Hope you're doing good. Hope you're fine. Okay so what I thought I would do um is something Rachel, Rachel asked me to talk about 1985.
So that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to talk about 1985. So I think Rachel was talking more about the music but I thought I'd expand to kind of talk about maybe some of the things that I did during that year.
Now I'm gonna, I'm gonna actually gain the help of the internet because why I don't, why I don't want that. I want Google. I've got this laptop and it just doesn't have Google on it.
I'm using Microsoft Edge. Yeah I want to click on Microsoft Edge. Guess what comes up? Bing! Bing comes up.
No one uses Bing. I'm the only one in the world that uses it. Google.
Okay here we go. So I'm gonna use Google. So I'm gonna go and put in 1985.
See what comes up. What happened? Big events in 1985. Before I do that let's give you a brief synopsis of today.
Yes so I, I woke up quite early. I went to bed about 1.30 in the morning. Woke up about three o'clock, 3.30. I didn't know what time it was so I came in here and had a, I had to, had to do a urination.
I did that in the toilet by the way. And not, well it was in the bathroom but not in the term of you know bathroom restaurant. It was actually a toilet but there was a bath in there.
So technically I did do it in the bathroom because that would be the correct term. There needs to be a bath or at least a shower. Shut up! Will you stop going on about that will you? Okay sorry.
And woke up again about five or six and I was, I felt it, no. Woke up about five and I came and sat down and I fell asleep till about six because I just checked my stats and I fell asleep in my chair because quite a good chair. It's quite supportive for me body like the chair that I have at my desks.
And then I had my breakfast about 6.30 maybe 7 it was around that. So yeah I think 6.30 I was doing some stuff online and eventually seven o'clock I, I had some breakfast but I didn't have what I needed. I didn't have any proper breakfast cereal but I had a few, like a mixture of corn flakes and bran flakes in the bottom of this tub of breakfast cereal.
That way I hold it. I forgot it was there. It's not been there for years or anything.
It's not moldy. It's not like me socks. So I just had, there was enough there for a bowl.
So I had that and I had some toast as well but I didn't have much cereal. It was like a much smaller amount than what I normally have. I had two slices of toast and a coffee.
And that was a nice start actually. Having toast and breakfast cereal seemed to be a little bit better than just having breakfast cereal or toast. Just a little bit better.
A little bit better. See I might do that in the future again maybe sometime. I'm, admittedly I'm not really excited about the prospect.
It's not that. You know it's not, it's not quite grabbing me like that. It's just something that I might do.
I've not put it in my diary. I've not been going around telling everyone. I'm telling you but you know I'm not going around.
It's just you. You're the only one I'm telling. So I'm only telling one person.
But yeah I didn't tell anyone. You're the first person I've told. So it's because we get on so well.
It's because, I don't know why I'm laughing. I was doing a hypnosis recording earlier and I started laughing for no reason. And I was talking about serious stuff.
I was talking about chronic pain and I started laughing just as I was talking. And I don't know why. I just, I don't know.
Just sometimes it happens, innit. So I, what's it? The one thing I see, my days are getting busier because I'm making, if I need to write that down what I did. Stress and Pain Relief 38.
Stress and Pain Relief. So today so far I've done number, um, Jason's Bedtime Story Time number 25. I did Deep Sleep Whisper Hypnosis number 414.
I did Daily, Daily, no I put Daily just to remind me what it is. Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily. I just did a little while ago Stress and Pain Relief number 38.
So I've done four recordings. This is the fifth today. Yesterday I did one, two, three, four.
The day before that I did one, two, three, four, five. So I've not done a boring object today but I'll do that tomorrow. And it's quite hard, I mean it's quite hard to do five in one day.
To do six in one day is just probably not that much harder really if I'm honest. But it, every recording is two hours. You know pretty much from start to finish, from start, from sitting down to having all of the stuff, uh, uploaded.
You know edited, uploaded, um, and I'm far behind on adding to my website. Well I've got my little pad here that I've got on me, on me little desk. Um, so there's one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23.
