Hello, welcome to JasonDurand.com Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome This is Let Me Bore You To Sleep Please solely listen when you can safely close your eyes Blah, blah, blah Did I say my name? Say my name, say my name My name is Jason Durand La, la, la, la, la Yeah, so hey Yeah Did I get a message? Did I get a message? I had a message, did I read it out though?

OK, no, it wasn't a message, it's from Kate who left a 5 star review for the product Jason Durand Thousands of Hypnosis MP3s Stream and download free So on my website Fabulous is the headline And the review says Don't ever stop making your recordings Thank you for helping me relax each night You truly are amazing Kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss Kiss, kiss, kiss I don't know how many kisses 1, 2, I can't see it Wait a minute, if I 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 So kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss Thank you Kate So

that was nice That was nice And I got a message from Mary I need to reply to this Hi Jason, thanks for talking about your friend Andre I think you made the right decision to get out of Dodge when you did though I love the way you always say that your dad came and saved you and your brothers He must have really wanted to make a home for you all and clearly didn't give up until he succeeded Thoughts on a ferret You could travel first then get another one All the best Thanks Mary I will

respond to that And let me think Well the ferret that I was Potentially going to get And the man's not Called me back so It was his son's ferret He said that his son had lost interest He was a year old, not his son, the ferret It was a year old And This was Wednesday, it's now Monday So Or was it Tuesday?

Wednesday, I don't know I think it was Wednesday So yeah, I've not heard anything So I guess Maybe Maybe Dunno Maybe his son didn't want to give up the ferret in the end There's no way of knowing really It's just guesswork on my part Just guesswork Guesswork Guesswork So yeah, today I made a recording Relax and sleep hypnosis daily Number 161 I think it was Blimey So I've done a few of them It was about 44 minutes long I think There's Release in negative Emotions So check it out It's quite a good recording actually I

would say I am a bit biased though I guess So I did that Didn't really do a lot else actually Woke up Woke up, woke up early This morning About half 6 Just after 6 o'clock Probably about 5 past 6 In the morning Got up I think there's something that wakes me up in the morning Because I wake up early every day now And I never used to So I think there's something I don't know if someone's going out And they're slamming their door Really loud But like a one Because you can get woke up

can't you by one Loud noise and then if there's no more Noises after that You don't know what caused it So I don't know, something Maybe someone's starting a car I really don't know But I Get woken up early every Well I wake up early every day But it doesn't seem to be anything Causing it Maybe just my internal clock Not sure I don't know So I mean it's It's really nice At the moment because It's early, it's light early It's I think about 6 o'clock It's light 4 o'clock is still dark At the moment

I think about 5 between I don't know 5 and 6 I'm going to cough Wait a minute I'm coughing less now Which is good But I still have a little bit of coughing So I've been, yeah this cold has dragged on For a couple of weeks But I'm in the Definitely in the The last little lane Of it The last lane You know what I mean The last little bit of it Just a little bit of Residue of a cough I think I've probably got a little bit of Chest infection But that's On it's way

out, clearing out Still got the vertigo though Which is I've had that since October It's weird October when my ears went weird I'm pretty sure it was Covid Just even though I did one of those home tests and it came negative I was so ill You know I don't want to keep going on about it but It was weird because my ears went weird And I've never had that happen in my life I lost it hearing In both ears by about At least 50% And in one ear I was getting feedback Like I was The

TV was repeating itself In my left ear for a little while Which is weird And it was weak, it took a couple of weeks I think, if not longer before my ears got Back to normal And then after That Probably, I don't know if it was November or January I Sort of just Turned over in my bed and everything was Spinning like what the hell's going on And went to the hospital Because it scared the hell out of me Really I should have I've had a Perforated eardrum Back in 2011 And it was The same

thing but Because I kind of knew what that was Because my ear was bleeding And it was So I kind of You know that was, this was different It was like what?

