Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. This is Let Me Bore You to Sleep. Hello.

How are you today? Are you well? Oh, that's nice. I'm ever so pleased. So, did I say only listen if you can safely close your bloody eyes? Okay, close your bloody eyes then.

It's swearing. That's rude. If you would like to support this free hypnosis service, which is costing me more and more money every single month, the cost is going up.

Yeah, I've spent £800 since the beginning of the month. Some of that was food as well. But yeah, so I got this new microphone stand paid for software and some other stuff.

So yeah, I've got £20 left in the bank to last me till Thursday. So if anyone would like to support me, to help me to keep this free service as expensive as possible for me, please go to paypal.me forward slash Jason Newland. And the links on my website.

And I'm planning if I can do it next month to get a camera, a special blog or vlog camera for making YouTube videos. So that's the next thing I'm going to try and get that off the catalogue. But it's actually £900 altogether with the camera and the holder.

So that's going to be another another expense. And so yeah, I'm trying to think of long term here. So short term.

I don't want to use the word suffering, but you know, short term, zero money for longer term, hopefully financial support financially. What's the word that's used financially stable or, you know, to be okay, money wise. Is I'm hoping to get out of debt by the end of the year.

So the things that I'm buying now is only a few extra bits left, I need I need the mixer, the roadcaster podcaster thing, which will increase it'll improve the quality, but also the ability to mix and to get rid of background sounds and stuff like that, as well as to make it more compatible for iTunes like the you know, so it's supposed to produce a record and at the end of it, that's exactly perfect. Soundwise, vibrate, sorry, vibration, whatever. I don't know some of these words or what they mean to be compatible with iTunes, which is the standard, the gilden, the golden shower of or standard weather of podcasting.

And then I got this soundproofing desk thing that I'm going to get. But that's that's not very expensive. And then I need to look at a decent PC.

And then that's it. So by the summer, by the summer, or is it now March. So by July, it should all be got August, it should all be got.

And then the stuff that I need at least for this year. And then I will look at sort of trying to pay off as much of that debt as possible. By the end of the year, the last four months of the year.

And then next year's another start. And I'll be starting with a more professional setup, which is good, which I'm liking. And yeah, the odd are the radio show I did.

I don't know if I mentioned it, I've got a new radio show. I did share on Facebook, but I know that not everybody that listens to these, let me bore you to sleep podcasts are follow me on Facebook. So for those of you that don't know about it, I started I started a radio show podcast on Spotify yesterday.

It took me a couple of days to put it together. But I launched it yesterday, early morning yesterday, on Friday, the 5th of March 2021. And I had 28 listeners, which I know it's not a lot.

I mean, 28 obviously. It's more than one. It's more than two.

It's more than three. No, I won't. I won't do that.

I used to do that in these recordings. I used to go through. Oh, man, I need to get back to that a little bit, where I really pushed the board and threshold to the limit.

I talk about, for example, what month was that? Oh, it wasn't 1982. It wasn't 1983. Wasn't 1984.

And I'd go on, and I'd go all the way up to like 2010. And I don't know how people listen to that. I mean, I know it's supposed to be boring, but come on, that's that's on a different level of boredom this just it's even boring to do it.

I'm gonna take my headphones off. If you can hear that. It's weird, there's still a background sound in the room, like a little hissing.

I can't quite figure out where it's coming from. So, you know, I'm always playing around with the knob, with my knob on the focus, right? And I forget what it's called. Basically, the microphone, because it's the end of the microphone lead, the end isn't the microphone that is, you know, the other end is, it's like a proper old fashioned microphone, you know, like you'd have on stage.

And then it goes into another box called the Focusrite scatter thing, whatever. And then another lead comes out of that, which converts it, you can be it's got a USB plug thing, which can go into the back of a PC or computer or, you know, laptop or something. But I've got a converter on it that lets it go into the iPad.

