Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. This podcast is for all of those people that like to be bored to sleep, yep. My name is Jason Newland, Jason Newland and my website is jasonnewland.com where all of my recordings are available to stream for free and also to download for free.

Everything is free, yippity dippity dee, hope you're well. And today is the 27th of July, Tuesday 27th of July 2021, it is 19 minutes past 10 at the time of this recording being started. So it should be available to listen to by half past 10, quarter to 11, quarter to 12.

So by midnight it should be available, UK time. It may not have a sexy picture on the podcast at that point but it will be uploaded to the internet to the various podcasts who enjoy such delights, such delights like this. My phone is playing up.

It's weird, I bet, oh that's weird, okay now, now it's showing it. It wasn't showing me telephone missed calls and stuff that I've made but I just turned it off and on and now it is showing it, which is not as exciting as I thought. Saying it out loud I realised it was very boring.

So I made a lot of, paid a lot of stuff off today, bills and such like. What's really weird though is I paid off Argos, £86 or something, and I went to the Argos app and it's showing me that nothing's been paid. Very very confused at that, because usually when I pay something I receive an email or something to tell me, you know, what I paid.

But it's not showing anything. Well that's weird, 7, 2, 4, 8, 3, 4, 5, 6, so I paid nearly £500 today, out on bills, stuff that I owe money for, nearly, blimey, blimey, £490, wow, wow, that's a lot of money isn't it. So yeah, it's, I just, oh, that's weird, I don't know, I'm just trying to keep track of it all.

But Argos, I just, you know, so I paid everything that needed to be paid off, and hopefully left myself with enough to pay future bills, but didn't manage to pay off much in the way of like debts, you know, if that makes sense. I mean, I try to pay everything off, well once a month try and pay one thing, but unfortunately loads of bills were unpaid and due, overdue, overdue, due, overdue, so I've been sort of trying to pay that stuff off, but yeah, wow. It's amazing how easy it is to spend money, nearly £500 in about less than 10 minutes paying the bills using the apps on my phone, just like click, click, click, click, done.

That's another £120, click, click, click, click, click, £170, click, click, click, click, click, £22, click, click, click, click, it's just bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. And now to show for it, I'm just like, awww. So I've ordered some tracksuit bottoms, three pairs of tracksuit bottoms on Amazon, which are only cheap, they're about £12 or something each, like really I think it's £35 for three pairs of tracksuit bottoms, so every, every month I'm trying to get something, a little bit of, it's only cheap clothing, it's really cheap and, not nasty, but cheap.

Just bits that I need, like I've got some t-shirts, I've got some underpants, that's interesting isn't it, yep, I got some new underwear the other day, a few weeks back, got some t-shirts, and just trying to get bits and bobs so that I've got something to wear, because that's kind of the purpose of clothing.

Oh this really is boring, this is so boring, you know what, not one person's ever said to me, no one's ever complained, I've had a lot, many complaints over the years from various quarters, mainly women, but outside of relationships I've had many complaints, and not one person's ever complained saying that these recordings are not boring, people have complimented me saying I don't find it boring, I love your recordings and I don't find them boring and they're funny or whatever, but no one's ever actually complained like your recordings really aren't boring because they really are.

This would bore me, if I was listening to this I would be just like oh, you're talking about buying underwear, come on man, you can't talk about, oh that's just, you start off talking about paying bills and then talking about buying some tracksuit bottoms and then talking about you previously bought some t-shirts and then some underwear, next month it's socks, it will be socks next month, it's just cheap stuff from Amazon, I'm just buying cheap stuff, I'm not, I've never had the body, that's not true, not totally true, I once had the body for designer

clothes when I was 29 or maybe I was 28, 28-ish, 28, yeah, probably about 28, maybe 29 and I got myself buff, buff, and I actually got myself really fit, just press-ups and sit-ups, that's all I did, I might have had some weight so I forget, but I got myself really slim, nice abdominals okay, and just in an okay kind of body to wear fairly decent clothes, so I went through a little period when I was buying designer clothes, but not expensive designer clothes, these were like discounted, I did, oh yeah, discounted clothes, but I

