Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. This is Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.
I'm recording this on the Shure MV88 Plus Video Kit Microphone and it got delivered today. And the plan, the plan is to try and find ways to, just to improve what I'm doing. Not, you know, not just the sound, but the setup tonight, so much stuff being used and all that stuff.
So, I did use this to make a recording earlier, but I didn't have it set up, or basically, uh, I'm just watching advert, I basically didn't have any knowledge about how to use it. I didn't realize that these things come with instructions. So what I did, because I wasn't getting the quality sound that I wanted, so I went online and researched it and there's no instructions with it.
So I just thought, okay, I'll look into it and I did, I found some, you know, a few videos and stuff. So I've got a rough idea, I still got a lot to learn, but it's, the main thing really is not so much video, it's more the audio, because I want to, because at the moment, I've got my iPhone in a little rack thing on a little stand just to the right of me on a shelf with the microphone and it's recording on its own software. So it's an app that I had to download to use it.
Now it's taken up no room, seriously, it's just there, I can move around, I'm not going to bang the microphone, it's, I think it's got two microphones in it and it's a condenser. So it will take me a while to figure out how to get the best, best quality sound. The only thing really is the background hum, but there is a background, there's a background hum here.
So it's not the microphone, it's just, that's what's kind of going on in the background of the room. There's a... Let me see if I can, if I close the kitchen door, maybe that'll reduce it, hold two seconds. My kitchen's not in, out of the garden, is it? Need to get a bit of water.
Ah, there does seem to be a bit less of background sound now and it wasn't, well it is a sound, but it was a, whoops, just like a gentle humming, which is annoying, when, it doesn't, I don't even hear it, I'll be honest, I know I just did hear it, so I'm kind of lying, but I don't notice it, generally. The kitchen door's open most of the time, I don't hear the fridge and freezers just humming away, but when I do a recording and I listen back to it, it's just one of those things that's a little bit annoying, it's just, I just want that gone, just as much as possible.
So yeah, anyway, that's part of what I'm trying to do, I'm trying to, it's not just about improving the sound quality, which this might not be doing, it's a little bit of work and possibly the other microphones were better quality sound, possibly, but it took me a while to get, to figure out how to use those, so this, you know, once I've figured out how this one works, then I should be okay, I've kind of figured a little bit of it out, and it's, it's literally just there, and I can see the screen and I
can see what level I'm talking at and I can see how long I've been talking for, according to this app, I've got 370 hours left of recording, that's quite a lot, but I don't think I'm going to be talking for quite that long, although I have, altogether, but much more than that.
The downside of this is I can't use the phone whilst I'm talking, which is what I quite often do, you know, if I want to look up a fact, or to search for something online, or just want to remind myself of something, or read out a, you know, a comment or a message, but I could do that on the iPad over there, but it's, the iPod, it's not really ideal for being on me lap. So, yeah, it's a bit weird because I'm, shall I get me iPad, I want to get me iPad, I'm getting up now, there you go, oh it does fit on me, yeah, that's alright.
See, today, the 16th of November 2020, I had 7700 downloads, 7700, so that's pretty good, I'm quite pleased with that, and it's been growing through the week, and part of the, part of the thing, part of the reason for getting this new mic is so that I can record without having to set stuff up, without, you know, it just makes it easier, so I can just have a little bit of motivation, sit down and just record, and it's done, you know, sit on the list, it's already set up for the same level, and I can
just record it with the other stuff, there was, I was tripping over microphone leads, Andre was coming along and just messing around with my friend's dog comes up, he's knocking stuff over, but now with this, it's almost untouchable, it's not even, you wouldn't even know it was there, really, apart from the fact that the screen is lit up, so yeah, I'm thinking that this might be the way to go for now, and I think if I manage to get a, I don't know, in the future, you know, recording studio set up, as opposed to the
garden shed that didn't really work out, I'll probably look to try and get some more professional stuff, but this is a step forward, because it's hard to explain, really, because I sound, I feel like I sound really lazy when I, when I say it, but sometimes I can't be bothered to set everything up, and you know, set it all up and move stuff off counters and off tables, because I've got three flat surfaces that I've moved stuff from to make space, but now everything's just in one place, it's just there, it never has to move,
the only difference is I just take the phone out when I'm not using it, I leave the microphone in on that shelf, it can't fall out, because it's almost lodged in the shelf, the difference, the space between the two shelves is like a couple of centimetres above, so it fits in really perfect, so yeah, I'm gonna give this a go, and the thing is, the sound is never going to be perfect, it's never going to be perfect, but if you listen back to recordings from maybe five, six years ago, compared to now, the recording quality
is much better, the sound quality rather, is much better than it used to be, and I've invested in podcast kits, I, yeah, I remember 2009, I think it was, I bought a podcast kit, which was about £180, and it had a microphone, headphones, mixer desk, and all that stuff, and that's what I recorded the Stop Smoking course on, but it just still wasn't how I wanted it to be, plus it's a lot of stuff to be, you know, to get it set up, I couldn't do it in my bedroom, I had to do it, I
needed a big table to put all the stuff on, so I could only do recordings when there was no one else around, because it was like a family table where they'd like eat food and stuff, generally at Christmas, but it's still there, and sometimes I've got to use it, but I couldn't do it when there's other people around, apart from the fact that I can't make recordings when there's other people chatting and stuff anyway, yeah, you know what I mean?