And so there's very minimal controls on it. It's really limited to what I can do regarding sound when I actually record. So for me, it would be, I guess, better to be able to change and control the sound as I record it rather than to try to change it once it's recorded.

Because I can still change it once it's recorded in Adobe Audition. And I saw a video the other day, which shows exactly how you can get rid of background sound. But I think the better the quality is at the start, all around the better.

So if you go into, I've been into a recording studio a few, well, yeah, a few times, it's a long time ago, but they start off with the best quality that they can get, then they do the editing, you know, so they'll edit. So the idea is I'll only have a little bit to edit. There's the odd word that isn't clear.

They did that with me, they said, we need you to say the word umbrella again. So I was doing a hypnosis session. And, and then later, like, can you say teapot, teapot, because it was the iPad, the umbrella was a bit slurred, teapot was a bit too poppy, you know, popped the microphone a bit, even though I've, I do have a pop filter on this.

But it does pop a little bit, because it is so sensitive. Although it did come with a bigger, a bigger, because there's a foam cover on it, which can come off. There's also a bigger foam cover.

But that's for outside. That's for in the event of being outside in the wind, I think. But then, actually, I don't know, because I wouldn't be ever taking this microphone outside.

Maybe some people do maybe, maybe, baby. I don't know, maybe I'll give it a try. Whenever my voice went weird.

Maybe I might give it a go. Yes. I did.

I need to look more into it, I guess. But yeah, I like the mic. I like the fact that there's minimal background.

It's not about background noise or sound for me. Not in these videos. Someone did message, I'll read the message out in a minute when I find it.

Someone said that I really like the microphone sound. But please don't. Please don't completely block out Andre, his sounds, and also like the sound of the birds.

And I mean, I agree with that, actually, when it comes to this, this recording. Andre, if Andre comes to me, I'll pick him up. No, like, you'll get to hear him and I'll cuddle him and you get to hear him making his weird noises.

The if he's around, unless I'm figuring you still hear him, but it just won't be as loud as what it was before. So if he's in the hallway scratching around, because of the quality of the microphone, you might still hear him, but it won't be at the level it was before. I mean, it's quite loud, well not loud, but it was very prominent, almost above my own voice when he was like really scratching and or if he was on date night.

But now, I don't know because he hasn't been that active since I've had the mic. I've only had it for a couple of days, three or four days. So I don't know.

Time will tell. But I'm definitely not trying to block him out because not not in these podcasts. But in other podcasts, yes.

So what I'm doing the relaxation for stress, if I'm doing a sleep hypnosis weekly, hypnosis, the sleep hypnosis weekly, or the deep sleep whisper, which I need to do a new one for. I need as quiet a background as possible, especially for the whisper ones. Because everything is so quiet.

So I'm going, now you can focus on your bum. And you know, so I'm going through the body parts. And then you suddenly hear it's like, you know, it's not ideal.

You know, you're thinking I've got a squeaky bum. Although I have, I do really do have a squeaky bum. So um, I've been well, I guess I don't know if the work is not the right word, because I'm not getting paid for it.

But I've been putting a lot of time into what I'm doing, trying to, you know, learn the software. And although I can't afford the software now. So it's 50 quid.

So I had it on trial for, I think about a week. And I built some videos. I also, I'm not sure if I've used the audition yet the audio, I played around with it.

I also went on to Photoshop as well. So there's there's bits and bobs that I've learned. But I can't use it anymore until the end of the month when I can put it, or when I've got the 50 pounds to pay for it.

But it's a really good software. And as I know, there's free stuff out there. But I still have to go through the process of learning how to use the free stuff.

When I'm going to be using Adobe, that's what I'm going to be using. So I might as well just wait until I can pay for that. So I'm not going to bother us because I can't just go Oh, I'll use bloody booby, booby cameras, video software.

And it's free. Because there are some good free ones out there. Apparently, very basic.

Some of them, I think some of them are pretty good. I think I don't know. But I imagine that the good ones offer the chance to pay.