Oh no And I put up with it for a couple of days And then I went to the, I just Worried that, it really worried me And I phoned 111 and they said you need You could get a Doctors appointment so go to the hospital Just to check it and They just said it was Quite common So it's Brilliant, great And it went away They gave me some medication So maybe I need to contact A doctor again But they gave me some medication and then It did go away And then Then I had it Again

Came back and it went away And now it's back again And I've had it for a couple of weeks Maybe longer And It's just I'm used to it now It's almost, if I look up Or look down or look To one side or whatever It's like that, especially just the ears The inner channel or whatever Is Just Unaligned or in Whatever Apparently millions of people have it So it's just It's just getting used to it I think for me Once I know what something is I don't I don't worry about it anymore Once I know

the cause of something It's almost Okay, fair enough I'll Deal with it And I can deal with it, it's not debilitating Me Really, you know, it's And also It only lasts for a few seconds So it's not a big deal And it's not neurological, I've been tested Well, not I've not had my head examined As it were, but They've done neurological tests Just basic stuff to make sure That I'm okay So, you know I've not done Extensive stuff, but They said it's just Standard It might be because I've spent too much time laying down Maybe

My stomach's grumbling a bit I didn't have any dinner, I just had some breakfast For my evening meal Just had a bowl of cornflakes And it probably wasn't quite Enough, so I might have to have some toast Or something Because otherwise I end up going to bed hungry and that's not good It's Yeah, I don't, that feeling It's not It's weird though, isn't it, because I've just had A breakfast Now in the morning When I've gone I don't know, seven or eight hours Without eating, a bowl of cornflakes Is perfect Cup of coffee, bowl of

cornflakes Keep me going for hours But I've just Eaten a bowl of cornflakes just now And I haven't Probably didn't go more than probably about four Four and a half, five hours Between the last thing I ate Yet it wasn't enough Maybe it's because I Went for a big long walk Nice brisk walk A little while ago So maybe You know I don't know I've got no idea I can't figure it out I'm trying to figure myself out That's why I don't try to figure other people out Because I can't figure myself out How can

I even start on others I just don't understand I don't understand anything So yeah, I might have a bit of toast Nice bit of toast That would be nice That would do the trick A bit of toast and a cup of tea Yum yum yum yum yum And then I'll probably watch a couple of episodes of Vikings Vikings So I've only got Oh Probably Seven episodes left I'm in the last season now The very last one So there's about seven episodes And I'll be done I can then move on With my life So I'll finish

it tomorrow By tomorrow it'll be done So I reckon tomorrow there'll be Five left to watch And I'll do that They're only about half an hour each So one, two, three, four It's only what, two and a half hours Yeah, it'll be finished By the afternoon And then I'll have to Oh, excuse me I have to Just choose another show to watch There's one show I've been wanting to watch But I never really I watched the first season And that was 24 But I never watched I watched a little bit of the second season But

there was such a gap Between watching the first season And watching the second season That I kind of forgot what happened in the first season And because it was a follow-up And it was following on from what happened And it's the same characters and stuff You know I kind of lost it a little bit Lost the plot as it were Literally So I might Rewatch the first season again Yeah I mean it's quite a long time Since I watched it It's like probably a good ten years Since I watched 24 In fact it might even

be longer It might have been When I was at university So it might have been like 2010 I don't know, what year did it start?

Year 24 24 No No No it can't be That's ridiculous 2001 2001 Wow, no That's ridiculous Blimey So maybe I saw the first season In like 2008 or something Because that's about the time That I remember but I thought No it wasn't that long ago Wow I just No words 2001 Well I think that's going to be my next show that I watch So after this I'm going to watch every episode Of 24 There's a few other shows that I'd quite like To watch I kind of like to watch some There's some shows that I

watched But I didn't see every episode Six Feet Under I fell in love With Six Feet Under The very first episode I was hooked But this is back in the day When Blockbusters That's where I used to get the We didn't have I'm pretty sure Netflix wasn't even around then This was 2008 2009 Kind of time I mean Netflix might have been around But I don't think it was Blockbusters was still around And I used to What I used to do Let's say 2009 No 2008 Around That time anyway I would have clients That I

saw at the college Because I was at university And I was doing my degree in Counselling And I was working towards Getting the counselling diploma So it was a diploma in person Centred counselling And then the third year was a degree That led to a degree So it was three years full time And I used to I think I did days during the week But I used to do a Friday Okay So I used to do a Friday And I'd see maybe four clients On a Friday Actually at the college And Because I didn't have

A A placement Outside When I first started the course I had everything organised I was going to do my placement Split it between the rehab centre And the alcohol charity In the town I was living where I was doing the group relaxation Sessions But because I moved to a new town Close to where The university is So I moved I was no longer connected with those Other charities So I didn't have A placement So they gave me The college had its own counselling Service Where they offered counselling to Members of the public as well as

students But The counsellors were Student counsellors Like myself In training And I had to do 100 hours of Counselling work I had to record every single one And in once every I think it was every two weeks I had supervision On a Friday evening Well a Friday around I think it was Something like 5 to 6 Or 5.

