Hello, and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. This is let me bore you to sleep. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.
So, right, what am I doing? I just saw a message. I was walking, I just went to the garage with my friend. And as we was walking back, he saw a star or light in the sky, which wasn't the moon.
And he was convinced it was moving. And it was a different colour from a normal star. Now my eyesight isn't going to, you know, I need my glasses to see the television.
So things that are millions of miles away, I'm not going to even try to sort of look. But the looking at it and he said, Oh, it's got to be something. It's got to be something.
And I said, Yeah, probably. And I say, maybe it's a new discovery. And I said, Well, if it is, we could get it named after both of us.
And he said, No, no, I discovered it. You were just there when it happened. It's mine.
It's mine. I said, Well, he said, I'm only kidding. I said, Oh, okay.
And I said, we call it Jason. And a little bit your name. And he said, No.
And I thought, you know what? I'll tell the high ground here. Let's not argue about such things. And then we got home and I came upstairs.
That's the whole story. That's it. That's everything.
Everything that happened. Trying to check out my bank balance, but I can't figure it out. I'm very confused at the moment with what's happening.
Very confused. So I've got a new thing going on. And my website is currently out of order.
Just it's only going to be for a few more days and it'll be back. It's just the just couldn't didn't have the money to pay for it at the time. So but it will be back.
It's fine. But then I'm looking at the website. I'm thinking I kind of would like something perhaps different.
Different I tell you different. So what I'm thinking of doing is getting rid of the website I've got now. I'm changing it over to Podbean, which is a website I had before.
Yeah, that's it. That's the whole. Yeah, again, another story kind of short.
But I won't decide that until sort of begin next week. Because it's Friday now. Friday, 27th of November 2020.
So that's something I'm going to look at. Because it doesn't seem a lot of point in paying $30 a month for a website, which doesn't really do anything. It's just got a bunch of things you can play and listen to.
But ideally, it'd be a podcast because that's what I do now, isn't it? It's pretty much what everything is about now is the podcasts. So I think having a podcast as my website would make sense. But it'll still be free, you know, still be a free pod still be able to stream for free and all that.
It's just this. It's just a different thing. So I'm going to look into that next week.
Couple of days ago, I started a new podcast with SoundCloud. I used to be with SoundCloud for years, many, many years, for a long time, had quite a few different podcasts with them. And with lots of you know, that was my main place really for quite a while.
And then I deleted the last one I had and decided just to stick with Spreaker and focus just there. But what I decided to do is have a podcast where there's ad free, there's no adverts, and that's going to be the SoundCloud podcast. So those that, you know, have a real issue with the adverts can then go on there, and they can listen and stream rather free.
Well, it's always good to be free, but they can stream without any adverts. So that's is let's have a look. Just so you can know where it is.
Oh, no. Where am I am? Jason Newland. Wow, I forgot I had that.
Well, I've got quite a few different podcasts and SoundCloud. I didn't realize. Okay, it's called Jason Newland's hypnosis podcast.
No ads in brackets. There's only 60 recordings on now 61 at the moment. So what I've been doing is, and it's going to take me weeks to do this because of the amount of recordings I've got.
But it's no hurry. On my part, anyway, I'm going to upload all of my recordings. At the moment, I'm just focusing on the let me bore you to sleep ones.
So I've uploaded 60 of those so far. And then I'll eventually once I've uploaded all 572,000 of them, I'll then move on to next one, which may be deep sleep, whisper, upload all of those. And they will all be in playlists, they'll all have their own playlists.
And eventually they'll all be done. And then I'll just upload the latest every time I do one. So there's two reasons for this one is one is so that it can be advert free.
So it can be a podcast that you can go to without any adverts. So that's for those that really don't like the adverts. Secondly, it's somewhere where I can, it's almost like a backup, a backup podcast.
So if you know, it's handy to have a backup. Do you know what I mean? Does that make sense? To have a nice to have a podcast where whatever happens, all of my recordings are saved online. Although they already are anyway.
But much cheaper cost. So if I lost if I had to get rid of the speaker, for example, because of the cost $120 a month. Hopefully that won't happen.
But if it did happen, and instead of losing all of my stuff, I'll have it saved on another podcast, which means it still be available to people, my stuff without having to go and re upload and all that. Plus, I will have the pod been where most of my recordings already uploaded on there as well. I'll just upload like the latest ones.
That's all categorized. And that will be my website. So just it kind of, I don't know fits with how I want it to be.
I think. So on SoundCloud, Jason Newlands, hypnosis podcast, no ads in brackets, that's the podcast. Or you can just go to SoundCloud and put my name in.