looked all right, I did, I did look all right, I got away wearing like little tops, now I could have worn little tops for years because I was skinny, but that's no good, but for me it was no good because I hated being skinny, ironic isn't it, irony is not lost on me, I look in the mirror now, it's like come on, someone's just, that's gotta be, even I look in the mirror and think that's gotta be a false belly, that can't be real, it doesn't even look real, it's just you know, I just got

out of the bath, I pull it up and all the water that's trapped underneath falls onto the floor, floods the floor, it's quite brilliant, got to canoe my way out of the building, so yeah, it's, I never used to be like this, this is weird, I'm thinking, really thinking about like getting myself a bit fitter and not even for health reasons, really just for aesthetic reasons, I don't really want to be fat anymore, now technically I'm probably not any fatter than the average middle-aged man, you know, apart from, you know, some people are skinny, naturally

skinny, some people are naturally quite chunky, some people are really big, now I'm not really big, I've just got a bit of a belly, but I've not, I've not got like really big legs or anything like that, I'm kind of quite lucky that the rest of me is fairly okay, it's just, of course I've got a massive bum, of course, naturally, but that's quite popular, that's very fashionable, not on men, oh really, damn it, here's me thinking I was, see you're saying tight, tight trousers and that shows off my curves isn't a good idea, yeah,

because it's not popular on men, only women, that's a bit sexist, you're sexist, okay, weird, you're weird, shut up, you shut up, all right, you've had enough, this is my podcast, it didn't even, doesn't even sound like me, oh, a bit snotty, that's nice, what a lovely surprise, I've got a little bit of a cold, it's not a cold, do you know, I don't know, I guess other people have it as well, I don't, I don't have human contact, so I don't really know, but when the seasons, not necessarily seasons change, when the weather changes,

like it's gone from being really quite hot to not, but it's not cold, it's cool, and this is more my temperature, this is more my liking, but I know not everyone would agree with that, you know, some people like it to be really hot, I'm not really one of those people, but I'm, I just accept whatever, I just, you know, I don't care, weather's weather, I like, I like really, really torrential weather, but that's me, that's my weird warped brain, but anyway, I noticed that when the temperature changes quite, you know, really drops off, goes

from being like 32 degrees to suddenly it's like 17 degrees, sometimes I get a little bit of a cold feeling, I don't mean like feeling cold, but coldy as in a sniffly, there's not an actual cold, you know, it maybe lasts for a day or something like that, does anyone else get that?

This, this is a question and answer session, that's why I'd let you know that, this is not, this is interactive, I just lie there, playing Scrabble or whatever, just, you know, interact, interact baby, it's an attraction, I don't know, I don't know, guys, I had a conversation with a 75 year old about porn earlier, I didn't know what to do, I was embarrassed, because he's, I can't tell you, I'm not going to go into details about him, but he's someone I know, it's not my dad, don't worry, I think we need to build up to

talking about porn with my dad, we need to, there's a lot of other conversations that need to be had first, if you know what I mean, for us to feel comfortable enough to have that conversation, but this is someone I know, and he was talking to me, he was asking me, do you watch, do you watch porn?

I said no, he said, yeah, I was watching something the other day, I turn it on and suddenly me, my thingy got hard, I was like, oh okay, I gotta go now, gotta go, catch you later mate, nice seeing you, and I just left him in the, you know, just had to get out of the supermarket, it's like, this is, no, just see you mate, take care, I don't want to hear about your willy, I don't want to, I just don't want to imagine that person, I don't really want to imagine anybody doing that really,

