#644 Let me bore you to sleep

Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com My name is Jason Newland This is let me bore you to sleep Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes Now, the stats have been a bit weird today Apparently, Apple Podcasts have had problems And some of the podcasts apparently are not coming up For listeners to see So, I don't know how it's affected me Or my, you know, my podcasts But it has been a bit of a slower day So it's 11 o'clock in the evening And I've only had 7,793 downloads Now, I'll probably still hit the 9000 before the end

of the day Because the day goes on to a 130 Stat wise, it starts at 131 or whatever And ends at 130 But it's usually, yeah, I'd say it's normally higher by now I mean yesterday, yesterday I got 10,998 So, probably not going to get anywhere near that today And I've done, in fact I've done more recordings today than I did yesterday Go figure, so there you go I didn't even do a let me bore you to sleep yesterday And yeah, so that's the way it goes sometimes So if you've had problems listening to the

podcasts Any of the ones that I do Or not able to find them Then apologies And my stomach's now making funny noises I don't have any control over that But what I did do, because I kept having a message come up on my speaker App, no on the website Because I'm constantly keeping track of what's going on You know, all through the day Probably more often than it's useful But hey, there's a message saying about the Apple Podcasts problems And loads of people have been reporting issues and stuff So they said, if you've got a

problem, go to the Apple Podcast Hub You know, where you store your podcasts I just burped, I might leave it in, I might delete it I'll probably delete it because it's very loud And probably not useful So, what I did, I thought I'll go and check out Because there's a place on Apple Podcasts Where you don't store the podcasts I store mine on Spreaker But I submit the RSS feed Whatever that stands for To the various different podcast hosts Apple being the number one That's the place where I get most of my listens from Apple

Podcasts Second is Spotify It's a big gap, unfortunately I love Spotify I actually am subscribed to Spotify myself Love, love Spotify But for some reason I do still get a lot of listeners on Spotify But just probably three times more on Apple Podcasts For some reason, I don't know why If I can actually give you, if you're interested If you're really interested, I can tell you Because I don't normally give this information out, do I?

Let me have a look Right, sources Yesterday In fact, it's more than that I'll give you an idea Out of the 10,000 and 90 10,989 or whatever it was yesterday There's lots of different podcast hosts But these are the top ones There's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 Plus others So there's probably about 30 or 40 Maybe more different podcast hosts But these are the top The top ones basically are Apple Podcasts at the top Spotify second This isn't in order of most popular online But actually it is Apple Podcasts still are the top But hey, it's going to be, isn't it?

I mean, they're the ones that created podcasts They were, they stay You know what I mean?

I'm not saying that they'll always be at the top Because Spotify is a beautiful creature Spotify is definitely on their trails And third is Stitcher Now this is just on my podcast So in the world of podcasting It might not be in that order But fourth out of the listeners that listen to me Castbox Then you've got Amazon Music Overcast TuneIn Radio Google Podcasts Now I was hoping I really was hoping that Google Podcasts was going to be brilliant For me Because when they started You know, Google, I mean It just, I just assumed That

they would be One of the leaders Almost instantly Just because of The search engine ability And I just The thing is, Google also It lists Apple Podcasts above their own podcast So although they Because they don't produce their own podcast It's the RSS feed, the same as everyone else So if you put in my podcast details I'll just put in my name Or let me bore you to sleep Apple will come up first More than likely I don't know, let's just test it Please don't, yeah I'm gonna No, I don't want to, you go on

So if I just put in Let's me Bore You To sleep As like when I'm normally making podcasts and stuff I like to do that with one hand OK, so let me bore you to sleep on Google OK, it's not number one On the Google search engine Play at acast.com is But Podcast. apple.com Number two And number three in the list is Spotify Fourth, Podtail Fifth, Player. fm Then Luminary Podcasts Podchaser And then it's Facebook Deezer So Facebook is obviously not a podcast thing But Deezer is Geosalvin.com That's a podcast host Podbean OK, get rid of that Stitcher Audible Audible?