23 recordings still to add to my website. I'm just behind because, well I'm just trying to get nice and comfy, nice and snug, nice and snugly for this lovely recording. Yeah, I'm just behind, that's all.
There's not really a reason. I mean I could say it's because I'm being lazy but, I think technically I'm probably being far from lazy at the moment. I'm putting the effort in to make the recordings and still looking to try and, I've got extra equipment to be able to stream live, although that's brought problems up.
So, um, I've got this laptop which is going to, I'm going to be streaming using a laptop connected to the camera, to the laptop, which is a camera that I got a while back. Because of the webcam on the camera is just, eww for baby, it's really bad. Although the worse a camera is the better I look, which is ironic, don't you think? It's like really really bad, so I can't help myself.
Um, the one thing that this laptop, is ridiculous, it's a really good laptop, okay. It's like top of the notch, specifically so that I could do this stuff. And I don't even open it, it's not for me, I've got no interest.
I don't need it for me that's the thing I like this equipment but it ain't for me this microphone I'm not it's not for me this camera the iPad to be fair all I need really just for me is a cheap laptop which I've got I've got a cheap little laptop as well which is here and I use that more than I use any of the other stuff cheap laptop and the iPad because there's certain things I can't do on the iPad that I I can do on the laptop but the laptop is limited but
there's certain things they complement each other because I can download download podcast recordings onto the laptop and stick it on the storage card not card box thing three terabyte thing I've got but I can't download audios on the iPad yes but I mean crazy so so I've got this this laptop which the camera is connected to I have downloaded OBS I've learned how to use it a little bit that was like at the beginning of the week so hopefully I've not forgotten but what came the issue that came up was not not an issue but
the sound so I've got myself another microphone which is another version of the one I've already got so I've got the SM7D is it D or B I can't see it's too close to my eyes B I think is the Shure SM7B I've got the Shure M7B I think it's pretty much sort of same kind of thing but I'm going to use that for the live streaming so that will be connected to the laptop as will be the camera so that will be the webcam the microphone will be the audio you know so hopefully if
it all goes to plan and it will eventually hopefully it should be really good quality now the laptop's got unlimited data mobile data so I can connect to with OBS you can connect to more than one thing to stream to you I can stream to YouTube Facebook maybe a couple of others and what I'll do at the same time I will probably I will stream on my phone to Instagram at the same time so I'll have a few different places because you can't do it with the OBS I have a few different places that I
will stream at the same time the live broadcast so with Facebook YouTube the ones I do on the laptop there will be it should be as good a quality sound perhaps as this maybe not as good because one of the things that it won't have is editing so if I cough sneeze fart whatever it will all you know background sounds like a helicopter landing on my head whatever I won't be able to edit you know that'll be in the recording that'll be on the live stream with the podcast I will edit that out and I
also will do editing to make the volume you know the hopefully a fairly decent level so but it should the quality should be a hell of a lot better on the stream that it would be if I just did it on the camera or if I did it on the phone I mean a picture should be pretty much better than on the phone as well though I'm not sure because the picture the camera providing the light is good on the iPhone is pretty damn good to be fair in fact probably any phone now any smartphone
the camera the lens is really really good audio has improved this iPhone that I've had for a couple of years is way better than the phone I had previously the audio on that wasn't great and the iPhone I had before that was even worse so yeah I've had three iPhones before that in the middle of that I did have I've got myself cut this is I don't know probably 2015 maybe yeah 2015 probably maybe late 2014 I got myself an Android phone and I actually bought it outright I didn't usually want to get phones I
get them on a contract with the phone company and I pay over them you know pay a certain amount a month for two years and in that I also get the data I get telephone calls whatever unlimited so but this time I didn't I ended up getting you know back in 2014 I cancelled my contract went to a phone shop and I bought what was supposed to be the best camera available on a phone and the camera was good yeah I'll give it it was good audio not so much and so it's a letdown and
you know it's okay look if I if I was pretty then I could I could have the camera closer I'm not I'm not trying to be weird but you know nobody wants to see a close-up of me that's just not even I would want that I mean I yeah even someone really really bad eyesight would get would probably get ill I just have to keep it at a distance the further away the better but when the microphone is built in as it is with this camera as it is with phones and it's just not great
and I played around with microphones I've got I bought microphones for the iPhone and they they work but you know I've even done podcasts with them just hmm so I'm saying just hmm when I paid I think 160 quid I bought a microphone for the iPhone and it just hmm didn't really didn't really reach expectations absolutely great for traveling because when I went to Cornwall in May or whenever it was June I was sitting outside I don't know if you remember I don't know and I didn't have any internet hardly at all it was really
touch-and-go I managed to get a bar on my phone at one point so I could or on my iPad so I was able to upload because recording I didn't need internet to make a podcast I sat outside and just talked and the let me boy to sleeps were only about half an hour long because I was lucky forgot that much time about someone popping a red out of the door saying ooooh ooooh ooooh I still don't know what they were saying so I just it was okay for that but as time's gone by and I've
really tried to find ways to improve the sound of the podcasts which is meant testing quite a few different microphones out over the years.
