Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name is Jason Newland. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.
Now to the left of me is my friend's huge white dog and next to him is little Vinnie, who's probably the size of the dog's head. In fact, if you put Vinnie inside the other dog's body, you could rattle him around and you could hear it be like a cave, echoey. Stepdad! Stepdad! Stepdad! Stepdad! Like that, because it echoes.
And he calls me Stepdad, because it just, I don't know. You're right, mate. It's really weird.
He was, Vinnie was fast asleep on the bed in the bedroom, where I keep the bed. And Logie over there is on the settee. He's wiggling his tail because I said his name.
As soon as I sit down at my table, my desk, to do this recording, Vinnie suddenly appears and Logie's awake. Now Vinnie wants my attention and normally he's quite content to just leave me alone when when his best mate's here, because they are best friends. So I'm not really sure what he wants.
I'm hoping that he will leave me alone in order to make this recording. I don't want it. I don't need him to leave me alone.
I'm quite happy for him to cuddle me and crawl all over me and anything like that. Just not the old barking thing. He cuddles.
You have cuddles all day long. It's always cuddles. You have daddy cuddles 25 hours a day if you want.
Yeah, always available. Kisses and cuddles from your daddy are always available all the time. Yeah, always.
But he doesn't want that. He wants to play with me. He wants to play fight.
Now the problem with that is Logie is quite protective of me because he's known me for a long time, many years. And if Vinnie starts biting me, even though it's playing, Logie might tell him off. So I probably better not get all rough and tumble with Vinnie while Logie's here.
Logie's the other dog. I kept calling my neighbor's dog, but his name's Logan. Every time I say he jumps up, stay there.
Stay there, mate. Okay, ignore me. That's a good boy.
Ignore me. He's having a stretch. Poor little thing.
He's not little, but he's got arthritis in his legs now, in his arms. And I think it's causing him more problems because he's so heavy. He's a big, big dog.
His neck's bigger than my neck. His head's bigger than my head. And I've got one hell of a big head.
Biggest head in the world. Ah, all right. Yeah, again, someone's knocking at the door.
Someone's knocking at the door. There used to be a thing, a TV show, Emu. Okay, just, oh man.
Do you know that when you see in the wildlife movies or the TV shows where they've got the birds and the mother bird or the father bird comes back and all the little hens or the little birds are begging for food out and the bird just like, and they all eat it out of its beak. Yeah, I've seen that as well. Now, this is what these two are like at the moment.
Well, they were when I said it. Now they're not. They're both like, give me something.
It's like, I haven't got anything. I don't know what they want. They've got water down there.
I can't put food down because Logie will eat. He just inhales food. He doesn't eat it.
He inhales. What he inhales in about 30 seconds will last Vinnie about two days, three days of food. Seriously, that's, I mean, it's not even, I'm not even exaggerating.
That's the difference in size. It's just hugely different. Vinnie, don't lick that.
Mind you, Logie's not complaining. Don't. Anyway.
So yeah. So where was I? I don't know what I was talking about. I'm making this recording quite early in the day.
It's three o'clock. Part of the reason is because, well, the reason it's three o'clock is because it's three o'clock, but the reason I'm making it early is because I've got these little fellas with me and there's not much else I can really do. I can't really watch a movie or really kind of concentrate on editing or anything like that because they're here and I just, they're kind of, not that they need my attention, but they kind of do in a way.
So I can't do a sleep recording, like a deep sleep whisper. I can't really do a hypnosis recording because I don't know if they're going to be making sounds. Isn't it weird that I had this idea that I can't have any sounds in the background.
Like what does it matter really? You know, for the first, I don't know, it's only really been the last few years that I've, you know, put a lot of effort into trying to improve the sound quality of the recordings. Before that, I did, you know, I didn't not care, but for me, the priority was the quality of the content rather than what it sounds like. And I'm pretty sure, pretty sure that, pretty sure, I'll have to check this out, but apps such as Spotify, they, well, I know for a fact, they change the sound anyway, because they make this, they make the file a heck of a lot smaller, just like YouTube do.