it's not that I'm prudish, I just, I don't, it just doesn't interest me, and it's just, I don't know, maybe I'm a prude, wow, I've turned into a prude, I know that everyone does certain things, perhaps, I don't know, I just, it's just, it's almost like, you know, with your parents, I don't want to, I know, you know, I was born, and in order for me to be born, a certain activity was required, unless I was a test tube, you know, I always thought test tube babies would come out made of glass, honestly, when I

was a kid, like, it's like, bloody hell, that's got to be really painful, what if the glass breaks, that's going to be painful for the mother, it's like, how's that going to go through school, I mean, I fall over, and I'm always bashing my leg and stuff, it's like, what if they get into a fight, it's just like, yeah, how would they be able to play rugby, are they a rugger, um, but that was my brain, um, we don't want to really imagine, well, no, we don't, but I am now, thanks, no, I'm not, I'm

lucky, because I don't know, I don't really, yeah, I can't really imagine it, so I kind of can't really imagine my mum, so I'm lucky, I can't, it's beyond my ability to imagine, my parents, because I never, I don't recall ever seeing them together, so I don't, I have that image, I'm free from that kind of imagery, but it's weird, it's like, the idea that people in their 90s could just, you know, I'm not approved, I'm not, I mean, stuff I've got up to in the past, I think, proves that I'm not, but that I

can't, you know, want to go into, but I'm not approved, I've dated prudes, not dated, I mean, the date ends, or not the date, but the relationship ends as soon as they provide prudish behaviour, but I, I have, see, I don't like love scenes in movies or TV shows, used to love them, used to, used to be my favourite part, especially when I was a teenager, that was weird, because we'd all be sitting around, watching it, and we'd all have our dressing gowns on, parents would be there, me and my other two older brothers would

be there, we'd all be watching this movie, and there'd be a love scene come on, and I'd look at my brothers, and they'd be doing the same as me, they'd just be there with a cushion on their, on their lap, looking uncomfortable, it's, it was weird, it's like, really like, I feel my dad, I remember my dad saying, um, can you switch the channel over, this is before we even had remote control, this'll tell you how far that was back, and I said, no, it's alright dad, I'll, I'll do it in a few minutes, do

it now, nah, if you don't do it now, you, you go to bed without any dinner, yeah, it's alright, I don't mind, do it now, take that, put that pillow down, no, no, the cushion's staying, the cushion is staying where it is for now, thank you very much, very unusual situation, but I don't, yeah, classroom was a weird time, there was a straight, there was a time when I couldn't get on a bus without Herbie popping up, it was just, why, but then I used to sit at the back of the buses, and you've got

the vibrations of the buses, and it was, I guess, I guess like a prostate massage kind of thing, so I didn't know about that back then, I didn't know what prostates were, I think only, I thought only women had them, I thought, that's what women gave birth to, you know, use them to give birth or whatever, and so I didn't know, anatomy's not always been my greatest strength, what has then, nothing, I don't have any great strengths, you must be good at something, no, I'm really not, but there must be something that you're good at,

shut up, but go on, there must be, you must have some interest, shut up, go on Jason, you must be, you must have had an interest at some point in your life that you gave some kind of attention to and learnt, you must have learnt something, I don't know, what did I learn, did I learn anything in my life, um, I don't know, I might have learnt, I must have learnt something, I learnt something very weird about the Wizard of Oz, I'm not going to talk about it here because it's not a subject really for

this, for this podcast, but if you google, no, you don't, I'm not even going to, no, no, it's just, it's freaked me out a little bit, I saw it, I was watching a TV show called Ray Donovan and there's this bloke talking about it and I'm thinking, really, that can't be true, and I google it and it is possibly true, and it's freaky, it's just really freaky, and also the video that I watched that showed it had just the weirdest, creepiest music as well, because, you know, the Wizard of Oz is like lovely, upbeat music,

isn't it?