I must have had about 20 different microphones but now I'm pleased with the one I got. I think I perhaps need to, there's ways of improving, always ways to improve but with the setup for the streaming I've now, oh yeah so I've got the microphone coming in next day or two.
I've already got the camera there. I've got the laptop. The laptop makes a lot of noise because it heats up quickly and I don't understand it because maybe it's too hot in this room.
It doesn't feel hot and the top of the case is cold because it's metal but what I've gone out and got and invested it in a laptop cooler which it stands on it and it cools. It's actually got a fan underneath and I hope to heaven that the fan the fan underneath isn't really loud because it defeats the whole object of it but the reviews said that it was quiet. It's this laptop cooler.
Now if I can keep it cool it means I'll then be able to do the stream because in a way a little bit of background sound ain't the end of the world with a live stream but bear in mind I'm actually going to be making my podcast at the same time so I want as little noise as possible or should I say sound, as little sound as possible. We'll just have to see. But then I've gone online and there's an ongoing issue with YouTube and me.
Basically what's happened is I've already got an account with YouTube, an AdSense account which is what you need to connect to your YouTube account in order to monetize your videos. Now I'm not trying to monetize them at the moment. Firstly I can't because I haven't got enough subscribers.
I haven't got enough video views for the year. I'm close to video views. I'm not far off of that.
But subscribers I'm a long way, I'm kind of halfway there. And it's, you know, take me three years. Oh blimey.
Isn't it weird? Three whole years. And I'm just thinking YouTube Studio, it should show me. Because there's a thing you can click.
I've got 541 subscribers and you need a thousand. So if I click on monetization, this is on my YouTube channel. Grow with YouTube.
So I've got 541 subscribers, I need 1000. 4000 video watch hours you need. I've got 3393.
So you know, I'm nearly there, it's not far off. So unless I get more subscribers, I can't do anything like that anyway. However, because my AdSense account is connected to an old YouTube channel, which isn't around anymore, it's gone, long gone.
I can't use AdSense anymore. I can't, it won't let me cancel the AdSense on that one. It won't let me, I can't start a new AdSense unless I cancel that AdSense.
Do you get me? So, a little bit annoying. I'll try to find ways to do it. So basically, what happened is, in my channel was really growing.
It, it started to spurt, you know, why is spurt such a funny word? Started to spurt. Don't spurt on me, don't, like, stop it. I don't spurt, it's a weird name.
Because you talk about spurt, like, it could be rude, or it could be like a spurt of growth, a growth spurt, like teenagers go through. They probably wouldn't want to use the word spurt. But you know, it's like you grow quickly, you know, overnight.
Some people like teenagers just seem to grow, don't they, really quickly. I remember at school, sometimes, like, I remember one of my friends, all he did is went to the toilet, and he came out, he's like three foot taller. It's just amazing.
Unlike me, when I go to the toilet, I'm three stone lighter. Anyway, my YouTube channel was growing to the point where that was, for me, it was good. I'm, I'm not gonna sort of make out I was doing really well, because I wasn't.
