yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah a little bit busy this week which is not good it's uh it's you know i mean i mean 20 it's not that long 24th of january was the last recording i did so going back 24th it's been a week a hell week now i suppose you know when i'm on track and everything's going tippity boo whatever i i tend to do kind of one recording every day and i'm planning to do that again i just had a few uh things to sort out

this week and um but hey i'm back i never really went away i mean some people do weekly podcasts i just happen to do more regular ones so it's it's more i guess for some people it's more noticeable when i haven't made a recording for a little while but i'm back so message to ben hi ben ben asked he sent me a message saying where are you really where are you where have you been and just checking i'm okay so thanks ben i'm all right yeah all's okay i'm uh yeah i'm here and um my

plan my plan my big old plan is to get back to it to get back to why do this you know i mean get back to doing this get back to making recordings every day not just the let me bore you to sleep ones but also the other ones you know hypnosis stuff that i do i'm not videoing this recording because i just couldn't be bothered if i'm honest it would have involved making myself look all pretty and there's just not enough time there's not enough time for that but i probably will well yeah i'm

planning at least i've got this all set up to make some videos so i guess i will be making some so always is interesting just as i just checked onto facebook k also is sort of sent me another hi jason i'm just checking in as you've gone quiet i've been listening to some old ones it's really nice to hear andre in the background anyway hope you're okay no need to message back just know that you've you have people thinking of you thank you kay that's very nice of you i appreciate that um so yeah i

have i'm i'm back i'm back i'm back and there's been a few few little issues nothing that i'm really going to talk about it's not a big big thing like for the first time what something you're not going to talk about because apparently according to someone that i was talking to uh recently i talk about everything so fair enough and so i guess today what i'll do i'll give you a little kind of catch up and that's my squeaky chair by the way i'll give a little catch up on my i guess the last week

really um so let me think i mean i had a letter i had a letter from the council who is my landlord and they said we are going to we've tried to contact you about getting an electrician to come in and check the wiring or whatever the electrics in your flat um if i wait say i'm gonna read it to you hold on i'm gonna get up i'm just walking away from the food excuse me right okay i'm coming back okay here we go i've got it um pinned to my door so it says urgent

dated the 17th of january which um it wasn't the 17th of january that i received it i received it last week and it's the first of february today so um i guess maybe i didn't receive the first copy of it because this was uh handed this is hand delivered urgent please do not ignore emergency electrical inspection and this is in big red bold letters so the rest this is next bit is in black i'm gonna tell you what color the ink is but anyway following our repeated attempts to make an appointment with you to carry

out essential electrical checks required by law i write to advise whistle to advise you that we will now be attending to force entry to our property to carry out this work a little bit heavy-handed considering i have not been contacted continuously the way they're trying to make out i had a letter i had they tried to make an appointment with me sent me a letter last year saying we're coming around and i contacted them saying well actually i'm waiting for the results of a covid test so probably not the best time right now and they

said okay we'll contact you in the future they didn't contact me however someone knocked on my door while i was in bed didn't answer the door and then when i came out this is during the day uh probably maybe october time and there was a letter posted through the door where you tried to access and to check your electric so they didn't give me an appointment they didn't tell me to come around they just turned up which is not a good idea really i don't you know you know have i think there needs to be

an appointment if you're going to come in here so you know i was asleep and so maybe that's the two things that the that they're talking about we are endlessly trying to get into your property but just that you know i write to advise you that we now we will now be attending to force entry to our property now i know it's not i don't own this property but it is my home it may be their property but it's my home and i have a tenancy which is lifelong you know the only way i can

get kicked out of here is if i do something really bad or i just don't pay the rent for ages and even then you know i could probably go to court and get help with that you know if there's a problem with being able to pay the rent so you know i've never once been behind on the rent i've never had any run-ins with them i've been a almost a perfect tenant i don't cause trouble for no one so i was a little bit a little bit to be fair i was absolutely raving and absolutely

um shaking with rage which is maybe over over thingy but the idea of someone forcing entry into your home if you imagine it it's not a nice feeling you know it's not a nice idea because you know sitting here right now if someone started forcing their way into the front door then i'm going to be going to prison for a long time because i don't know if as far as i'm concerned that's a you know that's a huge threat if i was in america i could shoot them you know that's that's a very dangerous situation

but because they're the council it's okay so i'm just glad they sent me the letter in my one way because if i hadn't received this letter and i was woken up to someone trying to break my door in because they will have to drool and break in because they don't have the keys and the kind of lock that's on the door because i have locked myself out before and the and it's this is a new door i've seen uh i've seen the locksmith try and get through and they can't get into it without actually breaking

