Welcome to let me bore you to sleep. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. Now, my name... I always feel like saying, I feel like I should say Michael Caine for some reason.

My name is Michael Caine. My name is Jason Newland. And... My website is jasonnewland.com So hey, how are you getting on? How are you doing? Are you alright? That's nice.

Um, yep. This is number... What number is it? Because... I think it's quite a... Quite a... What is it? Let's have a look. 800 and something.

Yeah, that's what I thought. 832. This is number 832.

Wow. 832. 8... That's quite a few hours, isn't it? Quite a few hours.

Of chit-chat. Chi-chi-chat-chat. Chi-chi-chat-chat.

It's, yeah, it's quite a long time. It's kind of amazing, really, how quickly... I say quickly, I mean, I've been doing this... This podcast for... What was it? 2018? I started this... I think, something like that. I can't remember.

I can tell you exactly, if I just... How do I do that? We don't care, Jason! I know, but... I do. Oh, do-do-do-do. Erm... Let me... Number one.

Oh. Oh, wow! Wow! Number one, let me bore you to sleep. This is the very first recording.

Jason Newland. 27th of March, 2018. Blimey! So it is over four years now.

Where the heck does time go? Apart from... Very quickly. Four years! Molly! Molly, it's been four years! Wow, four years. That's just this podcast.

And other podcasts have been going even longer. This is one of my newest podcasts. As far as... Like, regularly making recordings.

There's some newer ones, where... I've pretty much done nothing on them. I hear there's the boring... Boring, not boring stories, boring objects. Yeah, I might have to do something about that.

That gets... So the Boring Objects podcast... They actually... The episodes get listened to, when I put them on other podcasts. So people do listen. But on the actual Boring Objects podcast... Nobody listens, on the actual podcast itself.

Same as the Bedtime Storytime. Gets listened to, when I put it on other podcasts. But not on the actual podcast itself.

I find that kind of... Well, first of all, is there any point in having a podcast on its own? But I think there is. In the long term, maybe. I mean... They might start to get a bit of... Traction in a few years.

You never know, dear. You never know. Perhaps if I mentioned that the podcast has a podcast of its own.

A podcast of its own... That's almost nonsensical. Yeah. So, yeah.

The day before yesterday... I purchased... A thing called... The Big Cheese... Ultra Power... Pest Repeller. Guaranteed to repel rodent pests. Scientifically tested and proven.

So, I bought this thing. It's like an ultrasonic sound thing. Yeah.

Plugged it in. Followed all the instructions. Put it in the kitchen.

It's a nice little area in the kitchen on the counter. It's not near anything. In fact, that's one of the places where the mouse used to run, occasionally.

Because I have this occasional mouse. Pops in. The kitchen.

Well, for... This was... Monday. I got it. And every time I went in the kitchen... I just had this real... I'd look over at this thing and think... Yeah.

Yeah. I've won the war. It's like... It's just... It looks... It's a chunky bit of thing.

It's not a tiny little thing. It's not big. I mean, I can't sit on it... Without causing damage.

But, you know, it's a considerable... You know. I feel like I... It was a box. I feel like I got something for my money.

And... Well. Walked in the kitchen last night. Yeah, it went straight out.

Saw a little mouse running. Right from behind the cooker. Because I was cooking a pizza.

I'm guessing I attracted the mouse with the smell of the oven or whatever. I don't know. And why was it behind the cooker? I mean, the cooker is, like, on.

You'd think that you'd want to keep away from something that was that hot. Man. So, yeah.

So that was that. So, I don't know. I have to look at another way of... This is ridiculous.

I guess some more... I just have to try and fill in some more of the gaps. If I can. But that... Ultra power.

Big cheese. The big cheese. Ultra power.

Pest repeller. Guaranteed to repel rodents. And pests.

It's... Rubbish. It's a bit rubbish. So, yeah.

I'll just see. I mean, it might be doing its job, but... I don't see the mice very often, if I'm honest. I only see one at a time.

I've got a little trap down. And I've caught a few over the years. But... I don't get it as bad as other places in the building.