And you know, then you get more facilities available to you more apps or more, you know, more stuff that you can do. See, in the old days, because you might say, but JJ, you was on YouTube for years and years and years for since 2007. In fact, I mean, you must have edited a video before.

Yeah, I did. I did a video of edited, probably over 1000 videos. But yeah, well over 1000.

But and most of it was pretty basic. The editing I did. And I used to use Windows editing, windy Windows Video Editor, which used to get with the PC.

In fact, I don't. Maybe it's still available. Is it anyone? I should check because it is I could use that easy because I spent years using it.

And it's a very simple, just like I used to use audacity to edit my audio. And that's a free software. I didn't use it because it was free.

I use it because it was easy. For me, that was more important. But I did also I bought I bought software over the years, I've got Photoshop on a disk, it's outdated now though.

I had a video software, I had audio software. I've had the voice converter, you know, voice to text, transcriber, software. In the past, I've had website building software.

Going back gone, man, I've had so many different things. Going back to like 2000. A lot of stuff I didn't even bother using or it wasn't really useful to me.

Because I wasn't, I just wasn't really in that situation where I needed it. I didn't really find dragon software to be good enough. It's expensive.

And that's the the one that transcribes your voice to text and I never found it to be good enough. But now all that technology has really improved, really improved. And I think Google's one of the best.

If you just I think it's Google Docs, and you can transcribe. So you just talk and it writes it out. And it doesn't do it for long periods of time for some reason.

Which I think would be a really if they sold it, they sold that option for people to be able to transcribe an audio recording into text on Google Docs. They could charge people and I think people will pay because transcribing is expensive. It's an expensive occupation really is.

And also to have the option where you could talk into Google Docs and they could transcribe everything you say for you know for like an hour like now. I could have Google Docs on my tablet recording me whilst I'm talking. Which means I could get transcribed as I record or doing all at the same time.

But Google Docs will cut off after a minute maybe or two minutes. So yeah it's not really ideal. However I think I've found a solution for that.

Again only through watching YouTube videos on people that do this, professionals that use these software packages. And this person said I've saved the video but I can't remember what it is that they called it. But basically it's a transcribing software.

So and it's part of the Adobe package but you pay for it. It's extra. It's an add-on.

So this I found one add-on but it was they were charging money per amount of transcriptions. Which isn't really what I want. I think my one of my problems apart from being too handsome is I mean both length and girth.

Wow who can say that. No I think one of the things is I'm too prolific at times. Then maybe prolific's not the right word if you spread it out over 15 years.

So 15 years of so I've got maybe I don't know 1500 recordings maybe maybe more. I've lost count. Maybe getting on to the 2000 now.

I don't know not all of them are usable. But over 15 years it's not that much. But the last few years it's increased.

Although this year I've been a bit slow. I think I've not produced huge amounts this year. Maybe compared to last year.

So but I think part of that is because I'm now trying to do other things as well. Which I don't want it to be a distraction necessarily. But I also don't want to stand still.

I don't want to be here in five years time still doing just the same podcasts I'm doing. Unless they're really popular. But even then if I had a million downloads per episode on this on the four main podcasts that I do.

I'd still want to do more. I still want to do other things. Even though I'd be financially efficient.

I don't know what's the right word. I'd be sorted. I mean a million downloads per episode.

I mean that's huge. For someone like me that's huge. Absolutely massive.

But I want to do other things. And one of the things I want to do I'm doing. I'm doing those things.

Two of the things. One is to start get back to making the videos on YouTube. Which is what I'm doing.

Although I have to take a break from that until I can afford to edit the videos. So I'm not going to do any more videos on YouTube until I'm able to. Unless I record something on my phone and just upload it.

I might do that. That's yeah that's possible. It's only like a couple of weeks away before I can get back to that.

So it's fine. But what I've noticed is since I've started doing more videos and we're talking like one a day. My subscription rate's gone up.