But I could see how it was going. It was growing considerably, like exponentially, statistically, whatever you want to call it, percentagely, percentagely. So I was getting, I was probably getting 20, 20% more, more download, more video views every month.
It was just growing that way. It was just really just like, wow. So at the height of it, I was getting 45,000 plus video views a month, which I know is not a lot.
I know, to me, it was a lot. Okay, I was happy. For a while, I was really excited.
And I had, this is 2012, I had pieces of paper all over the wall with stats on. You think I'm bad with stats now? Back then, I was even worse, honestly. Obsessed, isn't the word, honestly, it was like, wow.
Can you imagine what I'd be like then, with what's happening now? I'd be like, yelling with excitement, probably. But anyway, I was really happy and things were going really well. And every day I was getting probably, you know, at least maybe 10, 15 subscribers, new subscribers every day.
Wow, you know, it's just really getting good. I've only had 3,000 subscribers, apparently. Someone's told me, I forgot.
They told me recently. Well, a few years back. Someone used to follow me and I forgot I had that many.
I thought it was about 1,000. Anyway, so I had 45,000 plays a month on my YouTube videos. I was making probably a new video every day.
One new video pretty much every day. And this is long before I did the Let Me Boy To Sleep, all that stuff. I wasn't doing any of that stuff back then.
That hadn't even been thought of. What I was doing was pain relief, hypnosis videos, relaxation, sleep hypnosis, smoking. I think I went through a phase when I was doing daily hypnosis.
I did the Hypnotic Buffet. Or was that afterwards? No, I'm pretty sure I did Hypnotic Buffet. I did the Jason Chat videos, blogs, vlogs.
I did the Hypno Chats. So that was where I kind of mixed Hypnotic Buffet. I mixed hypnosis and the Jason Chats vlogs.
Excuse me, belching and everything. Honestly, I thought I was in the middle of a weird burping contest when I was in the toilet earlier. But it was just me.
It was like burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp, burp Not so much these days, thankfully. No, no, no. And generally on Facebook, I find that people are less likely to send horrible messages on Facebook because you can see who they are.
You can see who the person is, apart from just people who have got fake profiles and stuff like that. But on YouTube, you know, just the amount of stuff that I used to, it was, I always get, I would get 90, probably 95% nice comments. But that 5% was painful, honestly, I just, people, some of the things they'd write down, just, would you really say that to me, to my face? You know, it's like, it's just like, what? What do you think I am? Would you? Well, they would just said what they thought I was.
I just, I just wrote it down, mate. I just said what I thought you was. Why are you asking me that? Do I have to repeat myself? Oh dear, so yeah, I deleted the channel, but I did it in such a way as to not be able to get it back.
It was gone, gone, gone, gone. I think I deleted it and left it deleted. I deleted channels before and made, got them back because it was quick.
This time, no, gone. And the YouTube, you know, everything, all the stats, all the, I didn't have a lot of money coming in. I think it was just under 200 pound a month coming in from the YouTube adverts.
And it's, I mean, it's not all about money and stuff. But that was quite important at the time because I had such a small amount coming in. I was living on very little.
And it's just amazing to think that that 200 pound a month could be like 10, 10,000 pound a month now, you know, 10 years on. It's very likely it could be that, if not more. Because people were watching my videos and they were terrible quality, most of them.
Really bad quality video done on an iPhone or done on a, you know, and the audio is terrible. Did I say audio? Video. The audio wasn't very good on any of the stuff I did.
Well, some of it, it was okay, but most of it, it was not great. So compared to now with the audio of my recordings, I imagine the audience would have grown a lot quicker because or they, you know, I don't know. You know what I mean? It's just that the quality is better.
The quality, maybe not the quality of the content, but the quality of the presentation. I like to think the quality of the content is improved because I've been doing it for so long. And I can just be me and do hell with it.
Just be myself, man. Yeah. I'm just checking out the iPad.
It's 18% battery left. I've got to be very careful because if it runs out, I'll lose the whole recording. So I don't want that to happen.