Google Podcasts Nowhere In the Google search engine They're not even Listing Podcasts on their own system That doesn't make sense to me Because If I had A search engine And If you own the most Important search engine on the internet And let's face it Google almost Helped create Made the internet what it is That and porn But you know Wikipedia and YouTube and Facebook But Google You'd think their podcasts Or their platform Would come at the top wouldn't you Like it's not coming in anywhere Podparadise Chartable, Podpay, Podnews Radio Online, Podcasts Podcasts Google.com Yeah So

this is page Three Halfway down page three We finally get to Google Now There's a problem there To me I'm not from a personal perspective I don't mind There Google don't exist In order to promote my podcast Well they kind of do But you know Not really But You'd think they'd promote their own Podcast host above Others I mean that might just be That's no good You'd have to sign in I mean that in a sense That's There's a degree of real fairness there Isn't there That they're not advertising Their own stuff

ahead Of other people's Podcast hosts But why not I think I would Just It's kind of like me Listing on my website All the different Sleep Podcasts that there are Online You know It's a few There's a few out there I don't know A hundred, maybe a couple of hundred Not huge amounts I mean considering the millions And millions and millions of podcasts That might be out there But there's There's quite a few So if I was to list Those On my website And not even mention My own, then there's something a bit weird there

Isn't there, it's like Why are you advertising other people's podcasts Why are you not at least Mentioning your own So yeah I'd mention my own I'd put them At the top But I would also put That they were my own podcast So I wasn't Saying that they were the best Because they're not Not really Statistically if they were the best they'd be the most popular But then it's about People knowing isn't it Knowing about the stuff So You can make the best cookie in the world But if no one knows it's the best cookie in

the world No one's Gonna eat it Oh my god that's such a rubbish analogy Okay you could have the biggest No Yeah Or maybe with me If you walk around with smelly clothes on Don't matter how clean your bum is No one's gonna believe it If you've got smelly clothes on People are just not gonna You can't have the cleanest bum In the world It's not gonna do you any favours And again that's probably not a very good analogy I suppose dyeing your hair If you're gonna dye your hair Let's say you've got a colour

to That place I went I went to the field I walked past I've got a story for you I walked through the field today To get to the bus stop And it looked You know with the whole corona thing And people have been laid off And lost their jobs Or been Not able to do their work For months And perhaps had to go and get other jobs In the meantime I didn't really Take it to heart I didn't really sort of I didn't know anybody that Had really done that I'd heard of some people My

own brother he His life changed quite a bit Over the last year and a half But I've got a story I could tell you about That but I can't because it's Personal to him But I was shocked At The way that he was treated Anyways I'll probably tell you this story Another time but I won't I can't do it now because you know it's about my brother But I'll tell you this story another time Pretend it's someone else That you know it's something I read in the paper Or something but it's It's shocking It's shocking

Shocking And So these are people That have had to Sort of like people who worked in pubs People who worked in hairdressers People That have worked in Clothes shops as well Although I thought clothes were quite Important You know what I mean Really I did think like They're kind of quite high up on You try and walk around in the winter Without any clothes on Aren't they essential Aren't clothes essential I mean as far as Items that we own In our lives Shoes and clothes Food and shelter And warmth That's kind of the basics of

life isn't it You need clothes, clothes are part of that Shoes are part of that You can have Shelter but it means you can never go out If you don't have shoes And you still Need clothes when you're indoors Unless you've got a really really hot House And neighbours That aren't too fussy What their eyeballs see You know when you open your windows So I Would class clothes as being essential And the supermarkets can't even Say yeah well you can get clothes Online you can get shopping You can get anything online We don't need supermarkets

we could have Ordered everything online All the supermarkets could have just closed The doors and sold everything Online and delivered it But they didn't they stayed open because they're essential And you're right they are Essential I mean I agree they're essential But also so are clothes shops So are shoe shops But they've been closed You know they've got I think The government seems To forget that Probably 50% of the population Do not go You know clothes shopping For fun it's not A day out it's not fun Probably more than 50% don't Perhaps even enjoy it