So if you upload a 20 gigabyte file to YouTube, a video, 20 gigabytes, which is big, they're not going to keep it at 20 gigabytes. It'll end up being a lot smaller. Maybe 100 megabytes or maybe more than that, but it's still a lot less than that.
Yet the quality will still be maybe the same. And I think sometimes with podcasts, the quality, they, I don't know what they do, they put it through some kind of software or something that seems to improve the quality. So I might just be wasting my time.
I might as well just use, go back to using the iPhone or a Dictaphone, not Dicta, Dic, recorder thing, you know, those little things that used to put tapes in. Those, remember, those things I have, we're going back a while. But yeah, I actually got a converter.
So it's a Dicta recorder, the converter so put in, but it wasn't for the little, the little ones, it was for the big tapes, the normal size tapes that probably don't even sell anymore. I don't know. And then converting that into an MP3.
I'm not sure if I've still got the small tapes. It's possible I chucked them out. Why I would do that? I don't know.
Something that I had for 30 years, why I just suddenly chuck them out. I don't know. But there's a chance I did.
But I did keep, I copied them onto, maybe not all of them, but I copied quite a few of them onto big tapes. So I've got about 15 tapes, maybe less. But the problem with tapes is they can break.
And that's it. That's kind of a done deal once they're gone. So, you know, if I leave it, especially if I leave them somewhere, that they could get damaged or I don't know, or just deteriorate over time.
I could lose those recordings from when I was 21, 20, 20 years old on stage. Telling jokes that no one was laughing at. Hmm.
Sounds familiar. Still doing it. I was having a drink of Coca-Cola.
Oh, itchy. I got itches. I got itches.
They're multiplying. So, yeah. Today is Thursday.
Yeah. Thursday, the 2nd of February. I've made a couple of videos.
So I've got one that's processing now. So I'm trying to get all that done. YouTube's subscribers have gone up.
So that's nice. This is a gradual process. I think I've been releasing two videos a day because I've got a backlog of recordings that I've converted into videos.
I've made them, produced them into videos with really good graphics and all that stuff. And I was originally putting different music into the background. But that was taking up too much memory.
And it was quite hard to process them or render them. But now I've, what I've done is I'm using recordings that already have background music on them, you know, from the original podcast. And it's making it a little bit easier to sort of do it.
So there's probably still a couple of hundred recordings to turn into videos. Because I don't know what I'm doing is I'm only uploading recordings that sound good. I'm only generally uploading recordings that have background music on as well.
So anything before when I started having background music, I'm not adding those. So yeah, I mean, so I've got the Let Me Boy To Sleep ones, I'm a little bit behind on those on a video for YouTube. Because it's so long, they take a while and sometimes they don't work properly.
They don't doesn't process. It's like too much work to do just wasn't won't do it. For the Deep Sleep Whisper ones, they're generally about 20 minutes plus.
So they're fairly a good length to process and convert into a video. When I say convert, I mean, I do the work to make it into a video. I just pressed the convert button.
Well, that would be nice. And the Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily. I'm up to date with those, I think.
So I've just been uploading the latest ones as I do them. I think I'm a few days behind on that one as well. But I have, I'm ahead, I'm still ahead, which is good.
So I'm not behind anymore. I haven't been behind since. Wow.
Before Christmas, no, before Christmas, maybe before Christmas. So I started uploading stuff and getting it ready. Why the internet's going slow? Oh, so I've lost one subscriber since this morning.
I had 850 now is 849. That's why I try not to take it all too serious. In a sense of it's just one subscriber, it comes and goes.
It's just the way it is. It's, I mean, 850 subscribers is such a small amount anyway. So it doesn't really matter.
You know, if I had 500,000 subscribers, and I suddenly lost 20,000, that would be like, Whoa, what's happened here? I must have done something wrong. But yeah, it seems fine. I'm not too concerned.
It just changes, continuously changing. It was 848 yesterday. Now it's 849.
But the day before that was 845. So it went up to by three. So, but this is the last 28 days.
It starts off at 820. So I'm gonna start laughing now. Wow.
So that's 49 in a month. Now 29, 29 in a month. Oh, dear.
I did reply to some podcasts, such as some messages. And maybe, maybe that's why someone unsubscribed, because I didn't, didn't like the response I gave, but I didn't give any negative responses. And even people that had a couple of people write something a bit weird.