30 to 6.

30 Something like that So what I would do There was a period It changed around but I used to do A Friday afternoon From 1 to 4 Or 1 to 5 Something like that or 12 to 5 Seeing clients And then I would get the bus Then I would go to Blockbusters And I would get a DVD box set Of something At the time Yeah so I'll come back to that so I would get a box set To watch the weekend Or a couple of movies as well maybe The Blockbusters Was just next to the

college So it was handy Then I'd get the bus back And the bus It was a bus that took me straight home But I'd get off half way and I'd go to do My supervision because the lady lived My supervisor lived Like half way towards where I lived I'd get off Go there Have my supervision for 50 minutes with her Then I'd get back onto the bus Same bus stop Sometimes I had to wait for half an hour Or something And then I would end up And I'd get home And then I could relax for

the weekend And I'd watch You know the DVD I'd generally try and watch a whole box set Like a season Over the weekend So That was what I'd keep I think you could keep The I think the box sets you could keep for a week Or something like that I don't know what it was I can't remember Yeah the box sets You didn't have to Hand them in the next day I'm pretty sure They had a thing I might be wrong But I'm pretty sure they had a thing on Blockbusters Where you could rent something

out on a Friday And take it back on a Monday But it might Might just have been with the box sets Yeah I'm not 100% sure I'm not 100% I'm sure they did a thing where you could take something For the weekend Because I never had to I think you used to go back on a Saturday To put the DVDs back in I don't think Maybe I did Hmm There's no way of knowing It's all closed Blockbusters is gone isn't it Anyway that used to be quite cool I remember I went for a little Period

when I used to use Right I used to use At the college they had There was a Like a recording Course you know people did A Music course And there's actually recording studios In the college It was like a separate block And you could go in And I made some recordings in the recording studio Believe it or not And it was I think it was free to use Pretty sure I could just book it And go in there And book it for an hour And just go in That's what I did I just booked it

for an hour And it didn't matter That I wasn't doing that course It was for anyone to use So I did that I used to go in there Probably once a week for A few weeks and then they closed it They started doing Building work and I think they might have even Knocked down that building But it was closed so It was only there for a short while I was unable to use it for a short while And I've no idea what happened to those recordings Because they would have been Pretty good quality I really

don't remember Wow Yeah don't Blimey yeah wow Wow wow wow wow I forgot about that Another thing we could do Is it's all part of the thing Is we could rent The microphones To take them home So What I did is I borrowed A couple of microphones Do it officially you have to sign out I don't know if they charged an amount It might have been a small amount to pay And So I took home Like a really really really good Microphone And used that to make some recordings Again I don't have any of those

Old recordings because That would have been quite good quality And none of the really Really old stuff is of any quality You know Auditory wise they're not good So I don't know what Happened to those recordings I just Remember getting In the Lyft I think I'd already got the Yeah I used to go to get the The Blockbusters DVDs On the way To college Sort of have them with me And then the box sets in Because I didn't have time afterwards I had to go straight to Get my supervision Or I just wanted to get

Home so I used to get them beforehand So I remember Leaving the college, being in the Lyft Having my bag And having my DVDs in the bag And also having the Like the super duper microphone And I remember just clutching That to my chest feeling really Quite good Oh You know just like oh this is going to be a good weekend I'll watch A nice box set and I'll make some really good recordings I did at least one of those things I think I did watch the box set So Yeah I just remember that and

