It's the way they worded it in the headline, wasn't it? Wow. We don't have much of that kind of stuff over here, which is nice. So, I'm guessing, I'm guessing that some, um, some people will react into that as if it was the gender reveal or... I don't know, I'm confused.

So I might get one myself. And then I can sit at my desk and I can be comfortable. Yeah.

I think it's called Man with a Plan with Joey from Friends. Bah, bah, bah. And no matter what he does in his life well, depending, you know, there are some things he could do which could take the spotlight away from his previous career.

I don't know how many people remember Ghost Dad now. But Joey will always be remembered for Friends. Because it was a very, very successful one of the most successful sitcoms of the 90s.

If not the most successful I did now. In America, maybe. Not in Israel, not in Cambodia, not in Mexico.

I'm sure they had their own sitcoms that they preferred. Unless Friends got dubbed. Oh, it could have got dubbed.

A lot of my recordings aren't even available on my website that I've had recently until it's offline now, the other website. I can't have them both online at the same time so I've took one offline trying to connect this new one and I spent quite a long time putting this new podcast together and all of my recordings as far as I'm aware are on there. They're all in categories, organized.

There's still a few bits and bobs to do, a few pictures to upload and stuff like that. There's no pages, you know, there's nothing. It's not glamorous.

Why would it be glamorous? You've never had a glamorous website in your life. I have had glamorous websites. Name one.

I don't know. I reckon my most glamorous websites was when I very first started building websites back in 2000 and I did... What did I do? Oh yeah, I had websites that I would build using my own code, you know, not my own code but from hand. From hand.

You used your fingers, didn't you? On the keyboard. Yeah, I know, stop that. It's annoying now.

And using HTML or it used to be called HTM. Let me give you the history. Seriously, this is incredibly boring to other people, not to me.

That doesn't make sense. I'm looking at Romford Road. It's on Google Maps and I'm able to look at the other side of the road.

This is phenomenal. There's a Domino's and it's really weird. It's not like a proper Domino's.

Well, it is a Domino's but it's next to a shop called Tazar. And there's all these vegetables and stuff outside this shop. And then, and that's probably not right, but I class Domino's as being a proper shop.

It's next to it. And they've got a little wooden fence around. But it's strange.

Mind you, it's not that strange. There's, no, it's not that, oh, even where I live, there's like a, didn't they used to get called bazaars? You know, shops where you got lots of stuff where, I hate to say it out loud, but I go in there and I see things and I don't know what they are. You know, I pick something up.

I look at it. What is it? Do I eat it or clean my bum with it? I don't know. It's like some object and I don't know what it is.

I have to ask. The shopkeeper said it's toilet paper. Toilet paper, mate, what's your problem? Oh, well, next to that there's movers.

Oh, look at these people. So it's an estate agent, no doubt. What? They've suddenly updated it.

I wonder how close we can get to the person to see their face. Oh no, look, they're blanking out people's faces. They're blanking out, they're blanking out registration numbers of cars.

Yeah, they are. That's very clever. Ah, but they've got a man there, they're not blanking out his face.

Isn't that strange? Maybe he said he doesn't mind. Maybe he said he likes his face. Maybe he said, well, I was born with it.

Why would I want people to see my face? Oh, he's born with it. Let me have a look. Oh no, his face is now fizzled.

Not fizzled. Oh, I remember that road. Oh no, his face wasn't fizzled.

The number bus is 475. It's really weird, right? If you go to Stratford, if for those from other countries that went to the Olympic Games and maybe came to London and thought, wow, such a lovely place. And you know, you go there, maybe you've been before.

Been before? And you think, wow, this is like a road changed a lot. It's so much upmarket now. It's just not really nice.

It's like, yeah, I knew within about a mile. It was kind of like, it was the opposite to a bomb. It was like a nice, happy bomb that got set off in Stratford and it made everything nice and clean and tidy and new and shiny.

Then you get out of that radius and you're back to exactly the same road as before. And it is the same, the same buildings, the same railings. I mean, you could probably go to that part of the Romford Road.

Okay. And there's another road now. What road is that? It is Vernon Road.

Okay. So you can, so let's go down Vernon Road. I bet you that looks the same pretty much as it did 30 years ago.

