Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. This is I Let Me Bore You To Sleep. I've just turned the heating off in order to make sure that the radiator doesn't click.
And now it's clicking as it's turning off. I've never been so angry. So please only listen when you can safely close your eyes and if you're an adult.
So what else? I thought I would do a little, a little shout out. A little shout out. A little shout out.
And so I might do that in a minute. Before that, I'll give you a little update on the website. And last night or yesterday, I announced a big announcement.
It was a bigger announcement than Prince Harry talking about moving to Canada is I was gripping this. There was at least five people listened. I was like, wow.
And just talking about making the website or monetizing the website, I suppose that's the clinical term. Because it's already a shop. It's just all the downloads for free.
So now it's still a free service. You can, if you go to the website, let me tell you what it says. What does it say? Let me have a look.
I said jasonnewland.com. So there's a picture, a little banner at the top. Jason Newland's free hypnosis service since 2006 with a picture of Andre. Very cute.
And then underneath that it's written thousands of hypnosis MP3s. I'll put thousands, over a thousand. So maybe is that an exaggeration if I put thousands when it is probably about 12, 1300, 1200.
I could put over a thousand, but it's thousands. It's over a thousand, thousands. I don't know.
Anyway, I can change that in two seconds if I want. So it says thousands of hypnosis MP3s, free to stream, one pound to instantly download. Free to stream, one pound to instantly download.
Free is with big capital letters. And underneath that, I've got, if you like what I do, leave a review. And then underneath that, I've got the latest recordings.
So I've got six of the latest recordings. And underneath that, I've got the list of the different categories, sort of sleep, forward slash, insomnia, free to stream, one pound to instantly download. Then there's three, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 10 categories there, 10 different courses or, you know, that you can choose from.
Then there's a stress forward slash relaxation, free to stream, one pound to instantly download. There's one, two, three, four, five, six, seven sections to that one. Then there's a chronic pain relief, free to stream, one pound to instantly download.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, eight sections there. Then there's the self-development, free to stream, one pound to instantly download. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven sections.
Then there's the chatting, free to stream, one pound to instantly download. One, two, three, four, five, six. And then lastly, stop smoking.
And there's two there. This is all categorized. I've tried to put down how many is in each one.
For example, sleep, insomnia, hypnosis, there's 45 recordings. Sleep, hypnosis, whisper, there's 12 recordings. Let me bore you to sleep, there's 307 recordings.
This is now 308. Deep sleep, whisper, it's 177 recordings. Sleep hypnosis weekly is 31 recordings.
Sleep hypnosis with music is 15 recordings. In bed with hypnosis, in bed with hypnosis, in bed with Jason's three recordings. Fall asleep with Jason is six recordings.
Fall asleep counting sheep, oh it rhymes, it's five recordings. Seven day cure insomnia, seven recordings. Then the relaxation hypnosis, 199 recordings.
Relaxation hypnosis for stress, anxiety, and panic attacks, 77 recordings. Short relaxation hypnosis, 14 recordings. But I think that's still in the process of doing that one, I think.
I'll lose track. Short anxiety reduction, five recordings. Relaxation course, three recordings.
Live relaxation streams, eight recordings. And a 30 day relaxation plan, 30 recordings. And under the chronic pain relief section, chronic pain relief hypnosis, 54 recordings.
Short pain relief hypnosis, 10 recordings. Reduce your chronic pain, three recordings. Natural pain relief, two recordings.
Let me bore your pain away, six recordings. Chronic pain Tuesday, 10 recordings. Hypnotic pain relief, six recordings.
Webcam pain relief experience, four recordings. What weird titles I give stuff. Then under the self development, I've got self development, 71 recordings.
Self help under 10 minutes. Oh, that's the one I'm in the middle of doing. So yeah, so that means short relaxation hypnosis, that's actually a course, 14.
So that is complete, yeah. So I've started adding a few, trying to sort of break things up for people so that you can find stuff a little bit easier. And these are not on the self development one, the 71.
These are separate ones that I've not actually made available on the website before. So I'm doing that now. Not right now, you know, but I have been.
So I haven't got a number for those yet, how many there are. Self help under 10 minutes. How many are there at the moment? Oh, wow, there's 137.