And I'm thinking back to the box Sets that I watched The first One I remember Is Just as I started My friend lent me The box set for Shameless The UK version Shameless TV show And it had every episode DVDs and I watched Back to back episodes Of Shameless And I'd never really seen it I'd seen a couple of episodes on telly Didn't really know If I liked it I didn't see the whole episode Just bits of them And I watched them and I was like oh This is brilliant I absolutely loved it And I

think at that time I didn't know that Blockbusters Did box sets I mean maybe it's a new Thing they started doing And But I remember I bought two box sets Myself To watch And One was Sopranos And another box set Was The Wire So it was both, all episodes Of both those shows And I paid about £49 each for them so it was about £100 between the two And this was in January And I think they should have been about £100 each for those in the sale Again this is before Streaming, this is before You

could watch Stuff, you know stream Stuff And I remember I watched all The episodes And this is over Christmas Or this is the new year I wonder maybe I might have Bought it before Christmas, no There is a chance I bought it in December I can't remember, anyway it was around That time and It was I think The start Of The second year I don't know The start, was it 2007, 2008 Probably the January 2009 Maybe 2008 but I think It was 2009 And I bought those two box sets So I watched every episode of

those And then Blockbusters, I started sort of Seeing their ones And I thought about getting What's it called, not superstitious Supernatural is it, I don't know There was a TV show Called, is it Supernatural But I never did, never got that one I think I did actually But it was scratched so I had to Take it back But the TV show I did get And I couldn't believe How much I loved it, was Lost So I watched Lost and I got lost I got lost in it, it was just So brilliant For those that haven't

seen Lost Just Give it a go honestly Even if you only watched the First season, it is So good It's just really I mean I loved it, absolutely Loved it, and I watched every Episode, but at the time It was still on telly Just Oh that's the point, yeah No the Sopranos must have been later On, because Sopranos Was still on television So I watched, I bought the Sopranos After I'd already seen Every episode on television And I think I'd watched Most of the episodes on television And then the, I rented out The DVD For

the last three seasons And I had to wait For the last season to come out So Maybe It was the very last year Of my university course that I bought The Sopranos Because Yeah, that probably was then Because the earlier, yeah that makes sense Because I still wanted To watch it, re-watch it all again And I'm pretty sure I watched The Wire As well From Blockbusters, I watched Every episode of The Wire From Blockbusters as well But Lost was the first thing I watched So yeah I watched quite a few TV show box sets I

think they knew me In there as the box set man I mean That's what I got known as After I started, you know Renting the box sets out Before that I was Farty man, but then became Box set man Which I preferred, for some reason And The I remember I got one out called Carnival Which was a really good TV show HBO show, very strange But a good show And So I watched every episode of Lost But again it was on telly at the same time So I had to wait For the last Few episodes

to come out But which was Ok, the same as with Sopranos as well The Wire was already done Done and finished As was 24, which I didn't realise Because I got the first season of that And then Quite a while later I got the second Season and I think it was Scratched as well, but I watched the first Episode And yeah Trying to think what other TV shows I watched Ow, I just bashed myself Here's a TV show 6 Feet Under I didn't watch every season So I'm going to come to that I'm not going

to come to it now I'm going to Look, revisit that And maybe watch I don't know How many seasons I watched, if it was 2 seasons, but I Definitely didn't see the last one I don't think I saw more than 2 seasons I think there might have been 3 altogether, maybe 4 Dexter's Another one that I watched Box sets as well, Dexter Which reminded me Because Dexter's He was in both that and 6 Feet Under And Because I remember Dexter started when I was Living in the Buddhist community Because I remember Going to the Buddhist

Centre And meditating and coming home And watching this TV show About a serial killer It was quite Quite weird Really And I turned it off Because I didn't know what it was about It was like It's new TV shows, I watched it And I was like, oh, no, I don't like this But then I watched it later on Years later and I thought, oh yeah I do I do like it But I don't, I do but I don't You know, it's one of those Now another TV Show that I watched was Oh, what's it called?

I'm going to have to look it up I'm going to use the word I'm going to use the word McDreamy Okay So Grey's Anatomy I don't know why Suddenly that word came into my head So McDreamy Grey's Anatomy, I watched that And And I didn't I don't even know why I got it Because it's not my thing It's not really medical stuff Medical dramas I used to watch Elsewhere back in the 80s I used to watch Holby City But I didn't start watching That actually until I was in University and for some reason I think

it was A Christmas episode And there was Two females working together And they were just Really lovely characters And they were best mates And they were both young nurses One had ginger hair One was dark And they were just They were like Best friends And I'd never seen it before And I just thought Oh Holby City Was a It was kind of A spinoff From Casualty But it wasn't kind of it It was a spinoff from Casualty Which is a TV show that's been around Forever Forever and ever and ever Used to be on when