I'm not being a stereotype here but I've met one man that enjoyed Shopping for clothes And I'm that man I love it It's wonderful It's boring it's pointless To me shopping for shoes Or for clothes is like having a dump That's it It's a necessity You need to go to the toilet that's it You need some new shoes you get some new shoes You need a new shirt a new top a new jacket That's it Or need to go to the toilet Equal You know equal pairing Equal you know score points To me that's what

it is It's not like Let's go shopping Oh Oh I'm moist You know no I don't I don't get those feelings of Okay it's a lie book shopping I do I get So moist I do Which isn't good in a place we've covered with Little things that are made of paper Causes a lot of damp I love book shops Love them proper book shops Not the tiny little ones you get in towns I'm talking London And probably other cities but I can only I've not had Experience As an adult in other cities Apart from Amsterdam

But I'll be honest The shops I went to there Didn't have books In the windows And Quickly moving on Quickly moving on Did you know I once had a wheelbarrow And So So So So All the different people With the different jobs that's what I was talking about I discovered Somebody Who's now Cutting the lawns in the fields The parks rather not the fields the parks For the council So that person I don't know man or woman I've got no idea it's not really relevant It could be relevant actually but at the point at the

moment it's not relevant but it will be because it is a predominantly, well, they did the whole of the park.

We haven't been out today have we? It's the first day that we've not been out for ages. We've been going out every day for at least a couple of weeks haven't we? Since the weather's got better. Well we were going out most days even when the weather was rubbish.

I did, I used to have a Geordie accent. I grew up from the age of probably 2 to the age of 4. Or maybe even 5 in Newcastle. So therefore I learnt to speak Geordie.

That's where I learnt to speak. That was my, you know what? I think that helped me. Because I think people up in, up like North.

A lot, I think a lot more chatty than maybe in the South. And they speak quicker. Definitely speak quicker.

Not everyone obviously but. So I learnt to speak. I did used to have a stutter.

I'm sure, I don't think I used to have a stutter. But I've noticed when I go. And relax.

It doesn't matter, I know you don't judge me. I know some of you do. But I know most of you don't.

I don't know if he's like either he's landed uncomfortably or he's just trying to shake off the fleas. Give me fleas again. Dirty man.

Anyway. Well. Here's the thing right.

I was walking through the park. And I realized that one of these people the person that stood mowed or cut the grass in the park used to work in a salon. One of the places that's been closed until recently.

On and off for over a year. How do I know? Well. Simple.

Because the entire park was cut. Apart from one strip that was left. One strip of grass was left.

I'm not talking about a tiny little bit. Out of the whole park one big half a length of the park of the little part of the park was left. It was probably 30ft wide.

Maybe 3ft, 4ft. 30ft long. About 4ft wide.

3ft wide. Something like that. Maybe 2ft wide.

3ft wide I'd say. How would you miss that? That's something that's been left there purposely. So that person doing that job, clearly used to work in a salon.

Or still does but hasn't had the work. And they're so used to leaving a little bit left. After they've got rid of most of it.

Leave a little landing strip. I was really pleased with that before I said it. Now I've said it, it's like there's a big build up to nothing.

What was even the point? It was funny at the time though. I tell you what wasn't funny at the time. Let me tell you a story.

Let me tell you a story. Yesterday, well my friend had the jab 2 weeks ago. Or the end of last month.

Her first jab. And he had a reaction. But and I'm going to talk about blood clots.

But I'm not going to talk about graphic details or any medical stuff like that. I'm just going to talk about the story of actually trying to get help for him. This is what the story is going to be about.

So there's no graphic details and there's no medical advice and there's no knowing what caused it. Whether it was the jab or whether it was just coincidental. So I'm not making any assumptions or anything like that.

Or predictions. But anyway my friend, a friend of mine told me that he had a blood clot on the back of his leg. Had them before.

Had 2 removed previously. Deep bone from basis. I don't know.

I don't know what the name is but you know he's got, he's had that. So he knows what it is. So he filed a lump cover on the back of my knee.

You know the crease bit. I wouldn't know what it was. I'd know it was a lump.

But I wouldn't know, I wouldn't think it was a blood clot. But I would seek help. You know I'm like what the hell is that? Anyway I convinced him to go to the doctors.

He's had it for 2 weeks and he's been putting it off hoping it would go down and all that stuff anyway. There's a little bit of graphic stuff but I'm not going to tell you. And then so what we decided is I'd go to the doctors with him to support him emotionally going there.

And just because you know he's a tough guy but at the same time I imagine he was quite fearful as well. He didn't admit it. But it's he's been through it twice before and it wasn't a pleasant experience.