I've been fortunate. But they are kind of just in the building. It's... It's almost the building needs... I think the building needs fumigating.

I think the whole village needs fumigating. But... The whole town, in fact. In fact, the whole country.

So, that was a bit... A little bit dis... A little bit disappointing. Just tinily. What other things did I do yesterday? I'm trying to think.

Yesterday... All my troubles seemed so far away. Now it seems as though they're here to stay. I can't... Oh, yeah.

I don't feel... I want to just talk about... I had another weird turn last night. And I ended up having to walk. Went out for a big, big long walk.

It's... It's weird. I'm not talking about this. Because I want sympathy.

And I'm not interested in anything. Just... I was... I'm just being factual, really. It's about... Half ten, eleven.

Just before eleven, something like that. And... Yeah, it was basically like a panic attack thing. Doesn't feel like it.

But then I had this... I had a feeling that was very familiar. That I've not felt for a long, long, long time. And... I thought I'd just go for a walk.

Go for a long walk. And I did. I walked in the park.

And I started crying. And as I'm not looking for sympathy. I'm just being factual.

It's a factual thing. I'm not really a crier. I started crying.

Two things. First, I was just like... Because... This is something I went through in 2002. To 2000.

And... Probably about like two years. Of... Continuous panic attacks. It was like that.

And... Although I had the occasional thing. And I do. You know.

I really thought it was well, well behind me. I really did. And... I... I don't know what was going on.

It seems really... It seemed to have started when I visited my dad. Well, not visited him. But went to his town and stayed in that hotel.

And... Kind of... Yeah. So that was... That wasn't long ago. That was only two months ago.

And during... Going up to London on this course. And... Without thinking about it. I'm just trying to think.

Without like really pinpointing. But I was walking through the field. And I started thinking.

I don't want to do this again. I don't want to go through that. That was one of the... As an adult.

Yeah. Pretty much the worst experience of my life. As an adult.

As far as... Not being able to... Feeling like I didn't have control. And I lost pretty much everything. You know.

Due to it. Job and everything like that. Which meant a lot to me at the time.

So yeah. And then I ended up getting in debt. And I ended up bankrupt.

Because I got in debt. Because I was... Too proud. I didn't want to... I was trying to live off my own money.

While I was... Unwell. Because I had to leave my job. This is a bit down.

You're bringing me down darling. Sorry. I'll shut up.

I'm just trying to be honest. And... Perhaps I should put this as a title. Warning contains honesty.

But yeah. It's fine. It's just what I've got to deal with.

And I've got to work through it. But... And then I started... And I was walking. And I started thinking about Andre.

And it made me cry even more. And... I was snotting everywhere. It was horrible.

Wow. And I just... I'm glad there was no one else around. There rarely is at that time really.

At night once it's dark. There's not many people around. Well really.

Parks aren't really a place to walk around at night are they? When it's dark. I must have looked like some kind of weirdo. Just pacing around the park.

But... That's what I needed to do. And then I went for a long walk. All the way up.

Down this road. And then back. So I got home.

Just before 12. About 10 to 12. Something like that.

So I was out for... A good 50 minutes. An hour. And I did feel... You know.

Kind of better. Not emotional. So I got back.

And I sat down. And I thought I'd watch some telly. But I couldn't.

I just went to bed. Didn't want to do anything else. Just wanted to go to bed.

And then I got up. I must have... I must have fallen asleep. Almost instantly.

Because normally I'm a bit of a tosser. And turner. And hooch.

Sorry. Turner and hooch. And... Was that Tom? It was wasn't it? Tom Hanks.

But... Last night. Bang. Gone.

Completely. I thought I laid on my left. Then I laid on my right.

That's all I remember. So I must have... What do they say back here? I must have puckered myself out. Or tuckered myself out.

Yeah. It was weird. So yeah.

It's something I need to just... Figure out. I don't know how. I mean... That's probably... In reality.

The biggest reason I do what I do. Is why I started this free... Podcast or free... Hypnosis... Stuff that I do. You know back in 2006.

Because I'd been through that. And by 2006 I was in a... A fairly good place really. That... From that perspective.