I mean not a huge amount. But you know it's like every day I've been getting probably a couple of subscribers extra. And before that it stagnated at 500.

I got up to 531 or 530. I think it was before I started making new recordings about a week ago. So in the last week it's gone up by about 12 subscribers.

I know 12 subscribers is not a lot. You know I do know that. But I hadn't had really much in the way of increased subscribers for a long time.

I was getting increased subscribers over time. I mean I started off with no subscribers and then I ended up with 530. But it took two years to get that.

You know this is the complete opposite. On YouTube where people are bragging about how many subscribers they've got and how quickly they've gotten. I'm kind of the opposite.

Yeah I spent two years and I got 530 subscribers. Follow my lead. Let me tell you how I did it.

I can tell you all the tricks. So yeah it's I see how it's grown. I think one of the probably one of the benefits I have over other podcasters apart from being beautiful.

Although I've decided this time I'm not going to I'm not going to take advantage of my beauty as much as I used to. I've decided to be a bit more classy and I'm not going to show as much cleavage. That's it.

No more basques or swimsuits. Those no no more ASMR videos pretending to be doing an ASMR video when in fact all I was doing was showing you my heathen bosom. Nope I'm not going to do that anymore.

I did it in the past. I took advantage of the situation. I apologize.

I couldn't help it but you know I knew that the audience was there and the audience would like it. But now I'm going to just try to stay a bit more family friendly. You know I want to be known.

I want to be known professionally as a professional person. Not just as a a glamour model and there's nothing wrong with being a glamour model. Trust me I was one for a long time and it's an amazing experience.

But I'm not doing that anymore. I want to be I suppose in a way I'd like to be taken a bit more seriously. You know I'd like to I'd like people to put comments on like unlike the videos before.

I want to see comments like I really like I really like what you do. The the quality of the content it's very helpful to me. You said something that I needed to hear so thank you.

A set of comments from the past like can you just wobble a bit more. Can you jump up and down and wobble them. No.

You know what I mean. So I trying to grow as a person. I really am trying to develop as a human being.

A human. I'm giving it a go man. I'm giving it a go.

So one of the things I've got going for me is it's both a bless and possibly an opposite. Is my videos are quite long. Yes obviously these ones like for YouTube an hour long video is a long video.

There are lots of videos out there that are long but the majority of YouTube videos are short. Like a long video on YouTube is 20 minutes. That's a long video.

So any any popular YouTuber would you know they would say that like a 20 minute YouTube video is they might do one occasionally like a Q&A or a live broadcast that might last for a bit but it's rare and those videos probably won't get the views. Although they might do but they possibly won't get the same views as many as the five minute videos. And I guess part of that might be because someone might watch a five minute video or four minute video and watch it again because they enjoyed it so much and watched it a few times.

No one's going to re-watch an hour long video. Well they might, me, because of the fantasticness of it. There's something glorious isn't there about about my videos.

Something it's almost romantic very sticky and romantic like a chocolate eclair in the shape of a nipple. I don't know you know it's very I don't know just I seem to some people seem to like what I do. I don't know why I don't really get it if I'm honest.

I suppose there's the honesty you get with me. You know that I'm not rehearsing anything that I ever say. I would say that would be evident for the simple fact that I don't say anything.

But I don't rehearse. I don't know what I'm going to say ever. Sometimes I know what the topic's going to be.

Very rare on the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcasts. But when I do a sleep hypnosis weekly my preferred way of doing it is to at least have an idea of a technique. You know for example if it's a body scan let's focus on the body scan but do this a little bit different.

Focus on the body parts instead of sequentially from the head down to your toes. Maybe start on your bum. I've got to think about bums today.

And then move to the knees. Then move to your shoulders. And then move to your nipples.

Bums and nipples that's definitely the topic of the conversation. It's not really is it? It's not really. I just said the words.