I think he was really ill the first time. Now my understanding my limited medical understanding is that blood clots are serious. It's not that every blood clot can lead to serious damage although some can.

It's just something that needs to be taken seriously. That's my understanding. As limited as it is, that's my understanding that it has to be taken seriously and it needs to be addressed as quickly as possible.

Well the doctor's surgery didn't seem to agree. We went there I don't know we haven't got any appointments. We can give you one for tomorrow.

And he was saying I've got a blood clot. Yeah but we haven't got any appointments. But I it's a blood clot in my leg.

I had the virus jab two weeks ago. A blood clot came up after that. You know just just shut up Andre.

It might well be a I'm sorry Andre that was rude. Shut your mouth. He's in his he's caught in his tube.

His plastic see-through tube. And he's I don't know how he's done it but he's adjusted his whole of his den underneath the telly. I see him moving stuff around.

And I don't see him doing much. But when I'm asleep he must be moving stuff. Because I come in here in the morning or in the afternoon whenever I've had a sleep.

And there's balls everywhere. He's got a lot of coloured different coloured balls. I've talked about his blue balls in the past.

And there's yellow balls and pink balls and stuff. But the stuff his toys start spreading themselves out around the place. And he was adjusted and playing with his blue teddy.

Today he's got a little bunny rabbit thing that he was playing with. Now I don't normally see him playing with them because a lot of them have been behind the settee. So now that it's all in front of me he does play with his toys.

And he's got a lot of toys. Although I do need to get him some more. I really should get him something new every week or every couple of weeks or once a month or something.

He's got so much. So much. Where do I put them? I think he's pretty happy.

That's all I want. I just want him to be happy. That's boring.

You said that yesterday. I know. I can't help it.

Don't knock me when I'm being sentimental. It doesn't happen very often. That's it.

Sentimentality over. Moving on. So we went to the doctors.

Can't see him. And I was just trying to I was trying to hold myself back because I didn't want to get into an argument. For some reason I seem to feel more passionate when it's somebody else than if it was me.

I'd more than likely just say okay and just leave if it was just for me. But because it was for him and because I could see his suffering and I just couldn't move on from the fact or in my mind the fact that this was a serious situation. So what we did is they said we'll try and get you an appointment with a nurse.

You have to come back in an hour. So we went off. There was nowhere to go so we just walked.

I went and got a couple of bits from the shop. We sat down. The only place we could sit was the other side of the surgery.

Just behind the surgery at the supermarket. So we just sat outside. He gets a phone call saying oh you missed your appointment.

So as far as I was aware just come back in an hour. Not a specific time because I figured that's when the nurse was getting in and we might have to sit around for a few hours waiting. That's what I was expecting.

So they said no, can't see you now. I thought okay. He's got a blood clot.

Is this not an emergency? No, can't see you. I was like okay. And I said have you got any advice? Is there anything you can advise? He said well you could phone 111 which is the like for those that don't know it's what you do in a non-emergency or if you're not sure if something is an emergency.

So you can call 999 that's American 911 911 or whatever it is number. But in here ours is 999 and I guess you've got wherever you are in the world you're going to have your own numbers. If you listen to this on Facebook tell me what the number is for your emergency.

Just put it in the comment section. Just what number is an emergency number? And so in England I mean I guess the whole of the UK I don't know I've never I guess it's 999 for everyone whether you're in Scotland Wales or England I don't know. I mean I don't know about some of the other countries that class themselves as the UK whether they have the same 999 just because you're in a different country that's what I'm thinking like it would be if you're in, is it Gibraltar is that a country that thinks that class themselves as UK.

There's a few islands isn't there around the world they're not going to be 999 because they have a different number surely.