So... Helping people. I mean I know my focus. At the very beginning was.

I wanted to help people with chronic pain. But when I was doing the group sessions with people. For stress relief or for relaxation.

You know I kind of realised. That I could help people with that. And I've got the... I see I don't know.

I've got the... Something. That seems to work. Something.

Not quite sure. What. What it is.

I have. I like to... I like to think. I like to think.

That it's more. More. Than just a boring voice.

A boring voice. I like to think that. But it may not be anything more than that.

That might be it. That might be all there is. Just a boring boring tedious voice.

I did say this to someone once. Do you think that. People get relaxed.

Because I got just. And I was I guess. Maybe I was looking for compliments.

A little bit. And I said. Maybe it's just my boring voice.

And they said no. It's also your boring personality. I was like.

Okay thanks. Thanks. That's why you relax people.

Because you are boring. In reality. You know.

My blogs. Vlogs whatever you want to call them. Jason chats.

I've been doing for over a decade. I do the occasional video. On YouTube and stuff.

I've made hundreds of them. But I've only. There's only a few.

Available on YouTube. And. What was the point in that? I want to brag about how many.

I want to brag about how many I've done. I'm not bragging. I'm just saying I've done loads.

But just they're not available. So if you go on YouTube. You'll only find the latest ones.

I don't know why. I don't know why I took them off. Why do I take anything off? There was a reason for me.

Mentioning this. And I can't remember what the reason was. What was the reason? Jason chats.

It's like a vlog. You say. Yeah.

Yeah I can't remember why. I was mentioning it. Oh yeah I remember now.

So a couple of people. Said to me. Or you know posted comments.

On YouTube saying. Your vlogs are so boring. They send me to sleep.

But not in a bad way. Another one said. I'm not being rude.

But you're so boring. When you talk about your life. I can't keep my eyes open.

Not being rude. What is that if not rude? You walk up to someone. Right.

At a party. Okay. And you say.

I was talking to you about. I don't remember if I was talking to you about. Half hour ago.

Half hour ago I remember. I just got to say. You are the most boring person.

I could hardly keep my eyes open. Are they going to say to you. Well thanks for that.

That's the greatest compliment. I've ever had in my life. Go home feeling wonderful are they? No.

It's an insult. Calling someone. Boring.

I mean this is the days before. The let me bore you to sleep. Podcast.

You know someone. Complained. Not complained.

It's this bloke did a review. A few years ago of this podcast. In its early days.

And he said. I'm trying to. I was trying to copy.

The man. Someone does a. Bored to sleep. Bored to sleep.

Something like that. I didn't know. Genuinely didn't know.

I mean. When I made the podcast. I didn't know someone else was doing.

Like. I'm not the only one. That does boring stuff.

It's not a huge amount. But there's you know. There's others.

I didn't know. I mean you know I'm not. I'm not the biggest person for.

Doing research. I mean I might check that. No one's got the same name.

But that'd be it. Because I don't have a podcast. The same name as anyone else.

It's like you know. When I started YouTube. When I started making videos.

On YouTube. I genuinely didn't know. That anybody else.

That there were any other hypnotists. On YouTube. Because I was already doing it.

On MySpace. I was making videos on MySpace. And posting them.

So all YouTube was. A different or a new place. Another.

Place for me to post my videos. To upload my videos. It was nothing special.

Wasn't no big deal. I mean this is before it became. You know popular.

Like popular. Well. You know the big.

Thing is it's not a big deal anymore. It's just almost part of. Society isn't it YouTube.

It's. It's. It's almost like the trees.

In the garden. So. Or the smell in the bathroom.

So I. I remember this is. I'm not I'm not even joking. This is weird right.

I watched a video. And there was a bald man. Sitting in front of a bookcase.

At a desk. I think it was black and white. And it's exactly the same set up as mine.

And I thought. I don't remember doing that. It wasn't me.

It was someone else. I mistook someone else for me. And I realized they look nothing like me.

But they had a bookcase behind them. So for some reason it must have been me. And for some reason I thought I was the only one doing it.