There's going to be some changes. Some of the houses might be painted a different color, but generally, you know, the cars will be different, of course. But the houses, you know, not many houses would have got knocked down.

Houses stay up for a long, long time. Long time. Now here's what I'm thinking.

I'm going to turn around and go back. That's it. I'm going to go back.

Here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to, I'm going to go to where I lived and Google Maps. I'm going to see if I can get there.

Okay. All right. No, that's not what I wanted.

That's the opposite to what I wanted. Oh, it's the university. Let's go back.

Let's go back. Romford Road. Right.

Now, which way is the way to Stratford? Oh, okay. Right. Now I know where we are.

So if I just go back like that, where's the bus? Okay. I'm just going to keep going down Romford Road to see how far we can go before I know where I am. Hopefully I won't end up in Romford, but there's a chance I will.

That's the library. Isn't it? So I go down there. Isn't that the library? Oh, that is, it's all cordoned off.

Mind you, maybe it's closed. They're doing building work. I'm trying to look at the sign.

Water Lane is the lane that leads to Stratford. Pretty sure. Although it doesn't look very familiar to me anymore.

So what I'm going to do is go that way. No, that way. That's where Stratford is.

Oh, I know where I am. It is. That was Water Lane, I remember.

Because Maryland train station is, I've just turned the corner into Forest Lane, which leads to Forest Gate. And I'm actually there. I'm outside.

I'm at the roundabout where Forest Gate, where Maryland station is. It's all changed. It's all changed.

There used to be a massage parlor there. Apparently. Wow.

So the roundabout is almost, well, it used to be built up. You used to be able to sit there. There used to be toilets there.

Great place to meet new people. And of course there's a seat you could sit down on. And, right, so I'm just going to go around here.

So that's the entrance to the, so there's a route, there's the zebra crossing. Or you might say zebra, but you'd be wrong. And so I'm going to go around the roundabout.

Oh, it was hiding a bit of the roundabout. That's okay. It's all right.

What on earth is that? Oh, it's okay. Maryland train station. Oh, it looks quite nice.

It's a little bit different to before, but what I really want to do is just quickly jump over there. That's it. Keep going.

Keep going this way. Yes. I've even got a little thing on the roundabout.

So basically this big roundabout, they've got nothing on it anymore. It's pretty bare. Oh, that kid with the blue backpack.

He's still there. 30 years later. So now we're heading towards Leytonstone.

So let me see what differences there are. It's still grubby. This is, I would say this is less than a mile from Stratford train station.

The shops have all got the shutters. You know those shutters? The really grimy, grimy, gromy shutters that basically let you know that you're not in a good neighborhood. And yeah, so there, everyone's got shutters.

And there are, there are flats above the shops. But when you're walking down the street, you can't see really the flats above because the shop, fronts of the shops take up your vision really. Ah, but I see something new here.

There's something new. Right. There's, oh, I haven't seen that before.

There's a complex. It's got shops downstairs, but it's a new building that I've not seen before. That's nice.

There's also a pharmacy that wasn't there before. Okay. Let's go down the road.

See what else is here. See if there's, this doesn't seem familiar at all. I think I might have gone in the wrong direction.

There's a Tesco there. This can't be the same area. It can't be.

Leytonstone. But then there's a tower block of flats that my friend used to live in. Surely this can't be the same place.

Here's me saying it hasn't changed at all. I've been there for quite a while. That place on the right, that used to be a garage.

I think there was a brothel just above it, apparently. I'm still in the same road. The reason that tower block was kind of out of the ordinary is it was the only one around.

It was like just a little patch of ground which you could run around. You know, it's not a big area of ground, but just a huge block of flats, which was, well, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, at least 20 floors high. Seriously, it was kind of wow.

So now, well things have changed. Glory Hole. Oh no, Glory Date Inn.

Dynasty London Barbers. I think I might have gone too far up. I think I have.

I think I've gone too far up. And every time I think that, I see something I don't recognize. Wow, no.

I'll get a no in a minute because no. Guernsey Road. If I look across the road, there'll be another entrance there is.

No, this surely isn't the same place. That actually looks nice. It looks nice.

See, if this is the same place, then we're coming up to a place where there used to be pizza places. And just after that would be the road that I used to live in. Trust Munch.