Nipples are weird on men. No one's ever actually sussed out why men have them. Which makes me think that the human beings have them anyway.

And this whole thing of well nipples are there for women because they feed babies. I think they were there anyway. It's like a double use in a sense.

They were already there. But yeah they are obviously used as the entrance or the exit for the milk to be squirted out. But they were already there because the blueprint of the human body includes nipples as well as appendix.

Another part of the body which isn't necessarily useful. I think it might be. Isn't it useful in infancy to help produce to something.

To help with milk consumption or to or immunity or something. I don't know. I could google it but I don't care.

I don't really care. I don't have appendix anymore. So I'm not emotionally involved.

I'm not in. For anyone out there that has appendix. I can't.

I'm not part of your little gang anymore. I don't have appendix. I haven't had appendix since 1982.

So I can't. I can't relate to you at all. You're like an alien to me.

See I pretended to have appendicitis just to have time off school. And then they took my appendix out. Now I was getting pains in my stomach.

But I was exaggerating them so I could have time off school. And eventually they said well we think you've got grumbling appendix. I said grumbling? They're proper moaning.

And they laughed. We had a big party. Patted me on the back.

Cut me toenails. I don't know why that was. I think one person just liked cutting toenails.

And then I had my appendix out which is one of the best weeks of my life. Genuinely. I've got a neighbor downstairs keeps slamming the door.

But I know for a fact the door doesn't slam like that on its own. It needs some help. You need to like push it for it to slam like that.

Or pull it really hard. It shakes the whole building honestly. I would say it's like an earthquake but obviously it's not like an earthquake at all is it.

But it does shake the building. Though earthquakes can shake the building. The closest thing to an earthquake I've ever had.

When I actually thought that it was an earthquake. Was when I was living in Stratford East London. And it was 1996.

Probably about March time. And the whole. I was there with my cousin who was my landlady.

The whole house shook. Like proper. Proper.

Shook. Like really. You could hear it.

Never experienced that before. Ever. And I remember me and my cousin were both looking at each other and thinking the same thing.

Like we really did think it. First of all we thought it was an earthquake. And secondly I don't want to die with him.

Or her. I don't want to die with her. It's like I don't want that person to be the last person I see.

I think it's mutual on that one. She obviously wanted her husband. And I pretty much took anyone.

Any stranger outside. Over her. Ooh.

That's rude. Now we had a weird relationship. We kind of.

We cared about each other but we didn't get on. Really. But we did care.

It was. I don't know. Strange one.

But. We went out of the house. Because the shaking stopped.

My shaking didn't stop. But the building shook. It stopped shaking.

We went out the front of the house. And everybody else in the whole road. Well not everybody.

That's an exaggeration. Because a lot of people were at work. Unless it was a Saturday.

I don't know. But anyway we came out. And loads of other people were doing the same.

Like what the hell was that? And none of us knew. All we knew is the whole street shook. And it wasn't just the sound.

It was the loud. It wasn't just the shaking. It was the sound.

A massive roar. And it turned out a bomb had gone off in Docklands. Which then led to me getting a job in Canary Wharf.

I'd applied for this job as a security. They turned me down. They said no thanks.

You're not suitable. And then they phoned me up. I think a day after the bomb.

Or two days after the bomb went off. Saying. Do you still want that job? We need people desperately.

I said I thought you said I wasn't suitable. You said you're not. We can't be fussy.

I said oh that's nice. I said why? What job have you got then? He said Canary Wharf. I said you're joking.

He started laughing. He said no. You have to put extra security in there.

In case another bomb goes off. In case someone tries to plant another bomb. So that's my job.

To be on a bomb site. Not just one. But a possible future bomb site as well.

He said. He started laughing again. I said yeah.

I said yeah all right then. I didn't really have any fear back then. I figured come on.

They're not going to do the same in the same place. Plus I'd lived in London for years. Bombs going off.

It's just not really a very nice subject. So I'll stop talking about it. But yeah.