I'll get you my pretty, that's my impression, it's a bit loud, isn't it, so that way I'll reduce it in the editing, I'll reduce it a little bit, so yeah, so I might try and get fit, uh, no, no, I'm not sure, uh, not sure, not sure till, not sure till, might be useful, might be, you know what I mean, so today I did a recording, I did a hypnosis recording, relax and sleep daily thingamajig, and yeah, I'm quite, I was quite, quite pleased with myself, because I actually did something, and I did a let

me bore you to sleep last night, quite late, and what I did do, it took me hours, and hours, and hours, and hours, is I, because basically what it is, is I didn't do what I normally do, so I was well behind on two major things, one was making images for, well three things actually, making images for the podcasts, five things actually, making images for the podcasts, sharing a podcast to Facebook and Twitter, these are the ones, previous podcasts I hadn't shared, because I never share a podcast unless I've made a picture for it, I've

got an image for the podcast episode, I hadn't shared them to my website, and uploaded the recordings to the website, so people can download them, not that anybody ever downloads them anyway, but hey, they're there for people that want to, but I think most people just prefer just to stream, and the other thing was to put the information about the background music into every recording description, where there's music, which is something that I try and do, you know, daily, but I got behind on that by quite a lot, by probably about a week, maybe longer

in fact, and it took hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and hours to do this, a lot of it was cut and paste, other parts was, as I said, the uploading, the downloading, uploading, making images, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, eventually I got it all done, which is good, still in the process of sharing the podcasts to my YouTube channel, I've lost about 30 subscribers, since I've been uploading them, because I've just bombarded the YouTube channel, it's no other way of doing it, I just, I'm a third of

the way into the, well, okay, less than a third, but because nearly 700 let me bore you to sleep, so now I'm about 183 I've uploaded, or I've shared, but most of the other podcasts are all completed, so by the end of this week hopefully it should be done, and then either I'll just continue just to share the latest podcasts, or, and then hopefully the subscriber rate will go up again, because people will see, they'll only be getting a couple, two, three recordings a day, as opposed to like 40, or 30, or 40, or 50,

or whatever, so hopefully that will sort of start to go back, and I'll get some subscribers, and then I'm thinking about doing, filming myself making these podcasts, I kind of don't want to, but at the same time, you know, I mean, the, the, it just seems a bit pointless having the equipment if I don't use it, so, I don't know what my issue is with video, I think, I think, I think, I think a lot of it does come down to how I look, because, I'm not, I think my modeling days are over, that's all

I'm saying, I feel quite, I guess it doesn't really matter, and another thing is, it doesn't kind of matter what you look like, because if people watch regularly, they'll just get used to it, they get used to anything, you know, it's, you know, if I had like a massive scar down my face, yeah, people are going to notice that, but then once, you know, the people that watch regularly, they're not even going to tell you, it's going to be meaningless, it's not going to, it's not going to grab anyone's attention once if they're, you know,

regulars, it's only going to sort of grab attention to people that haven't watched before, so, I don't know, it's a thing, having a funny face is, it's not always a great thing, has it ever been?

It's never been, but it's, hmm, I mean, really, I kind of think, well, why is video even necessary with what I do? Because it's all about listening to me talk, why would a video be required? Because I'm asking you to close your eyes anyway, in all of the hypnosis sessions, of course, did I say only listen if you say, if you close your eyes?

I said it now, sorry if I didn't say at the beginning, it's because I did a different introduction, see, I did it in a different order, threw me off, it threw me off, it did, it really, really did, wow, wow, bloody hell, that's a 28, 30, 31, still four more days of the month to go, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, so the 27th today, blimey, still haven't had that many downloads today, that's weird, oh, that was a lie, it lied to me, told me I had 3000 downloads, like not really, okay, not a huge amount, but

it's still, if I don't do anything, the stats go down to, if I don't do anything for like too long, you know, too many days, the stats seem to kind of average around a 4000 downloads a day, maybe less, so three and a half to 4000, if I make one recording, it goes above 5000, if I do two, three, then it, you know, goes up to maybe 12,000 downloads, but this month, I've only had one good day really, and where I've, it's not one good day, but one day where I made quite a few recordings,

