Yeah that's it that is the introduction done. Let's have a look um I think I've got a few messages but I can't bother to read them out. I have I have I'm not sure if I've read them out or not let me have a look but I read them out yesterday.
In fact let me just see if I've got some messages today sunday sunday uh okay right I want to say thank you to Mary uh thank you for your podcast for your um podcast thank you for your paypal uh gift much appreciated. I've got a message from Andres Andres I'm just called Andre but it's a J S at the end. Hi Jason maybe you don't like the quality of the Rodecaster but personally I reckon it sounds great.
Thank you. And Nikki says this is a five-star review on my website says so grateful for all Jason's podcasts. I just wanted to say I just okay just do a voiceover and let me see this is what I imagine Nikki sounds like.
I just wanted to say how grateful I am for all the different podcasts Jason offers after an extremely rough year in the half and a half with pandemic having to cancel or change around my wedding. Do you I just remember okay I'll put a normal voice on. I do put on a silly voice and I realize that it's a serious message.
And this is a five-star review so it wasn't sent personally privately so I will read it out. Okay I'll go back to normal just want to say how grateful I am for the different podcasts that Jason offers after an extremely rough year and a half with a pandemic having to cancel or change around my wedding due to pandemic. We got married on the front lawn last March.
Congratulations. And so I guess that was last March you mean two months ago much earlier yeah a couple months ago. And my father being in a horrible accident and the loss of my daughter in February.
Wow so um it's been a very god really difficult time. And this is my anxiety and sleep have been horrible being able to listen to these podcasts during high anxiety times and at bedtime has truly been a lifesaver for me. Thank you Nikki and I hope you're all right.
I hope you you know get through it all and I'm glad to be useful really. Um thank you for your message. And I don't know what other messages I've got.
Let me have a look. Let me have a look. I'm sure I had something on Facebook.
Oh dear. Facky, facky book. Um I think I did.
I did, I did, I did. I hope it's a new message. Um so I can never hear the noises you're speaking about.
Uh in the background and and I often have you turn up to full blast. The pain ones have been doing you've been doing have been so incredibly helpful. I've had other visualization techniques taught to me.
You're the first to teach me this one and it's the first that actually helped. Thank you for that. So I don't know which one you're referring to Hope but because I've done a few lately but thank you.
I'm glad that what I'm doing is help helping. I've been um wait a minute. You might have mentioned.
Uh okay no I can't find it. Karen says I just wondering if you're going to make any more deep sleep recordings which I did yesterday. Andre and so I posted that.
What was it? Moist circle was the one that I did. I'm not sure if I shared on Facebook yet. Um don't think I have.
I'm a little behind on that but No but I did do. Oh yes I did. I uploaded that.
Yeah that was yesterday 15th. No Friday. No yeah yesterday 15th.
It's the 16th today and today that's a yeah 16th today. Today so far I did a relax and sleep hypnosis daily long body scan. I did also do.
I've done two others as well. Which was. I've not released it.
I've released them. They're uploaded. People listen to them but I've not shared them on Facebook as yet.
So One is the number 30 stress and pain relief. Where is it? That's that's that one. And I did a deep sleep whisper hypnosis one.
Number 370. A few words. Go deep.
I basically fell asleep recording that. Oh so I will share those on Facebook later. I'm so tired.
So tired today. I've had a very lazy sleepy sleepy day. Yeah which is fine.
I don't mind. As long as I get some work done. I have got four.
This will be my fourth recording. So and thankfully when I actually put a bit of effort in. A bit of work.
The statistics showed the results of that. So yeah. I've 9138 downloads so far today.
So I realized 9000 isn't enough. I need at least 10,000 a day. Because I'm greedy.
Well actually 10,000 has been. That was my goal for quite a while. But I'm now looking towards the 20,000 today.
Now that I've. Now that I've cracked the ceiling as it were. I was listening to this radio program about Prince Harry.
And they were talking about ginger people. I just thought. What is this? This day and age.
They just. It is. I'm sure it's just like prejudice against ginger people.
That's why they have a go at him. Like leave Prince Harry alone. He's ginger.
I accept it. But I keep going on. So I think that's what it is.