the door so that you know that would be quite a scary quite a scare i don't get all heavy but it's quite a scary way to be woken up um and i've lived in some weird spaces and quite dangerous places in the past where that has always been a possibility so that kind of preparation in my mind has always been there for the last 30 years i've almost kind of been prepared for what i would do in such a situation and it would be acting first thinking later obviously not not if i know they're coming

but if they're coming i'm going to open the door for them no i'm not you know it's not like they come in to arrest me it says and it says if you or a member of your household are shielding from covid19 or self-isolating please contact us to let us know well that was the case in the past because i was self-isolating and i think the in fact i think it might happen twice i think that you know i've had um there's one week where i was actually ill for about 10 days but i didn't do

the covid test i did the you know the little plastic one that you can get that's supposed to be not very clear not not accurate mine came up uh i did do one and it came up as false or you know no no or whatever you want to call it i was so ill that is no not really any doubt in my mind that i had it because i was incredibly ill for you know quite a while and um if it wasn't that i don't know what the hell it was because you know i don't

have much contact with people so that was the one just after i'd literally gone to a doctor's surgery then a pharmacy then a supermarket because i was going out i tried to do as much as i could in that one day get as much done because i don't go out very often so i kind of forced myself to get shopping and and do lots of different things and somewhere along the line i must have caught it or caught something while i was out that day i think that was october it's very poorly i had a

cough that was what was it before september but anyway i had a cough that lingered for uh probably about three months so that was weird anyway we we intend to obtain access to our property they're real it's still heavy-handed even the word in our property it's almost like they just don't care that it's my home and and they've put a date down and it says and that's in red light red writing if we do not hear from you we will gain access to the property to complete the electrical inspection along with any corrective works you

will be charged for the costs involved in replacing door locks and repairing any damage caused as a result of obtaining access keys will have to be collected from our out of hours security service um not quite sure what that means this cost is likely to be more than 100 pound we would like to avoid forcing entry and want to work with you to ensure your home is safe i mean fair enough they want to ensure the home is safe i want the home to be safe you know i'm not i'm not stopping them from coming

in i've had loads of people come in check the boiler and to do things it's just this is just been a weird time the last year or so and i guess we just not coincided with our timing we would like to avoid yeah um please call the compliance officer at the number phone number above or the compliance assistant on um the telephone number so there is two different telephone numbers and if you will be able to arrange for someone to be at home at the time and date given in the letter i'm nearly always here

i go out you know i'm not always i go out i used to take andre for a walk every day sometimes twice sometimes three times a day in the summer or when the weather was nicer and even in the winter i try and get out at least once a day even if it's just around the corner for a walk or to the petrol station just to get something some milk or you know something like that i try to but sometimes i don't but you know generally i'm here most of the time so i know for

a fact they have not been knocking on my door lots because i don't ignore when my door is knocked on you know i look through the door sometimes i might not hear it if i've got my headphones on watching telly or listen to music or i'm in bed um so what i did is i phoned up what was weird is that the door went and i thought well who's that so i go and i'll go to i walk up to the door i look through the peephole which is i do for it before i ever

answer the door look for the people and there was a head like a woman and literally could she put the letter as i walked to the to the front door a letter was put through the door after knocking and i looked through and literally i could see this woman practically running away from the front door i opened the door as quick as i could and she's out down the stairs zipping in in the car and literally in that time i step outside and she's jumping in the car driving away like i'm yelling oh you know

just to stop her so i could just this is before i'd even read the letter you know i was just trying to sort of like well if you're not knocking on the door can i help you what and hand hand sign you know hand delivered so she clearly did not want to talk to me i guess knowing the content of the letter could be i guess i mean maybe i'm the only one that would get upset at that but at the contents i'm guessing i'm not though i don't know maybe well anyway uh i phoned

made a phone call straight away didn't answer her phone so she not only did she just ran away got into a car zip you know drove off quickly but she's turned her phone off she goes to answer machine so i left her a message and uh told her that i'd received her lovely letter thank you ever so much for letting me know about your plans of what is the wording and planning to attend to force entry into your property so i was you know worded nicely so i gave her you know this is my name

this is my address and i will be there so you won't need to force entry into the property and um yeah i might have spoke quite loudly as well when i said it but i was i made sure that i didn't swear and i wasn't you know so i just was very clear and said exactly or shouted exactly what what they needed to know and it took me i kind of started to calm down after a little bit after a few hours and i woke up the next day angry again just the idea that someone