A post office that used to be there. No. Karachi.

There used to be a pizza. Go Go. Pizza Go Go.

No. Pizza Go. It is the same place.

And there's the corner shop that I used to go to. What is it now? It's a store, but it's a big store. No.

And then there's the garage. I forgot about that garage. As I turn right, there used to be an off-license on the corner.

Jansen Wines. It's still there. Still the same name.

And it's still grubby. Actually, I'll say it's still there. By the looks of it, it might have closed.

I don't know. But I used to go in there quite sometime, quite often. There used to be a zebra crossing there.

Now there is. Good. Which brings us to another road.

So turn right into this road. And then I turn left into this road. Wow.

I'm not going to tell you the name of this road, but trust me, this is. Oh my goodness. Looking at the street sign now.

So now I'm looking at the road. Looks exactly the same. Exactly the same.

Let me have a look at the... Mind you, what's that there? Oh, it's just a wall. Oh. Hmm.

Well, there's someone standing there. So I'm trying to get an idea. I want to see.

I just want to see a number of the house. I want to see the number. Oh, I found it.

I found it. Unfortunately, it's very tiny writing. But I should know I lived there for quite sometime.

That's weird. There used to be a wall dividing the two houses, but there isn't now. I'm now looking at the... I'm looking at the window I used to live in.

I didn't... Did you really live in a window? No, I didn't live in a window, but I'm living... I used to live up... Wow, I didn't used to have that before. Oh, wait a minute. I thought there were windows, but they're not.

They're solar panels. No. Oh, good.

Well, I've lost it. Here's me trying to find the number of the... On the... On the wall, the number of the house. What I need to do is look at the bins, the recycling bins, because the numbers all over it.

Big huge number. Wow. How weird is that? And also, I didn't realise that.

I just noticed it, because it was council house originally, and it still looks like a council house. I don't say that with any kind of malice. It's fine.

I'm living in a council flat, and I like it. But there's one, two, three, five, six. Probably about six houses, and then the rest of them are big, much bigger houses.

And the other side of the road. Who's that looking through the window at me? Hello. Hello, how are you? Stop staring into my window.

Okay, sorry. Wow. This has been a... Oh, you know what? I know I've pretty much used my time up, but I just want to go back.

So that's the house I lived in there for a few years, actually. It's very different now. Didn't have the... I'm pretty sure it didn't have the... What do they call it? You know, when you've got a door.

I don't mean a door, but like a little conservatory in front of the front door. I forget. Anyway, I'm going to wave goodbye to that.

Blimey. And that window. I'm going to go back, because I'm going to go to the end here, and I'm going to go all the way down to the end of this road.

All the way down. And this looks all the same, but the end of this road is the house I moved into in 1991, January. Just got to go to the end of the road, because it wasn't far.

In fact, I think it's further by Google Map than it is in reality. Oh no, we're here. Okay.

So turn left. Oh no, I went too far. Turn left, then turn right, and then we turn left again in a minute.

Somewhere along the way. Yes, turn left again. Wow.

Yep. And it's a cul-de-sac. So my chair is creaking.

Now we're in a cul-de-sac. And now I'm staring at the house that I used to live in. I won't go any further, because I know I've got a good picture of the house.

Wow. Absolutely amazing for some reason. See, that's confusing me.

Does that mean that the upstairs room had two windows? Because there was only two bedrooms upstairs. I'm pretty sure my room only had one window, unless the other room was just bigger. Memory lane.

And next to that house, next to my house, was my house. And it's all different now, but they used to be like a social services place. Wow, it's nice.

Very pretty. Got a veranda. But that house looks exactly the same as it did when I lived in it.

Exactly the same. But less flowers. There used to be a lot of flowers there.

Wow. And I'm just looking at the exit. This is something I used to see every day as I'd walk down.

How strange. I'll come out of there now. My pod bin haven't got back to me, so I guess they'll do it later.

How strange. How unusual. Maybe not.

I don't know. I might have done in the past. I don't remember.

I don't recall spending much time on Google Maps. Was it Google Earth? I don't know. Google Maps, but you know, it's the actual pictures, not just the line.

Not just the line. To see that building. Wow.