So I want to put my. I want to put my. Yeah well I want to make a statement here.
And just once and for all just say that I do believe. That ginger people. Have the right.
To go out in public on their own. They should be allowed to go out in public. No.
Of course not. No. I. I for some reason.
For some reason I had an attraction to ginger girls. I don't even know why. But for years.
You know all throughout my. You know. Childhood.
And adulthood. I've liked ginger girls. I've dated a few.
Didn't mean to. They were just the only ones available. But it's just still.
I liked. Ginger girls. You mean redhead.
No ginger. He's ginger. There's nothing wrong with ginger.
It's not. I'm part ginger myself. I had a ginger beard for years.
We have ginger in my family. I've talked about this before. I got two.
Two of my cousins. I've got kids. They've got a ginger beard.
Ginger. Do you know ginger. Ginger fathers.
It's just ginger. The gene. It lurks.
It does. It sticks around. Can't get rid of it.
What you mean like herpes. No not like herpes. Um.
But it's definitely. It's in there. Once it's in there.
It stays in there. And you don't know when it's going to pop up. It might be four generations away.
And then a ginger. Little ginger girl. Or people.
Or a little ginger boy. How did that happen. We have no gingers.
We haven't had any gingers in the family for, you know, 150 years. That ginger gene is very strong. It passes on.
It does. Passes on. That gene.
You mean like glaucoma. No. Not like glaucoma.
It passes a gene for ginger. It does. It's hereditary.
You mean like hemorrhoids. No. Oh dear.
Stop it. Andres making some weird noises in the bedroom. Now, you know, I fell out my chair last week.
The chair, I think, is broken. Listen. You might not be able to hear it.
But listen. Okay. But it's much squeakier than it used to be.
But it clicks. Like it didn't do it because I wanted it to. It didn't do what I wanted it to do.
Nothing ever does. Poor me. Poor me.
Poor me. I don't know. That's it.
That's it. Did you hear that? Anyway, it's gone now. But it clicks.
So I think when I fell out of it, I did more damage to the chair than I did to myself. Which is a shame because I don't like the chair. I mean, I'm not emotionally attached to it.
And I do wish to get myself a better chair at some point. But that's, you know, this is perfect for now, really. But I will look in.
I thought, what's the best kind of chair for me? Being at the desk and making recordings and, you know, I realized a gaming chair. Because they're proper comfortable. And you can sit for hours and be comfortable, which is they support your body, support your back, your spine.
So I might look into getting one of those maybe next year. It's not going to be this year. But maybe next year, maybe a bank holiday, boxing day, bank holiday kind of discount or something.
I can get myself a nice, a nice chair to sit in. A nice, comfortable chair. Yeah, that's what I might do.
Let's have a look on YouTube, see if I've had any messages on there. My YouTube career seems to have ended before it started. Try YouTube premium, go away.
Really go away. I've got a new subscriber, Melanie. Ultra Sora 27 says, man's glowing lol got that sexy growl going on too.
Oh, thank you. Beantown Girl Vlogs commented, this is your calling Jason. Glad you provide this service for people.
You helped me cope with my anxiety. Thank you BC. Oh, very nice.
Damon says, if your hypnosis career flounders, considering becoming a stuntman, that was a great face plant into the floor. Thank you. That's when I fell out my chair.
It wasn't so much falling out of the chair, it was falling out of the chair and then the chair being stuck to my big bum and following me and pushing me into the ground. Yeah. Herb Hubert Shipmeyer says, best laugh in a long, long, dark, sad time.
Cheers mate. It's 3am here and now I have the neighbours arisen with my hysterical laughter. This is now safety secured on my SSD card for future purposes.
Thank you.Me, me, me. That's all I hear.Me, me, me, me. So what's that? Oh, it's a McDonald's advert. No, thanks.
No, thank you. No, thank you very much. So, I'm going to do some more recordings.
You know what, I might, for YouTube, for now, I might just make some, just on the phone. Just do what I've already done. Make some, make some recordings.
Just upload it. No editing, nothing. People are this, people are watching.
So I don't think I need to, you know, it's not a huge audience, but still people are watching them. So maybe I should just do that for now. You know what I mean? Just for now.