threatened to break into my house the landlord now they had access they came in there the council came in there probably about five months ago to check the boiler do you know to have the boiler checked and everything so i'm not not on it i'm not like trying to stop anyone from coming in here yeah so it's weird very strange and i it upset me if i'm honest i mean me i don't know i just i tried to look at it different from different angles and i said i'm wondering if they my friend said to

me maybe they're getting me muddled up with another tenant who's in the same building because there's someone here that lives there that never answers his door he never lets anyone in never lets the council in nothing he didn't even get his front door changed because we all had new front doors he wouldn't answer the door to even have his new front to get a new front door he had six months without electricity because he refused to let anyone in in the end i had to talk him into it saying look this is a winter and

he was using he used my bath and he had no heating and i had to um i think his boiler broke down that's right he had electricity but his boiler broke down so he had no hit central heating so i lent him an electric heater and i said i just said look you can have that for a for a week but you're gonna have to organize for the council to come in because you need a boiler it's just just it's dangerous for his health he's quite elderly and he did it in the end so i'm

wondering whether that there may be they're confusing me with him because he's literally in the same building and so but they might not i mean i've got my name so they clearly know got the right name and that but they might have two flats that have not been able to get electricians to but it might be that they're confusing or maybe they just don't care they might have sent the same letter maybe this is just a standard letter and this idiot person who's the compliance idiot officer actually gets a kick she might get her rocks

off by threatening people like a little bit of power you know when all it is is something very simple and and the weird thing about it is before i was having this company they called Aaron services and i didn't know who they were so i was ignoring them anyway they're part of but now they've got a head headed letter with the council and then Aaron services next to it see why can't the council just send around electricians why they've got to get together with some private firm who i don't know who they are so when

someone calls up oh this is services you want to come into your house no go away don't know who you are how am i supposed to know that they're connected with the council they might be fraudulent they might be trying to get here so they can you know get into my safe and steal all my jewels how do i know paranoid i keep my jewels in my underpants so anyway these idiots are coming and uh i received a text message from them we have received your message and uh we have cancelled the locksmith oh brilliant

okay have you cancelled the police escort that you would need because if you're going to break into someone's house you need to have police with you i'm not saying legally they need to but for their own safety they really need to be having some police with them if they're going to be breaking into people's houses because you know guaranteed there's going to be lots of people that they've sent those kind of letters to they're going to come a cropper they really are and that's not fair on the people going it's not fair on the electricians

it's not fair on the locksmith it's on the council but they're sending people to do that and they're not even connected they don't work they don't even work for the council crazy crazy crazy crazy so that put me in a big bad mood for about a year um and that's happening this week i mean i've i've pretty much every single person that's ever come in here for whatever reason have pretty much always been nice electricians gas engineers whatever window fixers they've all been nice people uh i think the only person that was a bit of

a a bit of an arse was the very when i first moved in here there was it was it wasn't a gas engineer it was the uh it was again it was from the actual gas company to come and fix fit the gas to connect the gas something like that and i don't know what it was but he said um he said something like so i questioned him he said would you want me to do it or not well that was his attitude uh that's what he said like literally my dad was here and i

was like who do you think you are talking to me like that don't you know who i am so yes most people have been really good just like the delivery driver the delivery people for the supermarket nearly every one of the delivery people are nice but i had one absolute arse during it was last year probably early in the year last year and he refused to even enter the building don't have to come to building don't have to it's my choice it's covid and i don't have to come in if i don't want to but

you're a delivery driver that's kind of your job is to deliver the food to the door to at least to the doorstep of the the place no i don't have to the uh it's not i don't have to because because of this blah blah blah blah and now if you just said i don't feel safe to come in here sorry about that you don't think they'd just be nice of it but he like complete attitude right from the start and so what i did is i tipped i banged on my friend's door see if he

could help me because part of the reason i get deliveries because i've got arthritis in my lower back i've talked about the pain in my lower back but i've it's being diagnosed i don't mention that it's being diagnosed as arthritis um so i've had this issue with my lower back had a problem my upper back but since i've been doing the weights and exercises my luck my upper back seems to be okay pretty much but my lower back still problematic but not a little bit less so with the exercise and the weights but still it's

arthritis you know it seems to be worse in the cold on cold days i'm getting old i'm really i'm getting old it's ridiculous my lower back's getting older than the rest of me oh there's another part that's getting really old and it's shrinking but let's why couldn't it be my nose why couldn't my nose shrink that's not fair anyway um what was i talking about i don't know oh yeah this bloke who refused to come into the building because i live upstairs there's just one set of stairs it's maybe 12 steps something like that it's