But you know, if you if you're happy to support and help me to actually pay the running costs of this free service, then you know, please listen to the ones with adverts. If that makes any sense. Yeah.
So that kind of ticks a few boxes, ticks a few few boxes for me. So I'm fairly pleased. I'll do the pod been later.
But are basically getting pod bean and SoundCloud. Well, the pod bean is cheaper than the Shopify. And because I'm not selling anything.
At the moment, when you only read Yeah. If I if I was to start selling recordings, then Shopify would be perfect for doing that. But I can also sell stuff on pod bean.
So you know, it's I don't need to see you know, the thing is, it's free service. It's supposed to be free. That's what it's supposed to be man.
So therefore, yeah, it's gonna go together. What hasn't gone together or hasn't gone to plan is yesterday's. What's it that did yesterday's? Let me boil to sleep that I did on video.
Well, I tried to upload it in a file was too big. I just wouldn't upload, try to edit it couldn't. I wasn't even able to transfer it from the iPhone to the iPad.
It was just ridiculous. So basically, you know, I've had on upload and process all day and it still hasn't. So I kind of I think I've given up on that one.
To be fair. So YouTube Studio, it says it's still processing video. Still processing.
Number 552. Let me boil to sleep, still processing. Don't understand it.
So I'm thinking Oh, wait a minute. The gap between That's weird. Why have I uploaded that twice? Okay.
I want to delete that. Delete it. All right.
Okay. My videos channel. YouTube Studio videos.
How do I get rid of it? It's weird. So basically, what I've done is actually if I just change it to private. That's it.
So it won't. It won't be seen anyway. So it's okay.
So YouTube. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. YouTube channel.
I've reached my 501 subscribers today.
So maybe I don't need to have videos or you know the video format maybe it is okay for me just to continue sharing the podcasts to YouTube you know that's what I've been doing for a while but I don't get many views of the ones unless if I post a video so for example let me have a look I'll show you wait a sec seriously I will I'm gonna just wait okay are you doing future in a studio right so I get very few I mean literally seriously really small amount so let me boy to

I'm forcing myself to go to bed I'm afraid to sleep I hope to wake up to a new president yay Ka fan Ka fan this is a number 90 relaxation hypnosis of stress and anxiety hopelessness thank you for sharing your life experiences it was interesting to hear someone else back then who knew he needed a change and yes even though when you're in those moments and they feel like they won't go away you ride them out and it helps a great deal identifying them as they come on also takes away some of their power I
sympathize with the mediate meditation retreat yeah I've read this one out before but I'm gonna reply just in case I yeah thanks I feel a bit rude of not replying to a lot of these Debbie three weeks ago just awesome Jason so much respect and gratitude for all you do thank you glad you're back I did reply to that one for you reply thank you okay so I had replied to ones before that the world doesn't need a hero it needs a welcome back I am a profile I am a hero I am I'm a
hero this hero if you look inside your heart you don't have to be afraid of what you are sometimes I think because I reply on the podcast I forget to reply on the actual video I'm just thinking maybe people might think I'm ignoring them VK says I think I'm double-dipping I listened to this on your podcast and now I've seen you for the first time not sure if that's what double-dipping means I'm not sure double-dipping hmm VK why wouldn't allow me go to I want to go to VK's channel see mm-hmm VK VK good to
be bad from depend descendants three VK mashup from descendants three what's descendants three I don't know I didn't know I can't find her anyway so today I didn't really didn't really do much if I'm honest now I don't like to be honest it's not my favorite thing I like lying is something wonderful about lying hmm I've got no other messages not from nobody nobody not at all so I've got nothing to read out which is fine I think people are bored now they can't be bothered to send messages for me to read out why why
why Jenny Sharman sent you a friend request who's Jenny Sharman let me have a look okay I'll say yes respond confirm request and let's see who Jenny Sharman is right not much information three years ago oh well hello Jenny hello how are you are you well hope you're both having fun so yeah so there's no other messages so I've got nothing else to talk about but it won't stop me now I'm having such a good time I'm having a ball I just did a recording a few hours ago and you know not one to blow
my own horn if only pretty good recording actually good it's a sleep hypnosis weekly and it's called sleep hypnosis weekly number 58 the gap between relaxing and sleeping and that's 27th of November 2020 so it hasn't got many views yet because was it dying to cut about as it goes it takes a while to for that to start but it should give me a nice it looks like it's quite late Friday's so I'm gonna probably get those stats more tomorrow if you know I mean if you know what I mean the statistics so everything's yes
it's all going quite well I tell you what's what something is in well I know everyone's interested so the relaxation where is it 419 okay here we go you ready relaxation hypnosis for stress and anxiety 39 439,000 75 439 075 hypnosis is sleeping deeply 439,000 949 see this like it's less and there's less than 900 between them this is exciting I reckon there's a good chance well hmm yeah I think the relaxation for stress is gonna overtake I think it's definitely gonna overtake and that will be my first half a million downloads per podcast so
