All right? All right? You all right? Oh, yeah, I'm all right. You? Oh, good. So, this is Let Me Bore You To Sleep.
And please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. My name is Jason Newland. And my website is jasonnewland.com, where all of my recordings are available to stream for free, and to download for free as well.
A little drink. Mm hmm. Oh, so just to say thank you to all those that sent me birthday wishes.
Thank you very much. And that's a couple of days ago now, but that's a weird noise. But you know, thanks.
Had a headache today. And it wasn't good. And what made it worse is my neighbor was playing loud music for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours.
And all I was trying to do is lay down and get the headache gone. I was trying to just, it was it was just oh, eventually, I think around about seven o'clock in the evening or something, the music stopped. And I could just, I just felt the relaxation.
It wasn't that I can't relax with music. It's just the headache. I just, I don't get headaches very often.
So I'm not a very good headache person. Still got a little glimpse of it left. But yeah, it doesn't don't get them often, which is nice.
But when I do get them, I don't like it. I don't. See, yeah, I was a little bit grumpy today.
But bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, better now. It's 16 past 11 in the evening, 28th of August, Saturday, 2021. Done two recordings today, actually.
I did a deep sleep whisper. And I did a relaxation, a relax and sleep hypnosis daily. And now this, this is the third recording of the day.
Yes. And some good news. Well, not really good news for anyone else.
But interesting to me. You're gonna talk about your stats again. Yeah, yes, I am.
I am. And I'm just on the verge, just on the verge of reaching my first million download podcast. So relaxation, hypnosis, stress and anxiety, and panic attacks.
But this that's not in the title, because there's no room is 999,481 total downloads. So within the next two hours, it will reach the million. So I'm quite pleased.
I am quite pleased. And the last 30 days, I've had just under 70,000 downloads. Today, so far 2683.
Yesterday 4017, which is ironic, because yesterday I didn't make any recordings. Weird, isn't it? It's weird. There you go.
It's just Saturdays are often a little bit quieter than the rest of the week. For some reason, I'm not sure. I guess it's because people doing other things maybe, maybe other things.
I don't know. I mean, maybe some people listen to the podcast on the way to work, may sit on a train or bus maybe. And hopefully not while driving because that would be silly when I've already said at the beginning of every recording for 16 years only listen when you can safely close your eyes.
You can't safely close your eyes when you're driving Kenya. No, no. However, not everybody listens to these recordings to go to sleep.
Some people listen to them. I don't know why I don't know why anyone ever listens to them. But some people do.
Some people do listen to them. So I don't know, I think I mentioned this in my last recording. I'm not sure.
I'm pretty sure I did. I just discovered I think yesterday or the day before. I can't remember.
But I discovered that I am, my podcasts are on Apple Music and also Audible. You know, Audible where you can listen to books, audio books. Well, I also have podcasts on there.
My podcasts are now available. So if you go into Audible, the Audible app, just put my name in, all my podcasts come up. How groovy is that? So that's another place you can listen.
Apple Music is another place now you can listen. So, you know, I know people listen different places. Some people like to listen Spotify.
Others like to listen on Castbox, you know, lots of different places. Apple. Did I say Apple? Amazon Music.
Did I say Apple Music or Amazon? Amazon Music is where it's now. But Apple, it's been available on Apple Podcasts for, you know, since the beginning of Apple Podcasts. Originally used to be on iTunes, still is, but I'm a little bit confused by that whole thing.
But generally, Apple Podcasts is where I get the most traffic at the moment. Spotify, I think is number two. And then Castbox and some others.
But Amazon Music is starting to creep up. I mean, Amazon being such a huge, huge company, it's only a matter of time before more people start listening on Amazon Music, as well as Audible as well. Audible's owned by Amazon.
I'm actually a member of Audible because I like listening to audiobooks. And so now my podcasts are there. I don't know if you have to be a member to listen, or if you can just listen anyway, because I'm a member.
So I don't know. I think from what I saw, you don't even have to be like sign up as an actual like, you know, have a subscription on Audible to listen to the podcasts, which is pretty good. Don't quote me on that because I might be lying.
Always lying. The good thing about I don't need to lie. And the reason I don't need to lie is because there's no benefit to me.
There's no reason in the world for me ever to lie. Don't have to. I make stuff up when I make recordings.
But you know, in day to day life, I've got no reason to lie. Zero reason. I just don't have to, don't need to.
