And for those that haven't watched or listened to me before and I am Jason and this podcast is basically this used to be just me yawning today but it's basically me talking for about an hour roughly and that's it really just oh it's a good bit of gas now lovely excuse me pardon me gas and yawning blimey all the bodily well not all the bodily functions but give it time and it's just really a I don't know what it is it's kind of developed and it's grown you know it's grown a bit like my tummy

it's just kind of grown into something very different to what it used to be and the main thing is it's boring boring enough to fall asleep to and I just talk that's it really sometimes I talk about things that are happening in my life and sometimes I don't other times I talk about things other things I'm not sure what really I've only done 357 of them I'm trying to think is it 357 something like that oh I'm really tired oh I haven't felt greatly well the last few days I'm being a little bit tired quite

tired so I'll probably do a little nap at some point so let's have a look let me bore you to sleep 357 recordings so this this is the 358 yeah and I wonder oh wow wow wow I wonder actually all together there are 358 episodes actually already but it's like a special recording that Andre made it's a little bit of a silly recording so it's just hidden it's a little hidden special that you have to find for yourself by looking through and so I did that a month or two ago but so far there's 398

hours and six minutes worth of me 398 hours and six minutes of me talking absolute rubbish wow it's quite impressive really isn't it in a a non-impressive way so there you go what's that what's that okay so I'm just on Facebook having a little look so yesterday yesterday or yesterday I said I don't know if I mentioned it but I said if you'd like to leave you'd like me to do a shout out or say something say hello or if you've maybe got a funny story or you know perhaps if you've got a link to

a a newspaper article that's humorous or maybe just really cute or nice you know then maybe send it to me because you know I never run out of things to talk about but it would be nice to maybe have to have more involvement from the listeners you you that are listening especially in these I think it's fair to say strange times and the date today is 24th of March 2020 so for those watching or listening rather you know in 30 years time you can maybe google google that date to find out what I'm mentioning but

I'm not going to mention it but it's you know something's going on at the moment and you know for me I was going to do a podcast called The Coronavirus Alternative and I realized I just mentioned what I wasn't going to mention but I've realized I'm already doing that because all of my recordings are an alternative to that so these are an alternative it's gentle it's very occasionally slightly very slightly humorous very occasionally I don't know once probably every three months I might say something mildly amusing but um usually to myself it's usually I'm the

one that finds my stuff funny I'm hilarious to myself and I do actually sometimes think things and start laughing and you know what I'm so grateful for that I'm so damn grateful that I can make myself laugh just for the simple fact that because of my because of the like the bipolar personality disorder stuff that I've got going on it's so nice that my brain even though it's given me it feeds a lot of rubbish to me it also gives me a treat every now and then it just gives me the giggles so I quite

like my brain actually it's uh it's it's a relationship isn't it it's it's kind of my main relief my main relationship outside of me and Andre is just dealing with my own mind just you know trying to placate myself sometimes and keep everything okay reminding myself that yeah baby it's gonna be fine this is just temporary it's only temporary there'll be something on the news different in a few weeks so yeah so and also the whisper sessions the deep sleep whisper they're an alternative to what's going on in the world the weekly sleep sessions again

and also the relaxation for stress and anxiety podcasts because there I hope I hope they're useful for people in these times to help them to relax more yeah so I think I don't need another podcast I think I'm I'm okay just to continue to do the podcasts I'm already doing because there's quite a few to keep track of that was boring wasn't it see anyone ever says that's that's the one thing I can never be no one ever can complain and say that my podcast is not boring because they are this is this one can't

complain say it's not boring and that's the best part of it is no one can ever really complain I mean people have complained but they can't complain that it's not boring and it does say it's a boring podcast and boredom does induce sleep it really does I've nearly fallen asleep on my feet listening to someone talk and the thing is being bored isn't doesn't mean the other person's boring it just they can but I don't I don't think anyone's actually boring I think it's just that the subject that they're interested in talking about is not

interesting to the recipient in that particular situation that's all so I like to think that I'm not being derogative towards anybody when it comes to talking about the word boring because it's not that the person's boring it's just I could just repeat what I just said but you know it's basically they might be boring no it's it's not that they're boring but they might some people and I'm in this I'm in this category I am you see if I don't talk about why do this stuff to other people if I don't talk about this then