that'll be the first one for just one podcast and I guess I'll be the first million podcasts when it eventually you know gets there so yeah I mean I'll probably I don't know how many do I get a day average let's have a look what's the average I get on that podcast so October 46,000 this is for relaxation hypnosis for stress and anxiety 46,000 this month 39,000 there's still a few days left so we're gonna be we're heading towards the 50,000 to be fair but let's say just leave it at 46,000 for now although it
will be higher so 46,000 a month times by 12 552,000 552,000 plus 552,000 and then 439,000 plus 439,000 plus 439,000 take away 439,000 right plus 439,000 equals 991,000 so yeah I'll be hitting over a million on that one by this time next year so based on that I reckon there'll be at least three podcasts that will have over a million downloads each wish on it just tickles my little it scratches an itch if you know it gives me me me a little bit of pleasure just just a little bit no you know it's not it's
nice it's nothing wrong with that is there does that I mean yeah I mean does that make me super shallow super shallow in fact early today I did a relaxation hypnosis no deep sleep whisper hypnosis okay and I sat here this was this morning and had it all set up and I'm starting to whisper and I fall asleep just gonna move get myself more comfortable oh that's better I feel asleep so I started off like hello welcome to our deep sleep whisper hypnosis my name is Jason Newland you know so it's nice and gentle relax
your arms relax your shoulders relax your stomach relax now go to sleep go to sleep go on go on go to sleep so it's very calm and I fell asleep and the thing lasted for about an hour and a half and all you hear is just really I thought that I could save the recording by just deleting it from when I started snoring but I practically started snoring straight away I fell asleep within minutes of trying to make the recording minutes I tell you minutes minutes and I uploaded it not not to the podcast but
I uploaded it to my to the uh cloud and then I thought I'll edit it and see what I can do see if I can save something nothing even when I was whispering it wasn't making sense it was just yeah lawnmower it's like what it just really was a jumble mumble gumble mess so I just deleted it I'm not a big fan of deleting my work my precious precious work especially when I put an hour into it but then you could say yeah but you was asleep wasn't you haven't really put an hour into it
have you so yeah one of those things dings and it's a shame because I'm overdue a deep sleep whisper I need to make a new one because the last one I did was blimey over a week ago I think let's have a look over a week deep sleep whisper oh it was the 19th of November this is now 27th so yeah it's eight days yeah eight days so and what happens what happens oh yeah what happens is if after a while the stats start to go down a little bit compared to what they were so
I'm going to last month current month okay so I just go there uh yeah so it's a lot higher when I actually make them regularly it's sort of seven six seven hundred but when I don't make any one and make any new ones for a while it goes down to about 250 to 300 downloads a day so it's a lot less and for me to not make any new ones for a while is it's bad customer service because I have a different not necessarily a different audience but I have an audience for that particular podcast
and I've done 286 episodes of the deep sleep whisper hypnosis so that's a lot you know other than the let me boy just sleep that's the second most amount of recordings I've made for any particular podcast so I'm gonna I'm gonna put a bit more effort into that in my my goal one of my goals is to excuse me just put my feet up on the chair one of my goals is to do a deep sleep whisper every day but I need to find a way of doing it without falling asleep because when I'm sitting
here whispering I mean I just think about it I think about sitting here and just whispering like that you know just it sends my sends my brain into I don't know it automatically relaxes me beyond being able to do anything or to function even I just just fall asleep and although that's great in some circumstances is not so great when I'm trying to make a recording and the weird thing about it as I talk about it I'm starting to get those feelings back where I'm starting to get those feelings back where I'm supposed to be
bless you Andre I took Andre to the to the garage with me and he was walking for a bit of it but when I go out with him and my friend and the dog Andre can't go at his own pace he was a bit rushed which is not his fault you know for me to take him out basically means I let him go where he wants to go and I follow him that's him going out for a walk not me dragging him along where I want to go so we weren't very far and he wanted
to get inside my jacket so I let him get inside and he went to sleep got to the garage decided to get him out of my jacket because I wanted to go into the garage and get something and my the what's the name um see I fell asleep uh yeah so he has to I took him out because he my friend needed to look after him while I went into the garage he went to the garage I looked after his dog and he came back and he looked after Andre I couldn't get him out of
my jacket because the his fingernails were caught in the threads of my jacket so he's still there no I did get him out with the intention of well having to cut his fingernails when we got home which is what I did again he's struggling he doesn't like it I'm doing this for you do you think I want to do this do you think I enjoy doing this I'm doing it for you yes he's wiggling around and eventually we got it done it's good it's good it's good it's it's it's good we got it done which