You can stream them all, but I haven't uploaded them all yet onto the website. But you can, if you click on a link, there's actually an embedded player on every link you click, there's an embedded player, which you can stream from. As for example, if you go up, you click on the Let Me Bore You To Sleep, and it's got 307 in brackets, click on that.
And there's an embedded player with 307 episodes. And you can basically listen to every single one of them on that player for free. Or if you choose, you can go down, you can look through the menu.
So there's 307 episodes, you know, with pictures, and it's numbered 307, Let Me Bore You To Sleep, one pound 306. So let's say for example, you chose to 305, which was the 18th of January, although it says a pound underneath it, you click on it. And it does say you can add it to the car and it's a pound.
But underneath that is an embedded player where you can play it for free. And also underneath that is a link to all the different podcasts where you can play it for free as well. Podcast hosts.
So probably not doing myself any favours doing that really am I? I should like no, you can only get it here. But just letting you know that everything is still free. However, you can download all the recordings or you will be able to once I've kind of finished working on it.
There's a lot of recordings to go through, but there's still quite a few that are still free to download, but I need to sort of change those. All the ones I've done so far, all the sleep insomnia hypnosis, the 45 of those there, they're now a pound each. Sleep hypnosis whisper, 12 of those, they're a pound each.
Let Me Boy Sleep, 307 episodes or recordings a pound each. The Deep Sleep Whisper, 177 a pound each. The Sleep Hypnosis Weekly, 31 recordings were a pound each.
Sleep hypnosis music, they're all free to download as well as free to stream. In Bed With Jason, number three, free to stream. A pound to download each.
Fall Asleep With Jason, free to stream. Also Fall Asleep Counting Sheep and the 7 Day Insomnia Cure, they're also available to download. And I started working on the relaxation hypnosis, which is 199 recordings.
Oh dear. So that's quite a lot of, that's going to take a few hours to do those. But the Relaxation Hypnosis for Stress, Anxiety and Panic Attacks, 77 recordings, they're all a pound to download and free to stream.
So there's a fair bit of work to do. And yeah, I've got a few more I've got, I've already mentioned all this before though, but there's Jason Under The Self Development One. There's Jason's Daily Hypnosis Course, four recordings.
Daily Hypnosis, 2018 to 2019, 12 recordings. Those were long days, really. Daily Hypnosis With Jason, four recordings.
Daily Hypnosis Course, 18 recordings and one hour Daily Hypnosis Course, four recordings. So these are just old recordings I've done in the past. And, and I'm just sort of included them.
It's my past, my past work. And then lastly, well, nearly lastly is chatting. So under that is thinking out quietly, two recordings.
Jason's Healing Hypnosis, 16 recordings. Healing Words, nine recordings. Hypno Chats, 20 recordings.
Hypnotic Buffet, 31 recordings. And live from his bedroom, five recordings. I should put live from my bedroom really, shouldn't I? That's what it is.
And then lastly, so they're all free to download, free to stream, will be a pound each to download when I finally got it all sorted. Then lastly, the Stop Smoking. I've got Stop Smoking Sessions, five recordings, and the 28 Day Stop Smoking Course, five recordings, which will be a pound to download as well, free to stream.
And again, you click on that one, and there's an embedded player, which gives you all five episodes that you can just play for free. Or if you click on the banners below, it's got each one of the four day courses. Oh, I haven't included the other one.
Hmm. I need to do that. I need to make more scene changes that need to be made.
Always something needs to be done. Always something. Always something.
So that's it really. That's kind of the update on that. Just like to say thank you to the very first person to purchase a recording from the website, since I've just added the, you know, the prices per pound for each recording to download, was Boston Chicky.
So thank you, Boston Chicky. And your prize is nothing. There's no prize.
There is no prize. But thank you. And yeah, so there you go.
So it's, thank you. And they're all there. And I'm in the process of changing everything and, you know, making everything updated.
But you know what? I've been at it for hours and hours and hours. And I needed a break. And what better break than to make a recording? What better way to have a little rest.
So here I am. And the, and also mentioned yesterday that my, my podcast episodes, my recordings, when you listen to them, stream them, do have adverts again. But the only adverts are only at the very beginning, the very beginning of the recording, of each recording.
So that's, basically, where I'm going with this is I'm trying to cover the costs of running this service with the hope of creating my own employment, if that makes sense. So that's, the first thing is to cover the costs. Once I've covered the costs, and the costs will probably go up over the next year or so, because I'm going to be doing more things, adding, adding more services and things to the, to the website.