So yeah, we'll see, I know it's not particularly interesting, however, I am willing to try new things, and I will continue with that mentality, I want to try new things, try to improve what I'm doing, try to also give myself the best chances to make new recordings, and this is one of those things that will help, I mean earlier on I did a relaxation, hypnosis, stress, anxiety podcast, and I just had a little bit of, oh, an idea, I'll talk about that, that's an exercise or technique that is simple and I can just talk about
it and go through it, and I did, I just used this microphone and just pressed the play or the record button, didn't even have it set up properly, I didn't realise, but it was okay, and it felt nice just to get my ideas out without having to hold it in while I set the stuff up and sort of, oh, I'll have to hide Andrei, see now really, I've got Andrei, he's in his bed, if I'm making a recording, I can just stop talking while he's doing his thing, and if he goes to bed, then he
goes back to bed to sleep, or I can just edit it, it's not really a big deal, I leave him in on these recordings because I know, I get a lot of love from people for him, he's a very loved little ferret, Andrei is, I almost think that he's possibly, possibly one of the most famous ferrets in the world, I should set up a website just for him, shouldn't I, but that would be annoying because he'd get more people visit than my website, and that would just annoy me, let me see what messages I've had,
I had a message the other day, I wonder if he's aroused, aroused, arisen, is that the right word?
I had a message, I've not replied to it yet, and I can't reply, but I could, there it is, there it is, I've got a message and I've not replied, so I do need to reply to it, this was, well, Sunday, it's Monday now, so this is from Carol, so hi Carol, hope you're well, yesterday, was Sunday wasn't it, so I'm not sure what I talked about yesterday, but I didn't get around to reading any messages, but I'm going to read yours now, Hi Jason, thought you would like to know I am currently doing a
Nielsen review for radio and podcasts, I am tracking the hours that I listen to shows per day, you will be happy to know that I have you on Apple podcast every day from 11pm to 5am, now Nielsen knows it too, so I'm going to reply, wow, really, that's it, why can't I, well, I have to type it, thank, it's much harder to do it on this than it is on the phone, thank, it's doing all capital letters, thank you, hopefully, I will get more listeners, kiss kiss, so I've replied, why did it make that noise,
I've got the sound down, I've got the sound on mute and it still made that sound, very annoying, although I can delete it, I can edit it out of the recording, so that was a message on my website, because I've got a comment, you know, you can send a private message to me on my website, Facebook, let's have a look, right, I had a message that I found the other day and I've lost it, by the way, if you want me to read out your messages, send me a message, if you like, I go through
periods when I get people contacting me and saying, I'll say hello to this person, please wish Horace a happy birthday, and can you please just say congratulations to me and my husband, Adolf, who have been married for 73 years and stuff like that, we met in a bunker, and it's kind of like, oh great, you know, I'm happy to do that kind of stuff, it's, I mean, I didn't have more people listening back then when I was getting these messages, so I've got just as many, if not more people listening to these podcasts now than
then, but I don't get that many messages anymore, although I discovered something the other day and I need to reply to it, I'm going to do it now, this is what it is, I need to go onto Facebook, there's a cow outside, a cat, if I say cow, there's a cat outside, so the Facebook app doesn't work properly as far as checking stuff, so I had, I've not been notified of new messages that I get or new comments, for some reason Facebook just stopped notifying me, and I came across, I came over a, where was
it, this is my Facebook page, I've got two messages, so I'm going to take my glasses off so I can read it, oh, someone, I'd like to delete someone who kept hassling me, okay, right, Brad sent me a message, so Brad, I didn't see any of these messages, because I haven't been notified of anything for ages, really, on Facebook, and I remember, this is a couple of years back, I came across a bunch of comments that had been left over two years ago that I'd never even seen, and I'm online every day, you know, I'm
constantly sort of checking to see, you know, if there's a message, like the main message, if I get a message on my normal Facebook page, it comes up on the hypnosis Facebook page, or the let me put you to sleep page, it doesn't sort of tell me, but I couldn't believe once, because I was going through them, and I had all these messages that I hadn't even seen, why Facebook had hidden them, I don't know, so I ended up sending messages to people saying, I'm so sorry, in fact, it wasn't comments, it was messages, Facebook