I didn't know other people were making. Hypnosis podcasts or videos. There didn't seem to be anyone doing it on my space.

I was seen to be the only one. Probably wasn't. But I thought I was.

Just like when I started the boring podcast. This thing. I didn't know that other people were doing it.

I mean we're talking like a tiny. Tiny amount of people. Really.

Like in the great scheme of things. And you know not all of those podcasts. That are listed under the.

Boring podcast. Fall asleep category. Are even.

Doing it for that reason. I mean some people. Are actually making podcasts.

About an interest of theirs. They're not doing it to bore people. They're doing it.

Because they're passionate about that subject. I mean. I'm sure one was.

One podcast recommended was. I think it was like a BBC lecturer. On.

History or something. Well. That person.

Probably doesn't think. That they're boring. Yet you're recommending.

Listening to that to fall asleep. A little bit rude. Imagine that.

You've worked your whole life. You've got. Degree after degree.

You know. All those. Essays and dissertations.

And exams. And you know. You get your.

Your masters. And then you get your. Whatever your.

Doctor ship. You know PhD. And then you become a professor.

You become a professor. And you work. In a university.

And you know. You visit tenure or whatever. So you know.

Everything's going really well. It's taken you. And you get asked.

If you'd like to. If it's okay to record. Your lectures.

That you do. So that you can then. They can be shared with people.

That are unable to. Get to college for whatever reason. And you say yeah.

Because you want to help. You've devoted your life to history. You know to study in the subject.

You love it. You realize the importance. Of.

You know. To learn from history. So we don't make the same mistakes again.

You know sometimes. You know to go forward. You need to know where you've been.

Before you can you know. Go. Forward.

I think it was a sentence there. That made sense in my head. And you say yeah.

And then you're at home. Nervous that I'm going to be recorded. Doing my.

Lectures. In my history class. And then you think.

But think about all the people. That are going to benefit. All the people that are going to be.

Sitting at home. Listening and learning. And on the edge of their seats.

You know with anticipation of. What I'm going to say next. Think of all the.

Stimulation I'm going to provide for people. All the excitement in their life. They're going to get.

From listening to me talking about history. The history of. Roman eggs.

This is going to be great. So you start to get excited. And you think I know what I do.

This isn't going to be recorded till after the summer. So I'm going to spend the. Entire summer.

Studying. And trying to. Put together a script.

I'm going to do the. Bestest course I've ever done. This course is going to be the most exciting.

Dynamic. Interesting. Oh it's going to be invigorating.

So I'm going to devote those whole summer holidays. To working on this. So in September.

When I go back to university. I'll be like a new man. I'm going to be.

I'll be completely. Re-energized and. Full of.

Confidence and. Vitality is going to be. And I'll be presenting this.

This material which is. People are going to just be. Blown away.

With excitement. And then they can record that. And people will be listening at home.

They'll have to walk around. Because they'll be so excited. And they'll probably feel really good about themselves.

It goes well. It gives a great lecture. Gets recorded.

Gets told that it's really good. And everyone's happy. He feels good about himself.

Feels good about himself. Three months later. He's at home.

Having a bit of trouble sleeping. He thinks to himself. Perhaps I'll try out those.

Newfangled podcasts. I've heard about them. I wonder if they have any.

To help people to sleep. And he said. I'll Google it.

Or I'll Yahoo it. I'll Google it. Google's.

Sleeping podcasts. And it has a few little categories. Nature sounds.

That's OK. I don't know how many crickets I can listen to. Bambi.

Farting. I don't know what kind of nature sounds are there. Elephants rolling around.

So he said. I don't know about that. And the next category.

Classical music. I like classical music. But.

I'm not really in the mood. For listening to music. Boring podcasts.

Oh. Wow. Blimey.

Imagine. And he's sitting there. He's thinking.

Imagine making a podcast. Of something that you're interested in. And then people are listening to it.

To be bored. He chuckles to himself. As he thinks about that preposterous idea.

And he clicks on the link. The boring podcast link. And then he sees the first few podcasts.

On the page. There's. There's a few.

So he has to scroll down. Scroll down. But he's looking at the ones that are on the page.