I'm very limited to what I can talk about I'm not talk I'm not going to talk about hypnosis because that's in itself it's not going to be an interesting subject to other people generally and also I've been in some conversations when a person sort of been wanting asking me questions about hypnosis and I just if you want to know about it read a book I'm not I don't want to teach anyone anything not really not okay that's not correct but I don't want I don't know how to explain it some people just like to ask

question after question after question and I don't like to answer question after question after question I feel if I'm going to bore someone well actually I want to I do kind of want to bore them I think maybe that's what it is because if someone's interested in what I'm saying takes the fun out of it for me maybe that's what it is it's like what you want to hear about my life well I don't want to tell you about it then if you want to hear about it so the only other thing I really talk

about I've got a friend I have honest God I've got a friend and I know I bore him when I talk about boxing and he loves boxing but not in the same way that I do so he used to be a boxer and you know he still watches stuff when it's on telly but I I'm not obsessed but I'm really really into it I did some boxing but not I didn't compete he actually fought you know in the ring I never did that I just used to train for a couple of years and but I'm

kind of sometimes I get stuck in this like all I want to do is talk about boxing and I want to talk about it with him because he he likes boxing as well but I can see his eyes glaze over sometimes like oh what do you keep going on about it for I've got no one else to talk to about it ah I just realized I could talk about it here yeah I could talk about boxing here wow what a great idea of yours anyway I want to do a shout out I said everyone would

like to do a shout out or anything Rihanna Greer, Riri sent me a message today saying well actually it was an hour ago uh she says yeah give me a wee shout out please hope you're staying safe kiss kiss kiss she's um I've not heard her talk but I imagine that's how she sounds yeah give me a wee shout out please I'm sure she doesn't yeah sorry Rihanna I know you don't sound like that so I'll try shall I try and do a Scottish accent yeah give me a wee shout out please hope you're staying

safe I can't my accents are really terrible but it doesn't stop me Rachel I say a shout out for Rachel she sent me a picture I'm not going to tell you what it is I only mean her know what it is but it was a silly picture not exactly what I expected I'm very angry very very angry with you Rachel and someone else posted something earlier I can't remember who it was it might have been Natalie someone posted something I know what it was but I just want to see who it was so I can

mention them because then I'll know um who it was um Natalie Merkley shout out to all the essential workers who are risking their lives due to this current situation so yeah shout out to all the health workers whether you're a doctor nurse health care assistant if you're working in as a cleaner in the hospital to be fair the cleaners probably the most important job isn't it in a sense whatever the the role of if anyone's listening to this and you're involved in the health sector of your country wherever you're listening then yeah big shout out

to all of you for doing such a wonderful job not just now but all throughout you know our lives basically and Andre sends his love he does he's sending big kisses and hugs to all of you and I don't think I've had any other messages I'll have a look there's a chance I might have done I'll just have a little check and then I'll get on to talking about boxing boxing boxing oh my tummy just went burp oh no it's nothing yeah nothing at all so let's have a look see if I've posted anything on

twitter twitter I actually do have a new email address it's jason at jasonnewland.com um oh well so I'm just distracted by something I've seen on twitter I've I'm not I'm not a huge fan the only thing I like about twitter because I've got hardly any followers I'm literally where is it 600 661 followers so I'm very very very little I don't yeah I'm not very prolific on twitter I do post every every new recording on there but I just yeah I'm not really a known phenomena on twitter but what I like about it is I get to follow people that I like that's why I think it's quite

good about twitter is I don't follow friends I follow famous people that I like I want to say famous people generally boxers and so you know I can get out of an update on before I was joking when I said I was going to talk about boxing I never joke about boxing I I follow a lot of boxers but I also follow politicians all types of politicians let me just see yeah see who I follow I'll tell you who they are and some of them are people that you'd think why are you following him for

