Now, and also, I think you probably aware if you're listening to it on the day that is being broadcast, or uploaded. are making these more regular. It's getting to the point where I seem to be made well, I'm making them every day at the moment. Which wasn't my intention. But it seems to have happened, if that makes sense, when no one's forcing me to make them. But I definitely I think it's because of the amount of people listening to them and downloading them. That's motivation, motivating me to make more. Because at the moment I'm getting more downloads through, you know, throughout all my podcasts and I've ever had ever, ever, ever, ever. So I'm quite pleased, you know, it's getting it really doesn't go below 4000 downloads a day. Now, which is nice. And yeah, I think yesterday 4700 downloads, I think yesterday. So thank you for listening. And I'll stop talking now while I was carry on talking, but I'll get on with the recording. Now this is going to be a weird one. You probably noticed I'm not talking particularly gently. I'm not shouting, but
this isn't going to be a quiet recording. It's not going to be like loud, loud. So I've had to make the recording earlier. So this is early evening, Sachi the wrong You know, I won't be released until tomorrow morning.
And it's about 10 o'clock. But I couldn't make this recording during the night. Because of the the sound level that it might go up to. And, of course, it may be background sounds, there's more likely to be a few more background sounds due to it being you know, evening, rather than in the middle of night when this you know, there's a lot less going on, which is why it's when I generally make my recordings. So what we're going to do, if y'all want to is we're going to focus on how you feel. We're going to focus on how you feel physically focusing on the stress levels, the anxiety, any kind of panic. So not just physically but also in your mind. Okay, we're going to focus on that stuff. This is something that is something you can do when you're at home, or somewhere where there's no one else around. And simply because of what we're going to be doing. Makes it a little bit unsuitable for doing while you're on a train, or, you know, at work or in a lie library. Although you could do it internally, you could do it internally, but I quite like the idea of doing it externally because it uses a different type of energy uses a physical energy, which let's face it, stress, anxiety is energy. It's almost trapped energy. There's not being expelled, not being expended, not being used, or being channeled. So we're going to channel it into something ridiculous. so ridiculous because what we're going to do is not something you'd expect although the title of the record And we'll give it away a little bit before you listen. So you probably will know. But, you know, generally, it's not what you would expect from these recordings.
We're going to do some singing. And you don't need to be able to sing. You don't need to be classically trained. In order to do this, it makes no difference what you sound like when you say, because nobody else is going to hear. So that says not about sound in good. It's not about sound in, in tune, singing in tune, none of that that's not important. All it's about is singing. So you probably thinking about, you're thinking, Oh, really cottages through relaxation session. So I can lay down and just listen to you being calm. I've done lots of those. And I will do lots of those in the future. But this is going to be singing. So if it is not for you, I would answer, give it a try anyway. Because the worst case scenario is, you'll find it kind of funny. It'll be a bit weird, a bit funny bit strange. But nothing harmful, or bad or negative can arise from this is not possible. Because singing is a very positive, healthy thing to do. You know, it's, it's really good for you, it's actually really good for you to sing is good for your lungs is good for your body, energy wise, and also safe, you're able to walk around while you do. So I would say keep your eyes open. If you've got your eyes closed, make sure you're sitting down. If you're not able to walk around and Sit in a comfortable chair, or if you're in a wheelchair, sit in a wheelchair, or if you're sitting up your bed, sit up in bed, wherever you want to do. Yeah, it's up to you. But I'm going to walk around. And I'm not walking all the way around the building, I'm just still in the room, just I'll just walk around a little bit. Because it gives me a chance to move my body around. And just by moving my arms, I can actually feel sort of a tingling in my back. Like a really gentle, stretch, gentle. And this, I can actually feel distress leaving my body. So I'm going to focus on my body, you can focus on your body. as well. Obviously, you can't focus on my body can you So focus on your own feelings. I'm not going to know how you're feeling. So all I can do is tell you how I feel in and then you can kind of join me. So, for example, let's get it get in touch of how I'm feeling a little bit. I feel always stressed a little bit a little bit uptight today, or now feel a little bit uptight. I'm not sure if I feel it in my body, probably the back of my neck and my head. You know the top of my head I'm feeling my forehead as well. Now I'm noticing a bit of tension there. So I'm gonna do now and it's only do it with you or I'm gonna do it first. So instead of saying just sing, I'm actually going to do as well. So hopefully it won't make your ears bleed when I sing. And such is going to be something you could do it in the style of your own kind of song. So if you're a fan of opera, you could sing it operatic style if that's what you like or if you're a fan of I'm Bob Lee. You can sing in a style of him or Madonna we could just sing it style of a carol or like, you know anything doesn't matter. So I'm gonna focus on my forehead my forehead is feeling a bit tight now I sing better than that normally. So I want to focus my forehead head feels a bit yeah,
he
does a better version. So it's not about singing really well. It's about just singing doesn't matter Haider. The top of my head feels a little little tight. The top of my head, little bit as the focus on top my head is actually instantly starting to feel a bit lighter. I don't know it's because I'm kind of internally maybe it's up my head's laughing at my singing. Who knows. But now I'm gonna focus on the back of my neck. dance. I do Bob Dylan version in the back of mine knee. He on back of my neck, his feet. It's starting to feel and if you focus on the part of your body as you're singing that Gabon or dance or back on Monday, the food and dance tense now to be more relaxed. Oh, God happy? Feeling good. Oh yeah, we're good. So you could be you know, old style singing. So now we're gonna focus on the forehead again. My forehead is feels a little tiny glammy
Whoa, whoa.
