Hello and welcome to let me bore you to sleep. Please only listen, squeaky chair, when you can safely close your eyes. I'm sitting here on a Monday.

Yes, Monday afternoon. Well, it's six o'clock in the evening, eight minutes past a sixth. Monday, Monday the 26th of a December.

Vinnie is in his bed, resting, sighing, he's annoyed with me, but it's the first time that he hasn't been hassling me when I make a podcast. Not that I've made huge amounts of podcasts, but he has a tendency of wanting my attention and demanding it and barking and whining and that. But right now, he's really chilled out.

And he should be because we've been out four times today. He's had four walks. First one about half six, then one about half 10, then one about, I don't know, 1.30, then another one about 4.30 or five o'clock or something.

So he's had his fair share of walking today. We even went into the field. He tried to lead me down this little hilly bit that I fell over last week.

I slipped on it. It was just after the, it was the day before I fell down the stairs, funny enough. But on this occasion, I didn't hurt myself.

I had my big coat on and my gloves and everything. I didn't, I basically just bounced back onto me. I didn't bounce back onto my feet, but I didn't roll down the hill like an egg.

But it was very much, you know, all I did is get dirty, got covered in mud. And he tried to lead me down there again. So I think he's a little bit sneaky.

I think he thoroughly enjoyed it, seeing me trip and slip so much because he's seen me slip twice now. And I'm pretty sure as I was laying at the bottom of the stairs on Monday night, looking up at my friend, I put my hand out to please help me up. I'm pretty sure I heard him laughing.

I heard Vinnie giggling. I'm pretty sure. And if I didn't know any better, I think he might have done a big wee on that step that I slipped on.

I can't prove it. But I'm going to have to watch out for him because I think he's a bit of a practical joker. I know he's listening.

I know he's listening. Yep. So yeah, today, day after Christmas.

So thanks to everyone that's left messages on my Facebook page. Let's have a look. Just to re... I haven't been on my iPad since last night.

Oh, I'm banging the desk now. You know. So Kissy, Vinnie looks very handsome.

Oh, this, this, I've already done this. I already did this yesterday, didn't I? Or maybe I didn't. So thanks, Kissy, Diana.

Look forward to more podcasts. Can't join in live as it's the opposite end of the day for me. Have a fab day and I'll carry on with my boxing day.

Yeah, I've not done anything live. I did last year though. So I'm not quite sure how I did it.

I can't remember. Probably the normal Facebook. I don't know if I can, I don't know if I can do it on this page.

On the group grammar. I'm not sure. Mike says Merry Christmas, Jason and Vinnie.

Thank you, Mike. Debbie says a very Merry Christmas to you both. Thank you all.

And Karen, Merry Christmas, Jason and Vinnie. May all good things find you in 2023. Thank you very much.

Leslie Batchel says, Leslie, is this the new family friend, Jason? Sure is a good looker. Best wishes, Leslie. Thanks, Leslie.

Friend is a bit. He's a bit strong. I'm not quite sure what he is at the moment.

I know he's annoying me at times. He's really, really, really annoying me. But what can you do? You know, he's.

It is what it is. He's here now. The thing is, at night, he's so good.

But once he settles down. I don't hear anything from him pretty much all night. And I go to bed early.

You know, even a late night for me is like 11 o'clock now. You know, a year ago, I was up all night. I would go to bed till probably seven in the morning.

And I'd be asleep during the day now. Yeah, I don't quite know why. It's just the way it's worked.

I think maybe. I don't know. I don't know.

But anyway, this is how it is now. It might go back to how it was before. I don't know.

So we've got a few. Hannah. Hannah.

This is Hannah. Hannah. 80 numbers react to.

Oh, OK. So quite a few reactions to my to my picture of what's his name. So thank you anyway.

Thank you for that. Thank you for your lovely messages. Also, I need to say thank you to.

I need to say thank you to Diana for your PayPal gift. Thank you very much. So I need to reply personally as well, but hopefully you'll hear that yesterday.

I did say thank you to Mary, but again, I never know who's listening. So thanks anyway. Thank you very much.