not many um and if my back's all right i'll give people a hand i mean the other i got delivery a few days ago i helped him carry the trays upstairs you know the they try you don't know like brown trays or whatever i don't know what they're called it's quite similar to where where bread is kind of loaves of bread are kind of put in but yeah anyway so i gave him a hand and i actually hurt when i hurt myself but i really irritated my back doing it but it was like the coldest

day that we'd had coldest day of the year pretty much and i just felt a bit sorry for the bloke i was like i'll just give you a hand just give him a freezing cold and he must have just been you know it must have been a hard day for him but being freezing cold meant that my lower back was a bit more susceptible to irritation so i do you know before my back got the way it is because you know it's always been problematic but it's gradually got worse and worse i would help the

people with the stuff to bring them up stairs especially if it's in bags much easier but with the trays they're a bit too yeah it's a bit harder because i can you know i can carry maybe six bags free in each hand and that's quite a lot of stuff but when they're in the trolleys they just seem to be very awkward um but anyway this bloke i knocked on my friend's front door this is the man from last year why ain't coming in here i don't have to come in here i think he thought he

was a gangster or something like an old like 1930s gangster yeah you got hate got hate from here to here yeah we always knock you out knock you spork out you know that kind of idiot and i i didn't even look at him i couldn't look at him and what he did i knocked on my friend's door downstairs woke him up and i said i was laughing because i was just couldn't believe that this bloke is being so rude because i had not said anything to him all i said was hello hi yeah it's straight

away hey bringing them in he didn't say that but you know i mean fair enough he might have piles and i understand piles is uh it's not nice or he might be constipated but don't take out on me i'm not responsible for the state of his bum hole you know just like this you know i was nice to him and then i wasn't nice to him and i knocked on my friend's door and i said look this look i said you gotta come out here so that i behave myself because i'm just it just pushed

me because i wasn't prepared for it because every delivery person's been lovely for years i've lived here six years i've never had a problem with any delivery driver ever in my life and you know what any kind of delivery driver even pizzas i'm always nice everyone's nice i'm always nice to them they're nice to me this person for some reason had a he did he had a stick up his bum he like really had to mind you that probably why he's in a bad mood perhaps if you remove the stick so i said to my

friend like do me a favor just come out just just help me please first of all i need a bit of help to get the stuff upstairs but um i just need you to make sure that just keep hold me back because i'm i don't know what i'm going to do so my friend like so i was just give me a couple of seconds i can put some clothes on because i woke him up at this point the bloke still and he opened the front the main door and was just pushing in the trays into

like the entrance of the hallway so what i did is i just picked the trays up and just emptied the contents on the floor luckily i had no eggs but i just chucked them on the floor and i chucked the trays back at him and not sure that went down too well but you know so what and and he just left very quickly and then my friend came out i was like what and so i just wasn't my finest moment i'll be honest but i wasn't prepared for it you know i think it's much it's

much easier to deal with um i don't know what you want to call them those kinds of people when you're prepared for it but if you're just prepared you're expecting just another nice person just to turn up and you know be helpful and i've had some of them offered to bring the stuff in not during covid but before that they've seen me struggle uh to bend down bend over and they've offered to help me bring the stuff into the kitchen and i've always say no it's like no it's fine you know i don't i'm fine

i'll just do it and the food used to get delivered in in uh carrier bags now it's all loose everything it won't be long before everything doesn't even have packaging it just it'll just be eggs and cabbage and peas and fish fingers like all just like all mixed together in one you know all we don't want packaging because all you know it's getting it's getting silly i mean i understand they don't want to waste and use lots of carrier bags and have waste but you know we can reuse carrier bags you know give them back

to them or whatever but of course you know that's that's just obviously doesn't work for them so what i have to do is when they deliver it every time they always put the trays and stack them up outside my front door and not knock on the door i come out i can't get out my front door without having to push the trays out out of the way and before when it was in when they were in carrier bags i'd stand at the front door take them out put them to the side and it was easy

it was not always easy it depends how much stuff there was but it's relatively easy now there's no room there's not enough room for me to because i have to take the stuff out put it into carrier bags i've got here and i can't do that in my doorway so i have to push the stuff out i think it annoys some of the drivers some delivery people because i'm doing it in the hallway and i don't think they like that i think it goes against what they're used to but i don't care i need a

little bit of room and i'm not you know i'm not a tiny person so i need a bit of space to maneuver you know it's my big fat bum it does the other day i actually bent over i knocked i knocked the driver and he fell down the stairs but it's okay because my bum was so big he landed on the other cheek so he was like uh he saved his fall so that's what am i talking about oh dear so yeah i have to put the stuff into carrier bags and it's just it's not