I don't know I'm not thinking about it it wouldn't make sense to be calling if you're in a different country and you've got C between you like the Isle of Wight that's still part of the UK isn't it do they do they have a 999 a different number because it's an island completely separate from us with the C between and so they're not England it's not Britain is it is it, I don't know anymore it just seems to be about what people perceive to be for them really that isn't no it isn't I'm just watching

the TV it's not Facebook man oh my god I think it is wow so I just had to pause there there's a newscast BBC One it's kind of like a podcast but televised that they do after question time on a Thursday evening and it had a bloke on there I mean admittedly I had my reading glasses on but he looked like he looks like Mr Facebook but as I look at it yeah he's got that kind of he just looks like him, it isn't him but he looks like him very similar features wow good on

him close up not so much but from a distance but then I've never seen Facebook man close up I mean you know literally he's thousands of miles away always thousands of miles wow wonder how much he's worth now what was I talking about oh yeah so I dialed 111 and they said where are you they said that after getting the details they said can you get yourself to the doctor's surgery I said we're at the doctor's surgery because I phoned him on his behalf just because he's he's also having trouble breathing as well and so

I was sort of saying well we're at the doctor's, I was laughing, we're actually at the doctor's surgery and they won't see us and we're not classed as an emergency they said well we might be able to speak to them and they got the address and everything of the doctor's surgery the lady on the phone was speaking to her specialist to get the consultation and then she started speaking to my friend so I handed the phone over and basically they did the rest of the conversation together the lady on the phone was really concerned and

was like couldn't believe that the doctors wouldn't let him have an emergency appointment that day because you know I was willing to wait there all day the option, there was an option to go to the hospital to A&E, our accident emergency my friend didn't really want to do that, he wanted to he's he's been he's of the mindset of not wasting the NHS time, he doesn't want to go and waste hospital time especially when in these times you know the way things are he's also scared of catching catching any more illnesses by going into the

hospital because of his health his physical health outside of the blood clot again I'm not going into too many details but we went to he was in a doctor's surgery and they basically and they said we'll call you back the 111 we left, we had an appointment for today so this is yesterday, made an appointment for Thursday which is today we left, I had to just keep quiet because I already had an argument with the doctor's surgery on the phone like last month and that was a horrible conversation, I'm not I don't like the surgery

anymore but it's easier just to stay there for now until I can maybe find a different place but you know very very rude woman on the phone when I called up so I don't deal with them anymore I just do everything online if I can so anyway we left 111 called back and it was a different woman this time talking and she was less interested you could say so it was a call back she wasn't the original person that spoke to my friend and me asking the same questions that had already been asked and then

said well it's not an emergency as long as you see the doctor within 3 days of having this blood clot come up and I said well he's had it for 2 weeks well you can always go, she said I should be alright for tomorrow for tomorrow's appointment with the doctors now we were on the bus and my friend, he just handed me the phone he said I can't listen to her anymore and I didn't understand and I put my hand to the thing and she was talking about must have been going 300mph in an accent

that I couldn't really 100% grasp now I've spent 12 years well more than 12 years talking to people from all over the world on the phones, so I'm pretty good at tuning in to the different accents and understanding I've spoken to people that could hardly speak any English and managed to do a full car insurance quotation with them it took a while, but I still did it with help maybe from other people because usually the people that were getting help from spoke marginally a tiny little bit more English than they did so sometimes it made

it more complicated but I always did it, I always managed it I guess my ears aren't as tuned in as they used to be because when I was doing it all day everyday you get used to it, you get people from so many different accents in this country and then you've got the people that have lived here for a long time and not learnt hardly any English and then people that have just moved here that know hardly any English, and then some people have just moved here that speak brilliant English and other people that have

moved here and have lived in Newcastle or Scotland and maybe they're refugees and they've lived for a year in a northern town like I don't know, it's like Scotland or and they've got their own accent mixed with Scottish or mixed with a bit of Liverpool or mixed I guess it would be also mixed with London or Southern but I guess I don't notice the Southern so much because I'm used to being around the Southern accent so it doesn't it wouldn't notice if there was like started being all, alright mate you alright there, and then just

going back to their broken English but like chucking in, you know what I mean you get me and yeah that would be interesting but it is you also tell people from Scotland because they say JYE instead of G JYE always instead of J JYE A, B, C, D, E, F, JYE but not all I don't think it's every part of Scotland that might be Glasgow but there was definitely a lot of JYE's I think it, was it J or G, I think it was G My name is Argyle A, R, JYE Y, L, E something

like that, I might be wrong but definitely it was there was some people who used to say JYE and as a pronouncing a letter which as we all know doesn't exist, there is no JYE in the alphabet controversial I mean yeah, it's funny, stuff like that is it's just little bits that just you get used to after a while but I couldn't, she was talking so fast she was basically just talking at him, to the point where she said, is that alright?