And the the YouTube, not YouTube, but YouTube. I'm still working on making new videos and adding them on there, and I'm kind of. Nearly three quarters of the way through January scheduled with some videos.

And they're they're not like new videos, but there's some of the latest from 2022. And I've kind of been upload. I've been producing videos out of the audio, but nice videos, not just a static page, but visually attractive videos.

And yeah, you'd have to go to YouTube to see what I mean, but it's going OK. It's slow, but it's going OK. It's.

Statistics wise, no, not statistics. Yeah, yeah. I mean, yesterday, 25th, I had 78 views of my videos.

Now I know 78 is not a lot. You know, I'm very aware of that. But until a month, two months ago, I was getting.

Very few. And now I'm up to one and a half thousand views a month again, which I was before before I deleted nearly all of my videos except one and started again. So I used to have all my old videos on there and I was getting roughly about 1500 views a month, which again is not a lot, but it was all the old stuff.

And I've took them all off apart from one video, the the most popular video that I've ever done. So that's still on there. If you want to see what I look like in 2000 and.

To 2011, I think it was once you look like 13 years ago, you can you can see that video. It's what's it called? Try and stay awake hypnosis challenge. Yep.

Dark hair, dark beard. Probably maybe a little cluster of gray hair at the front, but not much. And.

Now it's quite weird because the one above. I look at the little little pictures on the screen, so it's all I can see really the thumbnails, but there's a picture of me in 2011. And then the next one.

It's from July 2022. So, you know, it's pretty much 13 years kind of to the day, really. It's about that time.

And it's just I'm bald and I don't have I've even shaved off my beard. And it just basically looks like a body with a red potato on top. Wearing glasses.

That's what I look like. Well, I can I can open it up. Yeah, I'm completely bald and I got no beard or mustache or anything.

So it's just it is like a potato. Potato and it's the short relaxation hypnosis. It's.

Blimey. The weird thing about it is by. Where is it? August.

Where's August? By. 18th of August, I have a full beard. And hair.

So literally within a month. So from the 18th of July to the 18th of August, I have a full OK, not full head of hair, but I've got hair. And I needed a haircut.

I had a haircut a week later because it was too it was too messy. So within a month, my hair grew back and I had a beard. A proper full beard.

That's all it took. Just a month to become. Hairy again.

He's snoring. Do you think he's showing off? He's pretending to snore. Just just for effect.

I'm sure he's not. So, yeah, that's how the so basically 803 subscribers so far on the YouTube channel. And I've got 113 videos, but a lot of those are scheduled, so not released yet.

But there they will be public. In the coming days and weeks going all the way up to. The 22nd of January.

So I've literally got one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty. One, two, three, this is 30. That's 30.

I can't get rid of that. So 30, one, two, three, four, five, 35 videos are actually uploaded. Scheduled for being released.

So I'm quite ahead, quite ahead with this stuff. So I'm fairly pleased with that. And at the moment, I'm releasing two a day.

I'm also the last two days, not including today, but the last two days I've made videos of my my last two Let Me Boy To Sleep podcasts. So it's just, yeah, it's a little bit it's one of those weird things because such a tiny amount of people actually watching the videos, yet so much work going into it. It's weird, isn't it? It's weird, man.

I should say shout out to my American friends and hope you're all safe during the extreme winter weather that you're having out there. I'm not sure if it's the whole of the country, but I've just seen it on the news. It's really, really serious, serious winter weather and blizzards and things like that.

So I hope you're safe. We had we didn't have a blizzard here. We're not not where I live, but we did have a lot of snow, a lot of ice.

And this is last week. It pretty much had cleared up by Monday. So the previous week, this is last Monday, because I guess it's a week ago now.

It's a week ago that I fell down the stairs. Can you believe it? So that previous week, there was a lot of problems all around the country. News was telling people not to go out if we didn't have to.

And parts of the country get it really bad. They get like all parts of the United Kingdom, let's say so you got Scotland, Wales, they get huge amounts of snow. And any higher places, I guess, with hills and stuff like that.

Here, I mean, it's weird, because where my dad lives, he doesn't live that far away. He didn't get one inch of snow, nothing, no snow at all. There was ice because it was minus like, quite serious.