messages, sorry, but I didn't get your message until, you know, three years after you sent it, slightly annoying, so Brad, he sent me a message on the 9th of September, wow, that gives you an idea, doesn't it, where would, the message is where would be the best place to find your quit smoking course, podcast or website, both, but if you just put in Jason Newland stop smoking, you'll find it, it's everywhere, so it's not everywhere, you know, it's not on Amazon, but you know, you'll find it on most podcast hosts, such as Apple, Google, Breaker,
Stitcher, Spotify, you know, so it's on all those, it says also, do you have any that would promote motivation to study, I'm in the most boring course, LOL, network systems administration, now Brad, if you're still listening to me, because you might have got annoyed with me, didn't get back to you, I didn't see the message, I saw it, I saw it yesterday or the day before, and I was going to reply, but I couldn't be bothered, and that sounds, I shouldn't have said that, but I was busy or I wasn't very well or something, yeah,
I wasn't very well last week, that's what it is, anyway, and then you sent a message Thursday, which is a couple of days ago, hey man, I have pinched nerve in my shoulder, can barely use my right arm, everything is numb, worst pain I've ever had, any suggestions on pain or hypnosis would be much appreciated, I have a hypnosis podcast specifically for pain, which, it's all on my website, I'm pretty sure it is, what's my name, I won't name it, it's all the podcasts, pain relief, pain relief, pain relief, pain relief, pain, deep sleep, relaxation,
sleep hypnosis, insomnia, self-help, relaxation, chronic pain, okay, there you go, there are 56 recordings on my chronic pain website, so what I'll do, I'll just copy the web page, and I'll just add this, oh, brilliant, now I've lost it, no, I haven't, no, I haven't, there you go, oh, it's not allowing me to reply now, why not, reply, why is it not allowing me to reply, that's why it didn't reply, because it's not allowing me to reply, okay, wow, that's strange, so Brad, if you're listening to this, in fact, what I'm going to do, view
profile, if I send a message, hi, Brad, sorry for delay, here is a link for pain relief recordings, paste, paste, yeah, that's done, groovy, it gets a little bit confusing sometimes, I don't know why, oh, dear, anyway, so that's kind of all of the, that's all of it, that's all of the messages that I've had, I thought that I'd have more, but I never, you know, I go through, I said I go through little periods where, I think what it is, is possibly people, you're listening to me, and you just get a little bit bored,
and you can't be bothered to write, it's like I can't be bothered to reply, although I do try and reply, I do, honestly, I just don't always do it straight away, and in some ways, I feel by mentioning it during a recording, mentioning the person, thanking them, or reading out their message, it almost feels like I am, it's, you know, it's kind of a better way to reply, however, not everybody's gonna necessarily hear it, so, not everybody, I mean, obviously, not everybody in the world, but it might not be ideal, this is boring me now,
I'm gonna stop talking about this, because it's very boring, very, very boring, so, one of the problems with using this, the iPhone, is that it doesn't show me how much juice I have left on the battery, and I didn't have a huge amount, so, I don't know if the battery runs out, will that mean that I'll lose the entire recording, although it normally gives me a notice if it's still down to the last 10% or 9%, um, so, I'll have enough, a bit of a notice before it actually completely runs out, yeah, so, today, I
did, what did I do, I did my sleep hypnosis weekly recording this morning, and then I did a, I think I did a deep sleep whisper hypnosis recording as well, and then a few hours ago, I did a relaxation hypnosis for stress, and now I'm doing this one, so, you know, I've been fairly busy today, made some recordings, but I also, my friend has been unwell, so, I went to the pharmacy to get his prescription, so, it was, it wasn't just that, I actually phoned the doctors for him in the morning, about 9 o'clock, and
said, listen, my friend, my neighbour, is very unwell, he's run out of his prescription, and he's having the side effects, the withdrawal with side effects, he tried to get them on Wednesday, but he wouldn't give them, wouldn't give them to him, and all this stuff, and he's been ill ever since, he's run out, and, because, basically, what, what the doctors do now, I don't know if they do, do the same everywhere, but here, they only prescribe for six months at a time, so, you get it every month, and they call them batches of six months,
sometimes they only do it for three months, and, you might think, well, it's only twice a year, you have to, well, is it twice a year?
