Hello, welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. This is Let Me Bore You to Sleep. That's my new thing.

I'm testing it out. Whenever a word ends with P, I'm just going to go, oh, that's going to be complicated. Anyway, thank you for listening.

And please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. Yeah, very windy outside at the moment. I've started off boring.

Oh, is it an English thing? Talking about the weather. I don't know if other countries do it, they might, it might not be an English thing at all, but it's such an English thing to just discuss the weather. I don't know what it is.

I've grown up to do it. It was, yeah, wow, who knows why. But the thing is, even though it's a really boring conversation, I enjoy talking about the weather.

And I think most people do. Possibly it's because in England, we have really weird weather. We don't have severe weather.

We have, sometimes we do, but not like, we don't have hurricane seasons, like parts of America, like Kansas, Wizard of Oz, places like that. We don't have, what do they have in India? You know, when it rains, just the rainy season, basically, but there's a name for it, isn't there? We don't have that, although we do have rain. We don't have a flood season, although we didn't used to, but we started to seem to be having the flood seasons as parts of the country, they get flooded and it's like, just, that's gotta be awful.

So we do have that a bit, but that's more to do with the rain. Well, obviously to do with the rain. It's not to do with the wind, is it? Probably not.

Not to do with cake making. Why would it be to do cake making? I don't know. I was just saying.

Okay. And I haven't actually, this is now bank holiday Monday. It's early hours in the morning in Italy.

It's, what is it? 17 minutes past one in the morning. How can you make a sleep recording when you don't even go to sleep yourself? Well, I actually do sleep. I just sleep during the day.

And this is the quiet time when I can actually make recordings. So if I lived somewhere, let's say I lived in, I had my own home, like a house, and I had, oh, that's my flip flops. And I had, you know, I was sort of detached, not mentally, but detached at a detached house.

I had no noise. I had no neighbors really close enough to affect me, like noise wise. Didn't live on a air path.

So there's no planes sort of constantly going over. Didn't live near a motorway or a railway line, all of which I do at the moment, but it's not that close. It's far enough to hear though.

So if you sometimes are fancy, like I think, oh, I would really do listening to some cars driving and I can, oh yeah, I can hear it. And what's the other thing? Yeah. So if I had a place like that and then a recording studio that was really, you know, quiet, but at the same time, I don't want to be sitting, you know, like the old fashioned, not old fashioned, they're probably just general recording studios where you've got the glass and you've got the studio, I don't know, recording people, the other side of the glass with all the knobs, playing with the knobs and controlling, I don't know what they do, but you know, technical stuff.

The other side of the glass, you've got the musician or the singer with the microphone and maybe you've got a band there as well, but you know, whatever, but that side of the glass doesn't look very comfortable to me. I'd quite like to have that, but in the format of this room, maybe not this room. I mean, if I had, you know, if I had the money to do something like that, I'd have a nicer chair.

I'd have a really groovy chair and recliner and I'd have a bigger telly. The telly is absolutely fine, but I would have a bigger one if I had money, but I probably, I think the one I've got at the moment is 36 inches, which by anyone's standards is quite impressive. Now about the I've got a 36 inch telly, so it's not big and as my eyesight unfortunately seems to be not as great as it used to be, let's say.

I probably will need a bigger telly anyway, especially if I'm watching something with subtitles. So I really do need about a 50 inch. I don't need it for watching TV and such.

Hello, baby boy. Oh, I think he was actually on my chair looking for me. Didn't realise I was over here.

Did you? You know, it just is something you don't know about him, about Andre. When I go to the toilet, oh great, Jason's talking about going to the toilet. Only took him six minutes.

No, I, not to actually go to the toilet, I went to the toilet. When I do, if it's just a wee, I'm standing up because, you know, I'm male. Although not everyone stands up, but I just do myself.

And I suppose, you know, sometimes you can treat yourself to a nice little luxurious wee by, you know, sitting down, but well, it's sometimes when I'm not quite sure what's going to happen. So I just sit down anyway, just, you know, ride it out. And I, here's something that happens.

It doesn't happen every day. It probably happens maybe once a week. I'll get up, I go into the toilet to have a wee.

Andre follows me. In fact, it happens probably once a day. He does a wee on the floor in the bathroom.

He likes to go to the toilet at the same time that I go to the toilet. How, I don't know, is that weird? He follows me into the bathroom and I'm standing there, you know, obviously trying not to get me really wet. And I'm just, I'm just, just, you know, and Andre is there crouching out, looking at me, crouching down, doing a wee.

Now about once a month, once a week, he'll do a poo as well. Now I don't realize, I realize this might sound a bit of a strange thing to talk about in a sleep recording. And I should also perhaps point out, when I come back for cuddles, I should also point out to those that haven't listened before that Andre is a ferret.