11,038 downloads, and that was on fourth, third, second, in fact, I think that was last month, so it's been quite a quiet month this month, I've been getting like six, seven thousand, but it's been quite, I mean, to me, it's not a lazy month, it's, as I mentioned yesterday, I just haven't, not so much not being myself, but just struggled a little bit this month, it's all right, it's fine, it is what it is, and I know what I need to do, I know what to give myself, to give meaning, you know, to give meaning

to what I do, I actually had a lovely message earlier, this is from Caitlin, this was a review left on my website, absolutely rubbish, and all he does is talk about his bloody ferret, and his bum, what, no, it doesn't say that, absolutely amazing, never been able to fall asleep faster, has 100% helped my well-being, wake up feeling refreshed and well-rested, many thanks and much love, thanks Caitlin.

See, I don't know what, I don't know what Caitlin listens to, can't be my podcasts, I don't know what she, Caitlin listens to, as far as I'm concerned, whether it's these boring ones, or whether it's the more exciting deep sleep whisper, or the, what other ones do I do, come on, someone help me, relax and sleep hypnosis daily, I don't know, whatever, relax, stress and pain relief podcast, yeah, there's that one, or the story one, I've not done any bedtime story times for ages, have I, I need to do one of those, I need to

start looking into doing some of those, because they're fun, they're a bit of fun, so I'm going to look to do some of those, because they seem to be quite popular actually, when I do them, I just haven't done any for probably a month, maybe two months, so I can have a bit of fun with those, so that's what I'm going to look into doing soon, I need to need to make it fun for myself, because I think unless I'm having some fun, I don't think it's going to come across to others, I think if

I'm being maybe a bit too serious, or come across as being too serious, but even when I'm being serious, I think I can still say the odd thing that will perhaps make you chuckle a little bit, perhaps, you know, I just have a memory of a story I told about, about Andre, and the last thing he said to me, that was funny, see, so you got to go back, I don't know, some people don't ask me so much these days, because I think, I don't think I've been the best communicator, I'm not a good communicator

really, I can talk to myself, I can talk like this all day long, and I can express myself, I can talk about anything, I can tell you how I feel, I can be philosophical about life, I can open up completely, you won't get this in person, this is not me in person, this is, this is the real me, this is the 100% genuine me, without any, without any bullshit, but without, this is me without my guard up, you know, when I leave this building, I have to put my, put a bit of armoury on, you

know, and kind of be prepared physically, mentally, just for, for various whatever possibilities, and I don't have to do that when I'm just being me, so I like the freedom, there's a, there's a real freedom of just being genuine, and for me, I'm not talking about other people, I don't know, I can't, I can only talk for myself, but I feel quite free when I do these podcasts, and in a way, it's probably only these, the Jason chats as well, when I do the Jason chat video vlogs, but you said you didn't like doing videos,

I don't mind doing the vlogs, that's what's weird, I don't mind the video vlogs, it's the video hypnosis sessions, and there's something about, I don't know, I kind of don't want to be judged, I suppose, it's different, because I'm, because this is just audio, this is just me talking, and I, you know, unless you've seen pictures of me, you wouldn't know what I look like, and that's such an obvious statement, but you know, I can be anything you want me to be, I can be an eight foot viking, if that's what you require in your

head, and so don't spoil it from by looking on my Facebook page, because an eight foot viking I ain't, three foot, um, yeah, no, I'm, I'm not that, I'm no Thor, um, um, no, no, but um, Loki probably, rather than Thor, Loki, so I'm quite Loki, there's something, I don't know, magical, but something quite, uh, has, there's a diff, there's something quite special about the human voice, and about someone just opening up, being honest, and just playful, and just, you know, that's what I think anyway, and my opinion is not just based on my personal

opinion, it's, it's been shaped by what others have told me, so you know, I would like to include more messages from other people, if you have them, I realize I need to be a little bit more regular, as it were, and I do, I am usually pretty regular, I'm usually daily, but I have these little periods when I don't, and the last couple of months is just been, been a little bit, uh, a little bit hit and miss, uh, for me, whether, I mean, I, there was a time, I'll be honest, I wasn't sure if