It's got 570 subscribers. It's gone up by two. Aren't I a clever boy? I'm very popular.
Very popular. 570. I've actually subscribed to the most popular solo YouTube channel.
This is someone that just does it on his own. Just one person. It's PewDiePie.
I wanted to see what he does that makes him so popular. Because, well, he is really, really popular. I know he's been around for a long time.
A long, long time. PewDiePie. Okay, here we go.
So he's got 110 million subscribers. 4,333 videos. And, well, clearly he's, he's, he's at the top.
He's not the most subscriber of any YouTube channel. But for just like an individual person, he is. I'm not sure.
Let me just see. Top YouTube channels. It sounded like I knew how to type there, didn't it? T-Series is the first one.
182 million subscribers. Cochemelon Nursery Rhymes. 111 million.
PewDiePie, 110. Ah, let's have a look at all of them. See, here's my stupid chair.
So T-Series is in Hindi. Okay, that's interesting, isn't it? The primary language is... Ah, so in the top 10, in the top 10 of the biggest YouTube channels by subscribers. One, two, three, four are non-English.
So T-Series is Hindi. Set India is Hindi. It's the primary language.
They may also do other, have other languages. Like Nastya is Russian. Wow, I've never heard of this person before.
She's seven. She's seven. Okay.
Radzinskaja was born in Krasnodar, Cray. Southern Russia. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Her doctors fear she might not ever be able to speak. Her mother, Anna Radzinskaja, had a bridal salon in Krasnodar, which according to her words made around 300,000 Russian rubies per month. I don't know if that's good or not.
I really don't know. Her, her father Sergei Radzinski had a construction company with 20 workers, which was more profitable. Yes, less stable.
In 2015, Anastasia's parents sold their company. And in 2016, they created the Like Nastya channel on YouTube. Okay.
Firstly, it was a toy unboxing channel, but later was transformed into a channel showcasing visits of amusement parks in different countries. They spent around one to 1.5 million Russian rubles per month. So I don't know what the, um, let me check.
I've got a finance calculator on my phone. I'm just interested, just rubles, rubies, rubles. Okay.
So Russia. R, R, L, M, Q, R, S, R, L, M, Q, R, S, Russia, Russian ruble. Okay.
So one, huh? 10. Blimey! Okay, so there's yeah okay, so basically 105 rubles is one UK pound 105 so one okay, clear that, one, yeah so one million one million rubles is ten grand, so ten and a half grand a month, UK money spending that, I guess it's not that much but it is to me, but I guess if you're travelling the world and you've got a family and you're staying in all maybe top hotels I guess it's not that much is it? And if they've got their channel, her channel is 73. 7 million subscribers see, I want to go there now because not oh wow, okay, fair enough I was going to say well how many is it getting though?
How many downloads, you know, how many people are visiting? well, Nastia and her new DIY room in the style of like Nastia, so basically using her own products placements of her own stuff, a month ago 35 million views, wow a week ago, Nastia learn insects with her dad, one week ago 12 million, what? you're joking me oh no, that's a different person, Diana Beeb so there's another one here Diana Beeb the volume doesn't work that's annoying, so basically the secret to being really successful on YouTube is to be a little girl I can't believe I can't, well I don't know why I shouldn't believe it, but it's like woah like really bad so what does the week hold?
what does a week hold for you? What does a week hold for me?