No point. It's nothing that anyone's got that I want. So I'm not, don't need to try and manipulate anybody by lying to get stuff from people.
I'm not a thief. So I don't have to lie about, you know, having stolen something. Because being a thief and being a liar, you know, they're two very almost twinned, twinned skills, if you want to call them skills.
They come together, don't they? Lying and being a thief. So I'm neither of those. So it's quite good.
Don't need to lie. Got no reason to. Plus, I don't care what anyone thinks.
So it is, that's useful as well. And, you know, like with the podcast, this one particularly, I just say stuff for the sake of it. Don't even necessarily mean it.
I'm not emotionally involved, really, in much that I say, when it comes to just talking about nothing. You know what I mean? Yeah. I'm so pretty.
So dum-dum-dum-dum pretty. Yeah. I'm so pretty.
Don't you know? Don't you know? So yeah, that's it. Haven't made any images for my podcasts or added the newest ones to my website, or even shared on Facebook for about a week. Part of the reason for that is because my room, my living room has been moved around.
And I did some tidying up last, I'm not sure, I think it might be Friday. Thursday, Friday time, maybe Friday, maybe Wednesday last week. And the table is now in the corner.
And it's a very awkward place. It's very uncomfortable for me to just sit here making a recording. And it's uncomfortable to sit here and do any kind of paperwork or computer work rather than paperwork, admin, administration stuff.
So I haven't done anything. So I need to get this room sorted out. I've got a couple of desks I have to set up, which means that I'll have more stuff spread out.
And I'll be able to start being a bit more productive with that stuff. Hopefully, hopefully, don't you know? Here's a weird thing. The where in England, we used to get our black bags, which is where the refuge, refuge, refuse, not refuge, refuse bags, would be black bags, or gas, lovely.
And they'd go out every week. And then every two weeks, there'd be the recycling. Well, then probably about two, three years ago, I stopped all that and said, we're going to do alternative weeks.
So one week, refuge, refuse, the next week, recycling, which means the bin bags with the rubbish only gets collected every two weeks. Which is not great when you got vermin in the building. I'm not talking about the other, the other residents, I'm talking about the, you know, there's vermin in here, it's, it's, it's a bit rubbish from that angle.
And I'm going to need to get out of here at some point, I suppose. Unless the council actually do something about it. Apparently, it's up to me to do it, I have to do it myself.
So I've, I have tried to seal up every single opening that there is in the kitchen, so they can't get in. There's nothing running around or anything in the living room, which is good. The kitchen doors always closed, the bathroom doors always closed, nothing in the bedroom.
The storage room, I think they can get in and out of there, but there's nothing in there for them. It's just a bit of furniture and stuff. So there's no, no food.
So there's pointless and really going in there. And they can't get out from the door. Because the doors right to the ground.
And obviously they can, they can eat away through the door, but I'd hear that. So they haven't attempted that. I think a lot of them live in the flat opposite me.
So that's nice. And so, and I think they're in the loft and everything as well. Anyway, I really wasn't what I was going to talk about, was it? Yeah, so the bin bags being taken every two weeks is disgusting.
You know, full of food, full of rubbish, rotting rubbish for two weeks, especially in the summer. No wonder there's rats and mice and stuff outside in the garden and that. But anyway, we, I, I don't leave black bags up here in my flat.
I put them out in the garden in the front. I don't go into the bin room anymore, because there's rats in there. So I don't go in there.
So I just put them out the front. Recently, the last few weeks, the bags have been going. Someone's come and collected them during the week.
Literally, you can't go more than a couple of days and all the bags are gone. Not just mine, but neighbours bags as well. Other people's bags.
And my friend asked the cleaners, because we have cleaners every couple of weeks come and clean the hallway and the window or something, I don't know, the windowsill. And he said to them, what do you reckon that is? And they said, oh, you're being, you're under surveillance. So they think that someone's collecting the bags to look through them, because someone in the building is under surveillance.
And I'm thinking, blimey, my criminal empire is about to collapse. All these years of being a criminal mastermind. Billions and billions of dollars going on.
What am I going to do? What am I going to do? Surveillance. So I don't know. I'm not sure how much.
I'm not sure. And I don't mean this badly. I used to be a cleaner on a council estate.
And I knew nothing about the workings of the council or any of that stuff. So I'm guessing they probably don't either. So, you know, I wouldn't take it too much.
I mean, usually those kind of places are agency workers anyway, as I was. Now it's like 30 years ago. So I wouldn't probably, probably don't know what they're talking about.