Someone said, I don't like your voice. So what are you telling me? I didn't, I didn't write that down. I said, Oh, thanks.
Thanks for your kind words. So they might have. I mean, why would they have just subscribed anyway? I don't know.
The other people, someone said that I was, I was catering. I read the I did read it out. Because it was one of the weirdest comments I've ever had.
And I didn't really understand where they were coming from. If I'm if I'm honest, if I'm if I'm I've had lots of messages from Sebastian, who on YouTube is your favorite uncle Hubert. I want our Vinnie.
I keep calling Vinnie Andre by accident. That's bad, isn't it? And it might be a good sign though, might be a sign that I'm warming to him more. It's taken a while.
And I think maybe because he's had so many homes. He hasn't made, I think he has made this his home now. But he's still in the process.
I was talking to a friend earlier and he said, well, in six months time, it'll be completely different. You know, he would, this will be, he'll know that he's not going anywhere else. He won't have that fear, because he might, he might not know, like logically why he's worried.
But he's a worrying dog. He's definitely got anxiety issues. And he's, he's worried, he's very, and they might not know why.
Because I'm guessing dogs don't have that same kind of way of thinking. I'm no expert on that stuff. So I'll just stop talking.
So there. Oh, where's that person? Oh, this is a funny one. Hey, Jason, this is from three years ago, Henry Tudor.
He's, I'm not even sure if he's an actual, if he's a real person or not. I'm guessing his name isn't Henry Tudor. And I think he used to follow me years ago.
It might just be another Sebastian, might be one of Sebastian's random YouTube accounts. And this is, Hey, Jason, it's Henry. I enjoy listening to your videos to help my anxiety.
So saying that bit like, okay, maybe it's a real person. And I appreciate if I am brilliant. But then he says, just wondering if you went to school in Hastings, as my grandfather entered my bedroom, whilst I was listening to you.
And he asked what I was listening to. And I said your name. And he said he went to school with a Jason Newland in Hastings.
So we were both wondering, is it you? My grandfather is 68 now. And he left school in 1967. Right.
I was born in 1970. This is on a video where it shows me talking. Okay.
You can clearly see that I'm not nearly 70 years old. On this video, yes, it's a few years back to be fair the video. But then it's three years ago, he left the comment.
Even YouTube kept it as spam. We held it for review. 60.
Wish that if he's 68, then say now 71. I'm not 71. There was another one.
Where is it? It was one of the strangest ever. But I can't seem to find it. I haven't responded.
Ones I haven't responded to. I was basically just Sebastian's ones. I don't bother responding to Sebastian's ones.
All he needs is to know that I've actually read them. That's what he loves. That's what he needs.
Okay, right. So let's have a look. I'll go back to that.
I had a lovely message last few 10 hours ago. This is from Brad. It's on YouTube.
Jason, I feel so privileged to have found your sessions. I listen daily and you've helped me over a decade. Helped me for over a decade.
Gratitude coming your way, mate. Many thanks. Thank you, Brad.
If you listen to this, just like Wow, thank you. Brilliant. Such a really lovely thing to hear that for such a long time as well.
Why is it got a lock on it? Publicly subscribed to me two years ago allows everyone to see their subscriptions. Okay, there's a lock on his next to his thing for some reason. This is this.
All right. Okay. Okay.
Okay. Okay. Okay.
I'll find it in a second. Give me time. Give me time.
Please never. So sad that your channel is gone. You had way more views back then.
Yeah, I did. I did. It's true.
Jimena says Jimena, Jimena. I fell asleep yesterday to one of your videos after hours of trying to fall asleep. Thank you very much.
Keep them coming. That was on deep sleep, whisper hypnosis, mind vacation. Thanks for the video.
Happy holidays. That's from suffix. Suffix.
I can't find this message. It was just a really straight strange message that I've never maybe I'm just being a bit slow and it's very possible. Suffix are the same person.
I found your channel just a couple of days ago. Your videos really have been helping me out lately. Thank you very much.
And that was for stress and pain relief number 45. Just now. So I think I uploaded all the stress and pain relief ones.