Yeah, so, if you do it January, and then June, and, yeah, so, twice a year, you have to make an appointment with the doctors, and you can't go in there now, at the moment, but they do, like, a telephone appointment to do a review for the medication, and there's no way around it, they just stick to the rules, and that's what they told my friend, you have to have a medical, you have to have a telephone consultation with a doctor, that's what they told him on Wednesday.
Well, I phoned him this morning, I said, you need to help, Eva needs to get an emergency telephone doctor's appointment, they said, well, it's not possible, we don't have anyone to do that, I said, well, he's ill, really, really ill, and he has been really ill for a few days, and I said, and I was so determined that I was not going to get off that phone until they said yes, now, of course, they're not allowed to just deal with Bea without his permission, and they said that to me, I said, that's fine, I'll go
downstairs and I'll get him, but I didn't want to get him and be on the phone, I didn't want to sit down there and keep phoning and ringing and ringing until I got through, I wanted to get through first and then go down, that way I can focus on what I'm saying, and so I'd already told them the situation, told them who he was, went downstairs, he spoke to him on the phone, confirmed who he was, and confirmed that he was fine for me to talk on his behalf, because he's just so ill, really, he's
been really unwell, and they said, yeah, we'll do it now, and we'll send it through, and so he'll be there by 5 in the afternoon, this was at 9 o'clock in the morning, and I said, okay, thank you, I thought, oh, I really didn't want to go to the pharmacy, because it's a bus journey, or a walk, a too far walk, and with my back as it is at the moment, I'm not really able to walk distances, so I get the bus, I'm hoping with the exercise bike that I can, and with some, I've talked
about this, I know it's boring, but I'm hoping to get my back back, I want my, I want my back back, my old back back, or not my old back that's old now, but the original one, I feel like someone's just replaced it in the night, come and replaced my back with sort of a 93 year old's back, I mean, it could be arthritis, I don't know, it could be anything, I kind of don't care, I care, but I'm not prepared to feel sorry for myself, and be a victim with that stuff, you know, everybody
has something wrong with them, and I'm lucky that as long as I can talk, and think, then I can continue to do this stuff, so even if I was stuck in a chair, unable to walk, I hope that never happens, but if it did, I'd still be able to function to a degree, I mean, I'd have to move because I live upstairs, so that wouldn't be any good, but mind you, I could get deliveries, perhaps never, but yeah, I suppose for health reasons, I probably wouldn't need to get out, I'd need to get a shower
put in, I'm planning it, can you believe it, no, I'm going to be fine, I'm going to get my back fixed with exercise and stretching, gentle exercise, and gentle stretching, and gentle weights, that's what I'm planning, so I've got the bus, that's the point, don't get me started on my back, I'll just keep going on about it forever, it's a bit of a shock to me, even though it's been coming on for 20 years, or more than 20 years, but it's been so gradual that it didn't really bother me, it was more of an ache,
you know, and it just, sometimes it ached, sometimes it didn't, like a creaky chair, you know, just, you know there's a good chance a chair might collapse one day, you know, it's creaking because it's not, it's seen bad days, but you're still sitting in it, it's, you know, I like that chair, it creaks, but I like it, I'm not going to start chucking things away because they creak, I mean I creak, I'm not going to chuck myself away, and then it's only really been the last six years, seven years, that it's really started to kind
of gain some momentum, when I had to stop doing Taekwondo, that was a real kind of, it was an eye-opener, it was a real, like, oh I have to take notice of this now, and I wasn't happy with that, and then, you know, I went to a chiropractor, or whatever they're called, chiropodist, and no, I didn't have my hands bleached, but the boys, I went, anyway, he looked at my back and clicked it and stuff, and said it was just wear and tear, now he doesn't know, he can guess, but the only way they know
what's going on to the bones really is by x-ray, you know, otherwise it's, it could be a very educated guess, and it could be, you know, very, I suppose, something like arthritis, you could look and see it, because maybe it's swollen, with a broken bone, you can see a broken bone, you can see if it's broken or not, but the x-ray's still needed, so, you know, you can see if any treatment's needed for it, and all that stuff, anyway, yep, I'm a doctor now, Dr.