But once the costs are covered, then I can start looking at trying to earn a living doing this. So that's, that's, you know, that's where I'm going with this. So far, the last two days have been quite good.
Sunday night. This is Sunday, the 19th of January 2020. I have 3593 downloads.
Yesterday, Monday, the 20th of January 2020, 3345 downloads. And so far today 540 downloads. That's in the last couple of hours.
So yeah, I'm quite pleased with how it's going. It's, it's just progressing. And I like that.
Like, it's a nice feeling. And yeah, so just going to continue doing what I'm doing, and continue making new recordings. Hopefully, it's useful to people.
And a little bit of feedback might be useful, just in a sense of what would you like? You know, what would you like me to offer? Or to provide? Because in the past, I've had quite a few people ask me, if I could send them a CD of a recording. And I've always said, no, I don't want to. You can't make me, leave me alone.
Now in hindsight, that might be a little bit rude. I didn't say that. I just said no, I don't don't offer that service.
And although I have sold CDs in the past, but only briefly. And I ended up giving them away for free, the recordings, like everything else I ever do. So I'm thinking, thinking, thinking, thinking of possibly doing that, making that available for you, and whoever wants to receive a physical CD in the post, or wherever you are in the world.
However, it's gonna cost money to do that. It's gonna cost money for me to provide that service. It's gonna cost money to buy them.
I don't know. And also the postage and packing. So probably looking at 10 pounds or something per CD to cover postage packing, costs of getting the CDs made.
So yeah, so that's, I'm gonna look into it. I know with this digital age, and online, it's so much, it's just instant. And it's, you know, what I'm doing, isn't it? Downloads.
I suppose in a way, I embraced that first off, not myself, I was the first person to embrace it. But I embraced it. And wasn't so much because I was trying to make money out of it, because I never, never wanted to.
But I saw it as an opportunity to be able to reach more people, and allow people to download the recordings. Because you think about it, back in the early days, going back to maybe, let's say 2006, 2007, even streaming music or streaming an audio, like one of my audios that lasted for half an hour or something, the internet connections weren't always particularly good. Especially if you try to do it on your phone, I think we still had WAP on the phone, didn't have internet, like proper internet.
So the opportunity to actually download the file, an MP3 file or WAV file, depending on what you wanted to, you know, produce it in, and then to and people to be able to have it on their computer, or and then transfer onto their iPod MP3 player, made a lot more sense than trying to offer the streaming service, which is what I used to do. At one point, I actually had my laptop connected to the internet 24 hours a day, using it as an actual server. So that people could, I had all my all my recordings listed.
And they could just click on it. And it'd be like a like a computer menu, you just click on one recorded, and you just click download. And you just download it directly from my server.
And I had 1000s and 1000s of downloads doing it that way. It was just kind of weird. I mean, at that at that time, I had a lot of recordings that I've lost.
I've probably lost a good 500 recordings over the years. And due to just error due to computer break-in, not being able to retrieve stuff from the hard drive, or just negligence really on my part, not kind of backing things up. So yeah, I've lost a lot of recordings.
So there's, there might still be some out there somewhere that are completely missing. So so I quite like that. I quite liked it was almost like a torrent.
I don't know if you if you've ever been on a torrent site. They used to be very popular. And hugely popular.
About 10 years ago, really. And most of them seem to have got shut down or whatever. But you could share files, file sharing software.
And that's basically what I was doing. But with my stuff, but using my own computer as the sharer. So I was sharing directly with people.
And yeah, I mean, they, they weren't sharing anything with me, because they didn't have anything I wanted. It was basically I was just having that on my website, by embedding it in there. Those are the days where I used to make my own websites from code.
And, you know, HTML, putting it all together myself. It wasn't until about 2007, I think. I feel maybe I don't know, but I started using a thing called moon, moon fruit, website builder.
And then since then, I've used loads of website builders that you just do it online. And now, I know how to do WordPress and all that stuff. But now I just do it on a shop, like an online shop.
It's all professional. It's all safe, you know, it's one that is like a proper safe shop. So it's done under Shopify.
So everything's secure. And I don't touch any of the code. I don't, I can manipulate some of the code as far as the visual aspects of the site.