Probably just having a bit of fun. Yeah, you're probably under surveillance, it's funny to say that to someone who might be paranoid. Yeah, that's a good idea.
But it could be true, though. Could be true. So under surveillance, there's nothing going on in this block of flats.
It's just a bunch of people just living. This is like the, it's just a boring block of flats or a bunch. I don't call people boring, but you know, they're just, they're not doing anything.
There's nothing going on. This is the least interesting building you'd ever find probably in the world. Ain't nothing going on here.
This doesn't need surveillance. Blimey. If they really want to do surveillance, stick a camera in the hallway, near the front door, and then they can just keep track, you know, they do in a lot of council places, and they can just keep track of when anyone comes in and goes out, if that's what they want to do.
You get that in a lot of council properties at the front door and in the lifts, there's cameras, there's cameras on all the um the different levels, usually aimed kind of at the lift area. So there ain't nothing going on here. This is just, it's mainly just people just trying to just, I'm saying just a lot, aren't I? I don't know why.
I don't know why I keep saying just so often. So yeah, I just a bit, just found that a bit strange. A bit, a bit, a bit strange.
Under surveillance, what is it, like a little white van out the front, listening in on this conversation. Can you imagine that? If they didn't know what I do, they didn't know about this stuff, and they've like wiretapped the flat or something, and they hear me talking like, oh he's talking to that bloke again, but how did they get in? We didn't see anyone go in there, but he's having a big full-on conversation with him or her, but we've never seen them enter or leave. How are they getting in through the window? We don't know.
It's got to be really strange. Plus, I do talk to myself as well. I do.
All these years, I thought I was talking to Andre, and it wasn't. I was just talking to myself. I didn't need anyone else around.
I was just talking to myself. How embarrassing. I would say I'm probably 10 years away from walking down the street, literally just talking to myself, or in a supermarket.
I think maybe six years away from that. I don't know. I don't know.
I think that could happen. The complete lack of, I think the distance from reality, you know, the complete not part of society anymore, just doing my own thing. Wow.
I hope not. I hope not, but you never know. Could, could, could, could, could happen.
I saw this bloke on a bus years ago, and he was talking on the phone, but you could tell that there was no one else on the phone. He was having this conversation, and it wasn't a conversation. It was almost, he was pretending, but I think he was actually having a conversation with himself that he would normally have, but somebody said, well, if you, you know, if you want to try and fit in, may or not get stared at, and then maybe hold a phone up to your ear, make some people think that you're on the phone.
But the conversation he was having was not like a telephone conversation, because at some point he was ranting at himself, and then his phone rang. So I don't know if it was a real phone or not, but I saw him a few times on the bus doing this, and there's that whole thing, like, well, you're always on the phone. Do you really have any telephone numbers to call? I don't know.
There was this woman the other day, and she was showing off about her love life. And she was so loud. So damn loud.
Really, really, really loud. And it was, it wasn't a conversation I really wanted to hear, but I had no choice. I had no choice.
I mean, even after my ears stopped bleeding, I still, it still, you know, even the blood didn't stop the, the noise from getting through.