Y, that would be me, Dr. Y, YM, Dr.
Y, oh, it's a TV program with lots of doggies on it, so, dogs are cute, I still think Andre's the cutest, but you know what he did today, I was having a bath, and he just pushed the door wide open, now it was okay, because I had the windows, in the past he's done that, and the lights been on, I got the shutters, or the blinds down in the bathroom, but not in the living room, so, which means I can't get out of the bath, without being seen through the window, not that there's people there
with binoculars and ladders and stuff, hoping to see my hairy bum, I don't think that's going to happen, but the, this time everything, all the curtains were drawn and fine, but he just pushed it wide open, and this cold air just blew in, honestly, it's almost as if he just had a big freezer, and he just opened it up, it was weird, and it's, I tell you what's even weirder, I got distracted by it, okay, and I picked up the shampoo bottle, put the shampoo in my hand, in the hands, and started to wash my
face with the shampoo, not even joking, started wetting my eyes, absolutely just, and I'd already washed my face, because I've got this face scrub that I use, and I was like, what, really, really, I've never done that in my life, I've noticed I've started doing things that are a bit weird, and they're just putting things in the wrong places sometimes, for example, I've got this sugar pot which is sealed, and I went to put the lid of the sugar pot onto my cup, and I was, really, what was that about, and just little things like
that, it's like, that's strange, I think partly that happens when I'm not really awake, you know, I've got up, so when I watch, I want to watch Mike and Molly, or Millie and, Millie and Molly, Molly and Millie, Millie and Moo, at 6.
30 in the morning, and it's too early, but I love the show, and I like waking up to comedy, to something light-hearted, and, but unfortunately, I'm half asleep, so I'm getting my breakfast ready, making a cup of coffee, you know, just, I'm kind of not really there, and I've got a new thing where I sit on the edge of my bed, and I fall asleep again, and the other day, I got up, and I sat down in this chair here, that I am, and I woke up, I literally don't remember even falling asleep, or even
thinking about falling asleep, I just closed my eyes, and that was it, and I woke up a couple of hours later, I was like, wow, what happened there, so yeah, so I went to the pharmacy, got on the bus, the bus was late, so I couldn't get on it until it got there, the pharmacy closes at 5.
30, I left at 17 minutes past four, in order to get the half past four bus, and the bus didn't turn up, and I'm thinking, okay, what I'm going to do is, if the bus isn't here by quarter to five, I'm going to walk it, because I know I can do it in half an hour, and they'll still be open, so I can get there, get a prescription, and then get a bus back, well, with about a couple of minutes spare, the bus did indeed arrive, and I got on, put my mask on, and got
on, and it's quite a short journey on the bus, compared to walking it, and then I took the mask off, when I got to, when I got off the bus, walked to the pharmacy, I was thinking about crossing the road, and then decided, I'll wait until I'm opposite the pharmacy, before I cross, it's just, it's a decision I made in the moment, and it felt, I don't know why, it just felt like the right thing to do, so I do that, and I check the traffic, and I don't mean, you know, I didn't go online
to see what the traffic was going to be like, might be using my eyes, and I crossed over, there was one person in there, like a customer, was in there, being served, so I went in, so they, last time I was there, they had a side on a board, no more than two customers at a time, so I went in, and I went the other side of the shop, so there's a big old distance between me and a lady who was talking about something, to the pharmacist, the man, pharmacist, and the lady said, hello, can
I help you, actually she didn't say that, can I help you, I said yeah, I've come to collect my friend's prescription, what's his name, I gave the name, so she spoke to her colleague, and said, this man said he's come to collect the prescription for his friend, and I said yeah, I phoned earlier, he said, he said he phoned earlier, and is that okay, and she said, the other lady said yeah, that's fine, and so she gave me the prescription, the bag, and I put it into a carrier bag that I had, which I brought
with me, because I thought that'd be helpful, because carrier bags are useful, aren't they, for carrying stuff, and that's what I did, so, and then I walked back to the bus stop, which is opposite the road, from where I got off earlier, the bus stop is directly opposite, coming back, and there was, according to my phone, I think there was two minutes left, before the next bus was going to be coming, so I thought, ah, now that is good, the thing is, it was raining, so I was in the shelter, which meant I didn't have