Just in case you think I've got a weird, I don't know, some weird parenting skills. Hello baby boy. Oh, you want to go again? Okay, we'll go away then.

I don't care. So I, yeah, that's one of the things he does. I haven't actually seen a human being or I've not spoken to a person or not even six foot away, not even been in the same area as another human being since Thursday when I went to the garage to get some food.

And it's really warm in here now. The heating's on, but it's cold so I had to turn the heating on. But now it's too hot.

Now Andre's eating his dinner and my stomach's rumbling. This sounds like very familiar territory. I would open the window, but you never know if someone's going to... Should I open the window and let you hear the wind? Yeah, why not? Just press pause and I've just gone and opened the window so you can hear the wind.

You can hear the wind through the window. But isn't the window supposed to stop the wind, isn't it? That's called a window. So yeah, I've not seen anyone.

So that was kind of, I don't know, not strange. I don't usually go that many days without seeing at least one person, like a neighbour or something like that. If that'll close the window.

So I just realised if the window's open, someone might think that I'm available for visitors. It's me going about. No one's visited me.

But I'm making a recording. I don't want someone knocking on the door when I'm doing a recording now or any other time. So I've made a few changes, some quite groovy things on my website.

You know, always trying to make changes and add and develop and create and improve. Wasn't able to do any of that. So here's what I did.

You can now download my podcast. I've got a bulk, bulk downloads that are on offer. They're available rather for the three of the main podcasts.

This one, Deep Sleep Whisper and Relaxation for Stress. So there's, they're available in bulk, bulk mp3 downloads of 50 per download. And it's free.

It's free. So if you go to my website, at the top, there's basically three pictures, three images, one for the Let Me Boy The Sleep and the other two as well. Click on that, it takes you to a page.

It just lets you know what you know, it gives you the numbers 1 to 50, 51 to 100, 101 to 150, 151 to 200, 201 to 250, 251 to 300, 351, 301 to 350. That's for the Let Me Boy The Sleep. Because there's so damn many loads.

It gives you the size of the of the download is in zip form file. And it tells you how long, how many hours each download lasts for. You know, the whole thing will actually let you know what it is.

Let me have a look. Let me see. So go to my website.

So if you go to the, you know, jasonnewland.com, there's at the top, there's the image, like the basic top image at the top, at the top, the top image, then down from that, there's bulk downloads. So you've got the Let Me Boy The Sleep, you know, the bore, the sleep and the stress, those three podcasts. So you click on the first one.

Slurpee, click, click. Each zip file contains each zip file download contains 50 recordings. So there are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 downloads available for the Let Me Boy The Sleep, 50 recordings each.

1 to 50 is 2.51 gigabytes and duration of 45 hours, 49 minutes and 22 seconds. So you can download that for free. The next one is number 51 to 100, 3.80 gigabytes.

And that is 55 hours, 38 minutes and three seconds. A bit specific, isn't it? And the next one, episodes 101 to 150, 3.12 gigabytes, duration 57 hours, 39 minutes, 36 seconds. And then you've got number, by the way, I couldn't fit all of this onto one file.

Otherwise, I would have done it. It's just too big. The Shopify just wouldn't allow it.

It's way too big. Plus, it's a lot to download in one go. But I've just realized something.

I think there's a mistake made. I have to check that. Apparently, 151 to 200 is exactly the same.

So that's an error on my part. I have to check that one out. And it doesn't really make any difference.

It's still the amount. I just ordered 50, 151 to 200. It's just the image is wrong.

And number 201 to 250 is 3.02 gigabytes. Oh, I've done it again here. Well, it's because I changed the images.

I think I just forgot to change the durations. Oh, I can do that though. It's easy enough to do.

It's not always going to take ages. Duration 5620. There's no point in doing the duration on these ones because they're wrong.

But as you see, there's quite a lot. The I think I did it correctly with the next ones. Because once I've done it with the let me boy to sleep, I changed the images and with the next lot and it's a little bit easier.

So you've got DeepSleep, Whisper, Hypnosis, Bulk, Downloads. 1 to 50 is 1.07 gigabytes, which isn't really a lot actually. Duration 19 hours 35 minutes 29 seconds.

Number 51 to 100 is 0.98 gigabytes. Duration 18 hours 17 minutes 31 seconds. It's a lot, isn't it? It's a lot of hours.

And number 101 to 150 922 megabytes. See, I tried to figure out how could this be less than the other ones. But you know gigabytes, but it is so I don't know how.

Duration 18 hours, four minutes and 35 seconds. And lastly, sleep 151 to 200 0.98 gigabytes. That's 980 megabytes actually.

Duration 18 hours 18 minutes 52 seconds. So I don't know how many hours that is all together, but it's quite a lot of hours. And let me see if I can work it out.