because he's you know maybe unpopular with a lot of people but there's a reason because I like to see what they've got to say and from a I don't know just from a social world I don't know I'm trying to figure something clever to say but I can't so I've got punchy I'm following punchy so I follow 193 people and most of the people I follow the people that I like and some are people I don't necessarily like but I'm following them just out of interest to see what nasty things I've got to say it

just kind of just interests me so I'm following Les Dennis who was a big person in my childhood it wasn't like my dad or anything but he was a comedian on television and he was I suppose you know I'm not going to compare Les Dennis to Peppa Pig but I don't I'm not really up on what the kids like now I know Peppa Pig is huge for but but it's more a lot younger kids isn't it but when I was yeah early 80s like 10 or whatever and Les Dennis used to be on the telly

and like Kenny Everett and those kind of people can't follow Kenny Everett because he's not here anymore and I'm not following Les Dennis because I can't follow Kenny Everett and it's two different things but so I follow Les Dennis because he's to me he's a legend and he was a comedian on Saturday night early television but he also did a lot of like game shows and you know stuff like that so yeah so he's he's like a legend from my childhood really next I've got so I've got Punchy at the top she's one of my

followers and then I've got Adam Sandler and I've been watching Adam Sandler films for well I'm trying to think of the first Adam Sandler film it's gotta be The Wedding Singer probably and then The Waterboy and Little what was it what was it Little something when he's the devil coming back and Little Freddy Little Eddie I forget anyway so I've probably seen pretty much every Adam Sandler film Sandler Sandler and Eddie Izzard he's a comedian stand-up comedian activist and when I was doing stand-up comedy he was like a comedy god he was at the very

top of the pile of comedians not comedians on telly but just comedians stand-up comedians he was at the top even above the ones that on telly he was the most admired stand-up comedian at that time on the alternative circuit I mean I'm sure people like Jimmy Jones and I forget his name now yeah on the like the mainstream circuit at that time was still huge as well and their videos out but on an alternative circuit Eddie Izzard was the king and just trust me on that he was probably as popular with the other comedians as

he was with the audiences much loved much loved that comedian still is next I've got Bible of Boxing then I've got so that's that's just a website it's you know oh it's Ring Magazine so Ring Magazine is it's the Bible of Boxing so yeah cool been around since 1922 Callum Smith who is the super middleweights WBA super yeah he's just a WBA champion super champion and big baby Miller who's another heavyweight boxer that was supposed to fight AJ Anthony Joshua but he got done for taking steroids or some drug enhancement thing and in the end

Anthony Joshua fought Ortiz is it Ortiz that's terrible but anyway he got he got beaten by this bloke and then he won the titles back but he was supposed to have fought big baby Miller boxing scene. com following them Piers Morgan so again I'm not like a big fan of Piers Morgan but I'm interested in what he's got to say Andrew Neil another person that I've been watching for years he's a political television broadcaster he's like a pitbull when he interviews people he's really really really quite aggressive actually but in other sides you see that he's really gentle so it's kind of strange to see him in both ways so Philip Schofield he's one of the most he's the probably the biggest television presenter in the UK or in England and I don't

know about UK but he's in England he's the biggest other than Ant and Dec Philip Schofield and another one what's the name that works with he's on a TV daytime show called This Morning it's on in the morning and he basically has been on television since he was about three he's been on TV for got 40 years or something silly like that seriously he's lovely so then you've got Eamon Holmes who's another presenter deep TV daytime presenter and you've got Ian Dale who is an LBC presenter excuse me got gas gas gas all the way

and during the the Tory leadership prior to the election in December Ian Dale actually interviewed a lot of the candidates for the Tory leadership but he's on LBC I think weekdays for about three hours each day then we've got Juvonte Davis and this surprises me I know that I've not got many followers you know 661 but I'm I'm an unknown person but Juvonte Davis is one of the best boxers in the world it's unbeaten Andy Ruiz that's the one that beat Andy Joshua Andy Ruiz I follow him as well so Juvonte Davis is phenomenal they