great and then my friend who can't really get out and do stuff i end up going to the supermarket with him and then carrying his bags home he carries some i carry some and that defeats the whole object of me getting a delivery of my own food if i'm then going to go to the supermarket with my friend and help him carry his bags home that's just that's like a false economy isn't it is that the right term what am i doing there and he won't i tried to talk him into like get a delivery

on online i like to see the stuff well you can see the stuff there's pictures online it's not in braille you can see it and he said um i said look i don't mind come up look through it spend an hour two hours whatever you want looking through and see what you want you know and order it and we'll order it and you know you give me the money or you pay on your card or i pay on my card and you give the cash whatever and then you get it delivered which means you haven't

got to go out and um especially put yourself at risk at the moment you know with what's been going on because he's unwell so it's putting yourself physically at risk whenever he goes out and then i haven't got to carry this stuff back and i don't have to put myself at risk you know and um he said no i like to look at the stuff i like to see the stuff i like to if he likes to feel it as well i don't know and i just thought he just it's what it's like we're all

a bit like that i think kind of stuck in our ways a bit and don't want to kind of move don't want to do something different i think we all i say we all i know i am and a lot of people i've met may have all got that kind of tendency even in a maybe a different way you know what i mean they're like well i want to stick to this i what i prefer i prefer i'm sure i prefer black and white television discolored television is fangled colored television not don't like that it's

too modern for me and i do think that sometimes if he's if he was in a wheelchair and it stops someone from pushing him up the slope you know up the wheelchair ramp no i want to go up the stairs i've always gone up the stairs i want to go up the stairs now yeah but you're in a wheelchair now nope i want to go upstairs but there's a ramp here there's a ramp specifically built for wheelchairs nope i want to go up the stairs because that's how i've always done it go ahead then i'll

meet you up there yes i can be like that myself very very um i think it was it pig-headed but very kind of like stuck in me ways very inflexible at times i mean it's funny it's it's not always funny at the time but after was like blimey i really am a weirdo oh john adams liked my facebook i did a number 150 relax and sleep hypnosis daily majority rules and i actually did that as a a recording for somebody that was i spoke to and said they they were going through a difficult time so

i mentioned her at the beginning of the recording but i didn't actually mention her in the in the title yeah why why are you telling us that jason i don't know how should i know why how should i know why i do anything i don't know so what else have i done um this week well i've been doing a lot of tidying and i think part of it was a few reasons one is it's just been really messy and i'm getting fed up with it the other reason is because i've got someone coming in here

this week you know the electricians and i'm a little bit embarrassed with how untidy it gets in here sometimes uh the other thing is i'm trying to i'm always trying to sort of uh not streamline but i don't want lots of stuff everywhere you know i want to try and keep things so they're ready i want the microphones to be ready i want the video set up to be ready for when i need it not to have to set it up and there's still a few setup things you know plug it in check in before

continuing you know so for example when i make the podcast i have to do a bit of recording first play it back make sure it's okay check to see what it's going to sound like when i increase the volume at the end of it during the editing because the volume on this isn't particularly high when i record it and which is a bit annoying because with my old system because i bought a new thing which is supposed to be i mean it cost me 400 pound and it should be it was like a replacement for

the old one is i don't know what it's called focus right thing it basically connects the microphone to the recorder you know and i guess it that's how the the sound it that's where the sound it creates the sound from i clearly don't know what i'm talking about but anyway it should be better it should be way better than the other one because the other one's a few years old wow well it's not or maybe it is maybe i've just not got it right i haven't got the settings correct which i will maybe need to

look at but it's okay it's you know i'm doing my best and i got the video set up with the microphone and everything i haven't before um a couple of weeks ago i had about i had a lot of things all set up so that i could do streaming live streaming now it's not that i'm not going to do any live streaming but um you know i need to focus on the podcasts you know video has to come second podcasts are the most important thing and when i'm doing a live stream i find myself well

giving all my attention to the live stream and but that that episode is still a podcast episode so i'm giving all my attention to the maybe 12 people or maybe less that are actually watching me live on facebook i realize if i did it more often i'd get a larger audience and stuff but i never ever announce when i'm going to do it i just generally turn up uninvited you know i just press i just set it up and press go live and suddenly i'm there and then i record it separately as a for my

podcast but i'm giving all my attention to the facebook people that are watching and not almost not giving any attention to the people listening on the podcast which is a much much much much higher number of people will be listening you know potentially thousands over time you know between the different podcasts so there's a part of me thinking this is wrong i shouldn't be given up i need to give attention or priority to the podcast listeners because they're they're the reason or you're the reason why i do this you know the people that those who

listen to this podcast regularly you're why i'm making a podcast and streaming it or making a video for youtube at this time is just you know a bonus because i can even tell you the the numbers of people that actually listen or watch on youtube is absolutely tiny tiny amount of people the i get one 1 300 views a month 344 hours of watch time a month and the last let me boy to sleep video which was i don't know 23rd of january i got 52 views 792 i wonder if that's the same is that

the same one no i did 793 which is the next day okay fair enough so it just shows you how little i get you know on youtube not that i'm getting millions well it was quite funny is it um ed sheeran over the last year on the radios had um 4.