But I don't like to play around with stuff like that. So it's, you know, it's a very clean website. And it seems to work fine.
And as I said, it's secure. It's as secure as any, any shop you're going to have online. It's very secure.
And so that that pound you spend is securely stored. And I'm not even sure how does it work? Let's have a look. So if I wanted to buy yesterday's episode of Let Me Boy To Sleep, if I click on the page, so I can sort of stream it free, so it's one hour, eight minutes and eight seconds long.
I can listen to it on Apple podcasts, or Spotify podcasts, I can stream on Stitcher podcasts, Castbox podcasts, Spreaker podcasts, Overcast podcasts, Podbean podcasts, TuneIn Radio podcasts, Player FM podcasts, Luminary podcasts, Podtail podcasts, Acast podcasts, wow there's loads, Podbay podcasts, Owltail podcasts, MyTuner podcasts, Blueberry podcasts, Podchaser podcasts, Podparadise podcasts, and lastly Digital podcasts, Digital Podcast podcasts. So those are the, wow, so there's a link to each of those podcasts underneath on that page. So there's plenty to choose from that you can stream free.
Or if you want to download it, it's a pound, I just want to see what it looks like on, so I've added it and it says view cart. Doesn't it, it's not saying continue shopping. Also at the bottom it says you might also like, and it's got three recordings there.
So you can, it's basically at the top of the page, because you've got login, sign up, and then you've got a cart, a little sign, you know a cart sign with the name cart next to it, and one next to it, and then checkout. So if I click on cart, have a look, so I've got 300, yeah number 307, let me bore you to sleep. Oh it does say continue shopping, or checkout.
So I'm going to go to checkout. Also there's special instructions for seller, that you can sell, and then it asks you to sign in, to login, or sign up. So a good thing about this is, you've only got to give all those details once, not lots of details, but you can sign in, and if you sign up, it'll ask you for your details.
But if you sign in, just your email address and a password, and also if they've got your password, you can, just like any other shop online. And that's as far as I can go without actually paying for it. I don't want to pay for it.
Yeah, it should be the same process. Oh, it's the same process even for, is it the same process for free stuff? So look, I don't even know how my own website works. It's bad, isn't it? It's bad, blimey.
Right, one hour daily hypnosis. Let's have a look at this one. So if I click on that, number one, so I'm going to download that, add to cart, view cart, and then, so if I delete, remove, you get a choice to remove all the ones that you might have saved.
And so that's free. So if I click checkout, subtotal zero, zero, zero, I've still got a sign in or sign up, but that's, that's, that's okay. It's, but none of the recordings are going to be free to download anyway.
So I'll just remove that. So yeah, I'm quite pleased with it. And over time, it will, you know, it's going to grow in, growing length, not in length, not in girth, in growing quantity, quantity in product, yeah, growing products, like the amount of stuff that there is, is going to be more, it's going to be more stuff.
That's the technical term, stuff. Very stuffy. Let's have a little drink there.
So, so that's, that's the thing, just I just want to, because I'm thinking, do I need to take down Jason's and Jason Nealon's free hypnosis service logo at the top? It's not free, is it? But it is still free. It's just not free to download. It's free to stream on lots of different podcasts, hosts, you know, I mentioned earlier, as well as on the website.
But it's a pound to download each recording. Yeah. Now, if it goes, if it's successful, and I get enough people downloading stuff, then that'll be, that'll be all right with me.
I mean, I'll be fine and I'll keep everything else free. If it gets to a point where I'm just not getting, you know, the interest for downloads, rather, then I'll, I guess I'll have to sort of readdress the, the free aspect, maybe make less of the stuff free to stream or whatever. But I don't want to do that.
Because I love the fact that it's free. And to me, that's kind of the best part. And then, because the free stuff has got adverts on them, right at the beginning only, the downloads are advert free.
So you don't, you know, so I'm quite, I'm, I'm almost excited. Can you hear my voice? Really excited about this. And the funny, the funny thing about it is, even though like in the past, but a couple of people left comments on, you know, saying, I don't like the adverts.
Well, no one likes adverts. That's kind of the start. No one, I don't think anyone kind of, I'm never watching television and you know, the adverts come on and I suddenly get all, all like excited and on the edge of my seat, you know, quickly everyone come in, the adverts are started.