oh, I don't know if I mentioned this I think it happened this morning I have now secured myself a vaccination for next week, and it's a local chemist, which is handy I say local, it's still a bus ride, but it's local compared to most of the places that were on offer, so I've been going on to the website probably three times a day for two weeks and I thought to myself this morning there's no point doing it today, it's a Sunday they're not even open, but I thought hey well I might as well do it
every other day and there it was my pharmacy just waiting there able and willing to service my every need so I thought, okay, so I booked it and I booked the second one as well which will be in August which means I will be completely vaccined by my 51st birthday, by the time I'm 51 also by the time I'm 51 I want to be having 20,000 downloads a day yes, so please help I don't know how, share no one shares on Facebook, no one shares my stuff on Facebook hardly, I don't understand why because I
thought that was kind of the whole part of why we go on Facebook is if it's something you like like a podcast or a video or something share it share it with your friends on Facebook share it on your page if you want to, that would be really helpful because in the old days people used to do stuff like that they don't do it anymore, I don't know why I don't know why, I used to get a lot of stuff shared years ago, go back about 10 years or whatever 8 years people used to share
stuff, like oh I like that and I'll share it it's really rare that it happens and I'm not sure why, really I know one person said I don't want to share your stuff because you say naughty words sometimes and my friends wouldn't like that, get different friends that's my solution get different friends I haven't really got time for for those that get, those that are easily offended, well I just haven't got time I don't mean, I don't dislike people that are easily offended, although I do I do question their their existence but I I do,
you know, I don't necessarily well I guess I do judge because I'm judging now but I don't know really?
I don't think I'd say anything that's offensive, say something everyone's always, there's always going to be someone that's going to go, oh don't, no don't oh don't, not what you said there you know, and I've made it very clear right from the start I don't care, it's not that I don't care personally although that is true I can't please everybody and I'm not censoring myself because, you know, if literally you went through every single person that's listened to my recordings let's just say over the last three years, June, or is it four years since I've
been doing this podcast the Let Me Bore You To Sleep, so just everyone that's listened to this and if everybody put in their, like one negative comment like what I'd like you to stop doing, and I took that on board for everyone that said it, I wouldn't be making a recording anymore it would just have to cease because there'd be so many different things, well I don't like him when he does that I don't like it when he drinks, when he drinks I can hear in a microphone, I don't like the sound of drinking well
you picked the wrong bloody planet to live on then haven't you, people are drinking all the time it's one of those things that we, wait a minute, what is the right word?
have to do, yeah I don't choose to drink, we have to drink OK, I don't have to drink Coca-Cola but that's not really the point we do have to drink yeah exactly, I don't like it when you when you make fun of, er I don't really make fun of things do I not really, not really I find any limited belief system you know, any old-fashioned outdated, smelly, dusty belief system I'm not really er, a bit of a er yeah, kind of I'm half way in, half way out with some of that stuff because coming from
a Buddhist perspective a lot of the silly stuff in Buddhism, not silly stuff, the stuff that's not really it's not relevant but there's ooh, gas there's a degree of relevance, you know I can explain why it's done although I don't think it's necessarily needed you know, ceremonial stuff but part of that is in Buddhism to prostate or to bow to an image of a Buddha it goes against the, sort of the Western world especially like in the UK, it goes to English people okay, can't even say that anymore, can we?
I guess just the Anglo-Saxon mentality perhaps, I don't know, but just generally the culture the English culture that isn't necessarily religious bowing isn't, to be almost subservient isn't something that a lot of people would want to do, which is part of the reason to do it, I guess if you don't do something because I ain't bowing to nothing, I'm the man, I'm in charge no one's better than me well, I guess if you have that attitude then bowing is probably quite a good thing for you probably quite a therapeutic, mind-opening exercise possibly you know, to
get out of that mindset of being thinking that they're important or more important than others I really am a contradictory walking one walking contradiction, whatever because I see both sides I can see, I can see every side of every argument usually, not every side, but I can see different sides and I think it's something I've always, just not always, but I just never really kind of got my head around how people could have a belief system that then led them to do something really awful like really, really awful and I've never understood that and it's
probably good that I don't understand it because then that makes me in order to understand it you'd have to have that to be that I don't know, to have that brain injury or whatever it was that caused them to be able to think that way it can't just be conditioning surely if it is then why doesn't the government take kids away from their parents and raise them raise them in a way that the government wants everybody to be raised and condition people condition kids right from birth to be completely subservient to the government in every