I think I did. I can't remember. Oh, yeah, this is the one akimbo geo 11.
Two months ago. I've read it out. I want to read it again because my reply was thank you for your kind words.
Okay. And it says list. It was a let me boy to sleep number 894 made up facts was a title of that one.
That was from a couple of months ago. Congratulations on discovering this new market niche or niche. I think your audience is mostly men.
Incorrect. Thank you very much. Who don't have so I think your audience is mostly men who don't have or particularly want friends.
And who periodically need to reboot their opinion that people are boring. As proper put down, isn't it? Not just to me, but to the people that enjoy what I do. People listen to my video or listen to my podcast or watch my videos.
And the idea that my audience is mostly men. I follow my stats quite closely as some of you may noticed over the years. I have a higher percentage of females listening to my podcasts.
And men listen, of course, as well. But it is top heavy with women. So the idea is almost like this person saying that I was.
I don't know. I don't know, like calling me a misogynist. Maybe I don't know.
I mean, I will not be anything I cannot spell. You don't have or particularly want friends. Only people listen to my recordings of people who don't have or particularly want friends.
Again, what a horrible thing to say about the people that listen. It's not even having a go at me is this that's having a go at the audience. And I'm pretty sure if if this was a popular YouTube channel, that person would come under a lot of hassle from saying that, because it basically had a go at loads of people.
Now, that's the only comment on that video. So and by the time by the time I've got 10,000 subscribers on YouTube, that video will be long. Not hidden, but it just you know, that'll be from years ago.
People won't like even probably ever watch it. So they won't see the comment unless they do go back and watch some of the older videos. But one thing and then and then this person.
So congratulations on discovering this new niche. I think your audience is mostly men who don't have or particularly want friends and who periodically need to reboot their opinion that people are boring. I never ever said that people are boring.
The only person I ever called boring is me. Even for my sleepy boring objects podcast. Not on every podcast, but I try and kind of point out that, although I'm focusing on a subject, it doesn't mean that I think or feel or believe that that subject or object that I'm discussing is boring.
I'm just being boring with my description. It's just it's, I guess being boring is another word for relaxing, just for me boring you so that you're no longer thinking about stuff that you were thinking about before. That's high pitch before and it's it's a break.
It's taking some time off. And you know, the sleepy boring objects are choose different things. I had Belgium, I've got cheese, all kinds of things.
It doesn't you know, I like cheese. I like Belgium. I like let's have a look how many things I actually like out of those things I chose for my book smelly boring, not smelly, sleepy boring objects.
I mean, the actual podcast itself got hardly any people listening, but the actual I share them on other podcasts and they do get listened to. Okay, so I've got a total of 34 different episodes. And they're all, they're all, yeah, they're all right, I suppose.
I don't know. It's not really down to me to say whether they're good or not, is it? Although they are. So the first episode is rain.
There's nothing boring about rain. I love rain. If it wasn't for rain, we'd all be dead.
Of course I like rain. The next one's hair. I'm a fan of hair.
I've got a bald patch. Of course I love hair. I love hair.
More than I've ever loved hair. I don't want it everywhere. You know, I'm not a bear.
I'm not a dog. I'm not a cat. I don't want hair everywhere.
Even cats have, you know, dogs have a little bit of space where they don't have hair, don't they? On their chest and their tummy and that. But I like hair on my head. So, you know, I'm a fan of hair.
Bricks. Nothing boring about bricks. If it weren't for bricks, I wouldn't have a house to live in.
I'd be very cold. Number four was my big pink pig piggy bank. I can't even say it.
Big pink pig piggy bank. So it got broken, unfortunately. I don't know.
I can't remember how it broke. I think it just fell off the floor, fell off the floor, fell off the bookcase or something. But there was nothing boring about that.
If anything, it was exciting. It was a big piggy bank shaped as a pink pig. What could be more exciting than that? Right.
The next one. Printers. Not anyone, no one in the world would say that print is boring.
You know how exciting it is when you you press print on your computer, on your phone or whatever, and you're waiting for the document to print. That's that's like the rush of it. I remember when I worked in the office, I get so excited.
And people say, why are you so excited? Why are you wetting yourself with excitement? I said, look, the printers over there. It's about to start. It's going to print out a document.