I was ever going to do any more podcasts, um, you know, a few weeks back, but I'm pressing forward, and I do enjoy doing them, I do, I do, I really do, I really, really do, but when I was in Cornwall a few weeks back, I actually missed doing them, I wanted to make podcasts, wanted to, not, not just these, but the hypnosis stuff, I wanted to do something, so I missed it, missed doing them, I managed to do a couple of let me bore you to sleep ones, but they're only short, a half hour

each, I think, and, uh, a bit, uh, better than nothing, well, maybe not, maybe nothing really better, I don't know, I mean, I really don't know, just seems weird that I'm getting to, getting to nearly 700, I think, is it 900, 600 and, 690, let me have a look, 600, this is number 695, so literally five more, and I'll be at the 700 mark Sunday, on Sunday, will be number 700, that's crazy, I mean, that's, that's, honestly, that's, that's not nearly one a day, every day for two years solid, nearly, I mean, 365, 36, 36,

723, so yeah, in another month, it'll be, so the end of July, no, the end of August, if I do one every day, that will literally be, you'll have one to listen to every single day for two whole years, in order to catch up, I wonder if anyone has actually listened to every single one of these recordings, Rachel, Rachel, I think Rachel said to me she had, a few, a while back, I hope you're well Rachel, it's a shout out for you, and so yeah, I'm sure Rachel said that she'd listened to every, did you,

did you say that, this is a, probably last year or something, that you listened to every recording, that's a lot, that's a lot of, I don't even know if I, no, I couldn't do that, I don't think I could do that, but then, there's no point in me listening to it, because I know, I was here, I know what I said, although I forget, so the thing is, sometimes in the past, people have sort of commented on what I've talked about, and I've got no idea what they're talking about, because I forget, because I don't

know what I'm going to say, there's no script, I think that's pretty obvious, because if there was a script, and I'm reading off a script, my script writing is really bad, isn't it, I need to work on that stuff, yeah, you need to do some work, because ultimately, if this was a script, I would edit it, and edit it, and edit it, and this would end up being probably two minutes of me talking, if I missed out all the stuff that was pointless, and I just stuck to some factual issues, then two minutes, I could

probably do, if that, don't put yourself down, JJ baby, I'm sure there's more, I reckon two and a half minutes, at least, yeah, thanks for that, you're welcome, so yeah, I just, it's weird, weird, weird, it's all I can say really about things at the moment, it's a bit strange, it's just been strange for everyone, isn't it really, just life is just a bit strange, even I was thinking about going to, going somewhere, maybe go and visit my dad, or something, go and visit family, just going to, you know, do something, and I was thinking,

yeah, but then I'll get on a train, and I have to sit there with a mask on, and because I think trains are still keeping people to wear masks, which I don't mind, but I just don't like wearing masks on trains, I just, I find that the masks make me cough, and the last thing you want to do in a public place is cough, that's kind of like the one thing that you, I mean that, you're better off just to get, you're better off undoing your pants and running around, showing everyone your bum, than coughing,

because you know, you get dirtier looks if you cough, than if you did the other, I'm not, I don't, don't test that theory out please, well Jay said that on the podcast, he said that I should rather have my bum out in public, um, it's his fault, I'm afraid, that's a policeman, or is it the prime minister, I tell you what's weird right, on LBC radio, which I listen to, there's, there's a radio DJ called Nick Abbott, and he spends three hours slagging off the prime minister, oh he just, he just constantly hammering him for