Lots of lots of bombs. Lots of terrorism in the UK. And that's the thing that.

It's ironic actually. Because the American government actually supported the terrorists. Didn't know that did you? No you didn't know that.

It's true. Yep. There you go.

So I. How did I get talking about that? How did I get to talk about that? I didn't want to talk about that. How did I get to there? So I wasn't talking about security. I wasn't talking about any of the stuff.

I wasn't talking about Stratford. I wasn't talking about my weird relationship with my cousin. I wasn't talking.

I could list a lot of things. I wasn't talking about Legos shaped as onions. I wasn't talking about licking the carpet.

No there's lots of things I wasn't talking about. Oh so I did the the Spotify podcast. And that's another thing.

As I was talking about things I'm doing. Videos. So doing the videos.

One of the benefits of my videos is they're long. Which means that those that like what I do. Listen or watch for longer.

And when with the algorithm on YouTube. They're very into length. Rather than girth.

So you got the the short videos. That's the girth. They like length.

I suppose if you've got lots of girth. You've got lots and lots of different videos. Short ones.

And you get lots of people watching them. Of course that's the algorithm is going to go. But they do have a special algorithm apparently for length.

So if they favour length. And so they you know you get to. I suppose you get to scratch an itch that they can't reach themselves.

Anyway. If you. Because my videos are so long.

It means that the length. That the the amount of hours that people listen to me. Is quite high in proportion to the really the amount of people that listen.

So I don't get a lot of views. But those that do listen or watch. Watch for quite a long time.

Which is quite good. And with YouTube really. From my experience.

And I've got a lot of experience. But just not recently. Is.

It's probably the same with podcasting as well. Is to be. What's the right word? Not competent.

Regular. It's the words regular. But it's another word.

Um. Consistent. Consistent.

So. If I was consistent with my podcast. I would produce a let me boy to sleep every single day.

Now I don't do one. I do. I go through periods when I do one every day for weeks and weeks.

And then I perhaps have a break. I don't do one for a couple of days. Sometimes I don't do one for a week.

If I you know. If I'm not very well or whatever. But I'm fairly consistent.

You know. I'm still doing them. It's almost like it's a chore.

When I'm still. Jason have you done your let me boy to sleep podcast today? I'm doing it. I said I'm doing it.

Have you done it yet? No. I'm gonna. Jason have you done the podcast? I said I'm gonna do it.

I will when I feel like it. Mmm. I wanna watch the Xbox.

So yeah. I try to do that. But then the deep sleep whisper hypnosis.

I should really should. It would be advantageous both to the podcast listeners and to myself to make a deep sleep whisper recording every day. But I don't.

The same is. I mean everyone's a winner. Everyone's a winner dinner.

Bina when they meet me. You apart from those that don't like what I do. But why would they be listening? They wouldn't.

What day? No exactly. So stop going on. So I. Consistency.

So that's something I'm trying to get behind with. Get behind. Get in line with for the YouTube channel.

One video a day. Now I can't do that at the moment. But I will.

I have done it for the last few days. And the subscriptions gone up. The other thing with YouTube is quality is important.

Video quality. Now I can't offer video quality at the moment with an iPhone. Admittedly the iPhone is pretty good compared to how it used to be.

And I was making videos in the iPhone in 2011. I was making videos on the iPhone. Not this iPhone I've got now obviously.

So 10 years ago. Blimey. Thing is in those 10 years I've only had three iPhones.

So that's not a bad going is it? I've still got all three phones. I've lent my friend the second one that I had. The one I had last year.

Because that was fine. It was working fine. But I just wanted an upgrade really.

And there was a special offer going on. So I thought yeah I'll have that. And it was the phone only.

No data. Nothing like that. SIM free.

So I had to get my own SIM card which I already had. See now I've got a SIM card separate which is unlimited internet. Which is something that I do need.