Very cold compared to what it normally is like. Nothing compared to sort of minus 40 degrees that some people get in other countries. But here it was particularly cold.

It was one of the coldest weeks for years, actually, like continuous every day, minus seven or whatever. So it was weird because my stepsister slipped over and hurt her ankle on the ice. I met with my dad just before Christmas.

No, it was last Sunday. So it's the week before Christmas. And I was and he came and he couldn't believe there was snow on the ground because he didn't, he wasn't prepared for it.

Hadn't seen any where he lives. There was ice because it's been raining and it was freezing cold. And, you know, there's ice on the floor, but there's no snow.

And he came in, it was just snow everywhere. I mean, a lot of it, some of it started to wear off, but a lot of it turned to ice. But it hadn't melted because it was too cold.

On Sunday night or overnight, it started to rain. So it started to get warmer. And the over the, during the Monday, most of the snow is gone by the end of Monday.

And there was one snowman. No, what I saw was one snowman in someone's garden because Vinnie takes me all around all the different roads. He's got a, he's got a play.

He's got his routine. He likes to walk different roads and I'm finding my way around. I do places I've never been before.

And I've lived there for eight years nearly. And he loves, he doesn't, he doesn't want to go in the park. He loves walking on the pavement.

He wants to go in everyone's house, basically. Everyone's front lawn is his. And he's always looking for cats.

He's looking for something. I think sometimes, yeah, I know definitely cats are one of the things on his mind because he tried to get one the other day and he wouldn't let it go. I mean, he didn't get it, but he wouldn't leave off.

If you know what I mean, like once he got in his mind, he wanted to, I don't know what he wants to do with a cat because I don't understand that he's so friendly with dogs, but all dogs hasn't got any fear and he doesn't, doesn't get aggressive at all with dogs. He loves people as well. So why would he have an issue with a cat? I know that we have, you know, there's the cliche of dogs and cats and stuff, but in reality, why, why would a dog that was friendly towards other animals generally, now he wouldn't be friendly towards a mouse or a rat because it's inbuilt in him.

He was bred for that. He was not him, but his breed, Jack Russell's were actually created almost like Frankenstein's monster, created specifically to hunt foxes, which is grim. It's horrible, you know, weird considering he looks like a fox, a little baby fox.

If you saw him coming out of a hole, he probably said this before. I don't know, I'll say it again. If you saw him coming out of a hole in a field on his own and like, you would think probably that he was a fox from a distance, unless you know him.

Obviously, if you know him, if you've seen him, he's like, oh, that's Vinnie. But I'm saying if you didn't, if you hadn't seen him before and he's probably a little bit, the foxes I find are generally a bit skinnier. I've seen a few foxes over the years, but yeah, he's very foxy, very foxy, red and he could be a fox.

He's not, but he was bred to hunt foxes and to be a hunter. And that was his breed. So he's got those instincts in him and he's always on the scent.

He's always like, and he looks and he puts one paw up, like he's found something and he's looking. And it just brings questions to my mind of how much we're like dogs that have been bred about characteristics of humans, because it's almost taboo, isn't it? To think that different types of humans, I say different types, whatever that means, have got different characteristics when we're supposed to pretend that all people are the same, all humans are the same, but not all dogs are the same. All dogs are dogs, we've all got four legs and everything like that, but they have particular skills, they have particular abilities.

Animals, different animals have different abilities, don't they? Different types of, we look at cats, you know, big cats and you've got tiny little cats, still the same species, a lion and a kitten, a little domestic cat, it's the same species. Biologically, they're the same, aren't they? I don't know if it's true, I'm making it up, I'm guessing, but biologically, there's no difference of physically, you know, size-wise and what they've learned and how they, you know, the conditioning of being able to do certain things that a normal domestic cat wouldn't be able to do.

I don't know if you could put a domestic cat and just chuck that into a lion's territory, wherever a lion lives, and just let it sort of do its own thing, would it survive?

I don't know how many, how many zebras a little kitten could catch, I don't know, but they also have small cats as well, don't they? In the same territory as the big cats.