I really don't. But the, yeah, so now because I've got the iPad, I waited probably, I don't know, six months and I started a new YouTube channel. Back then, probably 2013, something like that.
well, it might be in 2014 maybe, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure it might be when I was here. Pretty sure because I remember talking about it and I'm pretty sure I was looking at those curtains at the time. I remember my friend saying, why have you got your back facing to me? Why don't you look over here? What's so fascinating about the curtains? Yeah.
So I opened a new YouTube channel and I uploaded all of my old videos and after about two weeks, I went on there, YouTube had been deleted. Because people, strikes, people have been complaining about the videos. The same videos are on there before and there was nothing, none of it was adult.
There was no, it was just, just what I guess what I do now. It was whenever you think about the hypnosis stuff, it's all clean and aimed to help, you know, relaxing, sleeping, pain relief, whatever. And then I thought, okay, then I opened another YouTube channel.
Thinking, well, I waited a little while. Hopefully the person had gone away and had had their fun. Whoever it was, I did it again.
Same thing happened. Waited a while, opened another channel. This time I didn't, I just uploaded a couple of stuff, a couple of videos and maybe a couple of added it, made a couple of new ones, but I didn't add all my stuff on there.
And it was on there for maybe about a month and it got deleted. Because people have been, some person complaining. So I left it.
I just gave YouTube up. Gave it up. Just thinking, well, it's not my place anymore.
So I focused on the podcasts. Continued, I wasn't going to stop doing what I was doing. And but, I think I stuck all my stuff on Vimeo, YouTube video, Vimeo, Vimeo video, your channel, website.
And I paid for it to be on there. Because there's so much stuff I had to pay for premium, uh, subscription. Which was, I don't know, a couple of hundred pounds a year or something.
And then, about three years ago, so I did, I left it for a few years. Three years ago, I started this new YouTube channel that I've got now. And I left it.
I, I just added a video or two and that's it. I just left it there. Waiting for it to be deleted.
Nothing. Just stayed there. No one bothered me.
And then, after a while, I started doing YouTube again. Started uploading my videos. Did a few.
Nothing. No problems. So in the end, I uploaded all my old stuff.
And I left it. Didn't add anything new. Just left it on there.
Just thinking, well, you know, will it get deleted like the others? But it didn't. And it's been there for three years, I think. And then what I did is the last for about two, a month or two, whatever, I uploaded all of my podcasts onto the YouTube channel.
I deleted a fair few of the old videos. The ones that were really bad quality. So the YouTube channel at the moment is, I don't know how many, how many videos I've got? I don't know.
Let's have a look. It should show me here. How many videos do I have? I'm not sure.
Ah. Go to video analytics. It should tell me how many videos I've got, surely.
Unless I go to details. Details. Nope.
How weird. Content. That should be the one.
No. It's not telling me. Analytics.
Ah, I don't know. I can't see it. I know I've got 541 subscribers.
981 views in the last 28 days. Watch time 260 hours. Other than that, the top video views is try and stay awake hypnosis challenge.

OK, so these are the ones. That's kind of the top 10 of the ones I've done. But the... It's still not telling me.
Why is it not giving me that? Anyway, stay awake. Try and stay awake hypnosis challenge is the video that I've had the most views of ever. Of all the videos I've ever done.
It's um... In fact some people, I've had a couple of channels on YouTube who actually they uploaded it to their own channel when I when I disappeared from YouTube. But that's the... I don't know how many... How many have I had altogether? All time. Oh, it doesn't allow it.
OK, since uploaded. Just on this one and had 6098 views. Now on my original YouTube channel where it was on it had I think over a hundred thousand views.
Which to me was... Well, it's brilliant for me, you know for what I've done previously. It was the first video I had that in my little world went viral. It didn't go viral, but to me it did.
Because it was the first video that I'd uploaded that didn't just get a few views. You know, I woke up the next day and I had over a thousand views. Like none of my other videos had a thousand views in their lifetime.
At that time it's like wow a thousand views overnight and then by the evening it had like four thousand views. And it's like so that's what I mean by viral in my own little world because that's a tiny tiny amount compared to a lot of other channels on YouTube. But to me because I only compare myself with myself.