At the moment. And there's one about. Train spotting.

And he starts laughing to himself. He says. Oh.

That poor soul. They probably absolutely. Obsessed with trains.

And love trains. And think that they're making this podcast. For train spotting.

Enthusiasts. Imagine how devastated they'd feel. If they came across this under.

Category of boring podcasts. To send you to sleep. I must be devastating.

I wonder what other ones are available. He scrolls down and sees his own podcast. The introduction to history.

Lectures. By Professor Newland. Can you imagine? Just wow.

His life's work. It's just. Some people might find it funny.

But I can't imagine everyone would. I mean. You know if I wrote a book.

About my life. Even though. You know in the past.

I've called myself boring. Many times. I still wouldn't want people to say.

That was a boring book. Unless. I intentionally.

Wrote it to be boring. Because ultimately. They're saying.

What a tedious life you've had. Which would be correct in some ways. But.

I like to think if I wrote a book. About my life. I'd try and make it.

A little bit interesting. A little bit. I don't know quirky.

A little bit. A little bit this. A little bit that you know.

Wouldn't. Really want to hear. That it was.

Boring. Because I don't think. I'm always boring.

Otherwise no one would ever talk to me. Would they? If I was like seriously. Always tedious.

Repetitive. Tedious. Repetitive.

You know if I. Just. Constantly said. The same thing.

Over and over again. In real life. As opposed to on a podcast.

People would run in the. Opposite direction. Whenever I. Approached.

Wouldn't they? That would explain why I never see. Anybody in the street. I forgot about that.

It is me talking about. Walking through the park. There's no one there.

At night. There's no one there. In the daytime.

Even when I walk through there. I forgot about that. Yeah.

Oh. Maybe I'm not as excited. As I thought I was.

Once upon a time. Once upon a time. I got a letter.

From the council. Or the company. That council use.

To check the boiler. And I literally. Oh.

We're coming around. They don't even put my name. This is how useless.

Well not useless. But how. Not what the right word is.

Uninterested. Or. I don't know what the right word is.

But they don't even put my name. They just put the occupant. And then the address.

Now. When I get a letter like that. I normally chuck it in the bin.

Because. It's normally just crap. I can advert.

Advertising. Junk mail. Now I opened it.

As I said normally. Quite often. I don't even open it.

I chuck it away. Because if they're not. If they're not.

Able to put my name. On the letter. Then it's not for me.

It's only for me if it's. Like well. Put it through your letter box.

It's for you. Yeah. I mean.

Yeah. But most things. That don't have my name on.

Are just junk mail. I've opened too many of those. In my life.

As I'm sure you have. But I opened it. And it was an appointment.

They're coming round. To check the boiler. This week.

They've literally given me. Two days notice. Three days notice.

Two days notice. Three days notice. Three days notice.

So it came yesterday. I was like what the heck. How rude.

And not only that. I've got to stay in for five hours. You know like.

We'll be here between. Like eleven and five. Or something like.

Really. I've got to stay in the whole day. Just.

For you. To come and check the boiler. I don't know.

It's just. Mildly. Niggles me.

That's all I'm saying. It mildly. Niggles me.

That they are. Almost telling me. Like.

You know. But the letter's almost like. I don't care who you are.

I'm not interested enough. To actually know your name. But we're coming into your flat.

We're coming into your home. On that date. Be there.

And. After the last little thing. With the council.

Where they threatened to break in. If I wasn't. If I didn't open the door.

Because they hadn't had access. For a year. Hmm.

Let me think why that would be. What's been going on over the last. Year or so.

That would like prevent people. From entering the flat. Hmm.

But yeah. They. A little bit heavy handed.

And they seem to. I think they forget. They're dealing with human beings.

And. Maybe you need to be reminded. So.

The actual people that come in. Are usually cool. Only really.

Yeah. Every boiler person. They've always been nice.

You know. Everyone. Apart from one.

And he was the. The very first person. Who came and reconnected.

The boiler. When I very first moved in. And he was rude.

He was giving it a big end for some reason. I don't know if it was because my dad was here. Or what.