Now, I remember someone said once, if humans came from gorillas and from monkeys, why are they still monkeys? You know, my answer to that is, I don't know, I don't care, why are you asking me? I only found out what a continent was six years ago, no, no, consonant, sorry, not continent, consonant, incontinent, inconsistent, inconsistent, one of those words, girlfriend, I'm gonna tell your boyfriend, tell him exactly what you're doing, yeah, tell him what you did to me, that went on too long, didn't it?

Or maybe not long enough, well, you're gonna have to tell him, he'll only be a girlfriend of mine, oh, I used to be able to sing that, like properly, properly sing it, like girlfriend, like that, but maybe not so much these days, I think I'm gonna have to cancel my food delivery tomorrow, because I can't pick it up, but it's getting delivered, so you don't have to pick it up, do you?

Well, yes, I'm talking physically, bending over and picking it up, I just don't think I can do it, it's, and you might, oh, you gotta pick it up for, let me explain, because you might not know this, it might be different in your country to what it's like here, and it might be different in different parts of your country, and it all depends on where you get deliveries from, but carrier bags, when you get a delivery, generally, I'm going to say generally, because it's not every case, generally, if you order online, your groceries, so you

order with a supermarket, now, I don't know if it's every supermarket, because I've not used every supermarket, but I have used two, at least two, maybe three, yeah, I think I've used three, and so, and they, the stuff comes in crates, no carrier bags, so I have to take this stuff out of the crates and put it into carrier bags, and then, then put, you know, take it into my, into my, into my home.

Now, what normally happens is, I get a knock at the door when the delivery's here, and I open the door, and there's a stack of crates right in front of my door. There's no room to manoeuvre to actually put the stuff into bags, so what I have to do is push the crates out into the hallway, take the big bag of bags into the hallway, and then just take each bag out and fill it individually with stuff.

Now, it's not too bad when the crates are quite high, and it's maybe chest level, and there's no bending involved, but a lot of the time, it's brought up to a time, so I'm ending up bending, and normally, on a, just like a normal time, when I don't have a, when I don't have a fractured back, it can cause problems because of my arthritis in my lower back, so it can hurt a bit, and depending, if I've got a small delivery, I'm generally okay, but sometimes, I feel a bit pressured to move quickly, because they're

just watching and waiting for me to hurry up, and so they can get on to the next delivery, and sometimes, I do feel a little bit, like I've overdone things with my back.

Now, I can lift exactly the same amount of weight as I could before, or maybe I can't, I don't know, but you know, generally, it's not, my lower back doesn't stop me from lifting things, it just means it hurts. Sometimes, when I lift things, but very often, afterwards, there's more afterwards than during.

Sometimes, it's during, if it's a particularly heavy thing, so if I was to move a washing machine with help, I couldn't do it on my own, it would be, yeah, I'd feel it, but to be fair, a washing machine, lifting a washing machine, it's basically compressing your spine, isn't it? It's so heavy, so heavy. I'll have a drink, my throat's getting dry. Sometimes, if I get a particularly large delivery, I'll ask my friend to come and help me, to put it into bags, because it's just too much for me, on my own.

Yeah, it's just too much, so I sometimes will ask my friend if he'll come and help me, and just to put stuff in bags, that's all. Once the thing's in bags, it's all right, I can take my time, but if it's a particularly large, let's say I've completely run out of everything, then sometimes I need to just get, it's too much, too much stuff, so I'll get a little bit of help. But I ordered a delivery before Christmas, and I managed to get a delivery for tomorrow, the 27th, or was it the 28th? I think it's tomorrow, but I think I'm going to cancel it, because I don't think I'm really up for sort of the bending over and stuff, a bit too much.

Bending over, one thing, so I have to pick his poo up when I take him for a walk. Not my friend, I'm talking about Vinnie, and not the delivery driver, I'm talking about Vinnie. The thing is, I can kind of crouch down a bit, and sort of keep my back straight.

To be fair, it probably looks like I'm about to do a poo on the grass as well, to pass him by, but I can pick it up, and it's not heavy, you know, to be fair, poo isn't generally that heavy. I've not done a survey, I've not tested the weights of different poos from different dogs, but I got, you know, my friend's got a large dog, and I do pick his poo up sometimes, and it's about five times bigger than this one's, and so that's okay, I do that, because, yeah, it's the right thing to do, so I'll do that. It's the legal thing to do as well, isn't it? Picking up poo.