And, you know, everyone was the same. No one's bored with printers. Printers are exciting.
And the next one is cameras. Well, cameras aren't boring, are they? What a silly thing to say. Cameras are boring.
No, they're not. No, they're not. They're not.
If it wasn't for cameras, we wouldn't be able to take pictures. If it wasn't for cameras, you know, it's cameras have transformed. They transformed the medical world.
We wouldn't have movies. We wouldn't have videos. We wouldn't have the Internet.
Let's face it, if the Internet was just text and words, who would go on it? No one. No one. Well, it used to be just that, didn't it, to be fair.
In the early days, it was just mainly just words. The odd picture that took 10 minutes to upload or download, which, yeah, download. Cameras have transformed our lives.
Some plugs. Plugs. There's nothing.
OK, I should sort of point out which kind of plugs I'm talking about. Plugs like the electric currents go through, you know, so you can electrify your electronic equipment. Yeah, that's a good description.
Plugs. Well, if it wasn't for plugs, I wouldn't be able to make this recording. I wouldn't be able to watch television.
I mean, plugs are brilliant. There's nothing boring about plugs. I'll make a recording about it.
It doesn't mean it's boring. It doesn't mean that I think it's boring. I mean, I don't know how much more I could do.
Pizza. I'm not even going to discuss that because anyone that thinks pizza is disgusting is boring rather than disgusting. Anyone who thinks pizza is boring has got issues.
It's the most exciting food there is. That's what I'm saying. Swimming pools.
Well, I can see both sides of the coin on this one. I'm not really a swimmer. And it's not fair on other people to see me walking towards the pool because I don't know.
I think people are waiting for the water to rise up when I get in, which is a bit rude. But I, yeah, I'm not a big fan of swimming pools. However, I'm aware that it's one of the best exercises you could do.
It's, I mean, save your life to learn to swim. It's a great, great way to can be, especially when you're younger, it can be a great way to meet new people. And a great activity if you've got young kids and, you know, to go and take them swimming and stuff and they can meet other kids.
And yeah, so I see there's lots of benefits. I just, I'm not a swimmer. Blimey, they're now making lots of noise.
I'm not, I can't. I learned to swim when I was, I think, nine and 10. I had swimming lessons for ages and ages and had to, what are those foam discs that used to be able to just, and you put your hand on it and you just swim or just splash your feet.
I had other armbands and see, if I was still allowed to do that, I'll be fine because I enjoyed it. If I was floating on the water, I mean, how much fun, how, how, how much enjoyment would you get out of going for a bath if you had to swim and, you know, swim to the top of the bath every time and make sure you like had to find a way to float. It wouldn't be fun, would it? It wouldn't be relaxing.
It's relaxing because there's a bottom, it's very shallow and you can just relax. I'm talking about when I used to, when there were baths that were big enough to fit my body. But, you know, I'm just saying generally, it's, I don't find it particularly relaxing.
And I can swim, but I can't, but I can, but I can't. It's one of those weird ones. But I don't.
Next one's cheese. I caught, caught all that cheese. Cheese has been part of my, staple of my diet for my whole life, really.
And I will not discuss it any further. I like cheese. I like the versatility of cheese.
Hitchhiking. Now I've hitchhiked. I didn't like it.
Really. It's, it's better if you're with someone. I, I think personally, I've done it with someone and with a friend a few times.
And when I was younger, everything happened when you were younger. Yeah, I know. But doing it on my own, I've done that as well.
I prefer to do it with someone. I wouldn't want to hitchhike anyway, but when I did, yeah, it was, it was better with someone. Ovens.
It cooks food. Ovens cook food. How can, how can you say that's boring? The next one's books.
Now I'm not as big a bookworm as I used to be in any means. And that's probably more to do with, there's more ways to digest new information than reading a book. When I was a kid, there wasn't, I was reading a book and television and television didn't generally have programs on the things that I was interested in.
Could you all make a bit more noise, please? So reading was kind of my go-to place. When I was into astronomy, I used to watch the sky at night on repeat because it was on too late at night to watch it. And I'd watch Star Trek.
