutes or every two minutes. It's like, come on, man. Give it a rest, baby.
But hey, if I was earning half a million a year or whatever, or 100 grand a month, whatever they get, I suppose perhaps I'd do the same. But I can't do the same not with these, not with what I do. It can't be the whole 20 minutes into falling asleep or relaxed, listening to me talking my wonderful, interesting stuff.
And then suddenly have an advert. It just don't work. That's why whatever I do, there's only ever adverts right at the beginning.
And that'd be it. And then none at the end. But of course, if you've got something playing at the end, and it continues, then it might be adverts at the beginning.
At the end, it sounds like it's at the end of the recording, but it's not just at the beginning of the new recording. But that's another thing, I think I'm doing all right, considering considering that my most popular episodes, my podcasts, my most popular ones, if I look at statistics, no, not again. If I actually go and 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours.
Those are the most popular ones, the 10 hour recordings. 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours. So it's, it's a lot of them are the let me boy to sleep, funny enough.
Blimey. It's like nine out of 10. Let me boy to sleep.
Which is not bad, is it? I'm quite pleased with that. It's very happy, very, very happy. Get that back.

But yeah, the top 10. Let me boy to sleep. But 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours.
So I wonder if the same as with a deep sleep, whisper hypnosis, is it the same? Deep sleep, whisper hypnosis. So that was is going to be deep sleep whisper, but it's 10 hours, five hours, 10 hours, five hours. Music, five hours, music, music.
Oh, so the most popular ones on there are not the 10 hour ones. There are popular ones at 10 hours, but it's a mixture. If I do the last 365 last 12 day, 12 months.
Oh, 10 hours, 10 hours, five hours, 10 hours, 10 hours, 10 hours. Yeah, most of them are 10 hours, a few five hours. So that's that's kind of seems to be the way it goes.
What about the let me boy to sleep? How many of the people listen to the the 10 hours? So last 12 months. 10 hours. So the top one for the last 12 months is preparing to study 10 hours talking music.

So only one hour 15 is not 10 hours long. With the let me boy to sleep. And when you think about that, that's you know, someone's listening for 10 hours.
They're not listening to many recordings are they in a day. And 10 hours is a long time. Long, long, long time.

It's the reason behind it. And there's many benefits to me. One of the benefits is it gives my life purpose.
I can't always grab hold of that. To be honest, I can't always keep that in my mind. But it comes and goes.
It gives me it gives me it makes me feel maybe a little bit irrelevant, maybe. And I'm hopefully being useful, contributing to society. And although I might not be contributing to my own local society, I think society is the world, you know, it's all of us, wherever you are society, even Belgium.
I like Belgium. I keep mentioning Belgium because I don't know why, because I like Belgium. And I seem to be getting more listeners from Belgium.
And I'm thinking, I hope they're okay with me. Yeah, I realize I'm, I actually like the place. You should visit Belgium.
Is it Belgium or Belgium, Belgium, Belgium, Belgium, you should visit. It's nice. Especially if you don't like the hills.
Because it is saying somewhere it's flat. It's not it's not a negative thing. I like flat spaces.
I'm not. It's like it's no different saying that if you go to Wales, and they've actually got areas they call the valleys, because it is and I've been to Wales. And literally, it's like, why steep, steep roads going all the way down, and houses being built down there.
It's honestly, it's, they're almost like opposites. So you got the valleys in Wales were really hilly, very hilly. And then you got another country, Belgium, which is a flatter.
And I think it's similar in part those parts of in Amsterdam, fairly. Amsterdam is not a country. I didn't say it was a country.
I just said isn't Amsterdam is quite flat. I've been to Amsterdam. I've been to France.
I've been to Bulgaria, that was very lumpy. I was in those mountains there. So it was quite mountainy and lumpy in France as well, because I was in the, in the Alps, the slight south of France area, I think, was the Alps, I don't know.
But it was mountains anyway. It was weird, because I remember we had, we bought two sticks, like, you know, those breadsticks, the long ones, bought two of those and some water, couple of big bottles of water. And we traveled for about two days, hitchhiking and walking.
We get into Paris, I think we end up getting, yeah, we get into Paris, that's it. What do we do? So we're eating water, eating bread, drinking water, to save money, couldn't have much money. Soon as we got to Paris, in a pizza place, drinking beer, eating pizza, spending probably, well it wasn't my money, but he probably spent quite a bit of money, my friend, on that.
We could have eaten. Why did we, why did we, why do we have bread? Just bread, it did taste nice, and if you're hungry enough, it does taste nice, but that's not the point. I don't know, I think he thought it was a French thing, he'd be walking around with a, with a, what do they call those loaves, the big long ones? They're like, like Pinocchio's willy, kind of, they look a little like that, looks a bit wooden, they're not wooden, obviously they're made of bread, but if Pinocchio is made of, of bread, yeah, it's time to go now.