Ouch. And that's one thing, but if I was picking up something that had any kind of weight, even something as light as a bag of sugar, or I think it would be just potentially causing me pain, and having to do it over and over again, like 30, 40, 50 times, keep bending over, picking another thing up, and whatever, yeah, probably, yeah, possibly not ideal, and I haven't been eating very much, so I've still got quite a bit of stuff in the freezer from my last delivery, quite a lot of stuff, and apart from milk, I've pretty much got enough of everything I need for at least another week, so I'm pretty much okay.

But saying that about the carrier bags, because everything used to come in carrier bags, which is brilliant, you just take the carrier bags out, put them on the floor, and then that was it.

It took probably less than a minute, maybe two minutes, and it was done, the delivery was done. So, but you know, with the carrier bags being stopped, they still sell them in the supermarket, but they don't supply them. I mean, they used to charge, it's not like they gave them away for free.

It's a shame, because I'd happily give them the carrier bags back the following week, if that was an issue, you know, I'd give them the carrier bags back the following week, and pay, I'll pay an extra couple of pounds just to have them in bags, because it's just easier on my back, easier on my back. I remember I told one of the drivers that delivered people, I can't really carry stuff up the stairs, I can't really help. What did I say? Oh yes, you have to bear with me, because I've got a bad back.

And he started telling me about how bad his back was, and it's way worse than mine. Not just what he was saying, but the description, and he'd like had metal rods in his back, and all kinds of stuff like that. I started feeling guilty.

I was like, oh, I started feeling guilty that he'd carried the stuff upstairs, but that is his job. Not, not he should do it, because it's his job, but he's, but why has he got a job doing that if he's got a bad back? That's awful. That's just, oh, I mean, maybe it's, I mean, with the arthritis, I've been told to exercise.

Almost, it's the opposite to what you want to do. Lifting weights is the opposite to what I want to do with the back, but it helps. Walking, walking regularly helps my lower back.

So I do those things every day, because it helps. I think that walking, this little munchkin over there, is helping my, my back as well, my fracture. It's like gentle movement.

I'm walking slowly, but that, I'm not stuck sitting or lying down, apart from at night when I'm sort of asleep and that. I'm not staying in one position for many, many, many hours at a time. So I am, I've got movement happening.

So I guess that's, perhaps that's healthy for the healing of my back. I'm not putting any pressure on it. I'm not lifting any weights.

I'm being careful. I have to be careful because it's really painful at times, but I kind of get a sense that, well, to be fair, it doesn't hurt much when I walk, unless I twist. It hurts when I twist and I can't do handstands at the moment.

Head spins right off, off the menu completely. But I can do, I could semi do the splits, which is weird because I couldn't do that before. So I think I just have to be careful.

I have to be really careful. I mean, I can now play the piano. I mean, it's amazing how things change, isn't it? Just a simple falling down the stairs and suddenly I've got a potential musical career ahead of me.

So yeah, YouTube's going on, right? What, you want to know about the stats for the podcasts? It's the last thing anybody wants to know. Well, I won't say anything. All I say is thank you to those that are listening, because I've got as many downloads today as I had yesterday, and it's like half past six.

So there's literally six and a half hours left of the day before I get to the end, because it ends at one. So I've got as many downloads as I had yesterday for the whole day, and there's still six and a half hours left. I don't know why.

I really don't know why, but I'm grateful. So thank you. Whoever's listening, thank you for listening, because to be fair, that's why I do this.

Hoping, hopey, hopey, hope, hope that somebody, somewhere, somebody, somewhere is listening and benefiting from these things that I do. Hopefully, you never know. There might be somebody somewhere.

So yeah, so that's kind of what I'm doing. I'm going to continue doing this. I do want to do a deep sleep whisper ASMR thing, but I need to set up, I need a different setup for that.

I've got all the equipment. I just need to basically clear the desk opposite me, because you know, I like to have every, every flat surface completely covered in junk. That's just the way it is.