And when it was time for me to get off the bus I just looked at the couple of people in front of me and I started laughing I said good luck and they laughing as well because well probably because I had blood squirting out of my ears I probably found that funny I didn't and it was just like good luck with that you're on your own now I just idea that the less ears there are the more of that stuff will go into their ears now because you know I'm not so I was closest to
us I kind of got the impression that I was taking the full blast now they'll have to take the full blast yeah yeah they look so worried as I left they just looked at me please help it was awful it's like continuously and he did this and he did that and I said to him this and I said this to him and I said that to him now I've got a new boyfriend now oh stop it I've got a new boyfriend and you haven't stop it just you know you haven't stop stop I have he
loves me yeah and I did those pictures I sent those pictures to him that he wanted and I don't want to hear this stop it that is literally one of the things he said I kept he kept taking videos of me and he shared it with his friends like shush like no no genuine this is what was being said like I don't want to hear this this is just horrible stop it stop stop yeah well anyway we got talking we've been together for about three months now and very happy and my camera is full used
up all the all the storage on videos and no so yeah didn't do much today all I did I did yeah I did make those recordings yes I did yeah but and I was making one recording about talking about background sound and you know dealing with it and being able to relax and sleep and it was really quite ironic because as I was doing it some woman started shouting in the garden and I think oh really and then as I was coming to an end I could hear the music start starting to get louder from
one of the neighbors and I just kind of brought it to an end so normally I do 20 to 30 minutes I ended up doing I think 15 or 16 minutes and I brought it to a close and then the music really kicked in and almost like I contradicted myself all these things I was saying and then I was there because I had a headache I was getting frustrated by the loud music as opposed to normally I just got that bothered I don't care it's not all the time but it just it lasted a lot
longer than normal it must have been going for a good eight hours I'd say it was just blasting all day and it pushed me a little bit further than I'm used to being pushed I'll just be oh and just because I had a headache if I hadn't had a headache I would have just put my headphones on and listen to some music or watch TV or you know just blanked it out because I can't hear it when I've got my headphones on but because I had a headache I didn't want to listen to music I
didn't listen to anything I couldn't read couldn't go on a computer all I need could really do is close my eyes and try and get it gone and that involved laying down on my bed with a little bit of quiet just a little bit but even with the windows closed no nothing it was just blaring out because the windows were open as well for the neighbor so it wasn't just down in the actual the building it was out in the garden this music was blaring in the garden all day so I was getting it from
both both the flat and from outside or inside and outside and I said normally I'm not bothered but today I just really needed just need I nearly I nearly I thought about knocking on my friends one of my neighbors door and just saying can I just go to sleep in your bed for a bit for a couple of hours because I just needed to be somewhere that was quiet I nearly did that I didn't in the end but I was thinking about it and that might be what I'll do next time because I needed just
to get out of here at one point I went for a walk to the dog for a walk my friend's dog just to get some air I thought this might help you know go for a walk in the field it's nice and fresh it's a lovely day it's nice breezes well I'm guessing the oxygen levels a lot higher in the field of all those trees than it would be sitting in here and if I might help clear my head and I think it did a little bit and a little bit of exercise pumping getting the
blood pumping and stuff especially the speed that the dog walks it's three times faster than I walk so I end up almost like jogging in a way so yes exercise as well so I think it did help a bit but then I came back to the Blair in music again so I just wanted to I thought should I just go to the park and lay down in the park but then I thought now pretty it's on a pretty cool ambulance or something middle-aged fat man's on the floor in the park yeah is he brave I
don't know I don't want to touch him he's very smelly it's a smelly old man yeah yeah the one who used to have the ferret yeah yeah he's very smelly yeah I don't want to touch him mouth to mouth you're joking I do no mouth-to-mouth with him I'm not even gonna touch him I don't know I don't want nothing no I've told you I told you where he is that's it I'm going bye so yeah that's kind of pretty the kind of phone call that I'd get yeah some bloke in a park bye at least
tell them where huh you know which town at least please please don't be years ago I used to just near in just up near where the fields are there was this little bit and it was a bit grass and there's a tree and Andre used to like trying to climb up the tree actually and I remember once it was in a summer and I just laid down and I laid down with him and we just cuddled and I just laid on the floor and I think he was like just laying next to me and a
dog walker came up to see if I was okay you want me you want me I said yeah no it's fine in fact two people actually asked me if I was okay I'm just lying down you're blocking the traffic mate you're blocking the traffic no I'm not it's a motorway mate it's a motorway in it no it's not a motorways oh is it oh yeah I just it was lovely just to lie down my little boy but can't do that as a middle-aged man cuz I just assumed I've collapsed or fallen over or something it's