Yeah. So that was my TV learning. But now with the internet and all the different, you know, things you can get hold of, there's just a lot more different resources, DVDs, CDs, and just, you know, courses, online courses.
And sorry about all the noise in the background, the two dogs competing to see who can make the most noise. So Logan is scraping on a bone and Vinnie has got one of his toys and he's just running around with it. Talking about annoying animals, needy animals, goldfish.
That's my next one. Very needy goldfish. Always want your attention.
You shouldn't get a minute's peace with them, but they're not boring. No way. And also you think about it from a goldfish's perspective, if it's true that they don't have the ability to hold onto a memory, then their life is going to be interesting, isn't it? It's like, wow.
There's a castle. Where did the castle come from? Wow. There's a castle.
You know, it's just like, you know, it's got to be interesting. Microphones. Well, if it wasn't for microphones, I wouldn't, well, I'm using a microphone now.
And you think of all the great music in the past and all the great stand-up comedians and great speeches of, you know, world leaders and Malcolm X and JFK talking about going to the moon and Martin Luther King, Gandhi. I'm trying to think. Yeah, I'm just like, just saying among many others, lots of people and also Mother Teresa, but I'm not sure she did many speeches.
I'm not sure. Yeah, but microphones are definitely handy, especially for like speaking, doing public speaking and stuff like that. I guess.
I mean, those tannoy systems are awful, aren't they? You know, when they talk through that little trumpet thing and it just, it's all distorted. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of that. The next one's mops.
How can anyone say mops are boring? Mops are brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I've used a lot of mops over the years.
Wallpaper. Okay. There's a whole thing that always is as interesting as wallpaper.
Who is as interesting as wallpaper or watching paint dry? There's nothing boring about watching paint dry, especially if you're waiting to put another layer on. You're watching it and you're excited because you can put another layer on. So you're waiting for it to dry.
And that's a real sense of adventure and anticipation. It's not boring. And what other ones? Trainspotters.
Now, I started talking about trainspotters years ago and something I admire about trainspotters. I won't say anything bad about them. And the reason why I try not to say anything bad about anyone really, but I genuinely admire anybody that can have a passion and really enjoy themselves.
Whether it's playing a sport, whether it's collecting something, whatever it is. And I think the the cliche or the most kind of common things when I was growing up as far as hobbies that were classed as boring, but collecting things like stamp collecting, coin collecting, and trainspotting. And we used to call well, we used to people used to call those people anoraks.
Well, it makes sense. You wear an anorak because you're outside. Trainspotting.
I used to always think, well, wait, what do you mean trainspotting? Can't you just spot a train? Don't need binoculars for that. They're big, big old things, aren't they? But it's not about that. It's about because I looked into it when I was a bit younger.
Everything happened when you were a bit younger. Shut up. They used to be these books and they had these registration numbers in.
And basically, you just go through the book and try and get as many of the registration numbers and cross them off. And my brother did it for a while, and I think I might have done it with him. And we had a train station.
So we just go to a train station and it's. It's. It is quite addictive, you know, it's like you start something and you want to see it end, you want to see the end and you can't see the end because ultimately you have to go through.
You got to cross off thousands and thousands of trains, maybe. Which could take you around the world, you know, as some people do the same thing for planes, some people do the same thing for ships and boats and ferries, things like that. I mean, I don't know, some people do it for cars, maybe or more for antique cars.
Houses, possibly. Some people get very excited about houses and who lives in them and celebrities houses, which I think it's a little bit too. Too personal, isn't it? Someone lives in a house, doesn't matter who they are, should be left alone.
But that's just my own personal opinion. What have I got? What's is something that I always wanted to be. I don't want to be a train spotter, but I wanted to have that complete.
Fascination and love for doing something. And I think I have found that I've had, I've had that a couple of times. So I've always, I've got that respect because I think, yeah, just because it doesn't interest me.
It is something that's. It's that mentality of. I just think if someone's at work, let's say they're working in an office.
You know, five days a week, doing 39 hours. And no matter how the day is, no matter how the weather is, no matter what problems there are, they're looking forward to Saturday morning, getting up early to go to the train, to go to, I'm going to say it straight, to go to the train station with a cup of coffee, maybe some soup and a flask, some sandwiches, maybe a little chocolate bar. And then they're there, they're meeting their friends who do the same thing.