I'm not quite, you know, but if it wasn't for adverts, you wouldn't have any television other than, well, here we've got BBC, BBC two, BBC four, and the advert free. They're the only channels as far as I'm aware that are made by BBC. Every other channel has adverts.
Every other television channel has adverts. And on the radio, only BBC radio channels are advert free. Every, every other radio station has adverts.
And I only listen to the ones with adverts because they're my favorite channels. Like LBC radio is my favorite, like way above any other radio channel, radio station. That's the one I listen to.
And there are adverts on, and I don't mind the adverts. It's annoying sometimes. But I just put up with it.
And that's all the way through the show. Now the adverts are every, probably every 15 minutes, possibly. But that's, without the adverts, there wouldn't be a chat, there wouldn't be a station.
They wouldn't be able to do it. So that's why I've got the adverts on the free recordings, the stream. Because I need, and the reason I'm telling you this, I'm not going to tell everybody this stuff.
And I'm not going to mention this on my Deep Sleep Whisper podcast. You know, the reasons behind it, or the relaxation hypnosis, or stress, anxiety and panic, or the Sleep Hypnosis Weekly. Those, I'm not going to mention it on those podcasts.
And those ones are really, in some ways, possibly more popular than this one. But with this podcast, I know that and I kind of have contact with some of the people that listen to this, this podcast, I get sort of a few messages and stuff. So this feels, well, it is more personal, isn't it? Because I'm, I kind of open myself up to you.
That sounds wrong, doesn't it? I'm opening myself up to you, everyone look, no. You know what I mean, emotionally, I try and keep it light as much as I can. Occasionally, I'll mention a few things, but I generally try and keep it light.
Because it's, you know, this is not, it's not a therapy session for me. I just have to keep remembering. It's not a therapy session, Jason.
People don't need to know all that stuff. But I find, I find it quite interesting where people are coming from. How they've got to where they are.
Sometimes, you know, just, but that's probably the counselor in me is that kicks in sometimes. And although I do, I'm really good at talking about nothing. In a conversation, I don't really like talking about nothing.
So does that make sense? I'm really good at like, not really good, but I'm very able to just munch on and on and on about zero, you know, no, no, no content really just for an hour, I can do that. I've proved myself, I must, I must have proved myself surely. All these years, all these years of doing this, even you can say even years when it comes to the, this podcast, Let Me Boy To Sleep, because, right, 338 hours and 46 minutes.
I wonder why he's making a little movement, he's asleep, but he's moving around. I wonder what he's doing under there. I bet it, I hope it isn't what I think you're doing, Andre.
Your eyesight's bad enough as it is, stop that. So let's see when the first recording was. So at the beginning of this year, the 1st of January 2020, it was episode or recording 289 of 307.
Because I want to see what the beginning of 2019 was, what episode that was. Look at me now, he's so damn cute. He's got his head sticking out of my, not my underpants, my like sweatpants that I used to wear.
And he's yawning, a big yawn. He's moving his head from side to side. And he knows, and he's got both his little, little hands.
He's looking at me, got both his little hands, and he's leaning his head on them. I've got to pick him up, I do. I'll just press the pause button there for a second.
Now I've got him in my arms. Hello, beautiful. You all right? I took him down to my friends earlier.
And normally I keep him because him and his cousin, who's a little doggie, was a big doggie actually. He keeps biting the dog, which is not a good idea considering how big the dog is. And he's a lovely dog, but it's, you know.
Are you giving me kisses? I really should ask you, where's that tongue been? But I know where it's been. You know, sometimes, sometimes I wonder about whether he doesn't, whether I need to have a wash or something, need to wash my face because sometimes he'll lick me and then run over and start licking his bum to get rid of the taste. So I'm thinking, it's very rude.
It's very rude, Andre. You're a very rude boy. And I, so I kept hold of the dog.
The dog was on a settee, so I kind of kept hold of him. And my friend said, just let him, let him run around like Andre. So he did.
He had the time of his life running around, sniffing everything, exploring, and he was going like, yeah, the noise he makes when he's really having fun. There you go. Go away.
And yeah, so that was really cute. Very cute. Ever so cute.
So what was I going to look? And 2019, I started, so literally what I've done, I'm on my website. I've clicked on the Let Me Boy to Sleep link, which has 307 in brackets. Oh, excuse me.