Please don't. I can't help it. I have to.

Oh, please. No, I can't be bothered. Unless, ah, unless, let me have a look.

It should show it on here. Let me bore you to sleep. Because I've got the continuous ads, haven't I? The continuous without ads.

So all 374 recordings are on there. And this playlist is free from adverts and will play continuously. That's on the menu of my website.

So the bore you to sleep one is a 420 hours, 23 minutes. How ridiculous. So too long, isn't it? The deep sleep whisper playlist continues playing no ads is 78 hours and one minute.

The relaxation, hypnosis for stress. Again, the playlist continues, continues with no ads. 83 hours and 32 minutes.

Wow. That is quite a lot. I don't mean in an impressive way, just in a kind of wasteful way.

What a way to waste your time. Hopefully not. But I'll tell you something.

I don't mean this in a, yeah, I do mean it in a not bragging way, but in a quite mildly pleased way. The, I did a session recording last night. It's 100, number 117 relaxation, hypnosis for stress, anxiety and panic attacks.

Relaxed hands equals relaxed brain. It's 29 minutes long. It's good.

I think it's actually good. And the one I did before that the day before, which was number 116, stronger immune system relaxation. 35 minutes long.

I think it's good. I'm not, I suppose I'm not going just by what other people, I don't get a huge response, you know, like feedback as such. Although if you'd like to, you can.

On my website, there's a, you get the feeling I want you to go to my website. There's no adverts on my website as though it's just, that's where everything is. For the relaxation, hypnosis, stress and anxiety, 136,927 downloads so far on that one.

For those that, I know there's a lot of people that love to hear about the stats. But it's going good at the moment. And if I make a recording, like yesterday, I got 1067 downloads, day before 1050, day before that 752, day before that 1095.

And day before that 666, day before that 924. So it's quite good statistics actually. Bearing in mind, 67, bearing in mind, I didn't do anything for a week on here.

So from the 31st of March, I did one called It's Being Emotional. And then I didn't do anything to the 7th. So the 31st of March, I was still getting a couple of low days, one 446, but 912, 722, 566, 600 or whatever on days I didn't produce anything then.

I don't know. And then all my babies, all these podcasts are my babies. And I know people like to say I love all my children the same.

You don't. You have favourites. You have favourites.

Come on. No, of course you don't. You love them all the same.

Yep. And I see my babies are, I suppose the website or Andre above everything. He's my little boy.

And I know the website's gonna, it's gonna outlive him, unfortunately. But, you know, he's, I think I've took enough pictures and included in enough videos and enough recordings that he will, he'll be remembered. He'll be remembered as long as I'm remembered, or maybe remembered longer than I'm remembered.

I don't know if I'm remembered at all. But he will, he's kind of connected to me, isn't he? Andre, Andre Dooley-Muland, the ferret, the cutest little boy, cutest little ferret. I'm not going to say in the whole world because they're all damn cute.

You know, if you if you had a ferret there, I'd want to hug and kiss that ferret. And they're all really beautiful. But you know, I, my favorite is him because he's my boy.

But you know, I had a neighbor that lived across the park. And he had an albino, like white ferret. And he got him probably not long after I got him.

And I saw him, I think it was last summer. And I said, Oh, please, let me give him a hug. I've got to give him a cuddle.

And I said, you can cuddle this one if you want. I'll just let him run off. I don't care.

I just need to give him, oh, please, let me give him a cuddle. And he's so cute and so gentle. He wasn't wiggling about or anything.

So yeah, and he's bigger as well, because Andre is sort of mixed polecat ferret. He's not, he's sort of, I don't know, maybe not half half, but he's a mixed race, basically. And mixed breed, mixed race, whatever you want to call it.

Because ferrets are bigger. Especially sort of ones that are sort of raised in captivity, and then raised in captivity, and then, you know, they get bigger. Because they don't have any, they just get to eat.

They're safe. No predators. You know, I don't think the percentage of ferrets that actually get taken out for a walk on a lead is probably quite low.

I say that just because I've never seen anyone in my life do it, other than on television. But I know people do. And it's just, I haven't seen any, but I've seen, you know, hundreds and thousands of people with dogs over the years.

I've lived with a few dogs over the years. The first one was, what was her name? Not Trudy. Misty, Misty.

It was St Bernard. St Bernard. It's not Bernard, it's St Bernard.

St Bernard. Actually, St Bernard sounds nicer. So anyway, I have no idea what I'm talking about.

So I'm quite pleased with how it's gone with this, this one. And I know I don't, I might get, I get inundated with messages from people saying, can you please tell us more about your stats? And possibly put on a, we like it when you're doing it with a lisp, and possibly whistle, what I just did then, whistle when you talk as well. And if you can, icing on the cake.