a lot of time to jump out, and put my hands, and flap my hands around, so the bus driver could see me and stop, and eventually, you know, I was kind of looking, and I was, it was probably about five minutes, maybe, and I was a little bit, yeah, a little bit daydreamy, I suppose, and then suddenly I see this bus coming around, way too fast to stop, but I jump out, start waving, jump up and down, all excited, and they did stop, and I got on, and I think I sat at the front of
the bus this time, but my glasses were wet and steamed up from the mask, so I couldn't really see what was going on, so I had to take my glasses off a little bit, so I could see where I was on the journey, because once you get into my state, there's three, one, one, two, I think it's two stops before my one, so that's, yeah, so that's kind of what I have to do, so I have to make sure I get off, or press the buzzer to get to the, you know, before we get to
the bus stop, I haven't spent a lot of time with Andre today, he wanted to come out with me when I went to the pharmacy, but I didn't take him, because it wasn't the kind of journey that he would enjoy, it wasn't a trip out, it was, you know, I had to go places and do stuff, and it's quite weird, because he was trying to get out the door, and I closed the door gently, so he didn't, you know, wave goodbye, and that's it, when I came back in, he was waiting by the door for
me, but he wasn't trying to get out, he was just waiting, so I don't know, maybe he missed me, or maybe he was waiting and he fell asleep, I think deep inside, I think he, I think he might love me a little bit, I think he hides it very well, but I think there might be a little bit of, I wonder, a little bit of something there, a little bit of love, a little bit of loving, so that was Monday, Tuesday, tomorrow, I don't have to go anywhere, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, so I've got the, what
are they called, the, those little things you stick into plugs, I've got a pack of those coming through tomorrow, so hopefully, hopefully, I'll be able to get, hopefully get the vacuum cleaner working again, and I'll be able to tidy up this place, which is something that's very much required at the moment, yeah, take me back to Paradise City, where the girls are pretty, take me, take me home, but I don't think there's anything else this week really, I've got planned, I've got the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, no, so I can make some more recordings, just
gradually get this place a bit more tidier, and yeah, hopefully, it's, you know, keep going, keep building, keep growing, and should be good, I want to read more, read more, that's what I want to do, yeah, so that's something I want to sort of spend a bit more time indulging myself in, the written word, because if it wasn't for my previous, not previous, but for my love of reading when I was a kid, I'd, I don't know what the right word is, but I think I'd almost have no education, because most of my education is
being self-taught by reading books, you know, and I've been an avid reader since I was a child, since I was a small child, and as I got older, it was very much a case of more practical textual books, textual text books, as in learning about psychology, or philosophy, or Buddhism, various different things, and what I use, hypnosis as well, of course, and what I used to do is, whenever I became interested in a topic, I would buy loads of books on the subject and read them all, I did that with quite a few things over
the years, so it's, um, yeah, I can, I guess I would continue that way, I suppose because so much stuff is now available online, or in Kindle, or also I listen to audiobooks, and it's not the same as reading, really for me, it's not the same, but in some ways it's better, I love hearing, and if I'm going to hear the author's words, I want to hear their voice as well, especially someone that I'm really kind of a bit of a fan of, to hear their voice, like Earl Nightingale, Earl Nightingale is one of my
favourite motivational speakers, um, his voice, his clarity, and the way he talks is just, you know, amazing, so I've got a few of his audiobooks, and a few of his, like a compilation kind of albums, really, so it's probably about 30 odd hours of him talking, as well as watching him on YouTube as well, and I've got some books of his, I think, but yeah, I'd still like to get back into the reading, so I'm hoping that maybe when I get my eye test done, my reading glasses, maybe they'll be updated, the lenses, so that,
um, and my day-to-day glasses will be, definitely, they'll be changed, so that I'm putting less strain on my eyes, which means I'll be able to read a little bit easier, without having tired eyes, which I sometimes find when I read, I never used to, I used to find out I did when I'd try to read, and when I was tired, you know, sort of late at night, and as I say, I love, I always loved reading, whether it was late at night, or early in the morning, I loved it, anyway, that is the, that's the
end of this recording, so thank you for listening, remember to be kind to yourself, because you deserve to be happy, lots of love.
Paragraph spacing and recurring name or title errors have been tidied. Because this began as a voice transcription, an occasional word or piece of punctuation may still be incorrect.