And the embedded player has every single recording on there that you can play. It's pretty good, really. I don't know at what point it's going to say, nope, too many.
Because I think when I get to about a thousand, I might have to start breaking up the pages, you know, episodes, one to 400 and then episodes 401 to 800 or something like that. Because it might be a too much, but it seems to, yeah, it's bringing it all up. Listen to him, look, he's making a white noise.
Stop it, Andre. Right. So I'm still going down.
Come down with me. Let's all go down together. Honestly, he does that on purpose.
He's got the whole room and he finds something that he can walk on that makes noise. Such a naughty little boy. OK, so New Year's Day, so that'd be the first of January.
So it's number 71. So 71. See if you can work this out.
71 until 288. 71 288, which was the 28th of December, so that's the last one I did of 2019. 71 171 271 281 717.
It's 217 recordings I did last year. I think that's right, isn't it? 217. Just for these, let me put you to sleep.
Wow. Wow. And which means I did 60, I did 70, no, I did, yeah, I did 70 recordings in 2018.
But I did start quite early in the year. However, I didn't start putting down the dates until October, which is a bit weird. I don't know why.
Why is that? It don't make sense, does it? Which makes me think, makes me so angry. But let me have a look, because sometimes the, sometimes when I look at the actual files, they will tell me exactly, like I put in the properties, will tell me the exact date. So the first of September, you see it's saying number one, let me put you to sleep number one.
So that doesn't make sense. It is created the 19th of September 2019, which it wasn't. But then it said it's modified 20th of June, or 29th of June 2019.
So previous versions, no. So let's have a look at episode number two. Let's see if there's any information there.
No. Episode number seven. No, I think it's sometimes when I copy recordings and add them on, and like smooth them around, they, yeah, I can't find out the original dates.
Oh, details. Details. Oh, yeah, that's interesting.
So I have put in the comments, as I've actually edited the dates for some of them. So let me have a look at this details. So very first recording, it was, it was at the beginning, it was March.
It was the 27th of March 2018. So I actually put it into the details when I'm, when I edited it. I actually written recorded on the 27th of March 2018.
So recorded number two, details, recorded 28th of March 2018. Recorded number three, 29th of March 2019. So number 16 was recorded 16th of April.
Wow. So I could do well by changing those dates. I know for people to see what dates they were.
I forgot about the details bit. And number 29 was recorded into 23rd of June 2018. Recorded number 40 was the recorded the 5th of August 2018.
And then, you know, cool. Number 55 was recorded. Oh, no, I don't have a date for that.
That's not good. Oh, no, I don't need a date for it. It's actually got a date on it.
It's actually got a date next to it. So I started putting the dates next to them on here. On number episode number 46, which was the 14th of October.
But if I go to recording number 45, go back. And the details on that recorded the 11th of October. Wow.
So yes, the end of March 2018. So what's the end of January now? So two more months and it'll be two years I've been making these recordings. So how many have I done this year so far? Well, it's not that many, is it? Because it's only it's only what is it? The first one was 289.
289. Yeah, and now it's 308. I'll do this one.
289, 290, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 300, 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307, 308. So that'd be 19 recordings. So pretty much every day this year, I've made a recording apart from one day, which was the 3rd, 3rd of January 2020.
Didn't make a recording. Let me bore you to sleep recording. But I've done one every day so far apart from that.
So I've made 19. So we're looking over, you know, so I missed the odd day out here and there. We're looking at over 300 recordings just for this year.
Coming up when I get to the end of 2020. Wow, which means that'll be over 600, which means they're probably about 700 hours. 700 hours of me just saying nothing.
Can you imagine if you actually listened to everyone and took and recorded it? And we've not recorded it, but you listened to it and took notes and were able to take out stuff that's actually relevant. I reckon you could probably fill at least one page. Yeah, at least one page of stuff out of those 338 hours and 46 minutes so far.
And now it's another 52 minutes added on. So wow, this is over 339 hours. I don't know.
It might seem like I harp on a little bit about this, but I do. It's because I do really. But I'm just kind of amazed.
You know, when you start something from nothing, and don't really expect it to go anywhere, it's more kind of like an experiment. Not really sure, would anybody really want to listen to this? And not even having really practiced it on other people either. But just relying on what others had told me.