Do you mean cherry? Icing cherry, whatever. Can you yawn? If you can do all those things at the same time, I will be forever grateful. Okay.

Okay. Now, further and the stats. So I'm going to give a quick overview of the stats.

I'm talking quick, so don't worry, I'm not going to go into detail because I'm not, I know it's not everyone's, you know, don't want anyone to get bored, do I? Oh, wait a minute. Yes, I do. It's a little weird, not weird, but how fussy people are about what they get bored by.

I don't want to be bored by listening to you talking about stats. It's okay if you talk about Andre, it's okay if you talk about things that happened at school, but I will not be bored by stats. No.

Okay. But if you loved me, I will love you again when you stop talking about stats. I rarely talk about stats.

As you, if anyone listens regularly, it really happens really, really, really rarely. So 1,044,600 total downloads so far on these podcasts. The top one is hypnosis for sleeping deeply 205,332.

And the second one is sleep insomnia hypnosis at 197,299. Thirdly will be deep sleep whisper, I'm guessing. Deep sleep whisper, deep sleep whisper, 164,400, no, 168,438.

Then the, wow, can you believe that relaxation for stress and anxiety has overtaken this podcast? Can you believe it? It was only a little while ago, it was about 70,000. Now it's 136,927. Relaxation hypnosis for stress and anxiety.

Next to that is this one. Let me bore you to sleep. 125,635.

Although I know that some people will be listening to this recording on the sleep insomnia hypnosis podcast, or the hypnosis for sleeping deeply. So, you know, I'm aware I'm getting a lot more than what shows on there. I think lastly, oh, excuse me, gas.

Lastly is the sleep hypnosis weekly at 56,000. Oh, more gas, 857. Dear Jason.

Now, I want to thank you for reading out your stats. I'd like to thank you for yawning because that is what I asked you to do, for the lisp and for the whistles, the occasional whistles. It's very nice.

But can you please stop belching? I do not like the sound of gas leaving your esophagus. I'm happy with everything else you do, but please can you stop doing that? I can see, no, I'm going to do what I want. I'm going to do what I want.

Ah, so I'm due to do another sleep hypnosis weekly. So it's tomorrow. I did one on the 7th.

So I'll do one on tomorrow. Yeah. Although technically, I could do one today.

Because there was a big gap between the one before that. But it's okay. And also I do two recordings once a week.

I do two recordings, one without music, one with music. Because I do actually listen to what people tell me. So when when you contact me on my website, or send me a message on Facebook or whatever, or directly to my email address, which is jasonluland at hotmail.co.uk, I do listen.

And I don't necessarily always agree. And I'm not necessarily going to do what you ask. But if I can, and if it helps, I'll do try to.

I'm not, you know, I'm not an illegal. I may look like one. But I'm not one.

I'm here to help. So I do, you know, there's been, I've not been able to make a recording for everyone that says I'd like a recording for this or that. And I sort of used to have to reply saying, Can you be more specific.

But I've done quite a few request requests, requests, requests, requests, you know, requests over the years. And let me tell you about some of them. I have done a few going back many, many years ago.

So the first one I got here, become free from guilt with hypnosis. That was a request. And hypnosis of binge eating and drinking.

That was a request. I couldn't tell you when they were years ago. Love your body with hypnosis.

That was a request. Healing emotional pain. I'm just going to say the following ones are requests.

Rather than to keep saying that was a request or what was a request. Healing emotional pain. And these are all in my self help.

What is it self help and self development hypnosis podcast. So there's 120 episodes on there. But if you go to the beginning, there's lots of love requests.

I've got hypnosis for fear of nausea, or feeling nausea or vomiting. So these are ones that people have actually contacted me saying, can you please do a recording on this subject. I did one, this is for Brooke, I did healing your elbow with hypnosis.

Did another one, self love, forgiveness and safety. That was in 2017. In fact, I put brackets 2017 in there.

So I'm guessing I probably did another one with the same title previously. Another request I had was eat more slowly with hypnosis. Is be kind and gentle to yourself.

Get in touch with feeling safe. That's over an hour that is that one. That was 2017.

Don't allow other people's words to hurt you. And then there's change negative internal dialogue. That was one.

These are all like 30, 40, 50 minutes long. 50, 50, that's 49, 15. That was that was one.

Become more confident with hypnosis. And that was over an hour. You deserve to feel safe.

Hypnosis from abuse, that was 31, 40, yeah, 31 minutes long. Can you trust someone who's cheated on you? Okay. And that was, I've got no idea what I'll talk about in that one.

It's quite a short one and it just says, nope. Take care of yourselves. Bye.

I haven't had a huge amount of, well, I've had a few kind of responses for these recordings from the people I made them for. One such person is I didn't hear it until I think seven years later. And I won't say her name.