It was huge. It was absolutely huge. And then I did a couple of others and they also did well.
So, you know things from that moment the channel started to grow. You know, it's almost as if um like little booster rockets. The boosters were ignited and I was suddenly started to move after being not static, but moving very slowly for a long time.
Just seeing where I get most of the views from. The sources YouTube search. So people are searching for it.
70% of people search for that video. To find in order to watch it. Channel pages 10.3%. Suggested videos 4.9%. Playlist.
Ah, that's boring. Viewer gender. No demographic data for this viewer age.
No demographic. Interesting, I've got no idea. I mean YouTube.
I still I don't even know on the podcasts because I get, I've had comments from men and from women. You know, sort of messages to say thank you and we like what you're doing. But the majority of messages I've had have been from women.
I have had loads from men as well. I'm not, you know, I've had a lot of messages over the years. But I've been doing it for 72 years haven't I? I would have, you know, one a year is 70.
That's a lot. That's a lot baby. But for every person that sends a comment saying thank you for helping me relax or whatever.
There's You know sort of thousand maybe more people that are also maybe feeling the same way. They just don't send a message. And which is fine.
So I'm just it's okay if you don't want to be nice to me. If you don't want to come out and play. It's all right.
I don't mind. I'll play with a stick on my own. I'll push myself on the swing on my own.
I'll just pretend I have a friend. Trying to think what the oh, yeah 1985. Right.
I forgot about that. Oh also I went out today. I kind of run out of stuff run out of food really.
And I went my friend. We went to here to get something from the tackle shop. So he's got this lizard and the lizard eats mealworms and he decided to see if it'll eat maggots.
He wanted to see if it'd eat maggots. So we went to this place. Mealworms are pretty much they are maggots.
They're just not called maggots. They're a different kind of is it larvae or something they call it. So we went there to this got the bus there and then we walked back.
We're going to go to the shop on the way past this diner. And I said, oh, I'd really like to go to the diner. He said well go then.
I said but I'll miss you. He said well I can come with you as well. I said yeah, but then I might I don't really want to buy you any food.
He said I don't want to eat anyway. I said let's go then. Yay.
And no, so I was going to buy him food, but he'd already eaten. So I went in there and well, I went in and said we've got a dog. It's all right.
We sit outside. Is that okay? Just make sure you know, I don't know in this times whether or not they were okay with a dog being outside and so I asked That's all you've got just the only reason And they said yep, it's fine. We'll come out.
I'll bring you a menu So I went outside sat down my friend sat down one side But it meant me sitting down and I had my back to someone that was sitting there But there was there was four seats four tables And I'm not going to sit next to someone I'd have been like I'm not two foot away from him No No, thanks. I said no, I'm sitting over there And up to you what you do sit where you want, but I'm sitting over there. I'm not not sitting near him Probably shouldn't have said that in that way.
I know it didn't mean it in a mean way I just didn't want to sit near a human I don't want to sit if I don't need to i'm not ever going to sit near another person You know If there's a seat empty at the and a bus Whether it's at the front or the back I will sit on that empty seat You know if it's got two seats empty i'm not going to purposely sit next to someone If I can help it it's like a last resort in fact, I think Unless it's a long journey.
I prefer to stand up and sit next to someone Just a personal preference Um So I did I sat at the other side I didn't want to i'm not sitting with my back to someone that's two inches away apart from the fact that The conversation i'd add my back to everything as well. I did want that I want to be able to I don't want to be able to see what's around me That's kind of the whole point isn't it of being outside?
Otherwise he's facing a wall Well, I would have been facing him but there was nothing behind him So I ended up sitting the other side that he was sitting and he sat the other side That wasn't my reason for doing that I just wanted to not be next to anyone else And if there's no reason to do it don't do it in it That's my logic Only guess So I had a full english breakfast big old breakfast and What we did do is we had a pint of lager each Now I haven't had a drink
of alcohol since cornwall And I was hoping to go for a drink at the pub on my birthday at end of august And I was sitting there thinking you know what my birthday was less than a month ago and it seems Absolutely ages ago I mean ages, which it feels like it's months ago.