And it's all a bit more sophisticated now. So I guess it's more, you know, using the Internet and using phones and taking pictures. And maybe I'm sure there's loads of websites where people put their pictures.
And so it's a lot more, more of a social networking thing now, I guess. But that, you know, that's got to be really nice to sort of like, I'm looking, so Wednesday afternoon and you think, yeah, a couple more days and Saturday morning, can't wait to go to bed early Friday night so I can get up early Saturday. Yeah.
Good on you. That's what I think. Games.
I'm not sure what games, that's just games generally. We can't call games boring. I mean, they're not boring, are they? I'm not into games, but you know, games are games.
Beds, beds aren't boring. Beds are the best thing in the world. Hats.
I'm not a hat person. I'm not a hattie. I'm not really into hats.
But, but, but, but, but, but, but they're all right. You know, I did wear a hat once when I was, I don't, I've not only worn a hat once in my life, but because I wore hats when I was a kid and baseball caps and that kind of stuff. I really wore a hat as a kind of fashion statement, if you want to call it that.
Because my oldest brother had a trilby hat. And I wanted to be like him. I was a mini me back then.
And I was probably 15, 16. So I bought myself a trilby. It kept blowing off.
I don't mean farting. It kept blowing off my head. By the way, in England, it's not so much now, but when I was a kid, blowing off used to mean farting.
Oh, he just blew off. Oh, sorry. He keeps blowing off.
Yeah, that's I don't think that terms even used anymore. So if you hear it used wherever you are in the world, and someone says, I keeps blowing off. You remember now that that means farting might make you chuckle.
Or it might not if you're an adult, of course. Jobs, well, you know, jobs, some jobs can be boring, some jobs can be exciting. And I've got so many to go through.
Well, there's baked beans, nothing boring about baked beans. Kind of connects quite well with blowing off painting. Painting.
I'm not a fan of painting. But boy, do I admire people that can. It's phenomenal.
I just never been able to do it. I don't even like the feel of the paintbrush. I don't like it.
So it's not for me. But it's amazing people that have that ability, that artistic ability, you know, lots of respect. Wow, this is weird.
I uploaded something and it's the wrong thing. Stop talking about the stats. It's the right I uploaded the wrong thing.
Wow. Well, doesn't really make any difference. Not many people only 10 people watched it or listened to it.
Doggies. So yeah, well, dogs aren't boring. Really? No.
That comes under more the annoying and beautiful and cute and cuddly. Yeah. Yeah.
Vinnie, Vinnie, Vinnie, Vinnie, Vinnie. Airports. Yeah, to be fair, I did a thing that I did that shortly after having been to an airport.
And yeah, I mean, airports in a way boring. But when you considering why you're there, you're back to well, not everyone's going to get onto a plane because they're going somewhere nice or holiday, but I'd imagine the majority of people are off on holiday. There's going to be a lot of people that using it for work or family business or whatever.
I mean, I remember airports being really you know, when I was younger when I was about 18. He's just jumped up and bitten me on my hand. Not hard, but like trying to force me to play fight with him.
Where's Loki gone? This stupid chair. Honestly, I'm going to chuck it through the window. Where's the dog? Where's the other dog? I don't know where he is.
Oh, he's behind me. Right behind me. I remember airports being cool.
Having stuff like bars and McDonald's and KFC and Burger King and bookshops and just stuff you could do, stuff you could buy to while away the time. But the airports that I went to recently, it's just nothing there. Until you get through the other side, you know, to the other part of the airport where the airport lounges are where you wait for your plane.
And it's just like Heathrow and even in other places. It's just so much. I don't know how to word it.
Not aimed at me. Designer shops, designer perfume, designer clothes, all the kind of stuff that why is it there? Or is it the other side? Anyway, so it's part of the airport is loads of that stuff. It's like, no, no, no, stop it.
And even there was a McDonald's. I don't know if it was Dubai or somewhere. And it was the smallest McDonald's I've seen in my life.
It was no bigger than my home. Really, it was my flat. I'm talking about my actual flat, tiny little thing.