But she she told me it was on a live Facebook stream. She spoke to me. She just typed it in and said, Thank you so much for that recording that I asked you to do.

And it really helped. And it's called no more cutting. And that was 40 minutes long.

So some of this, I mean, although I mess around and joke around and do some kind of, put a bit quirky, maybe sometimes, but I do also do some serious stuff, which is that's definitely one of the more serious recordings, or the subject matter. Another one, and hypnosis for self esteem and confidence. Stop caring what others think.

Overcoming creativity block. Here's one, stop calling yourself ugly. And that's 42 minutes long.

If nothing else, they're great titles, aren't they? I might not be good at anything else, but I think I can come up with quite a nice, a nice title for a recording. This one was requested. And this actually, this next one was quite popular on YouTube.

When I first released it, got a lot of positive feedback, I think, if I remember right. Hypnosis for tinnitus. And then there's, gentle hypnosis session for self acceptance, 2017.

That wasn't a request. So I moved away from the request. I mean, there might be others.

Oh, no, there is others. Hypnosis for OCD. That was a request.

If there's any other requests. Let me have a look. See, there's some hidden gems.

That I think, they're hidden. I'm not purposely hidden them. But they're, they're good.

They're good recordings, good content. Admittedly, some of the older recordings aren't great sounding due to the equipment or maybe background noise, sound, various things like that. But that's more probably pre 2010.

I think after 2010, the quality of the recordings, I think, got a bit better. Because I was continuously buying equipment, trying to get good sound quality. And it was not always very easy.

You know, but I've spent 1000s of pounds on sound equipment over the years, microphones, recording equipment, and digital recorders. I've even got a that's not in it, it's in the storage room. And a, like a mini recording studio thing.

But then you get the new technology, smartphones and tablets, actually do better quality. They have a better quality sound. Then I'm not not not the professional equipment, obviously, recording studios, but some of the stuff that I've got, can't even match.

Or if it can, it's set up loads of stuff cables, Andre is going to be knocking stuff over. And, you know, it's so much easier now than it used to be. Which gives me time to just make the recording, you know, time to put effort.

I say effort. I'm using that word very, very lightly. But you know, put some put more time into producing a recording rather than setting up to produce a recording.

Because if I had to spend 20 minutes getting ready to do this, by the time I actually sit down to do it, I might not want to do it. And then I have to put everything away afterwards. And you know, it's very time consuming.

And I just I feel it gets a bit in the way of my just any off chance that some creativity pops up. I don't want to get in the way of it. Okay.

So there's a few recordings in the self development, self help and self development hypnosis podcast. Feel safe in mother nature's arms. That's a good record.

I remember that one. Okay, and that's probably seven years ago, probably I made that. Transform fear into safety.

So the feel safe in mother nature's arms is 39 minutes long. Just looking at so yeah, there's lots like so what you say to yourself affects your life. I've also got some, I've got two stop nail biting recordings.

They're both very similar. But one was I think 2012 and one was 2017. I'm not sure which one is the best.

But I know that one of them helped has helped people to stop biting their nails because they told me people told me that. Another one, self help and self development, 45 minutes long, be kind to yourself. And other stuff.

So strengthen your immune system with hypnosis, change your life with hypnosis, things like that. Here's one. And this is, again, it's something that you wouldn't normally find, I don't think.

And it's a bit random and sort of hidden. Not like massively that bothered, but some of my good stuff is on there and hidden, hidden, hidden, it is hidden. So I don't I don't get huge numbers on there.

Sometimes it's quite low. It could be 30, 40, 50, sometimes 131, 51, 114, 161 two days ago. But yesterday was 81.

So it's it's not worth knowing what it's not worth knowing really. It's constantly, constantly, constantly changing. But the other what I have done is I've noticed that more people start to listen to the the advert, the ones with no, the podcasts are on my website, which have continuous play, but no ads.

So deep sleep, whisper hypnosis, no ads. So 29 plays on there, according to this or downloads. Let Me Buoy to Sleep, 23.

Relaxation for Six, 62. Relaxation for Six, Relaxation for Stress, 62. And Sleep Hypnosis Weekly, 42.

So again, the Relaxation for Stress and Anxiety is hidden. I think that's going to be the most popular podcast. The Let Me Buoy to Sleep podcast, even though the sessions I will never podcast.

But I do. I love them all equally. I love this one more.

I love them all less than this. I don't know. I love this one more than them.

I love all of them. I suppose because I've done so many of these recordings, I mean, way too many. Way, way, way too many of these.

374. So this is number 375. And I've changed the images, which I probably didn't need to do.

I spent ages doing that today. And I don't know. There's something about, I suppose my next target would be, well, possibly to reach the 500 for this podcast to, I'd like to have all of the main podcast over 200,000.