It's something that I love to do, doing, to do doing. And I'm going to set up my 3DO, is it 3DO? Yeah, 3DO ear ASMR microphone. I've got a desk microphone stand, which I'm going to put it on.

I've also got a, where is it? It's down there somewhere. Where is it? I've got it in a bag. Let me get it out.

I've not used it yet. It is a Zoom, a Zoom H8. So the recording studio I've got is a Zoom.

This is a Zoom H8 and it's, it's more portable. It's smaller than the one there. It's got enough for four microphones, I think.

Is it four microphones? I'm not sure. I'm a little bit confused actually. But I only need it for the, I need it for two microphones because I've got each side of the, the, yeah, each ear has a different microphone.

So I need to get this set up. I need to play around with it so that it sounds good. And I'll start doing the whisper recordings just with that and not anything else.

So not with this microphone, not sitting in this chair either. I'll be sitting on the other side of the desk, the other side of the table probably because there's two tables parallel to each other. And then I've got my other table, which I inherited from my Nan, which is a small dinner table really.

It's not big, it's quite small. And it's got four sides because it's a square, but you couldn't really, you could fit comfortably two people eating there at it. You could have four people, but you're going to be tucked, you know what I mean? It's, it's, it's very comfortable.

It's very, very, very, very close to each other if you do that. It'd be okay for four children probably, but four adults, I don't know, depends how big the plates were. Yeah, it depends.

Not really enough room to have a drink as well on, you know, not enough space really, but I use it for eating on. So if I had a cooked dinner, I sit on that table. I also use it for laptop work.

So sounds so much like lap dancing, laptop, lap, my lap dancing work, my laptop work. So building videos, editing, things like that. That's where my laptop is.

And that's where I do that. And I just got the chair that came with the, with the table. There was two chairs, two chairs, two chairs.

I think there was two chairs. Yeah. Two chairs.

I don't know where the other one is. So one's there and that's what I do. That's where I sit when I do the work on the laptop.

I've got the iPad here. That's just what I use when I'm doing a podcast. I also use this iPad to upload recordings as well.

So I use this iPad. So when I've, I use this to edit at the moment, edit the audio recordings, but I'm planning to go back to using Adobe Audition. But at the moment I'm using software on the Apple, on the iPad.

And so I'm doing that. And then I also upload using the iPad and I upload using my phone. So I use both at the same time.

And then when it's all uploaded, I go back to my laptop and I've made an image for the i, for the podcast. And I change the image for each podcast episode, change the title or make sure the title is correct, publish each one or schedule it, you know, for an hour between each one. So if I upload one at 10, the next one, the one with music would be 11.

The five hour one will be midnight. And then the 10 hour one would be one o'clock in the morning. So it's kind of, that's how I kind of do it.

And so I'm kind of using all three of using the phone, the iPad and the laptop, all for different things. Uh, so it's all, you know, sometimes at the same time. So yeah, it's just weird.

It's just, it's just the way it is. So I've got the other desk. I want to clear that off and I want to get this Zoom that I've got the H8.

I've no idea how to use it, but I bought it a couple of months ago with the plan of using it for potentially for traveling. If I ever get a chance to travel again, but now I've got a little monkey head over there. I'm not sure if I'm ever going to get a chance to travel.

I hope so. But we'll see. We'll see.

Maybe take him with me. He has the ability to be a good boy. Maybe he's staring right at me, staring at me.

Oh, my back's hurting. This chair, I bought this chair a couple of years ago, I think, maybe last year. And it's supposed to be a gamer's chair and it's uncomfortable.

Really, it's, and I've got my friend gaming in this chair and it's well padded. It's really nice and it's very comfortable. A bit squeaky, but hey, listen to this one.

I realize it's not the chair. It's potentially, I might have a squeaky bum. I think.

No, he's just, he's come out of his little funk. He's been sleeping. Now he's awake again.

He's come to see me. I hope he's not going to hassle me by making weird noises. He purrs like a cat, which is strange.

You all right, mate? You okay? Good boy. You're not, but where you are, he's quite good. I think it's just boring for him because he's here with, let's be generous, a middle-aged man.