I said, ok and she asked me a question I answered, and she didn't even know that the voice had changed, and I don't sound anything like my friend but she didn't why would she think that someone else had took the phone but I told her I'll just stop you there it's a different person you're speaking to now and then she said oh ok and then she just it's quite weird though why are you handing me the phone do you just keep it, or are you giving it to me yeah, you deal with it deal with

it it's not mine to deal with is it it's always like ok, do me a favour by allowing me to help you oh but anyway basically come back tomorrow so I learnt something new yesterday, that blood clots blood clots are apparently not that important I still don't believe it but that's what the medical health service national health service seems to believe in my area anyway or the particular surgery area and then we go to the doctors woe and behold it is important and it needs to be removed and he's been given anti what's it called

antibiotics antibiotics in order to hopefully prevent it getting worse and to prevent infection you know sepsis little things like that but that might not be important in the surgery either sepsis nah, make an appointment, see you two days time, sepsis nah, that's not important you know what I mean, come on I'm not a medical person but there's a few things I picked up along the way blood clots certain physical issues that you need to get seen quickly you know, it's just and it's frustrating when it's someone else and when it's hard to get them to

even go to the hospital or the doctor to start with because he doesn't want to waste the NHS's time or take up the NHS's time because he doesn't feel worthwhile he doesn't feel that he deserves to be helped so it's hard, it's hard work I know I'm, this is way too serious for normal, it's a normal podcast but it's frustrating trying to kind of juggle trying to encourage him and all I can do is gently encourage, can't physically make him do anything I can't I can't moan at him because he'll go the other way all

I can do is just show compassion and try to encourage him to seek help that's all I can do and tell him that I care and that's what I did do before we went to the doctors and that encouraged him and he went, we went together and we went together again today now today was smooth no obstacles, honestly we went there got on the bus, didn't miss the bus didn't miss the bus, got on the bus went to the surgery we were there early so no chance of the cancellation of an appointment and in fact

the person saw us, recognised us from yesterday came out because you're not allowed in the surgery there's like a waiting room it's a hallway with some seats but the actual waiting room itself, you're not allowed in without knocking on the door and then they call you in to go to your room you're not allowed just to go in like normal and he came out and said, oh you're early it's 20 minutes to your appointment should I just book you in and he said yeah cool so we're just sitting there, we're not talking to each other

because we're just both quite tired, he's been up all night and I had as well pretty much and just, I was dozing off he went in, I said alright and I came outside to get some air after about 5 minutes thinking that he'd be in there for a while and maybe dead I know that he wouldn't have told them everything he wouldn't, he can't breathe he wouldn't have mentioned the fact that he's struggling to breathe he probably would have just focused on the leg and that would have been it but you know, you can't go

in with anyone at the moment and it's frustrating because it's like this this is your life you need to tell people, you need to tell the doctors what's going on but you know it's frustrating but there you go but yeah, so basically he has to have it removed but he has to go to the accident emergency ward and tell them that he needs something removed no letter, no referral no appointment so that doesn't make sense to me surely they'd have written a thing and said well you need to have it done we're going to phone

ahead or we're going to send them an email or something to say that this is what is happening and this is what you need to be done, rather than just turn up and say oh yeah you can't just go in and request surgery, you know I don't think hospitals work like that yeah I went to the doctors and they said yeah I need a new liver is there any chance you know these things I know it's not on that scale of surgery but it's still a surgical procedure which is quite complicated I think in fact,

so now we come home, is he going to go?

is he going to go to the hospital? now he's gone to the doctors twice gone through all that palaver not been taken seriously the first time and then basically the second time being told that he can do what he wants it's all up to him, he's the one that has to go into the hospital and request to have the blood clot removed, it's very unusual I think honestly I've I mean when you any time I've gone to the doctors and they said you need blood tests they give me forms to take, they give me forms that say on them with stickers inside yeah telling me what the blood tests are for what to test for I don't just walk into the hospital and say yeah I was at the surgery I need a blood test please what for?