Can't even remember it Partly because nothing happened that was memorable, but I can't remember it.
I really can't um It's vague and it was only a few weeks ago Like literally It's not even a month ago It's a month ago on sunday coming and it's now friday No, it's a yeah, yeah, that's right Yeah Very strange, but anyway, I had a pint I couldn't drink it all It's not a really good mix for a breakfast A cup of tea would have been much better just as a It just goes well Big fried breakfast and a pint of lager That's not I mean some people would like it might be Like heaven
in a pair of underpants to them, I don't know but to me It just didn't It wasn't awful But it was just not a mix that i've ever done before So Probably wouldn't do it again either.
I would Probably go for the cup of tea.
That'd be nicer or maybe you know a glass of coke something like that, but not not beer and my friend was a bit unwell, so We left But not before talking to both the both of the waitresses there One was the manager and they were so friendly honestly I mean it helped having a cute dog with us Um, not that he's really cute because he nearly broke my kneecap early, you know earlier in the day Just ran he went to the garden Ran around like weird very weird and he ran at me And he slid
because he couldn't stop myself and he his head smashed against my kneecap didn't hurt him He's a bull terrier didn't you know, he just didn't even feel it And absolutely I really thought it injured me like proper injured me.
I was not happy I went into his my friend's flat. I sat down.
I said I hate that dog I said if he if he's hurt me, that's it. Um You're gonna have to say goodbye to him and it was just I was I know the knee is such a sensitive area It's like a weak point in the leg, you know when if you're standing up straight the knee is the weakest link And The groin is probably the weakest link but the the knee as far as the leg itself goes And the ankle the knee the ankle the shin as far as pain goes because Being kicked in the shin is really really painful It's supposed to be armor, isn't it supposed to protect us?
But no worst rubbish rubbishest protection ever I mean that's that's like wearing a um Like a jock strap made of cotton cotton wool It's just pointless So I you know had to have the drink and the They were nice both the ladies one was pregnant like really heavily pregnant but wow Lovely i'm not both friendly both but Um, but she just She pulled off being pregnant She pulled it off really well and I don't know what that means. I do know what it means, but She just it's like I don't know.
She didn't Oh glowing I guess I know it's a cliche but She just was seemed to be glowing. It was lovely Lovely to see She seemed very happy and When my friend was very well, I got him a glass of water and You know, they were so nice friendly helpful So I left them a tip of five pence I thought you know, you gotta make the effort been banned been banned now Not allowed back so I Then got home got into the shop Got a few little bits I got some cokes And some breakfast cereal some cornflakes So i'd run out and What else did I get?
I got some milk Like a carton of milk a big carton of milk And some black pack of black bin bags refuse bags refuge refuse Um And Some tea cakes which I had a little while ago And then I had also got four three chocolate bars big chocolate bars. They're only pound each so One was aero one was I don't know what the others were But they'll last me the weekend I think that was pretty much it.
So I got that My friend was doing his thing. He was doing what he was doing in there and then I look at my app on my phone. So i'm outside Looking at my app and it says we've got four minutes to the next bus Or 34 minutes if we miss that one.
So I said to my friend you ready? We've got four minutes so He's still in there.
I walk ahead of him By the time he gets to the bridge he's ahead of me So i'm walking as fast as I can He's about seven foot tall and he's just honestly he walked through he walked over me And he was well ahead he wasn't even walking fast And uh I think halfway he actually laid down had a little had a little sleep and then got up again and still ahead But then we get down there The bus is due But it was late But only by a little bit Can't complain And it was
before we knew it we were back come back um I What I do I said i've done A few recordings I had to go and lay down for a bit as well.
I was a bit tired but then I did My Oh low battery nine percent Oh wow, that's not good not good Yeah, I came back my other neighbor wanted to do his laundry so I did that Well, he did it.
He put it in there and I just basically give him a call when it's finished And just been making recordings since then That's been the rest. Oh, excuse me. That's been the rest of the day Um So I didn't get to say much about uh, 1985 But I didn't know I was going to have such an action-packed day, did I? Anyway, that's it for me.