My dad was. I think he was painting. So the boiler.

The man from the boiler came around. And. Because it was all disconnected.

The boiler. The electric. The gas.

Everything was disconnected. And. He said.

It needs whatever. Whatever it is. And I said.

I just asked a simple question. And he kind of snapped back. Well do you want it connected or not? I said yeah.

And I'm thinking. Why are you. Can you give me attitude for.

I don't know if it's because my dad was here. But. People don't normally do that with me.

Just like. Why aren't you necking darling? What's going on? What the heck. What are you doing? Because I'm always nice to every.

Everybody. I'm nice to everybody. Let me get in Larry.

Let me get in you. Well do you want it done or not? Yeah. I want it done.

So do it. I don't know. Maybe he was having a bad day.

But. It's weird. How.

That thing. That happened. This is for those that remember.

This is for those that you know. Listen to my podcasts regularly. These ones.

There was an incident. A little while back. With my friend.

And he ended up on the floor. Being pinned down. And I went and helped.

That's all I say. So I kind of went and helped out. Well I didn't really do much to be fair.

But. I got them off him. And.

Tried to calm this situation down. Well. Ever since then.

They've been nice to me in the garage. They've been. Friendly to me.

It's weird. Because I was quite rude. I didn't mean to be.

But I was. And. A couple of people in there.

The petrol station. They said. Oh just leave it alone.

Or someone like me. I said. I did.

Because I swore at them. I apologised afterwards. But.

Like. Just. Leave him alone.

My friend is on the floor. Being held down. These people are going to get off him.

And that's it. And they did. And.

So. That was all there was to it. But.

It was just. It's like a. Different side to me. I'm very placid.

Very. Very. Peaceful.

Very peaceful person. Very peaceful. All about.

All about getting on. And genuinely. I know.

I know I mess around and joke around. But genuinely. I'm.

I value. That. Probably more than anything.

Just. Peacefulness. And.

Well. Peace. You know.

Just generally peace. Among all people. Regardless of.

Superstitious thoughts. And thinking. And beliefs.

Just. Getting on with each other. Get along.

If you can. But. I think some people take that as a. In fact.

I know that some people take that as a. Like a real weakness. That makes me. A weak person.

Because. I'm not. I've never been.

One of those people. I've never been. Like a macho man.

I couldn't be a macho man. I'm not. I'm not macho.

You know. But that kind of like. Arrogance.

I know what that means. But like you know. I'm a tough guy.

I've never been. I've never had that mentality. I've never really enjoyed that mentality.

From others either. I find it very boring. It gets old very quickly.

Like that lairiness. You're not a caged animal. You're a human.

Being. I mean. I've met people in the past.

In their 20s and 30s. And they're like. Have you not had any training? Did you just fall out of your mother.

And then just be left alone. In the wilderness. To like.

Be raised by the moths. Or whatever. I mean.

Where is. I've met some people. Have you never met a human before? Just basic manners my friend.

Just basic. Mind you. I've met some people that.

They literally. As if they've been born punch drunk. Like they've been boxing inside the uterus.

Fighting and that. You know. You cage fighting.

In the womb. Oh dear. That's a weird idea.

Yeah. It's a bit quite tired. It's early in the morning again.

Early. Early in the morning. The thing is.

Once it gets to. Like five o'clock. It's light outside.

But it's not light inside. So. I could walk around.

Outside. And be able to see. Pretty much everything.

Not. It's not bright. You know.

I wouldn't take. A tiny. A book with tiny writing.

And sit and read it. Because I wouldn't be able to see. But.

It's light. You know. I wouldn't be banging into trees.

That's what I'm saying. But indoors. I need the light on.

So I can't open the curtains. Until. Probably six.

Half six. Because I'm not going to sit here with the light on. And the curtains open.

Because everyone can then see what I'm doing. I'm not talking about now. While I'm.

You know. Making a podcast. But I'm talking about.

You know. When I finish the podcast. And.

Decide to do something. Else. Whatever that may be.

Yesterday. I did. Three.

Podcast recordings. One. Let me.