is the plan that was what was supposed to happen but he was so like moaning see I'm surprised that he needed to have his fingernails cut quite as soon as they were because I have a memory of cutting his fingernails whilst he was on my lap I got that feeling it's quite a nice light feeling oh fell asleep again weird isn't it I don't know what I was thinking about or what I was talking about then I just drifted off that's why I shouldn't oh I can't close my eyes when I make these recordings I'm
not even particularly sleep well I'm not tired necessarily but I want to close my eyes all I can think of is you I want to close my eyes dippity dippity doo so I don't know it's it's strange when you think wow yeah we've got what's the 27th today was it 26th 27th so we got less than a month to Christmas in fact at a month's time Christmas will be over it will be completed it would have had it would have reached its climax which is okay I'm not really a big Christmas person and that's mainly
just because I don't really have anyone nearly fell asleep there again it's these big gaps I don't think I could do a sleep deep sleep whisper one even if I tried just simply because I just feel so relaxed and I don't know I don't know oh I just dropped my phone on the floor brilliant I can't be bothered to pick it up well I'm going to pick it up I'm not going to leave it there forever but it'll involve moving the chair where my legs are currently residing and then getting up from the chair where
my buttocks are currently residing and then putting my feet on the ground and stretching them in such a way that my body becomes almost straight standing up and then looking down for the phone I don't know if this actually happened or it was just a a make-believe story or maybe I'm daydreaming I don't know no not now I'm not I'm not I know I'm not daydreaming this I'll just I need to share more of my internal experiences so you know what I'm talking about I just had this this idea that like bending down to pick
up your phone and you pick up a different phone but like a really old like non-internet phone you know maybe it used to have WAP just remember WAP back in blimey 20 years ago I guess WAP and you could search for things you could do google searches on WAP WAP wow whoa whoa brilliant but uh I don't know how interested I really was in mobile phones when yeah I don't know because I worked in a call center selling mobile phone contracts and I'd had I got my first a mobile I know you may you may
pronounce it mobile mobile mobile mobile mobile mobile phone mobile mobile mobile that's a weird word ain't it mobile mobile like brassier model brassier modeling my brassier brassier mobile ding dong yeah so I used to what did I do my first I I dated a girl in 1996 she was 17 I was 25 and this is in England where 16 is the limit by the way because I know in America 25 year old and a 17 year old would be illegal but in England it's not so I was 25 she was 17 her age isn't really
of the point but we were together for wow probably nearly a year I guess a good eight months and I loved her very much still got contact with her actually and she she was a student nurse and then became a proper full nurse and has been a nurse for a long long long time I mean wow you think that's 96 97 98 996 97 98 so she'd have been qualified 96 97 98 in 99 99 so 21 years at least she's been a qualified nurse but anyway she had a mobile phone that's the only reason
I was mentioning it and because she was a student she had a lot of things just offered to her like credit cards and stuff like that which I couldn't even get and I was working full time and I I didn't want a mobile phone there wasn't really any part of me that thought you know what I want one of them I just didn't didn't not interest me at all and 97 did not interest me at all until I think I did get a phone right at the end of 97 maybe beginning of 98 I got
my first mobile phone and it had an aerial that I could pull out of it like a plastic aerial and I used to stick it to my teeth and I used to dangle dangle the phone around and hold you know I'd have the the the aerial part in my teeth I don't know I used to enjoy doing it I don't know why and I never really wanted a mobile phone didn't really see the point of it I could see the point of it as far as you know the being able to make a phone call
without going to a phone box of course I mean that's you know it's amazing to not have to do that but once I got one I became reliant upon it especially with telephone numbers just putting people's telephone numbers in and not having to remember them anymore because I only remember two telephone numbers one is an old friend that's I don't have contact with anymore that lives up in Nottingham I remember his telephone number off my heart the landline and my dad's telephone number as well I've got that itched in my head that's about it yeah
but once I had the mobile phone I started to enjoy it I liked it very useful I think one of the benefits of mobile phones is you can see who's calling unlike a standard landline phone where it just would ring that's the only way to find out who it is what was I saying yeah I started thinking of something else then while I was talking but yeah you got you could see who it was and uh yeah I can't remember I'm feeling very relaxed very very peaceful um yes about it for me not far from
falling asleep so I'm gonna bring this recording to a climax and I shall speak to you again for the very soon remember yes it remember remember to be kind to yourself remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy and I should be back again tomorrow lots of love bye