don't know and that's, a blood test is quite minor compared to what we're dealing with there so I just I can't go to the hospital with him because we're not allowed to go in so it's frustrating I just don't know it's just and the sad thing is I'm the one that worries more than he does probably not all the time I'm sure because I'm not with it all the time but I think I make more of a fuss you know his attitude is well he's dealt with a lot worse over the years so he just

kind of gets on with it but we're living in a day and age where you don't need to just get on with it you know if you've got a medical situation that's really important to be dealt with you can get it dealt with okay so saying that that's not necessarily true at the moment but I'm talking about like an emergency situation and urgh urgh that's all I'm saying I'm just confused by the whole thing but you can't make decisions for other people that's quite a high pitch you can't make decisions I swear the stats have

really gone to pot today I think they must have done because how much was it when I started this recording it's now 8,483 so I'm going to reach to 9,000 fairly easily but I just it just seems lower and slow excuse me that was a bit of a burp two burps in one recording just seems like a very slow a very slow statistical build up statistical that sounds like you know what it sounds like a rude word statistical statistical I was so relieved to get home today yesterday as well more so yesterday but urgh I'm

not going anywhere apart from the garages as far as I'm walking or going until Wednesday when I get my next bit of money because I've got zero money really to do anything I've got enough to get probably some cokes milk I might have enough breakfast cereal to last me I'm not sure but urgh I'm not going out I'm not going out although it's really it was a nice day both days weather wise were nice today probably more so a little bit cool bit of a wind but that don't affect me I mean I'm built like

a walrus I'm alright I don't really I'm not really affected by like standard cold apart from when I'm indoors I don't like sitting down and it being cold but if I'm outdoors I don't normally find myself shivering unless it's proper like minus minus degrees or something like that and the wind can't generally affect me doesn't rock me or blow me over not that it generally blows people over but if I turn a corner and it's windy the wind gives up the wind doesn't I guess if it was 100 miles an hour it might be different

but we don't generally get those kinds of winds here like a really really really stormy windy warning weather warning days would be like 70 miles an hour which is nothing compared to tornado season the only reason I laugh at that is if you live in a place well first of all why would you live in a place that has tornado season why would you buy a house in an area called tornado valley you know that has a tornado season where you're gonna every I don't know how often bolt everything up and you know guaranteed you're

probably gonna lose your roof every couple of years which means you won't be able to get insurance for it why would you move somewhere why would you do that it's the same as we have areas here that are flooded and admittedly some people didn't know and the the flood land so many places that flood like only flooded for the first time the last few years and they're stuck they can't move they can't sell their house they can't get insurance to cover future floods because it's an act of God apparently and insurance turns and it's but

you wouldn't buy a house there would you but some people do they'll still buy a house in the flood area even though they know that it floods why would you live in a place like that if you didn't have to unless you're stuck there and so many beautiful places to live apart from when they flood but to me that to me is like having herpes everything's fine apart from every now and then when all the herpes breaks out and you know you've still got herpes the floods are still going to happen maybe maybe it's not

the same as herpes at least it's flurpes a mixture of floods and herpes flurpes so you might not you know it ain't going away which is flurpes and I do sympathise with people that are in that situation because I've never been we have floods here where I live there's literally one round the corner it's a flood area oh Ginzella or whatever her name is you know the the little school girl that isn't actually a school girl anymore she's about 18 now but she looks about 9 the Greta isn't it weird how young she looks but

I know you say well she's aged 17, 18 she is young yeah fair enough she doesn't look 18 she looks like 10 I mean she's on the TV now she looks about 10 years old and I've not I don't remember ever seeing anyone that old that looked that young I mean even I was really young looking when I was 16 sort of same time as her same kind of age as her I looked young but not that young you know she looks like she's just started high school you know so it's like 10, 11 which

means it's great for her because when she gets to be 40 she'll probably still look like she's in her late 20s so it's quite a good thing I thought that was going to happen for me I thought when I got older I would always have that like young gene going on so I'd always look young so you know because I looked so young then thing is I'm looking at Greta whatever her name is Thumbelina Greta she doesn't look very comfortable being with all those crowds and I kind of get a sense that they've used her

a bit really took advantage of her I don't know like putting her on these big platforms and she's just a kid she was just a kid when she was doing that that's a huge pressure I mean coming from someone in the limelight being as famous as I am it's it is it's a tremendous pressure it's no but seriously it's got to be really weird she hasn't had a chance to just be a kid but on the same side she's managed she's travelled the world and she's been she's a celebrity she's probably one of the most