call him tank he's such a brilliant boxer but he's only got 250,000 followers I don't understand why he hasn't got more because he's so good he's anyway I follow him because I think he's brilliant and then you've got someone like Katie Hopkins I'm not a fan of Katie Hopkins but I follow her because I like to keep track of what the extremists are up to and she's an extreme real extreme person and she's got a million followers one million so I'm to be found following her so I can't really moan that people are following her

but I'm just interested some of the things she posts are just so wrong you've got Bob Mortimer he's on here as well follow him Rachel Swindon I only followed her because she was saying stuff that was really outrageous and got into a lot of problems so I thought I'd just follow to see what she was about because I like to keep track of people like that James O'Brien he's LBC radio host that I sometimes listen to but he's on during the day right in the morning about 10 to 1 which is a bit early for

me I'm usually in bed at that time but he's a very very thoughtful radio presenter it's talk radio and he takes calls so they can you know talk to him he's just really thoughtful and so you can kind of he he talks through his thought processes and he's got how many has he got 603 000 LBC radio station 394 000 so I followed them I do listen to a lot of LBC it's happened the last few years I've just listened to more and more rather than watching television next is team Mikey Garcia and Mikey Garcia's

he was I think pound for pound best in the world a couple of years ago and you know great he's still a champion as well he's yeah I'm not sure what he is now and I lose track I think he's he's had different world champions at different titles at different places Devin Haney see I don't know much about Devin Haney yeah I know he's unbeaten and he's really good but I follow him anyway Jamal Charlo again less than 48 000 followers and he's unbeaten middleweight champion of the world phenomenal 33 fights no losses 22 ko's

yeah he's and he's got a twin brother who's something else Charlo Jermaine or I might have him on there as well I don't know but I just don't understand why they don't have large followings online especially I tell you what I reckon it is I reckon some of those younger men who are boxers they've probably got a real large following on Instagram because I post in pictures of themselves training and in the shower or whatever so in the shower but I'm just saying it's I suppose because that's more the younger thing Twitter I guess isn't

so much a huge thing as it used to be Errol Spence 157 000 so he's a he's brilliant absolutely brilliant boxer unbeaten he's a world of weights world champion and he was actually in a really serious car crash but he came out of it without any too much injury so I hope it hasn't affected his boxing I hope it hasn't affected his life but obviously you know boxing as well so I've got Michelle Joy Phillips CCTV idiots as well I follow them Royzen Conaty Terence Crawford another boxer fatter first three times WBO champion my father

first one undisputed champion WBA IBF WBO WBC so he's unbeaten as well I do believe so three times WBO champion no he can't be unbeaten can he yes let me just check Terence Crawford I thought Terence Crawford Errol Spence I thought he was unbeaten he is unbeaten oh I'll tell you what it is he's unbeaten but he's won yeah he won the lightweight title world lightweight title WBO WBO junior welterweight title and then a WBO or welterweight title and the light well blimey he won WBO and IBF lightweight a light welterweight champion and then he

he won the WBO welterweight champion blimey so he's unbeaten he's got to be about 31 now though 32 okay I follow he's got to have a million no 178 Elon Musk see this is what I don't Elon Musk has got 32.

7 million followers and I can't remember the last time I saw him post anything and I come on to you on Twitter quite often but then Elon Musk is a huge name isn't it in the industry of cars electric cars and stuff and okay and then you five amandu amando um Iannucci is is really funny is really if you ever get a chance to check it out and I don't know where you would see it I generally don't know what um what channel or you know but if you look up a man armando a-r-m-a-n-d-o i-n-n-u-c-c-i

and and I think it is the Armando Iannucci show it's really funny and it's really good it's quite a while back but it's very good and I've got Susie Dent she's got to have over a million no it's Rachel Riley I've got Rachel Riley Josh Taylor's another boxer and IBF WBA and Ring Magazine Unified World Champion we are at the top baby that's cool that's I follow him World Boxing Super Series Nao Inoue he's another boxer told you follow boxers Andrew Maxwell Maxwell is a comedian Sinead O'Connor so I follow her Nick Abbott and I

follow him he's got a radio show every Friday and Saturday night on LBC 10 to 1 and I actually listen to it as if it's a TV program it might sound strange and I don't think I've ever done that before actually set aside that time period is just for one person to listen to them on the radio but he's very funny and he's got he says a lot of quite good things I've got Pamela Adam Watara and there's a couple of reasons she's on now but I've got Andy Ruiz Jr he's the he won the