That's sort of the next kind of target, really, I guess. And then 2 million on the, but it doesn't really seem any point marking the total amount until I get to 2 million now, now that I've reached the one. I don't think, because I was doing it every 100,000 and then the 100,000s were going through so quickly.

So maybe I won't bother. I'll just do the sort of in October or whenever, October, November, when I reach the 2 million, I'll have a little party. I don't mean in my pants.

I mean, I'd say party and maybe do a Facebook live stream or I might actually have an actual party. I mean, I'd like to get the 2 million before my birthday, but my birthday was April, May, June, July, August. It's four months and two weeks away.

Not going to get to the 2 million by then, unless everything doubles. If I go from getting just over 100,000 a month downloads to 200,000, even then I wouldn't, two, four, six, eight. Yeah, if it doubled, if it's completely doubled, I could reach a 2 million, but I'll do it by the end of the year.

But the stress, the relaxation for stress is just shooting ahead, not in total downloads, but in, not daily even, because some of the others are a bit higher, but it is pushing ahead. So I can see it's going to be, it's taking off. Well, it's beyond taking off.

It's getting more and more. And so, yeah. And I suppose that's my baby as well, because I do talk about my own experiences and as far as with stress and anxiety and all that stuff.

But also I've got a lot of experience making relaxation recordings, many, many years of doing that. And it was pretty much the very first thing I ever learned when I started studying hypnosis. The very first course I ever did on NLP or hypnosis was how to relax somebody with a script, you know, holding a piece of paper and counting them down and all that stuff, you know.

And I, you know, I saw a lot of experience of doing that, not in person, although I've done it with, I've done a few, quite a few sessions with people, but not for a long time. But yeah, and hundreds of recordings for relaxation. And I hope it shows a bit in some of the stuff that I do now, but maybe not.

The deep sleep whisper ones, so they've got their own audience. It's got its own audience. And it's a, there's a loyalty as well to that podcast, which doesn't surprise me.

But because it's 168,000, so it's nearly to the 200,000. And yesterday I had 573 downloads, 712 the day before. So it kind of averages out about probably, like I can tell you, I can go back in the months.

I thought you weren't going to talk about your stats all the way through the recording. Not really am I, I'm just sort of discussing stats have gone down this year, but that's because I've made less recordings. So January I had 16,651 downloads, 15,503 in February, March 13,841.

Now that's 6,213 so far this month, but I've not been doing them as often. And also compared to December, I was getting 8,593 a month. So, you know, to 16,651 in January, so it's gone up a lot.

But yeah, I just, I'm trying to do one every day. But the thing is with Andre, I have to sneak out of the living room, literally sneak out really quietly, which I suppose, if you were to use words like sneak out, you don't need to really use the word quietly. I'll sneak down really loudly, banging cymbals together, playing the trumpet.

And I close the door, I close the kitchen door, I close the bedroom door, make sure the windows are closed, go into the shed in the bedroom. And then it's quite warm in there as well. And I start the recording.

And I can't hear much as far as outside. If it's windy, I can't really hear it. Even the birds are sort of very, very faint.

But Andre scratching at the door in the living room is very noticeable. And once he starts, he just, he won't stop. It just keeps, keeps going.

So I then have to get up, go in, I press pause, go into the living room, catch him with a butterfly net. Okay, now I'll just pick him up and put him into the cupboard in the bathroom. I have to pull stuff out of the cupboard first.

And it's full of carrier bags and he likes carrier bags so he can just go to sleep on them. I'll put him in there just for the duration of the recording, you know, just like 15, 20 minutes. And then I'll close the door, close the bathroom door.

And I can still hear him scratching. But it's less, you know, it's less sound. No more enjoyable, but it is less.

And I just don't know what to do with him. Just, I don't need that much time for him to be quiet. Just a couple of hours or like maybe 20 minutes, 20 minutes or so for the deep sleep whisper.

And then 30 minutes plus for the relaxation session. And if I'm doing the relaxation session and I'm stressed and I'm talking, just talking about a subject, I can do that in the living room, providing he keeps quiet. Because if I'm in here, he seems to be quiet.

I'm okay with that. Sometimes it's as if he wants to be in the same room as me. So if I'm in bed, he'll climb up because he wants to lay in bed with me.

If I go to the toilet, he follows me into the bathroom. If I go into the kitchen, sometimes he'll follow me into the kitchen. I don't know how he does it, but he made scrambled egg the other day.

I mean, how did he reach? How did he get into the fridge? I don't know. But yeah, I've got a real urge for pancakes. I showed Tuesday, it was in, I think it was February, pancake day.

Valentine's Day has gone past and Easter's now gone. Bank holiday's gone. So there's nothing else for April.