always like in my 20s that no one would even take it that's like oh he's just having a rest maybe sunbathing hit 50 or late 40s oh yeah okay mate do you need an ambulance no no no no okay then oh there was this used to have this bloke lived around here and he he seemed to use the ambulance service as a taxi honestly it's like get lifts home everything I don't know how do you manage to do that he said I got a heart condition okay so I felt a little bit guilty then that's
the whole story probably shouldn't have mentioned it he moved he was one of these he was very famous he was very famous he's he was in all the papers and stuff I'm not going to talk about him but when I moved in there I was told or watch out for him what do you mean he said he's he's notorious and he was he'd he'd been to prison quite a few times for for enough not even fraud or is it called for wasting police time be they call him a fantasist I don't really know what fantasies
was I mean I thought everyone was a fantasist for being a fantasist in fact is a good thing fantasizing about stuff means you're creative so I thought that was quite a positive thing but he I think he kind of yeah he got into trouble a few times quite seriously for making stuff up basically so yeah I mean I I could go on and find the stuff out on the papers because I did at the time had a little look but I'm not gonna do that because it's not not really fair but it was it was
interesting to see the different people that lived there there's this man he's probably my age that I am now so he's probably in his 50s and he used to do weird things okay and one of the neighbors in his block he did in a different block to me one of his neighbors woke up to see him looking through the window so he goes over opens the window would you want he was only painting the window frame outside now he he did it off his own back he decided if he thought all the windows should be
painted red and it's not his building he doesn't own it he doesn't work for the council he's got no right to touch anyone's windows in fact he's not allowed to it's as simple as that I don't know what the rules are about painting the outside of your own flat I can paint the inside of this flat whatever I want and I have I painted it nothing because I don't care about stuff like that although I think pink oh pink is a nice color nice and pink so I just he was an unusual is what he
would do he would tell stories so when anyone new came in he'd tell a story and he'd tell tell it it filled this person in with all the information about the current tenants within the estate but at the same time we talk about previous tenants and it was practically impossible to know who was talking about because it skipped from one to the other and he'd leave the person not really knowing who he was talking about and he said that he started him actually talking to someone about my flat pointing up to my flat and saying
that person used to be and he was talking about apparently someone that used to live here was a wrong and bit of a dodgy person I don't know if they were or not because I didn't got no idea I don't care anyway the way he was describing it that I was listening to it and it sounded like he was talking about me he was talking about me which he wasn't but that's what it sounded like because he didn't really know anything about me I wasn't that impressed with that if I'm honest not that he didn't
know about me but that he was telling people pointing out to my window and saying certain words which I didn't particularly like and he was describing the previous tenant because apparently apparently this is what he told me the he could see up to the flat where I am and the bloke here used to get undressed and dangle himself out the window I don't this is what he told me ok now I don't know how far back he's going because before I lived here there was a lady so this is going back even further so maybe
10-15 years I don't know really don't know so he's weird so he's he's gone he moved on so a lot of the people that lived there moved on in this in this block everyone's kind of still here really just apart from the lady died downstairs so and that was kind of she's gone but apart from that everyone else is exactly the same as what always was since I've been here for blimey seven years in April it will be let's just say six years it's still only August isn't it blimey I know it's the end of
August but I want to jump to April that's like six months isn't it August September October November December January February March April that's eight months so yeah six months and a bit six six month six years and four months I've been living here it's weird really I feel in some ways that I've done nothing that I've accomplished nothing but in other ways I feel that I've accomplished quite a lot I've done loads it's a weird feeling very strange really because in some ways I guess I could have done a lot more but compared to where
I was six years ago and with the podcast I was getting put about a hundred thousand downloads a year on my podcast now I get at least 200,000 a month now so you know overall different podcasts so I guess really I'm probably perhaps doing better than I was having more success than I was progression progressing which makes you think that if that's what it is now so in six years time I could be getting so I'm getting maybe three million downloads a year at least now compared to the hundred thousand a year before so if
I'm getting that a year do that the same way it means I'll be getting six million downloads a month which is all right now I ain't like crazy good but it's still pretty good six million a month 60 72 million a year yeah it's better than six million a year and all three million a year blimey hell of a lot better so my my kind of target is a million a day I'm not greedy am I a million downloads a day that's my kind of target my big target but my target before that is a
hundred thousand now getting ten thousand is pretty easy now and which was my big that was my big hurdle well it's not really a big hurdle was getting to three thousand downloads a day and getting to five thousand that was huge now ten thousand is it happens fairly often quite easily so the next target you know the smaller target is to get to twenty thousand and then from twenty thousand I guess fifty thousand and for fifty thousand to a hundred thousand so but a hundred thousand the two big targets hundred thousand and the biggest one