I was a kid On TV As opposed to In the garden shed And But Holby City also If I'm correct Holby City was The hospital That's the hospital where The Casualty's in I think it's still called Casualty But in England Because you know in America You've got ER Emergency Ward ER Emergency Room Here we've got A&E Accident and Emergency We didn't used to call it A&E Now maybe the doctors and nurses Used to call it A&E I don't know But the general public used to call it Casualty The Casualty Ward Hence The TV show Casualty

Based in the Casualty Ward Or as what's now known as A&E It's probably now known as something else Urgent Care Ward or something Like that Anyway it's still The Holby City The actual hospital itself Fictional Was If I'm correct I could double check this but I'm not going to bother I'm just going to Because it's not that important I'm just going to pretend that I'm right I do believe Holby City was A hospital that The Bill The TV show The Bill used to go to So You know The police would often be going to the

hospital To arrest people Or whatever And they'd quite end up often having Relationships with the nurses And the doctors and stuff like that It was almost The only other place that you really saw In The Bill Like a regular place And I'm pretty sure that was Holby City Shall I check it Now The Bill It was a TV show about police The initial name They had Bill Like the Old Bill Which is Like a slang I know the original name was Pigs in Blankets But they changed it So The Bill Oh dear Police drama First

episode 16th August 1983 Last episode 31st August 2010 And Ah They still Show repeats Is The Bill coming back It's supposed to come back In 2021 I didn't see that Right I'm going to wonder if it's got Holby City Police drama Ba ba ba ba ba PV Production Format Procedure 27 years It was running Themes Episodes Ratings Spinoffs The Bill Spawned several spinoff productions In German and Dutch languages That's weird Didn't know that MIT Maybe I'm wrong then I don't think I am though You know You know You know When You know something And you

really know it Holby City Holby City You know what I might be wrong I'm pretty sure No There's no connection between That and The Bill But it is definitely connected To The Casualty Oh That's a shame Oh So Casualty is still on Casualty Medical drama Has been on since 1986 And 1239 Episodes Apparently it's still running I don't know Holby Blue Holby Blue Oh Holby Blue Ah okay maybe that's where I'm getting wrong Holby Blue is a British Police Procedural Drama Series The Daily Lives Of a number of Police Officers Working at Holby South Police

Station Ah So they would've been Going into Holby City I wonder what year that was then Year Number Series 2 That's boring.

That may be where I was getting modelled up. Maybe.

I still want to check though because I'm a little bit concerned with my memory. So if I go back, if I go back, get out of Wikipedia. Go away Wikipedia.

Right, the hospital in the bill. Ah, St Hughes, yep, St Hughes Hospital. So it wasn't Holby City at all.

Now I know a lot of people listening to this are probably very disappointed in that. All I can do is apologise. I can't, I can't change history and I guess if I could change history I should perhaps focus on something mildly more important than a TV show, perhaps.

So yeah, Grey's Anatomy, oh man, I loved Grey's Anatomy, supernatural, supernatural, that's a TV show I was thinking about earlier. I never, I watched a little bit of it, I think I got a box set and I only watched a couple of episodes, but supernatural, yeah, yeah. So Grey's Anatomy, I watched probably maybe four seasons and I really loved it, really.

I don't know what it was about it that I liked so much, really not sure, but I really, really enjoyed it. I don't know why, maybe it just, I mean it was a popular TV show, so you can't argue with that in a sense, but you know, something being popular doesn't necessarily mean it's good, but I guess it's all, you know, it's down to each individual person, isn't it? If millions of people love watching something, then it's got to have something going for it, isn't it, eh, eh?

It's all down to taste, isn't it? However, I really liked that show, it's just really, really, really, really liked it, a lot. I can't think of what other shows I watched as far as box sets go, I can't really remember.

Not really, I mean it's quite a lot, isn't it? That's quite a lot of box sets that I got through. Just trying to think, just trying to imagine myself back there in blockbusters and I can remember the shelf that the box sets were on, because they were empty boxes and you go and they'd put the thing with the six DVDs or ten DVDs, you know, into the big case. Lost, Sopranos, 24, Dexter, I think, Carnival, Grey's Anatomy, Six Feet Under, I mean that's quite a lot, isn't it? That's quite a lot of box sets.