My dad's birthday, my friend's birthday, both on the same day. And then, so I'll get them presents on Wednesday and buy that, order that on Amazon. And then, yeah, I don't think there's anything else.

I've got an appointment with a psychologist later on this month, but I'm pretty, pretty certain it's going to be a telephone call rather than a meeting because, well, I'm not going there to meet. It just seems pointless, all this isolation and then going out. So I'm going to sort of try and keep, you know, I'm literally eating less than I think I've ever eaten.

My dinner was one egg and I was going to say roasted. Can you get roasted eggs? And boiled, steamed, I don't know whatever you want to call it, put into a saucepan with hot boiling water, but you know, without the shell, without its little house, without its little bottom house and had that on one piece of toast. That was my, that was my dinner.

And I might have a bit of toast with some marmalade on later before I go to bed. So maybe in about four, four hours time, five hours. So I'm actually making food last.

I'm doing really, I've not bought any Cokes, any cans of Coke that is. Not bought any, not since Thursday. No, not since Wednesday, I think it was.

Or maybe it was Thursday, I don't know. But I bought some bottles of Coke, four small bottles. They're the 500 ml, ml, milliliters or mini, mini liters.

It's 500 ml, is that half a liter? Well, aren't I a clever boy? If it is, well, anyway, I bought four of those. And I've been drinking, drinking out of the bottles until they get cold, until they're no longer cold, put it back into the fridge and put another one out. And I did that.

And now they're pretty much all flat, pretty much. But they've still got sugar and caffeine. I shake, I shake the bottle up.

So that's a little bit of fizz. I've literally, I've made, it's not totally true, I had four cans of Coke on Thursday. But Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I've made four small bottles of Coke last me for those three days.

And there's still enough there to last me till tomorrow, through today rather. Because whenever it gets a bit, I don't drink it. When it's in the bottle, it's not enjoyable.

But a can of Coke is enjoyable. It's fizzy. It's cold, it's really fizzy.

And it, you know, it does, does something different to me. Out of a bottle. It's just boring.

It's alright when it's very first, and I'm talking a bottle of a plastic bottle, not a, not a metal, not metal bottle. Not one made out of stinging nettles. What's the other one? Glass.

Not a glass bottle, because you can still buy them, I think, somewhere. You need a time machine. But you can, I think you can still buy bottles of Coke in glass.

But I get the ones in plastic. And I don't normally buy bottles of Coke. Unless, maybe if I'm out.

And I'm, you know, it's a warm day or something, and I'm, I don't know, I'm out, I'm doing something. And I'll, if I, if I've forgotten to bring a bottle of water with me, which would always pretty much be my preference, a bottle of water, small bottle of water. And carrying those big, sort of five litre bottles, big, that's too big.

Big, too big to carry around. Unless you've got, I suppose if it has wheels. But even then, like you carry around some kind of weird see-through vacuum cleaner.

So I just, or fish pond, without the fish. Unless, of course, there are fish in it. And I just, I'll get a little bottle of Coke, and I generally don't even drink the whole thing.

Then I get home and I just leave it on the side in the kitchen. I don't always leave it on the side of the kitchen. Sometimes I will put it in the fridge.

Sometimes I'll forget about it and just leave it in the carrier bag for, you know, one that I was carrying around originally. But not always. I mean, it does depend.

I can't, I can't guarantee that's true. But the, I'm not signing any contracts to, because, you know, nothing I say is really true. It might be true, it might not be.

I mean, I can't remember. So I've done quite well with the old Coca-Cola. And I'm winding that stuff down now.

Winding down. It's just, I suppose, for health reasons and just starting to think, well, you know what? This may, this may drag on a bit. So I'm kind of thinking, I need, you know, ideally, if I can get to a position where I'm not dependent upon things like cans of Coke, because I was a little bit, it was like my, my little guilty pleasure really, I suppose.

Not that I should feel guilty about it, but it was a pleasure. And just like eating tea cakes, but I haven't had a tea cake for well over a week. I almost kind of don't care anymore about tea cakes.

And that was my daily ritual. Tea cake, can of Coke, and something that I wanted to watch on telly. Like Minder, for example, that was one of the programs I like to watch in the afternoon.

Now, no tea cakes, because I don't go to, I haven't been, the last time I went to Iceland was last, wow, two weeks ago, two weeks ago, yesterday. That's the last time I got on a bus. Two weeks ago.

It's not the last time I went out, because I've gone to the garage Thursday. Last Thursday, I went to the garage a few times just to buy food, got some Cokes from there as well. Toilet paper and other stuff to eat.

And I just started to slow down my intake, and just to try and make things last. So I'm sort of looking in the freezer, like, okay, I wonder if I can get another few weeks out of this. I'm not talking about eating the freezer, I'm talking about the contents.