Oh, my forehead wasted it felt a little bit shiny is see my forehead now feels a bit about my eyes. my eyelids are feeling stressed. or stressed like a bit achy.
I don't know why I didn't even notice it before. So now focus on my eyes. My eyes feel so heavy. I wish they were a little bit lighter.
Heavy, heavy heavy who I ever used is the MV MV I lifts in covered in ice, nice and smooth. Again, it's just doing a Silly Song. Do you own version you could do my version. There's no copyright on it. I don't think there's going to be any copyright infringements where I need to take you to court to get back all those millions of dollars that you know you've gained from copying my singing. I think we're safe there. So my eyes now feel better. So top my head is not stressed anymore, or forehead on the field a little bit but it's more inside my head. So it's kind of behind my forehead. So I suppose more like in the brain feels more which probably isn't in the brain but it feels kind of there. Sort of between my forehead and my top my scalp and between Yeah, between our forehead and the back of my head is a feeling just a feeling so I was gonna go I had the feeling in between between my Hey, it's just defeated. In in between my head, how about some bread? Why are you talking about bread? Because I'm hungry, I want some bread, I'm trying to focus on my head doesn't matter because I'd like a sandwich. I'm trying to focus on my head. The feeling that seen my head. Oh, oh, oh, and now is our focus for this fall good focus on my head on my head, if do is a bit different, different in my head, my head. So my admittedly if you if you got a headache or whatever, then singing probably might not be what you want to do. But that feeling in my head wasn't pain. It was a feeling. But now it's not there anymore. It's almost like my singing is scaring away all this stuff is hewn away. The stress anxiety does not want any part of my singing. It's not your boy. See ya doesn't want to doesn't want to be involved. So what you can do is you can focus on the bits to feel a bit stressed a bit tense. And you can actually sing to it and ask it what you want it to do.
So a few shoulders or shoulders feel a little bit a little bit not not hugely tense, a little bit tense.
I like my shoulders to feel relaxed. I really would like them to be lacs. Not just left shoulder. But also though, right want to I'd like them both to relax because to my shoulders. I view you you you. My shoulders are relaxing. Shoulders are relaxing. My shoulders feel calm, my shoulders feel calm. They really feel loose. They really feel loose. And something else that we might advise with calm something else reminders we call in min min min min min min max men and my shoulders feel nice now feel not a few so loose feel so like Lola,
Lola Lola. See, your shoulders feel more relaxed now. I mean, you can just make up words it doesn't have to make sense.
You can just go with men, men and men and women. Like I did. I mean, the noumenon and internet was actually part of the song that I spent many hours you know, writing but you know you can't just make stuff up. Just makes just make up silly sounds and focus on as part of the singing. So I've had a few problems one knees lately. So that little bit of tension in my knees. So I'm just gonna focus on the knees, because I can feel it more I'm standing up my knees who relax, feel relaxed, my fu fee monies feel calm. My news feel calm. My knees filled loose now. So loose, like a lucky charm. A low key cha my knees feel calm, my knees Phu, Kham and it was so loose, and they're so loose and you focus in on your knees the whole time. That's the thing. If you've taught if you sing into your knees, focus on your knees don't focus not on your ears, unless you're singing about your ears. And you just focus on your ears, my ears or knees so my ears now, my ears feel nice. Nice and calm, nice and relaxed. My ears who relax My ears foo calm, my is this calm at ease, feel calm. Now, you can go for your body. stomach is a place where we hold while I hold stress or sometimes. So I focus on my tummy Focus, focus on a stomach. And just remember is something is worth remembering. Anyone that thinks that they don't have any muscles in their stomach are incorrect. The stomach is one of the most strongest parts of your body, if not the strongest part, strongest muscle in your body. And regardless of what you weigh, how how much people are overweight, whatever, you have strong muscles in your stomach. So next time anyone says I need you know, you to get a six pack, you say I've got a six pack. It's just hidden. It's in there. We've all got six packs. Or 10 packs, even maybe I might have a three pack but anyway. Tension can be held in the stomach, sometimes. So you focus on stomach. And it could be a direct lovesong to your stomach. Do stomach I love you do you stomach, I can do stomach. I need you to feel relaxed right there. relaxed, relaxed. I really do love you stomach. You are my friend, Stan, my friend. I really do love you forever and ever. La la la la. On purpose. I'm not purposely not rhyming because I just can't think of any rhymes. But it doesn't have to rhyme. You know, you're not trying to write a hit song. You know, this isn't a career move. You know, you're not trying to get number one here. This is about the silliness of it. This is about the fun of it. As we're having some fun messing about companies that mindset things change instantly anyway. Soon as you had that mindset of just was playing. We're playing here. And then you realize, Oh, wait a minute, I'm playing. I'm having fun. Where in the past, it would have been extremely terrible experience. But now I'm actually playing with it. And it changes. your mindset changes the feelings in your body change. Or when the feelings in your body change. The thoughts in your mind change.