I think they also had Six in the City, I didn't want to watch that, you know why? You want to know why? I've already seen them all, that's why. Was it Mr. Nasty, was it Mr. Nasty, was it the man that, what's-her-name used to always be with, on and off. I've not watched the two films, but I did watch, I'm pretty sure I watched every single episode.

I think the other one was McBeal, was it McBeal, McBeal? I didn't, because I've seen that, I kind of watched every episode when it was on telly because I loved that show. Ally McBeal, Ally McBeal. Now, I'd probably enjoy watching that again because it was funny and, you know, so I might re-watch that online, stream that at some point.

Another show I'd quite like to watch again, Moonlighting. I don't even, I don't even know if Moonlighting is available anywhere to stream. Another show would be that I'd quite like to watch again perhaps is Miami Vice, the TV show, you know, from the 80s.

But I'm not sure if I'd enjoy it now. I loved it when it was on, absolutely loved it. But I'm not sure.

Also, I think I wasn't allowed to watch it when it first came out because Miami Vice, I remember watching it in 1986 on TV and it was on, I don't know, Tuesday night or something. So, but I don't know when it started. Miami Vice.

So, what year? 1984. Yeah, I wouldn't have been allowed to watch it. Just because, although saying that, saying that, I might have had a TV by then.

I think I had my TV in 84 or 85, around that time, my first TV set. And I, I would have probably watched Miami Vice because I wasn't allowed to stay up late but because I had a TV in my room I could pretty much stay up all night if I wanted. I didn't, but I could.

Sometimes I did. Sometimes I'd sit there trying to, you know, straining my eyes, trying to keep them open so I could watch the late movie or something and I'd fall asleep and wake up dribbling all over the cat. We didn't have a cat, so I don't know where the cat came from.

So, I, yeah, it's, I might have watched it, but I remember watching it like, because once I was 16, 15, 16, I could pretty much do what I wanted. Because I was working, left school and I was working, but before that I must have watched it on the black and white TV because I'm pretty sure Miami Vice used to be on about 9 o'clock and I think that was my bedtime back then. When I was 14.

I might have been 10, but I think it was probably about 9, half 9. And I wasn't allowed to watch much in the way of, it's, it's weird, right? I'm not even joking here. I wasn't allowed to watch some of the later shows. So, for TV show, one was, was it Cannonball? Never got to watch, not the Cannonball run, but I think it was a TV show.

Like The Professionals, I wasn't allowed to watch that. If it was, unless it was on at the weekend. But, you know, I wasn't, I remember I wasn't allowed to sit up and watch Zombie Fleshy is, which is a movie, it's actually banned, but we had that downstairs.

I wasn't allowed to watch it with the family because it was at night. But it's okay for me to watch it the next day when I got home from school on my own. That wasn't a good idea.

That was not a good idea. That was, so it was, it was weird. It was almost like, I wasn't allowed to watch certain things on telly.

Because they were too adult. Yet, we'd sit there having our Sunday dinner when I was probably about 13. Maybe even 12, 13.

Sunday dinner with watching a movie at the same time as eating our dinner. Watching Death Wish. Death Wish was the movie, either that or the second one.

Both just disgusting films. Like really horrible. It's just weird.

You know, I've watched, I remember watching, some of the movies I watched with the family. They're 18ers, but it's like almost doesn't matter. As long as we're watching it together, it doesn't matter what the age is.

I said like zombie flesh eaters and horror movies. Inseminoid was one I remember. Just American Werewolf in London.

Brilliant film. One of my favourite movies. But if you've never seen American Werewolf in London, it's not really scary to be fair.

It's funny, but it's done in a way that it's brilliant. I mean, it's an adult film, so it's not for kids. But it's a great, great movie.

The person who made that, did all the special effects for American Werewolf in London, did the special effects for Michael Jackson's Thriller video. I forget his name, but he was a famous special effects person. Unless, I don't know if he's the person who did the special effects or he's the person who directed the movie.

I'm going to check that. Let me check it. I don't know why, but I'm in a fact-checking mood.

American Werewolf. American Werewolf in London. 1981 movie.

Director John Landis. John Landis, he directed. OK.

That's interesting. So, director John Landis. And... Yeah, so he's made a lot of movies.

He directed National Lampoon's Animal House. I'm just going to read out the really famous ones. The Blues Brothers.