9 million plays he's the most played singer on radio in the uk in the last 12 months and it's really weird because i'm looking i'm thinking not that i'm comparing myself to him obviously because he's a superstar but i've had more downloads in the last year than he's had plays on the radio in the uk i've had over 5 million downloads in um in fact let me tell you let me show you oh please stop no i'm gonna tell you we don't want to know i'm gonna tell you i want to show you you don't

believe me it's now first of february and since the middle of april so you know we've got february march two and a half months to go so that so two and a half months is missing because the stats they did some make some changes on there so i don't know how many i got in that time but i definitely got enough to bring it to over five five million because since middle of april i've got 4.

5 million 4,537,842 to be precise so you know if you add the stats for january and february not february uh let's say february march because i don't even know it won't allow it won't allow anything before that pretty sure i just want to check it will for individual podcasts and just not for the overall which is not great february custom zero so february 2001 i got no downloads according to this it wasn't till um april so which one which date in april it wasn't the first wasn't the second wasn't the third four five six seven

eight nine ten eleven twelve twelve so i had 741 downloads on that day which is um wow that's very low it's not just trying to think it's not very high is it is that all 741 really that's not surely not no i'll tell you what it is 700 so it didn't really start till the 13th of april so they must have done they must have started in the last hour of the set of the 12th because the 13th i got 10 000 2000 to 10 232 april last year and the 14th 9609 oh okay so

in those days okay i wasn't getting over 10 000 i was getting just under like eight nine thousand a day in april but i'm just the point i'm trying to make about talking about stats was um it would have been about five million for the whole year and i thought wow so i just thought that was weird just the comparison ed sheeran ed sheeran radio place 2021 okay ready yeah you ready are you ready um this is this was on the this is on the bbc news okay so you know it's not something i just

randomly made up and ed sheeran radio plays if i just unless it's just in the last hour that makes more okay ed sheeran is the most played artist on radio in the world in the world oh okay i thought that was just in the uk now in the world ed sheeran is the most played artist on radio in the world with 4.

3 spins beating dua lipa and do i know for those youngins out there i probably spelt her name wrong i do apologize um she's second place ed sheeran is the most played artist on the radio in the world with 4. 3 million spins in a year are you sure it's not 43 million 4.

3 million is not a lot so i understand that so i've i've got more i've had more listens to my podcast than ed sheeran than the top radio plays of the top artist in the world it doesn't make sense that doesn't sound that's just weird i should be rich huh it doesn't you know i mean it's like it's just a little on me in my bedroom i'm not one of the top podcasters i'm just i'm not one of the lowest ones either i'm you know i am above average as far as uh stats goes i'm

doing all right you know i am i mean some i'll show you right so i'm always researching i'm always looking and thinking well am i doing okay because with youtube you can put in the channel at this uh uh social blade i think it's called social social blade that's the name of the website socialblade.com or .

org or something and you can put in the name of the channel if you know a channel that you're following and you can see exactly how many subscribers they've got you can see how many plays they've had of their youtube videos daily uh week you know you can just see all their stats and you can also see roughly how much they've made if they're monetized the that's not ever going to be completely correct because they go for something like ridiculous like between 9,000 a month and 147,000 dollars so it's like well that's a huge huge

difference isn't it it's you know i mean if that was uh shallow to deep end that'd be a very long pool very long swimming pool so okay so what i do is i search but there's no way of checking in the stats of podcasts so quite often i look at stat i look at you know spotify and um to see where their people are the top podcasts generally or the most popular podcasts are the true crime podcasts and then you've got of course um you know a lot of famous people have their own podcasts and

i'm just like wow because there's another thing um top uk podcast so top uk podcast um because quite often they'll say uh joe rogan he's the number one podcast in the uk and pretty much in the world to be fair um but there's this thing uh this what was his name peter crouch crouchy he had a podcast crouch podcast and they were saying peter crouch is officially the uk's favorite sports podcast this is in february 2021 okay and it's saying he's very funny he's an ex footballer but he's such a like he's really nice personality

and he's really popular but he's really he's funny and he like you know i mean he's like comes across as a really nice bloke and it says here in the uk around 12 percent of the adult population 6.