is a million a day I don't know how long it's gonna take to get there but that's that's kind of where I'm looking at so if you're gonna aim you might as well aim high because I figure this and I don't know what you think but almost feel like the last few years and it has only really been three years that I've been doing these podcasts the way that I've been doing them like the let me boy to sleep about what three years old and most of the podcast I'm doing now pretty much have been
during this time although I've done other stuff you know previously so I just think in the last three years or so has been a test it's a tester to see if a small audience actually wants to listen to what I do wants to listen to the recording so I do that I make and I would say it's it's been kind of been a success in a sense of the stats wise that makes sense so people listening it's been successful from that angle which means I think it's probably time I took it to a bigger audience
I took what I do to a bigger audience and if my small audience of maybe 60,000 people maybe less maybe more I don't know it's hard to tell but you know however many people listen either regularly or once a week or once a month whatever all those people sort of kind of like what I do then there's no reason why 60 million people shouldn't if 60,000 do I don't know if that makes sense I don't mean it's in an ego way just in a hopefully reaching a larger audience and hopefully being a useful because ultimately
that's what this is for this isn't this is about it's I think there's lots of different potential benefits from doing from listening to these things I do falling asleep relaxing sometimes having love sometimes just having company and this statistically millions and millions upon millions of people around the world hardly ever leave their home millions and millions I'm one of them actually so yeah I'm one of those people I'm not I'm not I'm not bedridden bedridden is that I don't know that word but I'm not I'm not stuck in a bed that's not a good time
I'm you know what I mean I'm not I'm not stuck to my bed that's another one although I can get stuck to it sometimes I don't know what a nice term is but I kind of can physically leave some people can't physically leave the house some people can't physically you know get out maybe I don't have to help the support that they need I have had I think for me it's been more a mixture of you know various different things that I've talked about in the past that's sort of kept me indoors but I don't
go out much I don't generally don't but some people don't go out at all really millions and millions and millions of people and some of those people listening are listening now and I appreciate you listening and thank you and in a way I had a curry earlier I'm burping curry curry flavoured burps it's horrible I think with food I like you know eating is nice but you don't want to be reminded of it do you I mean in some ways I'm glad that the poo doesn't smell like the food that I ate because I don't
want to smell it again I don't want to smell any you know I don't know if it would be worse or better but you know if I just had a big roast dinner smells lovely before you eat it afterwards doesn't smell nice now because you've eaten it you're not hungry anymore and if I had a poo and it smelled like a roast dinner and it would smell like gravy and Yorkshire puddings no I don't want that smell back unless I was hungry again but then I don't think I've ever felt hungry on the toilet I've
never kind of got emptied my bowels so I've got more room so I can have some pudding actually I did used to do that when I was a kid yeah it's like you can have some afters you can have some dessert but you have to eat up all your dinner first but I won't want any dessert because I'll be full up then I think to myself ah but if I can push a poo out if I can try and almost will my food to be digested really quickly sometimes I'd go really slow I'd eat really
slowly so the beginning of the meal you know things I put in my mouth at the beginning was such a long time ago that they were ready to poo out by the time I finished the meal so I go and do that and then I come back and have my dessert mmm chocolate cake is that a weird thing to talk about I don't know I don't think so I'm not really the best person to ask am I I don't know what's weird and what's not I don't know and I don't care I just don't know
I don't you should care I don't care though that's the problem I genuinely don't genuinely I genuinely don't care I don't you know I really don't I like the idea of in some ways I like the idea of being there or here for you or for people that are that maybe don't have or ok I like the idea of being company being someone that's company for you someone to listen to a friendly voice and I know I sometimes talk about some sometimes stuff about sometimes talk about stuff that maybe isn't such that's maybe I don't
know a bit heavy I guess at times I try not to do too much of that I try and keep it light but occasionally you know I talk about stuff I'm a human being I have feelings you know I just want to be loved just want to be loved and I yeah I like the idea that I can be I'm still a friendly voice I think I still even when I'm talking rubbish and even I can still I'm still I think and I I think I'm a friendly voice I'm not I'm not a horrible yeah
yeah yeah welcome to lit me boy to sleep you bastards yeah I'm not a horrible voice I'm quite a friendly voice I think maybe not everything I say is friendly but you know it's generally not aimed at anyone in particular and also none of it's really serious I don't you know I think it's gotta be known if anyone listens to these is to not take them too seriously because nothing I say is really needs to be taken seriously just a bunch of words bunch of opinions that I don't really hold much in the way of
opinions anyway I just say stuff and I forget about it because it doesn't really mean that much to me but what does mean something to me is these recordings being useful because there's no point otherwise if it ain't useful if it ain't if it isn't of use to the people listening whether you're listening to fall asleep if you're listening to to relax whether you're listening to be distracted from you know your mind your thoughts whatever whether you're listening for company or maybe a bit of all of those or maybe this other reasons that I don't