And even in the like, got chocolate bars, I had one chocolate bar really, in the fridge, because my stepmother said, have you had any chocolate? And I said, how did you get in here? This was a text, and she said, what are you doing in my fridge? She said, I, I said, no, no, I haven't. I wasn't, I haven't, not today. Because when I was a kid, we used to have chocolate before dinner, before lunch.

Easter day, Easter was groovy, actually, when I was like little, not little, little, but when I was seven onwards to about 15 or 14. Easter was great. And yeah, a really, really good day.

And also, we used to get to drink wine as well, which is nice. And pomaine. And the, and because my mum, she was such a brilliant cook.

I'll tell you one thing my dad has done. I don't know about the original mother, because I can't remember, but the last two mothers, he's, the last two mothers, you know, the last two stepmoms or whatever, he brilliant cooks, both of them are absolutely amazing. And so he's been very fortunate.

And so have I, I guess, for having food, because I love free food. It's very wonderful. But we used to, I used to bake with my mum, because I figured out that if I offered to help her in the kitchen, to do the baking and cooking, I wouldn't have to go into the garden with my brothers and do all that stuff.

So I used to be, it'd be like cold outside and both my older brothers would dig in the garden looking miserable, rightly so, that they were looking miserable, because it was horrible. And I'd be looking, I'd be in the warmth, looking out at them, laughing, maybe not so they could see, but yeah, but hiding and laughing. And I'd pretend to be interested in cooking and baking, because I didn't have to dig the garden in.

Very crafty. My only interest ever in baking is eating. I loved, I even liked the cake before it was even cooked, just the mix, where I just stick my head in and lovely, just licking that thing, loved licking the bowl out.

Of course, sometimes I'd have to do it with a spoon, because I'd just get it all over my face, I'd get it all over my hair. I remember my mum said one day, how the hell, how did you get it all over your feet? I said, you don't want to know, you really don't want to know. I used to love it.

Rock cakes, fairy cakes, what other things, jam tart, like big tarts, because there's a lot of us, so I used to sort of make big cakes as well. Sponges. She used to do this one thing, which was, well, I did lots of things, but two of my favourite ever, I mean ever, and I've not had them since, was, they were made out of rice krispies.

So there was, and I know rice crispy cakes aren't a new thing, but we're talking 30 odd years ago, and they probably weren't a new thing then either, because rice krispies have been out, they've been around as long as, I don't know how long, as long as cardboard, maybe. But she made these, she made the best, and I did actually travel the world testing every other single cake that was made from rice krispies. My ones were the best, all my stepmums were the best.

So she had the ones that were strips, she just cut strips, they were, well, they were done in a baking tray and she just cut them up, and they were lovely, and they were done with, I can't remember, but they were wonderful, beautiful, beautiful things. And then she did these other ones that were round, but they were done with, I guess, sort of toffee. They were hard, and I wouldn't be able to get away with eating them now, because I've got a feeling that would just, it would just jump out of my mouth just looking at it.

But they were beautiful, and they were hard, and it was toffee, but real proper, not sweet toffee, almost, I don't know how to explain it, it was phenomenal. I mean, I reckon, if I met a woman like her, like to sort of live with or marry or whatever, I would, and if she was making cakes like that, first of all, I'd be happy, because I'd have all them cakes to eat, but I'd be huge, I'd put a lot of weight on. I mean, I'm not little now, so I'd probably be, I'd probably, yeah, I'd probably be like 20 plus stone.

I'd be, especially if I wasn't doing any exercise, I'd be eating a lot of cakes. It wasn't just the cakes, because she made lots of savory stuff as well, so there's a lot, and she made it all herself, so there's a lot like cheese straws and pastries, and so it wasn't just sweet stuff, like sausage rolls, and it's like, oh man. Actually, Buddhists, my Buddhist friends say that when they go on a retreat, especially if it's a long retreat, for sort of like two weeks, they go to a retreat center, or maybe it's solitary, it's not things like television they miss, it's food that they start thinking about, and to realize that I'm starting to think about food, because I'm not eating much food, and I don't need to eat much food.

I'm not using much energy up, doing a bit of exercise, although I didn't do any yesterday. I could definitely do with losing some pounds, so if I come out of this having, with a smaller belly, that's a good thing. Never, never going to be a bad thing, is it, to have a smaller belly, unless, of course, you've got no belly, and yeah, I want some of those cakes now.

Oh, where's my time machine? Anyway, that's it. I'm going to go. I think I've talked for enough.

I've done enough, I've talked for enough time, so I'm going to go. Thank you for listening. And please remember to be kind to yourself.

Sounds very forced, doesn't it? Please remember to be kind to yourself. Never do be kind to yourself, because you do deserve to be happy. Do something nice for yourself today.

Do something nice. Lots of love. Speak to you tomorrow.

Bye-bye.