three hours, three times a week, he's not the only thing he talks about, but he's constantly making fun of the prime minister, not only this one, I mean he makes fun of all the prime ministers, but there's this, this is the current one, so that's the one he's going for, on, I think it's Friday nights, he does Friday nights 10 to 1, 10 in the evening to 1 in the morning, Sunday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, on Friday nights, just before he gets on, the radio presenter is Boris Johnson's sister, okay, so she's, she's got a radio

show of her own, which is on, I think between 7 and 9, or 7 and 10, so I think it's 7 till 10, something like that, on a Friday, and I know that I still haven't heard the Passover, the crossover, and I don't think there is, because normally there's like, hey how you doing, you know, you, you, have a good weekend, went fishing, well good, have a good, tomorrow evening, the same time, 10 o'clock, you know, there's a kind of, so there's a little to and fro, and they just, they can't be, can they, with

them two, do you imagine, she's got this next, the, the presenter, you know, she's like, you're slagging off my brother, because even if he's a prime minister, it's still her brother, isn't it, isn't it, you get me, brethren, so it's still her brother, so it's got to be quite, got my throat is, I don't want to get that cough back, so yeah, that was a weird one, it's got very strange, but they're physically in the same studio, or at least, maybe not the same studio, but they're the same building, and I imagine that the studios

would be kind of quite close together, you know, with doors and windows, so they can see into each, each place, so I wonder if she's ever had a go at him, you leave my brother alone, the thing is, she doesn't do what he does, she doesn't, she doesn't do the, she just, she talks normally, she's got like a normal voice, she's like, she doesn't, doesn't stress certain words, you know, like Boris Johnson, he goes, I think that we should really refrain from, it's just, it gets really like excited about individual words, really excited, it gets

really, you can imagine there's a bit of activity going on, you know, it's like, we should, about time we, yeah, and the weather's been, been quite bad, and it's been raining, and we should all, all use brollies, use brollies, and then we can find, it's not a very good impression, but you get the gist.

Bisto. So yeah, 26% power on my iPad.

Can't believe I had an iPad for all those years, I never used it, never liked it, never, never liked it, heavy old thing it was, got it in like 2011, I think it was, I think it was, yeah, was it 2012, I think it was, but then I got it, it was quite heavy, I think it was, 2012. Yeah, the internet, couldn't get a very good internet, so I got rid of the internet, and I decided to have this iPad on a contract with, I do believe, unlimited data, yeah, I think so.

I think, but then I didn't like it, because it weren't the same as using a laptop, because I didn't have a laptop at the time, so I ended up, oh no, I just got myself a laptop, and I don't think I hardly ever used it, you know, the iPad.

I mean, with the iPad I got now, I've got a separate keyboard that is attached, there's two types of keyboards you can get for the iPad, I haven't got the most expensive one, which is, it kind of, the idea is, it turns it into a, kind of turns it into a laptop, kind of, but, you know, it's really weird, you know, with the MacBook, I expected the MacBook to have a touchscreen, which it doesn't, you know, when you use a touchscreen a lot, it's very hard to not use the touchscreen, see, I use like a

normal laptop, sometimes as well, and the amount of times I touch the screen, because I've been using the iPad for quite a while now, pretty much solely, I now use other stuff, but for quite a while, that's all I used was the iPad, and I'm just surprised that not all laptops are touchscreen now, because it's just easier, it really is easy to kind of just like quickly choose what you want, click, touch it, and it's done, or to make the, you know, to increase the screen size, or to, you know, navigate, didn't like touchscreens originally,

I actually had a phone, but that's an interesting start to the story, you had a phone, oh wait a minute, I'm gonna make myself a cup of tea, get some biscuits, and make myself nice and comfortable for this, this really interesting story about you having a phone, okay, you haven't got to be rude, yeah I have, okay, wait, no, wait, wait a minute, I'm ready now, go on, I had a phone, okay, we don't need, we don't need that, yeah, yeah, you had a phone, you don't need it, yeah, no, active listening, active listening is

not needed, yeah, yeah, it's not needed, yeah, yeah, shut up, shut up, stop with your active listening, yeah, okay, yeah, shh, go to sleep, I wonder if babies grow up to be weird adults, imagine starting off like, do you imagine a baby must just think, what the heck, where have I landed, who are these people, they're adults and they're talking like little babies, even babies don't talk like that, who's a good boy, who's a good boy, he's a good boy, I'm not a bloody dog, leave me alone, um, oh, what was I saying, oh yeah,