famous people of her age in the world you know and she's worldwide famous isn't she at least the western world I'm not sure how many people in India would really care about her or be interested but in Europe she's she's publicised and promoted the way she has been in this country I imagine everyone knows her or knows of her fall off fall off so she's on her little no she was just a big thing she's on a ski sled sorry but good good luck to her it's much easier to watch her when she's not talking

though if you can't if you turn the volume down it's just a little girl well not obviously not smiling I wonder if she can smile but it's just that you see when she's not telling you off when you're not being told off by her you know turn the volume down it's just a little girl like how can people be all hateful towards her she's just a little kid and then you hear her talk and she's telling you off that is not acceptable you should be ashamed of yourself how dare you what I'm supposed to be

talking like that to you I'm the adult you're the kid what do you mean how dare you I want to say how dare you to you that's why I had kids so I could say how dare you and talk down to them and feel like I was some kind of important person I'd be interested to see her in a few years time to get her her take especially if she starts rebelling imagine she hits like 19 and she goes through puberty or whatever and suddenly she discovers boys or girls whatever or androids or whatever is

available these days and she falls in love or just decides to have fun and the papers are going to love it aren't they Greta Fumbledina does whatever you know in a night club or the countdown like they did with the Sunday sport with Lindsay Dormackenzie but this would be a countdown to her Fumbledina's, Greta's instead of her getting topless like Lindsay Dormackenzie it would be a countdown to Greta's first smile she smiled she is human blimey I think she smiled a bit more people would realise she was just a kid because she is just a

little kid doesn't take away you know the relevance of what she's talking about and it's just harder to listen to I think that's the problem it's she looks like she collects dolls I don't know just she looks like she might actually rip the heads off I don't know, blimey yeah it's been an event for a couple of days that's why I didn't make a recording yesterday because I didn't feel very well actually after all that, got home just I managed to do one recording I think earlier on in the day or maybe in the evening

and then that was it I think I had an early night and yeah just didn't feel up to much and today I thought it was going to be more the same it was a little bit more the same the travelling and stuff but it was easy it was the first time it's rarely easy when we go out and do things like that but today was fairly easy and I appreciated that come home and just yeah went to bed and now here I am and it is time to end the recording so that I can upload

cameras wherever she goes I'm used to it I've been famous a lot more longer but she's so grumpy the thing is I like grumpy women it's weird, I think what it is I like a challenge to make them laugh come on grumpy grumpy Fina she looked like she was smiling with her eyes there for a minute she's smiling yeah it is her teeth I'm joking nothing wrong with her teeth, she's fine she's not fine, I don't mean she's fine because she's marginally too young for me she's dancing now wow I'm loving this she's being a

proper little girl like a proper she's having fun this is a documentary that everyone needs to watch I don't know what it's called so anyone that hates on her watch this, she's a little girl she's an ordinary girl with her parents having fun she's a human being some of the things that people say I like to make fun of people but I'm not into all that I hate, it's just like come on how ridiculous picking on a little girl I make fun of her but I make fun of everyone I make fun of myself I'd

make fun of her to her face and hopefully make her laugh but not in a cruel way pointing out that someone never smiles that's not being cruel it's just being but I think she's shy I'd say she's shy and she's clearly got some kind of condition or whatever physically that's kept her well she's a little girl she's not a little girl, she's an adult but she's still physically a little girl so I don't know what condition she's got but to have that and also being a public eye is a heck of a pressure I've never

seen girls that are like that, I've seen boys like that like Ralph Mecchio whatever his name is from the Karate Kid, he had a condition where he was he was in his 20's and 30's and he still looked like he was a teenager and he's now in his late 50's and he did the Karate Kid with Cobra Kai on Netflix and he looks so young and he's, I mean 59, it's not young let's face it, 59's not young it's not old necessarily it's not, he looks so good he looks, it's ridiculous how young he looks

and how much he looks like he did when he was in the first Karate Kid movies and for my generation they were one of the most important movies that were made, anyway this is going to run out of battery in a minute so I better go, take care of yourselves bye