Boy to sleep. One. Deep sleep.

Whisper hypnosis. And one. Relax.

Sleep hypnosis. Daily. Not bad.

Is it. Not bad. For.

Little old me. I don't know what happened. It's almost.

Almost. As if. I got me mojo back.

Yeah. Almost. Almost.

I was quite pleased. I'm just wondering. Sort of look at the stats.

Oh. Not the stats. Yeah.

The stats. Do you see what I've got so far today. Not many.

Okay. Fair enough. Fair enough.

It doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. They will come.

That reminds me. Still be thinking about Thailand. Apparently it's monsoon weather now.

Or it's their hottest. Period or something. So it's not a good time to go abroad.

Yeah. To Thailand. The best time for southern or westerners.

To go to Thailand is between. I've been told between November and January. Or October and January.

That's the coolest part. Coolest time of the year. It's still hot.

But it's their coolest time. So I'm thinking. What is it now? May.

June, July, August, September. It's only four months away. Isn't it? It's not a long time.

Wow. So maybe that's what I'll do. I might wait till October.

And then go. And then. It'd be like the coolest period.

Rather than go. When the monsoon rain. And that'd be a bit rubbish.

Imagine going there. And this rains the whole time. But it's not.

Cold rain. Warm. I don't know.

Is there any such thing as warm rain? But if they're. If the. If the temperature is very.

Very warm. Then the rain might be warm. Never.

I've never experienced a warm rain before. You know. One of my favorite things.

And I haven't done it for years and years. Is in the summer. When it rains.

Like really rains hard. Just walking down the street. Getting absolutely soaked.

But because it's warm. It's not going to. You know.

It's basically going to dry. Pretty quick. That feels lovely.

I can't walk around. Without my top on. But you know.

I just remember it was 1990. Oh my god. This is perhaps.

This is why people call me boring. 1995. Yeah.

1995. I was walking. Down the road.

I think. Just in the rain. Just walking in the rain.

For no reason other than just. The hell of it. And I bumped into.

My ex-girlfriend. And she stood in the rain with me. Talking.

And I was absolutely. Drenched. And I remember.

Well. I said I remember. I had jeans on.

I always wore jeans. In them days. But always had a pair of jeans on.

And. I had a. Silk shirt. Which I used to wear.

Outside of my jeans. It was quite long. And it was silk.

And when I say silk. It was very cheap. But they promised me it was silk.

But. All I remember is. It used to dry.

Really quickly. And I think I used to wash them by hand. And they dry.

I mean. I wouldn't say within minutes. Probably not.

You know. They dry very quickly. Well it didn't take long.

I mean it's almost like you could see them dry. In front of your eyes. Like part of it would.

It just. There'd be a patch. And it just gets smaller and smaller.

And that patch was water. As it was sort of. Hanging on the.

What's it. The curtain rail. Above the radiator.

The radiator. The radiator. Radiator.

Radiator. I wonder where that word came from. Radiate.

I suppose radiates. Heat isn't it. Radiate and heat.

Radiator. And tor of course. As it all means.

You know. That thing. So.

Yeah. It's an action isn't it. The tors.

The spreading of the heat. No tor. I thought he's the one with the.

With the hammer. Yeah he is. He is.

He is. He's the one with a hammer. So many Viking TV shows.

I can't believe I watched. 7000 episodes of Vikings. That's a lot.

A lot. Lot. Lot.

Lot. Lot of Viking shows. I don't know how many there was.

But 60. 70 episodes. Something like that.

Oh man. That was a lot. It really was.

Oh. Oh. Wow.

So. I'm watching the new. The new one.

Valhalla Vikings. Which is on Netflix. And then I'll decide what I'm going to do.

Regarding another box set. Although I do want to watch Russian Doll first as well. Because a new season of that came out.

And I like that show. Very quirky. Very weird.

So I like that. In fact I might actually watch that. Today.

Yeah. So I'm going to go. Thank you.

Thank you very very much. Oh thank you very much. For listening.

Remember to be kind to yourself. Because you deserve to be happy. Be gentle with yourself.

Lots of love. Bye.