And those people there with wheel, not wheelchairs, with like prams and stuff. And you couldn't get through. It's like, can you leave the baby at home? What are you doing? So yeah, airports are definitely, I think airports are boring to be fair.
So that's one thing I think I would leave on the list that is actually boring airports. I didn't really enjoy being at the airport. A lot of waiting around and I'm just boxing.
See, I've included stuff that I absolutely love. Boxing I love. There's nothing boring about boxing to me.
But I can be boring about it by talking about it. Because if you talk to someone about something that they're not interested in, no matter how interested you are, chances are they're going to be a little bit bored and glassy eyed. The next one is glasses.
So yeah, we need glasses, don't we? Punch bags, nothing boring about punch bags. Shoes, Belgium. Ever since that person told me off for saying bad things about Belgium, I was like, you know, I wasn't really being rude about Belgium.
I loved going there. It was the first country, foreign country I'd ever been to. So it meant a lot to me.
It was exciting. I've been there three times when I was younger and three or four times and yeah. But I guess, you know, I think I said that was a real country.
So no, it's a real country. Blimey. Just say things, you know, not everything has to be taken seriously.
Wooden benches. There's nothing boring about wooden benches. Come on.
Baths. Wow. I can't believe I've spent all that time talking about that.
Comments. Are there any comments? Jason. Oh yeah, I've done that one.
So yeah, this is, this is quite early in the day for me to have done this. So it's 7.30, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3. 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3. Okay. Right.
It's time to eat. I like to be punctual. Stick to a routine.
I got disturbed this morning and like, no, no. I haven't had my breakfast yet. I've got a routine and if I don't stick to the routine, it upsets me.
Well, the routine was completely disrupted. So I ended up having cold breakfast or lukewarm and I only got to eat half of it. It was a ready break, but it's like porridge thing.
And like the milk had cooled down by the time and I'd had it in the microwave. I didn't want to reheat it again. It just doesn't seem like the right thing to do.
So yeah, I don't want to be disturbed when I haven't had my breakfast. Give me time. I need space.
I have routines. I have routines. You know, in the past, no one ever bothered me.
I'd get up when I got up. I'd eat when I ate. I didn't have anyone knocking on my door.
Really hardly ever in any of my previous homes until I moved here. Which, you know, it's all right, but just sometimes I just want, I need to be able to do what I'm doing. If you know what I mean.
If you know what I mean. Yeah, man. You get me? Yeah.
So. Oh, wow. Okay.
That's weird. So dashboard. I've now got 850 subscribers again.
I don't get it. Honestly, I'm just like what? See live content. 850.
This is live subscribers. 849 now it's 850. 848 yesterday.
I can't make heads or foot of it. So yeah, so I've got these little monkeys with me at the moment. Trash in the place, eating everything from off the floor.
And but they've been good. I've taken them outside to go to a toilet. Take them individually because I can't control both at the same time.
The big one tries to escape out of the front door every time. And Vinnie will follow him. If the gates open, someone's left the gate open or someone opens the gate, they'll both run out.
And I just don't want that. I can't have that. So Vinnie's now sitting next to me.
He's leaning against my leg. So he likes to be touching me. You know, so he likes to lean against me.
He does that. Yesterday, he literally had my eyes closed and he crept up on me. And laid down very slowly on my lap.
Almost as if he didn't want me to know he was doing it. So we got I got quite a bit of way to go for him to, I guess, trust me, I suppose, maybe. Got a few trust issues, ain't you? Hey, don't have to though, I ain't going nowhere.
Unfortunately, I wish I was. But no, I'm sticking here with you for a little while. Till we can get somewhere better to live.
A bit of garden. A bit of land for you to run around in. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Or we could maybe find somewhere else to live somewhere, a different country in the future.
Don't have to stay here, do we? No. No, we don't. Yeah, we do.
For now, anyway. Oh, oh, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you. That's weird.
I'll tell you it's 353 in the afternoon. And it's it's now too dark inside to read. All right, you need to go to do a wee.
Okay, all right, mate. I'll take you into the garden in a second. Right, I'm going to go.
OK, I'm coming. I'll speak to you later. Thank you for listening.
Be kind to yourself. Lots of love. Bye.