American Werewolf in London. Trading Places. Three Amigos.

Coming to America. Beverly Hills Cop 3. And the Michael Jackson video Thriller. And Black and White.

Wow. That's interesting. So, he's done a lot of stuff there.

A lot of big movies. Ooh. Person Life.

Do, do, do, do, do, do. Oh. OK, fair enough.

Oh, blimey. Yeah, there's not really a lot of information about him. Oh.

So, yeah. So, that was... Sometimes I've got at least memory and I think and I kind of remember certain things. And sometimes it's not quite correct.

And I like to... It's not important to me to be correct necessarily in these recordings. But it's nice just for me, for myself to be able to just look and... Educate myself, I guess, really. So that I've got the right information.

So, if the subject ever comes up. Instead of thinking that John Landis is the one that did the special effects. He was the director.

You know, it wasn't him. He directed the movies. And so, he directed American Werewolf in London.

And he also directed the Michael Jackson Thriller video. However, they used the same special effects. In both.

That I do remember. Because that was the big thing. That was the whole thing about it.

Because American Werewolf in London was a huge hit. And the Thriller video came out... The next year, something like that. I don't know.

What year was Thriller? 1983? Because this is Thriller. Thriller now. I think it was 83.

American Werewolf in London. American Werewolf in London was 1981. And the Thriller video was 1983.

OK, see? See? And Black or White was 1991. Wow! Isn't that nice? He also did the Twilight movie. The Twilight Zone movie.

He did the prologues and timeout segment. I like the Twilight Zone movie. I like the Twilight Zone.

I like all of those kinds of weird things. I quite enjoy. Strange stuff, you know? I like a bit of Twilight Zone stuff.

It's nice. Yes. So, that's kind of what I've done today.

Not really what I've done. This is what I've done 10 years ago. 15 years ago.

I watched some box sets. So when I finish listening or watching... Vikings. I'm probably going to... Yeah, I'm probably going to embrace... 24.

And watch all 8 seasons of that. That's my next little adventure. Yeah.

Unless I can think of something else to watch. Hmm. Do you have any recommendations of anything really good? Like a really good box set.

That's almost... Like a page turner. I know obviously it's not a book. But that kind of... Oh, I've got to watch the next episode.

I like ones like Lost did this. They used cliffhangers really well. And... What was the show that I used to watch that had cliffhangers? The really used cliffhangers well.

Oh, yeah, they are cliffhanging. No. I can't remember.

I'm not sure. What is the last thing I watched? I can't remember. I think... The Walking Dead are pretty good with that actually.

Yeah, The Walking Dead are pretty good with that. The only problem is... If I've watched... I like to have the whole show. The whole season.

I don't want to wait every week. And with The Walking Dead... Not only do they make you wait every week. They've broken the last... The final season into three blocks.

Spreading it out over like a year and a half. It's just... I find that a little bit annoying if I'm honest. And they don't even announce when the next one's going to be.

Which is another thing I find annoying. Because I'm pretty sure... That the TV schedules are... Organized. They're not just organized the week before.

They're organized months and months and months ahead. What they're going to be showing on television. Which is... I imagine how they manage to sell adverts.

So... Why not just let us know? Let us know when it's on so I can plan it. So I can... Give me something to look forward to, man. They did that with Peaky Blinders.

The BBC. It's coming soon. The final season of Peaky Blinders is coming soon.

When? Soon. No, but when? When? Coming... Soon. That's not good enough.

But when? What is it? January? February? March? What? Soon. And they just would not give up. Just kept sticking to the word soon.

And then I think they put an advert... Nearly here. Like... And then... Next week. Next week.

Brilliant. OK. What day? Soon.

One of the days. It's got the word day in it. Anyway, it was Sunday.

I watched them and it was good. But I didn't know when. I was waiting for months.

I want to say I was waiting for months. I don't mean I was just staring at the television for months. Waiting for it to start.

I never spend more than a few weeks doing that. Anyway. I also went for a walk today.

Watched a little bit of snooker on television. And that is it. That's the day.

So I'm going to go. And I will return again tomorrow. I will.

So thank you for listening. Remember. Remember.

You know what I'm going to say. You know. Be kind to yourself.

You deserve to be happy. Be gentle with yourself. Lots of love.

Bye.