WB he won the world champion heavyweight champion from Anthony Joshua and then he lost it again a few months later I've got Beth I've got Lawrence Acolia he's another boxer Ricky Hatton another former boxer Coogan Cassius who's a boxer and he films boxers Amber Rudd why am I following Amber Rudd that's strange she's a MP CEO of social distancing what boogie2988 oh okay that wasn't his original name it's boogie2988 I was once that fat youtuber guy that broke stuff he's um how many people has he got following him 625 000 boogie boogie boogie man or

whatever you think he was called and a couple of others and Claire Williams Glad Setsuma Tommy Fury so he's Tyson Fury's brother he's a boxer as well I follow I follow Boris Johnson the Prime Minister he's a Prime Minister so hey I think it's good to keep up track what the uh what the person in charge of the country is up to and I'm following Pieter André when did that happen wow he's got 3.

2 million followers wow he is popular and following Sarah Gibbs don't know who she is okay Canelo Alvarez or Canelo Alvarez and it says here boxador professional he's pretty much the most famous boxer in the world and the highest paid kind of outside of the heavyweight division that is because those heavyweight fights can really raise some cash but he's you know he's the pretty much the top fighter I think pound for pound in the world kind of Ryland Clark Neal started off as the joke and still laughing and he's he's got 1.

6 million followers good for you mate he started off on um what was it x-factor and he was kind of one of the joke acts you know that um Louis put through but the audience liked him and he didn't get through to win but he was in there for quite a while and I said the audience liked him even the panel liked him apart from one person and it was take that um whatever his name is the leader take that and you know they didn't sort of didn't really warm to him and then he went

on to I think he won celebrity big brother but I didn't see that that epistat series so didn't have a television and he he's done loads of stuff now been on tv for years it's a long time now since he was on big on x factor so follow Ricky Gervais he's got had millions isn't he 14.

2 million I think he's other than Elon Musk I think Ricky Gervais has got the most and so far follow God 6. 1 million and so he's basically yeah he's he posts funny stuff I've got Greta Thunberlina 17 year old climate and environmental activists with Asperger's and she's got 4. 1 million boxing on BT sport I follow I've got David Price so he's he's a heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora follow him he's a boxer Scrootery Semper I don't know what that is but I'm following it Christian Guru Murphy he's channel 4 anchorman or tv reporter whatever Mike Tyson and he's got 5.

3 million Katie Price I didn't realize I was following her he's got 1.

9 million UK house of commons 34 okay so I think Gillian I might have followed some of these and now I'm not sure if they're still following me I wonder click on Nancy excuse me sniff sniff sniffle McSniffle I'm sure car boot vinyls is following me following huh I don't know I'd have to look through the people that are following me to see that I've got Gillian Madeleine Kay Ben Davidson Ben Davidson he used to coach Tyson Fury and Billy Joe Saunders and I've also got Billy Joe Saunders Billy Joe Saunders he's WBO super middleweight

champion also former middleweight champion WBO and he's probably going to be fighting Canelo Alvarez in May depending upon whether or not any sporting events can go ahead at that time but he did something really naughty a few days ago Ben Davidson who I mentioned a second ago who used to be his coach and a couple of other men and we were on a flight getting onto a flight I don't know if it was in America or somewhere and this is what it said in a paper so I'm only going on what it says there whether