haven't even thought of these are just things that people have told me by the way is these aren't my own opinions or ideas these are what I've been told by listeners over the years now whatever the reason as long as it's useful helpful beneficial then I'll continue and I think this is number 711 I think maybe I think so today number 711 so let me see if I've reached the million mark on of on the other one 999 999 thousand five hundred and thirty nine blimey hasn't gone up by much is it damn so there's
still one and a half hours for it to go up I might just leave it and look at it tomorrow tomorrow but yeah if if you do find these recordings useful maybe let me know why that'd be interesting for me to hear you can contact me on my Facebook page you can contact me on my website in fact you can send a message to me on there jasonnewland.com you can leave a message on the podcast itself please subscribe as well if you want to I don't care it's up to you I think if you subscribe
what's the benefit of subscribing that you get to know when the new ones available I think I think that's one of the benefits yeah I think pretty pretty sure that's correct yeah I'm pretty sure pretty sure see yeah oh glory ya ya ya ya yeah so what was that 29 30 31 three days left after today don't know why I'm working it out it's not exactly anything
particularly interesting to come out of that conversation just seems weird September's coming and before we know it end of October Halloween and it's November the 5th which I released where we in this country we have the bonfire night and fireworks and stuff and then I know in it's not just America is it don't Canada do as well Thanksgiving we don't have that in the UK although I think it'd be lovely if we did to be fair I think it'd be the only the only bit of positivity in this country a little bit of Thanksgiving I'd
like to say thanks to yeah because we don't have that here which is very just I like I like the idea of it actually although I do think it's a little bit isn't it is it in December is in November Thanksgiving again I'm not sure I always had this idea that Thanksgiving was like the week before Christmas and that just seems wrong like logistically it's just too too close but I think Thanksgiving's in the end of November which I'd be lovely like another holiday another especially Thanksgiving just just the idea of it just seems like
a really good idea a really positive thing and then after that what we got Christmas and then New Year's Eve New Year's Day and then all over again another year 2022 lovely 2022 what will it held what will it held crystal ball what more of the same surely not it's 2022 surely it's going to be different so yeah 2022 but hey it's still only the end of August still got four months left come on man for four months left nothing we need to write the year off just yet four months we can get a lot
done in four months get a lot done we can accomplish together we can accomplish so much on Christmas I might do a some kind of live broadcast or something I don't know I look into it by then I should be a bit more active on YouTube although I have been sharing my podcast on YouTube but I'm possibly going to be a bit more active maybe even making some videos maybe maybe maybe maybe we'll see I need to get this place organized first and then go from there but I'll see see how I feel so the
YouTube channel may be growing you see it's actually starting to grow again I lost subscribers now very slowly they're starting to build up again but still very small they've got like 537 subscribers I can't say about laughing 537 subscribers which is it's not a huge amount if I'm honest if I'm honest but I'm getting more more video views now than I've had for quite a while it's going up not by a lot but it's growing it's growing so that's interesting kind of I'll tell you actually let me give you the exact statistics because I don't
know how much you enjoy the stats the last 28 days when 277 hours watch hours by videos 277 and 1.
3 thousand views oh I've got 536 subscribers so I've lost one brilliant never mind and that's it really I don't have quite how many video views I've got not video views I had some nice nice yeah I just noticed something now I'm getting a few messages from people Cutter Kite says you're still here that's 14 minutes ago yes I am Selina Justin you could survive a zombie apocalypse thank you Norman Gibson quite simply the best hypnosis therapy online thank you and all your whispering videos are amazing Mr Newland thank you very much Ken Gibson here
actually hope you enjoy your birthday Mr Newland you could survive a zombie apocalypse so what I get two messages are the same it's both attractive women pictures they get deleted because they're clearly scam you could survive it's a shame but that's the way it is I'll get rid of those crappy ones I'm so proud of you and I hope you are too see I don't know if that's a person or not because the title of the recording was number 492 let me boy to sleep don't talk to me about pubic area fat I don't know
how that would make her proud but I might have talked about something that was nice if possible Selina okay you're a great listener so I'll get rid of her not greatly how come I'm a great listener how would you know that for me talking I might know another one it sounds like it's everyone gets knocked down sometimes only people like you get back up again and keep going that could be a real person I don't know it's hard to know it's hard to know one person wrote Ryan this person and it's number 376 let me
boy to sleep and I was probably talking about from the looks of it trying to explain this autumn not fall it's autumn yeah like you've got spring summer autumn winter not fall winter and then someone's writing it's fall okay blimey falling out of his rocking chair anyway that's it I think for me it's enough for me for now so thank you for listening remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy happy happy happy okay and I shall speak to you tomorrow lots of love bye