way and it could be done the teenage years may be interesting don't know how that would work I reckon it's got to be hard growing up with lots of different languages brilliant when you're older being able to speak lots of different languages because it opens up so many doors even if you want to be an interpreter or if you meet someone that speaks another language and you can talk to them or date them opens up job opportunities and I guess you'd see the world differently if you speak in different languages the world would be different
but on the other hand how confusing would it be to be a baby and to be having even if it's just two languages to be told something and to be speaking two different languages it's got to be a complete mind should I say bump a block it's got to be weird for the brain because the brain is going to have to split somehow to be able to understand the two different languages coming in instead of just learning one language technically I lived in Newcastle when I was a kid when I was quite young so that's
almost like another language Andre's been weird he hasn't eaten any of his food I haven't seen him go near any of his water or his dry food either he's been sleeping all day I took him for a walk I don't know what's going on with him I really don't know I can't force feed him although I will if I have to I don't care if I have to get a little syringe and put the food in there and squirt it into his mouth but that's not going to be nice for him he needs to eat
I don't know what's going on here's another example of him not being himself he was on the bed and I went for a lay down I picked him up and I put him down right next to me where I was I gave him a kiss and held him there for him to cuddle me now this is almost like the most horriblest thing in the world for him and he has to get away he doesn't like I don't know what it is he doesn't like doing stuff that other people want him to do normally he wants
to get off and maybe sleep on the bed somewhere else but not right near me I said to him why don't you want to sleep near my face he said your breath I said that's not being so rude so annoying so rude he said have you tried Listerine I said shut up and today he just laid there just laid there didn't even try to get away it's almost like I've broken him in I never liked the idea of that people that have broken the horse in so the horse is basically just subservient that's a new
word for today I don't think it's possible with a ferret but I might be wrong maybe it's possible with everything if you do it enough but he doesn't need breaking in he's fine generally he's quite well oh yes he is he's quite well oh yes he is he's very very well so this coming week I don't know really more recordings I guess I'd like to do something a little bit different but don't know what I mean the cinema is open the restaurants and coffee places and pubs open tomorrow so people can go in there indoors
and people can now hug their grandkids OK so what I'd like to do is do a survey and with a 100% successful lie detector test and ask every grandparent have you hugged your grandchildren since the lockdown this lockdown during this lockdown and I bet you even those that say no will come up as lying so it has to be a 100% successful test I'd be interested to see what percentage of the population of elderly haven't hugged their grandchildren and I'm talking about the ones that are not living in residential homes ones that are still living
in their own home because you know it's a bit different there you can give your kids a hug and grandchildren a hug but I guess in a residential home you wouldn't be allowed would you?
I suppose I don't know if you're allowed to have visitors yet just generally I didn't know I'm not sure I don't know at the moment but I will find out in time luckily I said this last week my cough seems to have resided decreased chair no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no so yeah this week I'd like to do a bit more reading and also some exercise they're the two things I think are going to be very important for me exercise for my body reading for my mind a bit of education but unfortunately it didn't rhyme it did rhyme didn't it?
I don't know what I'm going to read it'll probably be some hypnosis book I'm always looking for ideas I say that, I'm not but I am looking for ideas it's not always no one's always anything I don't know what I'm going to do oh dear it's fairly quiet right now I like it when it's quiet oh yeah, guess what guess what I'm thinking of doing thinking of thinking of doing I'm thinking of doing a super duper boring recording like really boring the most boring podcast in the world I might even call it that the world's
most boring podcast to send you to sleep and it would be me talking but really you might think yeah but you already do that you're already the most boring person in the world yeah but I can make it more boring I can I did a few of those in the early days in the early days of when we first came to the country in the early days we only had 300 grand to get us by but we managed we opened a little bakery and it became very popular and then we sold it and bought candles
that wasn't a good idea but it's fine now we have each other okay maybe that wasn't a good idea Dear Jason you really lost me the other day I didn't know what you were talking about I don't know if you could perhaps introduce these weird moments but I didn't know what minute you were talking about something you know next minute you're talking about something different I just don't understand me neither I do find that oh yeah I'm talking about doing a really boring really boring podcast I'm talking at a level where you will fall asleep
it's pretty much guaranteed if you listen to it if I do it that is you're guaranteed to fall asleep guaranteed right maybe I should do one like this where I just say an out for an hour I suppose I could do that just but then I'd fall asleep as I am nearly already well that's it for me for another day thank you very much for listening remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy I'd hardly get that out of me now be kind to yourself do something nice for yourself today if
I was still talking then but thanks for listening goodbye