it's true or not but it said Billy Joe Saunders phoned up the airport and said that one of them has the Coronavirus and they were all removed from the plane it was just basically a prank that Billy Joe played on them and it's something that you'd see on a TV show but obviously it must have caused so much so much hassle for everyone involved but he's a proper joker Billy Joe but I bet they weren't happy with him, well I guarantee they weren't happy with him I'm not sure I'd have seen the funny side to

the World Cup but we we didn't get through in the end we didn't obviously win it but we did really well it was one of the last times that we did really well and because that was when it was in Barcelona wasn't it and there was two songs that were actually being played there was the MetaDorva whatever it is with Marceline Pavarotti NessaDorva NessaDorva Nessa'sDorva so that one was being played but also because it was in Barcelona Barcelona they played Freddie Mercury's Barcelona as well on the telly so it was two songs anyway I I

met him and he was one of these comedians that he did the comedy cafe Wednesday night which was a new act night but he did it and then won it because it was a competition and people like me go there for weeks and weeks years sometimes and never really sort of progress particularly or maybe very slowly but I was probably one of the only ones that did it as slow as I did but he won it the first night basically whenever he did it he won it and there was a group a group of comedians

that would just keep winning it Nick Wilty and David Schneider er er who else I'm just thinking at that time in the early 90s er there's a few but I can't remember all of them Rona Cameron and she went on to do well she's a comedian but she did the I think she did the very first Jungle Get Me Out Of Here series in England well it was in Australia but the English version and I wonder why doesn't Australia do a version and have it in Nottingham Forest or something they'd have to eat squirrels that

would be it there's no wildlife and who else was there, so Nick Wilty I was thinking of him the other day, he was Irish and one of his jokes was what was his name but it was the I but I gave up trying to please my, I gave up trying to please my wife it just took too long to grow the beard Harvey O'Leary Harvey O'Leary he used to always win it as well when he went on there when he performed and there's a few others as well it wasn't just them but there was a

few others that went on and a living but he's still doing it now but Harvey O'Leary I don't know what happened to him because he was he wasn't the first deadpan comedian but he was definitely one of the first I mean there was a deadpan comedian that was in Red Dwarf who played the the computer and also Hattie Hadridge she was quite deadpan as well so Harvey O'Leary was very different from, well everyone's different but you know he's I'm surprised he didn't go on to be like a huge star he's very funny but he was

almost kind of like that offstage as well he was very quiet very nice very just yeah I got on really well with him I liked him a lot so but David Schneider what he did is he did his impressions and things like that and then he did a thing to music and I think it was the World Cup music the Nessadorm Pavalotti song and it's basically this big mime of the whole event but he does it on stage with the music it's so funny and it's something that you could just you wouldn't forget it unless

of course you forgot it then you know you would but it was really and it was really lovely as well I'm really in a lovely mood everyone's lovely but they were that's the thing they were nice to me not every comedian was nice to me but they were I think the first they're the first people I really met and kind of got to know and I'd seen them for years Nick Grotti he was probably one of my first friends on the comedy circuit and he was he'd already won a competition in Canada a stand up

competition and he was a traveller I don't mean in the term the traveller as in travelling around in a caravan or anything but he travelled he loved travelling the world he'd been in the army I think previous army or the marines or something like that and he loved travelling so he travelled the world probably many times so he had all these stories and knew loads of things and seen so many different things and he was a brilliant comedian really funny but he was really nice to me so you know he said to me once I'm

not sure if he was being just being nice but he said people listen to you Jason because you're worth listening to and he said by the way I'm talking about when you're off stage not when you're on stage I said okay okay but he did have a point I was quite rude when I was on stage when I first started I wanted to be like Sam Kinison I did generally I wanted to be like a shock comedian and in all reality I could go way beyond anything that Sam Kinison could come up with as far

as disgustingness but it's not it's not about that it's about making it funny and I didn't it wasn't very I wasn't able to you know Sam Kinison if no one's ever seen him he was a brilliant performer it wasn't just what he said it was how he looked it was his voice what a beautiful voice he had I'm into voices I like voices he had a perfect just the perfect voice and I think and I don't care if it upsets people the current American president reminds me of Sam Kinison sometimes sometimes some of the things