Because I did a little bit, I used to work in call centers, and kept getting told people saying they liked my voice. And so I thought maybe, maybe, maybe I'll listen to that. Maybe I'll sort of see whether or not this could work.
And I'm just really pleased that it has. I'm just, I'm just overwhelmed. So yeah, so a way of supporting my service is to download.
I'm also looking at other things I'm going to be doing. But now I'm going to do some shout outs. I know it's a little bit late in the recording.
And probably everybody's asleep by now. But that's okay. Doesn't really matter.
I've got a message here. So I've got a message from Okay. Okay.
That's interesting. So we'll look at. All right, wow.
So this is from Jody. Wow, I've got a couple of ideas for ads for Bernie Sanders, and emailed them to his campaign. I got a personal reply this morning thanking me.
And it says, my email has been forwarded to the team. I've been in shock all day. Yeah, good for you.
Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. That's my friend Jody. Hi, Jody.
So that's my first shout out. My second shout out is to David. Now David is the child of one of my listeners, but he's also one of the listeners.
Now, I can't I can't have a I can't communicate with a child online. It's in this country that's not allowed. Unless you would like it's your family or something like that.
So I'll say hello via the podcast. But I can't you know, they're very strict in this country about stuff like that. And it's probably a good thing.
But adults are not allowed to communicate with children. So Facebook is really was supposed to be that he's supposed to be 16. I don't know what the age is for Facebook.
But I'll still do a shout out. Hey, for David. I'll do another one for let me have a look.

Sherry. Hi, Sherry. Lori.
Hi, Lori. I'm going back years now. I've deleted lots of messages over the years, but I've kept a few.
One was from someone from a long time ago. That's from 2015. Yeah.
So who else is there? I've got a message on my Facebook page. What does it say? No, I won't read it. I'll read it first before I read it out.
What does it say? What does it say? Who's it from? Who's it from? What could it be? Who could it be? It's from, it's from Gayle. So what does it say? Oh, thanks for your shout out. I'm so happy to hear about your podcast plans to be earning a living doing what you love.
Best of luck to you. Congratulations. Thank you, Gayle.
That's very kind of you. And then there's Monica. There's Katie.

Shelly. Elisa or Elisa. Elisa.
Annabelle. April. Hello.
Karen. Hi, Karen. Megan.
Bin. Nanette. Pal.
Brad. Melanie. So some of the people that have contacted me on my other page as well.
So that's one of the messages. What's this? What's that one? Oh, that's from 2018. April.
Do you do online, private hypnosis sessions? Hi, I don't do that. I only make recordings. So that could be something else I could do.
Maybe do some kind of personalized recordings, which is a lot of work involved in that. That might sound weird, but there's... You know, to be talking for maybe half an hour, 40 minutes, specifically about a subject that's aimed at one person and their, you know, whatever their situation is. And then to go through the editing process.
Andre, will you leave that carrier bag alone? That is so annoying. So yeah, I don't know. Because it's part of me thinking, if I'm going to do a recording like that, I have to charge a fair bit of money in order to do it, because I'm going to have to, needs to be professional, as far as, you know, no background sounds really.
In my mind, I want it to be perfect sound. Which means, you know, finding a time of the day when I can do it, when there's no background sound. But I don't know if people would want to pay the amount of money that I'd have to sort of charge to do a personalized recording.
And I had done requests in the past. But that would be for everybody to listen to. But to do a personalized recording, and also to do like personal and one on one sessions online, again, I'd have to charge possibly more than people would want to pay.
Because what I do is to reach an audience like a worldwide audience of thousands to do a one on one recording or one on one session. That's just for one person. And no one else is ever going to benefit from that.
Apart from that one person. No one's ever going to listen to it. No one's ever going to hear it.
Oh, I wish that stupid little squirrel would shut up. Oh, I just grabbed him. Behave yourself.
Why are you being so naughty? He's got hiccups. He's got hiccups. Why have you got hiccups? Were you stuffing your food down too quickly? Is that what it was? You're giving yourself hiccups, little greedy little fella.
Munching down your food. Did you swallow it? Did you actually chew any of the food or you just like inhaled it? Were you eating it quickly before I got there and started eating your food? Does that happen? How often does that happen? Oh, you mean never? Never? Little monkey. I don't remember what life was like without him.
That's strange. I've had him for five years now, over five years, I think. Is it over five years or is it over four years? Nah, it's four years isn't it? I've had him for four years.