And he'd have much more fun if he had, if he was in a family with a bunch of kids and they had their friends coming around and he could get excited and run around and, you know, play football with the kids and, you know what I mean? He'd love that. But instead he's stuck with some old man and I don't do anything much of excitement for him. So, you know, I'm sitting here, I'm making recordings, I'm working on a laptop, working on the iPad, editing, all that stuff, making videos.

And then perhaps I'll watch a movie, watch a bit of telly and get some sleep and eat, you know, that's kind of my day. The only interesting part of the day for him is either winding me up, which I think he enjoys, or when I take him for a walk. So he gets out three or four times, so he's now starting to whine.

Now, he's been asleep, so he probably doesn't realise it's only been maybe an hour and a half since we were last outside. Hey, you all right mate? What's going on? You all right? I don't know how to teach him that when I'm doing this, I guess he thinks I'm talking to him, doesn't he? Because there's no one else here. He doesn't realise what I'm doing, but there you go, no one, no one I know just kind of really gets what I'm doing.

It's just a hobby. It's just a hobby. And yep, what was I going to do? Oh yeah, so um, it's got to be weird for him.

It's now three weeks and two days since he's been here. Is it three weeks or two weeks? Is it two weeks? Really? Really? You think that's acceptable? Go on, do it again. He started barking.

I will edit that out by the way. And I said that yesterday and the day before, and I just made it a lot, a lot quieter. But this later in the recording, I'll edit it.

See, the collar's supposed to give him a warning by bleeping and then vibrating, but it doesn't seem to be working. Or it's, it's very, being very patient with him. It's flashing though, so it's, he's begging.

He's got both his hands out. What do you want? I'll give you a treat. I'll give you a treat if you want.

I'll give you a treat. Of course you can have a treat. You've been a good boy for the last hour and another 23 to go.

There you go. Good boy. Here you go, it's a little treat.

You could try eating your dinner. Have you thought about that? Maybe eating your actual food that's there for you. He's not short of eating.

I mean, he's done three poos today. Three. Count it.

One, two, three. He did two in the same walk. And then he did another one just now.

Three poos. Now, you might be thinking, why am I going on about how many poos he's done? And you might also think, well, why, why would, why are you telling us? Why, we don't want to know about his backside adventures. Oh God, that sounds like a, that sounds like a film title.

And he, he, that was one of the blockbuster, the areas of blockbusters that you only get to visit in the afternoon when there's no one else around back in the day. I, no, I, so I was going back. Where was I talking about? Yeah, no, it's just because he normally does one light in the morning and one in the evening.

Sometimes he only does one poo, but normally does one in the evening, one in the morning. He's a good boy. You know, he's, he's, he doesn't do anything in the house.

He's, he's a good boy, but he's a bit of a beggar. He's pretty much like all, every dog I kind of knows. They just want to eat.

They want treats. They want food. Well, the problem is because I haven't had him since he's been a baby and he's nine months old when I got him, there's a lot of, he's got some habits that are, or he's been taught certain things.

It looks like he's been taught to beg. He gets a treat if he begs. One more.

No. What? It's weird though, because when he's doing this, he's like, he's like moving his head from side to side. I think you're on that one, wasn't it? But it's a little bit like, he's a little spoiled brat and he doesn't get treats for nothing, do you? I don't know.

I'm not quite sure what to do with him because he's a, he's a good boy. You know, he's, he likes to play. Whoa, that was loud.

Well, that vibrating collar is not working. That's for sure. It hasn't vibrated once and he's been barking quite a few times.

So I'm going to have to figure out how to use it. What? Well, I better go because the little chap here has decided to take over again. So happy Boxing Day if you're celebrating Boxing Day and I better give him a treat.

So I will speak to you tomorrow. So thanks for listening. So I put my hand near him and he runs away.

So he doesn't want me. What? Give me, give me cuddles. Give me cuddles.

Cat cuddles. Daddy cuddles. Daddy kisses.

Oh, the loft. There's noise in the loft and he's looking up at it. He knows exactly where it's coming from.

I wish I could let him up there but it'd be carnage. It just, it's like a zoo up there. He wouldn't, he'd just be, what? Anyway, I'm going to go.

Take care of yourselves. Remember to be kind to yourself. You deserve to be happy.

Lots of love. Bye.