Because I can now upload my podcasts on my phone using the phone data. And when I do stuff on the SoundCloud podcast I upload. I'm still in the middle of doing that as well.

So did I tell you? Did I tell you? I've opened a SoundCloud podcast. And you can probably find it just by putting my name in actually in SoundCloud. There's about 240 recordings on there at the moment.

There's it's basically Jason Newland's podcast. Brackets no ads. So all of the recordings would be no adverts.

For those that want to listen without adverts and don't want to support the free service. So it's there. Because I've had a few people that have just blasted me.

Like just bombarded me with messages and like for ages. And it's just I thought okay I'll do that. And then they'll stop asking.

So that's what I've done. So I'm doing that. It gives people the option which I think is fair.

And I'm all about fairness. I really I love the idea of giving people options. You know I think that's probably why I do so many different things.

It's all connected isn't it? But I do different things. So I do the you know although I don't do much pain relief. Although that's really the that was my main reason I got into all this stuff.

That's a bit sad really. I feel a little bit sad about that. Because I really believed that I could be a world renowned pain relief expert.

Or not even expert. Just provider. Doer.

You know to actually help people with chronic pain using hypnosis. And to be worldwide known. And help millions of people along the way.

But it just never happened. It just didn't go that way. The only thing people wanted was relaxation and sleep recordings.

Which at the time was a bit boring for me. Oh Andre's awake. Hello Andre.

You know back then 2006, 2007. I did some relaxation sessions and some sleep sessions. But it was the pain relief that I was interested in.

Like no we want more sleep stuff. We want more sleep stuff. We'd rather just complain about the pain.

Go online and we don't actually want any help with it. We just want to complain about it. The amount of people online who does anybody know any way of helping with sleep? Have you not heard of Google? There's so many.

I can't imagine. Again maybe not with these podcasts. Because they're so damn entertaining.

But the sleep. The long sleep recordings. Especially the ones with the music.

I can't imagine many people will be able to stay awake through those. But with the mentality of some people. They would actually fall asleep.

Then wake up. And then say I didn't sleep. And some people say that.

So I never sleep. Well you'd be dead then. Simple fact.

You do sleep. Otherwise you'd be dead. People say I haven't slept in 10 years.

You have. Are you alive? Yes. Then you have slept.

So stop lying to yourself. What they mean is I haven't slept in a way that they want to sleep. In a way that they feel refreshed afterwards.

And I understand that. I do. It's lovely to fall asleep.

Wake up and feel wow. I've just slept eight hours all the way through. Like you're like a little baby.

I slept all the way through. Aren't I good? And you feel refreshed and wonderful. I hate to break it to you.

But I don't think many people really have that experience very often. It's not like a common thing of like waking up feeling yeah. The common way to wake up is to feel a bit groggy.

But that only lasts for a short time. Get up splash some cold water on your face. Have a nice drink of water.

Then have a nice cup of coffee. If it's winter as soon as you go out in the cold you're going to be awake. You know so it's probably once or twice a year I'll wake up feeling whoa.

Yeah baby. Now that was a good sleep. So it's happened maybe 70, 80 times in my lifetime.

Probably less actually. I'd say probably 60, 50 times I've woken up feeling yeah baby. That's it.

Partly because I'm not really a morning person. I'm a stay up all night person. Naturally that is my go-to.

Maybe not stay up all night but at least be up till maybe three. Although at the moment I'm up pretty much all night. And I like to sleep in bursts.

You know little bits here and there. I've got a lot to do. And if I'm tired I sleep.

And sleeping's easy for me. I don't struggle to get to sleep. So which is quite good.

I mean if I was sitting here with insomnia making recordings on sleep recordings. Yeah I had insomnia. There'd be something a bit a bit off with that.

A little bit. A little bit. Yet on the flip side of that I make recordings for people with anxiety and stress and stuff.

And I do have that stuff. But again I am able to manage it. So but that was because I was trying to target an audience who I could relate to or could or who could relate to me off from that angle of being.