he says is inflected similar to Sam Kinison and there's a delivery there's almost a stand up comedian delivery with the current president not with everything obviously I'm just saying some of the verbal delivery yeah so I think that he could have been a comedian if he had gone down a different route and Sam Kinison was a preacher you know he could have been a famous famous preacher because I can't imagine anyone would be able to do it as good as him or no one could do it better than him he could do it he knew

everything about how to preach and he was raised to preach and he had the voice he had the energy but he decided to be a comedian instead but as a David Schneider groovy fella however I'm starting to feel a little bit not homesick because it's been a long time since I've performed on stage 1998 January so 98 2008 22 years I could go back but I can't just go back I'd have to it's a process because you know I know I've got an audience but my audience is worldwide so if I had the audience I've

got worldwide in England I could possibly do like a little tour not a huge tour but like a little run you know maybe it might be enough to do a show for 30 or 40 or 50 people you know in different areas around the country but you know it's it's impossible with such a big span of people dotted all around the globe but I have thought about it'd be quite cool to actually I'll share this with you something I came over the other day and I bookmarked it that's it it's Jill Edwards Comedy Workshop and

I'm thinking of doing this not this year because there's no point booking anything this year as I've decided well not I haven't decided the world is decided but I have too much respect for it's weird I actually do have respect for authority which I kind of feel a little bit disgusted at myself with it's weird isn't it maybe it's because I'm an adult now but generally I don't I want everyone to be safe I really do I don't I'm not a I'm not a I guess I'm not a people's person necessarily but I still care

you know I still care about humanity and people and so anyway the course is the 15th of July so I can't do it because it's for a week they do do it during the you know weekend ones and stuff but because it's in Brighton it would be better for me to do it in a week like go for the week course it's like what is it 10.

30 to 4.

30pm and it's the 15th of July so what I'm thinking of doing is booking it maybe wait a few months to save up and perhaps book it for next year which would be July next year do the course and then start to do some open spots you know in London maybe even local and just maybe dip into some of the stuff that I've talked about in some of my recordings see if there's any funny stuff there that I could sort of interwine into the I kind of think that I could talk about real stuff now

I don't have to sort of well I do make stuff up but it's sort of talk about my life you know and about bipolar and stuff like that just make it funny I think I think I could but I do miss it because I loved comedy I loved I loved the comedians they didn't all love me but I loved the comedy clubs just the whole thing it was it was my life I mean literally it was what I lived for for the first, yeah for at least 5 years I did it for 8 years but

or 7, 8 91, 92, 93 94, 95 96, 97 so 7 years it wound down quite a lot near the end so for the first 91 I did loads of gigs 92 loads, 93 I started to get good, well I started to get bookings and started to get a little bit of interest from like club owners and I got you know I got paid a little bit, not much but it's still nice and then 93 in about September I had a newspaper article that kind of messed things up for me I still carried on though

94 I was getting better I got through to the New Act Hackney New Act of the Year contest got through to one of the semi finals and but that was as far as I got but I did get through the audience laughed, I just didn't win it and so that was good 95 I started to get a bit political I started to talk about stuff in the news that was going quite well and so I was enjoying it 96 I did it less because I was working I did a few gigs but I was working

quite a lot of the time in security 97 didn't do too much either, I was working and then I was not very well and then 98 the end of 97, beginning of 98 I did a few gigs and then that was it so I'd quite like to yeah I'm thinking of perhaps getting back into it, just as a for fun solely for the fun just to have some fun but I probably talked too much so that course would be July 2021 it's going to cost 465 pounds so it's you know something I'll have to save

up for but it could be really good, it could actually be I might actually be quite good at it now I'm not sure I might have a bit more confidence possibly I don't know especially if I can promote it and if it's in London maybe some of the people that listen to me in London might come along I could say look I'm going to be at this venue come along and support me so I might have like two people turn up be good, anyway thank you for listening I'm going to go to the toilet now