I had this phone, it was the, what was it, do you remember the really, really popular phones for people that were working, like that had, you know, it was kind of the equivalent to having like a filofax in the 80s, um, I forget the name of it now, but I could use, I could send emails, like wow, sending an email from a phone, no way, and this is kind of the precursor before, you know, smartphones, they're very popular, and again, I can't remember the name of it, but I had, I had a couple of these,

I really, I liked them, and the, they had a keyboard and everything, but one ran out, the contract ran out, so I got myself, uh, it was, it wasn't an iPhone, but it was equivalent, uh, Android with a touchscreen, and I didn't like it at all, not one bit, not one tiny little bit did I like it, I sent it back, that's something that I don't normally do, yeah, normally, I do, you know, it's like, I really didn't like it, like no, you can have that back, thank you very much, all the best, I might

not have said it like that, because I'm not sure if I had guessed at the time, but I said all, all the best, I don't want it, thank you very much, and I just got another one of the phones that I had, and then when that ran out, I got myself an iPhone for the first time, and that's when I realized the iPhones were good, you need a good baby, and, uh, I think, one, um, I'm not sure, but I might have had four iPhones, I think I had three, well, I've had at least three,

because I had the one that ran, yeah, the one that I got last year to replace the one I had, and then I gave that to my neighbor, so he, well, he doesn't like it, but, um, it's weird, you know, when you give someone something, you try and help them, and they don't actually appreciate it, it's annoying, isn't it, like, you know how much that costs me, to pay for that phone, it's like, cost me probably £1200 on a contract to pay for that bloody thing, there, I'm just giving it to you, there you go,

I could actually give it and get cash back on that, I could sell it, and make, and get money for that thing, maybe cut £100 or something, but no, I just give it, don't like it, because it's used to Android, and people don't like people that are really into Android, don't necessarily get on with the iPhone, and vice versa, I'm not really a big fan of Android, although I did have Android, I gave up the iPhone, got myself a really good Android, and I bought it for about £600 or something, back in 2000, end of

2013, no, 2014, something like that, 2013, 2014, so I actually bought it, and it was supposed to have a superior camera, and good audio, it did have a really brilliant camera, but the thing is, the battery kept running down, and eventually it stopped working, after about a year, so I had to get myself another phone, so I ended up getting an iPad, iPhone, yeah, got another iPhone, and then, so what's that, 2015, probably got another iPhone, to 2017, oh, that doesn't make sense, oh, because normally I get a different phone every two years, that's usually

how the contracts run, oh, I know what I did, yeah, to be fair, that phone, that phone probably wouldn't get much, because it's out of date, like the other phone, and I got rid of the contract, so I think for about a year, maybe two years, I didn't have a contract, and I just paid, pay as you go, £5 a month I was paying, and I just made do with the phone, because I don't, I don't use the phone much, I don't talk on the phone, don't really enjoy talking on the phone, and I have

the odd phone conversation every now and then, but generally I'm not really, don't really do that, occasional texting, I mean, for me, I use the phone more for the apps, sort of paying bills, uploading, to be fair, yeah, I use the phone mainly to upload stuff, to upload podcasts, so when I've done the recordings, I share it onto the, the iCloud, which then allows me, which then shares it to the iPhone, from the iPad, and then I upload it, so the main use for my phone is to upload recordings, to the podcasts, so I'm now

concerned, because one of my neighbours said that he's got rats in his flat, so I'm now listening out, anyway, I'm going to go, thank you for listening, take care, and remember to be kind to yourself, because you deserve to be happy, lots of love, bye