I wanted to be able to talk to an audience and say look I have been where you are. You know in a certain in a certain level. On a certain level I've been there.

And I can talk about it. And I can hopefully help with it. With your situation.

So that's where that podcast kind of developed from. Maybe now that I've got a microphone that's better quality. Perhaps the chronic pain release sessions would be more popular.

Because I've listened back to some of those recordings and the honestly the content for me. I know it's I'm not bigging myself up. I ain't flexing.

That's a that's a new term. I'm not flexing. But some of the content is pretty good.

But the quality of the sound is not so good. And I don't know why I I don't know. Maybe I just I have tried to improve over the years.

I have. Maybe I just take a bit more bit longer to get there. I mean it's not like a decent microphone has just been invented.

But it was to set up. It was just even with a decent mic the computer would be buzzing away. The laptop would be buzzing away in the background.

Because the computer would the microphone would be connected to the computer via the other thing. But now with the iPad and I guess the MacBook would be quiet as well. If the iPad's quiet.

I don't know. But according to my brother PC should be quiet now as well. Because I don't have the spinning disc anymore.

Although my PC does. So it's it's it's a you know you know what I mean. So it's really it's really really strange.

Did the hospital radio. Should I do another one? Should I? Would I? Could I? Have I? No I haven't. Will I? Not sure.

28 listeners yesterday. I did promote it on Facebook and Twitter. So there's a few thousand people that may have seen the post.

But you know to be fair on Facebook I don't have a lot of interest from people on Facebook about anything I do. There's a handful of people. It's the same people pretty much nearly all the time that are interested and contact me.

I don't have on Facebook. I do not have a what I would call an interactive audience or an active audience. I do have an active audience on my podcasts.

Like as far as people listening to them. And the audience on YouTube again like 530 what's it now 542 subscribers. And my videos they're not getting many views.

I mean the one a week or two ago has got about 60 or 70 views. Which is just you know a tiny tiny number. So it would be it's interesting to see some of these like really popular channels and I look at it and it's like they've got a hundred no like 90,000 views and it was only released like an hour ago.

90,000 views in an hour. I mean even at my peak of YouTube I was only getting half that amount of views in a month with all of my videos. Honestly 45,000 views a month was the most I ever had in one month.

I think at that time. Although I might have gone up to 60 so I might be lying on that one. But it was going up every month by about a good 10,000 if not 15,000.

So it's growing. Again I might be lying. It was growing but I don't know if it was 15,000.

But I have this little image in my mind it might be a lie. It doesn't matter really. But I think it went up to 60,000 one month.

And then I I escorted the YouTube channel out of my life. I put it away. So that's the end of the recording I imagine.

It's the end of the recording. I think what would be quite nice and I'm not able to do it. It would be quite nice if I could do this and then put in songs.

Just literally this this exact recording or whatever let me boy just sleep recording I've got and then add a song. Now that wouldn't be ideal for people that were listening to go to sleep. But I did wonder I did wonder whether or not yeah whether or not I could do that.

Edit this and then add it to you know to the other Spotify to make that podcast. But if it was the same content words or word wise that I guess they they might know. So I might get kicked off.

So I don't want to it just seems a shame to sort of almost go through the same process because this is me talking like this. And it almost feels like it's good this this could be used you know this podcast episode recording could be used to make the radio show. Just with a few edited alterations plus some music added.

I'm not sure. I suppose I could contact contact someone to find out. But then really there's something a little bit different I think with the radio it's probably a bit different.

I don't know we'll see. But anyway check it out the it's called Hospital to a Radio Alternative. Only available on Spotify not anywhere else.

And the one I did was two hours nearly two and a half hours long I think. And there's there's songs on there and I introduce each song and talk about my life around that time. Anyway I'm going to go.

Thank you. Enjoy your weekend. Remember to be kind to yourself because you do deserve to be happy.

Lots of love. Bye.