So when the feelings in your stomach relax, it sends a signal to the rest of your body. Because let's face it's all connected by the spinal cord, which is connected to the brain. So everything's connected. So if your stomach's relaxed, then your fi is like looking up thinking oh, whoa, Tommy's relaxed. Perhaps we should guess I was relaxed and that's the left foot the right foot said Yeah, can we relax really quickly and left for says Why? The right foot says Well, I'm relaxed quickly before Jason starts singing again. We just get really relaxed Pepsi won't sing to us. Which is a bit rude. My finger very rude to me. stinky feet. So what other parts of your body or maybe you want to focus on your mind? sync to your mind. Like my mind to feel comfortable and calm. Yay. Yeah, I'd like my mind to feel amazing and ever so relaxed and loose and calm. All we he feels so nice. eyes when I feel relaxed in my mind, that kind of rhymed. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. A nice calm mind. I got relaxed got relax, a relaxed mind. Relax. I've got to relax, God to relax, relaxed mind a relaxed mind. My mind is so calm. Mine is so calm, it feels so loose and so nice. My mind is calm 90s camp in the field so loose then in the near almost feel like I should be in this Snow White with a divorce of luck I should be on my way to work, my mind is relaxed, my mind is relaxed, and so calm. So calm. Remember, this is out loud. And I want you to join in is listening to me. It's not about listening to me. It's about joining in. It's about doing it. This is a practical thing. You know, I'm not I'm not this is not a I'm not trying to get you to buy an album of me singing. This is just having fun messing about and it changes how you feel. It changes your physiology pretty much instantly. I feel a lot different to how I did before I started this recording.
And even my ears are okay. My ears sometimes a little bit sensitive. Now feel quiet relaxed. The same as my head and my toes, my knees and my bum. All feel relaxed and calm.
Like a musical. Do you think you'd like Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. You know you've been on stage and people don't really know what's going to be about I don't know what's happening and you're sitting there in a chair. And you stand up he go. My toes my toes are feeling calm now. my lower back. It feels loose now. And I'm noticing that feeling of calmness spread from my fi beat to my head is probably saw that one coming in here. And now I've noticed how my body feels some more much more relaxed. Even in my heels of my feet. And my hands feel calm. Fi calm. My toes feel nice. Our toes feel nice. And my mind has slowed down. And my legs feel nice as well. Yes, they do. Yes, they do. Doo doo doo and my chesties relax, mature. Relax, am IDs, calm, calm. Feel that special kind of feeling of relaxation, spread and down my spine, spoon and down my spine. And you can just have your own song. Make it up. It doesn't have to rhyme doesn't have to make sense. Just make it positive. Make it silly and if I can do it, you can do And that's it. That's the recording, I'm going to stop singing because I don't think it's fair on anyone's ears for me to continue with my singing. But that's today's exercise. And you see why I say perhaps shouldn't do on a train, mind you, you may still, you know, even if you do put on a silly voice and you make a silly sound purposely, you may still sound better than the buskers, but you know, you might not be doesn't matter. It's not a talent contest. And just give as much attention to each part of your body, focusing on that part of your body, when you're singing, stated in the positive, my forearms, my forearms, fee, so calm, fees, calm, you know, just stay conscious, it doesn't matter. Just play with it, play with the idea. It's an idea. And enjoy it, have fun with it. And my suggestion is, you don't have to wait until you need to use it. Just do it anyway. Spend, maybe spend a few minutes a day doing it at home, you don't have to do the loud, you can do, you can do gently. You could do it internally in your mind if you wanted to. And of course, if you can't, if you're not able to move around, you can do it sitting down, you could do line down even. It's up to us about adapting it to your own particular comfort level. And have fun with it. Because as I said, it's not a talent contest. No one's gonna know what you're doing. No one's going to be interested in what you're doing because it's private to you.
But you're going to be interested in the results. So I'm gonna leave you with that. Let me know how you get on. And I will speak to you again tomorrow. I won't be singing to you again tomorrow. Unless I think of another way of using this kind of system. any opportunity for me to sing a toe was a start, I just won't stop. I'm gonna go now. Thank you for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself. Because you deserve to be happy. And part of being kind to yourself. You've done listening to this and doing the silly exercise that I've just mentioned. That is being kind to yourself was one of the things that you could be classed as being kind to yourself and have fun with it. Take care, lots of love. Bye