5 million listen to at least one podcast per week with figures increasing year on year so just have a look at the where is it of all the top 50 podcasts at the end of january 2021 there were combined 209,596 reviews with an average rating of 4.

68 percent out of five um i'm not really sure what that means i thought this was going to be about peter crouch's web podcast but it's not there was a thing on i read it the other day peter crouch's podcast oh no so i just clicked on the same website but i actually said how many downloads he'd had and i think it was like 12 million downloads in a year yeah here it is wikipedia so the pod the peter crouch podcast the podcast has been consistently one of the most popular podcasts in the uk since

its launch attracting 12 million listeners in 2019 which is amazing isn't it really not surprising i mean he's famous he's he's an ex-footballer so millions and millions and millions and millions of people are fans you know just they've grown up with him in a sense he's been around quite a while so i don't know what he got um i think they did give the stats for the last year peter crouch crouch podcast downloads this really is the most boring listen to oh that's weird i know i've read it this is in a newspaper and it

was saying how many he'd had in the last year downloads 2000 oh downloads 2021 i just want to see how many he got peter crouch twitter oh excuse me i cooked the first meal that i've cooked for myself in absolute months i mean i can't remember the last time i cooked for myself at least six months ago really all i do is like sandwiches or maybe uh you know like a frozen meal in the microwave but to actually cook the potatoes which i did border potatoes and which isn't really oh so full of sleep it

isn't really that difficult but yeah you know yeah it's not letting me know damn you i was hoping it would give me oh what bbc podcast i don't want that for i didn't i didn't put in bbc podcast just randomly pushing me into somewhere i don't want to know i don't want that i just remember reading it it was like a newspaper article but in you know online um i know what i do it's time to bbc podcast again it's a click on see more yeah oh no they tricked me they tricked me instead they

put a thing see more and it took me to a different website instead of click it go if i went all the way down to the bottom of the page clicking next or you know page two i reckon i'll put in the sun because they tend to have those kinds of stories the sun i had a friend who was used to that um i think it's called active actively they call it active listening i call it actively being annoying stop it yeah it's a lovely impression of your farm animals okay i can't find it see

you can get the you can get the charts of the top podcasts on spotify you can get charts of the top podcasts on apple music or apple podcasts but you can he get the stats you can get your own stats but oh that's a shame i definitely did read that unless it was just that one about a 12 12 million so so if he's getting 12 million a year then i'm kind of nearly half half my way towards that and he's probably making hundreds of thousands of pounds a year doing it and i'm nearly halfway

to halfway towards that yeah sure sure wow okay i found an article peter crouch and abby clancy i think that's his wife um in talk to star in a reality series about a family and work x4 pull off 40 where is it i'll shut up don't want to see pictures of her in a bikini not want to make it a recording anyway the programs yeah no nothing there oh i'm sorry um i guess it is a desert nope okay his number one that peter crouch podcast was the most popular podcast on streaming and downloads download

services bbc sound last year but it's not saying how many downloads he got uh i don't know why nothing like the sound of sniffing it's lovely isn't it well i can't find any more information apparently big brother is starting again but it's in egypt or bangladesh or netherlands or something like that or is it australia it might be australia anyway i'm gonna watch it i just don't know what it's on so i have to have a look because the one in england and the uk whatever they stopped they stopped big brother completely just stopped it

and they said it's never coming back and i was a big brother fan like you know proper fan not not pretend fan not just like mildly interested i loved big brother loved loved although i used to get boring sometimes but i loved it and i watched it for years or actually there's a few years i didn't watch it but generally uh there's one there was one summer i didn't have a television so i didn't watch it um but other than that i watch it right from the beginning although when it first started in was it

2000 i was always busy on a friday night so i never got to see i did get to see the evictions but i didn't get to see it until the next day like playback so i never got to see the evictions live which is annoying because it wasn't annoying i mean i'd watch it all week and so i did want to see it but i was you know it's busy so that's just how it is so for the first 2000 2001 i didn't i never saw a live eviction apart from once and i don't know

the i just i wasn't just wasn't busy that night i was able to be at home and it was lovely just watching it it's like oh this is nice i think i had a cup of tea or something i was just like oh i might have had some toast with jam on it yeah i might have done or crumpets anyway i just i enjoyed watching it but then onwards uh 2002 all the way through to um 2010 so like two three four five six seven eight nine ten so for nine years i watched every single