Over four years. It'll be fine because I lived here for five years in April. Because it was, yeah, it was April 2015 that I moved in here.
So that'll be five years. And I said, someone just add me. So let's see if this is another one of those.
Okay, a lot of people add me and they're not real people. They're just, oh yeah, straight away. Marley Kuchar.
Okay. And from what I can see, it looks like, I don't know, it looks like a famous actress actually. And it says, find my personal movies here.
Marley Kuchar, blah, blah, blah. Really? Did I not realize that that stuff's free online? You don't need to go to a site and give your credit card number and stuff like that. So what do I do? What do I do here? Okay, find support or report profiles.
Let's have a look, report that. Posting inappropriate things. Okay, send.
Posting inappropriate things. And other steps you can take. Block Marley.
Yes, block her as well. Done. And the reason I report these profiles, it's not because of me, but some people could be taken advantage of and believe it's a real person.
And believe that it's someone who's sending the messages saying, oh, I really like you. And, you know, all that stuff. And me, I don't want someone else to be tricked.
Especially someone that's vulnerable and looking for love and all that stuff. So yeah, I, that's what I do. So if I delete that request, what's a good thing that I haven't got to delete it really, because after about a day, the profile disappears.
Delete that request. Go away. You deleted your friend request.
So yeah. Right. So notification.
So this is from yesterday's recording. Rhianna Greer and Natalie Merkley. See, Natalie is my, she's my sharer.
You know, a lot of people, well, some people with mental health issues like myself, we've got carers. Well, I've got a sharer. And that's Natalie.
Rhianna's my carer. And she shares my, every post I do, she shares it. And I do actually have a competition going at the moment.
Which is, is whoever shares the most of my recordings that I post on Facebook. They share it on their own page or on a, you know, a page they run or group or whatever. Then it will be put into like a jumble rock, I don't know, you know, I'll pull a name out of a hat.
And then we'll win a flash disk drive with a flash disk, you know, USB thing. And it will have all of my recordings from the Let Me Boy To Sleep. So that'll be at the end of the month.
I've already ordered the drive. So that's already ordered. So that should come in the post tomorrow or whatever.
And on it, I shall put all recordings, which will be 307 plus another 10. So 317 recordings. And that will be quite a few hours worth.
So 300. So another 10 hours, 338, 348. So 350 hours.
You'll win 350 hours worth of me being boring. And all of those recordings, none of them will have adverts on them. They'll just be recording from start to finish.
And yeah, so you could I can bore you to sleep for 350 hours straight. Which is obviously not a good idea, is it? You need to eat, you need to go to the toilet at times. So one of the things we've got on here.
So that was just a little hello to people. A little shout out. And I know that in the past, if I ever get a shout out, like in a video and stuff like that, or something, it's actually really exciting.
It's something. And you know, I know that I didn't read everyone's surname out when I was doing the shout out, but you know who you are. You know, if you're, if you're regularly listening, and you like what I do, and you've left me messages lately, or in the last, you know, and I've read your name out, then that's going to be you.
I've sort of done it like a nice happy shout out for. And so yeah, shouty shouty. I don't know what that means.
What does shouty shouty mean? My nan used to do that. Not shouty shouty, but she used to. When we used to go near, when I'd go near the fireplace, and she'd say, and go near the fire guard, you know, she said, no, there wasn't actually a guard there, not a person, it was like a metal railing thing.
They didn't have the money to hire a full time fire guard, or part time even. But anyway, if I'd go near it, my nan would shout out, Bernie, Bernie. I said, that's not my name, it's Jason.
We laughed. And she said, no, Bernie, as in my Bernie, Bernie, Bernie, Bernie. So I'll keep away from that.
And one day I said to her, Nan, I'm 43. I don't need you to keep shouting that out. She said, Bernie, Bernie.
And then I realized that she did actually think that was my name. And I thought, you know what, I've never heard her say anything else but Bernie. Those were good times.
I'm not sure if it was snowing on that day. I don't remember. Or was that the day I ran out of toilet paper? Anyway, I'm going to bring this recording to an end.
I'm going to say goodbye for now. Take care of yourselves. And I'll see you again tomorrow.
Thank you for listening. Remember, remember to be kind to yourself. Because you deserve to be happy.
Lots of love. Bye.