eviction night and you know i'd watch it through the week as well and also the celebrity versions and then it stopped i think 2010 it got taken off of channel 4 and channel 5 bought it and started showing it uh there but that was 2011 i think and i wasn't able to watch it because i didn't have a television uh or i was pretty much just watching stuff online and there wasn't much of a way of um being able to you know like nowadays you've got playback or i forgot to call them but let's say

bbc have got their own app or their own weather on a television and you can watch stuff you know there was on earlier in the day or in the week and catch up yeah they call it catch up don't they well i don't think that was around back then if it was i didn't have it or didn't know about it and i was a bit sad when i took it off because i thought like with the x factor i thought it was just going to be a year just taking a break for a year and

then we'd be back the apprentice has done it a few times you know the apprentice show they take a year off and then they come back well big brother not coming back the x factor not coming back so that kind of we're taking a year off nope they lied to us so yeah that's a shame i mean basically my two favorite programs x factor and uh big brother i don't watch any of the other celebrity programs i don't watch any of the other you know like i'm in a jungle um whatever else they should i

forget but you know the one in the jungle and i'm in a jungle i'm a millionaire or whatever and um skating on ice or something those ones you know and dancing come over come come dancing we used to be called come dancing that's strictly come dancing my nan loved that we had a little bit around once 2004 we were visiting visiting her daughter in the isle of man my voice is going let's have a quick drink don't go come back and i was watching top of the pops she wanted to watch strictly come dancing i

did not want to back down she was determined to have her way and she won and the way she did it is by continuously moaning and moaning and moaning and complaining and moaning some more about the music that's not real music it's not like bing crosby nothing like bing crosby what's because it's not bing crosby then it's not like bing crosby yeah what about sammy davis jr he was good yeah he was net king cole now he's a good singer no one's arguing with that but this is 2004 and there's different people singing different people

do you understand i want bing but bing's not he's dead we can't listen to bing he's dead we can listen to his albums when we get back home but they're not probably not going to play his songs what about blue eyes well he's dead as well then but just he might not have been dead but i don't know when he died when did he i think don't know why it's interesting he was gone blimey i didn't think he'd been gone that long 1998 are you sure 24 years blimey blimey he sold an estimated 150 million

records worldwide that's a lot of that's a lot of records isn't it?

He's one of the best selling music artists of all time. All blue eyes.

Francis Albert Sinatra. So why was he called Frank then? I liked Frank. I did.

I'm not particularly bothered about his music. Some of the songs, I mean, you know, they're great songs. He's very, very distinct voice.

Distinctive voice. I liked his movies. I did, genuinely.

I liked those kind of brat pack movies. Just that era. Bing Crosby, and Ginger Rogers, and Jimmy Stewart, and Dean Martin, and just you name it.

All those kinds of people. Maron Munro, just Tony Curtis. When they were all young, they were just so, they lit up the screen.

You know, I liked Elvis Presley movies as well. So, you can do whatever you want with that information. I don't care.

I am an Elvis fan, and you don't stop being an Elvis fan just because he's in movies. Because, you know, if you watch the movies, they're pretty good. They've got comedy, and they've got his song.

It's got him singing. When you think about it, this is the 60s. Television's black and white.

You get to see him in full Technicolor singing a song. Why wouldn't you want to go to a cinema to see that? I would have done. I probably would have had to dress up as a young girl to get into the cinema because, you know, I don't think there was many 51 year old men going to see Elvis Presley's movies.

I think I would have stood out a little bit. But then you could say perhaps I'd stand out even more if I was dressed up as a little girl. I don't know where I'm going with this.

So, I'm going to go. Time to go. Time to flap my flaps.

Flap my wings and fly away. Fly away. That's my Frank Sinatra impression.

My name is Frank Sinatra. Anyway, I'm going to go. Thank you for listening.

Thank you for everything. It just means so much to me. I didn't realise I was turning into Miss Piggy.

Yeah, I'm really going now. Take care. Remember, remember, remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy.

Be gentle. And I know I say it over and over again, but I think things like that need to be heard over and over and over again. We need to be reminded over and over and over again to be nice to ourselves.

Be nice to yourself. You deserve to be nice to yourself. And sometimes that can just start with being gentle.

You know, when you notice yourself being harsh, saying something harsh to yourself, just quieten it down. You haven't got to have a go at yourself like, oh, what are you doing? You know, just be gentle. Say no.

Hush. Shh. Like a baby crying.

Sometimes all you need to do is just shh. Just be gentle. Be kind.

Show some love to yourself. So I'm going to go. And I will be back tomorrow with another Let Me Bore You To Sleep.

Bye.
